I love this foundation! The formula is amazing! So I will start by saying I received this complimentary from Influenster and the shade would have been the correct color if it had not been me going to CA + getting a tan! So now I would say I am Porcelain/Vanilla 🙂 when I am really dark Ligjt beige these are all the neutral undertones! When this foundation first came out they did not have as many fair shades as they do now which I love because us pale girls in Oregon know the struggle. I will note that the "porcelain" shade is a bit darker than at what you would normally label as porcelain so just a thing to keep in mind 🙂 Here is my run down of this foundation: LOVE: – This foundation creates a peerless appearance for me (I am very oily) and I love how the texture isnt fully exposed – I love the shade range of colors too faced has to offer with this – The coverage is amazing I do tend to have circles under my eyes, redness, and pores and this covers it ALL! (Saya medium coverage but for me it's more full which I love) -Little goes a long way and it doesnt oxidize like crazy or turn super orange -Although its hydrating it IS oily free so I love how I fo t get slick after a few hours! co-stars on wonderfully greatly paired with a peerless primer! The only con I would say about this is perhaps the form of application. I do like how this looks better with a brush than a beauty blender. Bit personal preference I know others who use this with a blender and it's pretty so take that with a grain of salt. I would not consider the foundation as medium full coverage I would consider it as a full coverage. my skin is very acne prone with lots of scarring and combination skin. this with one coat plus maybe a few touch ups provided enough coverage to go with it. it felt very light it wasn't setting heavy on my skin as a lot of the other full coverage foundations do that I have tried. the only complaint I have is possibly the staying power it kind of tended to wipe off around my mouth area but that was like 8 hours of wearing it so that's not really a complaint I would say lol. I was very hesitant about posting a picture without it on because I tend to be self-conscious about my face without having any makeup on. but for people like me that has trouble skin I wanted to show you guys how well this product worked for my skin. a lot of the times we view foundations on advertisements that show the before and after pictures with someone with already beautiful flawless skin and it kind of deceives the idea of if not people with skin problems should purchase it or not because it doesn't show us how well it would work for our kind of skin. that's one thing I can say that I cannot stand about makeup advertisements is they show the product before and after on someone with flawless skin so it really doesn't give us a good idea of how well the product even works.. When I initially received this foundation item in the mail, upon opening the package, I noticed the shade name for the exact foundation I received is 'Almond.' Having tested this product on my skin daily for over a week's time, I personally do not find that shade name to be a genuinely accurate descriptor, as I mentioned earlier on. I agree that this product, as advertised, could be considered a medium to full coverage foundation. However, if you are looking for a foundation item to entirely cover small moles or sunspots/freckles, if you do not wish for that appearance in your look, then this is probably not the ideal foundation product for that purpose. I do find this foundation creates a pretty flawless, even, and almost 'airbrushed' sort of finish. I found unfortunately, that for my own skin, which is a combination type, I honestly would not put this foundation as my first choice for repurchasing, as I feel that while this product does genuinely live up to its advertised claims regarding moisturizing effects and ingredients, for my skin type, it was actually over-moisturizing were it a product I'd c continue using on a daily or even every other day or so schedule. The coverage and pigmentation/shading of this foundation was medium to full coverage and lasted all day, with mild to moderate activity, including walking my dogs and other fairly simple day to day activities. This foundation product held up with consistent, even, lasting coverage throughout the duration of my trial period of over a full week using this product daily for at least the first week and a half, then closer to every other day following that period of time. I used to have this on my MUST HAVES list of my make up routine back when I just started wearing makeup. I would still have it on my list if my fine lines and wrinkles weren't creeping up on me. Definitely gives you the value and quality you paid for and more. It's super affordable and makes your skin super soft and blurrednlook for that photo finished look. I noticed of course wearing primer and moisturizer under made this product look much better once finished and lasted much longer. Without the primer I needed to ouch up about lunchtime but when I did do a little touching up I noticed it gave me a cakey look. I also noticed that as I wore it thru the day that my face looked patchy and I believe this was because if the oil in my skin. 2.5, 3 is just honestly too generous. So first I like the shade but it does oxidize something terrible. Thankfully I use the white LA girl concealer which will highlight anything no matter how orange so whatever it was still fine. Second, I am a dewy girl, a balmy babe, I like to look WET however I still had to break out powder and double spray for this foundation! It looks…fine. But for being just a few hours into my day it could be so much better. I assumed that even though it was dewy, it would dry down with a luminous finish. It does not dry down at all. The texture it is when you first spread it onto your skin is the same texture it will be 30 minutes later. In the age of mask wearing this foundation should be on the bottom of your list, not transfer proof. not even a suggestion of longevity. I bought this #maybellinepressedpowder because of all the great reviews and I typically like #maybelline products. Overall I think this is a fine powder; it's very smooth, the color is perfect, and there packaging is nice. However, it's a little more sheer than I wanted. I've tried it moist and I tried applying it with a thick Kabuki brush but could not get the coverage I wanted. Don't get me wrong, I was not expecting #lancomedualfinish results, just a touch more than this product could provide. I feel the best use for this powder are touch ups, but use the #revlonvolcanicroller first so the powder won't cake in oil. I got this on sale and was excited to try it as its my first Fenty Beauty product. Now that I have I’ve got no idea where these positive reviews are coming from or how they can justify almost $40 for the regular price. Definitely my last Fenty product. First thing I noticed is the plastic packaging. I feel like the minimum for charging a premium on a beauty product is some good glass packaging. Next thing is the foundation has that distinct chemically smell that only cheap foundations do, actually gave me a headache when I first opened it. My biggest issue with the product is the fact that it’s extremely drying to my skin, as someone with dry skin I was shocked to find this product labeled hydrating. Literally makes my skin so dry it’s flaking. Coverage is decent, but my red spots definitely pop out and if I liked this product I would recommend getting a concealer to get full coverage.
