20 Best Hair Parts For Round Faces (Feb 2023 Update)

I have the Making Waves set so own all 5 barrels. This is probably my favourite due to its unique barrel size – its unique to me anyway. Perfectly names Loose Waves as it does exactly that. Heats up super fast. Great option to have interchangeable Wands. Expensive but worth it. Easy to lock and unlock barrels without worrying abt bending prongs. Even if you don't lock the barrel, it will still heat up – perhaps a change to that minor safety feature in the future? Hair is shiny and smooth. Stays curled with barely any dropping of curls – even without styling product, which is crazy super impressive as I have stubborn straight Chinese hair. I am a T3 user for life and will continue buying the new tools you guys put out. Plus T3 customer service is excellent and a pleasure to shop with. If only contests and such were available to Canadians too!!Li L.

My favorite item from T3! Recently got this as an addition to my trio set, and it has quickly risen to the very top of my favorites! I currently have very long, layered hair, and this adds very loose, very soft waves that lasts! The waves don’t last as long as the ones using the tighter wands, but I think that has to do with how long my hair has gotten, which is currently down to my waist in the back, with very long layers throughout, and the front layers are past my bra cups. This makes hair very heavy, and I don’t think it’s realistic to expect the waves to last all day, but they do last a long time! By the time my day is over with, I don’t care about those waves much anymore anyway, and my hair just looks a bit more voluminous than it would normally look if I hadn’t done anything to it. Overall a great buy! I love this wand, and I love how pretty it is, too!avav

I really wanted to love this after my last wand (that I had for over 10 years! stopped working). My last wand was old so I had it on the highest setting – I have thick hair and a lot of it. But I burnt my hair the first two times using this T3 not realizing it was too high and I was holding it for too long. I've since started using it at level 2 and only holding for about 20 seconds but honestly a couple hours later and my hair is just big with a slight wave after. Not the nice loose curl I'm used to. I've curled my hair at least once a week for the last 10 years… maybe this iron just needs a different technique? I wanted to love it but don't. I may try getting another attachment…? I was really excited to get this as well as the voluminous curl attachment. It heats up quickly and I loved the idea of being able to purchase multiple attachments to try different styles. Unfortunately, the design of this base is off and really heavy even heavier with the attachment on. Each time I wrapped my hair I would hit the power button that would increase the heat or turn off the iron. Will be returning.Kate

When it comes to hair, make up & skin care, I really research what I use. I read the reviews, watched videos & wanted to see the hype without spending the $200 plus on this item. I really like it. I have purchased two bases (one from an Ulta competitor and the other through T3 and both have died). For the price of the base, it should last even longer than the cheap curling irons which I have that work after sitting in my drawer for years not getting any use. It is great when it works as my hair is curly and I used to first need to straighten it before I could curl it with the cheaper irons but the T3 straightens it as it curls. Though, I have noticed now going back to the cheaper iron, that it is straightening and curling as well, which makes me wonder if the T3 has also caused long term damage to my hair and changed the curl. If I found the base at a super cheap cost, I would purchase again due the number of attachments I have, now that can't be used, but I'm more inclined to switch to Dry Bar.Elle

Just replaced my L'ange dryer brush with this DryBar model (my old one had lost most of its bristles after years of use). The Single Shot far exceeded my expectations after only one use. I'm loving the results from the round shape, as opposed to the oval of my previous dryer, as it helps with volume and gives my hair a slight bend that I previously needed an iron to achieve. My L'ange would get so hot I couldn't touch my hair for a minute after a couple of passes. It also made my bathroom hotter, and I'd have to let it cool like a curling iron if I was packing for travel. This DryBar dryer dried my hair faster, never made my hair too hot to touch, my bathroom was noticeably cooler, and the dryer was cool enough to store immediately after use. The DryBar gave my hair body, shine, and the appearance I could only previously achieve with drying and ironing. So cutting out a step is definitely a pro. For reference: my hair is medium/long in length, fairly fine, and I wear extensions. The resistance is perfect. Enough to achieve the result I was looking for, while being kind to my extensions. If I was forced to complain about this dryer, it would only be that the handle is slick plastic (the L'ange has a more rubbery silicone handle that is a bit easier to hang on to) so it's a bit slippery, and it's taking a minute to figure out the right place to hold on to it. But for the other wonderful benefits, the handle is definitely not a deal breaker. I've only used it once, so time will tell how it holds up…but so far, I'm completely in love. If the price tag is holding you back, Ulta offers Afterpay to take some of the sting out of the higher price. Get this dryer brush, you won't be sorry.CatRen

