Water marks and accidental finger prints go away after using this product with the waffle weave glass towel, the glass and mirrors look like they came out of a car wash machine. Works great. Do not get on plastic as it will ruin it. The actual ingredients are a secret but I smell a light acetone as part of the mix, but that is my guess . If you have a Suburu, make sure you cover the cameras with index cards and painters tape as no cleaner must ever get on the camera and I think this would be more damaging than others. I've loved every other product I bought from Griots – but this one leaves me perplexed. If my windows are already clean its great for a quick dusting and not leaving streaks, especially with the newer combo window towels (terry one side tight weave other side). But if the windows are dirty … this window cleaner doesn't seem to cut the grime, it ends up with the dirt smeared around the windows. This seems especially true for the plastic residue that ends up collecting on the interior of the glass a few weeks after treating your interior plastics with dressing. I very often end up reverting back to old-fashioned ammonia-based glass cleaners to get my windows clean. The double-sided window towels are great! It's fantastic, we literally only had to take the screen down, and sprayed all over, let it dry and put it back up and tada, brand new looking in minutes! Win 8.1 does almost absolutely nothing to address the catastrophic design flaws that made the initial Windows 8 release untenable for use as a desktop system or a tablet system. Quite frankly, Microsoft still haven't caught onto what KDE caught onto years ago with the KDE 4.0 release. It's one thing to build a single technology that scales from the tiny mobile platform to the desktop computing experience. It's quite another thing to actually build a User-Interface atop that technology. KDE is doing it right; providing separate interfaces that can be changed in real-time to optimize the experience for each interface situation. Microsoft is still trying to force the same interface across all the different form factors. Also, you'll hear that the classic desktop experience was improved in this release? Not really. If you were relying on Start8 to provide a desktop launcher, be prepared to keep relying on Start8. Additionally, more internal products shipped with the OS are "Modern-style designed" … so once again you'll be fighting back and forth between your third party application with a traditional window, and the Modern-style UI experience if you rely on Microsoft's provided applications. I have a ranch which helps, but I pop the screens off, spray the windows with water and a hose, do a little scrubbing with the Windex pad on the extension pole that I got last year, rinse and let air dry. Where we live, we have very soft water so no water spots and no streaking! Just spray your screens off and put them back on and go to the next window. No ladder needed with the pole that's included with the kit. After you purchase the kit, you only need to buy the pads which last for several windows depending on the size of window. I first purchased these in-store on the recommendation of a friend and it immediately became a must-have in my cleaning arsenal. I have large windows in my den, dining and kitchen area. Love the light and bring-the-outdoors-in ambiance they provide, but a bear to keep clean w/o these cleaning pads. Wet, scrub with the extender pole with pad attached, rinse with the hose and you are DONE! Seriously! That is all there is to it. What's not to love!? You can do it in your regular clothes 5 minutes before your guests arrive for dinner. I don't recommend it, but yes, you can do it. I even wash my windows in winter if the temp is not below freezing. I tried using these on my truck and hatred them. Used 6 just trying to get the driver's side rear view mirror steak free… and no, it wasn't super dirty to begin with. Same results when I tried it on the passenger window. Thinking maybe I had some weird film on my truck that was causing the steaks and dots where it was drying I tried cleaning my tv screen with them with the same results. It looked dirtier than before I used the wipes, with steaks and marks everywhere on the screen. I've been using Stoner wipes now for several years to clean my recording studio equipment .. mainly my keyboard synthesizer instruments. These wipes are not very wet .. which is perfect for these instruments that have lots of small openings which could be damaged by wetter wipes dripping onto sensitive electronics. These wipes also leave no visible streaking on said surfaces which are mostly anodized and painted metal, and plastic. The only better wipes I've ever used were Glass Plus .. but they quit making them several years ago, so Stoner is it! The only thing I liked better about the others was they had almost no scent .. Stoners do have a fairly strong scent, but the scent fades fairly quickly. I highly recommend Stoner wipes in the round plastic cannisters for cleaning delicate and expensive audio equipment and keyboard/synthesizer instruments.Cloudswimmer

Directions To Prepare: Cut one refill pouch across the dotted line and remove pod with dry hands. Be careful to not cut or tear the pod. Place entire pod into bottle. Slowly fill bottle with 26 ounces of warm tap water. Insert sprayer into bottle and twist to tighten. Shake to help pod dissolve. Any visible particles will dissolve over time. Your product is now ready to clean surfaces! To Clean: Works great on glass and mirrors. Spray surface. Wipe with a dry paper tower or lint-free cloth. To Reuse: Rinse out bottle and sprayer, allow to dry, and follow preparation instructions above. How to Use: Drop pod into empty bottle. Fill bottle as indicated with warm water. Dissolve – Twist on sprayer & shake as pod dissolves. Clean as usual.