I grabbed this hydrating long-wear foundation on sale at Sephora. It’s marketed to folks with dry skin and I have oily skin so yes, I had no business buying this, however, I just could not pass up a sale. I loved the finish of the original matte foundation and was super excited to grab this one at a fraction of the cost… and was determined to make it work. The first time I used it was during winter. I figured it’s cold out, so why not. I applied the foundation with a brush, and now looking back, I see I applied way too much. Halfway through the day I looked like a grease pig, a cold one at that. Foundation was slipping and sliding everywhere. Today (mid-spring) was second time I applied it, however, I used a dry sponge and just two small pumps. I was just testing but realized it was actually enough foundation to cover my entire face. The finish is also consistent with the Pro Filt’R foundation. At the end of the day, you can see I had a healthy glow, but not more than my other matte foundations. Overall, I’m very happy with this foundation.kanisha .d
This foundation is so finicky for me! Some days it looks good, other days it looks bad. I still have not found a way to set this foundation so that it doesn’t crease or get patchy. It may have to do with the fact that’s it’s a “clean formula” I noticed a similar texture to another clean foundation as well.. First off, I love the light powdery smell! I wish it was made into a body lotion lol. Second, the shade match is perfect and looks great at first but then starts to crease. Since the foundation is very moisturizing, it can easily lift and streak. It definitely needs to be set and dried with a setting spray and powder, otherwise it will start to crease and settle in every fine line and wrinkle if the foundation still has any moisture left in it. However once set and dry, it can tend to look patchy and cling onto any dry areas of the skin. The original soft matte foundation which I prefer, seems to have a similar finish but fuller coverage and dries and sets almost instantly compared to this one which seems to never dry.adrian.g

I’ve been searching for a new foundation to be my go-to since the Peach Perfect Matte foundation I love has been discontinued. Now I’m so happy because if they hadn’t discontinued I would never have tried this! My new holy grail hands down. My skin has loads of texture from scarring and goes slick with oil by the end of the day, but not while wearing this. I find my skin can breathe so much better with this foundation and it looks like… skin! Literally it dries down so beautifully, no mask transfer AND if I touch my face with all my makeup on it feels just like soft clean skin. Even my husband noticed a different. I can wear through a whole work day without any oil poking through and no touch ups needed. If you’re on the fence with this, just buy it! So I'm new to buying expensive foundation and didn't know which to try. I have combo skin (oily t-zone, dry everywhere else) so I looked into Foundations that were supposed full coverage & were good for dry, combo skin. I usually wear drug store foundation but as i do makeup on social media like ig & tiktok (Guerita_Rdgz, mostly eyeshadow bot other makeup mini tutorials) figured i needed to try out some expensive foundations. After going through hundreds of reviews not knowing which to choose and feeling somewhat overwhelmed by so many foundation options but not wanting to spend a crap ton I purchased, Anastasia Beverly hills, Patrick Starr, both nars (this one & the luminating foundation) & kosas! I actually waited abt a month giving all the foundations an equal shot with the same primers to see what worked best for me. Out of all 5 Foundations the best ones that were truly full coverage and made my makeup look great, lasted all day. didnt make me oily considering i didnt get a matte foundation, and worked well with moisturizing spf, and 2 diff primers on top of my skin was this Nars foundation & the Patrick Starr foundation. Abh was a good runner up. I didn't care much for the other two, as they seemed more like a skin tent. If you don't want full coverage I'm sure those work fine but i wanted full coverage. I will repurchase this one again, I usually wear drug store and I can say some of those were better than the other two Foundations for a third of the price (wet & wild photo focus, milani conceal & perfect, revlon colorstay, Maybelline super stay, Maybelline fit me, elf flawless finish) Overall this particular foundation is one of my favorites to use, I don't get oily with this foundation as others have stated it makes them oily I didn't find that to be an issue for me & I have a really oily t-zone as long as I used a setting spray right after applying my foundation & then i used a good setting powderGueritaRdgz
Been wearing this for a few days in the colour Vienna. When I put it on my skin in the morning, its full coverage that gives my skin a beautiful glow without looking greasy. I don't like the bottle as there is no pump and a little difficult to get the foundation out of the small top. However, after 5-6 hours the foundation oxides SO BADLY and the colour turns very orange and looks greasy. Unlike other foundations I have used I can dab at my face with tissue, and it will remove the oil without removing the foundation which is good- but I don't really want to look like a greaseball in the first place- especially when I put powder on before. I wont be buying this again but I will use the rest of the bottle for when I am going out for short periods. PROS: Initially a beautiful finish, non drying, non cakey, full coverage, no scent, non-transferable. CONS: Expensive, oxides into orange, SUPER greasy after 5-6 hours, creases in lines, no pump.Tia

