Much like American Crew's Fiber, this product is high hold and made for short hair (about 1-3 inches in length). It's one of my favorite products to use after haircuts when my hair is short. Molding Clay differs from the Fiber because it has a shine. It will give something closer to a "gel/wet" look, but without hardening and the product remains malleable so you can restyle throughout the day (hence a "greasy" feel as opposed to the "sticky" feel of the Fiber). If you have hair that's longer than about 3 inches, the product will likely feel too greasy (just as Fiber feels too sticky in longer hair). You gotta know your styling products – they're not made for a one-fits-all length/style. I've never had an issue washing it out. All American Crew products I've tried are water-based and wash out easily.
I've tried a number of American Crew products and this one just doesn't work for me. It has less hold than the pomade, in my opinion, and leaves my hair looking greasy to the point that it looks like I've worked out and didn't shower afterwards. Honestly, it works so poorly that I wonder if I somehow got a fake product instead of the real thing… The smell is nice though! It's got a pleasant minty scent that I find enjoyable.A

I have a blonde beard and have had some gray/white spots that have appeared in recent years. So I thought I’d try this out. I got the product for blond beards and followed the directions to a T. I (like many others) use this on my eyebrows and absolutely love it!! It is so easy to use and super easy to undo any mistakes. Just exfoliate the skin if you accidentally get it somewhere you didn't want. I would recommend doing it for a c ok hope minutes (3 or so) and wiping it off with a baby wipe and letting the color sit for a minute before reapplying if it's not as dark as you want. At least until you get a feel for how long you want it on and how dark you want your brows. I have very light and sparse brows but I think because this product is meant for grey stubborn hair, it comes out darker than I had expected. I used the light to medium brown and my brows come out damn near black! So be careful! I would also recommend using a concealer or thick foundation to outline your brows so you get the shape you want and you don't dye your skin. It does fade a little over the next couple days too. Until I tried this beard oil (I got the sample kit first), I really confused by this idea of beard oil. Why the heck would I intentionally want to put oil *in* any hair, let alone my beard?! I was drawn to this razor after shopping for quite a while. Good for both men and women. I like that it is light weight, the exterior material is soft and comfortable and will not slip from your hand. The balance of the unit is fanominal. The on/off button is a soft touch, the unit is quite and has a low frequency vibration. Over all I really like the unit. For younger people with taught skin it would be a 5 star product. But for those of us who are staring to age and have some sagging skin and use a blade cover, pulling to make skin taught, you tend to get harsh nicks, especially on the curves of your body. If Philips makes a unit that would address the problem I described I would Love to sample the unit. I chose this to replace a really old QG3364/42. I needed something with more power and could hold a decent charge. I chose the MG5750/90 because of price. With a coupon code, it was less than thirty-five dollars with free shipping. Right off the bat, I was impressed with the grippy handle. Not that my old trimmer was slippery, but this new trimmer gave me a little more confidence when holding it. It felt more solid and well built than I was used to. The motor is stronger than my old trimmer, as well as smoother, and because the mechanism doesn't rattle, just a bit quieter. This trimmer cuts my hair much easier even though it'll take some time getting used to the new guards as I haven't figured out how to get even cuts yet. When trimming at the corners of the mouth or other tough places, it can be hard to get even hair in tough spots. The only disappointing thing is there is no charge indicator light. I'd gotten used to having that featuring and didn't realize this trimmer didn't have it when I ordered it. It's not a deal breaker just something that could be on even the most basic trimmers. Other than missing a charge indicator, this is a good trimmer. It's not perfect, but I'd buy it again.bigbearsfan
This is really the best trimmer I've had. The main reason is that it doesn't cut nor hurt you while trimming. I trim my beard with it at 0.5mm, meaning without any guard. For my hair, I use 12mm and 16mm guards and the guards are solid, and cutting my hair works great without issues nor uneven cuts. It's compact and easy to hold, with rubber. It's very reliable and always works well. I bought the Philips series 7000 Hair Clipper because I wanted guards that reach higher than 16mm and the 7000 has a guard that goes to 28mm. I'm not referring to multigroom 7000 but the hair clipper series. So this 7000 still isn't as good as my multigroom 5000 as the blades are way too sharp and cut and hurt my neck so much while trimming without a guard, and I get uneven hair cuts as the guards are adjustable and not as solid. No issue with 5000 multigroom. Just wish it went to 25mm+. Okay, there's no light to let you know when to recharge or while recharging but the battery lasts so many hours. I once tried to drain it and 3 and a half hours later it was still running, and it wasn't fully charged. You just have to charge it for minimum an hour and you'll know it's fully charged. Easy, not complicated like some are making it to be. Fussy people. Plug it in, go about your day, come back and it's charged. Like every other device out there. The only thing is I wish it was waterproof just to be able to wash it all as it would be faster to clean. The head/blade is waterproof at least. The series 7000 is waterproof. But, this is the one I bought 3 and a half years ago or 4 and a half, I forget, and it still works great today, August 2022.Ramouz

