I bought this because time is short with a 1 year old in the house so trimming is not currently an option. Here’s the lowdown. It’s £9, stinks of rotting flesh. Tried shoulders, hips and feet. Of which the latter two – nothing happened. Shoulders were patchy – not even 1/3 came off. Apparently results only last 5-7. Which begs the question- why bother even if it did work? Okay, this is probably going to be a little bit of an embarrassing review. I feel that sometimes it's super important to do one of those every now and again. So I went online to look at YouTubers who have tried different hair removal creams. I have very coarse hair on my legs, armpits, and the nether regions. I came across this guy who uses this in his sensitive areas. He said that he also had coarse hair and that normally he gets bad ingrown hairs when he shaves down there. I thought, if it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me. So I ordered mine online through Amazon and waited for it to come. When it finally came I ripped open the package, read the directions, and prepped myself for pure pain! I've tried nair down below and I thought my who-he was going to completely burn off! First thing I noticed that I liked is that it was a thicker formula so where I put it is where it stayed. Second thing, is the smell isn't their initially but as it starts burning the hair off, it's not the greatest smell. Most creams don't smell good and I'm okay with that. I first tried it for the minimum 3 minutes… That did nothing! Since I'm not a first time hair cream removal person, I knew to try it for a little bit longer and give it another shot. I waited 24 hours so I didn't have any reactions on my skin and the next day I put it on for about 4 minutes 30 seconds. I checked a small portion before fully removing it and I left it on for another 30 seconds. Apparently this is allowed to stay on for 6 minutes total. When I left it on for 5 minutes, It did amazing! I've been using it on all areas that have hair and it's done a great job for me! I always have ingrown hairs and so far, nothing! I'm going to continue to use this for the next couple months and see if I still feel the same way. I'm pretty happy about this, I also decided to try it on the rear end. It had been decades since I used hair remover product. I decided to try it again. It is advertised as 27% less chemical ingredients than the previous formula. Wow, this stuff is amazing. MUCH different than what I've tried years ago. This is a nice pump bottle and the cream comes out as cream. Not watery or seperated. Came out as cream. Even has a little cap to prevent an unwanted pump. The spong it came with makes so much sense. I sit over the side of my bath tub when using this. You totally don't have to, but I do. So first I apply cream to the yellow softer side of sponge and rub all over my legs. Then after 6 minutes I use the slightly rougher white side of sponge to wipe away. Leaves my legs hairless, smooth and moisturized. There is no chemical smell, no need to vent the bathroom, no headache. Nothing like I remeber. Has a nice light clean violet scent This stuff rocks! I feel confident enough to let my pre tween daughter to use it too.
Upon first look the description on the bottle is very deceiving. It specifically says “in shower hair removal cream”. Reading that you would think you could use 100% in the shower. Because the product is wrapped in plastic to keep the sponge attached you can’t read the instructions until after purchase and opening. The instruction state that you apply before your shower and wait 3 minutes and than shower without a direct stream on product. I do like that it does actually work and the sponge is nice to get the product off of you good. It really does work well and leaves my legs soft. I get horrible razor burn on the inside of my upper legs and bikini line when shaving, so was excited to try this as a shaving alternative. Upon opening the product, I noticed that the smell was not as terrible as other products I have used. You apply the product with a little sponge the size of your palm. You have to make sure the hair you want to remove is completely covered, so just my entire upper legs seemed to take a lot of product. Once you apply, you have to leave it on for 6 – 10 minutes, so make time for this before your shower. Once you get in the shower, you are able to wipe the hair off with the same sponge. I applied this on leg hair that had been shaved 2 days prior, and it seemed to do a really spotty job. I ended up having to shave to catch the hairs that weren’t removed, so I was not super impressed with the end result. Maybe it is made for longer hair? Once you apply, you have to leave it on for 6 – 10 minutes, so make time for this before your shower. Once you get in the shower, you are able to wipe the hair off with the same sponge. I applied this on leg hair that had been shaved 2 days prior, and it seemed to do a really spotty job. I ended up having to shave to catch the hairs that weren’t removed, so I was not super impressed with the end result. Maybe it is made for longer hair? This shampoo is okay, it really isn’t the best. I have a sensitive scalp, along with thinning, dry hair due to bleaching it and as this has almond oil in I thought it might do well. The smell is nice and fresh, however the day after shampooing, my hair was greasy and looked like it hadn’t been washed at all! After debating for a while I decided that I would try hair removal cream instead of shaving. I have used some in the past and have always been out off by the smell. This one didn’t have the usual smell, in fact it was quite pleasant. I did the patch test and with no adverse affects I decided that it was time to do it. Due to lockdown I had large amount of hair on my legs and knew that shaving this would be a long task but using the hair removal cream made it nice and easy. It’s simple to apply, I left it for the full length of time and was impressed with the results. Unlike with shaving I had no red bumps on my legs. I did find that my legs didn’t feel as smooth as they would be with shaving but I put this down to it being the first time in a couple of months where hair was removed. There was also some spots where it didn’t remove the hair at all but I applied a small amount of extra cream and it then removed the other hairs. Usually my hair grows back very quickly but it has been over a week and I have noticed that it is significantly shorter than it would normally be after this length of time if I had shaved.Bethw97
