Love this product. My hair is badly damaged due to beach, long time use of hair colours and sunshine. This Makes my hair shiny and soft. It doesn't completely cover grey hair, but sort of colours them slightly lighter so it looks natural. Will continue using this. Excellent product. My only complaint is that I cannot find a supplier in Spain and quite costly getting it shipped hereChrissy

Best hair coloring product on the market. Semipermanent dye gradually fades without stark lines of demarcation. No buildup of permanent product means no crunchy ends. Covers my grey better than permanent; (reason I stopped using permanent dye was color lifted off and left bands of color each time I dyed it). It does tint your hair to this shade. But that's all the good it does. It made my hair very frizzy and brittle and unmanageable. It was very hard to brush my hair after washing it out. Soooo very dry. So very puffy. My hair was in good condition before this too. The color lasted only a week with 2 washes. It doesn't stick for me. I have normal density, fine strain hair. When it does wash out, it has a green hue to it. I would stay far away from this product. There's other a lot more moisturizing and healthy products to deposit color into your hair. where have you been my entire life? I have very thick course hair and I love it long. I also have a lot of gray in my roots so it gets wiry, and lets not omit the part where I insist my hairstylist texturized and razors my hair (she fights me every single time) for layers and thinning purposes. It is literally a recipe for hair trauma. I have jumped from brand to brand….some inexpensive but mostly the most expensive trying every one that says "repair, hydrate, bonding". Lets not forget no one really likes first and second day hair so all the products I add to give me third day hair is also added into the mix. Long story short? This is the first time my hair is happy, shiny and NOT weighed down or fly away. I only wash my hair once a week so the clarifying shampoo is perfect for not only buildup but scalp health. I have used both shampoo and conditioner twice and by the second time the results are STUNNING. I now have salon worthy blowouts in my own home. My hair is SHINY. It's healthy and it smells amazing. I was so excited to try the new Olaplex No.4C Bond Maintenance Clarifying Shampoo and was not disappointed! I start off by applying weekly in place of my regular shampoo to my wet hair at the scalp working to ends, working it into a lather, letting it sit for around 5 minutes to fully penetrate and process, rinse and follow with conditioner. This shampoo really does an amazing job clarifying my hair without leaving it feeling it dry like many others do because it is pH balanced. It removes buildup, damaging impurities, excess oil, pollution, heavy metals, and hard water minerals which basically covers so many things and what more could I personally ask for in a clarifying shampoo I ask myself? This shampoo also has Olaplex patented bond building technology so as I cleanse my hair it maintains strong hair bond which is so exciting in for me in this product that it has this too! My hair honestly felt and looked dull in all ways and the texture you could tell had buildup and afterwards my hair was was soft, voluminous, shiny, renewed textured, and more vibrant color too which I honestly was surprised by! My hair is also wavy and my waves are more defined and just behave better and style better, I’m so happy! Everyone needs a clarifying shampoo as part of their haircare collection. I use a clarifying shampoo once every 10 days to remove product buildup and soften my hair. Product buildup is caused by residual haircare products that are not adequately cleansed from the hair such as hair masks, conditioner, hair serums, hair oils, hair spray, etc. It’s important to incorporate a clarifying shampoo into your routine because otherwise buildup can accumulate on your scalp and stunt hair growth. In addition, residual products could weigh down the hair making it appear flat and lifeless. I'm so impressed with the Hive Bar. This is the first bar shampoo I've tried, and I had all of the same concerns everyone else does — will the bar last as long as traditional shampoo or will I have to keep buying new bars was more often? Does it even clean your hair that well? I waited a while to post a review because I wanted to find the answers to these questions. I bought a shampoo bar and conditioner set in April 2021. I just finished with the bar and still have a while to go with the conditioner bar. I wash my hair about 3 times a week, and my husband would use the bar occasionally (maybe once or twice a week). I keep my bars on the window ledge in the shower, which doesn't receive any direct water. I replaced the shampoo with Hive's blue Moisturize shampoo bar. I found that the green Maintain bar lathered up much much better, and I prefer it to the blue Moisturize bar. With liquid shampoo, my routine was always to wash twice to get a good lather, but I never had to do that with the green Maintain bar. I was honestly surprised that it would be better than traditional shampoo in that way! It is true that the conditioner bar and shampoo bar are both green, but I never had trouble telling them apart because the conditioner bar is more "shiny" and the shampoo bar is more "matte". Plus, I just keep the shampoo on the left and the conditioner on the right, so it wasn't really difficult to keep them apart. I highly recommend the Hive bar (especially the green Maintain bar!)Jule

