Best Foundation For Acne Prone Skin Full Coverage (2024 Update)

Shade Almond. First day trying this. It’s actually really good!! I’m normal to oily skin (T-zone area oily only & some forehead) I used a primer water spray, then a Matte primer (makeup revolution niaci.) elf hydrating concealer, & Laura mercier powder! I LOVED that combo! I definitely recommend this BUUUUT I did use like 5 pumps. I had to use 3 pumps then wait to set a few second then add 2 more pumps. I don’t mind, but it does claim medium coverage, so I can’t be too mad. I just wished I used less pumps. Also, I use a sponge but also used a brush to tap into my skin (cheek area only) then back to bouncing with my beauty blender. Hope this helps. For ref I got shade: Almond and it’s like 95%-97% match. Really good! I definitely rec this product. It was matte but nice and soft. It maybe reminded me of Fenty (with ‘more pumps tough).. for REFERENCE I also use 1.02 (warm olive) in smashbox, light 45 Neutral for KVD beauty, Light 22 N or 20S for tarte FT foundation, and 140 & 150 mix from Fenty. I also use shade Fair in LA Girl, Fair beige 008 in Catrice, & in Maybelline FIT Me foundation I use shade 125 & a liiiiittle bit of mix of 128. I Hope this helps. I ran out of my usual foundation and I saw this online discounted for a sensational price so I figured I'd try this since I've tried other products from this brand previously with remarkable results. When it arrived the packaging was simple ( which I like ) and arrived in perfect condition. It is a pump, which is another plus because you can control how much comes out. I ordered the shade honey and it is exactly how it appeared in the try it on feature on the brands website. Application was simple enough I used my foundation brush using only a little at a time. And O M G !! The coverage was fantastic, definately there's a mattifying effect. In coordination with this I used my Too Faced Born This Way concealer in sand. I went about my day working outside and such.and when it says 24 hour that is no joke. I've tried many foundations but this one is a definate keeper! Love love lovesharron.n

I used to have this on my MUST HAVES list of my make up routine back when I just started wearing makeup. I would still have it on my list if my fine lines and wrinkles weren't creeping up on me. 2.5, 3 is just honestly too generous. So first I like the shade but it does oxidize something terrible. Thankfully I use the white LA girl concealer which will highlight anything no matter how orange so whatever it was still fine. Second, I am a dewy girl, a balmy babe, I like to look WET however I still had to break out powder and double spray for this foundation! It looks…fine. But for being just a few hours into my day it could be so much better. I assumed that even though it was dewy, it would dry down with a luminous finish. It does not dry down at all. The texture it is when you first spread it onto your skin is the same texture it will be 30 minutes later. In the age of mask wearing this foundation should be on the bottom of your list, not transfer proof. not even a suggestion of longevity. I itched a pimple and was devastated to look in the mirror and see a nice tan, bronzed face with a nickel sized patch of angry pink skin where my pimple was :/ returning today as I could not work with the formula.Liz

