This stuff has an awful smell but works wonders on my hair!!! My hair was so damaged and wouldn’t stop breaking off which caused the bottoms to become so thin. After using this product my hair is now so much healthier and no longer thins out at the ends. My hair feels soft and there’s way less breakage. How I use it: after shampooing and rinsing I towel dry my hair. Then I apply the first step to my hair and put a generous Amount all over until every strand is covered. Then I blow dry my hair for a few minutes to activate the product. Then I wait for my hair to completely dry and when it does my hair is as stiff as a broom. Then I rinse it out and follow with step two, leave the moisturizer in for 2 minutes then rise and use a hair mask after and leave that in for an hour and rinse. I use it every 4 weeks! Can’t give this enough stars! I have been wearing my natural curls for a couple years now, and for a while they seemed really nice and healthy, but for the last year it’s been a mess. This review is for the rice water bars, and I never really write reviews because, honestly, most products I try aren't that great. I have long pink hair which has been bleached and colored for several years. I love this conditioner. I’m mixed & have curly hair that’s finicky but this conditioner works wonders. I just wish it didn’t break apart so quickly! I have all these little broken off pieces that I then have to try & smash up into a paste in the shower which is annoying, particularly because I have health issues which make that difficult (dexterity wise & because I’m not supposed to shower longer than 5 minutes.) I struggle with conditioners. I have very long hair (to my tailbone), and it’s very fine and fragile but easily weighed down. This is one of my favorites I keep in my shower. I love the way it smells, lathers and makes my hair feel afterwards. I like to use this at least once a week, then I squeeze all excess water out and use the Keratin mask in my hair working it from my ends up to my scalp and twisting it on top of my head allowing it to set while I finish my shower and rinse out in cooler water, followed with the keratin conditioner mainly on my ends while I exfoliate or go back over with my favorite body wash and then rinse. This combo really strengthens your hair, giving it elasticity, shine, promotes growth, helps with frizz. I have curly hair and it really does help those ends and volume did I saw strength, lol. I had read reviews and the marketing for this brand and I wanted to give it a shot. I went with this particular shampoo to try because it seemed best fitted for my hair type which is straight, shoulder length that gets a bit frizzy after blow drying and styling. When I was my hair with this shampoo, I can feel the difference. It is easier to style and it holds a nice smooth style with no friz. It stays well too. I generally wash my hair every other day, but I can easily take it an extra day and not even tough it up. I work out a lot and it still stays great after being in a ponytail and sweating. Been using these packets for years. You have to use a small amount on your hair, you cannot use the entire packet at once or else your hair will be flat & greasy looking. I have dark shoulder length thick wavy frizzy hair & I usually use a dime sized to a quarter sized amount into my hand & I only use it on the ends of my hair. One packet can last me approximately 3 to 5 washes. Never put this on the crown or above the ends or it will make your hair flat. Rinse it out, then air dry your hair & when it's still damp but almost dry use an ionic hair dryer while your head is flipped upside down to give it body. Once my hair is dry I then use a flat iron on it as I have a shoulder length "lob" hairdo. Everyone has different hair types but for my hair it works good as long as I do not use too much.AngieO
This product is a staple in my haircare regimen. I have very dry coarse hair that tends to be frizzy. This product really works! There is a very noticeable difference in my hair it makes it smooth, shiny, and very healthy looking. I try to use it as often as possible. The consistency is very thick and creamy so a little goes a long way but it does not seem to weigh my hair down and make it feel greasy. Also has a very pleasant scent. No, that’s not a hyperbole, I literally bleached my hair 8 times. I struggled to get that platinum blonde and fried my hair in the process. But let me tell you something, my saving grace was this little miracle packet right here. It was after bleaching session 5, and my curls were gummy and limp. Legit cried, picked up a packet of this and promised if this didn’t work I’d just cut my hair. This treatment was made for extremely damaged hair situations so why not? YALL. Can’t give this enough stars! I have been wearing my natural curls for a couple years now, and for a while they seemed really nice and healthy, but for the last year it’s been a mess. Every time I wash my hair I have springy, super defined curls, but as soon as it has dried it instantly looked dry, limp, stretched out and would feel rough to the touch. It used to be low porosity but I think it’s become high porosity for various reasons. I’ve tried tons of products trying to get my hair back to what it was, all kinds of stylers, protein deep conditioners, and olaplex. The conditioners and olaplex made my hair look super defined when it was wet, but it still dried and stretched out by the first evening. Finally I decided to give this a try and it made a MASSIVE difference in just one use. It’s been 2 days since I washed my hair and used this and my curls are still glossy, and defined like they used to be. I haven’t been able to stop touching my hair because it feels so much softer and smoother than it has the past year. I bleached my hair, toned it, and then after six weeks, I re-toned it. Decided to bleach my roots twice, and then (because I had absolutely no other choice) I put a box dye on top of it to cover the orange before my job the next day (Sally was already closed, or I would've done a demi-permanent root smudge). After that, because I hated the box dye, I put purple semi-permanent color on it, but it was too dark, so I tried to remove it with the baking soda method (it worked) but it destroyed my hair. Like, destroyed DESTROYED. Anyway, I've used this twice now, and the complete turnaround my hair has seen after ALL of that is INCREDIBLE!! I can brush my hair without clumps falling out. So thankful for this. I do think it is better than Olaplex. However, I do think if you use it too much when you don't need it, you'll cause more breakage. If your hair isn't as severely damaged as mine, I wouldn't use it as frequently, maybe once a month.

