I ordered this after previously ordering the bold Uniq purple shampoo, which was amazing and worked so much better than other shampoos I'd tried. So, because this company appears to have high-quality products, I decided to try the treatment. It arrived quickly, and the pot was a good size. The usage instructions were very clear, simple, and helpful. And in writing large enough to read without a magnifying glass, as most people do. The scent of the product is lovely. It has a very thick consistency and you didn't need much of it. My hair felt instantly better and was easier to comb through. Initially, I left it on for 20 minutes. It was very simple to rinse out. I blew dry my hair, and after only one treatment, it feels beautiful and soft. My hair is in much better condition after just one use. My hair is blond with highlights that is prone to dryness. This product has absolutely changed the look of my hair! When I first purchased the product, I hoped that it would provide some TLC to my hair, which had become extremely dry and damaged as a result of the winter and keeping me away from my hairdresser. I wasn't expecting how drastically it altered my hair. My hair is naturally curly, thick, and sometimes unmanageable. I noticed an immediate difference after the first use. My split ends were less visible, my curls looked fluffy and healthy, and most crucially, the frizz was GONE. I recently went through the process of lightening my natural dark brown hair to a very light ash blonde. Despite the fact that my hairstylist was very careful and we did it gradually, I suffered a lot of damage. I had been using Olaplex, and while it did help, I really needed something to replenish the moisture in my hair. I decided to give it a try because the reviews were positive, and I'M SO GLAD I DID. I'm a very picky person when it comes to my hair and the products that I use. Most of the products that I have used in the past (even if they're raved about) end up drying out my hair making it very brittle or dull. I have very very curly hair and it's very thick and long so I have to use multiple products to keep my hair tame, soft healthy, and smooth. That includes using multiple hair masks ( I'm a pro multi masker lol) in order to make sure the products spread evenly and two that I get the best results for hydration and strength. This treatment surprised me a bit given how small the bottle is. I started by shampooing per directions. I then, separated my hair into 6 and started with one pump on each section starting from mid shaft to ends then repeated the process with my roots (I used a few extra pumps) then waited 4 minutes. The texture of this particular product surprised me because it's not something I would normally use on my hair it is a cream but it didn't have any slip (so I thought), And it didn't feel thick enough. But within those four minutes my hair was smoother softer and shinier I was very surprised at how soft it felt and how my hair didn't tangle up (which would have normally happened had I used a product with no slip.) due to all the manipulation. With that being said there are a couple of drawbacks with the product. One: the price for the size is a little dicey to me, like I would hesitate greatly buying this product once I run out and hesitate recommending to someone who has as much hair as I do (quick explanation: my hair reaches a little past my waist when flat ironed and is very dense) especially since the directions state to use the product for the first four to six washes then 3-4 for aftercare/as needed/ upkeep. Two: When I used the product I said to myself that it smelled like rubbing alcohol. Then I read the ingredients and noticed that it had alcohol high on it. I'm not sure what denatured alcohol does but I'm hoping it doesn't dry my hair out with time. All in all I'm excited to use it more and see how my hair reacts. *extra notes* With first usage I loved it, second usage I'm noticing my curls are more defined. Okay, I do not normally write reviews but I kinda just have to about this product. To give some backstory, I was dumb and thought my hair was invincible and got into hair color. September 2021 was the first time I dyed my hair with box dye and my hair didn’t react at all. It was still extremely healthy and felt like my virgin hair. So I assumed my hair was a special case and could withstand anything… so, I decided to get creative with my hair and went absolutely crazy. After my first dye, from mid October 2021 – early February 2022, I bleached my hair 5 times, dyed my hair with 4 Arctic fox colors and 3 box dyes and one professional dye from Sally’s, used the homemade color remover method of dish soap, developer, baking soda and purple shampoo probably 20 times… if not more. It wasn’t until it was too late that I realized how dead and fried and destroyed my hair was. It was so bad that my hair would stick out straight in the air when I’d pick up a small section, rather than bouncing and falling down like healthy hair does. To fix my mistake, I tried to use MANY different deep masks, hair hyaluronic acid and olaplex and those barely made a dent in the damage I caused… so I bought the mini size of K-18 and just finished 5 washes with it (I probably have one more wash left but I was too excited to wait to write this review). After the first wash my hair felt exponentially better than it had since my first dye. And after my 5th wash, I can confidently say this product has totally saved my hair. Of course it’s not completely healed, but I’d say it’s 80% back to it’s “virgin” state. I’d say after a couple more washes it’ll be almost back to it’s completely healthy state. My hair is a couple inches from my shoulders but very dense so I have to section my hair into 2 sections and do 2 pumps for each one to feel properly coated. So normally I would keep a magical life changing hair treatment to myself but I’m literally dead from being in shock after using this product for the first time last night. I was wondering why I have never heard or seen anything about this product but found out it’s because it is brand new. Apparently research scientist from a US biological engineering department discovered this brand new breakthrough peptide strand that has never been used before in any hair product. We have seen tons of protein and bonding treatments on the market like “olaplex” but this peptide strand that was discovered is one of a kind. If you read there website, and especially me trying every bonding treatment on the market, I was so skeptical because they are basically promising after one use and 4 minutes your hair even severely bleached or damaged in any way, will go back to its “virgin” youthful state. I was like SUREEEE that’s what they all say and my hair never gets repaired enough to the point that I am like wow lol. But literally reading the science behind it, it does kinda make sense. Olaplex will repair the hairs structure only to a certain point, every other treatment will only go as far as the core, and never to the polypeptide chains which is the most inner layer of our hair. But the K18 peptide that was discovered will! And let me just tell you I have never once felt the need to spread feedback from a hair product but after washing my hair last night I almost dropped dead lol. If anyone knows me they know that I am so indecisive with my hair and I go from platinum blonde to black and back to platinum literally all the time. All you do is wash your hair with shampoo NO conditioner and then when you get out of the shower you put the K18 peptide in and leave it in. I used to have amazing, curly/wavy hair without trying at all. Like, shampoo, and sometimes condition every few days and BAM – perfect hair. However, when I went on the pill my hair was suddenly limp and sad. No curl, no wave, no volume, nothing. I tried the curly girl method for over a year and it seemed to make matters worse. Bought this on sale at the 50% off Conditioner Sale as I've wanted to try it for awhile. I was really impressed. It is so incredibly moisturizing! I've used the Honey Miracle Mask and I like it but this one is definitely a step up in performance. I know the ingredients are similar but for some reason this one just works better for me. I am a pretty big fan of this product. As someone who had a childhood ambition of being Rapunzel I can testify to the fact that great products equal great hair. There's no working around this fact – if you want to have healthy, shiny, gorgeous hair you need to use products that are nourishing your hair from root to end. I picked this up at Anthropologie during a winter sale because I've used their shampoo once before and thought it was decent and since I was out of a hair mask I decided to give this a shot (because hello….additional 40% off clearance items – how could I say no?!). To give you some context about my hair: right now it is roughly shoulder length, color-treated, and is as thick as a brick wall. It's heavy, it's long, and it really needs moisture – there is no getting around this fact. If I don't moisturize my hair I tend to look like Ron Perlman's character in 1987's "Beauty and the Beast". For someone like me a half palm-full of this product is enough to give a good saturation from root to tip. Does that mean I use more product? Yes. But it's necessary and totally worth it. I leave it on while I shower/shave/sing Fleetwood Mac songs to my unsuspecting neighbors…You get the idea. After about 10-15 minutes I rinse it out and my hair is AMAZING. Usually I let it air dry and then I'll do a light blow-out the next morning before work. My hair has never been softer, less tangled, or less frizzy. It really is a great, gentle, effective product. The only reason I'm docking a star is because it is very expensive when you compare it to the amount you receive in the bottle and the amount you need to use on your hair if you have long, thick, unruly hair like me. I mean really – I'm not complaining – but I definitely think there should be a more cost-effective bottle of this product. I think I was more excited to see what this product actually smelled like based on reviews, then what it claims to do. I was equally not really impressed with the smell or results. The smell is a little “elderly” for my taste. Maybe floral and musky? Not fresh, or clean in my opinion. As you rinse this, you can feel what you think are going to be off the chart results, but after air drying and heat styling on separate occasions, I noticed no difference over using a salon quality daily conditioner. I recently purchased this to go with the scalp shampoo and am happy I did. It seems to melt in and smooth straight away so you don’t feel like you need loads of product. I leave on for about 5 minutes to use it more like a conditioner and it still does a great job. If you leave on for 10 minutes as a treatment it’s very effective and does a better job for very dry hair and humidity frizz. It doesn’t have much of a fragrance so I wouldn’t say your hair has a lovely smell after using it, but it is easier to style and looks smooth and nourished.DianaJay