I bought this #maybellinepressedpowder because of all the great reviews and I typically like #maybelline products. Overall I think this is a fine powder; it's very smooth, the color is perfect, and there packaging is nice. However, it's a little more sheer than I wanted. I've tried it moist and I tried applying it with a thick Kabuki brush but could not get the coverage I wanted. Don't get me wrong, I was not expecting #lancomedualfinish results, just a touch more than this product could provide. I started using foundation back in 2000, when I had just started my freshman year of high school. I unfortunately was one of those teenagers who had to start the constant battle of ACNE PRONE SKIN and I was tired of tormenting myself with extensive expensive products routines. It wasn't until the day I discovered this Neutrogena Skin Clearing product that my whole life changed. It's now 2020 and I'm still using the exact same foundation color *NUDE 40* I still see a noticeable difference in my skin after I apply it as part of my Everyday Beauty Routine. It gives me fantastic coverage without looking heavy or cakey my skin just looks natural healthy because of its smooth and light texture. It is able to cover all my imperfections and doesn't cause me to break out just simply feels great against my skin. PLUS- it contains salicylic acid which helps with my acne makes sure not to clog my pores. I absolutely hate to cover my breakouts with makeup because I feel like I am not letting it heal and possibly making the situation worse. However, when I use this foundation, I feel a lot better knowing that the breakout is being treated instead of worsened. In addition, I do feel like my breakouts clear up a lot faster when I use this foundation while pairing it with the . Though it's a little pricey for a drugstore Brand Foundation, Powder, Concealer constant monthly purchase, its continued Quality and Benefits will keep me continuing to re-purchase recommend it to other people who could benefit from it. I even went and spent hours inside a random drugstore looking at bottles of the colors trying to figure out which shade of the foundation would be the right shade for me. Neutrogena even provides a booklet with color swatches. No dice. The "booklet" they provide is way off. Whoever does their printing prints like… text books. You can't rely on foundation shades printed from random laser printers?!?! This entire experience of hoping for a great liquid salicylic acid acne medication foundation that came in a limited number of like 8 skin tones reminded me way too much of the time I wasted thinking the Clinique Liquid Acne Foundation would be a good fit. In fact, the situations are eerily similar. Both are skin-care geared brands. What on earth. How lame. Why can't they get it together and do some decent skin tone research? What in the actual eff? I’m a sunless tanner and it’s been a true struggle to find a #legitfullcoverage foundation to ensure my face and hands match my body (due to hand washing and exfoliation) and doesn’t end up looking splotchy as the day goes by – until now! I found #Dermablend to be the #realdeal – It is highly pigmented as it was originally formulated for folks with vitiligo in mind. This cream has true ability to provide absolute and undeniable full coverage, is a fantastic bang for buck spent, comes in variety of shade options, seamlessly blends last but not least, has legit longevity. All of the boxes were checked for me. Dermablend products are my new ride or die! COLLAGE: pics show Dermablend Cover Creme in shade 60N (cafe brown). Comes with a little scraper tool. Hand pics show the blend of coverage from full to sheer as needed. PIGMENTATION: A little goes a long way, even if using for full coverage. I used half the amount shown on the scraper and spread it for coverage on the entire front of my hand. BLENDING: Blending is a dream, likely due this being a cream. As shown in pics, the shade is significantly darker than my hand but I was able to blend it in to my hand and it covered all uneven tones in my tan skin seamlessly by just spreading it in circular motions using my fingers. LONGEVITY: This alone will stay on my normal skin from morning until night when I remove my makeup. It not only stays in place but looks exactly as good in the pm as it does in the am. INGREDIENTS: The label mentions it is free of Parabens, Phthalates, Triclosan, Sodium lauryl sulfate (sls). I am still gaining a proper understanding of ingredient listings so I included a picture of the ingredient list in case it would help in the interim. I will include my thoughts from the ingredient list on this and other reviews once I am more knowledgeable can properly provide educated feedback in that regard. OVERALL: I loved this so much that I also purchased several other Dermablend products including primer, liquid foundation, loose powder, and setting spray. I anticipate using this cream as my regular foundation when I’m on top of my sunless tanning, as a contour when I’m not as dark toned (being lazy with self-tan regime), to even out patchy skin on neck, arms, hands. I absolutely love how Dermablend's Cover Creme only contains what you need and nothing you don't. No perfumes, no silicones even. When you melt the thick creme with your fingers it turns into a soft light creme that gives natural looking high coverage with only a thin layer. Combined with Dermablend's powder, it controls oil and shine much better than any other foundation that I've used!Mary