Just purchased this product, I would not recommend this product is you have very thick or coarse hair (which I unfortunately have), it will more then likely make your hair tough to work with and dries up pretty quickly, not much of moveable product in the hair, how it sets is how it will look basically. The smell is nice, similar to a lotion, it has very little shine and not greasy which I liked. Overall it holds your hair and does a decent job but I much prefer to the Clay pomade for thick hair.Michael

Ok, I'm a guy and I'm apparently vain. I got this because my hair was graying badly and I wanted to look younger. So on a whim I bought this thinking it probably wouldn't do much. Boy was I wrong. I applied it to my hair (and, I know they make a separate product but I put this on my mustache as well) and when you put it on it doesn't look like it's going to do much. I waited the ten minutes it said and got in the shower to rinise it out. When I got back out and looked in the mirror, I was stunned. My hair was back to it's dark brown color, as well as my mustache. Imagine my surprise when I looked into the mirror and found I looked 10 years younger. .I normally use wella because having tried JFM hair color in the past I did not like the results really dried my hair out and kind of look like shoe polish , since this was a new version thought I would give it a try this is a major improvement it is a very deep black just so you know but looks natural and did not dry my hair out also it does not fade out like wella does . I keep my hair short so did not need the whole tube sealed it for the next time not sure if it will work as this is air activated. ACTUALLY WORKS!!! I have hair to my hips and noticed significant thinning within the past 6 months or so. I started using these vitamins after being told about them by not one, but TWO dermatologists out of separate offices where I have gotten my routine skin checks. I went ahead and tried it despite the hefty price tag (about $80 per bottle which is a one month supply). The bottle contains 120 capsules, so four pills a day. According to the label the potency is so high that I went ahead and started using half of the recommended dose, or two pills a day instead of four. Since I have acne prone skin I didn’t want to take an excessive amount of biotin which can make my acne worse (and deeper). Just two pills a day for almost one month and I have baby hairs growing back where my hairline has been receding! It’s incredible! Pills are easy to swallow, great ingredients with no clean fillers. I will continue to use for at least the next six months to decide if I should continue, depending on regrowth or thickness which will hopefully come back. You have to use it very sparingly for it to appear natural. Lots of applying and removing and applying again to get the right effect. Unfortunately doesn't last all day and can appear smudged by the end of the evening. It is much better than Just for Men beard dye though, and if used for touch ups the product can last a few months. i purchased this product thinking well its inexpensive so why not give it a go. it was well worth it, personaly i think less is more with this, using a little it hides some of the grey and dosent look false. it lasts for a few days is easy to apply and remove. my wife says it makes me look ten years younger, i defenately recommend this product and will be purchasing more soon.banditscutter

I started growing a beard about 4 years ago I initially used just for men dye and tried a few other dyes but I always got a harsh reactions on my face and had to stop using them! I've been using this product for several months. When I first began, I was buying it in the store, but at $50 a pop. these things are too expensive for the average user, especially given, it typically takes several months to know if this will regrow hair in the individual user and there's no guarantee of that, even a year or any length of time into it. Because of the length of the program, and the price involved, this basically forced someone of my income level to go hunting down discount deals online. I found several and that's the only reason I've been able to continue the program; had this only been available in retail stores, the price would definitely have kept me from continuing the program. Another caveat: you need to buy other things to supplement this product, which many don't know until they buy it and get info. later. Particularly, you must buy the hair and scalp serum as well as the shampoo and conditioner to expect the results advertised on the box. You could see how this all adds up to a lot of money over six months or longer. The good news? My hair has mostly stopped falling it just a short time using it, although a few months in, when I didn't have the products for just a few weeks, I noticed a fair amount starting to fall out again pretty quickly. My hair has grown much faster than normal while taking this. It took about 4 months, before I really saw the difference in the thickness in my hair. However, I do have to wear my hair tight and pulled back for work, so the results might have come sooner than I realized. Then, even my boyfriend noticed how much thicker it was! I am about 6 months in taking these tablets & there's definitely no denying it now. I am very satisfied with this purchase. I haven't been able to get results like this from any other product. I also noticed that my hair doesn't fall out when I bathe anymore like it use to prior to finding this product. This is not a review about the product because my husband has used it for years. This is a review about the condition of the contents. The top corners of the foil packets look as though they were "chewed" by something! The outer packaging was intact, as was the mailing envelope, and the blister packs were not disturbed. But to see something that looks like "chew marks" is very disconcerting, and I question whether or not we should even use the contents? A comment to Walmart went unanswered. Very disappointed.Joyce