The shampoo bars lasted about 6-7 weeks and the conditioner lasted 2 months (fine, shoulder-length hair, shampoo and condition daily). Before, I was using Pureology and loved it, but hate the harsh ingredients and the plastic bottles. Now I prefer HiBar. It look my hair about 4-5 weeks to become accustomed to it, during that time , there were a few days when it seemed my hair was less shiny (perhaps because my hair was used to the harsh chemicals Pureokogy uses to give hair that silky shine). Now my hair feels really clean- no residue, it feels smooth and looks and feels healthy. It de-tangles quickly with use of the conditioner and the shampoo lathers well. The conditioner, for me doesn’t lather but I don’t think is supposed to. It goes on well, better than other brands I have tried. Also, there is a website called the Reduce Report (that is how I found out about HiBar). This website says that some shampoo bars need an acidic rinse after use (due to the ph of the shampoo) but that HiBar does not require an acidic after rinse. I love how HiBar makes my hair look and feel. The scent is pleasant and it does not stay in my hair too long (I don’t want it to), but that’s my experience. Also it is great for travel.Sharon

I have tried only two solid bar conditioners, this one being the first. I love how the packaging is so minimal and entirely paper and cardboard, and I was surprised by the size of the bar when I took it out. I was worried about how long such a tiny thing could last. Honestly, I haven't timed its usage but I feel like it's given me around two months so far, and I scrub a lot into my head at a time. And there's STILL a bit left in the bar. When it starts getting small it really does become difficult to use on your head, but there are soap bags you can get specifically for these kinds of shampoos/conditioners to help minimize that struggle. I might cave in and get one of those eventually. When it comes to using it it does not lather or produce a lot of slick residue like a bottled conditioner would, or even other conditioner bars. It's a pretty firm and solid bar that resists getting too soft if allowed to drain and dry properly between uses. This is how such a tiny bar lasts so long. It's slippery to touch but not quick to deform in shape. After scrubbing it into my head I run it through my hair with a wide tooth comb and my fingers, let it sit while I complete the rest of my shower routine, and then rinse it out as the final step. Most importantly, I love how it works with my hair. I have low porosity hair, somewhere between a 2C/3A curl type. I'm still discovering what works best for my hair and this bar has been working wonders in getting my curls consistently moisturized, bouncy, and not a complete frizzy mess. Between the two conditioner bars I've tried so far I am going back to this one for sure. It's the clear winner of the two.The Reviewinator

I had blond balayage done to my hair and that damaged it. I read the reviews about this product, most good and a mixture of bad. When I saw the bad reviews talking about hair snapping off, I thought it was just due to the persons hair being so damaged and thought I'd give it a try. Well my hair started snapping off, every single day, some pieces long and ranging to tiny specks of hair. I have had my hair damaged horribly in the past to the point it took forever to dry and leaving burnt coarse ends. My hair did have a few areas of burnt ends but not as severe as previous experiences. So I kept using the treatment products and it kept raining pieces of my hair throughout the day. I've never had this happen even with extremely damaged hair. Sure pieces broke off but nothing like this. When the pieces snapped initially I thought it was due to the damaged ends. But then it never stopped. Smooth bits about a quarter inch kept shedding off. I couldn't wear dark shirts without constantly wiping hair bits off of it. After about a month I believed the reviews and stopped using the products. My hair slowly started snapping off less and less but I'm not sure if it was because the majority was already gone. So now my hair is varied lengths and extremely thinned out due to the different lengths it broke off. I'm not saying this product isn't good or bad because a lot of people love it but I strongly suggest not using this product if you have bleach damage without consulting your hair stylist first or having a treatment of some type done professionally. Before getting my hair to the shade it is now, I had several appointments slowly lightening my hair over roughly 6 months with hair treatments in between to maintain the health. I will never use this product again. And the snapping people comment about is real and with extreme hair thinning.Lisa R