I received a free sample of the Estée Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue Moisturizing Makeup from SoPost. I tried it out mainly on my T-zone since the sample was so small, applying it with a foundation brush. I initially loved the skin-like finish and medium coverage. I wore this foundation for 12 hours to really see how it performed. The first few hours were great, my face had a natural radiance to it and there was a subtle hydrated glow. Around hour 5/6 though, it started to cake and separate around my nose. As the hours passed, the separation just kept getting worse, to the point where I would've been embarrassed to be out in public because it was so severe (thankfully I was at home). I'm wondering if maybe applying this foundation with a beauty blender instead of a brush would've helped with that, but unfortunately I didn't have another sample to test out that theory. Overall it seems like a good summer foundation for those with dry skin, but as for me and my combination skin, I'm not sure… I might consider buying this to fully test it out on my entire face, but only if it goes on sale.Jkatt

I'm in my late 60s with dry skin, pigmentation spots, wrinkles and fine lines. This foundation applies with or without primer, goes over my C serum, moisturizer and sunscreen smoothly and evenly, has a lovely dewy glow and nice coverage of uneven skin tone and pigmentation. I detect a very subtle, natural scent (nothing sweet, very subtle), and among the many foundations in my collection (high end and drugstore), this one is in very frequent rotation. Besides the fact that it looks beautiful on my skin, it's so darn easy and quick to apply, almost like a CC cream but better coverage and more luxurious all around. And it has a high spf! Whether you're running out to do errands or going more glam or for any occasion, this is a gorgeous foundation that is also very mature skin friendly.Gloria

I'm 40 with combo skin and this goes on effortlessly, and has a medium coverage. I like that I don't have to blend it to death and mess with it a lot for it to look good, it just glides right on with a brush and settles perfectly. It looks like I have naturally perfect skin because you can't tell it's foundation, that's how well this stuff blends in! I do wish they had more colors, I have their lightest shade and it's perfect for me but I'm not usually the lightest shade in brands. There is a scent to this, it's the typical Estée Lauder scent, it's light and doesn't bother me but some may be sensitive to it. Just discovered this foundation from seeing a recommendation from Taylor Wynn’s video last year, but unfortunately couldn’t get my shade at Sephora because it’s sold out. Kinda scared that this foundation is on sale and sold out so much everywhere, it seems like it’s getting discontinued? I had to get my shade at another retailer, but oh my goodness. Beautiful foundation, even in the heat of Houston summer at its peak now. Even 1st foundation (especially a radiant one), I feel like powdering on top would ruin the beauty of its work. I’m combo dry, definitely more dry in winter, but pretty oily now with rare dry spots. I still use mattifying primers underneath (tatcha liquid silk and supergoop unseen spf), and just 1.5 pumps is enough to cover my entire face. Super high coverage even with a damp sponge. Shade 310 silk matches my body, but not my neck entirely, still great for a summer shade, just needs a shade down maybe. Been wearing it for a couple days, and it doesn’t get crazy oily after 6-8 hrs, and looks pretty fresh even after. Love this so much, so much more than the original synchro foundation. Hopefully it’s not getting discontinued!!!desormais
This is one of the best foundations I’ve ever tried. It is very lightweight and has natural radiant finish and medium coverage that can easily be build up to full without looking caking. It does not settle into fine lines or creases. It makes my skin feel hydrated, blurs pores, and it also gives me some subtle lifting aspect. I have combination, acne-prone skin and this foundation does not make my skin feel oily or cause me any break outs. It is easy to blend and apply. One pump is just enough to cover my whole face, so I think this bottle will last me a long time. When the light reflects into the bottle I can see some subtle sparkling particles within the foundation. But these particles disappear when applying the foundation to skin. They are not noticeable on skin at all. I bought the shade 160 (shell) which is a perfect match for my skin tone (for comparison purposes, I am MAC Fix Fluid Studio NC18, Dior Forever Matte 1W, Guerlain L’essentiel 2N, Essence Pretty Natural 70). I definitely recommend this foundation for people with dry to combination skin.bruna.f
I received this foundation along with the primer complementary for review from lnfluenster. The packaging is really nice, with a locking pump which I really appreciate! Let me start by saying I have combo/oily skin and larger pores on my nose and forehead. For the most part I did like this foundation but it wasn't my holy grail. I tried this out several ways to see how it would perform but I always set with powder and setting spray to give it the best chance. First, I tried it with it's intended primer and a beauty blender to apply. I was at home all day but I didn't touch up at all and it still looked nice. I did try this again with a kabuki brush instead of a beauty blender but I didn't like the application as much. Next, I tried it with a different primer (Maybelline Glass Skin) and it wore about the same, except a tad smoother application. Next, I tried it as a mix in with a darker foundation and it seems to mix well. I do think less it more with this product and for me one-to one-and-one-half pumps is plenty; anymore it tended to settle into any lines I might have. It looked best for me if I powdered only my oily areas rather than the whole face. It isn't transfer proof on my skin (powdered or not) but it wears pretty well if you aren't up to much. I'm a healthcare worker so I spend most of my day in a mask and sadly this foundation doesn't stand a chance against the mask regardless of what I tried. I feel like this foundation would be best for Normal skin with normal pores and minimal texture. I have been looking for a new foundation that would work on mature, dry skin. Something that would look like skin but still give up to medium coverage. I saw a YouTube video that mentioned this one. The price point is great and so many shades to choose from. I used the shade finder and it found me a perfect match for my skin. One complaint..the color swatches it showed me were not very accurate. I found them to be darker than they should be. I went by the written description. This foundation is lovely. It glides over my pores and fine lines. It feels weightless