I completely clarified my hair and then started using only Olaplex products exclusively. I used the entire line as recommended for damaged hair for 4 months, including number one in my hair color touch ups, and now I am a firm believer that it really does repair bonds as they claim because there is no other explanation for the positive change in my mid back length, color treated, and highlighted hair. I went from dull hair that was always tangled and broke so easily, to much healthier, shiny, soft, full hair. Despite having a lot of hair, it's very fine and before Olaplex, I could never achieve fullness without using a ton of product which was counterproductive. Usually conditioners, treatments, and masks, would weigh my hair down, but not Olaplex, it gives me the natural fullness I want without any styling product or weighing my hair down. And their purple shampoo, I can't say enough good things about it either! It is super concentrated so you need only the tiniest bit for the best results and the fact that the other products help color last longer, you don't need to use it as often as other toning shampoos, but when they say leave it on no more than two minutes, they mean it! If you use too much or leave it in too long, it will tint your hair rather than just tone it. The only Olaplaex product I don't use is the oil. Other than that, they would have to pry Olaplex from my hands. I highly recommend the entire line and starting with completely clarified hair prior to starting and use Olaplex exclusively for a few months to achieve the best results. I really need bond builder for my trifecta hair issue: Gray, colored, curly. But my eyes widened when I saw the small quantity of product offered. I have curly hair to my lower back and that little bottle isn't going to last very long. Please offer this product in a larger size/quantity like you are doing with your shampoo and conditioner. Also, the sprayer shoots a thin direct spray instead of a wide spray, which would make the product apply more easily. As it is, the product is not really getting distributed very well. I should clarify that if I don't love a product, I don't even bother writing a review – but your products – out of all the products available for difficult hair problems – ARE AMAZING and actually WORK. They have SAVED my hair for the first time in years. I'm hoping my relatively small requests reach the powers who can fix the available size offering and sprayer issue. Lastly, when offering people the choice to describe their hair in the diagnostic, it's helpful to allow more than one choice. Like on the review that says "Would you describe your hair as:" Well, mine is Curly, Dry, Frizzy/Unruly, Colored/Chemically Treated, Lifeless/lacking volume, thinnin, dull/lacking shine, weak and damaged. And the products have helped address all of the issues except oiliness, which I don't have. I've been using the Olaplex No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment and the No. 3 Hair Repair Perfector in my hair care routine . Now, I'm not a person that heat styles my hair often but I do keep it fairly long so I have to keep an eye on split ends. I found that the Olaplex No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment comes in a really nice spray bottle that mists quite finely and evenly into the hair leaving my hair more silky and shiny. I can see an immediate difference in texture and appearance. The No. 3 Hair Repair Perfector was suggested to be used with the Olaplex No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment and I found that it really helps with my split ends and may be even better than the other split end mender that I normally use. I would definitely suggest giving the Olaplex No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment and No. 3 Hair Repair Perfector to anyone looking to add shine and repair their damaged hair. I think these two products would be good for any types of hair but I have long and thin straight hair. The products really worked for me and the results are amazing. Please do not buy this if you have curly hair. I recently got a balayage and i wanted to make it a bit healthier so i got this because of the great reviews. I saw one bad review saying it burned their hair and they lost their curls. I chose to ignore that bc most reviews were really good. I used this as instructed on the bottle and i only used 10mL (up to the first line) so not too much product. It felt really hot as soon as i applied it which I thought was odd. I proceeded to washing it off and in the shower while wet it felt soft and hydrated so i was happy. After i got out of the shower and began brushing it, tons of hair started to fall out and my hair normally doesnt shed. Then i started to notice how stringy it got, it was so fragile it kept breaking. It then started to get really frizzy and my curls were gone. I applied leave in conditioner from shea moisture to try to help and although it did help a little with moisture, my curls are basically gone it looks like i have huge heat damage and they all look crumply. I have no defined curls anymore. Extremely sad but i will work to get them back just dont make my same mistake.Liz

