I purchased this during a short price deal offer. The delivery and unboxing went fine, no quibble. I own a Wahl Balding clipper which I use primarily as a a bald shaver with limited haircutting duties so the Senior has effectively had to deliver the same service cordless. First task was to reset the blades to zero overlap. The result for the close cutting is only just acceptable compared to what the Balding does but the obvious advantage of the Senior is portability and convenience of mobility which almost makes up. Maybe Wahl should consider zero-overlap blades for the Senior or even a cordless Balding clipper for the future.Edwin E.

Exceeded Expectations! Been Bald shaving for close to 25 years. I've used several different methods from the head blade to regular blades to conventional electric rotary shavers. The Balder Pro changed everything. It worked so well on my head that I tried it on my face. Wow, did it worked! I've found that I can shave my head and face using a "slick" type shaving cream in the shower in less than 3-5 minutes, saving so much time than leaning over the sink and making a mess. The Balder Pro does such a great job under my chin and neck area with absolutely no pulling or nicks. Another impressive feature is cleaning is so easy, since I rinse it under the shower while shaving, that when I removed the head to deep clean it, there was hardly any residue, shaving cream or hair. Although my scalp hair has receded over the years, my beard is still quite thick and this thing cuts right through it quickly leaving my face smooth and unirritated. Cannot recommend highly enough! Been shaving my head for over 25 years now with a electric clippers with no attachment. This worked well, but did leave about 2-3mm. Finally decided to try a head shaver and settled on the Groomie. Man, I will never go back, this shaver is fantastic! I've had this over a week now and used about 6 times, still on the first full charge. It works best as a head shaver – super easy to use, takes about 2 to 3 minutes to shave my head (compared to 5+ with clippers) and feels almost baby smooth afterwards. The first time I used it, my head felt stubbly, but later shaves I guess my skin adjusted somewhat and it feels much smoother. So much better than using electric clippers. I've used the Groomie clipper attachments to trip my beard – they work surprisingly well and have used nose hair trimmer which also works fine. I have also used the shaver on other body parts (back of neck and unmentionables) without any issues. I can't comment on the other attachments as I haven't used them. Also super easy to clean.My one negative is I don't get as close to the skin on the face shave. I remember having this issue with other electric shavers in the past though. I do have to go slow with very light pressure on my face as the shaver will pull my skin if I'm not careful – doesn't hurt, but something to be aware of. I've only done dry shaving so can't comment if it would work even better with shaving cream or in the shower. Product was packaged really nicely and charged at about 84%. As I said, been using for over a week now and it has only dropped to 55% or so. There are many options for head shavers on the market and at so many different price points. I ended up going with Groomie as it sounds like it is at least assembled in the US and company also has their own website independent of Amazon so it feels like they fully back their product. Love it! I purchased this last year after doing extensive research and reading thousands of in-depth reviews. This electric head shaver does not disappoint, especially for the competitive price. I shave my head using the pre shave oil with the BaladiePro which takes about 4 minutes to complete a full head shave. It gets 99% as close as a Gillette Fusion 5 blade razor, but I no longer have to deal with the mess of clean up resulting from hairs all over the place. This unit catches all the hair without the blade for a mess-free shave. It's also extremely easy to clean the unit by running it under hot water with some soap. I'd like to mention that you must clean it after every shave to keep it functioning properly. If you're in the market for a good electric head shaver that will make shaving easier & quicker, then definitely give this one a go! You won't be disappointed I promise.Elias
I bought the BaldiePro as I had heard many great things from family and friends but I was still a little skeptical. As someone who regulary grooms – I have a lot of experience so here's my review that I hope helps you make an easier buying decision. First, I was pretty much blown away after my first shave and pretty blown away with how close of a shave it provided. I've had it now for about 6 months and it's still performing as it did the first day. It's very easy to hold in your hand, has a high speed motor (10,000 RPM) and a great battery life. One BIG tip is to make sure you give it a good clean after each shave. Just like anything the more you care for it the better it will continue perform. This is my first clipper , it's really great . Comes off as a quality product , very sharp . My hair was starting to grow abit long , ( i usually cut it down to 1cm length at the hairdresser ) and i cut it from maybe 10cm down to half a centimeter with this when i got it . Like i said it s really sharp but the engine do stall when you go to fast and the hair "clogs up" , but at the right "medium" speed it cut my hair like butter , when