20 Best Hair For Blue Eyes (Feb 2023 Update)

I have being dying my hair bright, vibrant red for just over five years now, and Arctic Fox has been part of my color maintenance routine since day one. Vibrant red hair is not easy to maintain and keep from fading quickly, which can very quickly do serious damage to your hair if your only using ammonia-based chemical dyes every time you need to refresh your color. Arctic Fox doesn't damage hair at all. In fact, it helps undue the damage caused by permanent dyes because it doesn't have any harsh chemicals that strip hair. Arctic Fox is actually GOOD for your hair and works just like a conditioner, not like a hair dye. I add Arctic Fox to my regular conditioner (sulfate free of course) so that every time I wash my hair I'm also keeping my red looking vibrant and even healthier every time. I always wash my hair using the coolest water I can tolerate and after I shampoo I apply my premixed bottle of 3/4 sulfate free conditioner, 1/4 Arctic Fox Wrath + a dollop of Violet Dream and let it sit on my hair secured on top of my with a claw clip while I finish the rest of my shower routine, just like I would do with a nourishing hair mask. Once my routine is done, I rinse out my hair thuroughly in cool water and towel dry it only so I get the most out of conditioning my hair, and viola! My looks, feels softer and healthier than before I washed it, plus my red still looks like it did the day I first day I dyed it. It's a win win. Not only does Artic Fox keep my red looking great, but it leaves my hair healthier every time also. Plus the custom colors you can create by mixing different different Arctic Fox colors together are endless! I was amazed at the color i got by mixing Purple AF + a touch of Aquamarine! It sounds crazy to mix aquamarine and deep purple together, but the color came out a multidimensional dark blue/purple-ish color that changes color depending on how the light hits it. It's my new favorite color! It does come out very dark, so I apply it (no conditioner added) to the bottom 1/3 of my hair and lightly pull the color upwards into my red to get a perfect blended fade from bright red to deep blue/purple. I have virgin dirty blonde hair. I bought the shade Transylvania which is a pure black color. I applied it last night to my clean hair, no products or nothing in it and let it sit in foil for about 40 minutes. I didn't apply the dye to my whole head, I just wanted to add pieces here and there throughout my hair like I've done in the past. Upon rinsing my hair out with cold water and letting it dry I noticed how faded the black looks. In the shower the water ran blue. I know black dyes typically contain blue but this was like a vibrant blueish green. In artificial lighting the dye in my hair looks like a dark grey, but in the natural sunlight it looks like a greyish green which isn't very pretty at the moment. I'm going to give it one more go before I decide whether or not to return this. I usually LOVE arctic fox dyes and have never had issues before but this black dye really needs to be reformulated.Jen

I didn't approve or ask for this shade! I got starry black. I'm a natural blonde. In order for me to achieve black hair that doesn't turn green after the 1st wash,I would have to do a filler color first like a medium brown. I don't want to put all those chemicals on my hair. Plus I don't want black hair! I DID NOT USE THIS! I have used feria in the past though, I have used their bleaching kit and their auburn, red and black cherry shades. It is the only box dye I will use. It not only has an essential oil you add to it for a better smell but it also helps the hair feel softer and more hydrated as well as look shiny and healthy, well as healthy as dyed hair can look. For a box dye it's not bad. If I had gotten a color I approved of I totally would have used it! My daughter has medium golden brown hair and has been debating allowing me to use this on her. The box came with everything I needed for color application as well as after care. Instructions were easy enough to follow. There was enough color to fully saturate my hair. I started with light brown hair and it got it to a dark vibrant black. Washed as instructed and used after care products and my hair did not feel damaged. Loved the name and the colour! Was all for it! the colour was absolutely beautiful in the beginning, but be aware!! Your skin and nails will be stained for days/ weeks to come every time you wash your hair. I had to use gloves, each time I washed my hair, or else I would look like princess Fiona. Lol . Even just scratching my head, or washing in the shower, by back and neck was stained. I only wash my hair about twice a week, but it still faded so quickly, after about 2 weeks blond was showing through on top, and I just didn't want to go through the staining process again, so used shampoo and baking soda, to fade it out quicker. I applied this color to very very light blonde hair (bleached — see starter photo). I left it on for maybe 40 minutes and washed it out with warm water and applied a color sealing conditioner. The color washed away immediately — but it did tone my hair and make it very light! This was kind of pretty on its own. I tried again after a couple of days and this time I left the color on for about 4 hours. I applied it and put a bag on my head and just went about my day in my house. After washing it out with COLD water and applying the conditioner the color turned out beautifully! Not sure how it will work out with longevity but I love it!ambirbler