It covers! This creme is a little different from other ones I have used. If using a foundation brush, you will need to scrap the foundation onto the back of you hand using the little “spatula” they provided for you. Put the desired amount on your hand, and “warm” it up by mixing it to make it creamy and ready for application. This foundation is pretty thick so I did have to get used to it. It covers extremely well and has 30 SPF in it – this is definitely my go to when I am outside for long periods of time, at the beach, the pool, or out on the boat. The foundation itself is longwear, not moveable! It covers so well and is somewhat heavy; I will only use it for certain occasions as I don’t feel like this is good for me for everyday wear. This makeup has decent coverage I would say about medium. It dries very well without setting. The color was dark for me but I used it as a first layer and used some concealer. Even though it doesn’t claim to be foundation it works very well. It does have a scent that I think is very pleasant. The one thing I would bring up was the instructions said you can apply it 1-3 times a day but I wouldn’t and didn’t do that. It lasted around 8 hours for me and I did not use primer. I didn’t feel like it dried out my face and the oil was controlled. Impressive to say the least. I wish I could give a full 5 stars but the instructions that suggest adding it so much … I think can be misleading and a deterrent to a pretty good product.Makeurmarq10

I've been trying some different foundations lately, looking for a new/best option for my skin type (oily/large pores/aging) and complexion (very fair). I've tried and used Smashbox CC and foundations before, but hadn't worn them in a while. I decided to give the Studio Skin 24 Hour Oil-Free Hydra Foundation a try (I had not tried this specific option before). I like the feel and coverage I get with this production, but I am still working on the best primer to pair it with. I used over a matte primer (Smashbox brand) and the foundation ended up looking cakey or mottled. I used over a "wetter" primer (Ulta brand) and got a smoother finish, but needed touch up earlier in the day. I've bought this foundation twice already, it's just a super reliable workhorse foundation. It goes on my face smoothly without emphasizing dry patches (I have very dry sensitive skin) and I love that it takes a few minutes to dry so I can move it around with my brush without making it streaky/patchy. It dries down to a natural finish, slightly radiant without looking oily. When I first got it I had oily skin, and now it's dry, so I think this foundation is suitable for all skin types. The best part about this is that it truly does not oxidize and turn orange/dark throughout the day. I found out because I bought a too-light color the first time, put it on thinking "oh well it will get darker later" and was surprised when I looked just as ghostly in the afternoon!Helen

So I have been using this foundation everyday for a couple of years now and I have found that it's great for super sensitive acne prone skin. This foundation is very long lasting, yet doesn't feel heavy, cakey or leave a film on your skin when you try to wash it off. It has the best natural finish that looks like actual skin and doesn't transfer or wipe off throughout the day. I have applied it various ways, but have found that using 1 pump and applying it with my hands and then going in with a beauty blender to smooth certain areas is the best way to apply it. Less is definitely more with this foundation, but you can always build it up and add concealer over it where you feel you need coverage. For reference, I am the shade NC20 in Mac foundation and I use the shade 2.16 in this foundation and it's a perfect match for me!Koko

You have to shake it well because sometimes it‘s not taking product into the pipette and it‘s of thicker consistency. You just need a half of a drop if this makes sense.justme

I read the directions on-line before purchasing since this is a blendable formula you must mix each time and express any product from the applicator to get fresh product. Had some difficulty at first as it seemed product was stuck in the squeeze dropper so nothing was going into it or coming out. I was able to free up the product finally to apply. Excellent coverage that DOES NOT oxidize or fade after application. I had melasma and acne scars so coverage that doesn't fade is important. IT foundation fades after application 😐 I had this on all day without primer or setting spray just some mineral powder. Excellent staying power even after touching my face!! I have used the dermablend coverage cream foundation before but for day to day use it feels heavy and looks a little too make-upy. I like this Creator formula better as you can dictate your coverage level you want – light, medium, full.JBC

I discoverd this brand after an accidnt left my face badly bruised (to put it lightly) A few years ago & this was the only brand that completely coverd my bruises w/o looking caked on (Dermablend Cover Creme Full Coverage Foundation) This was my 1st time using the drops & I'm in love all over again, it's perfect for everyday use, has awesome awesome coverage while still feeling super light on my skin & lasts all day! Im actually able to get the full coverage I've been looking for with just 1 drop & even then i still have some of the tiny drop left over when I'm done! & all that at a reasonable price, another one of the reasons why I love it! I've immediately fallen in love with any of the Dermablend products I've tried. I'd recommend this foundation (& brand in general) to anyone, u can't go wrong with it- it's just the best ❤️In love

