The only thing I would like is to be able to lock the button and not have to depress it while using the hose…especially in hard to reach areas like my oven and the whole device has to be held upright so it's a balancing act. The actual steam part works great, no doubt about that. I've tried it for cleaning and steaming clothes, but the unit can be clunky and awkward. The cord can be a problem simply because you have to be near an outlet all the time. The unit is not super steady and balanced, so it sometimes tipped over or tilted forward like it was going to fall. There was no way to tell how much water had been used up or when it was empty until it just stopped producing steam and then you'd have to wait several minutes before you could water in it again, so that was a little annoying. This is not much bigger than dollhouse furniture if you ask me. I bought this months ago and if I had actually taken it out to use it before now, I would have returned it. I had no idea the parts were this small! Good for cleaning very very small spaces! Couldn't handle the laundry area at all. Only good for maybe a sink. Very Good product, only used it a couple of times so far on kitchen stove, stove hood grease and tile backsplash. Basically super heats the greasy material to make it easy to wipe or scrub off and loosen dirt and grime build up. I still chose to complete the task using a mild cleaner but it definitely made it easier and reduce the total cleaning time. We will see how the seals and plastic parts last over time but it seems solid and I'm a mechanical engineer who has designed plastic and metal parts my whole career. Only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is that it is cumbersome to use at times having to hold the tank in one hand depressing the steam button while scrubbing with the hose end in your other hand, then putting that end down to clean up the residue. A trigger built into the hose end that the attachments connect to would be a game changer freeing up the other hand.

This steamer does a pretty good job being being that it is small and not that expensive. I bought a similar one many years ago that leaked water and barely steamed so I am totally happy with this little guy. I use it to steam my husband’s work pants that are supposed to be wrinkle free but aren’t. He drives quite a distance to work and is a physical therapist so he doesn’t have to be a suit and tie kind of person. But I still want him to look NOT disheveled. Due to his commute he will always be a bit wrinkled so ironing is kinda of a waste of time but using this steamer totally takes care of the bad wrinkles so he doesn’t appear to be in complete disarray! It doesn’t leak, and so far after several months of NOT constant use seems to be holding up pretty well. I do use distilled water in it. Bought it about 4 years ago, had about 15 steams out of it. Used distilled water like it says. It's still got clogged, tried to clean it with vinegar and water, did nothing. Now it's leaking, barely steaming, spitted out a big cloud of grey dirty steam on my yellow dress, I hope it'll come off. I didn’t love this steamer. I looked at many different garment steamers, read reviews and decided to buy this one as it sounded like it would do a great job on tougher fabrics. I was disappointed. Even though it has a turbo steam, different attachment heads and different steam settings even the highest steam didn’t get wrinkles out of some of my stiffer cotton fabrics. It was fine on silk, satin etc but as soon as I tried it on my cotton dresses, shirts etc hardly any of the wrinkles came out. I’ve previously owned an affordable stand up steamer and it was wonderful at getting wrinkles out of everything so I know what a good steamer should do. This is my first steamer, so I’m not sure how it compares to others, but seems to work pretty well. Like others, it didn’t work at first. But in the instructions, it says you may have to “prime” it on the first use—doesn’t say how to do that—and it may make some clicks and stuff when you do that. Since it wasn’t making any noise or releasing any steam, I gave it a pretty good shake, and it started making all sorts of noises and then spit out steam in about 5 seconds. Bought this to replace a 1200 watt unit that sits on the floor with a stand to hang clothes on.. Handling is easy, generates a good amount of steam and like others have mentioned, if you have a small funnel, its not hard to fill even when the gallon of distilled water is full. Clip on the top does make steaming a crease into slacks easy. The negatives….. Not having somewhere to hang clothes from that is easily accessible. OK, not the fault of the steamer, but you need somewhere you can hang clothes from that gives you the ability to the steam where you need it. Only other complaint is the size of the water tank. At full steam output, it needs to be refilled after steaming 1 shirt. On lowest setting am able to steam at least 3 shirts before needing to refill. The Hover PowerDash GO Pet + Spot Cleaner is a handy tool for easy pet mess cleanups. It is compact and stores nicely. It is great for spot cleaning like the name implies, it's even good for larger jobs if it is all that you have. The cord is