I truly love love this hair. I believe it's the best synthetic wig I have. It's manageable, soft. The hair is better than what I thought it was going to be. I've used semi de Lino for 15 years and love it. I have naturally curly hair that tends to frizz in the Louisiana humidity and this product is a must to fight it. I put 3-4 squirts in my palm and rub my hands together before shaking them through my hair. I use it on my hair after I have dried and flat ironed it. It leaves my hair shiny and whispy looking. I have been using this hair oil for several years due to its non-sticky nature that I looked for. Other oils were sticky and so my hairs mass looked small. However, after using it regularly for several years, I lost so many hairs and existing hairs became so thin that my scalp was mostly visible. It never happened to me before and I did not expect it to happen after using so expensive hair oil. Also, its oily nature dries in an hour and so hair remain dry for rest of the day. I also had dryness in my scalp along with loss of hair. I have stopped it and started regular hair oils and now the body of my hair have thickened and my scalp is not visible as it was before. It was money spent without any benefits. I do not recommend it at all. Just use regular hair oils that are a available at much less price. I received my latest AIA beauty bundle box of Truss products! I opened up the Night Spa product and it is amazing. I tried a sample on the ends of a patch of hair and left it on for 8 hours. I can feel the difference in that patch of hair from the rest! This smells so good you almost want to eat it. Lol Even my husband said the products do not smell like chemicals. I originally got this because I read about how castor oil makes your hair grow faster. I don't think it's made any difference in my hair growth, but it sure does make it soft and shiny! The first time I used it I didn't dilute it with another oil and ended up ripping a bunch of hair out because it's so thick. Learn from my mistake! Mix it with some olive oil and apply, cover, and leave it in overnight. Wash it out the next morning and be amazed by your silky hair! I usually do a treatment once every other week, I could see it weighing down your hair if you use it too often or don't get it all out in the shower. For those of you with sensitivities do a patch test for a few days before using, some people can be allergic. I was gifted by Aveda E-comm and I have fine thin Asian hair and never have volume. I'm always looking for the right hair product that doesn't make my hair heavy, oily (oily scalp here), no strong fragrances, and perfect for everyday.. I have been loving this new Aveda Thickening Foam! It has a slight scent kind of herbal like and depending on your hair type, you can use 3-5 pumps. Lightweight and dissolves quickly into damp hair (as suggested). I blow dry (never style because I can't style hair to save my life) and it is very voluminous! I love the scent does dissipate so you don't smell it all day. Simple push pump for the foam and it works! It gives me a nice level of volume but not too crazy! Totes recommend!Katie H

I bought this product hoping it would thickening my hair-not so much, still waiting for the magic. What I really want to review and share is that you should NOT take this product on an airplane (checked luggage). I packed my 5 oz. bottle for a work trip (I wrapped it in a plastic bag as is habit) and when I got to my hotel, the bag was filled with product and dripping, the bottle had leaked and soaked/stained some of my clothes. I figured it was my error. When I packed to go home, I made sure the bottle was twisted shut, cap on and secured and put it in another bag x 2. The bottle leaked again on the flight home. I know this is a new product but I think they need to reevaluate the packaging. I was told this product wasn't available in travel size but I see today that a travel size is now available. I'm still waiting for the product to do something fabulous for my hair and if that happens, I may consider buying the travel size and carrying it on the plane/not checking it in my luggage.mngurl

AMAZING HAIR GEL! It has amazing hold and smells delicious and a little goes a very very long way. Dries fast but you still have enough time to lay your hair in the position you want. However, i think if there was a big tub available to buy , that would be so so helpfulbenie.l

I've been searching for years for a gel that keeps my middle aged head of hair looking full without that cheap shiny look. Hairspray just didn't have the holding power and would get sticky during the day no matter what premium brand I tried. My barber in Florida recommended this to me and I'm hooked for life. GiGi is great brand. I've always used (+10 years) their jar of wax, strip-free, and although a bit messy, I've learned to use it, almost hassle-free. I didn't care for this style of waxing…personal choice; however, I'd recommend others to at least try it. See if it works for them… It's a good price and was worth the experiment for me, anyway. So I am used to waxing my own eyebrows, however, because of a recent deployment, I was not able to bring my Gigi waxer along. I found these on amazon and decided to give them a try. They are for sensitive skin and worked great! I give them 4 stars only because I had to also tweeze my eyebrows a little bit more than usual and because you have to rub them to warm them up. These are easy to use and work well for stubborn chin hair. The instructions are straighforward and I like that the kit also comes with lotion for you to wipe off any extra wax. It did take 5 passes to remove all the visible chin hair from one side of my face, and just one pass for the other side. So I can see that results may vary. I’ve only used this once. I love this Brand Big Sexy Hair. I naturally have thin/fine hair that lacks body and all of their products always give me volume. Ive never tried this Root pump product but I’m really happy I did. It’s a volumizing mousse spray that is kind of like a hair spray/mousse mix. It definitely gives my hair body and texture especially at the roots. This brand is pretty expensive, but they do have a lot of products at TJ Maxx at discounted prices which is why I purchased it. Definitely love Big Sexy hair!lisa.f

