I don't really do reviews but I have to for this product. After the first month, my nails had grown quite a bit and my skin actually improved, a positive side effect I guess. I'm almost halfway through my second month so here is my own personal experience. My eyebrows have grown back in spots where overzealous threaders took too much off the ends of my eyebrows. This stuff definitely works…OVER TIME. Not going to lie: I RARELY used it twice per day, almost always once during the evening. Why? Bc it definitely adds a “film” to your hair, At least it did to my hair anyway ;it definitely gave it a sort of gritty, hairspray-esque feeling to it, and I most certainly didn’t want that texture during the day at work. So my recommendation is to spray it…yes, I said “spray”….my recommendation is to pour each bottle into a small plastic spray bottle of some kind rather than use the product dropper, because if you use the dropper you’re going to end up wasting SO much product or not use enough, and using the dropper is so messy…if you spray it on your hair, trust me, it’s so much easier and you can actually hit the spots that you need to hit with a lot more accuracy!!! So I would spray a soft mist (extremely lightly) just on my part in the morning, work the rest of the day,letty .s
Great idea but although my hair is thinning I still have some hair. It’s extremely difficult to apply the foam without getting a significant amount on my hair which wastes product and makes my hair feel stiff and kind of dirty. I’ve even tried just carefully squirting the foam directly on my scalp in the part lines which works better than trying to dab it on with my fingers but it’s still not optimal. I wish Rogain could make a no PG formula in the liquid form as well as or instead of a foam for women. Foam would only be convenient if you were applying to bald or very sparse areas in my opinion. The liquid applied with a dropper is much easier to use and be sure you are really getting the majority of the product onto your scalp where it does the work. I began using Rogaine Dec. 12, 2020. I'm beginning my 38th week–almost 9 months in and I'm thrilled with the results! My hair is blonde and although it was somewhat fine I had a lot of hair. First off: I started with the pretty expensive hair regrowth system. After the 4th month I noticed I was not losing that much hair in the shower. ACTUALLY WORKS!!! I have hair to my hips and noticed significant thinning within the past 6 months or so. I started using these vitamins after being told about them by not one, but TWO dermatologists out of separate offices where I have gotten my routine skin checks. This stuff definitely works…OVER TIME. Not going to lie: I RARELY used it twice per day, almost always once during the evening. Why? Bc it definitely adds a “film” to your hair, At least it did to my hair anyway ;it definitely gave it a sort of gritty, hairspray-esque feeling to it, and I most certainly didn’t want that texture during the day at work. So my recommendation is to spray it…yes, I said “spray”….my recommendation is to pour each bottle into a small plastic spray bottle of some kind rather than use the product dropper, because if you use the dropper you’re going to end up wasting SO much product or not use enough, and using the dropper is so messy…if you spray it on your hair, trust me, it’s so much easier and you can actually hit the spots that you need to hit with a lot more accuracy!!! So I would spray a soft mist (extremely lightly) just on my part in the morning, work the rest of the day,letty .s
Great idea but although my hair is thinning I still have some hair. It’s extremely difficult to apply the foam without getting a significant amount on my hair which wastes product and makes my hair feel stiff and kind of dirty. I’ve even tried just carefully squirting the foam directly on my scalp in the part lines which works better than trying to dab it on with my fingers but it’s still not optimal. I wish Rogain could make a no PG formula in the liquid form as well as or instead of a foam for women. Foam would only be convenient if you were applying to bald or very sparse areas in my opinion. The liquid applied with a dropper is much easier to use and be sure you are really getting the majority of the product onto your scalp where it does the work. That being said, Rogaine definitely has helped me regrow hair and I’ve been using it for many years with no problems.Happy Rogaine User
I began using Rogaine Dec. 12, 2020. I'm beginning my 38th week–almost 9 months in and I'm thrilled with the results! My hair is blonde and although it was somewhat fine I had a lot of hair. In my early 60's I noticed enough thinning that I had to use tons of thickening/volumizing products to get decent styling results. Last fall I began researching Rogaine. Personal experience: Certain areas grow and thicken quicker–only noticeable to me but I like to keep it trimmed well. You will need to wash brushes and combs. (Should we, anyway?!) I shampoo every two to three days. I may dampen my hair the morning after Rogaine and give it a little blowout. (Rogaine is applied at night with me, though is certainly no rule, just my preference.) Did Rogaine make me gain weight? No. I did gain 19 "pandemic pounds", now gone and back to my normal 115 pounds. In conclusion, this product is a game-changer. I gave this a try on three separate wash days and it made my hair feel gross! My hair and scalp are dry, so I was surprised this made my hair feel greasy. I used about 1 full pipette over my whole scalp. I've used other scalp serums with no issue, this was on sale making it cheaper than the one I was using so I bought it. I can't speak to its long term effects but there is no way I could use it for the 8 Wks. The pipette will only fill about 1/2 way. For reference I wash my hair every 4-5 days and use the derma e scalp serum every other day and it does not make my hair greasy even on days I co wash. I ended up returning this.Loveaemily