I was someone who used to think that nothing could actually repair the bonds of your hair from the inside, especially because it went against everything I ever learned in cosmetology school, but that was 30 years ago and technology has changed, the proof is in the chemistry. I completely clarified my hair and then started using only Olaplex products exclusively. I used the entire line as recommended for damaged hair for 4 months, including number one in my hair color touch ups, and now I am a firm believer that it really does repair bonds as they claim because there is no other explanation for the positive change in my mid back length, color treated, and highlighted hair. I went from dull hair that was always tangled and broke so easily, to much healthier, shiny, soft, full hair. Despite having a lot of hair, it's very fine and before Olaplex, I could never achieve fullness without using a ton of product which was counterproductive. Usually conditioners, treatments, and masks, would weigh my hair down, but not Olaplex, it gives me the natural fullness I want without any styling product or weighing my hair down. And their purple shampoo, I can't say enough good things about it either! It is super concentrated so you need only the tiniest bit for the best results and the fact that the other products help color last longer, you don't need to use it as often as other toning shampoos, but when they say leave it on no more than two minutes, they mean it! If you use too much or leave it in too long, it will tint your hair rather than just tone it. The only Olaplaex product I don't use is the oil. Other than that, they would have to pry Olaplex from my hands. I highly recommend the entire line and starting with completely clarified hair prior to starting and use Olaplex exclusively for a few months to achieve the best results. I saw this product on my IG feed that is was available at my local grocery store and was curious. I colored my hair purple back in July and recolored it maybe a month later. I tried a few color deposit shampoos from big brands such as ion (which left my hair more neon with a pink undertone) and even tried making my own color deposit by mixing semi permanent color with sulfate free shampoo and conditioner (which it does work). However, when I found this product and tried it, none of the other products stood a chance next to No Fade Fresh! Holy cow I was IMPRESSED! The color is extremely pigmented, the consistency is a bit thin, and the smell is just meh for me but it works! It does dry my hair out but I just put a leave in conditioner afterwards and it’s fine. This product works so well that my daughter wanted to try it out. She had some blue left over in her hair that faded to a green and some blonde highlights and when we added the purple it completely changed her look in a good way! It turned her blue/green into a dark blue/purple and her blonde into a purplish magenta making her hair look like a galaxy! It was so awesome looking! The color even remained in her hair after washing it and not reapplying. To say I’m impressed is an understatement! Because of this product I may continue to stay purple for awhile. Great! I have tried over 15 dry shampoos and this is one of the better ones. Makes my hair feel soft, not greasy, and definitely not like straw. I have bleached hair and this doesn't dry it out at all.Maddie

I have fine hair, which can get quite oily. Often with dry shampoos, they thicken the hair and make it really dry. In trying Joico's dry shampoo I am pleased to say I can confidently use this and still go to work, and my hair looks nice. Smells lovely and is so easy to use. Spray at roots, massage it in, then wait a couple of minutes before brushing through for softer, clean hair.Ariane

