Was happy to receive the Shark WV410 Wandvac Power Pet Cordless Hand vacuum as I had areas that I knew it would come in real handy for. It weighs just about 1.5 pounds so was easy on my arm and hand. Upon opening the box it was very simple to put together – basically all in just a couple of minutes. Included is a charging dock, handheld vacuum wand, onboard accessory storage attachment (which you need to slip on the back of wand for stability), a duster crevice tool and a pet tool. The 2 attachments simply sit in their proper places on the storage attachment and it's set up, ready to go. I ran the power cord through the bottom as there is a groove that keeps it in place. I then plugged it in and charged about 4 hours. You can leave this vacuum plugged in continuously so its always charged and ready to use without harming the battery life. There is a round white power button on the wand in front that slowly blinks until its fully charged then turns solid. The on and off switch button is on the handle and a Boost button below that for the Deep Clean mode. When using the Deep Clean mode I found the battery remained charged about 14 minutes, so for longer usage I found the normal Eco mode works perfectly with plenty of adequate suction and has about 1/2 hour run time. I used this to actually dust my house – on tables and other pieces of furniture, picture frames, etc. Especially worked wonders on my carpeted basement steps! No more dragging my heavy corded vacuum around to accomplish that task! It picked up crumbs and other little items of dry cat food without a hitch. You can see when the dust cup is full and ready to be emptied. So after use you will need to empty the dust cup by depressing a yellow switch and holding it over a trash can. I suggest wiping out the cup with a dry cloth to help keep it cleaner inside. When the included filter needs cleaning you have to remove the dust cup and pinching both sides of filter you pivot upward to access it. Place over a trash can and there is a metal ring on top of the filter to help remove from the housing. Just tap it lightly to remove dirt and rinse with water only. Be sure to let the filter air-dry for at least 24 hours or completely dry before reinstalling. I have had no blockage issues whatsoever with mine but if you do notice a noise change while vacuuming check for blockages or objects that might be caught in the vacuum. There are instructions in the owner's manual for this. The manual also has an excellent Troubleshooting section which is most helpful if you need it. Shark made this vacuum so easy to use and future fix so keep that manual just in case! There are other available accessories you can purchase. However for this particular model it seems to be just the wide upholstery tool and a replacement battery. The tools that came with mine are sufficient and overall I am very pleased with its performance. It's not the quietest hand vacuum around but it sure does a great job of picking up things I need it to. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this very useful small household vacuum and love the fact its cordless. The Sharp Wandvac WV410 is the 2nd iteration of the portable handheld vacuum that has been quite popular. This new version has a lot of improvements over the older one and makes it a more versatile compact unit. The first thing I noticed when I got this vacuum is how light, small, and consequently ergonomic the design is. Like all shark vacuums, the build quality is superb even though the whole unit is made with plastic. The material is sturdy and seemed to withstand the regular rough handling when trying to vacuum some weird crevice. I never felt it’ll get damaged, which is not the case with a lot of these handheld vacuums. The unit comes with 2 attachments, however there’s no powered attachment. A charging base, which also acts like an attachment holder, is included and importantly has a small footprint. This helped me to set it up in a convenient location, and made sure the unit is getting charged after stow. Another good feature which I found quite significant is the use of detachable battery. Thus if the battery fails after it’s charge cycle has been used up, I don’t need to throw away the vacuum. Also if I need to use it more frequently, I can get a second battery (and charger) to swap on the job. I really love this feature. In terms of performance, I never thought this will replace my larger, corded units – you can only do so much with a small cordless unit – but I’m definitely impressed. Being a pet owner, I am constantly cleaning up dog hair and scattered food stuff all over the house, and for that purpose this has been working perfectly. The unit storage for dust and debri is small due to the form factor, but the hinge design for dumping these made it a breeze, and moreover it’s almost a no-touch solution. Thus, it’s quite easy to clean which again is something I miss in some of my other handheld vacuums. The vacuum is not the noisient out there, and the suction power is not extraordinary, but for the size and useability they are more than adequate. Overall I’m quite impressed what Shark is delivering with the WV401 and I’m using it practically everyday. Without