I have had a dermaflash for about 4 years. I love it. But the blades are a bit expensive ($29 for 4). I wanted to try to find a similar, cheaper alternative. I really liked this one. I bought this because time is short with a 1 year old in the house so trimming is not currently an option. Here’s the lowdown. It’s £9, stinks of rotting flesh. Tried shoulders, hips and feet. Of which the latter two – nothing happened. Shoulders were patchy – not even 1/3 came off. Apparently results only last 5-7. Which begs the question- why bother even if it did work? Okay, this is probably going to be a little bit of an embarrassing review. I feel that sometimes it's super important to do one of those every now and again. So I went online to look at YouTubers who have tried different hair removal creams. I have very coarse hair on my legs, armpits, and the nether regions. I came across this guy who uses this in his sensitive areas. He said that he also had coarse hair and that normally he gets bad ingrown hairs when he shaves down there. I thought, if it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me. So I ordered mine online through Amazon and waited for it to come. When it finally came I ripped open the package, read the directions, and prepped myself for pure pain! I've tried nair down below and I thought my who-he was going to completely burn off! First thing I noticed that I liked is that it was a thicker formula so where I put it is where it stayed. Second thing, is the smell isn't their initially but as it starts burning the hair off, it's not the greatest smell. Most creams don't smell good and I'm okay with that. I first tried it for the minimum 3 minutes… That did nothing! Since I'm not a first time hair cream removal person, I knew to try it for a little bit longer and give it another shot. I waited 24 hours so I didn't have any reactions on my skin and the next day I put it on for about 4 minutes 30 seconds. I checked a small portion before fully removing it and I left it on for another 30 seconds. Apparently this is allowed to stay on for 6 minutes total. When I left it on for 5 minutes, It did amazing! I've been using it on all areas that have hair and it's done a great job for me! I always have ingrown hairs and so far, nothing! I'm going to continue to use this for the next couple months and see if I still feel the same way. I'm pretty happy about this, I also decided to try it on the rear end. I got this for a few hairs that are starting to sprout above my upper lip (don't get old, folks!). I purchased it because this was specifically 'for the face', and was worried about such a sensitive area. I would advised, especially for your first time , using this product to cut the time in half. The box said 5-7 minutes. After 4, the hair was already gone (still completely gone 2 weeks later with no signs of growing back yet), but I was still irritated. Slight redness that went away within the hour, and the next day a little skin dryness/flaking. Nothing major–it was remedied with a good face wash and some lotion. Next time I'll cut back to about 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. Now, keep in mind that I am VERY fair skinned, the hairs that were growing in were a dark blonde to light brown, and they were not thick–they were fine hairs. I did not need a very thick layer either, so I'd say this one tube of product is going to last me well over a year–I hope it has a LONG shelf life!

I was pretty skeptical of this product, especially after the numerous negative reviews. My skin is incredibly sensitive, I regularly get rashes from supposedly sensitive skin products. I applied it as instructed (waiting one minute outside the shower then got in) and it all immediately washed off. I was disappointed. When I got out, I dried off my legs then applied it again. I left it on for about 8 minutes then rinsed it off with a washcloth. It worked wonders on my legs! My hair is thinner and pretty fine, so it may just not work well on thick hairs. This personally worked great for me. I used it on my legs. I put it on, waited about a minute then got in the shower. I washed my face and everything else, which took maybe about 3 minutes. The nair didn't just come off when the water ran down my legs, which was great. After that I rubbed it off in circular motions with a wash rag. Took all the hair and left my legs super smooth. Even has a little cap to prevent an unwanted pump. The spong it came with makes so much sense. I sit over the side of my bath tub when using this. You totally don't have to, but I do. So first I apply cream to the yellow softer side of sponge and rub all over my legs. Then after 6 minutes I use the slightly rougher white side of sponge to wipe away. Leaves my legs hairless, smooth and moisturized. There is no chemical smell, no need to vent the bathroom, no headache. Nothing like I remeber. Has a nice light clean violet scent This stuff rocks! I feel confident enough to let my pre tween daughter to use it too.