I have used this foundation for years. My daughters have also been using it with great results. We loved everything about it, coverage, shade, blended perfectly, improved acne, etc. I was so bummed to see that the formula has changed (bottle with the green design). The shade that I have always bought no longer matches my skin, it is thicker & gross feeling, it does not blend well, and looks terrible on my face. My daughters tried it also and both agreed it was horrible. I don’t understand why this company would change something that was already perfect? Did they even have anyone test this before making this big change? I wish there was a way to still buy the old formula. Now I have to throw away the two bottles I ordered & start to look for another brand 🙁Sad About Changes

This was MY foundation. I've used this foundation for 10+ years. I even used it before they even had the color porcelain formulated. Once they formulated porcelain I was so happy because it was light and fair enough for my skin. However, the new porcelain color is a good 3 shades deeper and ORANGE. The undertone is so unbelievably orange. I don't understand how that is considered porcelain. I bought 2 bottles thinking they were the same color, hopefully I can get a refund. Like other reviews I am SO disappointed by the new formula. The new one settles into fine lines a magnifies pores (I always moisturize and use primer). The new one seems a little thicker and a tad chalky. I went from looking radiant (old formula) to aged (new formula). I’ve always had oily skin and the old formula was brilliant at controlling oil but avoided the heavy full coverage look. Almay really messed up a great product. I got this product on sale for around $27, making this a steal! I think $40 is a bit too high, though. My first thoughts on the product is that looks really good! Due to the limited shades, I was worried ‘light’ would not fit my undertones, but it worked pretty well. Despite this saying it is full coverage, I think it’s more medium as my skin still shows through (which I want). It’s very lightweight and I love that it is matte, since I’m prone to be more oily. I adore this foundation/spf moisturizer!!! I don’t understand people who say it’s cakey- then don’t use half the tube!! I use quite a bit myself and it’s never been cakey, and I use my fingers- it seems the warmth of my fingers blends it perfectly!! I’ve gotten so many compliments on my skin after using this! ONLY after using this! I’ve used other products before but this seems to give such a flawless and natural finish that people think I have flawless skin! I fell in love with It Cosmetics foundation, but was seeing some break outs. Once I switched to the oil free version- no more breakouts!!! This is full coverage, which is great because I have Rosacea. I use a flat top brush to apply and set it with powder. Make sure you wash your face and moisturize before applying. Let your moisturizer settle as well! Because this is a full coverage foundation, I wipe a little off around creases in my face and set with translucent powder. Dermablend was recommended to me for full coverage foundation that wouldn't break me out and it was drying and flakey- this stuff is liquid gold. You've got moisturizer and SPF 50! (You still need to moisturize before- and if you see flakey spots pat on some lotion and let it sit). Perfect color match, my skin is so fair, I was glad to not have to bronze my body for once to match my face.Ally

Love the Tarte Foundcealer! Tarte has been my go-to foundation for many years now and I’ve gotten compliments on it from close friends and others have been surprised to learn that I use makeup at all because the product is so awesome. I started off using their Amazonian clay formula, then switched to the Foundcealer later after a Sephora employee recommended it. I had no issues with the Amazonian clay, I just decided to try the Foundcealer and it seems to last longer so I’ve been using it for years. I love that it has SPF and it really smooths over my skin. I’ve never experienced any irritation or blemishing, and the formula doesn’t dry out quickly. A regular size bottle can last me a couple months and I use mine daily.corera

I’ve had this sitting in rotation with a couple of other foundations that I like. I have the Armani Luminous Silk, Make Up Forever Reboot, and the Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation that all kind of serve the same purpose for me. I have dry skin for the most part and I don’t require too much coverage. I don’t like heavy feeling makeup. I live in a pretty dry climate in Southern California so I don’t have an issue with humidity and foundations battling the elements. If you enjoy any of the other foundations I’ve listed I think you’d enjoy this one. It actually has more coverage than the Make Up Forever and Koh Gen Do. A little goes a long way. Also, as a dry skin hack I still always add just a drop of Josie Maran’s Argan oil to most of my foundations for added hydration and sheerness when applying. I am really surprised this has such a high review score. My immediate issue with it was the bottle – the twist and pop up top was impossible to keep from making a mess. When I opened this it had some spots at the bottom without inside bottle coverage so I thought maybe it had been used and wasn't full. But there's no way with the mess it makes! The foundation itself was super runny but also incredibly oily feeling. I use MAC and Dior face and body foundations so am fine with thin. This was different. It felt and looked so awful and messy that I took it right off. Luckily I had shape tape to put on instead, which has been great so far, so I will stick with that.Amy