I’m always looking for volume and bought the deluxe trial size to give it a go. This gets rave reviews, but I wasn’t impressed. It’s a foam product that is applied to damp hair at the roots. It requires a lot of babysitting, whether you blow dry (I do not, unless it’s absolutely necessary for a quick look) or air dry. A lot of brushing is required and I just didn’t get results. I do not recommend and I’m glad I got the small size.candy.a

It gave my hair noticeable volume doesn’t have a super strong scent, but I had to return. It left my color treated hair feeling very dry brittle. Maybe I was using too much, but I’ve used Color WOW’s volumizing mousse with the same amount that made my hair soft. This one would also get my hair stuck in my round brush when blow drying left my hair very frizzy due to the grit it gives your hair. If you’re okay with that then this product is great for volume, but I’m not a fan of my hair feeling dry frizzycallie.h

I absolutely love this product. I was looking for a cleaner product to use before blow drying my hair. The packaging came great. It was shrink wrapped so I didn’t leak in the shipment. The composition of the product is a little thicker than a serum closer to that of a gel. I needed to use it very little and it spread quite nicely. It added moisture to my hair and did not seem to negatively affect my scalp. I am sensitive to a lot of products and this one was Not irritating in anyway. This product was even better than I expected. First of all, it makes my hair smell magnificent. It is like I sprayed some expensive perfume with pleasant flowery scent. I didn't approve or ask for this shade! I got starry black. I'm a natural blonde. In order for me to achieve black hair that doesn't turn green after the 1st wash,I would have to do a filler color first like a medium brown. I don't want to put all those chemicals on my hair. Plus I don't want black hair! I DID NOT USE THIS! I have used feria in the past though, I have used their bleaching kit and their auburn, red and black cherry shades. It is the only box dye I will use. It not only has an essential oil you add to it for a better smell but it also helps the hair feel softer and more hydrated as well as look shiny and healthy, well as healthy as dyed hair can look. For a box dye it's not bad. If I had gotten a color I approved of I totally would have used it! My daughter has medium golden brown hair and has been debating allowing me to use this on her. Ive used this brand of hair dye since the very first time I dyed my hair at age 15 and its always been my favorite. Ive tried other brands through out the years but nothing looks as intense or lasts as long as this brand does. The last year or so ive been using the power violets collection and they're so beautiful! I love how intense the color comes out and it doesnt strip my hair at all. Along with the products to dye your hair they also include a shampoo and conditioner which make my hair so super soft and shiny! I wish I could buy it in full size bottles but I dont think they make it. These dyes do have a strong scent you need to use them in well ventilated spaces. I usually have a fan going to help with air circulation. After using this dye I don't experience any bleeding of color on my skin or clothes. The color lasts for months on me before it really starts to fade. For reference I wash my hair once or twice a week. (But I shower more then that lol) I dye my hair around every 3-4 months. I have being dying my hair bright, vibrant red for just over five years now, and Arctic Fox has been part of my color maintenance routine since day one. Vibrant red hair is not easy to maintain and keep from fading quickly, which can very quickly do serious damage to your hair if your only using ammonia-based chemical dyes every time you need to refresh your color. Arctic Fox doesn't damage hair at all. In fact, it helps undue the damage caused by permanent dyes because it doesn't have any harsh chemicals that strip hair. Arctic Fox is actually GOOD for your hair and works just like a conditioner, not like a hair dye. I add Arctic Fox to my regular conditioner (sulfate free of course) so that every time I wash my hair I'm also keeping my red looking vibrant and even healthier every time. I always wash my hair using the coolest water I can tolerate and after I shampoo I apply my premixed bottle of 3/4 sulfate free conditioner, 1/4 Arctic Fox Wrath + a dollop of Violet Dream and let it sit on my hair secured on top of my with a claw clip while I finish the rest of my shower routine, just like I would do with a nourishing hair mask. Once my routine is done, I rinse out my hair thuroughly in cool water and towel dry it only so I get the most out of conditioning my hair, and viola! My looks, feels softer and healthier than before I washed it, plus my red still looks like it did the day I first day I dyed it. It's a win win. Not only does Artic Fox keep my red looking great, but it leaves my hair healthier every time also. Plus the custom colors you can create by mixing different different Arctic Fox colors together are endless! I was amazed at the color i got by mixing Purple AF + a touch of Aquamarine! It sounds crazy to mix aquamarine and deep purple together, but the color came out a multidimensional dark blue/purple-ish color that changes color depending on how the light hits it. It's my new favorite color! It does come out very dark, so I apply it (no conditioner added) to the bottom 1/3 of my hair and lightly pull the color upwards into my red to get a perfect blended fade from bright red to deep blue/purple. I have virgin dirty blonde hair. I bought the shade Transylvania which is a pure black color. I applied it last night to my clean hair, no products or nothing in it and let it sit in foil for about 40 minutes. I didn't apply the dye to my whole head, I just wanted to add pieces here and there throughout my hair like I've done in the past. Upon rinsing my hair out with cold water and letting it dry I noticed how faded the black looks. In the shower the water ran blue. I know black dyes typically contain blue but this was like a vibrant blueish green. In artificial lighting the dye in my hair looks like a dark grey, but in the natural sunlight it looks like a greyish green which isn't very pretty at the moment. I'm going to give it one more go before I decide whether or not to return this. I usually LOVE arctic fox dyes and have never had issues before but this black dye really needs to be reformulated.Jen