*Received this product complementary from Influenster I am genuinely surprised by how much I like this product. First, as all Amika products do, it smells wonderful – very feminine and fresh. I have fine hair, but a lot of it. And it’s pretty wavy. The stands closest to my snack can get actual curls if I air dry. I’ve bleached and dyed my hair several times since 2020 so my poor hair has been begging for moisture and replenishing hair products. Two pumps of this stuff at night before bed, and the next morning my hair was noticeably softer and even had a little hint of shine. And it didn’t weigh down my fine hair or make it feel sticky or wet. I’ve even used it a few nights in a row and still had no issue with my hair looking like it had serum in it. Firstly, I feel like I love everything about this product. It smells good, it’s lightweight, and it adds a ton of moisture to my hair. The bottle it comes in is really nice as well, it’s even a bit textured like etched or frosted glass and I feel like that adds a nice touch. I have seen in hair extensions which can require a bit more work than natural hair as they don’t receive the natural oils being produced by your body the way your natural hair does. This hair mask adds in the perfect amount of moisture to my hair One thing that I’m always worried about when trying new hair product is if my hair will look greasy or not. I have a decent amount of hair but it’s very, very, fine and tends to look greasy really easily. This hair mask doesn’t make my hair look greasy at all and it’s so lightweight. I found this on my last trip @ Sally’s and I was originally going in for the Zotos No Poo shampoo for curls, but noticed this right next to it! I remember Wella being a pretty decent mid range brand and the last time I tried this it had “diamond dust” in it and it smelled delicious // this looks revamped with Lime Caviar which idk what it really means but it’s cute lol 😂 I’ll take it reminds me of the brand, Alterna and their brand is all about Anti Aging hair care + Caviar everything 🔥🔥🥰🥰 // this new version smells different but still great it’s a light scent, not heavy at all. I got this product in travel size from an ulta blind bag with the conditioner a while ago . I used this on a whim for travel and was completely hooked !!! I have PCOS which causes me to have an extremely oily scalp that has dandruff / buildup. I have tried probably 100s of shampoos . Paul Mitchell tea tree , organix ,biólage , selson blue , head and shoulders and even a prescription shampoo along with many more and none of them have helped control my oily scalp and are usually extremely drying on my hair causing breakage and lots of frizz . Ever since I switched to this shampoo my scalp feels so clean and my oil has drastically reduced to the point where I can wait 2-3 days between washes ! I have been using the shampoo and conditioner combo for fine hair every 2-3 days for about 10 years. It was excellent until they changed the formula 1 year ago?? Now, I can't stand the scent, it is so strong!! I exchanged it once because i thought it was expired but, no, i guess that was the new scent. Performance wise, it is not as moisturizing and I also find myself using a lot more of it to get the shampoo to foam and for the conditioner to make my hair feel soft. As other reviewers stated, I couldn't see the difference of length in my hair by using this but as someone with natural hair, this product definitely provides the moisture you need when your hair is on the dry side. I’ve been using this line of hair products for a while, and it is a great moisture lock for 4b/4c hair! I highly recommend using this product with your favorite leave in-conditioner, as it mixes well with just about any! I paired this grease with after I washed my hair and performed a twist based protective style on my hair, and after few days, my hair is still moisturized!! The only cons to this product is that if you solely use it on your hair, it will be extremely greasy and it does have a slight smell to it. After you get done rubbing it into your hair, the surrounding area will smell like the grease, haha. To alleviate the smell, don’t just use this on your hair alone. Also, if you happen to pat or scratch your hair, there will be some residue on your hands. To yield the best results, pair it with another product!!ace.r

So I want to start by saying I live in the desert and have super thin dry hair, so I was SUPER excited to try this product (I used all four products – shampoo, conditioner, mask, and leave in condition together). I used all four products for this account: At first I was only going to give this a 3 because on day one of hair being washed, I feel like my hair still ends of feeling and looking really dry (especially the tips – see photos). BUT day two my hair looked/felt better, and day three my EVEN better! I showered all three days, it only used the products the first day, so you can see the progress of how my hair softened, my curls came out, AND I LOVED how my hair felt day 3/4. Normally with silicone products day 3 I HAVE to wash my hair again because the product is so heavy at my roots, whereas I LOVED how these products made my hair feel several days later. I still took off a star because of how dry my hair feels on day one. I have to suffer through one day of my hair bit feeling so great to get to better hair days, and I don’t really love that aspect. But overall I would definitely recommend to others. Perhaps slightly ticker hair wouldn’t have as much problem on day one – mine is just so very thin.rebecca.d

