Been shaving my head for over 25 years now with a electric clippers with no attachment. This worked well, but did leave about 2-3mm. Finally decided to try a head shaver and settled on the Groomie. Man, I will never go back, this shaver is fantastic! I've had this over a week now and used about 6 times, still on the first full charge. It works best as a head shaver – super easy to use, takes about 2 to 3 minutes to shave my head (compared to 5+ with clippers) and feels almost baby smooth afterwards. The first time I used it, my head felt stubbly, but later shaves I guess my skin adjusted somewhat and it feels much smoother. So much better than using electric clippers. I've used the Groomie clipper attachments to trip my beard – they work surprisingly well and have used nose hair trimmer which also works fine. I have also used the shaver on other body parts (back of neck and unmentionables) without any issues. I can't comment on the other attachments as I haven't used them. Also super easy to clean.My one negative is I don't get as close to the skin on the face shave. I remember having this issue with other electric shavers in the past though. I do have to go slow with very light pressure on my face as the shaver will pull my skin if I'm not careful – doesn't hurt, but something to be aware of. I've only done dry shaving so can't comment if it would work even better with shaving cream or in the shower. Product was packaged really nicely and charged at about 84%. As I said, been using for over a week now and it has only dropped to 55% or so. There are many options for head shavers on the market and at so many different price points. I ended up going with Groomie as it sounds like it is at least assembled in the US and company also has their own website independent of Amazon so it feels like they fully back their product. Love it! I purchased this last year after doing extensive research and reading thousands of in-depth reviews. This electric head shaver does not disappoint, especially for the competitive price. I shave my head using the pre shave oil with the BaladiePro which takes about 4 minutes to complete a full head shave. It gets 99% as close as a Gillette Fusion 5 blade razor, but I no longer have to deal with the mess of clean up resulting from hairs all over the place. This unit catches all the hair without the blade for a mess-free shave. It's also extremely easy to clean the unit by running it under hot water with some soap. I'd like to mention that you must clean it after every shave to keep it functioning properly. If you're in the market for a good electric head shaver that will make shaving easier & quicker, then definitely give this one a go! You won't be disappointed I promise.Elias
I bought the BaldiePro as I had heard many great things from family and friends but I was still a little skeptical. As someone who regulary grooms – I have a lot of experience so here's my review that I hope helps you make an easier buying decision. First, I was pretty much blown away after my first shave and pretty blown away with how close of a shave it provided. I've had it now for about 6 months and it's still performing as it did the first day. It's very easy to hold in your hand, has a high speed motor (10,000 RPM) and a great battery life. One BIG tip is to make sure you give it a good clean after each shave. Just like anything the more you care for it the better it will continue perform. I had really great expectations for this since the Conair brand is one of my favorites! I had a home phone that looked just like this, so I was sure I'd love this as well. Pros: At first glance you see it has great potential. It's slender and the rubber non-slip grip is awesome and highly needed when you're clipping hair, so I was most excited about this alone. Then the cons came…. Cons: Maybe I got a bad/damaged item, but the on/off button is so difficult to switch to either/or function. It appears stuck and perhaps break off if I force it. I asked for help and their opinions and sure enough they were just as shocked on how they thought if they forced it, it would break easily. So, I'm not the only one! This is where I am very confused. I submitted a return order and I don'y know how the process works. I initially wanted to refund my item, then I changed my mind, thinking I'd love to give this another try. I cannot change the submitted return and it I have no idea what I'm supposed to do, There are pros and cons I wanted to state in my review, but I need another chance to prove this is perhaps a good item. I saw initially that the item is slender and it has a no-slip grip, which sold me. I wish all clippers were made like this. If they tweaked this item, they would be really popular! Overall, I am pretty happy with the Conair Combo Clipper haircut kit with detachable blades. I love the durable, stainless steel blades because they work really well and should last a long time. Both the hair clipper and the trimmer are yellow and black and seem very durable. The turbo feature is nice because it provides more cutting power. I like that hair clipper cuts all types of hair for any style desired. The trimmer works well for beards and moustaches, and it works great around the ears and the back of the neck, and for sideburns. The guide comb is really easy to use. I love the no-slip grip because it makes the hair clipper and the trimmer easier to hold and control. The size of the hair clipper and the trimmer are both large but can easily be held with one hand. I love that it comes with nine-guide combs in various sizes, barber scissors, five-position trimming comb, styling comb, barber cape, cleaning brush and oil, blade cover