going overboard with features and design, the Wandvac provides provides the one thing I look for in a handheld vacuum – ease of use. There is a simplicity to this little vacuum that I really appreciate. It has two buttons, one for power, and the other a toggle for boost mode. Last it has a latch for unlocking the dust trap on the underside to dump out the contents it picked up. There are two included attachments, one for a wider area with a brush at the end, and the other is an extension of the end of the vacuum with a flip up brush at its tip. The two extra parts have little mounting points on the charging station that the handheld drops into for storage and charging, and once you find a suitable place for it all it is very compact and unassuming. The vacuum itself is shockingly lightweight yet very powerful for its size. It is well balanced making it easy to hold and maneuver into tight spaces. That is the strong point for it is tight spaces like in your car or corners of stairs or furniture. Being so small it does not have much room to store the debris so you either must plan on emptying it often or using it sparingly for the small areas a larger vacuum could not easily get to. I have been able to get it around and under the seats of my vehicles and use it regularly for cleaning up the nooks of my stairs where my dogs leave hair all the time. It is so easy to grab off the dock and get to work that it makes me feel more inclined to do so for even the smallest and quickest messes. I store it right next to my larger stick vacuum so it’s easy for me to get to and keeps everything of similar jobs in the same place. Battery life is great I typically have to empty the reservoir many times long before being at risk of running out of battery life. And when I am done just drop it back onto the dock so it's always ready to go. With the wide head attachment, it works great for clearing couches and other furniture of dog hair, and the smaller attachment gets into the small spaces like my stairs. It is also very quiet especially considering its suction power. I am very impressed with how well it works and how easy it is to use. This product marketed as "Pet Pro+" is poorly designed. From the first use, dog hair gets stuck behind the debris rollers inside the dust cup. It's not simply a matter of pressing the release button to dispose the hair & dust. You have to dig behind to get everything out after each use. It's really inconvenient, dirty, and time-consuming. I purchased it to upgrade my Bissell Pet Hair Eraser, but am relieved I kept that old Bissell which I still use instead. Unfortunately I lost the BBB receipt but kept the Shark box flap with product information. See picture of that + problem. Please can you send me a better replacement?BBB Customer
Does an adequate job. This vacuum does not move a lot of air, but the attachment openings are small, which mostly offsets the low flow volume. As a result, this vacuum is not a good choice for weighty detritus – it just doesn't have the suction or air speed to pick up heavier materials. The smaller attachments cover very little surface area, so it's not a good choice for big spills, either. It does great on pet hair & dander, cat litter, dust & other lightweight materials though. The new Pet Power Brush attachment is a definite improvement over previous revisions. You're not required to clean the brush after every use to released trapped hair. The Power Brush is powered by the vacuum's internal battery, so using it will consume more battery, but I've yet to have an issue with the battery running out, even during extended use. The quick release bagless design is an improvement over older models that required filter bags, though the compartment is quite small. Once again, this vaccum is not intended for large areas or large volumn jobs. My only real complaint is the location of the power button. During normal use, that is where my index finger prefers to rest for stablization while reaching with the vacuum. I'll turn it off 20 times during a small job. I'm sure the power switch will wear out long before any other component, at least for me.HBailey
I wanted a handheld and cordless vacuum for sucking up small messes (hair in the bathroom, dirt tracked in by my dog, small stuff I see on the floor in between regular vacuum and mopping). I was a little worried that the battery life wouldn’t be long but I was wrong. The battery lasts a long time!! I have spot cleaned around the house 3 times on a single charge. I plan on removing this from the charger rather than leaving it charging all the time in order to preserve the battery life. The suction for a small vacuum is amazing. I decided on this vacuum because a family member owns the regular, green model and after using it at their home, I felt it would be right for me. First, the positive: Initially, this was a great purchase. Powerful and lasts for long enough for most jobs, and that's still the case after 3 years. Now the negative: Since about 6 months ago, when starting use after it's been on charge for easily sufficient time to fully charge, it cuts out within about 20 seconds, plug it in for 30 seconds, it works for 20 seconds, plug it in for 30 seconds, it works for 20 seconds, plug in again and it then usually works for some 6 minutes on full power. This is simply a defective unit as the battery is clearly still holding the charge. Wouldn't rush to buy a Dyson again.RobS53