Originally when I picked the color off the lime crime website it looked more like a tan neutral almost with subtle hints of peach close to nude color, and then when it arrived and the I swatched it – it was so far from what it looked like on the website? Hence why I usually don’t like purchasing make up mostly “lipsticks” online. However, I was extremely surprised how beautiful it was with little to no make up on and just very light mascara and lashes and how beautiful it went with my pale skin it wasn’t too dark and it wasn’t too late it’s the perfect shade for any occasion. I wouldn’t say it’s a nude color, I guess it could be placed in the nude category but I’ve found it had more hues of browns grays purples almost like a very dry it out purple with subtle and when I say subtle I mean very subtle hints of pinks and peaches and just all sorts of colors that I can’t quite point my finger on may be a little bit of a gray but mix those all together and you get this beautiful cashmere color that goes on smooth! I love that it’s a liquid lipstick aka VELVETINE matte (so I know it won’t be coming off on my teeth, clothes, drinks or even when I’m eating greasy foods – THIS HAS STAYED PUT!) I’ll even go as far as saying it lasted one very long passionate date night with my husband 🙊🙈😂 (insert blushing emoji here)  This was actually my second time purchasing this shade, and I would definitely purchase it again and again! Limecrime has great sales from time to time so make sure to look out for that! I think they’ve rebranded their website at showing the exact color on different skin tones and even have multiple lips pictured so you have a better idea how it will look, from when it was just the same pair of lips that was always pictured in every shade! I recommend any of limecrime’s liquid velvetines as they are soft on the lips and go on very smoothly.chantal .v

I would NEVER recommend this dye to anyone. It only gets a star because it smelled nice. I got Sea Witch and it has dyed every surface my hair touches that color if the strand is wet. As soon as any water hits my hair, the color just starts running everywhere. I just put a little gel in my hair so I could braid it and my scalp has turned green again and so are my hands. My hair has been falling out more than usual after using this dye and all my towels, pillow cases, every surface in my bathroom, the sink at work, they are all covered in little hair strands that turn the counter top green. It’s infuriating. I get that washing your hair means color will come out, but I’ve NEVER had any other brand wash out like this or turn every surface it touches that color. I will never be buying it again and I’m probably going to take this color out of my hair soon. I’ve dealt with this for almost 2 weeks and it’s only getting worse. I love this brand so much. I’ve used maybe five of their colors, but the jello and chocolate Cherry are my absolute favorite ones. First off, the color penetration is excellent. If anyone out there is looking for tips, try rinsing your hair with cool water every time you wash it. Keeps the color longer and stays vibrant. The smell is a plus!!! And the price isn’t bad considering you’re getting over two more ounces of color compared to Manic Panic. I’ve been doing my hair funky colors for about twenty years now, I’ve tried literally every brand out there. I even put myself through beauty school and experimented with top notch dye, yet I still come back to this brand. I love it! I’ve got jello and cherry in my hair but I’m looking forward to trying Mochi soon, I’m excited about the grey/purple/bluish look it has. My rule of thumb is go darker and enjoy the fading process. My seven year old really wanted to color her hair but she is too young. So I found this and was like it sounds great! Washes out in one wash and is a simple spray. Well she looks super cute with the pink in her hair, however she also looked like a pink smurf! It got all over her face, neck, clothes and anything she laid on or touched with her hair! I ca!d home from work and we washed it out in 2 shampoo washes she was extremely upset but understood why. Plus in spraying her hair it got all over my gloves and not in a good way. Just used this product yesterday, so I can't speak to how long it will last, but I've seen many negative reviews about it not coming out – I hope they're right! I was hoping for a dramatic change, but since I have medium-dark brown hair, I didn't get my hopes up too much. My hair is long-ish, so normally, it takes 3 boxes of dye, but one box of this one did the trick, which was a pleasant surprise. After applying and keeping it on for about 35-40 minutes (box recommends 30, but I was worried it wouldn't take), I washed it out. I couldn't see any difference in my wet hair at first and I was sure the only thing that ended up dyed was my scalp… However, after it dried, it looked AMAZING. It has this really cool effect where it can look totally different based on how the light hits it. It ranges from a natural dark brown with a hint of red in normal indoor lighting, to a deep and vibrant red/purple in the sunlight. Plus, my hair felt great after using it! I am very happy with this product. However, I absolutely would NOT recommend it for kids or someone who just wants a "one day" thing… semi-permanent is still not temporary!Karina