to me.It works beautifully on dry skin but it's not heavy with moisturizing ingredients. No fragrance. It dries nicely but I always lightly powder certain areas to help any foundation set. I haven't seen any oxidation in the color. I find it wears all day without added primer or setting spray under normal conditions. Hot, humid weather creatures issues for any makeup so use whatever you like to help it along. I am trying Sephora's Best Skin Ever Liquid Foundation (11.5 P) for the first time. I had been using Even Better Glow Light Reflecting Makeup Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15 by Clinique for quite a few years (and they are discontinuing it) and was looking for a replacement product. I have fair/light skin with lots of dark spots and sun damage. I don't wear a lot of makeup or products and mostly enjoy tinted moisturizers. That being said, I decided to try this foundation based on the many positive reviews! I give this foundation four stars (one star off as I don't love it) for the range of colors that could match my skin tone/issues. It wears very light and I like that and is medium coverage which I preffer. I normally can get away with moisturizing prior to foundation products but with this foundation I discovered it's not good over top a moisturizer so I tried without moisturizer and it stayed on much better (without marks or uneven blending). I have sensitive combination skin (drier with age) and sometimes break out. I had a few blemishes and this covered it well without the need for a lot of concealer. I will probably buy it again. The good: The shade range is wonderful. A small amount goes a long way and I felt the coverage was buildable which is generally a plus. Love that the packaging is completely recyclable. The not-so-good: The way this behaved on my skin is hard to explain. I was expecting a satin/natural finish but it dried down way more matte than I would like. Unless you have very oily skin, you can probably get away without powdering at all and still be able to blend powder bronzer/blush/highlight. However, I set this with a bit of power around my nose and mouth (where I tend to get creasing) and used my usual setting spray. The coverage does not last at all. If anything touches your face, it completely removes the foundation and it started breaking down within an hour or two. I only wore this for about five hours in total and had ZERO foundation left in numerous places around my face. It looked pretty bad within that short amount of time. If you intend to wear this longer than two hours, forget it. For the price, I'm pretty disappointed in this one. It is way over hyped and I wouldn't recommend splurging on this.Lauren
I purchased online during the 21 Days of Beauty Special. I decided to take a gamble and see if I like the formula. I understand the packaging is minimalistic and eco friendly. For the sale price, I'm not upset by the packaging; I will say for the full price, I would expect more, but I understand the idea behind it. What matters more is the product itself: I have dry skin that I remedy with a skincare routine that brings my skin up to feeling 'normal' throughout the day. After that routine, I applied Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base ever so lightly with a beauty sponge. I dipped the sponge once into the pan of foundation and blended it out over one cheek and my nose. Second dip covered my chin and other cheek. A half dip finished off my forehead. The colour I chose matched perfectly and I only had to lightly blend it on my neck. I applied a few spritzes of a setting spray and pushed that in. Once that dried down, the finish was very skin-like. Not too dewy, not too matte. It did not transfer to my clothes throughout the day. About ten hours in, it did feel a bit dry, but still looked good with no cracking or flaking. I applies a moisturizing facial spray to give myself some hydration and went about my day. That was my first day wearing it and it has performed the same since. I truly believe that each and every person's skin is different; even if you fall into the category of 'dry skin' you may need to take measures to get this to work for you. It is a different texture and formula than most foundations I have tried. Utilize primer and facial spray to help your skin stay moisturized or to control oil if either of those is an issue for you. All in all, I really like the product and it is now my go-to, every day foundation.Shelby
This is seriously one of the best foundations I’ve ever used in my 30 years of makeup use, for something that is so natural and skin-like as well as easy to use. With properly moisturized skin and a primer (I’ve been using Dr Brandt Pores no More or Milk Hydrogrip) it sits beautifully on the skin all day. My skin is combo, leaning toward oily, and I found that if I apply moisturizer and blot it as I usually do with other foundations, this doesn’t sit as nicely on the skin or last as well and is more prone to breaking up as the day goes on so I feel like being well-moisturized is key but I suspect it might not perform as well on dry skin. Another key is to apply enough BUT NOT too much or it WILL look cakey, and avoid powder afterwards (or only the absolute minimum). I think this is why there are so many people complaining about it looking heavy/cakey. I find that the best way to get an even, thin application is with a damp beauty blender. Brushes tend to look streaky and messy and fingers tend to apply more product than needed. I started with colour 012 first (I am a very fair neutral olive skin tone) and was really happy with it but as summer came my skin got a little darker and I switched to 027. Note that these run very light — I don’t think I have EVER bought a foundation labelled “medium”. I am obsessed with this for the past two months and bring it with me everywhere I go, and I have six or seven other foundations sitting at home ignored now.collleen