Upon first look the description on the bottle is very deceiving. It specifically says “in shower hair removal cream”. Reading that you would think you could use 100% in the shower. Because the product is wrapped in plastic to keep the sponge attached you can’t read the instructions until after purchase and opening. The instruction state that you apply before your shower and wait 3 minutes and than shower without a direct stream on product. I do like that it does actually work and the sponge is nice to get the product off of you good. It really does work well and leaves my legs soft. I get horrible razor burn on the inside of my upper legs and bikini line when shaving, so was excited to try this as a shaving alternative. Upon opening the product, I noticed that the smell was not as terrible as other products I have used. You apply the product with a little sponge the size of your palm. You have to make sure the hair you want to remove is completely covered, so just my entire upper legs seemed to take a lot of product. Once you apply, you have to leave it on for 6 – 10 minutes, so make time for this before your shower. Once you get in the shower, you are able to wipe the hair off with the same sponge. I applied this on leg hair that had been shaved 2 days prior, and it seemed to do a really spotty job. I ended up having to shave to catch the hairs that weren’t removed, so I was not super impressed with the end result. Maybe it is made for longer hair? I was pretty skeptical of this product, especially after the numerous negative reviews. My skin is incredibly sensitive, I regularly get rashes from supposedly sensitive skin products. I applied it as instructed (waiting one minute outside the shower then got in) and it all immediately washed off. I was disappointed. When I got out, I dried off my legs then applied it again. I left it on for about 8 minutes then rinsed it off with a washcloth. It worked wonders on my legs! My hair is thinner and pretty fine, so it may just not work well on thick hairs. I also used it in my armpits which worked but it did burn slightly. Once I rinsed it off, I immediately put on a nourishing deodorant and an aloe based lotion on my legs and they feel good. Okay, if you're like me, you remember Nair as having a very distinct smell that left your hands feeling kind of weird after lathering it on. Maybe even hurt a little to rub it off afterwards only for therr to still be missed spots of hair. Let me tell you, they have turned their formula around! This personally worked great for me. I used it on my legs. I put it on, waited about a minute then got in the shower. I washed my face and everything else, which took maybe about 3 minutes. The nair didn't just come off when the water ran down my legs, which was great. After that I rubbed it off in circular motions with a wash rag. Took all the hair and left my legs super smooth. I had tried veet before, and that left my legs a little red and itchy. This did not. This also doesn't have as bad a smell as the normal nair. It definitely still smells, just not as bad. This shampoo is okay, it really isn’t the best. I have a sensitive scalp, along with thinning, dry hair due to bleaching it and as this has almond oil in I thought it might do well. The smell is nice and fresh, however the day after shampooing, my hair was greasy and looked like it hadn’t been washed at all! I have had strawberry legs and arms (keratosis pilaris) since I hit puberty and it was so embarrassing. I discovered this product about a month ago and it is a blessing! I don't usually write reviews but I had to share my experience with this product. I have tried abrasive exfoliators, natural products, different soaps, but nothing worked. I used this product and in 1 day, the KP on my legs was GONE! and I mean completely gone! It took 2-3 days for the KP on my arms to go away but that's because I had a strong case of it. I purchased this in an attempt to fight pesky acne on my back that just NEVER seemed to go away. I'm 28, and ever since high school I've struggled with blemishes on my shoulders and back. I've tried tons of products over the years, followed all the recommendations and nothing ever seemed to work. Finally, I tried this product- and I can finally say that my back has completely cleared up! Ive tried other brands that I've seen at retail stores and these have been the sharpest, smallest and last the longest compared to those other brands. Each razor lasts me about 6 or 7 trims before getting very dull. They take eyebrow and lip hair off in the first glide, and its very easy to get in the small crevices like near my nose and eyes. Maybe I had a bad bottle, but the straw inside (which pumps up the product) went less than half way down the bottle. I didn't notice this until the pump stopped working when the bottle was still over half full. I could tell from the shape of the straw at the end that it hadn't snapped so it was put in like that. now very very messy to get any product out so I just gave up and threw it away. Secondly, I don't think it actually worked that well. It didn't remove hair as effectively as the other types Veet sell. It was sensitive, but should sensitive mean less effective?Mrs JK

I have shaved, waxed and epililiated for many years. However I had never used Nads. On a whim I tried on my legs, bikini line and armpits. I have thick, dense, dark hair with fast regrowth. The biggest shock to me was how comfortable this is to use! The gel is not like wax that rips hair and skin, instead it only rips out the hair and is gentle on skin! The cotton strips are washable and reusable, so I can collect more with each purchase to aid in doing larger surface areas (I find once I use a strip to remove hair it doesn't work on the next area, so I have to use a new strip for every section of hair). If this came in a fragrance-free version, I'd give it 5 stars. For anyone who doesn't mind a highly-fragranced formula, I'd highly recommend. As the added fragrance is very strong, and I have a sensitivity to most fragrances, I will stick to Keralyt's fragrance-free gels (at 3% and 5% salicylic acid), which I've purchased from LovelySkin as well. This whole line is incredibly effective for treating acne, psoriasis, KP (keratosis pilaris), ingrown hairs, etc.