I was really looking forward to trying this foundation. I have rosacea and really dry skin. When I looked at the reviews and videos on this product everyone stated it was hydrating. The product stated it wouldn't irritate my skin too. I tried it on twice at two different times just to make sure it wasn't a me problem and every time I broke out bad. I've gotten my skin almost under control so I knew it was the foundation and not me. It also made my dry patches stand out more and dried my skin out so bad. This foundation dried my skin so bad the foundation will start to break off me. This product was wearing off within 2 hours. I really wanted to like it. I really had high hopes for this foundation. I wanted to love this foundation, because I've heard such good things about it, but unfortunately it is just not the one for me. The coverage is a little lighter than I would have liked, and when I tried to add more it got cake-y. It settled in my pores and against dead skin in a way that is really unflattering. That being said, once it's on, it's really easy to forget about, because it is so light. I also like that there aren't any added fragrances. Ok so I tend to like majority of the products I get because they do what I expect, it’s rare that I give a product a bad review however when is time to compare I look 👀 to my past comments and then I’m like yeah this product is way better. This is my case with this awesome foundation! See I’m a Too faced lover! I use many products of that brand , however lately I’ve been noticing a big no no in regards their liquid foundation 😔. My face started to peel but not like one or two flakes no, the entire thing! I didn’t know why and changed my routine, I tried other liquid foundations that I have and for a strange reason kept happening until I searched for liquid foundation for dry skin and I’m beyond thankful! If you have dry skin look no further. The thing is that you must follow the application instructions. Apply dabs with clean finger tips ( all over your face) use a beauty blender but don’t over do it. Lightly blend! I promise you will love itlorena.m

Absolute game changer if you have acne scars or hyperpigmentation to conceal. I love mixing this into foundations or using directly on problem areas! I don't think I could use it on its own – even mixed into a light weight foundation, it can be a bit heavy. But if coverage is an absolute need for you, then this is so worth it. It covers literally anything in a couple seconds. I should note that I also use a hydrating, gripping primer with this. I don't think this would work with anything but a hydrating primer/base, even on oily skin, because it is verrrry matte.Keplynnxx

I wanted to love this but I should have known something was fishy when this went on sale when it did. Everything about it called my name; waterproof, full coverage, transfer resistance, etc. it didn't do any of that. Within a few hours of putting it on and setting it with a spray, it started to make my skin look so bad. My makeup started caking really bad and it made my pores stand out. I have an combination skin and overall it didn't sit well on me. I gave it several chances and even mixed and matched with different setting sprays and powders, but nothing. This was a huge flop, don't waste your money.Stacy

I tried two different primers underneath and tried it on it's own and it just refused to settle or smooth out. It creases badly and makes skin look dry and caked with very minimal use of the product that looked worse and worse if you tried to use even a tiny bit more. Powders and setting spray do nothing to help. I tried beauty blenders and brushes and neither made it better. I ended up going back to a trusty Revlon foundation that was way cheaper and a much better formula. Do not waste your money if you do not have perfect smooth skin.S

I have birthmarks all over my face, and due to Covid the makeup that I used to cover would come off on my mask, so I needed something longer lasting. I found the Maybelline 24hr Color stay and was hooked. I hadn't purchased any other foundation since, not even the more expensive product I've worn for years. Well sadly this morning after applying the last of the 24hr wear, I opened the new 30hr wear assuming it was just going to blend in and cover, but it didn't. I shook the bottle assuming that maybe I didn't mix it together, but that was not the case. The new product did not mix well with the old product and did not cover my birthmark. Normally after setting it is the perfect neutral color, but this turned orange and blotchy. I had to go in with my tried and true old creme to powder and blend because I was short on time. Really wish I could stay a customer, but product no longer covers for me, so on to the next long lasting makeup.ElleinSeattle