I've used this product intermittently for 15+ years. Over the last 5 or so it's become my go-to. I have fine, type 3 curls, low/medium porosity and medium density. I can't even begin to tell you how many different shampoos/conditioners I've tried, and I always come back to this set or the Ultra Hydrasource. I've never experienced any hair loss whatsoever, in fact, I have with other brands and once I go back to this it stops. The smell is absolutely amazing also! I wash my 1-2x a week with this, and in between I use a co-wash from Curlsmith. I always start with using the detangling solution from this line and brush through in the shower with my wet brush. I rinse, shampoo with this, then use the Hydrasource conditioner or a deep conditioner. I comb that through and let sit for several minutes and rinse. Even with very dark natural hair and having bleached highlights (touch ups every 3-6 months), my hairdresser brags about how healthy my hair is! I get a trim every 8 weeks, and she always tells me I don't even need it because of how healthy my ends are, even during post-COVID hair issues I was experiencing (loss and thinning). My husband also started using this when he ran out of his Redken Brews and his hair is VERY fine and thin, and he said he couldn't believe how much better his hair looked and felt (he's also a curly guy, only getting his hair cut/shaved 2-3x year). ⭐️First of all let’s get this out of the way, I was incentivized. I received these samples for free from Influenster and matrix for my honest opinion⭐️ Now that’s out of the way… Oh my hair is loving me right now… I waited until shampoo day and it was well worth it! After using the amazing shampoo I was a little skeptical that my hair would take to this conditioner because it’s so damaged and after I wash it I usually have to put a million and one conditioning products in it just to make it manageable!!! Well let me tell you this is not the case! After issuing a decent size dollop I ran it through my hair starting at the ends and working my way up to the root. Then I added a little bit of water to make it activate a little bit and VIOLA! I let it sit in my hair for about 5 to 10 minutes and then I rinse with lukewarm water. I gently towel dry my hair afterwards and went to come through with a white tooth comb. This is the first time that the comb actually ran through my hair because my hair is so damaged. I literally want to cry. If your hair is out of control and it’s breaking to no end you should really try this and give it a little time and you will see such a difference. I want to wash my hair so badly again but I know I have to wait till it’s actually dirty! The smell is so lovely and it doesn’t fade away but it’s also not overbearing. Give it a try it!! I absolutely loves this #shampoo paired with the conditioner! My hair is color treated and has been dry and frizzy and damaged lately. I’ve been having nothing but bad hair days. I received a sample of Aveda a while back and was enamored of the results so I finally got it from Amazon in #CherryAlmond, a scent I love. The fragrance is a bit subtle and doesn’t stay long but is pleasant and I think it would pair well with Jergens #cherry #almond body wash and lotion. ✨✨✨✨✨ I only just used this this morning for the first time and my usually frizzy and dry hair looks so shiny and healthy and tangle-free. It’s a little messy in the video because I let it air dry and didn’t use additional products. And the lighting is terrible, but you can still see in the video how shiny and healthy it looks and while I don’t have a Before video, trust me it’s a huge improvement. ✨✨✨✨✨ I recommend this stuff so much to all hair types, and when I was using it I felt like I wasn’t really using enough but it turned out I was wrong, it’s light but you don’t have to use extra – it’s effective. I was using Sap Moss shampoo and the Cherry Almond conditioner for a long time; before that, a "drugstore" type of inexpensive shampoo and the Cherry Almond conditioner. It wasn't until I tried both the Cherry Almond shampoo and the conditioner together that my hair completely changed – it only took one time and I could comb through my wet thick wavy hair with ease. After my hair dried (air dry, no hair dryer), it was so soft and silky. All this because Aveda sent me a sample of the shampoo with my last order, otherwise I might not have tried it. I have naturally dry, thick, 2c/3a curls. I have almost four decades of attempts to find the right products before stumbling into Cherry Almond 3 years ago. I've occasionally experimented with other formulas as all product junkies do but always am reminded this particular one is the holy grail to me. Amazing scent that isn't overpowering for my scent sensitive daughter to identify as "you always just smell yummy clean". The creamy pearly consistency of both the shampoo and conditioner are perfect. I use a dollop of the leave in cherry almond conditioner when I leave my curls natural or a drop of Aveda composition oil when I flatten my curls straight. I genuinely receive constant compliments on my hair and have felt lucky to donate my healthy shiny length several times. I've heard this particular line was discontinued then brought back before I discovered it. I hope that never happens again though I currently buy several liters at a time just in case it does. Cherry Almond is a game changer to leave my locks shiny, soft, and never weighed down.Jess

