To start, I am Asian (Korean) and 20 years old. It is definitely working. I noticed improvements after I completed the first package. My hair fuller and my baby hair gets longer which I’m so happy to see. The only downsides are irritation in my scalp although I’m using %2 ketoconazole shampoo. Also, when it used 2 times a day you will experience abnormal hair growth on the body. You will need to wash your hair more because of the residue on the hair. Finally you need to stick with it and you can’t discontinued otherwise you will lose what you gain. However seeing my hair back, thicker, longer make me ignore the cons and hopefully the company works to improve the product and minimize the side effects.Jana
So the picture on the left was taken last year in December and I didn’t start rogaine until March. The first pic sent me into a spiral and I’ve cried so many tears about my thinning hair! If you’re feeling hopeless like me, go to your dermatologist and ask them about hairloss. It could be hormonal, genetic, stress induced, etc. Along with using rogaine I was prescribed Spironolactone which also helps with hairloss. Any minoxidil in general will work for your hair. When I had problems with my hair falling out 10 years ago I started using this and it worked well but I used the women's formula. The one is formula made my scalp really dry and itchy and I saw on a TV show that a woman can use the men's formula only once a day. So I started using that. The men's formula is oily but not drying. It really works to stop your hair from falling out but the problem is you have to keep using it. I figured out over the years what my hair loves. So now I've mixed up my own oils and use henna and Aphogee protein treatment every four weeks and I have discontinued the minoxidil.lani.r

I didn’t know I was receiving this product so it was a lovely surprise when I opened up the box and saw what I got! I felt like a kid on Christmas morning… a kid with thinning hair from age? Lol. At first I was skeptical because I was assuming it was going to be a serum that would need to be pumped out and then massaged into my scalp which I’m not a fan of necessarily but if it works I’ll manage and use it. BUT I was pleasantly surprised that it was a fine mist that required little effort to mist on my scalp and rub in. Another great product by Nioxin! I'll start with the cons. Cons: • Makes my hair appear greasy faster which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Instead of washing 1-2x a week, I ended up washing it 2-3x a week. • The instructions do say to use daily for exceptional results, which I did at first, but because of the greasy appearance, I only used it on the days I washed my hair. • Pricey (but it DOES yield results). Pros: • My hair is thicker after a month of using. I noticed my strands didn't break as easily. • Product does not make your hands feel oily. • ~2/3 of product still left after 1 month (for medium length hair). I absolutely love this supplement. I started taking these about 7 months ago and was very skeptical at first. I was noticing my hair thinning more and more over the last year or two and was getting very self conscious about it. I started really noticing a difference about 3-4 months into taking them. I’ve noticed recently that I can no longer see my scalp through my hair like before. I wish I would have taken food before and current pictures. I have recommended this supplement to several friends also suffering with thinning hair issues.
Great ingredients, however my gynaecologist warned that biotin in non-deficient patients will do nothing for the perimenopausal hair loss; she rather suggested to take care of B12. Also, the lab work came with a note saying that the thyroid function, testosterone, SHGB, DHEA-s test results will be skewed if on high-dose biotin substitution (more than 5mg/day)! I love Curlsmith for the quality of their products and that they are made of natural ingredients and vegan. I wrongfully assumes the great lengths supplements would also be vegan.