I wish this wasn’t so good! Lol. It’s an expensive product but it is incredible. I struggle finding a product like this that doesn’t make my hair look super greasy and gross or weigh it down. This gives me the shine I want (I don’t have to use a lot) without the gross issues my hair looks so healthy even though I just used a blow dryer and straightened it . My hair looks great for DAYS. It’s worth the money, but this line is so expensive. It doesn’t have a strong scent which can be a pro or con for some. My only problem with it is that it’s not a heat protectant. So I have to use another product with it which bothers me. Still….worth it lol. I feel like they need to make it protect against heat. Then it would be the perfect product. I have bleached thin hair, pretty damaged, so I was looking for something to use after washing my hair to make it easier to detangle and make it smoother and softer overall. Also I was intrigued by claims of super shine. I can not say that it didn't deliver, but I wasn't super in love, I wasn't gravitating towards it. I didn't notice intense shine or gloss, after it dries on your hand, for example, I can see tiniest shimmer parts (they are barely visible, but they are present), which I am also not a big fan of. Also the smell is a bit strong for my liking, and not that much frizz control, thus 4/5 from me. I must say that I usually don't blow dry my hair, but leave it air dry. ✨Oribe Moisture and Control shampoo and conditioner ✨ This line is meant to provide intense moisture, while providing softness and frizz control— and typically for thick and/or wavy or curly hair. Frizz really isn’t an issue for me in Colorado, however — I consider my hair to be “stravy” (mostly straight with a soft wave) and SUPER DRY during winter, so I definitely wanted to try this out to remedy the dryness. Also, the gorgeous packaging might’ve gotten me, too. 😆 Oribe really created a stunning dynamic duo here with the packaging. ✨ So after using this for a couple months, I’ve come to the conclusion that the product pair follows through on its claims (styled with Oribe Maxxinista spray and blown out with curling iron waves) for the finish look if you slide (filtered pic, though, too— so make of it what you prefer). In the shower, I don’t feel as if this conditioner provides enough slip for me. I find my hair becomes tangled with the conditioner, so I try to gently comb it through before rinsing— but I’ve never really had that issue with other luxury hair care brands. So that part is a little less than ideal in my experience and has me curious about if the mask would work better on my hair or maybe a different family in the Oribe line. I give it a 8/10 because I do feel like it smooths and hydrates the hair, leaves quite a bit of shine, and that signature Oribe scent is heaven. 😍👌🏽I just wish it would give way more slip and detangle better. I had blond balayage done to my hair and that damaged it. I read the reviews about this product, most good and a mixture of bad. When I saw the bad reviews talking about hair snapping off, I thought it was just due to the persons hair being so damaged and thought I'd give it a try. Well my hair started snapping off, every single day, some pieces long and ranging to tiny specks of hair. I have had my hair damaged horribly in the past to the point it took forever to dry and leaving burnt coarse ends. My hair did have a few areas of burnt ends but not as severe as previous experiences. So I kept using the treatment products and it kept raining pieces of my hair throughout the day. I've never had this happen even with extremely damaged hair. Sure pieces broke off but nothing like this. When the pieces snapped initially I thought it was due to the damaged ends. But then it never stopped. Smooth bits about a quarter inch kept shedding off. I couldn't wear dark shirts without constantly wiping hair bits off of it. After about a month I believed the reviews and stopped using the products. My hair slowly started snapping off less and less but I'm not sure if it was because the majority was already gone. So now my hair is varied lengths and extremely thinned out due to the different lengths it broke off. I'm not saying this product isn't good or bad because a lot of people love it but I strongly suggest not using this product if you have bleach damage without consulting your hair stylist first or having a treatment of some type done professionally. Before getting my hair to the shade it is now, I had several appointments slowly lightening my hair over roughly 6 months with hair treatments in between to maintain the health. The title of the order is VERY misleading. In the size it states that it is 12 x 0.4oz, which really sounds like it will be 12 packs of 0.4oz, but it's not. I'm not sure what the "12" is actually supposed to mean, unless it is related to the fact that 0.4oz is 12ml, but that's not what it states. I'm sure the product itself is great, it's just that the sellers label and photos are VERY misleading and can be regarded as unethical.Tracey