Laura Mercier is discontinuing this product!! I've been on foundation search because the one I've used for years from a different brand was discontinued and replaced with "new and improved" formula that was totally awful. Because so many shades for this one are not available I called LM and asked if they were going to discontinue and was told it has been…I had already ordered this on line so decided to try it anyway and it is just perfect for me. Medium buildable coverage with smooth application and feels weightless on my skin. I decided to call LM again to inquire about shelf life for unopened product and was told at least 3 years. Ulta still had my shade so ordered another one…figure that will give me at least 1-2 years (a little goes a long way!) before I'll need to find something else. Highly recommend if you love this as much as I do and can find your shade snatch it up!Jackie S
This is a tricky product to get right and so it was a disappointment when it still wasn't all that great. The coverage is sheer to medium – but be careful trying to build it up too much because it starts to look cakey/makeup-y when you do. You're better off leaving it sheer and touching up any trouble spots with concealer than trying to build the coverage with this. The finish is beautiful and luminous – but doesn't last at all. I tried it with and without primer (Laura Mercier Pure Canvas Protecting primer) and I also tried it with All Nighter setting spray (again, with and without primer) but nothing gave it any staying power. It broke up within 3-4 hours in every case. I will say that the color descriptions are spot on. I have medium neutral skin and the shade that's described as medium with neutral undertones – 3N2 – was a near perfect match. One other note – it did not play well with my Elta MD sunscreen AT ALL. The day I applied over the Elta MD, this foundation took on an almost paste-like consistency and it never set up. I've never had that happen with that sunscreen before. 2 stars because of the good color match and the pretty luminous finish, but it was a fail for me in every other way.sweetjlee
I got the color Macadamia (light with warm undertones) which is perfect for my NC20 skin. The formula just blends so seemingly into the skin like second skin. I love how it leaves a flawless, luminous, and radiance to the skin, just like the name says! It looks super natural as well and my dry skin loves this formula! It also photographs beautifully and I get compliments on the skin when I wear this foundation. This product also last all night long. I would say it does separate after 10 hour mark but that was once when I noticed it when I wore it for that long, so just a caution that this may happen to you.hue.v

It's officially found MY NUMBER ONE FOUNDATION of 2022! SEPHORA @sc #BestSkinEver Foundation Seriously though. And……..To boot; comes in 50 freaking shades and only costs $20! yep……TWENTY DOLLARES! How co, right? And…A little goes such a long way. I have Rosacea and Adult Acne not even mentioning all the dark spots and Pigmentation. So me finding a foundation that provides Natural finish and covers all that without looking xakey ir oily/dry (either/or)….is really kinda a BIG DEAL. I’ve stopped wearing #foundation for the most part but sometimes I enjoy it. I usually go for drugstore brands though which I think is a mistake, all the ones I’ve tried feel heavy and make my skin look worse over time and are a little off color and I just think that if you have the money and you have the option to splurge on a higher end foundation it’s worth it and you’ll probably notice quite a difference. These #Sephora #liquidfoundation samples arrived in the mail today and I decided to try it on. It’s lovely as can be and you really can’t tell in the picture and video because of lighting and the camera I was using, but it covers my imperfections and slight redness very very well. I wouldn’t call it flawless coverage, but it’s close! Instead, it looks pretty natural. It says it has a “lightweight natural finish” and that is correct, it does. Only I know I could find a shade that matches my skin tone better. But it is far from heavy, I can barely feel it, it feels almost refreshing. The cool part is that it is advertised as a longwear foundation that ~improves the look of skin over time~ and of course I can’t test that out for you from this little sample, but the rest of the advertising is accurate for what that’s worth. I think avoiding foundation and going for #skincare such as serum and lotion instead will best improve my skin but if I wore foundation regularly I would want something like this that is comfortable to wear, medium buildable coverage, and has ingredients that “improve the look of skin over time” and “clinically proven to reduce signs of stress fatigue” with #AntiPollution + 12 hour #hydration. Enriched with #algae extracts and #hyaluronicacid. I do love my hyaluronic acid. This product is #Vegan, #NonComedogenic, and #DermatologistTested – the full size #makeup bottle is made with 30% #recycled glass I notice this stuff even has a little bit of #squalene in it. I have been looking for a new foundation that would work on mature, dry skin. Something that would look like skin but still give up to medium coverage. I saw a YouTube video that mentioned this one. The price point is great and so many shades to choose from. I used the shade finder and it found me a perfect match for my skin. One complaint..the color swatches it showed me were not very accurate. I found them to be darker than they should be. I went by the written description. This foundation is lovely. It glides over my pores and fine lines. It feels weightless to me.It works beautifully on dry skin but it's not heavy with moisturizing ingredients. No fragrance. It dries nicely but I always lightly powder certain areas to help any foundation set. I haven't seen any oxidation in the color. I find it wears all day without added primer or setting spray under normal conditions. Hot, humid weather creatures issues for any makeup so use whatever you like to help it along. It's so weird. I originally bought this product a month or two ago in the shade Light. I'm usually NC15 and it looked like a good match for me online. I got it, and it was darker than I thought but not outrageously so, just enough that it bothered me. However, the formula and coverage itself was wonderful and became my every day foundation even if the shade wasn't the match I wanted. So then I went ahead and bought the Fair, hoping it'd be a better match, and even if it was too pale, it's almost winter time anyway. The color match was better this time with the Fair. However this one keeps coming out dry and patchy and separates on my skin and I look crusty! I bought these two tubes mere months apart, so this inconsistency is super concerning!Janet