a bit short, but again great for small jobs. Upholstery cleaning is a chore I don't enjoy so don't do often, I was amazed at the amount of yuck it removed from my ottoman, and pleased with the fresh scent it left behind. The included instructions could have been more informative but I managed to figure things out. The attachments are easy to install, remove, and clean. The hose is not easily removable, you have to unscrew a part from the bottom of the unit to get it off. I wanted to rinse it out before storing but it felt like too much work. The dirty tank holds quite a bit and is super easy to clean when you're done. It seams to leave a lot of moisture behind and I had to turn the suction off to scrub. My ottoman is puffy and soft so it was hard to get a good clean without the solution getting sucked out. I have an elderly dog and have been hand scrubbing pee spots for quite a while, I thought I was doing a good job but I was so wrong. This spot cleaner really gets the mess out and leaves your carpet fresh. I would definitely recomend the Hoover Power Dash GO Pet + Spot Cleaner to anyone with pet messes, it really does a great job. First off this works great for cleaning up small messes and stains before they set. It is not a carpet cleaner which is what most complaints I have read talk about. This Spot cleaner does exactly what it says. We have been using this spot cleaner for about a month and have had no complaints. It has strong suction and the pet scrubber it comes with works great when dealing with both messes from our kids and from our pets. We have 3 kids 2 cats and a dog. The one reservation I had when I first got this my biggest concern was the lack of a fresh water reservoir. I soon found that for a majority of messes it is not needed. The carpet cleaning formula that came with it does a great job of releasing the stains and smells. I have cleaned up pet and kid urine, vomit, and spilled drinks. A couple of times I have needed some fresh water but all I did was take a cup of hot water to soak the spot with. The Hoover spot cleaner has a large dirty water reservoir and handle this just fine. Another thing I have really liked about using this cleaner is the spots dry much faster as there is much less liquid used in the cleanup. We keep this primarily in the car which works great as it is small in size and can run off our power inverter really well. They really did a great job with this one. It is very sturdy and well built and everything comes apart to clean. The biggest problem I have had in the past is not being able to open the dirty water compartment up completely to clean. It ends up stinking and growing things. With this one the top opens completely and I just put it in the dishwasher. The scrubbing and sucking head comes apart as well. The only thing I would like is to be able to lock the button and not have to depress it while using the hose…especially in hard to reach areas like my oven and the whole device has to be held upright so it's a balancing act. This steam cleaner makes kitchen cleaning easier and less toxic. Greasy build up loosens and becomes wipeable without using harsh degreasers and lots of scrubbing. My skin and lungs appreciate it! This steamer has performed absolutely perfect. You can definitely tell that it is made eout of quality materials and the steam that it gives off is very strong and always conistent. It heats up within roughly 30 seconds of plugging in, every single time. The resorvoir on the back is a great size to be able to keep the item small enough to be handheld, but it also lasts for quite some time. You can definitely get a lot of your clothes done before having to refill. Another great thing that I have found with this device is that you can also use it to disinfect items such as your couch or bed. The head of the steamer is adjustable, so it makes it much easier to cover the cracks and corners and such of surfaces. I have used it for many things; shoes, hats, and winter gloves/toboggans are great too. It has been really useful, especially during this time of year when the Covid virus is still circulating and the fllu is at its highest. I have really enjoyed and gotten use out of this product and would definitely recommend it for anyone that likes to make sure that they aren't carrying around any sicknesses or to clean things that you normally couldn't. It also has a plug-in piece that ensures you can use it worldwide no matter where you are! It even came with travel hangers to take with you on your trip. This seems to be marketed towards travel, with the dual voltage and smaller, lightweight size, but to be honest it's pretty great if you don't want to deal with a larger handheld steamer as well. It tucks into a drawer nice and easy. It heats up quickly and emits a healthy amount of steam so you don't waste time. The reservoir is smaller, yes, but in reality you probably don't need to steam that many items of clothing while travelling. I decided to try a steamer as I'm not a fan of ironing and I was really surprised how good this steamer works. It is dual voltage and it will work in a lot of countries thanks to a switch at the bottom of the steamer. It's ready to go quick and unwrinkles clothes pretty fast.
