Solid product all around. Well built, feels heavy in the hand due to premium materials. I own an Andy's T outliner and I can say with confidence that this product has more reliability when it comes to getting the hairs trimmed on the first swipe. However, this unit is quite powerful and vibrates much more in the hand and is substantially heavier than the T outliner, So I would use Andy's for lineups. I was giving my husband haircuts during the pandemic. He wants me to continue but, he told me he had seen the Barber Eliminator but was afraid if it didn't work he would have spent money for nothing. I told him Hammacher Schlemmer always will give a refund if we are not satisfied so he ordered one. He has used it twice. It works beautifully. Of course, he is 78 years old with a partially balding top of the head and longer sides. Using the eliminator on the top of his head was awesome. He was just a bit timid about using it on the back and sides so he put it to the highest setting. I have had very short hair for probably 20 years now. There's only so many options you have when your hair decides it doesn't want to grow anymore. As far as I'm concerned, I had two options. I could let it bother me and spend all kinds of money and effort trying to get my hair back in one way or another OR I could go for the military buzz and keep it short. I chose the latter and it's worked out well for me. Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, I would have my head buzzed every 10 – 14 days because I like to keep it as short as possible. Even when my hair is long (14 – 28 days without being buzzed), it's not very long at all. It's manageable and able to be easily buzzed. I have a friend who works for SportClips and before the world shut down, I would give her my business every two weeks. She would keep my head buzzed and I would contribute to her career but since that option is currently unavailable, I decided ManGroomer might be a great alternative for me. I thought of ManGroomer because I purchased "THE BACKGROOMER™" awhile back and it works just fine. Unlike the Backgroomer, my experience with the ULTIMATE PRO Self-Haircut Kit was not a good one. The clipper did not cut properly. I used several of the guards, I tried cutting without a guard and I even tried plugging in as opposed to cutting on the battery power thinking I would get more power, but the results were the same in each attempt – painful and ineffective. The clippers pulled my hair as opposed to cutting in all of my attempts. Thankfully, I have a proper set of Wahl brand hair clippers in my closet that I was able to use to shave my head without any issues after the ManGroomer Self-Cutting Kit failed me. The packaging was fantastic. The timeliness of delivery was optimal. When I emailed the company for a return and refund request, they literally returned my email and gave me a refund within minutes. It couldn't have been longer than 10 minutes. I was incredibly impressed by the response. Not only did they issue me a refund but the team encouraged me to try a couple of more times with their product. All aspects other than the actual product itself were flawless on ManGroomer's part. For this reason, I will continue to buy products from ManGroomer because customer service goes a long way with me along with the fact that I bought another one of their products that I've had zero issues with. I'm chalking this up as simply something that didn't work for me. It may work for someone else and despite my negative experience with this particular line of ManGroomer's product, I am not discouraged by the brand and I look forward to using more of their products in the future.J.r. Yes, it works and is a better solution for my back hair than anything else I ever tried (other than having someone else shave my back for me). However, even with the mangroomer, shaving your back is still not the easier thing in the world. I recommend this model over the slightly less expensive one because without the extra foil head I would not have been able to get a close enough shave. Despite being the best product on the market, I'm only giving 4 stars because it appeared to be cheaply made. Used it for the first time today and one of the red lock buttons fell off which wasn't a big deal since I was able to pop it back on, but still shouldn't have happened. Its made in CHINA, so this is expected. If Wahl came out with a similar product made in the America, I would gladly buy it instead even if it was more money.Kevin
I have purchased 2 Mangroomers and after the first I was convinced I was a lifetime customer until this last purchase. The blades no longer cut through my back hair and seem to not be made as quality as they used to be. My first model didn't have a problem going through my forest of hair but now even with the power boost all it does is tug and rip hair out. The overall quality just seems to be downgraded after making such a quality product and gaining good reviews and supporters. I'm highly disappointed that such a good product can't even do the one thing it claims to do, man groom. I recently purchased the Braun MGK3220 6-in-1 Mens Beard Trimmer and Hair Clipper Kit and used it for the first time. The clipper kit comes complete with an electric clipper/trimmer, which has many different attachments for your beard as well as the hair on your head. It also includes an attachment to trim your nose and ear hair as well. The trimmer felt light in my hand and was easy to use. The clipper guard is adjustable with different length settings which makes it convenient to trim it up to the length that is good for you. The trimmer did a nice job cutting and did not pull on my whiskers at all. It does not contain the cut whiskers, so they basically flew all over the sink and counter as they were cut. Next, I tried the nose and ear attachment. I always wanted to have something to cut my nose and ear hairs, other then a pair of scissors, so Im glad this included in the kit. I wondered if it would pull on my nose and ear hairs, but it didnt pull at all. As a matter of fact, it almost tickles my nose, but would rather have that feeling than any pain. I was happy with the results and will be using this feature quite often. Over all, this is a decent trimmer for the price range. This is the worst trimmer/shaver I have ever had, including $12 generic ones. I have been using these things for about 15 years, do most of my own haircuts over that time, needed a new one and tried this out. Trimmed my beard with a negligible difference between a 2 and a 0. It was weak enough that I needed to make several passes even through already short hair trying to cut to a 3 length. The poor power then led to an error by me trying to make up for poor performance, so then I had to shave my head instead of looking like a whack-job, but the weak battery then died, so I plugged it in to use with electricity. No such luck – it works on battery use only and turns off when plugged in. I tried again after 5 minutes of charging to get about 5 seconds of power. Now I am sitting here writing this, waiting for both the battery to charge and for the soonest moment that I can return this mistake to Target. Even if they do not agree to refund me if they claim they can’t take it back used, I would rather leave it there for them to throw away then ever bring it back home.x