During allergy season (year round in Texas) my scalp will break out. My dermatologist recommended that I try Keralyt shampoo. It has really helped and kept the breakouts to a minimum. This product is outstanding, very soothing and healing. My toddler son developed kp on his cheeks and back of the arms. We have been using KP Away for approx. 9 weeks and so far we have seen great improvement. His skin has become very smooth, red “dots” are getting smaller and fading and the “blemishes” left by old bumps are vanishing. The kp on the back of his arms is almost completely gone. I also would like to mention that the customer service we have received from the KP Away folks has been great. They have answered all our questions promptly and provided good recommendations on how to use the product.
After the dermatologist diagnosed him with kp, he recommended to use a moisturizer with salicylic acid, which we used for several weeks. While we saw his skin getting “smoother” (the bigger pimple-liked bumps reduced significantly, although smaller bumps remained), his face still showed red spots, irritation and red “dots” (not raised). We realized this approach while effective treating some “symptoms” was not attacking the root cause of the problem and could potentially increase irritation. We needed something different.
After searching for alternative treatments, we came across KP Away and its novel approach to treating kp, which resonated to me primarily because it redefined the root cause of the problem as lack of essential lipids in the skin vs. a lack of exfoliation. This allows his skin to “relax” while keeping the kp at bay. Also, per Anar’s recommendation we stopped using chemical sunscreen and switched to mineral sunscreen (we noticed the previous sunscreen was creating irritation). The Badger Baby Sunscreen has been a great complement to KP Away (organic, simple ingredients, very soothing, etc), which we apply every morning before school or playing outside.

After the dermatologist diagnosed him with kp, he recommended to use a moisturizer with salicylic acid, which we used for several weeks. While we saw his skin getting “smoother” (the bigger pimple-liked bumps reduced significantly, although smaller bumps remained), his face still showed red spots, irritation and red “dots” (not raised). We realized this approach while effective treating some “symptoms” was not attacking the root cause of the problem and could potentially increase irritation. We needed something different.

