Hubby Bought this gel the smallest size at his barber shop but it was $20 he then got the other size which is 30 something oz for $28. We really like this gel since its 0 alcohol. I'm more of a pomade type of guy myself but when it comes to hair-gel this is my go-to. It's absolutely flawless. The biggest appeal for me is the scent, it smells very good when I put this gel on I smell as though I just came out the shower. It's perfect for going out, it has a strong hold, it's consistency is a little bit sticky on the hands but easy to rinse off, it's not too oily on the hair either it's just the right amount of shine and moisture. If you don't mind the 15 dollar price for the 16 oz unit I would highly recommend it, your hair deserves it. They do offer a less expensive 8oz version too however the 160z can last you over a month with everyday use.L.

I haven't used this product in a long time. I do remember it very clearly. I bought this at one of the discounted or liquidated stores. If I remember right it was either t.j. Maxx or Burlington. It is very Vivid in my imagination that I was trying to do everything to get rid of it. I know it stayed in my downstairs bathroom with a little bit left in the bottle. I hated the residue that it left on my hair and the lack of my hair feeling clean after using this. My ex-husband was very bad about using the last of a product once it got down to the bottom of it. Anyone who dyes their hair copper knows that copper pigmented hair dye will not stay onto the hair particle for long. A brand new copper color hair do will last about a week or two before it fades into a honey brown color, and eventually a yellow-brown color. With this in mind, there are products that will help to prolong the dye coloration and slow down the fade process, and I turn to Redken shampoo every time​ to get the job done whenever I need to prolong my copper dye. I received this as a sample from Ulta with another purchase I had made. I have thin, fine hair and I use this product either with a curling iron or curlers . It says it has #3 hold and it does. I cannot tell you how very pleased I am. I have actually gone two days without styling my hair and it still looks good. This is unheard of for me. I have used very expensive products very inexpensive products and nothing works for me like the EIMI Pearl Styler Styling Gel. I might also mention that I live in a very humid area.chrissipoo

Have used this for years on my fine, white, spiky short hair. Applied to damp hair it can spike hair from 1.5 cm to 3 cm without any falling over. Spikes last all day. Gives a lovely shine with is often difficult with white hair. Love it.Janne C.