it was starting to grow abit long , and thick . I was surprised at how heavy it was and that it vibrates quite abit . It also lacks a good case for storage , so far i'm just using the plastic package it came in and i also dont have a place for it in a cabinet , i just have it on a shelf and if it were to drop to the floor it would have no protection . But i've read that one of wahl's goals is to make affordable quality clippers and the clipper itself is affordable and its quality . So i guess they have cut cost from selling it without a quality case . It also lacks a quality storage system for the plastic things to set the cutting length but i guess thats also to cut cost . So all in all i give this 5stars because it truly is an affordable quality clipper and i m sure i will use this for many years to come without any problems ! 🙂 Theyprobably could've charged twice as much for it and it still would be an acceptable price for the product But i'm probably gonna get myself one of these tiny "aluminium suitcases" for storage . Took me a few minutes because this is bigger and a little heavier than my last WAHL trimmer, but it does a great job! Love the additional neck trimmer. My husband does too. Shaves the neck so smooth without "pinching" the skin. Has so many attachments that we won't use, but sure could have used the eyebrow trimmer attachment.That would have been great! i Purchase 2 of these items and receive this item Friday 2, October 2020 Now i have to return them because they don't work as advertised As a long time user of Wahl Clipper, I was able to use their clipper to trim my beard, mustache, and sideburns, this is my 8th clipper for the last 20 years, so to the point these clippers are terrible, they can't even trim my forearm hair or toilet tissue with and without the trimming attach, they have some power issue when you attach the hair adapter, it would stop the blade from moving; if the blades stop they can burn the hair clipper. it looks like they're getting worst and the gimmick doesn't work, sometimes simple is best. by the way, the trimmer feature stops working as soon as I try to trim forearm hair. I forgot to review the negative review before purchasing it. Anyway am return these items am quite disappointed and I was going to give Wahl the benefit of doubt, but i see they don't need itelio

Unboxing, I was pleased with the number of attachments included, and thought the cape was a neat idea. The scissors looked very cheap, especially for hairdressing, and the razor itself was lighter than expected. That said, I was excited to give it a go. My wife, who has cut my hair a few times before, picked up the razor and had at it. She was pleased with the efficiency of the razor, but disappointed with the scissor, describing it as "bendy". They were definitely less than adequate for cutting hair. Overall, the set gave an adequate haircut. While the cape was cute and somewhat effective, it needed to be about 6" to 12" longer. The plastic was difficult to clean. Brushing and vacuuming had little effect. I wound up showering it down and hanging it to dry. Similarly, cleanup of the razor was more challenging than expected. First, I was disappointed at the lack of a small brush, similar to what I received with all of my other electric grooming products. I did try cleanup with a couple of the ones I had on hand and was surprised that none of them could effectively remove the hair from the plastic body. It could have been static electricity or otherwise, but even hand-brushing would not remove the hair. I wound up wetting my hands and using that to brush off the hair. Surprising and disappointing. Overall, this home unit did provide a decent cut, but I would not recommend it because of the overall low quality and more difficult than reasonable cleanup.tubadude
Over the years I have owned various clippers in an attempt at doing my own skin high fades. With each new clipper purchased I saw varying results, none of which I was very proud of. Receiving these clippers, I was a little bit pessimistic about its results, yet I put them to the test. I was pleasantly surprised by my results, and with more practice, I think I will be very happy with these clippers. The one drawback is I am not getting skin tight results with theses clippers and have to resort to another set of clippers to get it tight enough. Setting up the fade is a breeze using the provided guards, which attach and detach very easily. I was worried that the ease of attachment could possibly lead to the guards falling off, but this was not the case, they stood their ground firmly on the clippers. While I am not an official barber and my skills need lots of work, I was happy with my at home barber skills. "I have only owned this shaver (model LK-6300) for two weeks. I will write an update after some time. However, my preliminary review is as follows:I have shaved 4 times, roughly every three days seems a good routine for me. I am greatly surprised at how quick and easy it is to shave. You could likely manage to shave without looking, while watching a movie. I have tried both wet and dry shaving, and both were equally easy; depends on your preference. The first time I shaved I did quickly, perhaps 2 minutes. But I prefer going slower and taking my time. I actually timed myself at 4 minutes, which is lightning fast compared to shaving with a straight razor.Regarding the smoothness of the shave, it is a little smoother than sandpaper. So perhaps it is as