First thing is I received this #freeproduct color mask in the color "pitch black". I'm upset as this was not a black color at all, it's gray. While technically the color is on the bottle in a small font where it can be overlooked, it's still misleading calling it black. Since I already dye my hair black I thought I could use this to cover my roots and brighten the rest. I was so wrong. I applied it on dry hair and left it on beyond the 15 minutes in the directions, for about an hour under a cap (to benefit from the "mask" oils). Even though this is a darker gray, it didn't cover my natural brunette color at my roots and left my hair looking dull and kinda dirty. However it did leave my normally dry curly hair soft to the touch, but it was still extremely frizzy and prone to breakage after. Fortunately for me after the 1st wash a little more than half the color came out and my hair looked less dull & dirty. It still felt soft for a while even after adding frizz control serums. I'm really hoping the other colors are more accurate and perhaps work slightly better on darker hair, but this is still a good hair mask, which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. I would probably recommend this more to someone who has lighter hair for color purposes and others more for the mask part, but not at it's current price. Ok – so the color transfer worked better than I thought it might… meaning it did deposit quite a lot of color. It was relatively easy to use, and was not harsh on my hair or scalp. My hair is feeling soft after using, but will see how it does after washing again. However, the colors need better descriptions, especially the colors like La Plage. I used La Plage which is merely described as "sand" on very light blonde hair, hoping to restore some more natural sandy blonde color to my hair again. The product did work on my dry hair depositing color in 15 minutes, but the color I would not describe as "sand." There are parts that are very very strawberry blonde or reddish blonde, and some that are slightly more subtle with the reddish hues. It did restore a more natural-looking color to my hair, just not the color I was hoping for. I think the other colorful colors will be hard to confuse, but the La Plage was not very straight forward. I also bought the "strawberry" color expecting to use it later in the summer, but I may try it sooner than expected considering this strawberry blonde is not really what I wanted. I will try to update this review again later. For now, I'm going to give this a few days and see what the color does after a few washes. Also, I had watched a video review of the "magic" color before purchasing. That color is very gray, and on the darker side. Buyer be aware there are colors that need better descriptions than offered on the packaging alone.AmyB

I received this #freeproduct from #trywithtopbox in the shade Strawberry Milkshake. I have naturally straight dark brown hair, between a level 4 or 5 and get it balayaged to a sandy neutral blonde, between a level 7/8. I've wanted to try something new without making a drastic change for a while now and decided to give this a shot. The instructions say that you can use on dry hair for up to 15 minutes a more intense color or on wet hair for a few minutes for a more subtle look. I really did not want a noticeable difference, so I left it on for about 10 to15 minutes on wet hair and the result was very, very subtle. The color is mostly visible up close or in sunlight, and it looked very soft and pastel – almost peach colored. This was perfect for me and just want I was looking for. The color, however, did not last. After my first wash it completely faded away, which is fine considering I was not looking for anything permanent. The best part though was the way it made my hair feel, it was so incredibly soft! Better than my Amika hair mask and the smell was wonderful. This may work better if your hair is already lightened and you leave it on dry hair for 20-30 min, but if you're looking for something subtle that is not long lasting and will leave your hair feeling soft and smooth, then this is a great product.Meegs

I usually deal with a very frizzy and unruly hair that is just too stubborn. This shampoo is the product that I did not know I need it. This shampoo works well on frizzy hair. It cleans really really well. My hair feels clean without being stripped. Smells so so delicious! It rinses off without a residue! It nourishes my hair and makes it soft. My curls have become so so bouncy and defined, I am literally loving it. My hair is no longer frizzy which is amazing. This is a great shampoo. I will definitely repurchase! Lastly, it is a bonus it is vegan. And gluten free! I haven't really tried an effective vegan shampoo until I tried this one! Highly reccomend!LetisyaT

Standing in the shower, on the first wash, my hair definitely didn't feel clean. The Curl Charisma didn't remove any of the products I had previously used during the week. Using a cleansing shampoo, I was able to get rid of any buildup. Then, I shampooed again with the Curly Charisma. It is a very thin shampoo and doesn't suds up (which I was kind of disappointed with after my first/second wash). Finally, I was ready for the Curly Charisma conditioner. It's thick and creamy. Worked through my hair and let it sit while was washed. Honestly, my hair may not have been in need of the rice amino and avocado hydration the shampoo and conditioner claim they have. My curls weren't limp by any stretch of the imagination but I felt like they were at vivacious and voluminous as always. I only purchased the 8oz. bottles. So, I may try again but I won't feel bad if I end up tossing. For context, I live in Utah (dry climate) and have very curly blonde hair. Love the Curly Charisma Co-wash. As others have commented, this shampoo is very drying. I noticed my hair felt dry (not stripped; but dry) after the very first wash. But, I have to be honest, my curls looked amazing! So much so that I went out the next week and bought the matching conditioner. But over time my hair just got drier and drier and eventually felt like straw after each wash. After about 4 weeks my hair was extremely dry all the time and had significantly more frizz. By 6 weeks I was noticing much more shedding and my curls were stringy and limp. . I tried everything to fix it. Different stylers. More frequent clarifying etc.. but my curls were falling flat and the frizz was out of control. I finally had to admit it was the shampoo. I stopped using this about 2 weeks ago and switched to the Shine shampoo and conditioner by Curlsmith. I saw an immediate improvement. Curls came back; frizz is better. It will take time to undo the damage from this shampoo but I'm so glad I stopped using it. If you hair truly, truly needs protein (like a lot of protein) then this could work great for you. But it was definitely damaging to my hair.Chris