So I’ve been using this for a while (6+months) and really haven’t noticed a difference. It’s a bit heavy for my fine hair but I could see it working for someone with really thick or damaged hair. It smells nice (that herbal Aveda smell) and for me, I put it on before blow drying. It just weighs my hair down. I’m also in a humid climate, but I bet this would be great for people in drier places. Anyway, it didn’t damage or do anything bad, just a bit much for mine. I know Aveda makes quality products, so this is probably just specific to me, maybe you’ll have better luck 🤷🏼‍♀️kimberly.s

This has always been my favorite deep conditioner. Used it yesterday and my hair is Shining from within. I haven't seen that for a long time. I LOVE this product and have used it for years. It is truly one of a kind. It leaves my hair light, airy, shiny, and silky. It is it not heavy or sticky. It rinses off easily and my hair just feels healthy and clean. I've been on a journey since last November. I underwent a 10 hour process to remove color (I was born with very black hair and even though I had gone a little lighter, I was still very much a dark brunette), and go gray. My end are not so much a great silver like my natural hair that is growing in, but a pale, ash, blonde that was very damaged. I've even used the new, buzzy, K18. I went back to using my beloved Living Proof products because my results are much better. What I have discovered is that my formerly gently wavy hair is quite curly and very fuzzy where all of the damaged areas remain. This was too expensive and lengthy a process to give up much of my length. I continue using this product even though my hair isn't damaged and I will say, it almost adds too much protein and leads to overdrying of my "normal" healthy hair so if your hair is normal, perhaps don't use. I have fine hair and balayage so my ends are bleached, and I have struggled to find something that will provide moisture without weighing my hair down or making it greasy or sticky. This product is IT. I use it as my last step in the shower, so I apply it to my wet hair then immediately put my microfiber towel on. I use about 2 pumps. After it sits for 20-30 minutes I follow it with the Restore Perfecting Spray and brush through, then scrunch to bring out my waves! My hair has more fullness, shine, and curl than I have had since bleaching it for the first time 8 months ago. I am blown away by these results. Highly recommend!!!!L

Please do not buy this if you have curly hair. I recently got a balayage and i wanted to make it a bit healthier so i got this because of the great reviews. I saw one bad review saying it burned their hair and they lost their curls. I chose to ignore that bc most reviews were really good. I used this as instructed on the bottle and i only used 10mL (up to the first line) so not too much product. It felt really hot as soon as i applied it which I thought was odd. I proceeded to washing it off and in the shower while wet it felt soft and hydrated so i was happy. After i got out of the shower and began brushing it, tons of hair started to fall out and my hair normally doesnt shed. Then i started to notice how stringy it got, it was so fragile it kept breaking. It then started to get really frizzy and my curls were gone. I applied leave in conditioner from shea moisture to try to help and although it did help a little with moisture, my curls are basically gone it looks like i have huge heat damage and they all look crumply. I have no defined curls anymore. Extremely sad but i will work to get them back just dont make my same mistake.Liz

Okay so let me start by saying I have coarse, wavy, frizzy hair (I live in the south where humidity is a thing).. oh and I bleach the heck out of my hair constantly to keep it a white/ grey color. I bought this today and I'll say that it does what it says. I had my hair done Thursday and the girl messed it all up so I had to go back on Friday for a different toner.. anyway, I was scared of my first post hair color wash and just knew I'd have some breakage.. so I went and bought this and I am so happy. I have no frizz, especially on my front pieces of hair where I just knew they were fried, my hair is super soft, and it smells so good. Yes, it's a bit heavy. That's why a little goes a long way. Use only on ends or areas you know are damaged and I think you'll notice a difference. I hope this stuff will save my hair in the long run. I read it's also a heat protectant. I use Olaplex because I have crucified my hair with bleach and colour for years. As I've got older I colour it more often as I get bored and so its taken some heat and chemical damage. I also keep it long so it's often tied up for work or pinned back and heat styled with curls or crimps. I brought a couple of boxed of pureplex on a whim to try and oh my it's fab Its a pretty good dupe for my original olaplex and I got two applications from one kit even on long hair. Made a real difference to how my hair felt afterwards, much less elastic and more like actual hair. I also blow dried it much faster than usual and it was fairly straight without bothering with straighteners. I cannot recommend this enough. It takes about half an hour to do but that's on a par with other bond builders and it's definitely worth it. Smells pleasant and is a bargain price for the difference it makes to damaged hair. I'd try the dye too but no crazy colour ways and sadly the shampoo and conditioner were out of stock but I will grab them next time time sureAishaMorrell