I initially really liked this foundation. I have very oily skin, and it was comfortable to wear through my 12 hr work-shift. I didn't notice it separating around my nose and forehead once my oils came through, and it did a nice job of keeping my oil under control overall. My issue(s) with the foundation is that it definitely oxidizes a good shade darker (at least) and I started having breakouts. I have had my acne under control for several years now, and about 2-3 weeks of using this foundation I started developing large painful acne. The foundation is the only thing which had been different in my routine, so I had stopped using it for a week to test my theory. Sure enough, my face cleared in that time and once I went back to using this I developed another round of large acne spots. It is disappointing since I am still trying to hunt down a replacement for my beloved Too Faced Peach Perfect foundation, and this initially gave me high hopes. I will not be continuing to use this product.Shawna W

PROS: – This stuff STAYS ON. When I prime correctly (moisturizing primer to prevent oil production) this foundation sets and don't budge an inch for hours and hours. I wore this in a snow storm for a wedding, getting pelted with icy snow, being bothered by my hair and my jacket's hood, and the foundation was not fazed at all. – It's definitely full coverage. I color correct underneath and I never use concealer with this foundation: it just doesn't need it. One thin layer of this is all you need. CONS: – Sets FAST. Not easy to blend for this reason. You have to move VERY quickly. – Formula is full coverage, but also pretty thick, not runny at all. This makes is easy to accidentally cake on too much, which looks particularly bad with this foundation. – Can be a bit chalky if too dry or caked on. I never set this with powder except for under my eyes. CONCLUSION: This is tricky to work with and can easily look bad, but when done right it's serious full coverage and long wear for a good price. I would recommend this as a cheap option for full coverage, long wear, formal occasion makeup, I don't see this being an effortless everyday foundation.MissVitaB

Would give a 0 if I could. Mosturized twice , primed and then tried for the first time and will never use again ! It’s like liquid chalk , almost impossible to move on the face . Honestly reminded me of using a zinc SPF. I looked like a cakey clown afterwards and yet left the house thinking I’d give it a shot … got home and I had pores and hairs and dry spots that I swear to god never existed before. Horrific honestly. I’m not a foundation snob by any means and I have pretty decent skin but this product not only aged me but made me question if I should wear foundation ever again. Background: I bought this because I use water based and serum foundations because the certain silicones break me out. I used to use MAC Waterweight but I wanted to try a cheaper one and see if it was good. (Tip: Mac Waterweight is exactly the same as Smashbox BB water, which is what I was using before but the MAC is cheaper by a few dollars and the Smashbox was D/c) Comparison: I was looking at L'Oreal Infallible foundation as that is also water based, but it looked like it settled into lines in a swatch more than this did, and that one felt sticky and didn't dry down. This one is thicker. The bottles were all clogged or empty at Ulta in the testers and the tops don't come off which is a negative. The shade range is good. I tried to comparable it to the Nyx Total Control Drops, but I feel those may be slightly lighter for the same name, but I still went with the same name in the Can't Stop Won't Stop that matched me in the Drops (vanilla), as the next ones were too orange or greenish. The Drops were closer to my MAC in texture, but they are the same price as this for less than half the amount, and price per ounce is actually expensive. Plus I wanted to try to see if a different formula was better. Application and finish: It's slightly light but blends in well. It is not full coverage. I don't think using a damp blender works with these kinds of water based foundations. It tends to break it apart with a sponge unless maybe a lot more product is used and I don't like to apply that much. I don't like the look and feel of too much foundation and find it wasteful. Application is key!! I always like the way these foundations look applied with my fingers better and often that is recommended with these types anyway. It doesn't do well over certain silicone primers. It has a natural skin like finish, slightly matte, at least compared to the very wet serum foundations. I appreciate that this dries down even without powder because those other kinds often do not and they melt easily and transfer. So far, for a water based foundation I think it's pretty good. No breakouts and there are pros above my previous foundations. The MAC has great ingredients and nice coloring, but it moves A LOT and too much powder on top makes it look cakey. I feel that the MAC is better for the skin but I'm happy with this so far especially because it stays put.Cordula