I am pretty brand loyal when it comes to my haircare, but every now and again if a product is amazing enough from another line , I will cheat on my usual and dip into the other line for that product. This is one of them The Moroccan Oil Treatment oil, which I feel is their most popular product that lead the way for this brand I think lol yes it is expensive, yes I get it cheaper because I am a liscenced professional lol but, when it comes to these higher end hair products , usually,you get what you pay for. It is worth the expensive price tag. The bottle is on the small side but a little goes a LONG way unless you want to look like you stuck your hair in some grease than by all means lol but seriously a tiny bit, rub in your palms and rub jtno your hair , focusing on the ends and midshaft scalp will just make u oily I have naturally curly hair that is prone to dryness, it gets frizzy , its thick. I use the regular Moroccan oil treatment but there is also a light for those with finer hair , more oily , sleek type ,thinner hair that this regular one might be a little heavy for. I also apply this to dry hairz over my midshaft and ends when I feel they could use a little TLC . If theyre looking a little dry maybe just a little bit of this run through it and it will make your hair feel all soft and loveable again. I like the smell, it isnt anything strong or overpowering. This is the only hair product I do use from Moroccan oil, I am sure they do have other good products but at that price point and already being happy with my current hair care routine, Ive never felt the need to try them and I feel that this product here is their Holy Grail so to speak, like the 1 amazing stand out product where they are at the top of their game. I really love using this stuff. I have for years. My original favorite was Chi Silk Infusions and I still like that stuff but I feel this does the job better. So basically youd use something like this for heat and uv protection as well as moisture and shine. Mostly I use it for getting some moisture back in my really parched, heat abused hair for a nice, healthy and naturally shiny look. Using products like that can go wrong really fast. You can cross the line into greasy mess from shiny tresses quick. You can do that with this too if you use too much but a lot of products do that no matter how little you use. This lasts forever because even with the thickest and driest hair needs only a dime size or less warmed between the palms and lightly rubbed through every layer from root to ends with finger tips open to get every strand focusing on the ends. Ive noticed that it gives me life back to my hair. It gives me that naturally healthy movement you just dont get with fried hair. With this and changing my hair habits I have come almost all the way back from totally broken hair to healthy hair thats a little dry and has split ends. And with my current issues it makes it look like I have none. Especially when I flat iron my hair with this as a heat protectant it almost seals the cuticle completely and keeps my hair looking super healthy until my next wash. I also use it randomly to add a touch of moisture back into my hair if its really dry. Or if my ends are getting bad between trims I use this and flat iron them to seal them and make them look healthy temporarily. It also smells amazing. I love the comforting and unique almost but not quite tropical scent. Its very unique and very feminine without being like a perfume. It makes my hair smell fresh and pretty and that scent lasts for a couple days. Overall it is a little expensive but it lasts a long time so it ends up costing almost the same as the drugstore over time because if does last so long. Its just more of an initial investment. A sephora employee told me this stuff actually is bad for your hair and dries it out but I dont think it would have gotten so famous if it wasnt so great for so many people. Maybe she just had a bad experience. It wouldnt have been the first time I had been given bad information by a Sephora employee but I just thought Id mention it. I totally recommend. Lets just say, I love Morrocanoil and have for years the product has always been consistently the same until I tried the bottle from this seller.This does not smell or feel like MoroccanoilI love my normal Morrocanoil because its Lux, silky smooth and has a specific color and wonderful smell. This product was not any of those things it was tacky it stuck to my hands and didnt glide through my hair and made my hair feel rough. It had a nice smell but not the Moroccanoil scent.I still have some Moroccanoil from my last bottle and even the color is different.This new product is not good. Not sure if I just got an off bottle or what has happened.I read over the label and it said nothing about a new formula. All I can say is this is not the signature Morrocanoil and its not a good product. It feels like castoroil.I liked the price and thats why I ordered from this seller but next time I will just pay full price at the salon because I know what Im getting.It even wasnt in its signature box or had the same colored label so that makes me more curious.I couldnt find a way to contact the seller I went to the reorder page and the sellers name was different then this one. I am going to give it a 3 since I couldn’t give it a 3.5. The Defining Gel has a great non-sticky appeal. Neither my hands nor my hair felt heavy, coated or sticky but it did have some “crunchy” pieces. I don’t like that crunchy gel feeling in my hair. My hair wasn’t curly after using the diffuser as it is with another product I use. It was just barely waves. I will try it again with a different diffuser and see what happens. Great volume for a high pony tail or any up-do. My son uses it to slick back his hair. Pure gel, no water. There's the usual tacky residue on your hands, brushes and combs. I've used this brand of styling gel for years. The newer products with higher numbers, don't seem to have better holding power than those with lower numbers. Perhaps they have changed the formula. #9 is rarely stocked in stores anymore. It works best on my fine hair which blows in the wind if I don't use it. You rub it into your hair after you shampoo while your hair is still wet. When your hair dries, the hair stays where you combed it until you run a comb or brush through it to take the stiffness out. It will last for about 2 days. It is water soluble and non-greasy. And it is also inexpensive. One bottle will last me more than a month. The squeezable bottle allows you to use every bit of it. I store it upside down to make dispensing easier.sumpngood

Fantastic product that works great when used the way my stylist recommends: apply to wet hair and then use blow dryer. When I had difficulty finding more I went on line. That’s when I read a review mentioning itching. Puzzled, I looked at the ingredients. It included hydrolyzed soy protein which I am allergic to. was def excited to try a hair gel complimentary from DevaCurl for my honest opinion that claims to be not crunchy. I'm always very skeptical about products that claim to work hair miracles because I've experienced many let downs.. One difference about this is it says to work it in while curls are soaking wet. Yes! Her hair is fly-away frizzy with light curls like mine, and I think she'll appreciate this as I do. Even when I unthinkingly put a cheap gel on first one day (that I usually layer on when my hair is dried), it came out great with the 2 products piggybacked! I used to use the Arc Angel gel and always liked it. I switched to Ouidad, which works great, but if I leave Ouidad on my hair for too many days without washing it, my scalp gets itchy. I saw Deva had changed the formula so I gave it a try. The gel has a nice thick consistency and you don't need a lot, which is great, however, you don't get nearly the definition and shine you used to get with Arc Angel. At the end of the day my hair is frizzy, the next day it's really a mess. I'm going to go back to Ouidad and just try a different formula. This is the best hair gel I've ever tried after many brands off and on over the years. This has a mild scent that fades quickly, it washes out easily and cleanly, and the price is unbeatable. In my case, I have relatively thick straight hair (ginger) and this gel worked well when the hair is cut short. But at medium length ( 6") it does not hold for long. But that is no fault of the hair gel. It really depends on your haircut. I totally recommend this gel, especially at the price.Clay

I really like Pinaud styling gel. They used to carry it in the area that I live, but the stores that used to carry it all stopped carrying it for some reason. There was one barber shop a few miles away that still carried it, but they wanted close to $30 per jar for it. PharmaPacks, LLC makes it so easy to get it now, and their prices are super reasonable. I see no reason anymore to leave the house (just to be disappointed to find that the store decided to stop carrying what you were looking for) to buy grooming goods anymore.leverlover6