Got this just once a long time ago and loved it after loosing 90 percent of my hair through bleaching. After 2 years of nkthing on my hair i dyed it box colours about 4 to 5 times in a few mknths. Whilst it didnt fall put it had slight damage so got this. Dus to having really curly natural hair it dries out easily i used my fav garnier hair food banana and shea mask before left it on for 3 mins didnt wash out then used the first step and so on and as you can use the mask as a leave in too after waahing out the conditioner i applied a tiny bit and left it in until my next wash and my hair feels amazing. I recommened conditioning before shampooing or at least put a good mask on your hair or barley use much clarifying shampoo in yhe first step if you have dry hair or finr hair. The wholw kits lasted me 2 goes so far there is wnough dor 3 or maybe even 4 if i pushed it enough. I have really curly shoulder length hair thats quite thick also. Try use it with your routine rather than just do the straight 4 steps and nothing else/put nothing else in your hair.Noninoonoo

My hair is very over-processed as I went from plum red to blonde for my wedding.. I have fine hair but a lot of it.. its never been so dry, like barbie hair that snaps constantly when brushing knots out! Without detangler spray/silicone, I cannot normally get a brush through it, and I was about to get the chop at the hair dressers in pure frustration that my hair could not be worked with! I bought this as I saw an article that it was a dupe of Olaplex (which I consider overpriced). I followed the four step process with the shampoo, preparation liquid, amino acid conditioner, and final condition. I left on the amino acid formula (conditioner) probably 30mins rather than recommended 15 mins (figured it couldn't hurt to have my hair absorb as much as possible…). My hair condition is pleasantly improved – its a lot softer, and I can get a brush through it without detangler which I consider a massive win! My hair tied up is looking like a normal pony tail and not a complete ball of frizz. I think I will keep using this, as after one use its seriously helped. I can recommend! I'd read the information about this treatment for the hair and never thought for a minute that it would actually work, I however, was completely wrong. As someone who is hormonal with coloured hair, ever time I was etc, there would be hair wrapped around my fingers or stuck in the comb where I'd combed through conditioner. That was not the case here. I started by dampening my hair as per the instructions and massaged the bonding treatment through my hair which felt odd as a step I'd never taken before washing previously. I then took the recommended amount of the shampoo and massaged into a leather and rinsed. This is where I was surprised, there was maybe one or two hairs on my hands when rinsing, I check that there wasn't a load around my feet in the shower but no, they were still attached to my head! I then applied the conditioner and rinsed as I normally would. After towel drying, I'd expect there to be breakage stuck in my brush , there just wasn't! I'm amazed! I'm going to continue to used and see if the horrible stray little snapped hairs can finally be gone.Jo

My hair has been highlighted for years, religiously every 6 weeks. A few weeks ago I got a magic sleek treatment and I left with fried orange hair. This was my second treatment and the first was great so I don't say it's the product but instead I think this stylist used too much heat. I used olaplex 3 after and some deep conditioning masks. They helped some but my hair still looked very unhealthy. I tried this redken line and my hair looks like it did before…smooth shiny soft and healthy! I used the treatment and left it in for 20-30 minutes. Then washed with the shampoo and conditioner (I let the conditioner sit for about 10 minutes). I finished with the leave in and my hair looks so great. If you have any damage, I highly recommend this. This will be my daily shampoo conditioner and leave in from now on. I'm going to have my teenage daughter use it too since she recently got highlights and started straightening her hair more.Sharon