Okay I'm curious about this product and the claims it helps reduce shedding/fallout. I can say I had less shedding after using this shampoo. I will see how it does after a few washes. It wasn't very moisturizing for me though. The SNAG FREE pre shampoo had such great slip and had my hair feeling great. I was expecting a lot more from this shampoo. I’m a huge fan of pre-pooing since it makes washing my 3c/4a hair much easier and this pre-shampoo did not disappoint. I like that I could easily work it into larger sections so I didn’t have to spend too much time applying it. I sectioned my hair into 4 parts and then sectioned each of those into two (for a total of 8 sections) to work the product in. I went in with a quick finger detangle then followed up with my detangling brush. Let’s just say my curls were poppin! Made the shampooing and conditioning steps a breeze.a2b18

Okay when I first tried this I was like what ? This step has been a game changer in my curly routine. I never thought of detangling my hair before shampoo. Ever since I’ve been using this before, I definitely feel a huge difference when I use my shampoo. I feel like my hair gets a better cleanse after being detangle instead of shampooing on tangles hair. I have curly hair so sometimes the tangles are real. The shampoo is minty and after a good washing, leaves the scalp with a tingle. After blow drying, my hair feels very clean and bouncy. I color my hair every 8 weeks, so I am especially a fan as this product is color safe. With age and over processing, my hair has thinned. With that said, I felt I was the perfect candidate to test this product. My hair now has visible volume and with time and continued use, it should become much thicker as well. I really wish that I had more time to use this product before submitting a review, as hair grows slowly and I could have given a more accurate review. I received a sample of this product in an exchange for an honest review from Influenster. I have been using it for the last 17 days. I have curly, dark brown, graying hair that has seen it’s share of box dye. That being said, although I like the tingling feeling this product has on my scalp, and although I do leave this conditioner in for the recommended 3 minutes at least, I find that my hair is very dry and frizzy. I wish that there was a way to add something a bit more moisturizing. I’m addition it says to use the product daily for best results. I hadn’t been one to wash my hair daily before so it takes some getting used to. In the shower while it sits in my hair, I clip it up to prevent premature rinsing. But honestly, my hair does look a bit thicker. I cannot wait to see what the remainder of the bottle brings to me.victoria.s

Me and my very expensive balayage highlights are so glad we tried this shampoo! I would totally buy it again and have already recommended it to anyone with ears and gray or highlighted or blonde hair! It smells amazing and I see an instant brightening go my highlights… I mean Hey, if your going to spend an arm and a leg getting great highlights, you should have the most amazing tools to care for them. I received this product in exchange for a review. This product works pretty well but not out of the ballpark amazing. I am 6 months pregnant right now and currently have a hard time keeping up on my platinum blonde hair. That being said thai product is pretty concentrated and does it's job pretty well for the ends of my hair that are still very much blonde. I really don't like the smell of this shampoo I think it is overwhelmingly resemblance of being in a salon and am pretty glad the scent does not continue far beyond the rinse. As for if it improved my hair structure I would say I didn't see any improvement there at all but I still have a full bottle despite using it daily. The yellow tone though is pretty much gone though. I would recommend it if it were drastically price cut because the price tag associated with this product is way too high in my opinion I've used other products under 10 dollars with the same results that you can easily pick up at your local store.Hefaroni26