I used this for the first time last night along with the smoothing shampoo. After applying the conditioner my hair immediately felt softer and seemed to absorb the moisture. It rinsed very easily There was no film on my hair that I could feel or see. My hair was very smooth and silky and had a very healthy shine. My hair is very thick and coarse and extremely dry prone to frizziness. It worked wonderfully for my hair type and the fragrance was not at all unpleasant. This product attracted me because it was free from sulfates, parabens, gluten, etc and had keratin. The contents looked good but I'm not saying all the contents are great, there are some silicones, but I decided to try it having not had great success with many other products. My hair is very curly but can be smoothed out easily. I needed a product which helped nourish my hair but didn't result in my hair becoming very dry the day after washing and conditioning. I now use this product in a co-washing manner. I do not use shampoo just wash with this conditioner. First completely soaking the hair with the water, then washing very thoroughly with the Hask Keratin Protein conditioner, then leaving what remains on the hair as I shower. I then rinse it off, dry hair with a micro fibre towel only, to avoid roughing up cuticle with ordinary towel. I then rub a small blob of the same Hask Keratin Protein conditioner between my hands and smooth all over my hair before completing the drying. I do use heat to smooth out my hair. I now find my hair stays smoother for a few days like this (unless it rains!) and definitely controls frizz very well. Have had comments that my hair looks really nice, smoother and shinier. It doesnt moisturize my hair but It is also an additional heat protection so it makes my life easier to not constantly try to buy a seperate heat protectant for styling. It doesnt do much hydration at all but it does the job for a tiny extra bit of moisture. If youre someone that has low perosity hair i don’t recommend as it doesnt have much hydration properties at all but maybe for someone who has an oily scalp and want a more lightweight product this may be the one for you. I like to try new leave-in conditioners. Hardly ever buy any twice. I will be purchasing this again & again. Great for detangling hair. I let my hair air dry and leaves it soft, straight and smooth. When you have curly hair, you get tired of always having to style it with 15 products at a time (exaggerating of course). Sometimes you just want to wash it and be done, while looking good enough to go out in public. This is my go-to for those kinds of days. I have been using this line of healthy sexy hair products for years. I switched to another shampoo a few years ago though after they changed their soy moisturizing shampoo to some garbage that had nothing but oils in it. They removed literally all of the cleansing agents and it left my hair so greasy. It was awful. However, I stuck with the leave-in conditioner up until a couple weeks ago. They've now changed their formula on that too. They've changed it before, but it still worked. But whatever they've put in the bottle now is just terrible. I had a suspicion something was different after noticing the bottle had changed (since that seems to be the bat signal equivalently of "we've completely ruined your favorite product"), but after one use I could tell something was off. My hair felt dry and frizzy, and my blonde looked brassy. There was no life to my hair AT ALL. I will seriously never understand why companies change their formula on perfectly good products. It seems to happen with literally everything I find that I like – I'll fall in love with it, use it for a few years, then BAM! CHANGED! Sooo aggravating. This product is a staple in my haircare regimen. I have very dry coarse hair that tends to be frizzy. This product really works! There is a very noticeable difference in my hair it makes it smooth, shiny, and very healthy looking. I try to use it as often as possible. The consistency is very thick and creamy so a little goes a long way but it does not seem to weigh my hair down and make it feel greasy. Also has a very pleasant scent. I have natural/4a hair. I used this product after taking down a 6 week protective. I started off by shampooing with the TGIN Rosewater hydrating shampoo ( Which I LOVE). After that, I applied this protein treatment for about 10-15 mins. I immediately followed up with the TGIN Moisture Deep Conditioning Mask.. it left my hair feeling amazingly healthy.My hair went from feeling limp and brown to shedding and breakage, to strong and resilient to shedding & breakage. For anyone who doesn't know- protein treatments HAVE TO BE USED WITH A HYDRATING/ MOISTURIZING conditioner as the second step. I am wearing my hair curly and it's hard to tell if my hair is stronger. It did leave my hair feeling dry and I left it in without heat for thirty minutes under a shower cap wrapped in a bath towel. I have been experiencing a lot of split ends, breakage along the shaft and just overall not happy with my hair journey so I am praying for good results. Use this in my 1 yr old’s fine, curly hair as a daily moisturizer along with aloe vera juice and essential oils. I also use it to style her hair, either method keeps her curls soft, moisturized and detangled, while helping to hold her style in place. My texture is thick and curly and my hair has the same results. I do not use it to hold my styles as my texture is too thick and requires more hold. Bought to try something new after using Olaplex 6 for many years. This product does a similar job, and feels lighter in texture. Feel like I retain more volume with this Kevin Murphy product as opposed to Olaplex 6, while also killing frizz and my hair feeling soft, which is a great combo for me. I must say that I am not a huge celebrity endorser but I must say Mr. Mondo that every product that you have created has been fabulous! I am in love with the super gloss. I use it right after I shower and I blow dry my hair to rough it up a little bit, that ensures it will be ready to soak up the goodness that is enriched in the product, and then I heavily cost my hair starting at the ends and working towards the root. Then I use a plastic head cap and let is sit for about an hour. I know, I know! It says like 20 minutes, but I am an overachiever. Lol Plus it never hurts to leave it on a little bit longer. My hair is already colored with Brad's Super Blue and Super Purple and this product not only makes your hair shiny but it locks in that color.