I'll be honest, the first time I tried the trio (concentrate, shampoo, conditioner) I didn't think it did much besides making my hair slightly softer and smelling delicious. I refrained from leaving a review until I gave it some time. Three weeks later, my hair already feels and looks healthier. It's gained back some shine and it's easier to style. I use all three products every time I wash my hair but noticed that leaving the concentrate on for 30-60 mins under a shower cap works best for my hair. My hair is long, highlighted, very dry, but not fried. It's fine-medium thickness and I have tons of it. Each time I've used the Redken trio my hair felt weightless and amazing in the shower. Not many products work for me and I've tried many many expensive treatments including Olaplex. Olaplex was great but stopped working as well for me after using for a year. Instead of a refill I decided to take a chance with Redken. Love that it's free of harsh chemicals and did I mention it smells so good? Not overpowering. Kind of like apples… My toddler loves sniffing my hair after I wash it lol will continue using to see if it continues working miracles for my hair. So far I'm extremely happy!!Calblonde

I've used redken's color protecting line before and really loved their products. I feel like you really get a salon quality product at a fairly reasonable price. I used this as part of the set, paired with the shampoo. I did not like the shampoo at all but I did not hate this conditioner. I liked the texture and consistency on this. It was very concentrated so a little goes a long way for this one as well. It's packaged in the same quantity and format as the shampoo which is fairly compact while also housing a lot of product. With the shampoo I noted a very tangy acidic smell which was noticeably not as pungent in the conditioner. The conditioner has more of a fruity smell and was much more traditionally fragrant. Unfortunately, this product did not do what it claims to. After 3 weeks I did not see any improvement to my split ends or dryness. This line seems to be a competitor to Olaplex and it ultimately did not hold up the way I wanted it to. I think it's *fine* if you were just wanting a good quality shampoo/conditioner liner but not with the intention to target damage and bonding/repair.tian.l

My hair is very fine in texture but I have a ton of it, it is also very long going to about my belly button. I have had quite the journey with lots of damage from heat over the years and then recently from braiding it while wet too many times last summer. It was feeling frizzy, dry, and weak. When I would brush it would break at the ends a lot. I started using this whole 3 step system 8 weeks ago and I can't speak highly enough of it. The shampoo has a great lather, even in hard water. It is really concentrated so a lot goes a long way. It feels clean but not dry after using it. The conditioner is a good consistency and leaves my hair soft and conditioned without feeling heavy and weighed down. It again is very concentrated so you can use less then you'd think. The leave-in conditioner, that also acts as a heat protectant, is amazing. It detangles and instantly leaves my hair feeling thicker and fuller. It keeps it shiny and reduces frizz, but it doesn't weigh down my hair or make it feel greasy the way a lot of leave-ins do to fine hair. I also really like the smell. I absolutely love this line and for my hair, it works way better then Olaplex. Highly recommend. 10/10Leah

I have been MORE than pleasantly surprised at just how much this TGIN Miracle RepaiRx protective leave-in has left my thick but fine, bleached and colored hair EVERY TIME I've used it!! Silky soft hair that detangles easily and DOES NOT WEIGH MY HAIR DOWN!! The ingredient deck on these TGIN products is phenomenal! I am a licensed professional so I have access to nearly every prestige professional hair brands everyday and I truly love some of my HG favorites….BUT…TGIN MIRACLE REPAIRX PROTECTIVE LEAVE IN LEAVES MY HAIR SMOOTH, SOFT, SHINY, EASILY DETANGLED (my fine hair sisters out there know the struggle is real after shampooing and conditioning to get pretty long thick but fine hair strands to detangle can get us twisted and angry.) I used to have dry, frizzy unmanageable curly hair (3b). I've tried nearly every product for curly hair and *nothing* has worked like this leave-in. My hair is now shiny and smooth, but retains my curls too. I can actually brush through my hair on no-wash days and my curls maintain their shape. With other products, my curls would fall and get frizzy by mid-day. I know everyone responds uniquely to products, but I am so happy to to find my holy grail! Other reviews mentioned to use it sparingly; I use it very, very liberally. My hair soaks up leave-in conditioner so I probably use 10 pumps, concentrating on the crown and ends. I do t understand some of these reviews, like it not being thick? This is a very thick leave in and you really need to use sparingly. I feel like if you actually put enough in to coat the majority of your hair to reap the benefits you would have a greasy head full of hair. I got this because I was a bit on protein overload and while my hair has felt softer it's not done anything to repeat or seal split ends like it claims. Doing a bunch of research after this issue I've found that although coconut oil is a big fad it is actually not good for a lot of hair types. ESPECIALLY if your dealing with excess protein in your hair, it will make the problem worse since coconut oil causes protein buildup. Wish I had know that before purchasing. Seeing as how so many products have coconut oil in them that's probably how I wound up in the mess to begin with. Just a FYI for anyone else that may be having the same issue. Now I do like TGIN repair mask, although I don't like the smell necessarily, I also don't get the amazing smell others claim regarding this leave in?! Maybe I got a bad bottle but mine has very slight of any scent and it certainly isn't amazing.. I had also purchased curlsmith double cream quencher mask, now that is a product you need to try for moisture!! That stuff is amazing!Jessie

