I wouldn't recommend buying the Tropic Isle Living Black Castor Oil product from them. Although it arrived in a perfect time and great packaging, it was not any good. I have been using this for two to three weeks and so far I like it. It is lightweight but effective. You can smell a 'slight' hint of sulfur with a bit of sweetness. I apply this at night before going to sleep and it does not bother me at all. This gives me a light cooling effect. It helps with my dry, itchy scalp. My only complaint is that the lid is not easy to take off so for someone with severe arthritis in their hands this will not be easy, hence four stars. Even though I have a time getting the lid off I highly recommend this Gro Grease. It is worth purchasing.Sunshine

I have very dry skin and porous (brittle) Type 4C hair. I used to use another product to grease my scalp, however the ingredients in the old product that I used to use were (mostly) petroleum, mineral oil and lanolin. The ingredients in the old product that I used to use just sat on my scalp and stopped my scalp from being dry, but did not have any additional benefits (in my humble opinion). I switched to this product two years ago after hearing about the benefits of Castor oil and also after testing out Coconut oil on my scalp and seeing the benefits of that. This is a very good product.

I love this. My daughter's curls are 3a-c. Sometimes when doing my daughter's hair, especially when combing to braid up/or for braids, it can get very dry during the process. A little bit of this oil, not much at all, just a pea sized amount, helped tremendously! I will ALWAYS choose this over unnatural, synthetic, over fake fragranced oils! There are so many fake, silicone, paraben filled products, parabens are not good for you. I feel confident choosing this. I love this oil so much, I am leaving my other "moisture" brand. Usually when i braid my daughter's hair, she has an itchy scalp before the end of the night, even after using dandruff shampoo and leave in. So far she has had no itching for 24 hours. I suggest while braiding the hair, look for the flakey spots after washing well, then add dime sized amounts to the spot. Me? I added while combing, then added some over the braids. Braids can look dry sometimes, lackluster, and this oil I think would be great for that. I am caucasian, my daughter is biracial, and I have been doing her hair for 13 years. I know good product when I feel it. This is a great oil for braid days when you want to protect the hair and let that oil soak up! You gotta try it. For a washngo apply your leave in, gel/cream, air dry, then add this oil with praying hands to fight humidity!Brrr
I had a hair emergency….I was using head and shoulders for awhile for my dandruff and I was experiencing extreme fall out and scalp sores. It just hit me like IM BALDING okay so I had to do something different. I switched to jack black shampoo and conditioner which is great and using this as well. I notice a huge difference in just 2-3 months no more sores and its filling out too you can see tiny hairs just sticking up and it looks crazy but I know its new growth so I am beyond happy. Thanks to this stuff im becky with the good hair just not as messy 🤣 I know a part of it was switching shampoos but whenever I know i will be in the house a few days i saturate my scalp and massage it in and leave it for as long as i can and i notice a huge difference my hair is so soft my scalp feels so nourished and it smells AMAZING i love this smellMonica j.
Very happy with the ingredients, texture and smell. I would not advise using this every day prior to styling your hair because it is mostly comprised of oil. It is going to be greasy so what I found effective is applying it with grow gorgeous hair density serum to the scalp. I mix them together and massage my scalp for a minute. Then I take about a nickel size of this oil by itself all the way down thru the rest of the hair brushing from scalp to tip. If you are curly or wavy you obviously can leave out the brushing part and rely on your hands to evenly distribute the product. I put it up in a bun overnight and wash in the morning. I do this twice a week the night before I wash and condition my hair. I do a double wash to ensure I rinse out all the oil. I learned the hard way the first time. I've only been doing this for a couple months but my hair feels and styles nicely afterward so I'll continue on. I have fine stranded medium to thick density hair. I've dreamed of a super thick pony but I'm thankful for having a lot of hair albeit baby fine.Product Lover

As other reviewers stated, I couldn't see the difference of length in my hair by using this but as someone with natural hair, this product definitely provides the moisture you need when your hair is on the dry side. I’ve been using this line of hair products for a while, and it is a great moisture lock for 4b/4c hair! I highly recommend using this product with your favorite leave in-conditioner, as it mixes well with just about any! I paired this grease with after I washed my hair and performed a twist based protective style on my hair, and after few days, my hair is still moisturized!! The only cons to this product is that if you solely use it on your hair, it will be extremely greasy and it does have a slight smell to it. After you get done rubbing it into your hair, the surrounding area will smell like the grease, haha. To alleviate the smell, don’t just use this on your hair alone. Also, if you happen to pat or scratch your hair, there will be some residue on your hands. To yield the best results, pair it with another product!!ace.r