We had a precious model DC34 which served us well until the motor died. We also have a V10 and a Miele plug in for the bigger jobs, and wanted to replace the hand held This gets regular light use .Despite emptying after every use and washing the filter it started pulsing.My wife and I have just spent a quite few hours cleaning the machine.the filter was totally clogged inside and more importantly the interior, inside the shiny perforated cylindrical right up to the cyclones was full of debris /clogged . Bought this to do small pickups after a sweep of the floor, and to clean the car. It's proven handy when doing a bit of DIY around the house, where you can immediately pickup any small debris left from drilling etc. For very quick jobs it's good, but the "standard" power mode is a bit of a joke as it can barely pick up dust let-alone bigger objects like spilled cereal and a bit of dirt. Max power has some decent suction and, with the motorised tool, makes short work of cleaning rugs and carpets, but this only last for around 6 minutes, so again is only good for quick jobs. Like other reviewers, I also had the intermittent power issue, but after following the support video step by step, it started working again – I had cleaned everything else before following the steps, but didn't know about the easy to remove and clean filter. Generally, I find it quite easy to clean and put back together, actually much easier than the dyson cylinder vac (where I have to pull the bin apart to get out the hair). I am a bit torn on this machine, I do like a dyson, and I end up using the handheld on average twice a day, but it could just be a bit better. Given that it is a similar price to the cylinder vac, I was expecting a bit more. A killer feature would be the ability to run it while plugged in – I know this defeats the purpose of the "cordless" handheld, but running out of power when you only have a couple of minutes to go is quite infuriating. I have owned house rabbits for over 20 years. They shed a lot, they hop on furniture and shed on that. They eat hay. Hay particles get tracked around. I have runners down to avoid carpet eating and runners on slippery floors that my current rabbit won't walk on. I don't usually review things, but when something really works as advertised, I feel others should know. Bought this a few weeks back to remove cat hair from the quilt on our bed. Lint rollers were just not doing it. Went down the rabbit hole of online research and landed on this being the best option. So far, so good. Does a thorough job of de-hairing our sleep space. Good buy, feel confident if you purchase one for yourself.
Bought this when we were trying to find a litter substrate everyone agreed on- my little guise STILL hold litter in their forepaws and distribute it through my apartment. This hand vac, and it's attachments, quickly became the only vacuum in my studio. we've moved to a much larger apartment and this is still the only vacuum we need- a pass or two over our couch takes ALL of the cat hair. It also pulls the sisal thread out of the carpeted cat tree on a single sweep! Storing this thing, though. I'm here to see if theres an official wall mount. (I can't find it, if there is one.) I tend to leave the narrow tube attached to it; i need that one the most. Even without it, its too long for every drawer and cabinet I have; its current home is under the low coffeetable my TV is on. As such, its kicked sometimes. This thing does not care. I'm glad that the dust bucket is so well connected, and so thick that it resists cracks. My only gripe is truly that this needs some sort of dock to hold or sort the accessories, keep the cable somewhere memorable, and hold the vaccuum somewhere easily accessible.

This lives in my kitchen and helps me several times a day for quick pick-ups from spilled sugar to cleaning the produce drawer in the fridge, to cleaning the oven ( loosen debris with a razor blade first)! I've been decently happy with this stick vacuum. It was originally a gift that was returned to me. I happily started using it as a secondary stick vacuum. It works well although I'm not impressed with its operating time, but will make do. The stick accessory leaves much to the imagination; more awkward than anything. Recently, the plastic connector clip between the metal tubes broke (photos on the website are misleading; photos make it appear as one when it's actually two) and I can no longer use it as such. Its very powerful but does have a high pitch noise, which is anonoying. They come in a really nice box. Mounting on the wall is a plus. It looks very good, I call it classicy sporty. It is pricey. Does come with exchangeable battery so that is nice but the design of the handle is sooooo long. That handle needs to be chopped off by 2 inches. Works very good, I just wish they have white extension floor package instead of black. Overall 4 out of 5. I really light the design and the power, more power then the shark or black and decker.