I really do like this conditioner. I don't have naturally curly hair, but loosely curled permed hair. Naturally my hair is very fine and sort of frizzy and the perm helps give it body and style, while this conditioner really helps to define the curls. I use a little Andalou Naturals styling cream or gel to wet hair and the results are better than with any other shampoo/conditioner brands I've used.Galaverna

Bought to try something new after using Olaplex 6 for many years. This product does a similar job, and feels lighter in texture. Feel like I retain more volume with this Kevin Murphy product as opposed to Olaplex 6, while also killing frizz and my hair feeling soft, which is a great combo for me. I noticed a few reviewers saying it doesn't contain silicone, but it definitely does, dimethicone is the second ingredient on the list. It is free of sulfates and parabens, though.Charlotte

I have thick, fine hair that’s barely wavy, while my partner has kind of blend of 3c/4a highly textured hair that’s kept short. We both love this product! He uses 1-2 full pumps on wet hair then air dries, and I use 1/2-1 pump on damp hair on blowdry days. The scent is fresh and layers well with the other KM products we’re enjoying so far.Andrea J.

I only received the Hair Food Avocado and Argan Oil Smooth Conditioner, not as a set with the Shampoo that accompanies it. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience using the product and felt like my hair looked better, especially the ends of my hair which was the main area I concentrated the conditioner on. I followed the directions and applied the conditioner to the tips of my wet hair in the shower immediately following cleaning it with a different shampoo. I then used a comb to evenly distribute the product in my strands and then waited a few minutes before rinsing it out of my hair. I towel dried my hair and waited for it to dry before evaluating the effectiveness of the product. Overall, I think the conditioner worked well and my hair appeared smooth and healthy after using it. The conditioner did not have a strong scent, and was very creamy with a thick consistency which really soaked into my hair, especially the split ends. I usually prefer hair care with more of a scent, and would like it better if this product had a stronger scent. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a green company and sulfate free hair care products. I researched the brand a bit and am supportive of their mission. I was satisfied with my experience using the product, but would have liked to also use the shampoo prior to the conditioner to see how both products worked together in the overall appearance of my hair and results.Katie862

I had not heard of or tried Hair Food products before trying Hair Food Avocado & Argan Oil Conditioner. I love the name Hair Food, it's clever and with it being "food", you feel like you're using the best product for your hair. I love the packaging, it looks premium, is durable, and it has a pump which makes it easier to get as little or as much as you want and you know you're getting all of it without having to store the bottle upside down. I have long hair, more than halfway down my back, and I only needed a few pumps to get plenty of conditioner. You can also see through the side of the bottle to see when it's time to re-stock. I think it will be even better when I use the Hair Food Shampoo with the conditioner. I really enjoyed using the Hair Food Avocado and Argan oil conditioner. The bottle is high quality as well as aesthetically pleasing with the copper foiled design. I like that it has a pump as well as the inclusion of a transparent spoon on the side of the bottle that lets you know how much product you have left. The scent is very light and clean, there are no traces of avocado. The consistency is on the thicker side of conditioners but I quite like it like that. I love the clean formula and the outstanding ingredients that this line has. I've tried other sulfate and paraben free formula brands that neither cleansed or hydrated my hair enough so I'm ecstatic to have found this brand. The conditioner has good slip and it made detangling my long, curly, hair very easy. My hair feels soft and "fed". You can tell this brand has put a lot of thought into their product straight down to the packaging. I'm 100% pleased with it and will continue to use it.
