I bought the entire system of CD goddess strength. I’m combination 3c/4a and this is what my hair needed. I give it a 10/10 after one use. Shampoo is not stripping and hydrating af! I bought this to help with my daughter's hair, and mine. For my daughter's to help restore oils back to their hair that over working their has taken away. Ballet is wonderful, but has dried and damaged their hair. I try I to find products that help. I have found some wonderful ones, but wanted to give this a try. You do not need much. I directly line their head with the nozzle after was day one, wash day two, to wash day 4. Now I put a bit on my hands and make sure I put some on my finger to massage it on the scalp. I received a free sample of this, and I am actually going to shell out the full price for a bottle of it because I cannot believe the difference it has made. My hair is ridiculously fine, thin, straight, and long. My hair is easily weighed down, doesn't hold texture, doesn't hold volume, and looks greasy by the end of the day no matter what. I cannot skip a single shower, and I avoid using product in my hair in any way, shape, or form because not only will my hair look unwashed, stringy, and greasy (even with dry shampoo), but my scalp will break out. I can't even stray from the same shampoo/conditioner I've always used because my hair will freak out. All that to say– I cannot believe this product works on me. The ends of my hair dry out terribly, and in general my hair has not been in great shape. On the first use, my hair definitely felt softer, but after about a week of using this at night before bed, and every other day also putting some on the bottom half of my hair after a morning shower made my hair look and feel smoother, too. Tangled hair has been minimized, and brushing my hair is easier– less snags than usual. The oil does not have that viscous, sticky consistency that other treatments have, and doesn't have the weight and texture that make my hair limp. It is a very light oil that feels dry on contact, and does not alter the texture of my hair when applied, but the difference in softness is definitely felt. It also smells freaking amazing. 10/10, will actually buy, and would buy again! So far, I love this product. I have color-damaged, fine, wavy, long, blonde hair. This oil is fairly thick, but I'm impressed with it's ability to still be dispersed evenly throughout my hair. I use this product on the mid-shaft to ends of my hair while it is semi-damp/nearly dry, usually prior to blow-drying. I use a wide-tooth comb to ensure the product is evenly disbursed. Since using this product, I've noticed a reduction in my split ends and my hair feels smooth, soft and silky. A little bit of this product definitely goes a long way. Other reviewers with fine hair have mentioned that this product weighed their hair down – and I can confirm that while this product made my hair look much healthier, I did notice a reduction in volume. This is a heavier, more dense hair oil than others that I've used. If you are looking to use a hair oil & still maintain volume, I'd suggest a lighter hair oil like Kerastase or Opalex. Compared to Kerastase or Opalex hair oils, I have noticed that this Moroccanoil oil seems to last longer – I currently am on day 3 of my hair and applied a nickle-sized amount of this oil once before I blow-dried my hair on day 1, and my ends are still silky smooth & I have not had to reapply. Whereas when I have used Kerastase or Opalex hair oils in the past, I've had to apply them 1-2x daily to continuously see results. This product also makes my hair feel clean after use – with other hair oils, my hair has felt like it has a residue on it. There’s so many things to list out for this moroccanoil treatment serum that I love so very much! I love the smell! It’s very calming. I use it after my showers and lightly finger it throughout the mid and ends of my wet hair, then I take my wet-hair detangling brush and gently brush through my hair to detangle and distribute the product (serum). once my hair air drys (yes, I’m one of those people but my hair thanks me for it!) my hair looks like I’ve had a team of people working on it for hours. It’s incredibly soft, easy to manage, my natural waves are much more defined, my hair overall feels healthier and more resilient and finally, the scent lasts for several days and so do the results. Long term I feel as though this will be what my hair has been begging me for! This oil is amazing, I have dry and fizzy hair. This oil does work but you have to give it time, after while you can see great result. I use this oil 4 a week. Amla oil is great for keeping my extremely dry hair nourished, soft, and shiny. It also leaves the hair smelling very pleasant. Although the oil is light, you should be careful not to use to much because it has a tendency to run down the neck if you do. Other than that, I have nothing but praise. I wouldn't recommend buying the Tropic Isle Living Black Castor Oil product from them. Although it arrived in a perfect time and great packaging, it was not any good. I opened it and got ready to use it and it was clumpy, lumpy, and oily. It literally looked like fish eggs stuffed off in a container. That is not what it supposed to look or feel like. Very weak, I was expecting a higher concentration since it say's 100% peppermint oil. I used other 100% extracts before and I know how intense they are supposed to be. This one is already diluted from 100% oil to directly apply to hair (you wouldn't be able to walk around with the concentrate one as it truly burns your skin). So, needs a little bit more accuracy in the product labelling: Made from 100% pure peppermint oil, but not 100% in the bottle.Alan