I am 60 years old, with dry, sensitive, post-menopausal skin. I have fine lines, redness and enlarged pores to consider, when using complexion products. My skin is light with pink tones. I look for clean formulas without chemical sunscreen. I just could not find a medium-coverage foundation that is not matte (looks dry and settles in lines) and not dewy (transfers easily and emphasizes pores). I have tried so many products, have read all the reviews, and have heeded store employees' advice. And yet, my holy grail foundation remained out of reach. Until I tried the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation. PROS: This formula grips to my primer without mottling and is not drying nor dewy. It is comfortable on the skin and protects my skin without irritation. The wear is very good, providing a skin-like finish that can handle the occasional hot flash. I was able to find a good shade match. I like the pump tube component. CONS: This product is only offered at Ulta and the brand website, so I worry about the company discontinuing it for lack of volume sales. I'm usually a "light" or "light/medium" and their "light" is a hideous yellow color with a very GRAY cast to it. Their "medium" is just pumpkin orange on me. So I could never find a match. On a whim, I tried their "Bye Bye" foundation in the shade light/medium though. And to my shock, this shade was pretty much a PERFECT match. So my advice is, IGNORE what they say the "undertones" are… The light/medium is NOT cool toned. If anything it is warm/neutral. And I'd look at the newer shades they make because I honestly think they are much better and more realistic looking. Also, the formula of this foundation is incredible. It is literally the ONLY thing I've ever found to replace my beloved and very expensive, Chantecaille "Future Skin" foundation. It doesn't settle into fine lines AT ALL and it looks great all day. And when I do a "half and half" test (meaning put the "bye bye" foundation on one half of my face vs. another foundation) it wins EVERY TIME! The ONLY downside is how difficult this foundation is to get out of things. It sticks in makeup brushes like I've never seen and is murder to wash out. Other than that though, this is perfection. It pairs PERFECTLY with their "bye bye" illuminating concealer. I tried their "illuminating" cc cream too and it was a glittery disaster!! But just like their illuminating concealer which has NO glitter, the "Bye Bye" foundation ALSO has no glitter– just diamond powder in it. I've been trying some different foundations lately, looking for a new/best option for my skin type (oily/large pores/aging) and complexion (very fair). I've tried and used Smashbox CC and foundations before, but hadn't worn them in a while. I decided to give the Studio Skin 24 Hour Oil-Free Hydra Foundation a try (I had not tried this specific option before). I like the feel and coverage I get with this production, but I am still working on the best primer to pair it with. I used over a matte primer (Smashbox brand) and the foundation ended up looking cakey or mottled. I used over a "wetter" primer (Ulta brand) and got a smoother finish, but needed touch up earlier in the day. I've bought this foundation twice already, it's just a super reliable workhorse foundation. It goes on my face smoothly without emphasizing dry patches (I have very dry sensitive skin) and I love that it takes a few minutes to dry so I can move it around with my brush without making it streaky/patchy. It dries down to a natural finish, slightly radiant without looking oily. When I first got it I had oily skin, and now it's dry, so I think this foundation is suitable for all skin types. The best part about this is that it truly does not oxidize and turn orange/dark throughout the day. I found out because I bought a too-light color the first time, put it on thinking "oh well it will get darker later" and was surprised when I looked just as ghostly in the afternoon!Helen
So I have been using this foundation everyday for a couple of years now and I have found that it's great for super sensitive acne prone skin. This foundation is very long lasting, yet doesn't feel heavy, cakey or leave a film on your skin when you try to wash it off. It has the best natural finish that looks like actual skin and doesn't transfer or wipe off throughout the day. I have applied it various ways, but have found that using 1 pump and applying it with my hands and then going in with a beauty blender to smooth certain areas is the best way to apply it. Less is definitely more with this foundation, but you can always build it up and add concealer over it where you feel you need coverage. For reference, I am the shade NC20 in Mac foundation and I use the shade 2.16 in this foundation and it's a perfect match for me!Koko

Shade Almond. First day trying this. It’s actually really good!! I’m normal to oily skin (T-zone area oily only & some forehead) I used a primer water spray, then a Matte primer (makeup revolution niaci.) elf hydrating concealer, & Laura mercier powder! I LOVED that combo! I definitely recommend this BUUUUT I did use like 5 pumps. I had to use 3 pumps then wait to set a few second then add 2 more pumps. I don’t mind, but it does claim medium coverage, so I can’t be too mad. I just wished I used less pumps. Also, I use a sponge but also used a brush to tap into my skin (cheek area only) then back to bouncing with my beauty blender. Hope this helps. For ref I got shade: Almond and it’s like 95%-97% match. Really good! I definitely rec this product. It was matte but nice and soft. It maybe reminded me of Fenty (with ‘more pumps tough).. for REFERENCE I also use 1.02 (warm olive) in smashbox, light 45 Neutral for KVD beauty, Light 22 N or 20S for tarte FT foundation, and 140 & 150 mix from Fenty. I also use shade Fair in LA Girl, Fair beige 008 in Catrice, & in Maybelline FIT Me foundation I use shade 125 & a liiiiittle bit of mix of 128. I Hope this helps. I ran out of my usual foundation and I saw this online discounted for a sensational price so I figured I'd try this since I've tried other products from