I'm not quite sure how other people are using this dye with light hair, but I have natural white/platinum hair and these colorista dyes are great. I use them on clean DRY hair that's washed at least a day previously with no conditioner as conditioner forms a barrier for dye absorption, and dry hair I find absorbs better than wet. I use a dye brush and often blend different colours for slight multi tonal effect and leave for at least 30 mins with a bag over hair. The colour is always great and lasts for weeks and leaves hair lovely and conditioned. The colour fades the more it's washed and I don't use conditioner when washing either as that fades the dye quicker. Using straighteners seals the colour in more too. And that's how my colour takes really well and lasts. I've noticed these dyes are getting a little harder to get hold of so i'm hoping L'Oreal isn't phasing them out.Tina54

I bought this color for my son. We both regularly dye our hair with Manic Panic. For some reason Pillarbox red has been an absolute nightmare. It is constantly bleeding on EVERYTHING. His hoodie, bedding, pillows, shirts, my bed, seat on his bus, my car seat, my stainless steel sink, etc are all red. I would give 1 star of I didn't know and love manic panic. I have been using it for 30 years! I washed his hair 5x 2 days in a row for a total of 10 times and it is still happening. I am losing my mind. All his clothes are getting ruined. I purchased silver stiletto. I already have blonde hair but bleached it awhile back. Grew my roots out and recently rebleached those and then cleansed my hair with shampoo and no conditioner. After fully drying I used the whole bottle on my hair and it was thoroughly saturated, even rubbed it in to make sure. Covered it as instructed for thirty minutes and NOTHING! Two big light blue blotches near the ends of my hair and nothing else. Vast Majority of my hair didn't take the color. At minimum usually my hair will pick up color and keep it going for a few washes. This product is Not even worth a dollar. Don't buy this.Coralcrumbs

I bought one bottle each of Rockabilly Blue and Vampire Red. I was going for a dark reddish purple. Mixed about 3/4 red and 1/4 blue. Applied, let sit for an hour. Despite the fact that I used only 1/4 of the blue in my mix it was what stained my hands (through the gloves!), sink (where I washed the mixing bowl) and my whole shower…I was shocked but honestly I don't care much about it being stained so I shrugged and on we go. Just a bit unfortunate that my whole shower floor is blue and my porcelain sink is as well. The color however turned out beautiful. I dyed over my natural dark brown hair and it made it slightly darker but a lovely rich purple/red. Exactly what I wanted. It does bleed really badly and will stain any white/light towels, sheets, hair bands/etc you might have. Now here's where something weird comes in…since I dyed it a week ago, every day I get my hair wet in the shower it smells AWFUL. Like, I immediately thought it smelled like a Porta-John. I even asked my husband the last few days to smell my wet hair and confirm that's what is smelling so bad and yes, it's my hair! It's so strange. I tried googling to see if anyone else has had the same problem but couldn't find anything so maybe it's just me? I'm giving it three stars because my hair looks and feels great, but I'll probably never use it again due to the excessive staining/bleeding and the weird smell.Alex