It smells lovely and I hope that it improves hair growth, but it makes hair very oily and look heavy and greasy, so I suggest keeping it in overnight and wearing a cap to not stain the pillow then showering it out, or using it as a leave-in treatment for a few hours before washing hair before bed. I have always been in oily hair oily skinned person and I always straight away from using oils. But over the last two years I’ve learned how much I actually need them. My hair started thinning a few months back in as somebody who has always had very long hair, past my back. It was hard for me and my insecurities start growing from this issue. I went looking for information and learned a-lot, I asked my doctor for advice also. We think it happened because of a medication I was taking for my heart rate. I have been using them once a day and the night before I Shower I put a-lot more in to sit overnight before washing out. I am very sensitive to fragrances so I try to buy products that either use no fragrances at all or all natural ingredients. To me, this oil has too strong of a fragrance for an everyday or all day use for me. Furthermore, i have a lot of hair but it is very thin so really even a little bit of this product makes my hair look wet and oily. I did find a use for this product though. I use this as a full scalp/hair oil which I put on about an hour before I'm going to shower – then wash out completely and style normally. I probably wouldn't buy this again for the fragrance alone. I have really been enjoying this hair oil! The packaging is so beautiful, the component is weighty and feels luxe, and the oil itself is a bright yellow, which looks so cool. I apply to wet hair and work it into the end of my hair. Honestly, I can't get over how smooth and soft this makes my hair look and feel! I'm so I pressed! I docked 1 star because the scent has a subtle undertone I don't really like, almost like pine nuts or peppercorn, idk, but it's not over powering. I also found the oil to be very runny. I got this as a sample when ordering the shampoo and conditioner and totally surprised me. My hair is mostly straight but does have a little wave to it and can get a little puffy/frizzy in the humidity of the summer. I use the oil on damp hair after showering, focusing on my ends but also using the remainder on my hair line and it makes my hair SO soft and smooth! Possibly the worst hair product I've ever used. My hair was a greasy, waxy mess fro several days. I washed it 3-4 times a day, which I hated to do, but it would never wash out. It ended up taking 4 days of constant washing with strong shampoo and apple cider vinegar, which left my hair dry and in worse condition than before using the product. I really wish I was able to show a picture of my hair after I used this product. The two you can see are more slightly wavy, but this product definitely works on curlies! I have 3B type hair myself, I love to use this product as an oil to break my gel cast and as a basic curl refresher. I use about two pumps for my shoulder length hair on a fresh wash day. With that being said, this little bottle can go pretty quickly depending on how often you have was days. I personally have no issue at all with the sent. It is very light, not overpowering at all. I’ve been using this product for 2 years and it’s my HG smoothing product! My hair is curly, color treated, and tends to be dry and damaged. It drinks this stuff up and looks so healthy and smooth after I use it. It keeps my frizz at bay and my hair stays feel so soft. I use it as part of my Verb Sets, as the finish to whichever shampoo, conditioner, mask, etc I use. I use the Ghost Line and the Hydrating set along with the Reser Kit. I love that all Verb products have the same scent so I can mix and match products. Regardless of which other products I use first, I use this daily. If my hair is feeling drier, I’ll apply a bit more to my ends at night. I have a lot of hair so I use more than suggested. It’s small but lasts awhile so I think it’s a pretty good value. I’m a huge fan of the scent, I don’t feel like it weighs my hair down in a bad way, and it’s one of the few products I’ve used that I haven’t felt like lost it’s effectiveness over time. I first tried this as a trial size along with one of my previous orders. The small 17ml bottle lasted me 6 months, even though I have plenty of hip length hair that is naturally curly in texture, however the strands themselves are somewhere between fine and thick, so medium size strands? Any how, i would