I like the packaging and the idea of the pods. Reducing waste is great, and I admire the ingenuity of the product. However I have never had luck with winded leaving a truly streak free shine, this version is no different. I will use since I received the free sample but I would not purchase. I did look at where it might be available to purchase but did not see it in any stores I checked. If someone like the windex original product then I would recommend they try this too.

I absolutely love the fact that big-name companies are hopping on board to try and keep plastic out of landfills! Windex is a brand I have used for many years so I wanted to see if these pods were just as good as the normal Windex. First off, the bottle is plastic and made to be reused. It seems sturdy and it will last me longer than the single-use plastic bottle. It was easy to use, just drop the pod in and fill with warm water, shake until dissolved and you're ready to get to cleaning! It seemed to work just like normal Windex – leaving my mirrors streak-free! Overall, I would recommend this dissolvable Windex kit!horsekrazy74

So I tried this set the other day for the first time. It was actually fun making it. Filled the bottle with hot/warm water and then added the concentration inside and shaking it up. Felt like a science experiment lol Performance wise I'd say it's almost as good as the legit Og Windex. Like 9/10. It's good for the environment, it's a big bottle so it'll last a long time. Even though I did receive this product for free in exchange for my honest review I would totally purchase the refill packs and tell my friends how legit this product is.

Excellent detailed instructions on how to Activate and enter and double check to make sure it registered with Microsoft. Very EASY. This is a Retail Key the Real Deal. NOT one of those Volume license Keys that expire down the road and leave you stranded. I had upgraded thru Microsoft from 8.1 to 8.1 Pro then they wanted me to pay full retail price and there was no way to downgrade without losing all my programs and files at that point and I wanted the Pro version. CHEAPERCODES saved me Big Time financially and all my programs and files. All I had to do was enter the Activation Key and done deal. Didn't even need to redo the software since these are retail keys. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. This is the 3rd Key I have purchased so all my PC's and Laptops are on the same OS.zippiee

Full Disclosure, I didn't buy this from Newegg. I've been running the RC's and OEM prep versions. There's not a whole lot I can say in a Newegg Review that you probably haven't read elsewhere. Win 8.1 does almost absolutely nothing to address the catastrophic design flaws that made the initial Windows 8 release untenable for use as a desktop system or a tablet system. Quite frankly, Microsoft still haven't caught onto what KDE caught onto years ago with the KDE 4.0 release. It's one thing to build a single technology that scales from the tiny mobile platform to the desktop computing experience. It's quite another thing to actually build a User-Interface atop that technology. KDE is doing it right; providing separate interfaces that can be changed in real-time to optimize the experience for each interface situation. Microsoft is still trying to force the same interface across all the different form factors. Also, you'll hear that the classic desktop experience was improved in this release? Not really. If you were relying on Start8 to provide a desktop launcher, be prepared to keep relying on Start8. Additionally, more internal products shipped with the OS are "Modern-style designed" … so once again you'll be fighting back and forth between your third party application with a traditional window, and the Modern-style UI experience if you rely on Microsoft's provided applications. Also, to be blunt, the multi-tasking of Modern-style UI designed applications is… well… again, if I have to explain to a Newegg buyer just how atrociously bad it is, I really don't want to. Bottom line is this: If you have to run a Microsoft Windows operating system, you're still better off picking up a Windows 7 license while you can.Anonymous

Since you cannot buy the license from the Microsoft website you have to buy from a third party site like this. This is the cheapest I found and not too bad for another 22 months of support from Microsoft for Windows 8.1. Just get your Windows 8.1 ISO image from the Microsoft website, burn it to DVD, boot from the DVD, enter this key and you're golden.Bret R.
