Very weak, I was expecting a higher concentration since it say's 100% peppermint oil. I used other 100% extracts before and I know how intense they are supposed to be. Although I love making my own oil mixtures to promote healthy scalp and assist with hair growth, I love this oil. The price is awesome and one bottle normally lasts me about a month or two. It smells soooo good and I love how lightweight the formula is. I have ultra sensitive skin and scalp and this oil does not irritate me or make my scalp itch as with some other oils. There is very minimal build up from this product. It makes your hair shine look super healthy when it is applied to your scalp. When I straighten my hair I love to apply this to my scalp and brush through my hair as I wrap it at night. By the morning there is no frizz, my hair has a bunch of shine and no oily residue left behind and doesn't weigh my hair down. When my hair is in its natural curly/coily state I like to apply to damp or dry hair and massage it into my scalp for about 5-10 minutes. I recently started trying the Moroccan Oil oily scalp treatment a few times a week right before wash day. I leave it on for about 5 minutes each time and gently move the product around by massaging it into the scalp. It is not oily and feels like a serum for your scalp. I feel that we always forget how important our scalp is so I’m glad I started incorporating this into my pre-wash routine. I have a very oily scalp as I have combination skin. I have noticed that after using this treatment my scalp feels more balanced though still a bit oily and soothed. Since my scalp is oily I tend to use a lot of dry shampoo which tends to build up so using a treatment to get rid of this build up I believe has helped in the last few weeks! First of all, let me start by saying I have VERY oily roots. I get oily the day after washing my hair and usually have to wash it everyday or every other day (not good i know but i can’t stand being greasy). I also have dry ends to make things worse. When I tried this, my scalp felt really fresh and my roots were voluminous and full. It was easy to use and didn’t feel heavy at all. Felt super nice and cooling. I did not really notice a significant change in oiliness though. I still got fairly oily the next day but that could just be that i’m too oily? I don’t know. What I can say is this helped with volume and my scalp felt clean and purified. It didn’t feel stripped or dehydrate which I like because usually a lot of oily hair or clarifying products are super drying. This one didn’t feel bad on my dry ends either. Overall, I like it. But Would I call it a holy grail? Probably not. However everyone’s different so maybe this could work for you if your hair isn’t as oily as mine! So I rate it a 7/10!!Julia120
I have struggled with hair confidence my entire life. I have average hair, but overall it is thin and fine and prone to damaged ends even without coloring. My biggest struggle though has always been that I have almost no natural volume and very straight smooth textured hair, which makes styling a nightmare, For the longest time I showered and blow-dried and curled and teased every single day. I like this Fro Butter hair pomade. I use it from time to time, and when I use it, I always feel I should be using it more often on my hair, because it really does make your hair feel soft and smooth. I've had Chronic Telogen Effluvium for the past 4 years, which basically results in very heavy hair shedding. This stuff helped fill my hair back out when it was noticeably thinning and then maintain a full head of hair the entire time. It's obviously a product that will work for some people and not as much for others, but it's certainly worth a shot. I love the 2%…I did try 5% first at the advice of a dermatologist and I was so sensitive to it that it actually made the peach fuzz on my face far worse (despite the fact I'm careful not to get it on my face). Switching to the 2% fixed that issue, and the liquid is far easier to use than the foam if you have long hair…you just have to be careful to lean your head back a bit so it doesn't run down your face. It doesn't really leave a residue. I only use it once a day and that's enough for me at the point.Madeline