use this oil after every shower, separating the hair into two sections and applying the ghost oil to the lengths, beginning from the ears down, and with any left over on my hands would smooth the light frizz at the roots, however I’ve never really applied the oil to the roots. With the trial size lasting 6 months, I saw a dramatic improvement, my hair would always feels super soft and virtually frizz free every time I used it, and it was noticeable when I skipped the oil step. I ended up finishing up the oil approximately two weeks before I ordered the full size. Those two weeks without the oil, my hair tangled more easy, my ends felt dry, and my hair was no longer as soft feeling and I was experiencing more frizz. While I wish the bottle was bigger in size, I can say this product is worth the $20CA, and will continue to use the ghost oil after every shower until I find something even better, which for the price of this product I doubt I will find a replacement anytime soon. A definite 5/5 for me, even though I wish the bottle was bigger for the price, seeing as how I’m a gal on a budget, but for nice feeling hair I can’t complain, especially since I haven’t had a haircut since before the 2020 pandemic began in March of last year. This has been a godsend for me personally. It's also the only oil I've consistently repurchased. A little goes a long way so the large bottle lasts quite a while. First, let’s talk initially how gorgeous this packaging is because I think we need to take a moment to appreciate it 😍 Initially as I opened the product the entire cap came off and I was wondering how to properly apply this product. I had no idea there was actually a pump because it’s hard to tell and you end up taking the entire cap off. After reading other reviews apparently I’m not the only one this has happened too. Not sure why that happens but it is alittle off putting however if you just pull up on the cap a pump is included for the product to be dispensed, I absolutely love the smell! It smells so good and is heavily scented if that’s not your thing. I used this on my hair two different ways. I applied it to mostly the ends when it was wet after a shower which I didn’t really like the way it made my hair feel. It didn’t feel like it was absorbing into my hair. I also used it dry on the ends and to help flyaways stay down as it was dry and I was blow drying and straightening. I didn’t notice any long term improvement to my hair after using this product but it does smell amazing and keep my frizz at bay. I have curly hair with lots of damage and I definitely need a good oil. I prefer a leave in conditioner but I definitely think a oil has a place in a hair care routine as well. For the price I probably wouldn’t repurchase this product but I definitely want to try other products from this company. I got this in a set with the Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo and Conditioner. I really do love the set and feel that they work as a whole to keep my hair silky. I have bleached hair and when using other hair care brands I feel like my hair feels very dry. With Oribe products, my hair feels healthy and rarely gets tangled unlike when using other brands. I tested out Briogeo's be gentle be kind set in the Banana scent and it not only did it dry out my hair, it also gave me A LOT of dandruff. Keep in mind that I have never once noticed dandruff in my hair before using Briogeo. Switched back to Oribe and my hair is as healthy as ever! No dandruff in sight.laura.c

This Oil is so Lux and it's definitely worth it. I've been looking for an oil I can use while straightening my hair that will moisturize yet not weigh it down and this product helps go above and beyond. I bought this for myself a couple of times & just bought it for a gift. Oils can weigh down my straight fine hair but this one doesn’t! A medication I was taking made my hair frizzy & difficult, this softens my hair and I like that I can add it later in the day to dry hair for extra frizz control (I live in Houston) and my hair absorbs it instead of just laying on top of the hair and looking greasy. After shampooing, I use 2 pumps of the oil & 4 of L’anza’s Healing Smooth Smoother Straightening Balm and a hot straightening brush (love that). Game changers in helping my frizzed out wrecked out hair!
So my stylist recommended this to me because she sells it at her salon. I saw that ulta had a sale on these and I bought it with the mask. The mask was not good. This oil however was good at first when you put it on, the next day it will dry out and your hair feels dry afterward. Then when you get it wet and shower your hair is back to silky soft again. It's almost as if there's some sort of chemical that made it that way. I have to look into it. But it smells good. It just dry my hair out on the 2nd or 3rd day so I can't go far after using this without rinsing my hair off. It's not like putting coconut oil on your hair where the oil doesn't evaporate and dry your hair out. This thing does. Maybe it's the alcohol or silicone? This is def not suitable for someone like me with dry damaged over bleached hair.