low as a one-direction straight razor shave…but not quite as smooth as a 15-20 minute, full on, straight razor shave; if that makes any sense. I have always used a safety razor since my days in college but got tired of the old-man, bald-on-top, fringed-sidewalls look, so went for the bowling-ball cut. And after reading lots of reviews, I decided on the AidallsWellup.Here’s the deal: If you’re OK with the look but not the feel, this is a good product for the money. A lot of plastic, not metal parts, so you’re not going to get 100,000 miles out of it. "I've been shaving my head for about a decade, and was getting tired of my old Wahl razor (which also plugged in). After looking at some reviews, I found this one–everything seemed great until I tried to use it.The first time I put this thing on my head, I had to rip it away–I felt tons of tiny little pain points, and I thought for sure something was wrong with the razor, and that it had cut up my head. After checking the mirror–nope. What I did notice is, my slight-longer-than-bald hair was still there. So I experimented; did it again, applying more pressure. Same little "pain spots." After some repeated experimentation, I figured it out: it was literally pulling my hair because the blades were so dull. Huh?I tried taking a piece of hair and just "inserting" it into the razor while it was on. It literally got ripped out of my hand. It did not cut a single piece of hair on my head. I don't even have special hair–it's not tough or thick, nor is it thin and light. The fact that the blades would pull my hair made me believe that either the blades were way too dull, or they were not spinning fast enough.I've never returned an item so fast. I had really great expectations for this since the Conair brand is one of my favorites! I had a home phone that looked just like this, so I was sure I'd love this as well. Pros: At first glance you see it has great potential. It's slender and the rubber non-slip grip is awesome and highly needed when you're clipping hair, so I was most excited about this alone. Then the cons came…. Cons: Maybe I got a bad/damaged item, but the on/off button is so difficult to switch to either/or function. It appears stuck and perhaps break off if I force it. I asked for help and their opinions and sure enough they were just as shocked on how they thought if they forced it, it would break easily. So, I'm not the only one! This is where I am very confused. I submitted a return order and I don'y know how the process works. I initially wanted to refund my item, then I changed my mind, thinking I'd love to give this another try. I cannot change the submitted return and it I have no idea what I'm supposed to do, There are pros and cons I wanted to state in my review, but I need another chance to prove this is perhaps a good item. I saw initially that the item is slender and it has a no-slip grip, which sold me. I wish all clippers were made like this. If they tweaked this item, they would be really popular! This is a sad ending lol I didn't mean this to happen, but we were just not meant to be. Sad thing is, I still don't know how to return this. If anyone out there can help. Overall, I am pretty happy with the Conair Combo Clipper haircut kit with detachable blades. I love the durable, stainless steel blades because they work really well and should last a long time. Both the hair clipper and the trimmer are yellow and black and seem very durable. The turbo feature is nice because it provides more cutting power. I like that hair clipper cuts all types of hair for any style desired. The trimmer works well for beards and moustaches, and it works great around the ears and the back of the neck, and for sideburns. The guide comb is really easy to use. I love the no-slip grip because it makes the hair clipper and the trimmer easier to hold and control. The size of the hair clipper and the trimmer are both large but can easily be held with one hand. I love that it comes with nine-guide combs in various sizes, barber scissors, five-position trimming comb, styling comb, barber cape, cleaning brush and oil, blade cover and storage pouch. The storage pouch is durable and fits everything very nicely – without being too jam-packed that you can’t even close it! There’s plenty of room for everything. I've been cutting my own hair for years. I generally just use a #1 or #2 guard all over. I've used this conair kit twice now with good results both times. I would say this is a decent entry level kit with all of the needed things for a good haircut. It has 7 different guard sizes and the left and right ear guard. I only use 2 of these. It includes a little cape, scissors, comb, brush for cleaning the clippers, and blade oil. It also has a small trimmer that runs on batteries (not included). The trimmer actually has a guard you can use with it as well, which is a nice touch that ive not seen before on a haircut kit. My overall impressions are good for this kit. The clippers are very lightweight compared to the previous Wahl brand I also have. They work well and don't get hung up in my hair at all. From my experience the better you take care of the clippers, the longer they will last. Make sure you clean them out after every use, and oil them, and any set of clippers will last much longer. The lifespan of any clipper, which is basically the most important tool of the kit is it's blades and motor. Take care of both of those and they will last longer. There are more expensive and better options out there, but I've had good results with this one so far. No issues at all. I'd recommend it.lexkyguy