I love this this product! Finally something that does NOT make my hair more frizzy, crunchy, dry or greasy. I have fine to medium curly long hair, I am of Eastern European descent. I just use a very small amount like directions advised, worked it into my wet hair, scrunched it with my hands and let air dry. My hair is sooo soft, no frizz and my curls are defined. I have been searching for a natural product without chemicals that actually works. I love it! It also has a tropical fragrance that is not overwhelming and smells so good! I found this product yearssss ago when I first started the Curly Girl Method. It was very runny, white and much lighter. I ended up repurchasing it and when I opened it, it is incredibly yellow and thick and the ingredient list is completely different. I don't use it everyday to care but in general, Shea Moisture was my Go To absolutely favorite brand and I used their shampoo and conditioner for about 8 years- but I noticed it a couple of months ago stripped my hair and caused an insane amount of frizz. What a shame. I will never buy another Shea Moisture product. They used to have amazing ingredients, now they have all weird chemicals and the smells changed badly. OK there aren't that many styles that come in ALL Paula Young colors but Abby does. This is where customer reviews are helpful too, because I doubt I would have picked this style without them. It looks a little too poufy for me, but can be combed down into more of a long boy style ( I hate when they are called Pixies–I didn't want to be a PIxie when I was 6 let alone at 60!) Best features: natural looking front with decent bangs/ fantastic Whisperlite fiber. Not as good: Long somewhat messy back ( I prefer a neat, stacked back –think Penny or Jaycee) but you can't beat the color selection. I absolutely wanted a Salt and Pepper wig, don't know why more styles aren't offered. But I have to admit now that I have it, color #38 the Ash Brown with gray may be better for me. I was born a very dark brunette but now my hair is colored to a dead match for Pecan Delight, but it is too warm for me, and I have to give it up and go gray. Tired of the upkeep and I always said I wouldn't be the old lady with too dark hair! ( But I didn't count on a Pandemic which has had me cutting my own hair in the bathroom for 3 years!) I have worn Color Me Exquisite (51) for years!! Always knew when I bought a new wig exactly what it would look like when I put it on. As a Selfie Gift I recently purchased 2 of these wigs for the new year. I was shocked when I put it on my head that the style has completely changed. They have added hair to the crown area and taken away hair on the sides and back. The older style allowed a slight flip in the back and sides. Now I have to pull and pull to even get it over my ears!! But I am stuck! Pulled the tags off already because I knew they'd be wonderful. I checked the # and the size…all the same I'd used before. I know changes happen to save money, but I am extremely disappointed that this wig I have loved for so long and received so many compliments on…no longer meets those expectations. After 30+ years of enjoying Paula Young wiglets and wigs very thankfully I have to say that I am extremely disappointed with my recent Colleen purchase! I have purchased Many Colleen wigs, But last one has defeated me.The neckline does not seem to be cut properly. And I have to constantly tug on it to keep my own now totally white hair covered. Since I use your 51/60 Color as a rule, there shouldn’t be a problem. I did not return it because Iwore it several Days before I was told of the problem by a friend, and because I bought it on sale and Find that frequently the $36.95 wigs are not perfect, Thjs last one has No curl or wave – It’s perfectly straight! I had blond balayage done to my hair and that damaged it. I read the reviews about this product, most good and a mixture of bad. When I saw the bad reviews talking about hair snapping off, I thought it was just due to the persons hair being so damaged and thought I'd give it a try. Well my hair started snapping off, every single day, some pieces long and ranging to tiny specks of hair. I have had my hair damaged horribly in the past to the point it took forever to dry and leaving burnt coarse ends. My hair did have a few areas of burnt ends but not as severe as previous experiences. So I kept using the treatment products and it kept raining pieces of my hair throughout the day. I've never had this happen even with extremely damaged hair. Sure pieces broke off but nothing like this. When the pieces snapped initially I thought it was due to the damaged ends. But then it never stopped. Smooth bits about a quarter inch kept shedding off. I couldn't wear dark shirts without constantly wiping hair bits off of it. After about a month I believed the reviews and stopped using the products. My hair slowly started snapping off less and less but I'm not sure if it was because the majority was already gone. So now my hair is varied lengths and extremely thinned out due to the different lengths it broke off. I'm not saying this product isn't good or bad because a lot of people love it but I strongly suggest not using this product if you have bleach damage without consulting your hair stylist first or having a treatment of some type done professionally. Before getting my hair to the shade it is now, I had several appointments slowly lightening my hair over roughly 6 months with hair treatments in between to maintain the health. I will never use this product again. And the snapping people comment about is real and with extreme hair thinning.Lisa R