I’m a 45 year old, Native American/Irish woman with incredibly oily skin and THIS is my holy grail foundation! I have worn makeup since my teens and have struggled to find a shade for thirty years. I have tried expensive foundations, powder foundations, cheap foundations and can never get the right shade, until now and it is a perfect match. My skin is also horribly oily and most foundations shift, separate and now with being 45 settle in my fine lines, until now. I wore my Can’t Stop yesterday (moisturize, primer, foundation, powder setting spray) for 9 hours and never had to powder or use blotting tissues. I have significant frown lines and it never settled into my creases. When applying less is more and work in small areas because it dries fast. I am beyond impressed and thankful for this miracle in a bottle!MamaTutu

It's so weird. I originally bought this product a month or two ago in the shade Light. I'm usually NC15 and it looked like a good match for me online. I got it, and it was darker than I thought but not outrageously so, just enough that it bothered me. However, the formula and coverage itself was wonderful and became my every day foundation even if the shade wasn't the match I wanted. So then I went ahead and bought the Fair, hoping it'd be a better match, and even if it was too pale, it's almost winter time anyway. The color match was better this time with the Fair. However this one keeps coming out dry and patchy and separates on my skin and I look crusty! I bought these two tubes mere months apart, so this inconsistency is super concerning!Janet

I am 60 years old, with dry, sensitive, post-menopausal skin. I have fine lines, redness and enlarged pores to consider, when using complexion products. My skin is light with pink tones. I look for clean formulas without chemical sunscreen. I just could not find a medium-coverage foundation that is not matte (looks dry and settles in lines) and not dewy (transfers easily and emphasizes pores). I have tried so many products, have read all the reviews, and have heeded store employees' advice. And yet, my holy grail foundation remained out of reach. Until I tried the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation. PROS: This formula grips to my primer without mottling and is not drying nor dewy. It is comfortable on the skin and protects my skin without irritation. The wear is very good, providing a skin-like finish that can handle the occasional hot flash. I was able to find a good shade match. I like the pump tube component. CONS: This product is only offered at Ulta and the brand website, so I worry about the company discontinuing it for lack of volume sales. There are only 12 shades, so there may be challenges for some skintones. My Fair/Light shade is the only one not offered by Ulta in the just-released value size.DestinTart

I'll start off by saying I was NOT a fan of It's original cc cream… It was too heavy, but worse still, were the shades. I'm usually a "light" or "light/medium" and their "light" is a hideous yellow color with a very GRAY cast to it. Their "medium" is just pumpkin orange on me. So I could never find a match. On a whim, I tried their "Bye Bye" foundation in the shade light/medium though. And to my shock, this shade was pretty much a PERFECT match. So my advice is, IGNORE what they say the "undertones" are… The light/medium is NOT cool toned. If anything it is warm/neutral. And I'd look at the newer shades they make because I honestly think they are much better and more realistic looking. Also, the formula of this foundation is incredible. It is literally the ONLY thing I've ever found to replace my beloved and very expensive, Chantecaille "Future Skin" foundation. It doesn't settle into fine lines AT ALL and it looks great all day. And when I do a "half and half" test (meaning put the "bye bye" foundation on one half of my face vs. another foundation) it wins EVERY TIME! The ONLY downside is how difficult this foundation is to get out of things. It sticks in makeup brushes like I've never seen and is murder to wash out. Other than that though, this is perfection. It pairs PERFECTLY with their "bye bye" illuminating concealer. I tried their "illuminating" cc cream too and it was a glittery disaster!! But just like their illuminating concealer which has NO glitter, the "Bye Bye" foundation ALSO has no glitter– just diamond powder in it. So you get a subtle glow with this foundation with NO glittery residue!Marinajc