This is life changing for disabled people or those with arthritis in the upper limbs or carpal tunnel and for people post surgery. I purchased for my just above my shoulder length hair based on other users experiences and they are all spot on! I have fine wavy hair but a lot of it so there is frizz. I use a T3 hairdryer Oribe blow out cream a DryB mini flat brush , a T3 single flat iron and a Calista round brush curing iron. This tool replaces all of them with better results! I love the just walked out of salon look and i’ve received three compliments from random people asking me who does my hair . The brush bristles are gentle on your scalp. I towel dried my hair let it air dry for about 5 minutes with Oribe blow out product and after two passes my hair was sleek & smooth & shiny. I almost bought the T3 competitor but when i saw the reviews for this & before & after photos i jumped . The anniversary sale is the same price but it includes dry bar blow out products . I wanted to love it, BUT… I was sadly disappointed! I like the idea of a round blow drying brush. I thought it would give more volume at my scalp… NOPE! I have short, shoulder length hair and it did nothing that WOWed me, AT ALL. I see people talking about how shiny it made their hair, it did the total opposite for mine.. it was super dull and frizzy when I finished. The tip of the drying brush was very short and awkward. It was way too slick, it needs some sort of gripping feature if they can't/won't make it any longer. I burned my fingers numerous times because of the short, slick tip. I feel like there aren't enough bristles on this drying brush. I have thick hair and I don't feel like it reached every strand as well as my hot tools oval blow drying brush does. I still had a lot of un-smooth/frizzy pieces after multiple passes with the drying brush. You're pretty much just paying for a name when you buy this drying brush. I'll stick to my hot tools one. This topper is very pretty. The cut is nice, the color is very close to my bio hair color, and it feels like real hair. However, it does not have a clip to secure the hairpiece in the front (two on each side and one on the back). I can not get it to lay flat on my head; plus, the hair is very thick and poufy, so it is hard to blend it in with my natural hairline. I bought the piece on clearance and can't send it back, so I'll continue trying to work with it. This is my first topper and I definitely won't buy another one online.Brooke R.

I got these with my rouge reward- super happy TY Sephora! So let me start my review by saying that I have fine shoulder length hair – I use all the rollers when I use them – they give great volume and lift and I rarely ever see any hair on the rollers when I remove them – the velvet wrapper is super soft so there’s no snags! They heat up super fast within a few minutes and get quite hot even on the lowest setting! Sometimes it’s almost too hot against my head so then I have to wait for it to cool down even when it’s only been plugged in three minutes that’s how fast they heat up. The only negative I would say for me personally because I have fine hair is that they are extremely heavy I feel like if I move my head to the left or right front or back they would wobble and fall out maybe I have to make sure I stay upright – but I’m sure somebody with the care or medium or longer hair this would not be an issue of weight. I have lost hair using Velcro rollers they are a nightmare on fine hair- I’ve also lost strands using magnetic rollers (the kind you roll when wet) but with these rarely have I seen even one strand of hair on a roller- most all the times I have use these and I remove them there’s no strands of hair snagging on the rollers and that for me makes these a win!! I took off one starsimply because of the weight- which again probably only affects me because I have fine hair but I wish that these were a little bit more light weight. My husband bought me these for Christmas. I was so exited to use them. You def get a little volume but not so much curl. I got extra 1” smaller ones and those are good for maybe 15 minutes. I’ve tried these multiple ways with various different products and no such luck. The clips are horrible! The clips are bulky and get caught on each other, regardless of how you section the hair. You’ll need more curlers if you have a lot of hair for sure. I have fine hair and tried texture sprays, mouses, hairspray and no luck. I’ve had better luck with the Conairs than this.Nikki

I'm new to the heated roller world but after trying a different brand that didn't work on my hair, the T3 rollers are a great surprise! Truthfully I was ready to give up on curlers so glad I found these. Super easy to use, heat holds yet doesn't burn, and the curl looks very natural in a volumizing kind of way. I have short hair (slightly past my chin but not to shoulders) so the 8 rollers are perfect for my length. These are definitely not your mother's curlers! Would definitely reccommend.kg085

Maybe I got a bad bunch but these razors are useless. Very dull. Would not cut anything. I bought them for my eyebrows but they didn't work. I used my regular razor for comparison and it trimmed the hair just fine. I'm very disappointed in this product.PAULA

Ive tried other brands that I've seen at retail stores and these have been the sharpest, smallest and last the longest compared to those other brands. Each razor lasts me about 6 or 7 trims before getting very dull. They take eyebrow and lip hair off in the first glide, and its very easy to get in the small crevices like near my nose and eyes. Theyre small, sharp, inexpensive and come with covers that snap-on, so you can pop one in your make-up bag and carry one with you at all times.Karla

This is the cutest little bottle and the easiest application ever. So, when I am between colors – for a long time, and have a lot of gray roots, I can use this. I received Garnier Express Retouch in the shade Dark Brown. It shows up more like black on my roots and doesn't match my natural hair color at all. Thank goodness I sampled it on a section of my roots that weren't visible unless wearing it up in a ponytail. The applicator reminds me of a bottle of shoe polish. There is no shine to the product either. Gives a very flat unnatural look to the hair. The only reason I give it 3 stars is that it's easy to apply and not messy to use.mommymc1