I have alopecia and so have been wearing wigs for quite awhile now. I usually spend mega $$$$ on wigs as I have to wear them every day. I had been wanting to try a different wig brand for a while, and after seeing Hairdo on QVC a number of times, I figured I'd give it a try…and I'm glad I did! I bought the Short Textured Cut in Medium Brown Gold. It is so lightweight it was easy for me to forget I was wearing it! The hair is soft and easy to style in different ways, and there is minimal ‘perma-tease’, which helps make it look more realistic (in my opinion). This wig fit my head perfectly right out of the box, but that might be due to the fact I have a smaller-than-average head. I’m not a wig fit expert, but if it helps, these are my head measurements (which fall into the small-cap category of 21"–13"-11.5"–11.5"—13"–4"): 21.5” – Head circumference (hairline around the head and nape of neck); 13.0” – Forehead to nape of neck (hairline center of forehead over crown to hairline at nape of neck); 12.0” – Ear-to-ear across front hairline (base of side burn along forehead to side burn base of other ear); 11.5” – Ear-to-ear over top of head (hairline directly above the ear over top of head to top of other ear); 12.5” – Temple to temple (across back of the head); 4.0” – Nape of neck (width of hairline across nape of the neck). The ear tabs didn’t completely cover my hair on the sides, but it covered enough to blend with my own to give a natural appearance. I had no problem with coverage at the nape of my neck; the wig sat nicely and covered my natural hair just fine with no slippage. I typically slick my hair back and fasten it toward the nape of the neck with a few barrettes, which I think helps keep the wig from slipping. Be advised that if you are looking for more of a brown color, you probably don't want this wig. The gold/blonde highlights make up the bulk of the color on this wig (front and back), which is what I was looking for…but it may not be for everyone. I’m posting three pics to this review so you can see what my natural hair looks like (not styled), what it looks like slicked back, and what the wig actually looks like on. The photos were taken in front of a window (natural light) on an overcast day. I ordered a total of six Hairdo wigs in Medium Brown with Gold, thinking there would be some I wouldn’t like and would have to return…but I ended up loving (and keeping) all of them! I am extremely impressed with the quality of these wigs and look forward to trying more styles. Don't let the price point fool you into thinking these are low-quality. They are fantastic!KrankyGirl

What with the pandemic and not having that much hair to worry about I took the plunge and purchased these as I had basically been getting a Number 2 at the barbers anyway. Normal clippers look cumbersome to use on yourself so this looked ideal. And indeed it is. Easy to handle, easy to use, quick and fast, very easy to use. Im now keeping my hair trimmed every week and I think I've visited the barbers for the last time. Only thing id say is be careful with the comb you select. 2mm is not a Number 2. Luckily I chose the 4.5mm one which tbh is a Number 1 on normal clippers, but did a very tidy job. Start high and work down.dundee-united

am older guy, hair thinning. had similar model for years. can trim my own hair with this. used 4-5 times and does really good job. I could have easily paid 4 times as much for a similar quality trimmer/haircut system. is much lighter than my old one that finally died and will try to give it a bit more TLC after each use. But really good deal for price, the cost of one bargain cut…Patrick
