I like this oil… but I do find it a little outrageously priced compared to other argan oil treatments. Because of this, I only use it once in a while as a treat rather than daily. However, I do love that it comes in different sizes because I love the smaller ones for travel andor keeping in my gym bag. I usually just massage a dime size amount through my hair from my ears to the ends when wet and then it makes my hair very soft and silklike once dry. I just wish the smaller size bottles came with a pump because having to pour the oil into your palm makes portion control and messfree dispensing a hassle. I would consider this oil to be more heavy than lightweight, so you need to be cautious not to use too much product otherwise it will leave your hair looking and feeling greasy. I also wish it had some sort of heat protection element to it… for the price, I feel like I shouldnt have to use a separate heat protection product on top of the oil. The scent is nice and not too strong. It does make my hair feel healthier and stronger, but it could be better for reducing frizz. So basically youd use something like this for heat and uv protection as well as moisture and shine. Mostly I use it for getting some moisture back in my really parched, heat abused hair for a nice, healthy and naturally shiny look. Using products like that can go wrong really fast. You can cross the line into greasy mess from shiny tresses quick. You can do that with this too if you use too much but a lot of products do that no matter how little you use. And with my current issues it makes it look like I have none. Especially when I flat iron my hair with this as a heat protectant it almost seals the cuticle completely and keeps my hair looking super healthy until my next wash. I also use it randomly to add a touch of moisture back into my hair if its really dry. I have been using this for two to three weeks and so far I like it. It is lightweight but effective. You can smell a 'slight' hint of sulfur with a bit of sweetness. I spent a bit of time searching for a product that would help my dry scalp/dandruff and one that was low maintenance i.e. I could just apply and leave at any time without washing it out. THIS IS IT!! After washing my hair and while still damp, I apply it along my part line and do a line either side (and any particular trouble spots) and massage into my scalp. Here I thought this would save the day. I read all the fantastic reviews and decided to give this a go and what a huge mistake that was! I lost so much hair in the shower after shampooing this out that I sat on the tub floor crying with the amount of hair loss that was in the drain and on my hands. I decided to look at the back of the ingredients and notice citric acid which is a form of mold. This product is amazing I tried this not to long ago after we had a cool draft sweep across Florida my skin scalp and hair was totally unprepared for it. I have suffered from dandruff since my teenage years. Any product I apply to my scalp after a couple of uses causes severe scalp irritation, itching, and scaling. This does smell like a campfire BBQ in a jar,lol! But it always grew out my hair with no problems.I add a bit of sulfur8 to the mix and this really does work quickly. I bought this because keratin has worked well for me, during professional, keratin beauty shop conditioning. But THIS "keratin" stuff is too light-textured and lightweight, to do anything, other than smell good. It failed me while my hair still was straight-permed in February. And if fails me now in April, as I no longer visit any beauty shops during this Cornavirus shut-down era. So I just leave it on my shelf now, and listen closely, as my natural hair roots tell me, I no longer need good-smelling, yet ineffective, costly products like these. I've worn straight beauty shop perms now for 30 years! And my hair roots seem to be sick and tired of the many, overpriced straight perms I've gotten from professional beauticians in our overpriced, black hair-care beauty shops! Like it or not, my roots are busting out – NATURAL (smile)! And I now love and welcome my strong, thick, usually not straight, but HEALTHY, roots. No more straight perms. No more ineffective products like "Kera" Care. And no more need to keep it straight. At least not, when it comes to my hair (smile).S.C.

The product smells nice and there is a surprising tingling feeling after application which feels lovely. I guess this is supposed to help stimulate growth. My itchy scalp and dandruff have subsided with regular use. I didn’t give it 5 stars because the first ingredient is petroleum – known to block pores. Considering the price I’d thought they would use a different filler.IB

This has been used in my hair for every salon visit since I was younger. I am natural and my stylist adds this before she does the hot comb press and it leaves my hair shiny (glossy) and darker. It does weigh the hair down. But I like the flat look after a salon visit- your hair will eventually get more volume after a week if you continue to wrap it and take care of it. I am lost without these products. I can't think of anything else that's better than this!JellyBean