So I recently did a big chop and I was going for a short wavy look. I purchased this curling iron and it works okay. I have naturally 3a hair type and this just did not get hot enough for my hair. The idea was their but just didn’t heat enough for the curl to hold without a lot of hair spray. I am giving this 3 stars because I think it would be perfect for someone who doesn’t require a lot of heat but myself 1 star unfortunately. Beachwaver 3b triple barrel waver is amazing! I've seen it used on long curly to start hair and my own short flat hair and it is amazing! Super easy to use. I have very fine light blonde hair on my upper lip and chin. I've found that over the last few years (I just turned 30), it looks a bit thicker and longer than it was in my youth– and I've started looking into ways to remove it as it is unsightly in the sun/selfies. I've tried waxing but it always left me with irritation. I also just started using a retinol so waxing is no longer an option. Tweezing would take forever, and going for threading at a salon is not an option during a pandemic. I was skeptical of this tool based on the very mixed reviews but I decided to give it a try and use the advice some of the reviewers left. I'm very pleased with the results and so far have not had any irritation! So here is what worked for me: -At first it did not work. But that was because I was a dummy and didn't clean my face first (moisturizer is not your friend in this circumstance). I used a baby wipe to wipe down my chin/lip and let it dry… and THEN it worked. I also kept the baby wipe on hand and wiped down the area as I went, and wiped the tool too to keep it clean and grippy. SO– use it on CLEAN skin with NO product. -It worked for me both in the direction of hair growth AND opposite hair growth, but was MORE effective when I held it upside down in a U shape and went UP on my face so it was pulling the hairs opposite the hair growth– and this manoeuvre felt similar to threading. -It did seem to break some of the very fine/shorter hairs, but for the most part it removed the longer hairs from the root. It did not remove ALL the hairs, but removed enough that it does not show up in close up selfies, and honestly looks more natural than waxing because there are still SOME teeny tiny hairs. -Once I got the hang of how to use it, it only took about 5 min to do my entire lip and chin. I found it was more effective the quicker I went, and was less painful than tweezing/waxing! I kept my slanted tweezers handy and ended up plucking a few stray hairs but it was QUICK!kaffeinejunkie

Turning the ARROWS simplified: with the Tweezerman LOGO FACING YOU; the handles must be turned INWARDS ( towards the center between the two handle ends) If the BLANK SIDE is FACING UP, the handles must be turned OUTWARDS (away from the center). One cannot just randomly pick up the remover and start turning because on one side the arrows face one direction and on the flip side the arrows face the opposite direction. Verify this for yourself! I couldn't figure out why one time it would work and the next it wouldn't – arrow turning directionality is the answer. Also, alternately turning of the handles works better than trying to turn them simultaneously. Use longer, non-curved side-bar for cheeks, chin, under-chin and forehead. I go two directions: firstly with the side-bar perpendicular to the ground, then again with it parallel to the ground. Using this cross cut method makes sure the job gets done. Use the curved area for smaller areas: under nose, around mouth, under eyebrows.Sharron B.

Thanks to this simple, handy hair remover I no longer waste money on threading my lip or face and find this technique with a coil more effective too. Yes there is a learning curve and anyone who says it doesn't work has not used it properly. Yes, the process is somewhat painful at first but as the hair is removed it becomes proportionally tolerable and indicates the area is done. This leaves the skin naturally hair-free looking versus the harsh lines waxing leaves behind. I purchased in 2018 and choose Tweezerman over cheap alternatives available from a major online 3rd party seller. This is part of my "holy grail" items. I have a condition which increases facial hair, so I'm constantly trying to groom my cheeks, chin, upper lip and neck so I don't have a beard. This little gizmo lets me self-groom without shelling a lot of money out for waxing/threading and without spending all my time in the bathroom staring at my face (honestly not staring at the mirror is a huge relief). I understand that does not mean the seller is Satanic but as a Catholic morally I can not keep this product. The hair bows looks beautiful but I didn’t not take them out of the package. I got this shaver for 2 reasons. I always have a hard time getting into the valley (on my armpits), and my kids are always running in the bathroom when I am in the tub. It is as if they have me cornered. I have a hard time getting privacy. So…The shaver definitely works. I have pretty fine blonde hair. It gives me a shave as if I shaved yesterday with a close razor. It takes away any visible hair, but you can still feel a little stubble to the touch. Shave in circular motions, and don't be afraid to press down a little. It was great for knees and ankles. I loved that I can get up close to the mirror to do my underarms. This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT

Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I just received her today and she's gorgeous! Cap and hair fiber feel lighter for RW HF wigs. I love that!!! Also the cap isn't huge like some of the other RW wigs. I love the extended lace front!! As usual, this brand does the lace front and mono top to perfection. This style is gorgeous! You have a range of options for parting! The curl pattern and length are perfect IMO. With HF wigs, you normally have to work with them to keep them feeling hydrated so they don't dry out, especially the ends. To wash these, I gently brush wig out and then I normally soak them in a bathroom sink full of cool water and 1 cap of fabric softener for 30 mins to an hour and swish around gently before removing from sink. I have rubber tipped clip hangers, like you use for hanging skirts, and hang to dry from back bottom edge of netted cap upside down to air dry. Then, after wig is completely dry, I gently use a wide tooth comb or wide tooth rubber wig brush and gently brush starting at bottom and work up. I also love RW shadow shades! So natural!!