I know the going trend is purple/grey platinum blonde, which I don't think this would be the best for, but if u want to keep your warmth without being brassy, this works better than any purple shampoos I've used. I have a lot of Irish heritage, pale skin and eyes, lots of light freckling in sun touched spots and firey red and gold inside my naturally brown follicles that shines very brightly in sun light. The warmth has become more pronounced with age and even the stripes of brunette that are left untouched after doing lightening balayage are a redening chestnut/auburn. the warm blonde really compliments my coloring so I'm not complaining, I just don't want it to be too yellow or too brassy. all of the other purple shampoos I have tried made my hair look almost green, even redken which I read was specifically recommended by experts for warm blondes, and it didn't matter how quick I rinsed it out after applying,, it clashed with my hair coloring so badly.. I hated it. I was so thrilled to try this and find it actually worked perfectly, no brassy-ness or ugly yellow, just perfectly golden honey warm blonde and auburn/chestnut. I love ash blonde and the purple tinted platinum but this happy accident of a warm hair color works better on me than I'd have imagined and I'm so thrilled to find a way to maintain it. idk about it being drying like some others said, I've found all purple shampoos to be a little drying, I assumed because they lather so well and also I do a pre-wash so there's no product impeding it. having color treated hair, I always add lots of super conditioning products, hydraters and proteins treatments before I'm done on wash day and also being a warm blonde, I only use purple shampoo once a month, preferably when it's time for a clarifying cleanse and I do an oil treatment the night before. I tried to get a pic of the hair but it doesn't do justice and I gtg but u get an idea. also thanks to quarantine, I haven't had any coloring in a year.SNikic

I really like using these products and how my hair feels after using them. I ordered the whole set during the flash sale and when I received the products the shampoo, conditioning spray, and the conditioner weren't closed properly so most of the product was in the bottom of the box. I sent an email about the issue but I received another email for a link that doesn't work to open a ticket. No one has reached out to me and I have been sent the same link twice. My previous order the pumps on the bottles were broken. I just chalked that up to shipping but when the products are sent to you already opened, that's a whole other issue.Marcia W.

This is one of my top five shampoos for people who have a four c hair texture! The smell is amazing. It definitely gives off hints of pomegranate and honey which is the perfect snow combination. It provides a thick rich and full leather without having to use 17 pumps of shampoo. I Projects like that mielle products are parabens and sulfates paraffins and mineral oil all free. I will be the first to say that being that I have for sea hair this is not a detangling product. Moisturizing absolutely. Cleaning your hair it also removes all the impurities. I was a little disappointed when I received my black Friday package from Mielle. I have ordered before and have been pleased but this time it was like everything was thrown in a box and shipped. The box was so beat up its like the products could have came out and almost would have im certain had it been tossed around any more and I know that part wasn't so much their fault but I figured it would have been put into another box to ship to prevent that problem. The products had no confetti at least to soften how its thrown around everything was so greasy i thought for sure a product or 3 were leaking and also nothing was wrapped at least in bubble wrap considering how it was boxed up. Literally just thrown in the box any kind of way. It’s a clear shampoo with a great clean scent. Unlike some sulfate free, no build up type shampoos, this didn’t leave my dry and frizz prone hair feeling stripped. It actually gave my hair a soft and smooth feeling. I use this once weekly and wash with another shampoo for my other shampooing during the week. I can’t speak to how this product works for those who wash daily but it definitely feels gentle. I’d been wanting to try this brand for quite some time and I actually won this product so I received it free. My opinion is my own honest feedback after using the shampoo weekly for the past 3 months. I’m interested in trying other products from Color Wow, especially the Dream Coat. I originally got this from a Today Show steals & deals segment (they sucker me in all the time) and received full size shampoo, conditioner, and 3 other styling and heat protectant products. I always try things for several weeks, go back to my usual stuff for several weeks and see if I can tell a difference. I absolutely positively can with this shampoo/conditioner! My hair is silky, light, bouncy, shiny and not greasy at all. My notice my ends don’t get as dry between washes (I was my hair once/week) and I can go much longer before I need dry shampoo. My color looks amazing and even if I didn’t have any color (majority of my hair is my natural color) I would still use WOW. Give it a shot – it’s very comparable to SUPER expensive/higher end stuff and PRO TIP for you girls saying it left your hair “gunky” – girl get your head under the bathroom sink after your shower with cold cold water to make sure ALL of it is out of your hair/scalp. I wish I could give this 4.5 stars. The smell is mild, nice. It lathers up well. It doesn’t tangle my hair like some other sulfate free shampoos do. It creates beautiful shine. I don’t notice any color fallout at all. Overall I really enjoy this shampoo and have repurchased it a few times. My issue is that I feel like I have to use a lot of it each time and if I wash my hair more than twice a week, the ends can feel a little dry. But I don’t have another shampoo that I like better so I just use a heavier conditioner on my ends. 🙂AZDocFox