I was someone who used to think that nothing could actually repair the bonds of your hair from the inside, especially because it went against everything I ever learned in cosmetology school, but that was 30 years ago and technology has changed, the proof is in the chemistry. I completely clarified my hair and then started using only Olaplex products exclusively. I used the entire line as recommended for damaged hair for 4 months, including number one in my hair color touch ups, and now I am a firm believer that it really does repair bonds as they claim because there is no other explanation for the positive change in my mid back length, color treated, and highlighted hair. I went from dull hair that was always tangled and broke so easily, to much healthier, shiny, soft, full hair. Despite having a lot of hair, it's very fine and before Olaplex, I could never achieve fullness without using a ton of product which was counterproductive. Usually conditioners, treatments, and masks, would weigh my hair down, but not Olaplex, it gives me the natural fullness I want without any styling product or weighing my hair down. And their purple shampoo, I can't say enough good things about it either! It is super concentrated so you need only the tiniest bit for the best results and the fact that the other products help color last longer, you don't need to use it as often as other toning shampoos, but when they say leave it on no more than two minutes, they mean it! If you use too much or leave it in too long, it will tint your hair rather than just tone it. The only Olaplaex product I don't use is the oil. Other than that, they would have to pry Olaplex from my hands. I highly recommend the entire line and starting with completely clarified hair prior to starting and use Olaplex exclusively for a few months to achieve the best results. I have never written a review on any product I have taken in the past but I must write a review on this product. I chose this product because of the ingredients and the reviews. I have been taking 3 tablets a day for 3 months. My hair is coming in SOOO thick looking it’s amazing! My friends, family and hairdresser all wanted to know WHAT I was doing. My hairdresser took the info for her clients. Now several of them are on it and having great results. Within a month to 6 wks I had tiny hairs coming in everywhere. The new length is over an inch now. I can’t wait to see how this will be in 3-6 mo more. It’s shiny and in great condition. I highly recommend this product!Loreen H.

I must admit I did not read the product description well when I ordered this product… I thought it was a "topical" form of medication similar to other products and found that it was in pill form. After opening the bottle the pills had an odor that frankly made me turn away. I then tried to read and decipher the ingredients and that didn't help me or convince me either to swallow a pill. The instructions say to take 2 pills in the morning and 1 pill in the evening and the bottle contains 90, which would be a one month supply. Also in the instructions are fotos of successful hair growth after 90 days, which would require three bottles total. Reading further this product is apparently aimed at women with no mention of men or illustrations of men anywhere. Bottom line for me, I'm not the right person to try or review this product, there isn't enough supplied for a trial, and it would be difficult for me to actually ingest these pills. I imagine as well that in order to maintain improved hair quality and growth I would need to continue using it forever. Sorry for taking up your time, this just might be the best product of its kind. I strongly recommend the manufacturer use wording AND illustrations on the packaging denoting that this is primarily a product for women… and doing something about the pill's odor.1923ModelT

I’ve been taking the chewable tablets for about 4 months now and have shared the word on how much these have worked. I have never managers to throw my hair past a certain length and now my hair is longer than ever before.