and storage pouch. The storage pouch is durable and fits everything very nicely – without being too jam-packed that you can’t even close it! There’s plenty of room for everything. I've been cutting my own hair for years. I generally just use a #1 or #2 guard all over. I've used this conair kit twice now with good results both times. I would say this is a decent entry level kit with all of the needed things for a good haircut. It has 7 different guard sizes and the left and right ear guard. I only use 2 of these. It includes a little cape, scissors, comb, brush for cleaning the clippers, and blade oil. It also has a small trimmer that runs on batteries (not included). The trimmer actually has a guard you can use with it as well, which is a nice touch that ive not seen before on a haircut kit. My overall impressions are good for this kit. The clippers are very lightweight compared to the previous Wahl brand I also have. They work well and don't get hung up in my hair at all. From my experience the better you take care of the clippers, the longer they will last. Make sure you clean them out after every use, and oil them, and any set of clippers will last much longer. The lifespan of any clipper, which is basically the most important tool of the kit is it's blades and motor. Take care of both of those and they will last longer. There are more expensive and better options out there, but I've had good results with this one so far. No issues at all. I'd recommend it.lexkyguy

This is my first clipper , it's really great . Comes off as a quality product , very sharp . My hair was starting to grow abit long , ( i usually cut it down to 1cm length at the hairdresser ) and i cut it from maybe 10cm down to half a centimeter with this when i got it . Like i said it s really sharp but the engine do stall when you go to fast and the hair "clogs up" , but at the right "medium" speed it cut my hair like butter , when it was starting to grow abit long , and thick . I was surprised at how heavy it was and that it vibrates quite abit . It also lacks a good case for storage , so far i'm just using the plastic package it came in and i also dont have a place for it in a cabinet , i just have it on a shelf and if it were to drop to the floor it would have no protection . But i've read that one of wahl's goals is to make affordable quality clippers and the clipper itself is affordable and its quality . So i guess they have cut cost from selling it without a quality case . It also lacks a quality storage system for the plastic things to set the cutting length but i guess thats also to cut cost . So all in all i give this 5stars because it truly is an affordable quality clipper and i m sure i will use this for many years to come without any problems ! 🙂 Theyprobably could've charged twice as much for it and it still would be an acceptable price for the product But i'm probably gonna get myself one of these tiny "aluminium suitcases" for storage . Exceeded Expectations! Been Bald shaving for close to 25 years. I've used several different methods from the head blade to regular blades to conventional electric rotary shavers. The Balder Pro changed everything. It worked so well on my head that I tried it on my face. Wow, did it worked! I've found that I can shave my head and face using a "slick" type shaving cream in the shower in less than 3-5 minutes, saving so much time than leaning over the sink and making a mess. The Balder Pro does such a great job under my chin and neck area with absolutely no pulling or nicks. Another impressive feature is cleaning is so easy, since I rinse it under the shower while shaving, that when I removed the head to deep clean it, there was hardly any residue, shaving cream or hair. Although my scalp hair has receded over the years, my beard is still quite thick and this thing cuts right through it quickly leaving my face smooth and unirritated. Cannot recommend highly enough! This is my first cutter purchase. After watching videos I did the COVID Cut. I liked this model honestly because of the looks. I do not not plan on zero gapping, it works just fine the way it is. For the hapless like myself I used the guides. I bought the separate guides and used a #7 on the top a #5 on the sides and the right and left ear guides. These Oster Classic 76 Driftwood Limited Edition Hair Clippers, (Item # 076076-226, USED) were floor models described as "used", but only the value reflected "used." There is little I have to add regarding the quality and performance of this "classic" tool. I dare say they have cut more hair than any other device in history, especially if recruit basic training haircuts are included in the total. They are tough, powerful, and reliable. The only downside may be weight, size, and the fact they are corded. I could pass on the "Driftwood" finish, but it is a rather inconsequential decorative detail. The main (only) control feature is a robust on/off switch. I really appreciate the excellent performance and would purchase them again without reservation.vetterun

I purchased this during a short price deal offer. The delivery and unboxing went fine, no quibble. I own a Wahl Balding clipper which I use primarily as a a bald shaver with limited haircutting duties so the Senior has effectively had to deliver the same service cordless. First task was to reset the blades to zero overlap. The result for the close cutting is only just acceptable compared to what the Balding does but the obvious advantage of the Senior is portability and convenience of mobility which almost makes up. Maybe Wahl should consider zero-overlap blades for the Senior or even a cordless Balding clipper for the future.Edwin E.