I would give a five, but if I have to choose between arctic fox and ion I will choose Arctic fox. But this was back in October, and was my first time dying my entire head a bright color so I chose different shades of blue to be complimentary to my cool undertones, and I have to say, the overall result came out pretty good. It is very pigmented and it doesn't fade quickly at all. There are so many different shades to choose from which is definitely a major bonus! Alright, Summer Hair Hair, and she was a Beaute! Couldn't have asked for prettier summer hair. So what did we work with? Well, alot, let's run down the list: -Iroiro: Seafoam, Aqua, Neon Yellow (not pictured) -Ion: Cyan (mixed with Aqua) -L'OREAL Effasol Color Remover -Select Care 10 Clear Developer First, Iroiro is everything, it's about 2x better than Artic Fox at a slightly cheaper price. Ion is so-so, but man, do they have some AMAZING colors, just wish they would fix the crappy formulas. But they're cheap, so, you get what you pay for. The color remover, TOP TIER the ONLY color remover I will EVER use. I almost find it better and safer for at home use than bleach. Non-pros have to order it on Amazon, but it's worth it ladies and gentlemen. The the developer is developer. As for how long this lasted. Iroiro last the longest out of all of them. I do little to maintain longevity in my hair because I love changing it (as you can see) but so far it's been 8 weeks(?) …so try and guess which picture is the 3 week one (lol, it's not a hard guess, lol, and little secret, I have done nothing to extend it, literally nothing). ** Who am I? As someone who dyes their hair quite frequently, Manic Panic is always my go-to dye brand. So far, I have used Ultra Violet, Vampire Red (the color shown here), and Hot Hot pink. As a semi-permanent dye, it washes out quicker than permanent dyes typically do, but re-applying it when needed is super easy. Purple and pink for instance, tends to wash out quicker than red in my experience. After a week or two of washing hair daily, the purple and pink are almost completely gone. Vampire Red has seemed to last longer, however, and even after several weeks my hair is still tinted a slight pinkish-orange color unlike the other colors which leave no evidence of ever being dyed after a few weeks. To make the color last longer, I like to wash my hair and then put a shower cap on for the rest of the duration so that the water doesn't hit it the entire time, which seems to do wonders for keeping it vibrant for a little while longer. All of Manic Panics colors are super vibrant and I love that they do not have ammonia or some of the other damaging chemicals that most other dyes have. I would definitely recommend this brand for anyone who is interested in trying out a funky new do.BulldogLover

I use to love manic panic hair dye and have dyed my hair so many times with their products. However this product dyes everything it touches and I've spent many hours removing everything it has stained in the bathroom. It has unfortunately stained my entire shower as well as my skin. It's been over a week since I've dyed my hair and the dye is still bleeding on everything. I am now researching how to remove hair dye and booking myself in to the salon to remove the colour. Unfortunately due to this terrible experience I am reluctant to buy Manic Panic again. I'm aware that Manic Panic tends to bleed more than other dyes but from using their products for almost a year, I've never experienced anything like this.Charlie_09

This was the very first time I tried manic panic of any kind, and as far as the company and product itself goes, I'm definitely going to get more! Unfortunately, however, I wish they'd properly advertise how the colors will show up on brown hair. This color shows up completely green (dark green) on my hair (which is normally identical to the dark hair on the chart). Despite what I expected, the green was more than fine by me, so I added some more to my hair. If this were the only problem, I would have left 4 stars. The nice, dark, almost metallic green color left behind only lasted about 3 days afterwards. 3 days and two washes later it was virtually all gone. I know they advise bleaching to get the best color, but if they know it won't work well on darker hair, then maybe they should stop advertising it for darker hair, or at least add honest photos of how it'll actually look rather than just photoshopping a blue layer over brown hair. If I got a different color better suited for my natural hair color, there's no doubt in my mind I would leave a 5 star review for that. The product itself was very easy, left my hair soft and undamaged, and surprisingly didn't stain as badly as I expected. So bottom line, yes, I would recommend, but ONLY if your hair is light. This Clairol bleach lightener powder definitely gets the job done. The lift is great just tend to make the hair a little dried out. I typically like to use this product on bundles or enchanting more so than natural hair for the fact that it leaves my natural hair feeling a bit dry. But it definitely gives great lift so that a plus if you need a budget friendly alternative to do at home.kierra.b

