Absolutely worth the money. I was apprehensive about buying this hair dryer brush but after researching multiple brands online, I was told this was one of the more beginner friendly hair dryer brushes on the market. Its a little awkward to handle I will admit, since it is comically large, but its light enough to not cause pain in my wrists. Drying my mid-back length hair with this brush took no more than 30 mins. I usually have to deal with getting hair rollers done, sitting in a dryer for 45 minutes, spending 15 minutes having a blower used to straighten my edges, and then another 15 to 20 minutes with a straightening iron. I have mid back length thick natural hair with textures 4a, 4b and 4c coming from my scalp. Using this blow dryer is the first time I have ever been able to blow dry my own hair straight in 20 years of attempts. It was easy to use and does take time, but I feel a sense of accomplishment. I used a heat protectant and mostly low heat, detangled it and sectioned it into 8 sections. Mind you, it is a blow dryer- I would still need to flat iron it to get a bone straight style, but this certainly exceeded my expectations and has been a joy to use. When I first got this blow dryer, I could not stop raving about it. I love how convenient it is. It can get your hair pretty straight, if you let it. With that being said you can easily damage your hair. I love that this has a cool air setting, for people like me who easily damaged their hair. It's easy to use, but it also can be slippery on the handle if you're using product on your hair. I have type 4C hair, and the brush bristles help me to get it as straight as possible. This is my first foray into pomades, and I was braced for something between a hair oil and the crunchy gels of the 80s. I was pleasantly surprised to find Cremo delivered something far better. This pomade is a solid hold, especially when worked through do hair, and it holds for 24 hours, if not longer. I've been able to mist water on my hair and comb it back into place after sleeping for a second day's hold. It doesn't have a strong smell, which is great — nothing to compete with my aftershave and cologne. I have 3a/b curly hair, ringlets with big volume and I thought I'd never be able to wear my hair straight without using a straightener religiously. I recently received this Cremo Thickening Styling Paste #freeproduct from #trywithtopbox to try in exchange for an honest review. This is the first time my fiancé is trying a styling paste, he usually uses hair glue for his hair. He found that the product was easy to use and work into his hair. The texture of the paste is really soft and not at all sticky or tacky. It however does not have as much hold as his usual hair glue. He actually has pretty thick hair to begin with so he couldn't tell if there was a thickening effect. However, he said he really loved the scent of product. Most hair styling products he has tried usually smells waxy or has a overwhelming perfumy scent. This one smells like an old fashioned barber shop. I wish I didn't throw out the packaging because I really want to return this. It's so obnoxiously loud! When I'm blow-drying near my ears I have to cover with one hand or I end up with ringing or an earache. I have been using a brush style hairdryer for over 10 years. It does the best job drying and straightening my fine, frizzy hair. My old dryer died when I took it on vacation, so it was time for a new one. This brush dryer is a happy upgrade from my previous one. It has 3 heat settings plus a cool shot button. This is AWESOME! My hair is fine, straight, colored, and in desperate need of a trim (and toner). On a normal day I would use products to tone down frizz, protect from heat, etc but I’m about to try Manic Panic at home so I skipped all products. Have a beard with some decent length and I use the roller to help blow dry it a little straighter. Was using just a traditional comb before this and ever since I started using the roller, my beard length has improved after blow drying as well as fullness. Could not recommend enough.Zachary S.

Though product says, blowout small head, it is huge and bulky to me. I air dry my thick, shoulder length hair to almost dry and this use this blowout brush. High is really hot and low is good. The cool is louder than other two settings. Except for it being bulky and a bit heavy and cumbersome for me, it dries my thick hair pretty good. But way to big to use on bangs! I was skeptical of how well this product would work but I am in love! I have shoulder length medium thickness wavy/frizzy hair. I've always dried my hair with a dryer and round bush but never could get my fair to lay flat without using additional hot tools. Finally, my hair is smooth, soft, and without frizz. I wouldn't say it added more volume than I normally get with a round brush but definitely much less frizz! My husband even commented that I had flat ironed my hair except I DIDN'T! It was all this dryer. I will say the high heat setting is very hot so be careful. I towel dried my hair until it was about 80% dry and then used the low heat setting just to be safe. I have used the Revlon equivalent of this brush dryer for a couple of years. I can count on one hand how many times I've used my regular blow dryer in that time frame. I can almost emulate a salon blow out (I say almost because the man who does my blow outs is freakin awesome). Now, there are some things you have to realize going in. You should let your hair either air dry at least 50% or more or use a regular blow dryer first. It will take much longer to style your hair if you start with a soaking wet head. My routine is to wash my hair at night and let it air dry a while. Spray hair with a heat protectant. Than I use this volumizer to get body, volume, and shiny hair. Usually, I brush and go the next morning. Worse case is I need a bit of a touch up. Again, I spray heat protectant. Run this baby through my hair a few times. It only takes 2 or 3 minutes max. And I'm out the door. Yes, it is loud. Yes, it takes a bit of getting used to. But my hair is so much healthier since I'm not using nearly the amount of heat I used to with a blow dryer and a flat iron to reduce frizz. I get my hair colored a vibrant red every 6 to 8 weeks so damage and fade out are always things I need to be aware of. My color stays fresh for a much longer period of time. I will never go back to my regular blow dryer and brush routine. This has made life so much easier. And my hair has never been healthier and never looked better. Over lockdown I grew my hair out like a lot of people and decided to go to for a traditional barber cut afterwards ending up with a slick back style. I found my existing hair products a bit lacking so decided to look into getting more professional (if you will) products. After some research I liked the look of Uppercut's products and also their brand ideals and after browsing their site settled on the Matte Pomade. Now that I've been using it for a while and figured out the best amount and application for my hair I'm really pleased with it. It's light and not too shiny giving my hair a natural look which I really like. It also washes out well with water meaning I don't have to put my hair through shampooing every day but still working without making my hair greasy or limp a couple of days after shampooing. I do find I need to hold the sides with some hairspray but that could be down to my hair or inexperience in styling longer hair (any plans for adding hairspray to your range?). Just on a side note, I was sent a really handy little guide with the product that gave scores out of 10 for hold and shine for all the styling products which was much more helpful than the info on the site in my opinion. Seems quite effective in adding volume for men with a finer hair type and looking for a product that does that. Could be re-applied intra-day if desired or needed, as it is to be applied to dry hair rather than wet. I would say this also means it doesn't really combine or work very well if you try to add it after using another styling product (say you wanting it just to add more volume for example). It functions more as a standalone product from what I've found. Because it has a less firm hold it should work well for those after something to allow a looser natural-looking style and adding volume at the same time, less so for those who want a style that needs a more controlled styling product with a firmer hold to pull off.Luke

