This topper is very pretty. The cut is nice, the color is very close to my bio hair color, and it feels like real hair. However, it does not have a clip to secure the hairpiece in the front (two on each side and one on the back). I can not get it to lay flat on my head; plus, the hair is very thick and poufy, so it is hard to blend it in with my natural hairline. I bought the 20” length seamless extensions and the clips DO NOT slip, they stay in pace ALL day long. They also stay tangle free for HOURS! 🙌🏽 With other brands I’ve used I’ve had to brush my extensions out regularly because they tangle these do not tangle like the other brands I’ve tried. I actually ordered the wrong color for my hair. When I reached out to customer service their response time and customer service was exceptional. I purchased the original 22 inch clip ins and found that the color brown #3 was much lighter in person than shown on the website. I also felt that the seams might be too thick and noticeable, so I exchanged them for the seamless 20 inch clip ins. The shade #2 matched my hair color perfectly. The exchange process was easy, but what frustrated me is that there was a $90 difference in price, which should have been refunded to me. I only received a $10 refund, since the extensions were no longer on sale. However, these are once again on sale today, so it’s pretty frustrating that I had to pay full price for these extensions even though I’m getting much less hair than my original order. It seems like they are always on sale, so why not honor the price I originally payed?? I love the clip ins. They are really easy to work with, but I’m still figuring out placement. I have a terrible cowlick pretty low on the back…so that’s tricky to navigate. I did cut one of the three clips down to piece around the area. Also, I have the wrong color. I had asked them to color match me awhile back but I’m much warmer than the 612. I was too worried the #4/613 would be too dark but I probably should have tried that. I got the 12” and I’m so glad I did because they’re still really long in the back. I don’t want the mermaid hair look…I just wanted a tiny bit of length but mostly volume. I’ll probably take them in for a trim. I ended up keeping them because the swatches they sent didn’t match either. I should have begged for a few other swatches before committing to the color. I was at a bachelorette last summer and one of the girls had these extensions and they looked great. When I saw Ulta had them I figured I'd give them a try. They did not disappoint. So easy to use and surprisingly comfortable, I forget they're in half the time. The color was a little brighter/warmer than my own so I made a purple shampoo bath (using shimmer lights shampoo) and put them in for about 15 seconds to tone them. I also use the color wow root spray on the top of them to blend nicely with my darker roots. I've tried a lot of extensions and these are the best so far.Rebecca S.
Pros: very easy to apply, great concept Cons: feels, looks and smells like synthetic hair. The instructions indicate the hair comes with a protective chemical coat, but if this is 100% human hair, why would you add something that is going to make the hair look, feel and smell like synthetic hair. I'm guessing it's potentially a mix of natural and synthetic hairs. I ordered the Espresso and the hair strands are very thick. If you have fine hair this won't work for you. My hair is thick so it might pass as my own hair. To this company: please stop ruining natural hair with chemical substances and leave it natural (if it's actually 100% human). Soaking the extensions in hair moisturizer treatments after washing them, using heat protectant or non heat styling methods should be enough. If these extensions are not 100% human hair, then be ethic and make them of 100% human hair as stated in product.EC
I bought these for my wedding and to have for special occasions. The color "butterscotch" matched my hair perfectly. They hold style really well and blend with my natural hair. I do agree with another review that they feel almost like Barbie hair versus human hair but for the price and my first set of extensions, I'm satisfied. Only two cons: the clips sometimes pop back open and I can't get them to stay closed. And my hair is relatively thin and fine so I have to work hard to keep the tufts and clips/Seam hidden.
