I like this product. I've been using it for a while. It definitely has a good hold on your hair without making it look like there's anything in your hair. I would recommend maybe adding some natural ingredients to make it smell a little better, if possible. Also, I don't know who did the wrapping, but filling up the entire box with confetti paper for a small container of this cream pomade was not the move. If it's like an environmentally friendly thing, I get it, but find a new option. The confetti paper is a mess and leaves behind a lot of paper powder all over everything inside the box and then it got on my hands and on the floor.S Merchant

Its aroma is quite similar to Fiber and its performance is what I would imagine a light gold version of that product to be. This would be great for medium to coarse hair in short styles that seek natural control without the need for major sculpting or manipulating. This is my first foray into pomades, and I was braced for something between a hair oil and the crunchy gels of the 80s. I was pleasantly surprised to find Cremo delivered something far better. This pomade is a solid hold, especially when worked through do hair, and it holds for 24 hours, if not longer. I've been able to mist water on my hair and comb it back into place after sleeping for a second day's hold. It doesn't have a strong smell, which is great — nothing to compete with my aftershave and cologne. This is the first time my fiancé is trying a styling paste, he usually uses hair glue for his hair. He found that the product was easy to use and work into his hair. The texture of the paste is really soft and not at all sticky or tacky. It however does not have as much hold as his usual hair glue. He actually has pretty thick hair to begin with so he couldn't tell if there was a thickening effect. However, he said he really loved the scent of product. I've tried a number of American Crew products and this one just doesn't work for me. It has less hold than the pomade, in my opinion, and leaves my hair looking greasy to the point that it looks like I've worked out and didn't shower afterwards. Anyone who dyes their hair copper knows that copper pigmented hair dye will not stay onto the hair particle for long. A brand new copper color hair do will last about a week or two before it fades into a honey brown color, and eventually a yellow-brown color. With this in mind, there are products that will help to prolong the dye coloration and slow down the fade process, and I turn to Redken shampoo every time​ to get the job done whenever I need to prolong my copper dye. I use this along with the Redken conditioner Color Extend and shampoo three x a week, conditioner once a week, and my copper pigmented color will last about 2 months before it fades onto a honey brown and eventually to a yellowish brown by the 4 months mark. I have a full head of hair but it was very fine hair. Nothing has EVER worked for my hair to stay up all day. I’ve tried clays, pomades, forte clay, and everything. I used this many years ago when I was relaxing my hair to smooth it while drying under hood dryers. When I transitioned to natural hair, I tried almost every product on the market until I got my hair cut and asked the stylist what she liked for natural hair. When she mentioned this product I remembered the results on relaxed hair so I bought some immediately. I wash and apply about a quarter size amount twice to my hair which is short on the sides and long on top. I can easily detangle the top and twist single curls all over; let them dry and pull apart the next day for fabulous curls that last the week. I still two strand twist them anyway at nite but there really is no need. My hair is thick 4B/C and this gives it moisture and shine. I also use a twist sponge with the product on the sides to make the curls pop – loads of compliments and looks of approval. The 8oz bottle will last months; a little goes a Loooonnnggg way.KP

I think I may have a bad batch. It's basically a solid bar of soap. Nothing like the video. There's no way to remove a dab. I have to pull the whole puck out of the can and lather it up in my hands with a little water like I'm washing my hands, then drop the block back in the can. Although hard to apply, it's is a great pomade! Holds up to the Texas heat and humidity. It will get a little crunchy towards the end of the day, but it's not bad. There is also some Murray's-like buildup after a few days that takes a couple shampoos to get out.Long C.

Suavecito is the best smelling pomade hands down. I use this particularly for work and it holds well all day. I have a gentleman’s cut combover and makes my cut look 10/10. This doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it seem thin and greasy. I alternate between a few pomades that I find occasion fitting. High shine, extra hold, a lot of sun or possible rain, certain pomades hold different and there’s one for all occasions. The consistency on the “light hold” is definitely “lighter” than the traditional suavecito which is fine and what I wanted. I didn’t want a hard hold and this is soft to medium hold. For best results-this should be applied specifically to showered dried hair. This should not be applied to damp or wet hair. Enjoy!michael .b

I just tried this out to style my old school crew cut. I find that it leaves my hair looking and feeling much more natural, smooth and shiny than the water based pomades. It's also really nice that it's reworkable throughout the day. Also, like everything suavecito makes…it smells amazing! Like everything in life, there are trade offs. As many have mentioned, this stuff does take a while to wash out even for me with a relatively short crew cut (about 1 to 1.5inches on top). I'd imagine the longer your hair, the more challenging it'd be to wash out.Tom