this brand previously with remarkable results. When it arrived the packaging was simple ( which I like ) and arrived in perfect condition. It is a pump, which is another plus because you can control how much comes out. I ordered the shade honey and it is exactly how it appeared in the try it on feature on the brands website. Application was simple enough I used my foundation brush using only a little at a time. And O M G !! The coverage was fantastic, definately there's a mattifying effect. In coordination with this I used my Too Faced Born This Way concealer in sand. I'll admit that I am aware of my own oiliness. My face is a grease trap at a sports bar on Superbowl Sunday. I gave up foundation about a year ago, but then I began working for my nonprofit job, and I have to look good to talk to volunteers. Reader, let me tell you: I was terrified. Tinted moisturizer would disappear within hours. My old powder foundation was out of date. I was panicking. I hadn't swatched foundation in years, and I have acrylic yellow undertones. And let me tell you, dear readers: Almond is the perfect undertone match for me. My skin tans unevenly, but the coverage of this foundation means that you can't notice the slight discolorations. I feel great! Even after a long day of work which would leave me looking like a drowned rat in my old foundation, I look comfortable. My skin looks like skin. I've noticed that powder blush looks better on top of this than my beloved Milk blush stick, so that was a change, but I genuinely love how this covers my difficult, tantrum-throwing skin. I tried everything to make this foundation work. I changed my moisturizer, my primer… everything to make this work, but no matter what you do this foundation sits on your skin really weird. Once it sits on your face for 2 hrs, it begins to separate and clump around the mouth area and my skin isn't even dry. It does have a blurring effect on your pores, but it emphasizes dryness and texture everywhere else. It also DRIES DOWN IMMEDIATELY. I swear after you dot it on your face, then go to blend it out, it won't budge and it leads to unblended splotches of foundation all over the face. I'm really good with base makeup but after using this my skin just looked bad. I also got told I looked orange so this oxidizes a lot, for all my brown girls, I don't recommend.[brand:no7]adella.l

If I don't love a foundation, I'll only get about 1/4 through the bottle before giving up on it.. I can usually tell after the first application, but I often give them more tries than I should. And if/when I get through an entire bottle, even if I really liked it, I love trying new brands instead of repurchasing a previous one. You never know what you're going to discover! But this just might be one of the few that I repurchase (it's only ever happened one other time with bareMinerals, so the fact that I want to restock this is shocking and very telling for me). I have the shade Calico (normally fair/light/porcelain – depending on the brand and time of year), and Fair in the matching concealer (normally fair/light). Both are far more perfect matches than I expected, and this foundation blends really well. I have combination skin, and two things I don't much care for with liquid foundations are how heavy and/or oily some feel, but I haven't experienced that at all with this one. So far I've only worn it in the winter (anywhere from 20 degrees to 60 degrees), so I can't speak for how well it holds up in the humid NC summer weather, but I'm loving it so far. This is me with a full face of makeup, so it's not just the foundation you're seeing, but I love it!stevi.m

I cant believe i didnt find this sooner. Its so underrated . Its marked as a “medium coverage “ no, it’s definitely full coverage. Its so light weight and it definitely lasts. I love that it has zero sent and is made for sensitive skin. Acne prone skin types can uses this with worry breaking out. The only complaint is the shade range. I am a ginger with a neutral undertone so i did get the lightest shade with neutral undertone and its a little dark. However , it doesn’t Oxidize so its workable . I was able to use concealer to make it a perfect match. I got shade cream 10n. The best part i found it at khols for 60 percent off so go check your local Khols.billie.c
Love love love Dermablend!!!! I've used this line for years and years. Not only do I have sensitive skin but also dark spots to be covered and this is fantastic!!! It covers well and its great for the skin!! That's a double plus! Wether or not you have oily skin, dry, combination..there is a product for you and I never rave on a product so much but I'd be lost without having some Dermablend products on hand everyday. I have probably bought the entire line at some point because I use different coverages depending on the seasons and the changes in my skin. I could go on and on but you will not regret anything you pick up from Dermablend!!! I purchased this based on a review I saw on youtube and oh.my. gosh. It's so worth the $38. I have dry skin and this doesn't cling to any dry patches. It makes my skin look smooth and hydrated and doesn't show any sort of texture. It covers all my acne scars and the light discoloration I have from old acne scars. I've applied this with a beauty blender sponge as well as a brush and both ways gave me great coverage and it was very easy to blend. I do prefer the sponge better but I usually always do. I like that it's got SPF 25 in it so I don't have to worry about applying sunscreen before hand ( I always forget). It's not completely transfer proof but I would say it's one of the more mask friendly foundations I've used lately without feeling really heavy on my face. If you've got normal to dry skin, you should definitely try this foundation. I think you'll love it.tiffanie.y

It's so weird. I originally bought this product a month or two ago in the shade Light. I'm usually NC15 and it looked like a good match for me online. I got it, and it was darker than I thought but not outrageously so, just enough that it bothered me. However, the formula and coverage itself was wonderful and became my every day foundation even if the shade wasn't the match I wanted. So then I went ahead and bought the Fair, hoping it'd be a better match, and even if it was too pale, it's almost winter time anyway. The color match was better this time with the Fair. However this one keeps coming out dry and patchy and separates on my skin and I look crusty! I bought these two tubes mere months apart, so this inconsistency is super concerning!Janet