I wasn’t really impressed. It didn’t remove much hair on my lower leg. The upper portion of my leg more around my knee was so smooth, but the lower half was not. I ended up having to shave after. Now after the shave my legs were the smoothest they have ever been. I do like the spatula it comes with! Super helpful to put on the cream and remove it without getting it all over my hands. Maybe I had a bad bottle, but the straw inside (which pumps up the product) went less than half way down the bottle. I didn't notice this until the pump stopped working when the bottle was still over half full. I could tell from the shape of the straw at the end that it hadn't snapped so it was put in like that. now very very messy to get any product out so I just gave up and threw it away. What can I say, this does exactly what it says it will. Took off ALL the hair and left me silky smooth. Top tip: I would recommend doing a patch test first, leaving it on for the max time (as long as you don't feel any irritation), but then wait a good 48 hours before you delve straight in and do the whole bush and undercarriage. I didn't and regretted it massively. I was on FIRE! My own silly fault though for going over the same area twice in 24 hours and lesson learnt! My only issue with this product is the smoothness doesn't last long enough for me, it's akin to shaving really. But while I was hairless, it was heaven! Plus with salons closed it really is the next best thing. Also I had no uncomfortable itching with regrowth like I have with shaving. So easy to apply, just whack it on, wait up to 6 mins then jump in the shower and wipe it off. I used a face cloth – now dedicated for my nether regions. I have taken one star off because the tube isn't very big. I'm not that hairy, but I think I will struggle to get three applications out of this so for the price its quite expensive, especially as I'd want to use it every 1 to 2 weeks to stay smooth. I popped this on the under carriage, left it , checked it and left it a little longer and washed it off. Yes, it has the usual hair remover smell but it is tempered somewhat by the soothing rose oil. Results are very good, smooth, no pain and good hair removal. Very small amount of stubble where I did not put it thick enough – but will get this next time. Easier and cheaper than waxing. I usually get waxed in a salon but was curious to try this as I can't at the moment and it was the first one I have seen that said it was suitable for a Hollywood style removal. I found it worked well for bikini / Brazilian areas but not so well for Hollywood where it didn't remove much. I was not keen to try reaplying in case of burning though. I do not have particularly sensitive skin and didn't have any major reactions to it but am quite stingy and a little sore afterwards in some places. It feels a bit too risky for me and seems very easy to really mess your skin up if using it regularly. It had been decades since I used hair remover product. I decided to try it again. It is advertised as 27% less chemical ingredients than the previous formula. Wow, this stuff is amazing. MUCH different than what I've tried years ago. This is a nice pump bottle and the cream comes out as cream. Not watery or seperated. Came out as cream. Even has a little cap to prevent an unwanted pump. The spong it came with makes so much sense. I sit over the side of my bath tub when using this. You totally don't have to, but I do. So first I apply cream to the yellow softer side of sponge and rub all over my legs. Then after 6 minutes I use the slightly rougher white side of sponge to wipe away. Leaves my legs hairless, smooth and moisturized. There is no chemical smell, no need to vent the bathroom, no headache. Nothing like I remeber. Has a nice light clean violet scent This stuff rocks! I feel confident enough to let my pre tween daughter to use it too.
Upon first look the description on the bottle is very deceiving. It specifically says “in shower hair removal cream”. Reading that you would think you could use 100% in the shower. Because the product is wrapped in plastic to keep the sponge attached you can’t read the instructions until after purchase and opening. The instruction state that you apply before your shower and wait 3 minutes and than shower without a direct stream on product. It has been years since I used a Hair product. I hated the smell and had concerns about chemicals I was applying to my skin. I decided to try again as I have sensitive skin. I went with this particular product so I wouldn't have to use my hands and hoping Aloe in this product would help with any sensitivity that may occur. The biggest thing I noticed after use is that my hair very noticeably started to grow back two days after. Just use to seeing it appear a couple of days after I shave. Back in the 1970s I was a teenager and Nair was THE ONLY THING that we used for hairy teenage legs. The stuff stank! My friend once shmeared some of it on her legs and then touched her closed eye by mistake and didn't have eyelashes or her right eyebrow for a whole month. So, I guess the stuff works. Flash forward to 2022 and I see this stuff on sale here at iHerb and I thought to myself, "Hey, it's been 50 years, they must have done something to make it smell better." They haven't. But it still works beautifully. And you know what, you have to have it on for 3 to 5 minutes, no longer than 10. I can live through that for the clear, hairless skin I want. I bought this cream for my bikini line as I get bad razor burns from shaving. I didn't expect much as when I've used these types of cream before they haven't been great and I have sensitive skin so it burnt. I put a thick layer on after a bath using the spatula provided and removed it after 5 minutes. I have to say I am very impressed as it removed pretty much all the hair it was on. It does have that smell all these creams have but definitely wasn't as strong as usual.helen.m