I wouldn't recommend buying the Tropic Isle Living Black Castor Oil product from them. Although it arrived in a perfect time and great packaging, it was not any good. I opened it and got ready to use it and it was clumpy, lumpy, and oily. It literally looked like fish eggs stuffed off in a container. That is not what it supposed to look or feel like. It supposed to be a grease like, cocoa butter, or pomade feel. I don't know if I got a bad batch or what but be careful ordering this product from them. It's not right!j.fatkhylahmommy
I have super dry afro hair and this hair food makes my hair so SOFT OMG!! I bought it at a beauty supply store in the city yesterday, and it smells sort of nutty and natural because of the shea butter. It was expensive at $9.99, but worth the money because it makes my hair soft without using water or anything else. It makes my hair SUPER EASY to comb. I have very dry skin and porous (brittle) Type 4C hair. I used to use another product to grease my scalp, however the ingredients in the old product that I used to use were (mostly) petroleum, mineral oil and lanolin. The ingredients in the old product that I used to use just sat on my scalp and stopped my scalp from being dry, but did not have any additional benefits (in my humble opinion). I switched to this product two years ago after hearing about the benefits of Castor oil and also after testing out Coconut oil on my scalp and seeing the benefits of that. This is a very good product.

I received this product complimentary from Bumble and bumble. This is such a wonderful oil that is perfect for my long, wavy and frizzy hair. I spray a small amount onto my damp or dry hair and work it with my fingers into my hair. It has such nice clear smooth texture and a beautiful clean scent. It absorbs quickly into my hair without weighing my hair down. I then style my hair. After just one use my frizzy hair that is prone to damage, split ends and breakage looked so much better. It makes my hair feel silky soft and it does not leave any buildup or a greasy feeling. My hair is easy to style and has such a beautiful shine and looks healthy. It really tames my frizz. I love this hair oil! I have extremely bleached and colored hair, so hair oil is my everyday essential. I have been using one of the big brands for years and never met any oil that can replace it until I found this Bb Invisible Oil. I like that its plumped design so it's easy to use without making a mess. The scent is light coconut. After applying to my damp hair, it's not greasy at all and absorbs fast, and layers very well just with a few drops. My hair instantly feels hydrated, soft, and smooth. I love this product, it's the only hair oil I have used that doesn't make my hair look greasy, it's really lightweight and I love the smell. My first bottle has lasted me over a year as a little goes a long way (I only use on wet hair, usually every other day), so although it's not cheap I think the price is good considering how often I'll be replacing it! I do think it reduces frizz, it doesn't 100% get rid of it for me, but it's definitely better with this oil rather than without and it gives my hair a healthy shine. My only criticism is that I wish there was a lid, when I travel with it I have to put it in a sandwich bag as I have previously left it loose in my wash bag only to have everything covered in oil as the pump has accidentally been pushed down whilst in the bag. I just ordered a new bottle and some has even leaked into the package it came in, not a lot, but this would be completely solved if it had a lid. I love the oil so this won't stop me from buying it, but it annoys me enough that I've given it 4 stars instead of 5.Em95

After shampooing my hair I towel dry my long color treated hair very gently with a water absorbing towel and put a few pumps of the 14 in 1 Miracle Worker into my hands, rub them together and apply to my hair from midway down to the ends. I can then let it air dry while I sleep and wake up to a gentle wave in my hair. If my hair looks slightly frizzy during the week, i will pull into a ponytail, wet my hands with water and slightly dampen my hanging ponytail hair before putting a few pumps of 14 in 1 Miracle Worker into my hands, rubbing together and disperse onto my long haired ponytail. It makes my hair look soft with a light wavy bend and never feels sticky when dry. It works even better than higher priced conditioning products that I have purchased in the past.Georgia P.
I bought this because I recently had to have brain surgery due to a brain bleed, and my scar was itching like crazy. This sooths my scalp and stops the itch as soon as I spray it on, wet or dry hair. It also helps with the frizz, enhances my waves. I like that it prevents breakage and strengthens. It's moisturizing. It helps detangle. It's super affordable. The only thing I don't like about it, is the spray nozzle, a lot of times it comes out in clumps, and it makes a mess on the bottle. I would definitively recommend this.christina.h