Spend the money and get the decent brush. Conair makes a lot of things I love and use, great value most of the time. I just scooped my wet hair up in this and Tangled it all up in there so that it was literally resting on top of my head. 40 minutes later and an entire bottle of leaving greasy conditioner I finally worked the brush loose with a pick comb. I have never had this with any other round blow dry brush ever. Here's a tip I found online if you ever get your brush in and it literally will not move at all, do a Google search for how to get a stuck brush out of your hair. It recommends going very gently from the bottom, after you have dumped on a ton of conditioner to slick it up.NJ

Lord Have Mercy I thought I was going to have to cut out a swath of my hair. I tried it on almost dry hair and followed directions only using on the end and somehow it engulfed the entire swath of hair and I thought I would never get it out. My absolute favorite curling wand. I have the 1inch and the ¹/2 – 1 inch curling wands. They heat up and cool down really fast. Easy to use. Gives my hair bounce and volume. The Bed Head Curling Wand is my first curling wand that I have ever tried. Before, I just used a regular curling iron that I wrap my hair around but this is a pretty great curling wand! This is a great wand that heats up to 400 degrees (F) to ensure heating and holding power. I was very curious about that because my hair has a tendency to lose the curl quickly and it requires higher heating temperatures to ensure that it keeps. Now, that is not obviously shown but just given an easy to use on/off button. This is a large barrel 1 ½” that is clamp free but does come with a stand. Not only that, I was extremely grateful that this came with a protective glove to keep me from getting burned! I did unfortunately get my hair cut this past week to about right at my shoulders whereas it was quite a bit longer before my trim and now it is not the best size for my hair length. I could get a few strands wrapped around it, though, and the curl turned out so cute! I know it is weird but I even noticed that the cord was good quality to where I felt like it would not get ripped or easily messed up. I am NOT a hair person so any tool that comes along meant to make dealing with my hair an easier task I am more than willing to give it a try. This is similar to another popular brand on the market but it has less attachments. This is definitely not a bad thing unless you need the other attachments to achieve the look you are hoping for. The instructions for this one is pretty straightforward and simple, even for someone like me. The smoothing brush attachment does an okay job smoothing my hair texture but I immediately knew I would have to add one more tool to this setup to accommodate my natural hair texture and get the smoothness I need to avoid any additional heat in my hair after completing the process until my next hair wash. So I did have to use a flat iron to truly smooth my hair out. Also, because of the texture of my hair (which many women of color may be in the same boat) the idea of leaving hair not completely dry to use the curling attachment isn’t realistic as my hair would not hold up 5 minutes after walking out of the door if I tried that and my hair would become a huge poofy mess. Using a small amount of setting spray on each section before using the curling attachment is what works for me. My daughter & I use several size/width BaByliss flatirons. We are African American with curlier textured hair. We nicknamed the Mini "Baby Bop". My daughter uses it almost everyday because she likes her edges straight! This little flat iron is awesome because it gets HOT almost as soon as you turn it on. I purchased this to iron my bangs when I'm traveling for work. You have to section your hair into small portions and it's very difficult to finish with a slight curl at the end. My bangs end up looking straight and almost comical anytime I use this. It's not even that good at small touchups around the face etc. I've given it a few tries, and no luck. I'll continue to travel with my full size.Colleen

I have stayed away from mini flat irons because they did not get hot enough to straighten my curly hair. I have not used this yet but did test it upon receipt. There is no heat control which I wish there were. It did get hot enough for my hair so I am very excited to take it on my next vacation so I can leave my regular, expensive flat iron at home. Looks and feels like a quality flat iron. I am very happy with it so far.AnnieB

My daughter & I use several size/width BaByliss flatirons. We are African American with curlier textured hair. We nicknamed the Mini "Baby Bop". My daughter uses it almost everyday because she likes her edges straight! This little flat iron is awesome because it gets HOT almost as soon as you turn it on. The plates leave your hair silky and because of it's evenly distributed heat, you can straighten your hair in no time flat!. You have more control flat ironing those hard to reach places (around the ears, the nape of the neck, edges etc.) without getting burned. I had purchased our first Mini quite some time ago.