Amazing pomade my son has thick hair and I was first using the cremo pomade however after some months it was no longer holding his hair up and I searched for a new one and landed on this one. All I can say is that it’s AMAZING it hold his hair up in the style that he loves and leaves a shiny wet look on him if that’s what he wants if not he just combs it and the shine diminishes for a more natural look. I have been using this product for years (4-5 years). I have thick hair, and the strong hold was really the best. There is nothing "strong" about this product any longer, it has changed…why? It used to be thick and actually strong, not too shiny just perfect. Now it doesn't hold my thick hair in place, and just running your finger through the tub, you can tell it has changed, it's more like the original hold now. Y’know, these hair products are varied and it takes time and trials to find just the right product for you. This product works great for me. My hair is very fine but very dense. By that I mean each hair is silky and fine but there are tons of them. The liquid version of this is good too but gives a firmer result. I often combine them a bit. A little, like dime-sized dollop works great on my relatively short haircut. Not very expensive and it works well for me. I hope it works the same for you!DC

I used to love this product and I've used it for years. Like another customer review on here, I also think the product has changed and for the worse, unfortunately. The other review was from the UK, but I'm in the USA and I'm seeing a change as well. I've tried two different retailers and both purchases had the same quality issues. It used to be more solid to the touch and now it is much more gooey. It doesn't hold my hairstyle nearly as well as it used to. I received the Living Proof full thickening mousse free for review from PINCHme and I've honestly really enjoyed this product. This mousse is said to boost volume while holding your style and I would definitely agree with that claim. Its lightweight and smells quite nice. It's not a super airy mousse but it's not super dense either. It doesn't evaporate right away but it's not heavy or sticky at all. I have pretty long hair so instead of the standard egg size I typically use maybe two egg size dallops. It has been way too hot and humid here lately to do much with my hair, and while the directions say to blow-dry, I just can't. I apply it to my damp hair right after my shower and then I tie it up in a bun. When it's fully dry and I let it down, it's so full of volume and the texture is lovely. The waves are beautiful and they do hold all day. Many products of this type cause my hair to get frizzy and almost static like but this one doesn't do that. I get no flyaways or frizz with this mousse and my hair smells so great. It's a nice, light clean smell, very subtle. I've really enjoyed using this product and I would definitely recommend it. Oh, and I like the packaging as well. The button you press to dispense the mousse is a nice solid button. For those of us that have hands and fingers that might not work so well, I had no issues.ARain

For Baby Fine Hair People: This works! It's the only product I've found that actually makes my genuinely baby fine hair look thicker and appear to have some body. The effect lasts all day and onto the next if you decide not to wash your hair every day. I use it sparingly and blow dry carefully though, because it does make your hair a little stickier before it's dried. That can cause baby fine hair to break when combing. So use it, be very gentle when combing or brushing, and enjoy. This product works better for my baby fine hair than the Living Proof Full Thickening Cream. I found that product to be too greasy and it weighs my baby fines down. I wrote a long review about the LP Thickening Cream and dealing with baby fine hair in case that's helpful to anyone. My one complaint about LP products, or any in general, is fragrance. I'm picky about scents and would never wear this scent as a perfume, so why would I want it anywhere on my body? I wish all these products had a fragrance-free version.asnetall

On Baby Fine Hair and this product: I have real baby fine hair. Lots of people talk about having baby fine hair, but really don't. It's a mixed blessing. Straight baby fine hair is so smooth that clips, bands, etc. can slide out of it unless there's silicone on the inside of a clip to grip the hair. If your baby fine hair is light in color, it may be almost see-through when backlit. This is not great if you want to feel like you have a nice full head of hair. If you take a strand of baby fine hair and hold it parallel to the floor, the strand itself is such a small diameter that it forms almost a sharp 90-degree angle hanging straight down from the edge of your fingers; no curve of any sort as it hangs down. It's hard for straight baby fine hair to hold a curl unless you do harsh stuff to make it hold. That, in turn, damages your hair. Almost any processing damages baby fine hair. It's also very easy to break strands of baby fine hair so you have to comb or brush carefully. Baby fine hair will blow everywhere if there's the slightest breeze. In my case, that means I've always got messy hair. Light baby fine hair is a pain if it gets blown onto your face or into your eyelashes. You can feel it's there, but it's hard to see the individual delicate strands and hard to detect them with your fingers. That's the scoop on baby fines. You live with it and figure out how to deal with it. BUT, straight baby fine hair can be so shiny and smooth that it can look and feel as luxurious as silk when it's in good condition. Like babies' hair! This can be lovely if your hair is thick enough. I've tried this product as directed with bad results. The product is too oily or thick even when put on extremely sparingly, so it weighs my hair down, making it look unwashed and stringy. So, I decided to try to use it as a rinse after shampooing, and have had better luck. I distribute it throughout the hair from roots to tips and then rinse it out. Baby fine hair people will feel a kind of stickiness or roughness once it is rinsed out, and will have to comb their hair carefully so as not to break it, but it adds product in just the right amount for real baby fine hair to have some bounce and look thicker without weighing it down or making it look greasy. It's not going to be a dramatic difference though. I have had far better luck with the Living Proof Thickening Mousse. After trying what feels like hundreds of conditioners, mousses and creams that did nothing, LP Mousse has been my go-to product. It's the only product I've found that makes my hair look thicker and that lasts all day looking great. It makes me feel almost like I have normal-people-hair! But I take breaks. I found that blow-drying damages my hair too easily, and the mousse, although super effective at making my hair look thicker and giving it more body, makes my hair sticky enough that I break hair easily, even when combing gently. So, Baby Fine Sisters take note. You have to handle your hair really gently with these products. Personally, I'd opt for the LP mousse over the cream, and be gentle with my hair. I have used the American Crew Fiber and Pomade. This product, the "Forming Cream" I would describe as the middle, the perfect balance. My hair is thick, somewhat coarse, yet soft. I wear my hair short, almost like a buzz and usually let it grow longer so that I can comb it over (by longer I'm talking 4-5 inches on the top, sometimes more). What I didn't like about Fiber is that it can be too clay like and usually made my hair too stiff. I found fiber to work best the shorter my hair was, but even then it was a super strong and stiff hold. It was actually working as intended, but not to my liking. What I didn't like about Pomade was the high shine and depending on how much used, greasy feel to my hair. And once again, you buy Pomade for the shine, so working as intended but not to my liking.dipen.p