Purchased the wahl senior clipper to replace a cheap clipper I had for the last 15 years. Opted for a corded clipper and trimmer because I'm not sure how long cordless versions will last. This is top end expensive for a clipper. Bought for use at home and we are non-professional stylists lol! It feels nice, heavy and the metal casing gives it a vintage look. The clipper itself works great so far, got through my mop and my sons as well. Charges quickly and doesn’t loose power like my old clippers did. Would be nice to have instructions on how best to use it, get a proper fade etc, Instruction manual only has practical stuff like how to charge it, oil blades etc. Had to look it up on YouTube. There are only 3 clipper guards on it which is why it only gets 4 stars. It would be better to have more – getting more costs at least an extra £30, making it overall very expensive. It seems whals more expensive clippers don’t come with sometimes any clipper guards at all so make sure you read full description. Overall it is a great clipper and would highly recommend. I have only used this once but it worked well. I bought it as a beard trimmer as I am fed up with buying beard trimmers that take multiple passes to get to the length required. I bought this because I had seen a handful of people recommend it for this reason. I used it without any attachments at its shortest setting. The stubble was very short, less than 1mm I would say, almost clean shaven but clearly with some growth. The cable power means it is clearly very powerful and did not slow down when going through my beard at all. The cable could do with being longer only because I want to use it in my bathroom and I have to plug in outside the bathroom with an extension lead. The beard came off very easily, no real need for a second pass even (although I did for completelness). Very pleased, and less than a quarter of the time i would normally spend with my Philips beard trimmer which was around 40.The clipper comes with the normal grade attachments from grade 1 upwards. This produces a cut of 3mm. A 1/2 grade is available to buy seperately which provides a cut of of 1.5mm I think, which is what my old bear trimmer was set to. However, without the attachment, I can adjust the cutting length – my first attempt was at its shortest, next time I will do its longest which I think could be around 1mm which is perfect for stubble look.The clipper is heavy, (but feels solid and of good quality), it seems very capable for my needs, and because it is a cable version (rather than battery) I think will last some years. (All my other beard trimmers have died because batteries have failed in the end, rather than the clippers themselves).Very happy with the purchase so far and I would recommend for beard/stubble trimmingdresco.f
The blade arrived crooked. I tried to put it straight multiple time but when doing a fade the blade moves. I cut my client the first day Ive used it in the shop. I thought it would be a problem that could be solved until I cut another client but that one was a walk in. The clipper was cheap but with the legal fees I need to pay now and all the stress it wasnt worth it at all. You get what you pay for, go get yourself a good and new clippers.alexdemon_18

I am not a professional barber but would imagine that this clipper would meet commercial demands. While it is comfortable and lightweight to hold, it is also solidly built with as quiet a motor as one would expect and still deliver adequate power. It is packaged with a generous assortment of combs which are molded from durable plastic.The motor delivered enough power to cleanly cut through my hair which has grown quite long during COVID seclusion. I've been a barber for over 25 years. I never trued ANYTHING cordless. The Envy Li made me a believer. The battery life is superb. I cut pretty fast so I can get a lot done in one charge. You lose a little bit in power when compared to corded clippers but out more more than compensates for that with convenience. I usually put it in my apron pouch after use, so is easy to use. When I got these clippers I was not impressed by their cut by decided to give them some time to break in. 3 months later I'm so mad I did not return them. First of all, you are getting a model D8 trimer and model LCL clippers. They can both be bought individually and save dollars. Secondly, they do not cut very close. I tried to return them to Walmart and because it was one day past the 30 day mark because I’d been taking care of my child that just had surgery, they would not return them or even give me a store credit. I bought these for my fiancé because the ones I ordered off Amazon haven’t arrived yet and she really needed to cut her hair. She has really thick hair so it’s hard to find clippers that don’t pull on her hair. Well she said these are by far her favorite clippers she’s ever used and for only $13! Her fade looks so nice, it was such an even cut. She even put bars on the side of her head. She doesn’t even want the $50 clippers from amazon anymore since these work so good! Highly recommended these if your tight on money or even just want to try them out. They’re so cheap so it’d definitely recommend you giving them a try. Also, her Wahl clippers broke a couple weeks ago and the guards for them fit perfect on these clippers so it’s a total win from us.Riley