Just about finished my 1st bottle, and recently received the 2nd bottle. I've been using every night (give or take a night missed here n there). Not seeing much of a change, so hoping after getting through the 2nd bottle, I will be pleasantly surprised, as I so want this to work. I must make a comment re: the 2nd bottle received, the liquid is a much darker yellow color than the 1st bottle I received, not sure what that's about?? I like this serum because is not sticky or viscose like others that ate very oily. It actually delivers the result promised and I have noticed improvements in my son’s hair. I received this product for free from Influenster and Dr. Berg Haircare in exchange for my honest review of the product. I tried using the product several times, alternating how much of the serum I used each time. I did not like the feeling of the serum in my hair, and it seemed difficult to get wash out. The serum felt very oily and greasy feeling while in my hair and it took several washes to get it out. The instructions say to massage it into your scalp for 10-15 minutes. I’m not sure about others, but there was no way I was going to spend 10-15 minutes massaging it in. I have used other serums and never had to massage it in for that long. I recently had issues with low vitamin D levels which caused my usually thick, long, healthy hair to become lifeless, dry, and caused lots of hair loss so was excited to recieve this product to try. First off I love the smell of rosemary and it smells so fresh in also like that it has vitamins D E which is much needed especially with the issues that I'm dealing with. Okay so first off, the directions are a bit of a turn off. Massage it for 10-15 mins on your scalp? That’s a long time. I did maybe 3 and that was enough for me. Next the scent, not my favorite but bearable. The feel, well…. It’s oil so I expected it to feel oily but this coated my skin and I had to wash my hands twice pretty thoroughly and they still felt a bit oily afterwards. Didn’t really sink in, just sits on top. My hair did look nice and shiny the next day and my scalp felt good and I didn’t see any flakes so it did it’s job. Would I repurchase myself? I got a 50% off voucher from Sweatcoin so decided to purchase it along with the hair treatment. I regret that I did. It arrived dusty with black marks everywhere, I wiped to clean it but the dust is stuck on the edge of the label and it looks dirty. The packaging looks super cheap, even £5 products look more expensive. The scent is awful, cheap coconut-like fragrance with the smell of the ingredients. It doesn’t moisturise my hair, nor smooth it, basically it doesn’t do anything. I really regret purchasing it because I know much better brands for cheaper price. I've tried a lot of different products, I was recommended this as it was a popular buy at a store. Skeptical at first, and was right to be. I bought the new mums set, consisting of shampoo, conditioner and vitamins and since it was a bogof sale, recieved double. After one month still no difference, 2 months still no, After 3 months I had pretty much given up hope it would work. I kept going with the shampoos and conditioner as they last ages,but decided not to buy anymore after it cost over £40. Feels like money wasted. Really bad experience with this bundle product. Like most online products it’s taking a risk when buying, with the hope it works. My experience was awful.. after taking the gummies within a week my skin felt like sand, my face was so rough and so sore. Am now waiting to see the dr to find a fix. I have Asian skin and it’s very visible the sore patches on my face. The shampoo has given me awful dandruff clots of it. My hair was falling out more from this shampoo. I usually don’t write product reviews, although I read and rely on them. That’s why I decided to write this one to let others like me know about my experience with Viviscal.
I am 63 and long past menopause. My hair has always been very fine, but I have a lot of it so I never had reason to be worried about hair loss. Until, that is, my hair started to fall out at an alarming rate. After every shower, there would be a lot of hair in the comb, which never happened before. I was very upset.
I don’t remember how I first discovered Viviscal, probably just on-line research. After I was already taking it , I went to see my dermatologist about the hair loss issue. She said she was taking Viviscal Pro, and it was amazing (she is Indian and has gorgeous hair). She explained about the ingredients and how it didn’t contain anything harmful, so I switched from Viviscal Regular to Pro, and continued taking it.
Now I’ve been on it for about four months, and I’m soo pleased! The hair loss has stopped – I’m not kidding, it just stopped. My hair also seems thicker (not the individual hairs but the amount of hair) and I can even wear it a bit longer. I also notice – weirdly and maybe tmi – that I have to shave my legs more often because the hair grows faster. But hey, small price to pay imo. I don't really do reviews but I have to for this product. After the first month, my nails had grown quite a bit and my skin actually improved, a positive side effect I guess. I'm almost halfway through my second month so here is my own personal experience. My eyebrows have grown back in spots where overzealous threaders took too much off the ends of my eyebrows. Baby hairs around the hair line are back, hair is feeling healthy, full and shiny and it's growing. My hairdresser commented had how healthy my hair felt. Your hair in other places will grow too. Does it taste great, slightly fishy but if you take them and drink water immediately to me it's a small price to pay for the results.Ann
PLEASE READ this before you decide on this hair growth product! THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE! I've used the red box viviscal with the marine complex for the last 3 1/2 years. Always works- does take at least 3 months to notice, but it is noticeable. Plus my skin doesn't break out. The pink box- with a new collagen complex, made my hair fall out like crazy. I got these in may- 1/2 off sale and I was wondering why the volume of hair was noticeably thinner. THIS is the difference! I already take collagen pills. I didn't notice the labor and formula was not the same. I quit these and went back to the original. My hair is growing back now. Thank you ulta for taking the other box back.