I’ve used this on my roots for ages when I’m coloring my hair. I’ve also used it on friends to do balayage. It’s easy to use and the smell is mild compared to one other bleach I’ve used. I never use more than a 30 volume developer with it but the instructions say you can go higher. I do believe there are other brands that might be better but for the price and the amount you get, I can’t complain. I have very thick and long hair so this container last me for 6 months of managing my roots (I mix 2 bowls each time I need to do my roots). Like a lot of bleaches, this will give you aggressive “hot root” if you try to apply all over and process at the same time. Always do the roots last! Damage is very mild as long as I don’t go over 30 volume developer. It tones very well with any non clairol brand toner as long as it is lifted high enough. *I am not a stylist but have been experimenting with my own hair, and friends/family who trust me and acknowledge my lack of license for 10 years*josee.l

Works well and quickly. There was no damage to my hair. Having experience with this product in the smaller packets, I found it helpful to use as much or as little as I needed without waste. I would caution the inexperienced user — my favorite for bleaching and the best for your scalp. The only problem is some flaky/powdery stuff gets all over you when you are putting it in your hair, make sure you cover your clothing with a sheet or towel or wear clothing that is ok to bleach. Use with caution as this is professional quality and will damage your hair if used too frequently or applied for too long. Bleaches very well. Super affordable price too.melody.r

After having my daughter in Dec 2020 I struggled my dandruff when I never had it in my life. It was soo bad I never wanted to have my hair down I was VERY subconscious about it. I wasn’t sure what product to use I was using other daily shampoo and was making my hair fall out like crazy and dandruff was still VERY bad! Then I came across this shampoo and I started using it the day I bought it haven’t seen as much flakes as before then my 2nd time using it no flakes were really visible. I’ve had to use this for most of my life due to hereditary dry scalp, and sensitive scalp. I’ve used many other medicated shampoos, but nothing has worked as well as this one. The scent is very strong, but works great to keep my scalp healthy and it doesn’t irritate it. Fortunately, I’m able to use any conditioner of my choice, for the most part. I tried many anti-dandruff products and nothing worked for me except Selsun. The blue colour combination with mild scent is good for people like me who don't like extra smelly. I use twice weekly and I should say after 2nd week, I started to see much improvement with my hair with reduction in scalp dandruff. This is literally the only shampoo I can use on my scalp. If I don’t use it, super itchy scalp and so much dandruff us back but when im consistently using it, scalp is in amazing health. I hated the smell at first but its something im used to now and it reminds me of Irish soap. If I want to use my smell good shampoo then I do my first rinse with this shampoo (2 rinses with selsun if theres a lot if build up) and then I go in with my smell good shampoo and conditioner. I saw this product on my IG feed that is was available at my local grocery store and was curious. I colored my hair purple back in July and recolored it maybe a month later. I tried a few color deposit shampoos from big brands such as ion (which left my hair more neon with a pink undertone) and even tried making my own color deposit by mixing semi permanent color with sulfate free shampoo and conditioner (which it does work). However, when I found this product and tried it, none of the other products stood a chance next to No Fade Fresh! Holy cow I was IMPRESSED! The color is extremely pigmented, the consistency is a bit thin, and the smell is just meh for me but it works! It does dry my hair out but I just put a leave in conditioner afterwards and it’s fine. This product works so well that my daughter wanted to try it out. She had some blue left over in her hair that faded to a green and some blonde highlights and when we added the purple it completely changed her look in a good way! It turned her blue/green into a dark blue/purple and her blonde into a purplish magenta making her hair look like a galaxy! It was so awesome looking! The color even remained in her hair after washing it and not reapplying. To say I’m impressed is an understatement! Because of this product I may continue to stay purple for awhile. I have problems covering some grey/white hairs. I tried to use other root color touch-up products. Never improve to cover my grey/white hairs until I use this product. Last the haircolor for 1 or 2 days. Only con about this root touch-up spray if sprayed hard, the forehead and hands gets stained. However, once it stained it's easy to remove the mess. This tint kit is everything! I used to get my eyebrows tinted every time I would get them threaded and it would come out being extremely costly. Now that I have found this tint kit, I tint them at home and then go and get them threaded after. The tint looks just as good as when it’s done professionally, and it is super cost-effective. Each box comes with 20 “pills” of color that you’ll see in the photo, along with a mixing pot, brush, and developer. It’s super easy to use and you only leave it on for a couple minutes. You break open the color “pill” into the pot, add some developer, mix (I use the back of the brush), and apply following the natural shape of your brow. I have thick brows but the color is lighter than my hair, and they’re not super full so you can see some sparse parts. I use the natural black color, and I’ve posted a before and after photo so you can see the change. You’ll notice that your skin will also tint, but that’ll go away after a few washes. I bought the light brown kit for my mom because her brows have whites in them, and the color is not only beautiful but it covers the whites like a charm. I buy mine on Amazon. Too messy to use. Takes way longer than expected. Mixing cup is extremely tiny. Powder spills over when mixing in the activator. Seems watery. Makes a mess of your brow area after coloring as the application brush leaves you with a lot of unwanted color on your skin around your brows. Having to apply vaseline to prevent this is from happening is another pain-in-the-neck step one would have to take in order to avoid this from happening. The product itself does not adhere easily to the brow hairs that you wish to tint. One must glob on the product continuously. Not happy with this product.Theresa

