Cleans very well. Read some of the complaints and don’t know their particular vehicle but you cannot run certain types of injector or any in some turbo charged vehicles it can screw it up and cause a high dollar repair. You need to know before running any kind of additive to your fuel cant blame their product on someone’s ignorance or it’s possible you’ve broke away sediment or varnish that’s clogged the injectors because of bad fuel filter or never used anything to maintain tank cause with ethanol thats in most gas can cause water build up in gas tank which is heavier settling on the bottom of your metal gas tank. Many people never maintain their vehicle correctly and then use an Additive to try to correct never done maintenance and what happens everything turns loose and now you have a Mess. I own a 2019 Indian Chief Darkhorse motorcycle with 23,000 miles. I have been predominantly buying high test fuel at work. After several weeks, I had very difficult cold starting and a severe loss of power. I tried another fuel injector cleaner. While it did a good job , I was still having some difficulties starting the bike. I tried this cleaner because it cleaned the entire fuel system-tank, pump, cylinder and fuel injectors. The ethanol in the gas was the cause of all my problems. I have now switched to ethanol free gas to prevent future problems. I have a sweet sweet addiction to gas additives/fuel stabilizers/oil additives-basically I like to spend money on things I don't really need, just to get the best possible performance out of my Jeep. I have slowed down my purchasing habits lately though, but when I found a rebate for this online (even though it was a rebate in one of those unbelievably frustrating Visa cards that never seem to function) I jumped at it. I bought it right when my gas light started to come on and dumped the entire 16 oz into the gas tank before filling it up. And I see now why they offer a rebate for this product because I'm hooked. My problem with all the fuel additives out there is that, while they all make my Jeep feel slightly punchier and smoother, I can never really tell if that is what's happening or if it is just a placebo effect, brought on by taking the time, energy, and cash required to get the additive in my fuel tank. I am confident this was no placebo effect. The Jeep had more torque off a standstill, had more power up hills (it has a v8 engine) and my gas mileage actually improved by two miles/gallon. So yea, if you want to bring an old engine back to life scoop a bottle or two. I'm buying one as soon as my current tank is done so I can follow the recommended 1 bottle per tank of gas, twice in a row. Now I'm gonna have to nerd out over brakes and brake fluid.

This car went from trash to dash after I got it cheap from a girl that left it in a hot garage for 2 years while she was overseas. Bad girl. Replaced the tires, leaking coolant system with silicone hoses, evap system (including the bricked charcoal filter), the turbo DV, and the intake (with ECS/K&N cold air) – BUT I was still having misfire codes all over the place with massive hesitation on accelleration and rough starts. So I changed the spark plugs, coil packs, AND the cam follower. Nice power gain, but still ran into issues and misfire CEL codes every week. This stuff cleaned up the fuel injectors (and HPFP) like the other stuff couldn't. I now have a clean starting engine – and most importantly – NO misfires!!!Absolut J.

I'm the type of driver who checks his mpg each time I fill my gas tank. After putting Techron Complete Fuel System Cleaner in my tank I feel quicker acceleration than it was before the fill. (After driving 2,500 miles I check my MPG and find a reading of 24.5 MPG) when I reach the 3,000 mile mark I put in this cleaner, my mile per gallon averages 28 — 31 MPG! That is GREAT for a 385 h.p. 4.6 liter size V-8 engine! I AM DRIVING A 2011 HYUNDAI EQQUS WITH 246,000 MILES DRIVEN This has happened for (at least) the past 20 years. Suzuki Burgman 650 (2007) was misfiring at idle. Put in about 1/3 of a bottle of Chevron Techron concentrate fuel system cleaner and at 40 miles it started to run better. By 60 miles it had solved the problem. I now use only Chevron fuel because it has the same additive that the fuel system cleaner uses. I know additives are helpful in keeping injectors clean and an engine running efficiently, yet I just don't do it on a regular basis. This bottle of Gumout Fuel Injector Cleaner says to add it every 3,000 miles. I've been keeping track of my mileage since I've had this vehicle. It's been a while since my 2003 Jeep Wrangler with the inline 6-cylinder got decent mileage (back when I first got it it had 75,000 miles on it and was getting 17.5 mi/gal). Lately it's dropped to 14.5 mpg and my driving style and path and distance every week has not changed during that time. I forgot to take a picture of me adding the bottle to the tank, but I added it on a virtually empty tank and then added 15 gallons of regular unleaded gas. After running the whole tank and doing a refill, I calculated my mileage, which was now at 15.6 mpg. I'll do this again in 3,000 miles and see if that will help improve it any more. I tried the Gumout brand Fuel Injector Cleaner. The product came in a 6 ounce bottle which treats one average tank of gasoline (up to 21 gallons). The bottle is designed so you most likely won't need a funnel. Pour the product into your tank and then fill up. This product is designed to remove the carbon that can build up on intake valves and ports and fuel injectors. If carbon builds up you can notice your engine can hesitate when you accelerate. Built up carbon can also cause you to use more gasoline then necessary. I suggest you use the Gumout Fuel Injector Cleaner, I see a performance improvement after use.MasterSuperman

I haven’t used this or anything like this in my car and honestly I don’t know much about this type of stuff, but I drive an older Toyota and I figured this would be interesting to try out and my dad explained to me what this product is and he uses it for his truck already. This was my 1st time using this product. I'm a firm believer in doing Preventive rather than reactive maintenance. Keep your injection system clean right from the start of getting a vehicle, don't wait until you have a fuel system problem then try to correct it using an additive. The gasoline sold today doesn't have the additives in it needed to keep our fuel system clean, there is one gas that might be better then others and that is Chevron gas.