This hair removal product works well. It definitely and easily removes unwanted hair, but the ingredients used in the product are too harsh for my particular skin. It causes red marks and rashes to appear, after I use it. I’ve since found other products that are better for sensitive skin, which I now regularly use. Omg ! This product caused huge irritation on my bf’s body . Yes it removed hair , but after putting it just for a minute it made his skin so red and even damaged in some areas . It has been years since I used a Hair product. I hated the smell and had concerns about chemicals I was applying to my skin. I decided to try again as I have sensitive skin. I went with this particular product so I wouldn't have to use my hands and hoping Aloe in this product would help with any sensitivity that may occur. I tested an area just like the directions said to do and found I needed to apply a little more than 3 minutes but my skin was not irritated. I put the came on while I let it sit a little longer and when I pulled of the cap some of the hair splattered onto my floor. Just to be safe I currently have the cap off so this won't happen again when I use it. I followed the directions again for applying and taking off hair and it worked perfectly. There were some areas that were missed somehow and applied to that area. Glad the smell wasn't too strong. The biggest thing I noticed after use is that my hair very noticeably started to grow back two days after. Just use to seeing it appear a couple of days after I shave. For that reason I would not purchase this particular product again. Need something where I don't have to apply every day.WorkPants
Back in the 1970s I was a teenager and Nair was THE ONLY THING that we used for hairy teenage legs. The stuff stank! My friend once shmeared some of it on her legs and then touched her closed eye by mistake and didn't have eyelashes or her right eyebrow for a whole month. So, I guess the stuff works. Flash forward to 2022 and I see this stuff on sale here at iHerb and I thought to myself, "Hey, it's been 50 years, they must have done something to make it smell better." They haven't. But it still works beautifully. And you know what, you have to have it on for 3 to 5 minutes, no longer than 10. I can live through that for the clear, hairless skin I want. Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare gifted me the Alpha Beta Exfoliating Body Treatment Peel and I was very intrigued because I have always struggled with bumps on my forearms and some on my legs. This product claims to minimize the appearance of KP, ingrown hair, bumps, and dull skin. It comes with 8 treatments for $58. Each towel is saturated enough to do the whole body. I used all 8 treatments over the course of a few weeks. Upon application, it stings slightly, especially if you've just shaved. The product has some tackiness to it which dissipates after about five minutes. It then leaves behind a sheen on the skin. I applied this three times per week and after comparing the before and after videos, I mostly agree with the claims but results were minimal. I believe that with consistent use this product would likely work wonders but $7.25 per application is way too pricey for me to justify purchasing regularly. I would consider splurging for this only if I had a special event that I wanted to get my skin ready for. This product does work but the results weren't drastic enough for me to justify the price point. I rate this 4.5/5 for the quality of the product but 3/5 overall. This is the size of a flannel and the thickness of the average facial sheet mask. It’s not so wet that it drips, it’s more like a wet wipe, so it’s really easy to apply and there’s zero mess. It dries very quickly and left my skin with a slightly tacky feel – a bit like glycerine feels on the skin, but wasn’t particularly hydrating on my dry skin so I did need my usual moisturiser afterwards. It’s done a very good job of getting rid of my extra dry elbows and shins. I have sensitive skin and had no irritation at all. I’d consider repurchasing this. However, I chose this as a free sample with purchase and when I looked it up, I couldn’t believe that the pack is £15 for only two towels. I am so mad at myself. I had two of these boxes hanging around that I never tried. I finally opened them and am using as directed 2x/week. Unbelievable results. 1- no more crazy moisturizing, on the days I use them. 2- yup, improved my skin texture. 3- made my skin feel softer than any moisturizer… feels like a deep moisture…vs just topical. I would love to see this approach expanded… maybe a daily body pad, with ingredients reduced for safe daily use, so that I can completely scrap moisturizing!!! Please, I love these. Can’t wait to see the benefits second month brings. My problem Areas were upper legs, lower legs and arms. Starting to focus more on my back that isn’t bad, but just lacks luster.

It definitely removed some hair, I don't know why it didn't get all of it, because my hair has never been thick. Also, IT STINKS. It smells even worse while removing it off the skin. The product needed more information on don't do's, like can you wash your skin (of the smell) or can you apply a second time? or how long before you can apply a second time?S
I did a patch test in my bikini area for 6 minutes and I didn't have a bad reaction but also it only took away half the hair. So a few days later I decided to apply all over and leave it for 10 minutes nothing more as they said don't exceed 10 min. But I STILL GOT A CHEMICAL BURN. it was so painful I never experienced such pain before. It was so hard to wash and only cold water help. I later applied neosporin and after that day I've been using coconut oil to not let my already burned skin rub against each other and cause me more pain. I'm never using it again. Also I've tried it on my armpits, only removed half the hair.Sam
I don't like hair on my stomach or chest. Last time I shaved my chest and stomach and ended up with a rash and ingrown hairs. This time I decided to try this product and it works surprisingly well.