This product worked great at dying my eyebrows. Very happy to find this product. I got the kit with 4 applications that come in tiny pills in powder form, you mix equal parts with the activator gel that comes in a small tube and apply to your brows for just 1-2 minutes and simply wipe away. But my complaint and reason for the 3 stars is because it says it's medium brown and I got black eyebrows in which is really disappointing. I am posting a picture of my results using the "medium brown" tint kit. I now plan to get the light brown next time. It shows no brown in the color whatsoever so I'm wondering if they didn't misplace capsules and accidentally give me black. Other than that, it does what it says and the kit comes with everything you need except for vasaline to put around on your skin which I prefer to do so I don't dye my skin. This oil has saved my dead ends, it makes my hair so soft, smell so good and has a beautiful shine. It's really helped revive my damaged hair. Growing up I was always taught to use drug store shampoo conditioner, I had never used anything different or tried any hair oils or masks and where I live we have hard water and it's really taken a toll on my hair over the years. So I started using better shampoo, hair oils, masks treatments and got a shower filter and it's really helped so much. I've tried a couple oils and since using this one I've really noticed a difference. I also have oilyish hair and I thought hair oils would weigh down my hair and make it feel greasy and some that I've tried have but this one doesn't and you don't need much of it. I have super straight, super fine, super blonde, color treated hair. Most of my life I’ve had very short cuts (pixies and the like) because I never learned how to manage long hair – I was also a teen in the 90s when V05 hot oil was about as good as hair care products got. For my hair texture that just wasn’t ok because it weighed me down and made me look like an utter greasy mess. The past few years I’ve been growing it out just to see how it goes in the modern era with modern hair care products (I feel like some time-traveling Victorian) and was borderline ready to chop it because I still couldn’t figure out how to not make it look like a crazy wild mane of flyaways and snarlballs right about when Covid hit. So I had to suck it up and figure something out. I gave this a try after reading reviews and I’m SO glad I did. My hair looks shiny and glossy and full without even a hint of grease and all of the flyaways are tamed. It’s like photoshop for your hair. And oh MY is it soft! There’s no gooey, sticky residue (I even like how moisturizing it is on my hands afterwards), and I use a pump all over when wet, and another half pump on my ends when dry. Also, I have to mention the scent. I have a hard time with heavy smells, especially on my head since I work out daily which means scents get hyper-activated with sweat. I was worried that the scent would be too much, but it’s light and really clean. I used to use Lush R&B on my ends during the winter which I loved the smell of (it’s too heavy to use year round) but I actually like the smell of this even better. It’s lighter and fresher, and dare I say invigorating? Anyway. Yeah. I still can’t braid or curl or style my hair (I wish this did that for me too!) but at least I look like less of a basketcase and I can get a brush through it now!LizHal