This is a really well-priced alternative to the big name-brands out there charging two or three times the price. In terms of ingredients (active and otherwise), they seem to share the vast majority of them, and after using various over the years, this seems to work pretty much the same. So, in terms of lower cost while still providing a relatively high quality, this is a good product in comparison to market competitors. But, do keep in mind, minodzidil overall is not a miracle drug, and doesn’t really do too much for a lot of people. Personally, after a few yesrs of use, it seems to really only keep my hair relatively thick, but unable to do much in saving my front hairline and crown balding. That is just simply a part of aging as male and cannot be avoided for most men— unless you expect to not have any testosterone conversion within your body! So, the bottom line is, if you want minoxidil in a foam form that is less agitating for the skin than the liquid form, then this is a fantastic product to purchase. I love this. My daughter's curls are 3a-c. Sometimes when doing my daughter's hair, especially when combing to braid up/or for braids, it can get very dry during the process. A little bit of this oil, not much at all, just a pea sized amount, helped tremendously! I will ALWAYS choose this over unnatural, synthetic, over fake fragranced oils! There are so many fake, silicone, paraben filled products, parabens are not good for you. I feel confident choosing this. I love this oil so much, I am leaving my other "moisture" brand. Usually when i braid my daughter's hair, she has an itchy scalp before the end of the night, even after using dandruff shampoo and leave in. So far she has had no itching for 24 hours. I suggest while braiding the hair, look for the flakey spots after washing well, then add dime sized amounts to the spot. Me? I added while combing, then added some over the braids. Braids can look dry sometimes, lackluster, and this oil I think would be great for that. I am caucasian, my daughter is biracial, and I have been doing her hair for 13 years. I know good product when I feel it. This is a great oil for braid days when you want to protect the hair and let that oil soak up! You gotta try it. Very happy with the ingredients, texture and smell. I would not advise using this every day prior to styling your hair because it is mostly comprised of oil. It is going to be greasy so what I found effective is applying it with grow gorgeous hair density serum to the scalp. I mix them together and massage my scalp for a minute. Then I take about a nickel size of this oil by itself all the way down thru the rest of the hair brushing from scalp to tip. If you are curly or wavy you obviously can leave out the brushing part and rely on your hands to evenly distribute the product. I put it up in a bun overnight and wash in the morning. I do this twice a week the night before I wash and condition my hair. I do a double wash to ensure I rinse out all the oil. I learned the hard way the first time. I've only been doing this for a couple months but my hair feels and styles nicely afterward so I'll continue on. I have fine stranded medium to thick density hair. I've dreamed of a super thick pony but I'm thankful for having a lot of hair albeit baby fine.Product Lover

I like the smell (light herbs), ingredients, quality, and overall product I dislike how much the yellow bottle itch but mix it with another oil (ex coconut/castor/Doo gro) and it goes away On wash days. Add to clean scalp after wash massage it in and also add to hair before styling it will stay moisturized for days! Now i can do more than twist or braids on wash days 🙌🏾 Add a few drops to your shampoo/conditioner/leave in I wish i knew how to properly use it years ago when i first heard of it. But i wasn’t consistent and so no results 👎🏾 I also wish i bought it in bulks from the start i would have saved a lot of money I got 6 pack for $34 (Amazon) that’s less that $6 a bottle! Will last me for years!!! Take away: be consistent, also products that smell strong usually always work best.dee.m
I LOVE THIS OIL. Have been using it since 2016 and have ALWAYS seen major results. The problem with people who DONT is that they don’t use it as directed. Both bottles as directed gets the best results. Roducta are natural and safe for children. Been using it on my son since he was 4m in 2020 and got his first bald patch. I love the effectiveness of this product. It works but it smells so bad. Otherwise I would've given it five stars. Especially if you use this oil daily the smell can sometimes be unbearable. Besides that, it is affordable and is usually available at your local beauty supply. My recommendation would be to use it a few times a week just so your hair isn't smelly.makayla.t

I have been using black castor oil all year in 2021. I’ve been trying to think of my hair. Although I have not yet succeeded in fixing my hair, I still like Jamaican black castor oil. This is just one of the few that I have tried this year. The lavender scent makes this product smell way better than plain Jamaican black castor oil. I will be buying the lather sent again, because it smells good. I can wear it in the daytime if it smells good; otherwise, I can only wear it at night.