This is a very good and affordable foundation. I have this foundation in “Light Ivory�. The undertone of this foundation is slightly yellow, but after applying concealer and the rest of my base, the shade looks fine. (Since I purchased this foundation, the shade range has been expanded.) I find that this foundation has a medium amount of coverage that can be built up to increase coverage or sheered out if desired. Although this oil-free foundation claims to have a semi-matte finish, I find it has a radiant/ glowy finish. I have dry skin, so I like the finish of this foundation. After wearing this foundation for a few hours, my skin can get oily and require blotting/powdering. I recommend setting this foundation with powder. If you like a foundation that has a dewy or glowy finish, you may really like this foundation. This product is very affordable, although the bottle only contains 20ml of foundation. (The standard amount is 30ml.) I will continue to use this foundation and I will try different primers and powders to see if I can improve the appearance and wear of this foundation. Overall I like this product. It gives me pretty good coverage, not full coverage but it is buildable. I don't like the scent, it smells very fragranced and I enjoy fragrance-less products more. It's also a little drying on it's own and I have normal/combination skin. I HAVE to use lots of skin prep and moisturizers before putting it on, and overall I enjoy more moisturizing, glowy bases instead of matte looks, so this is a great product for people with oily skin/people who love matte, but not for me. I mix it with the morphe glowstunner tinted moisturizer sometimes and it helps with the dryness!ollie.c

I have suuuper oily and acne prone skin. While working long hours moving around and sweating, the foundation NEVER caked up or looked greasy. It looked amazing after applying it at 8 AM and taking it off at 11 Pm. It also doesn’t break me out. The shade was also perfect on me. There is a fragrance to it, and I can see why people don’t like it but I personally like the smell (it reminds me of baby powder). Elf should make a fragrance free version though. Wish the bottle was bigger though!gabbi

This use to be my go to! for some awful reason though, this liquid foundation makes me break out so bad and it’s makes my skin super oily now. I don’t know why or what changed but I’m guessing the formula or something. Also, the shades are odd, like wayyyyy off now, it looks almost orange like and cheap on my skin, and it has made my acne worse than ever before, just awful. I was in love with this foundation, loyal for a few years now and it really sucked that after all that time, I had to look for another foundation. I Waited a full year in hopes they would bring the original formula and colors back but they never did. I just switched over for the first time to Clinique acne solutions foundation, though it’s 3xs as much, the colors are ON POINT and the best part, it doesn’t clog my pores and make me breakout. It’s helped clear up my acne.Lv

Especially now with wearing face masks I do suffer more from blemishes. This makeup has quickly become a favorite. It look very natural and feels breathable on my skin. It makes my skin look flawless. It does not seep into my fine lines. It is easy to apply with a beauty blender and it blends perfectly. It feels so good on my skin. My skin feels soft, can breathe and it covers any imperfections. It has a natural coverage. It does not cake up or break up and the shade soft beige (50) matches my skin tone perfectly. I like that it is makeup and skincare in just one product. It controls shine throughout the day and it improves the appearance of my skin by treating my occasional blemishes while wearing it. I replied to Victoria before double-checking the email confirmation. After checking the order email, it clearly states foundation was purchased.

The next day, I receive an email that appeared to have originated from me. It asked where my order was and had my information at the top. Clearly, I did not send this email. I respond by informing them that I did not send this message.

The shade purchased was Champagne. It goes on as a much lighter shade and then slowly fades into your skin. I panicked a little at first.
It is lightweight as advertised, but doesn't cover my freckles as I thought it would. This product looks a little more natural than others, so I could use it every day.Lovy Salsman

I ordered the Honey concealer and the shade was not the same as the box…I have sent many emails to this company and I keep getting auto messages stating for me to send in pictures and statement which I have several times…the customer service..there is none.. you can not call this company, you have to email them and hopefully you will get a response..It's been over a month..I am still requesting a return address and I am still fighting for my money back..Phyllis Ross