I bought this because a hair oil I used for years stopped being sold, and I used to love Moroccan oil in high school. I have very long hair (it's at the small of my back and I'm 5'7"). It's kind of a light-brown/dark-blonde with a hint of red, moderately dense, but the individual hairs are mostly fine and prone to both dry ends and oily mid-lengths. I always use a curl cream and a hair oil to bring out my waves and keep it soft. My last oil treatment had water as the first ingredient and my hair absolutely loved it. What I liked: A little goes a very long way. Tipping the bottle quickly to coat my fingertip was enough for my wet hair (plus a bit less on the ends when dry). It smells amazing, definitely lived up to my memory of that dreamy Moroccan oil smell. As soon as I applied it, my hair felt wonderfully silky and easy to run my fingers through. After I let it air dry as usual, my mid-lengths were very soft, and even the dead ends felt a little nicer to touch (I really needed a haircut when I tried it). The shine is absolutely incredible! It was glossy all the way to the ends, and didn't make my mid-lengths stringy/oily looking (I use Sebastian dark oil now, and need to be a lot more careful with how much I apply or it gets stringy). I got so many compliments on how shiny my hair was the next day. What I didn't like: The first use was amazing, but after i used it for a couple weeks my hair started to feel heavy and hung straighter. It was still shiny, but looked less full and the ends were getting more dry over time. Ultimately, I think having silicone as a first ingredient makes hair oils too heavy for me (though I've yet to find another with water first). I consider this to be more like "hair makeup". If I was going to an event I would 100% use again for the amazing glossy look and intoxicating smell. It doesn't really make hair healthier or moisturized though, so be cautious if you plan to use it after every wash. Definitely need a good clarifying shampoo.pastelorange

Fantastic product!!! It's not the cheapest on the market but it's definitely worth investing in. 60ml bottle will last you for long time. I bought this when I had hair extensions and even though they are a lot now, I keep using this because nothing compares to it. When I style my hair with off the shelf serum the hairstyle lasts a day .. this serum is so good, only takes a little pinch so a lot little goes a long way and my blow dry ALWAYS turns out good and has staying power. Normally my style will last for 4 days. If you have real hair extensions nothing works better and detangling your hair and keeping it that waytherealpricey

I received this product and in return Moroccanoli protect and prevent spray asked for my honest review. I have to say I usually don't like a lot of docent products because it leaves my hair feeling oily, heavy and greasy. But Moroccanoil protect and prevent spray left my hair feeling light weight, shiny and smelling fresh! I just really couldn't get enough of this product so I basically used it throughout the day. This is a must have product. I even bought a smaller spray bottle and have it in my purse. Everytime I went to the bathroom just a few spritz's and I'm on my way. I received this as a free sample and liked it so much after completing this review I am purchasing the full size product. I have dark brown wavy hair past my shoulders and live in the midsouth where it is extremely humid. And extremely hot. My hair is dyed and I spend most days running between court, my office and the prison ( full Sun). So I worry about my color fading and most days I resemble ms. Frizzle from the magic school bus by about 1pm. This spray has helped tremendously. My sleek pony tail stays sleek and doesn’t go “full Shetland pony” as my coworker lovingly termed it. I have noticed my roots especially near my ears do seem to be retaining color better ( don’t expect miracles but I would say I’ve added an extra week to ten days between colorings). I love this stuff. It gently holds my hair the way a best friend would after a long night out. It smells great and my hair still looks nice the next day. My hair is not thin, but not thick either – somewhere in the middle. As it got longer it started to weigh more so I ended up with very flat hair, which also gets greasy very quickly. Instead of sacrificing my long locks, however, I did my research on hair products and found this gem. Absolutely amazing. I cannot even begin to tell you how fresh your hair feels after you spray it, and the volume is just amazing. My flatmate even asked me if I’ve changed my hairstyle, because “there’s DEFINITELY more volume”. Moreover, it stays big and bouncy ALL day long! Ive been using this product for several years after being recommended by my hairdresser. It is an excellent product which gently gives shape to the hair when blow dried, leaving it conditioned and shiny without any stickiness.