These waxing strips smell lovely and it was really easy to use (once I became committed) I love how it came with sheets to wipe away the wax and my sensitive skin hasn't reacted which was a big surprise for me and one of the reasons I avoided waxing in the past. Since I was looking for a way to reduce the regrowth time of my underarm and bikini line hair, seeing this in a sensitive formula made the product seem very appealing. Shaving left me with very irritated skin and I was very nervous about nicks and razor burn, so the price of this product encouraged me to buy it over opting for waxing. The curved nozzle of the bottle made this product very easy to apply, and the scent is very delicate, feeling like less of a perfume that could irritate. Unfortunately, I found that this product took much more than one application to truly show results. The first time I used it, I was left with hairs that appeared to have been broken in two a millimetre or two from the hair follicle, or some patches that would not budge when using the plastic removal spade. 24 hours is required between applications, so I left it two days and I found my hair grew back very quickly, nearly quicker than if I had simply shaved. Upon the second application, I found more hair was removed and closer to the follicle, yet it still grew back within a day or so. I don't think I would outright recommend this product to a friend, but if you're willing to give it a try, it's only a 5 to 10 minutes application which is easy to find in a day somewhere and it's much cheaper than a wax. Keep in mind that the first time you use it, the results may not be very successful, but it seems to be more effective with continued use.lisamcc

Not sure what the bad reviews are all about, but I love this product. I have coarse hair and over the years have over-shaved (shaved past where I needed to) and shaved incorrectly, and in the opposite direction. I thought I was doomed to get waxes forever or save up for laser hair removal, but alas! Anyways, I have tried nair several times and immediately after applying felt tingling and burning. Never left it on long enough to see results. It also did not come with a sponge, so it was messy and the smell made my body wreak of rubber until my next shower. Yuck. Nair burned so much I wouldn't dare put it near my bikini area. Veet on the other hand exceeded my expectations. It comes with a sponge making the experience so much easier and tidy. No product is perfect but I'd say 95% of my unwanted body hair is gone (bikini, under arms, legs, stomach). I left it on for 12-13 minutes, and didn't get any type of chemical burn or irritation. I've always been a shaver but I had gotten tired of the razor bumps, prickly little hairs that hurt when they start to grow back, and the dark spots that are left from the razor bumps. I watched one of Taina's videos on YouTube and she recommended this as an alternative to shaving and that was some of the best advice for hair removal I've had. It is so quick and easy to use and does not hurt at all. It starts working instantly as you can see the hair shrivel up. It does stink like sulfur so I recommended cleaning the area you applied it on really well. The results are a super smooth area where it looks like hair was never there. I've only used it once which was almost two months ago and it still looks like I've just recently shaved. Only minimal hair has grown back which is amazing because I can now wear sleeveless tops without feeling embarrassed or thinking I forgot to shave. Works great. Doesn't even seem to "burn"/sting on skin like the older forumlations did. Only problems I found were its very difficult to rinse off the residue – soap and showe gel didn't shift it so I resorted to washing up liquid (!) in the end, which did the job. Also it doesn't break up easily in water so can clog sink/shower plughole if not careful. All in all though, recommended just shame about the high price.scaredbear
I didn’t like this hair removal cream. It didn’t remove all the hair fully and left a stubbly feeling. Also I don’t know if this is just because I have sensitive skin but when the hair started to regrow it caused a lot of ingrown hairs and some got infected. That put me off trying it again. So probably not good for people with sensitive skin.RobertS13

After debating for a while I decided that I would try hair removal cream instead of shaving. I have used some in the past and have always been out off by the smell. This one didn’t have the usual smell, in fact it was quite pleasant. I did the patch test and with no adverse affects I decided that it was time to do it. Due to lockdown I had large amount of hair on my legs and knew that shaving this would be a long task but using the hair removal cream made it nice and easy. It’s simple to apply, I left it for the full length of time and was impressed with the results. Unlike with shaving I had no red bumps on my legs. I did find that my legs didn’t feel as smooth as they would be with shaving but I put this down to it being the first time in a couple of months where hair was removed. There was also some spots where it didn’t remove the hair at all but I applied a small amount of extra cream and it then removed the other hairs. Usually my hair grows back very quickly but it has been over a week and I have noticed that it is significantly shorter than it would normally be after this length of time if I had shaved.Bethw97
I wasn’t really impressed. It didn’t remove much hair on my lower leg. The upper portion of my leg more around my knee was so smooth, but the lower half was not. I ended up having to shave after. Now after the shave my legs were the smoothest they have ever been. I do like the spatula it comes with! Super helpful to put on the cream and remove it without getting it all over my hands. It didn’t break out my skin at all which was also super nice as I’m sensitive to almost everything. I may attempt again and update my review! Would love to hear others thoughts or tricks. I only used cream before, maybe 15 years ago and it was horrible! First, the smell was horrendous, then was the itch and burn, the skin was irritated and all the experience wasn't a pleasure. Nowadays however, the ingredients changed, leaving you with the best possible experience! The cream's scent doesn't give you unpleasant face expression, no irritation whatsoever, no red dots all over your leg, skin stay smooth and soft, no ingrowing hair and the most important – soft, thinner hair grows back.