Very good clipper. Easy to use. Feels solid and well built. I have very dry hair and it cuts it with no effort whatsoever. I read some people complain about the blades heating a lot but it is something that by following the instructions and keeping the blades lubricated at all times will prevent it from heating up. I am really pleased with this set by Wahl. Though I am not a fan of the color Yellow, it was not enough for me to ding this review a start. Instead, I was very happy with the number of accessories and extension slips. I have not had a chance to use the small clipper yet but i did put batteries in it and it does work great. I really like the tapered extensions for the left and right side. I used this kit to cut my own hair and it actually turned out well. I was able to do everything except square up the neck hairline. I do not trust myself to cut an even straight line in the mirror so I will wait until the hair places are back open for that.TXSunset
The price on these fluctuated a lot. When I first saw them they were over $100, then $80 something. Naturally when I saw them for $35 I jumped on the deal. I kept them for an emergency backup clipper but should’ve sent them back. I might be able to use them on a dog or something. If you are cutting straight fine hair these might work. These are not the one if you need to cut thick, curly, mixed hair.AMY
Replaced a 40+ year old hair clipper and there is an obvious notable difference. Comes with a huge amount of guards to cut the length you want. Slightly quieter and alot smoother cutting that you don't feel much of anything grabbing. It feels almost as if you are slicing through soft butter. I was lucky to have found it with most hair clippers being out of stock due to CV19 but smooth soft and clean operation. Don't like that the mini trimmer that came with it needs batteries but not enough to make it negative.keiffers

I have used my Wahl Chrome Clippers for a good length of time now. I am a qualified hairdresser and have used the clippers to style many customers hairs. The clippers have remained reliable and gives good results. The kit is good value for money as it contains the corded clippers, a selection of different sized graders, a cape and cleaning brush. Also a small container of oil to maintain the clipper blades. Very good value for money.
I just use the main trimmer for basic shaves a couple times a week. Replacing my last one that lasted about 5 years. I'm ok with just knocking some hair off every few days and don't worry too much about razor shaving. Surprised the included plastic clothes protection apron doesn't have holes in it so remember to ditch it it you have children as it's a suffocation hazard. I bought these more than a decade ago and never regretted it. motor is still running strong. several years in the smaller battery powered clipper power switch did quit but it was a heck of a work horse. after the blade dulled for the main clipper, I found a replacement for under $10 and cut like new again. only reason I'm replacing it now after a decade is because the blade dulled again after 100s of cuts and the guards finally wore out and no longer stay attached. cost for new guards and a blade is close enough for me to just buy a new kit. this kit has done great by me and I can retire this one with no complaints. This is top end expensive for a clipper. Bought for use at home and we are non-professional stylists lol! It feels nice, heavy and the metal casing gives it a vintage look. The clipper itself works great so far, got through my mop and my sons as well. Charges quickly and doesn’t loose power like my old clippers did. Would be nice to have instructions on how best to use it, get a proper fade etc, Instruction manual only has practical stuff like how to charge it, oil blades etc. Had to look it up on YouTube. There are only 3 clipper guards on it which is why it only gets 4 stars. It would be better to have more – getting more costs at least an extra £30, making it overall very expensive. It seems whals more expensive clippers don’t come with sometimes any clipper guards at all so make sure you read full description. Overall it is a great clipper and would highly recommend. I have only used this once but it worked well. I bought it as a beard trimmer as I am fed up with buying beard trimmers that take multiple passes to get to the length required. I bought this because I had seen a handful of people recommend it for this reason. I used it without any attachments at its shortest setting. The stubble was very short, less than 1mm I would say, almost clean shaven but clearly with some growth. The cable power means it is clearly very powerful and did not slow down when going through my beard at all. The cable could do with being longer only because I want to use it in my bathroom and I have to plug in outside the bathroom with an extension lead. The beard came off very easily, no real need for a second pass even (although I did for completelness). Very pleased, and less than a quarter of the time i would normally spend with my Philips beard trimmer which was around 40.The clipper comes with the normal grade attachments from grade 1 upwards. This produces a cut of 3mm. A 1/2 grade is available to buy seperately which provides a cut of of 1.5mm I think, which is what my old bear trimmer was set to. However, without the attachment, I can adjust the cutting length – my first attempt was at its shortest, next time I will do its longest which I think could be around 1mm which is perfect for stubble look.The clipper is heavy, (but feels solid and of good quality), it seems very capable for my needs, and because it is a cable version (rather than battery) I think will last some years. (All my other beard trimmers have died because batteries have failed in the end, rather than the clippers themselves).Very happy with the purchase so far and I would recommend for beard/stubble trimmingdresco.f
The blade arrived crooked. I tried to put it straight multiple time but when doing a fade the blade moves. I cut my client the first day Ive used it in the shop. I thought it would be a problem that could be solved until I cut another client but that one was a walk in.