The smell is amazing- light but not overpowering. I am sensitive to fragrance but this does not bother me. Every time I use it my spouse comments on the love of the scent. Overall this product works really nice. I don't like to add to much to my thick hair as normal products leave my hair greasy and heavy. The Kerastase left no build up and increased shine which held for days after blow drying and straightening. I tried leaving in overnight before blow drying and blow drying right away. Although results were better blow drying right away. Waiting still gave good results. This product is my absolute favorite out of the bunch. Once I put this into my hair, I am impressed by how voluminous my hair looks and feels softer than ever. I had the chance to try Kerastase Genesis Spray De Force Epaississant Thickening Spray (spritz). To be honest, I really looked forward to using the Spray De Force Epaississant each morning. Firstly because the aroma was just so nice! And also the spray gave my hair a firm hold. These were just side benefits, because the big bonus was my hair just felt fuller. It may have been the combination of this plus the Kerastase Genesis Homme Bain De Force Quotiden (shampoo) I was using, but my hair did feel more thick. One slight bummer was that the Spray De Force Epaississant felt a little more water-ey that my usual spritz, that is to say, my hair felt more wet. I think this is because the spray nozzle sends out the Spray De Force Epaississant in more of a stream than a mist. The American Crew Boost Powder really works wonders! I was amazed when I used it for the first time. My hair is dead straight and would usually need a strong clay to hold my hair and even then it tends to loose its form. With the boost powder my hair stays exactly how I place it and I can style it how I want. The best thing is that I can change the style throughout the day if I want and that unlike with wax or clay, one gets a natural high look and not shiny or a gel look. I've used this product for almost a year now and it's … beyond wonderful. First of all, Moroccan Oil is the best. It smells great, it feels great, it makes me commit (which is hard to do). I had previously bought the hard styling gel for my husband and he was blown away! Moroccan Oil Molding Cream is the best product I have found for my hair. I have several cowlicks and very thin hair. When I use the molding cream, I can style my hair and it looks full and stays in place without using other products. It does not feel sticky. Overall not a bad hair product, and gives you the light hold it advertises. I tried it on both wet and dry hair and the results are a bit different. If you want to get a bit more hold I'd say apply it while your hair is still damp. If you're just looking to tame flyaways and freshen up your hair go for it dry. Only slight negative is the scent. Has a distinct barber shop kind of scent, which is not my taste but I know a lot of guys will probably like it. Pretty nice cream! Definitely has a better hold than it gives itself credit for. Only need a small amount, meaning it will last a long time. Although I was actually hoping for a lighter hold and lighter cream. Don't love the smell, smells a bit chemical-y, like most hair gels/sprays, but you don't smell it once it's in your hair and you've washed your hands. My scalp generally seems to like the stuff but it is way too early to make any kind of assessment about regrowth/loss prevention. It doesnt foam as much as other shampoos but it doesn’t need to. Oh, and my gf commented, unprompted, that she likes the smell of my hair. All in all, I’ll certainly be buying it again and probably supplement it with evening doses of the Scandinavian Biolabs serum (when I remember).Anonymous

M2 has been my favourite styling product for a while. It’s definitely medium to light hold, but it works well with my hair and leaves a really natural look throughout the day. No residue, flakes, or oiliness whatsoever, and it washes out easily with SH2. It also smells great. I have sensitive skin and can react to some products, but no worries here. It might look pricey but it lasts ages and the ingredients are top notch. Let’s face it, all the Patricks stuff looks cool in the bathroom too.Anonymous