I am 60 years old, with dry, sensitive, post-menopausal skin. I have fine lines, redness and enlarged pores to consider, when using complexion products. My skin is light with pink tones. I look for clean formulas without chemical sunscreen. I just could not find a medium-coverage foundation that is not matte (looks dry and settles in lines) and not dewy (transfers easily and emphasizes pores). I have tried so many products, have read all the reviews, and have heeded store employees' advice. And yet, my holy grail foundation remained out of reach. Until I tried the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation. PROS: This formula grips to my primer without mottling and is not drying nor dewy. It is comfortable on the skin and protects my skin without irritation. The wear is very good, providing a skin-like finish that can handle the occasional hot flash. I was able to find a good shade match. I like the pump tube component. CONS: This product is only offered at Ulta and the brand website, so I worry about the company discontinuing it for lack of volume sales. There are only 12 shades, so there may be challenges for some skintones. My Fair/Light shade is the only one not offered by Ulta in the just-released value size.DestinTart
I'll start off by saying I was NOT a fan of It's original cc cream… It was too heavy, but worse still, were the shades. I'm usually a "light" or "light/medium" and their "light" is a hideous yellow color with a very GRAY cast to it. Their "medium" is just pumpkin orange on me. So I could never find a match. On a whim, I tried their "Bye Bye" foundation in the shade light/medium though. And to my shock, this shade was pretty much a PERFECT match. So my advice is, IGNORE what they say the "undertones" are… The light/medium is NOT cool toned. If anything it is warm/neutral. And I'd look at the newer shades they make because I honestly think they are much better and more realistic looking. Also, the formula of this foundation is incredible. It is literally the ONLY thing I've ever found to replace my beloved and very expensive, Chantecaille "Future Skin" foundation. It doesn't settle into fine lines AT ALL and it looks great all day. And when I do a "half and half" test (meaning put the "bye bye" foundation on one half of my face vs. another foundation) it wins EVERY TIME! The ONLY downside is how difficult this foundation is to get out of things. It sticks in makeup brushes like I've never seen and is murder to wash out. Other than that though, this is perfection. It pairs PERFECTLY with their "bye bye" illuminating concealer. I tried their "illuminating" cc cream too and it was a glittery disaster!! But just like their illuminating concealer which has NO glitter, the "Bye Bye" foundation ALSO has no glitter– just diamond powder in it. So you get a subtle glow with this foundation with NO glittery residue!Marinajc

I love this foundation! For the price, I think this is totally worth the money compared to other high end foundations. It comes out thick, but thins out beautifully on the skin and feels weightless. It wears really well throughout the day, but does start to break apart around the 8-9 hour mark for me. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t get oily in the T-zone, especially my forehead. (I almost always get oily there throughout the day.) Very minor creases in my smile lines. Other foundations tend to crease really bad for me. I honestly was really impressed by how little it creased on my forehead and smile lines. My only complaint is that I have a hard time building it up on my cheeks. I’m going to try a different primer underneath. Other than that, I love it! And the shade 18.5 is perfect for my light warm skin tone.preet.s
This foundation is my baby! I bought this a while back when I was low on cash because its not as pricey as most high end foundations. I used it for a while mixed with moisturizer which worked amazing as a tinted moisturizer. Then I started testing a ton of drug store foundations and hadn't used it for about a month but once I came back to it I was shocked at how good it is. It doesn't emphasize texture on my face. It doesn't emphasize my pores. It feels so light weight, its easy to blend and so full coverage. It covers every bit of pigmentation and redness on my face and it feels like nothing is there! I prefer to use it on its own but sometimes I mix it in with a more dewy foundation depending on the weather. I also find that its good for sensitive skin. Alot of foundations cause me to break out or make my face feel a bit irritated but this foundation doesn't do that, it just seems so gentle. So this will always be in my bag or at my beauty station forever and always because its so affordable and just works so well. The packaging is also great. Its simple and cute. The bottle feels heavy and luxurious and it comes with a pump but somehow its only 20 dollars?! I would recommend this product to everyone. Its amazing.😍😍😍😘sherry.b
I really love this foundation! It has a pretty thick consistency which is something i prefer as i have pretty dry skin. as the description claims it has a natural finish which worried me a little because i have dry skin but as long as you thoroughly moisturize beforehand, the foundation sits very beautifully on the skin. also, despite the thick consistency the foundation is surprisingly light on the skin!!! it doesn’t feel super wet (i’ve used some thick foundations that still feel tacky hours after application) but this foundation really finishes natural. however, i rate this 4 stars rather than a full 5 because it does tend to crease throughout the night. it doesn’t crease super majorly but my smiles lines and creases around my under eye become more visible and defined if i wear it for an elongated amount of time (3 hours). tl;dr it’s a pretty good foundation for the price and from sephora brand!!! i would recommend this foundation to normal to oily skin but if you moisturize thoroughly, the foundation can work for you too!!! ^nanda.g