I have bought now bought four of these first-rate rechargeable hand-helds, two for myself and two others as gifts. Thes are hands-down the most powerful and versatile portable vacuums I've ever had, and I've had many over the years. The suction is excellent, the filter is washable (I now keep a few spares), and this is perfect for tiny spot-cleaning jobs (like shelf corners in the panty), thorough car and household upholstery "sweeps," cleaning equipment and keyboards — well, just plain everything. This is the absolute best handheld vacuum I have used. You really do get 15 minutes of cleaning time from the battery. The ease of emptying, and removing the filter is the best of all competitors. I have peace of mind, that Bissell will be able to provide filters and parts…since I can order them direct from the manufacturer. Unlike buying vacuums in big box stores, who never have the filters or parts in stock. The motorized head is what sets this handheld apart from all others. It cleans area rugs easily, since it does not suck the entire rug from the floor. The motorized head is easy to take apart for cleaning, and is well designed. I cannot say enough good things about this handheld vacuum and I highly recommend it.
The suction of this hand vacuum is FANTASTIC! The attachments work very well as well. My only complaint is that the run time is relatively short compared to the time needed to charge – I get anywhere from 15-30 minutes max on a full charge. I mostly use to vacuum furniture, stair carpet treads, and miscellaneous fur on the wood floors so not a big deal but if you need to do a lot more daily vacuuming with this you may be annoyed by the charge it holds. Review update dropping to 3 stars because the vacuum takes a long time to recharge and you’re lucky to get even 15 minutes. I still think the suction is fantastic.Allie

Decent vacuum overall. I bought the one with the pet attachment and unfortunately the attachment already broke. Needless to say it will be returned. The battery life is pretty weak. It’s definitely not as good as I was expecting. The filter seems to get quite full. I suppose that’s not a bad thing but it looks cheaply made. They actually recommend you replace every few months or depending on how much you use it. If the pet attachment didn’t break I would hang onto this but I have not even had it 2 weeks and it’s already falling apart. I thought the pet attachment worked good before it broke and the extended nose was nice for tight places and easier on the back.Brizzo

I received this product less than two months ago, and used it once or twice per week to clean cat hair off my couch and door mat. At first I was very pleased with how much dust and hair it picked up. But by 6 weeks in, the filter was so badly clogged that the vacuum barely picks anything up. I had been dutifully cleaning off the filters and knocking as much dirt out as possible in between every cleaning, even though the instructions say you don't need to do this very often. I'm just not willing to buy new filters every 6 weeks to keep this vacuum running. Right now, a lint brush is doing a better job in 10% of the time it would take to try to clean that couch.
We’ve had this hand vac for years (10?) and it always worked great for picking up pet hair, human hair, etc. It was especially useful on stairs that are hard to clean with larger vacs. Unfortunately, a small plastic part broke inside the clear part of the vacuum. At first, it continued to work, but then overheated so it is dead. My main objective for this was to get a corded version of a hand held compact device for use in my RV because I hate the limitations of battery operated devices, ironic as it is. This solves that problem, but has limited reach for tight spots. This could be remedied by designing a hose attachment with a crevice nozzle long enough to reach under small spaces, especially those in cars. I like the long cord, the power of it, and the rubber nozzle for pet hair. It is a bit noisy so wear ear plugs if you are sensitive. It also kicks up the dust and hair, so be prepared. It might be nice to see a version of this in both corded and battery so that there could be a versatile option for power. The filter is not easy to clean and gets filthy very quickly. I've cleaned mine about 10 times since I've owned it, and often tap out any loose dirt and use tweezers to clear out the heavier lint in the folds. It reminds me of an air filter I used to buy for my Toro lawn mower once a year. Buying new filters for this would be expensive, and it might be nice to see a cleanable filter. I guess that might cut into their bottom line, however, I'm not going to shell out money on expensive filters every week. The main design flaw is in the switch, which turns off when it hits objects as its being used in tight places. Upon cleaning my car, I kept hitting the handle on certain areas and had to keep turning it back on. Put the switch on the back. The shape is gimmicky, and the handle seems a bit in the way and could have been more streamlined. Overall, its a good product, but not perfect. Was happy to receive the Shark WV410 Wandvac Power Pet Cordless Hand vacuum as I had areas that I knew it would come in real handy for. It weighs just about 1.5 pounds so was easy on my arm and hand. Upon opening the box it was very simple to put together – basically all in just a couple of minutes. Included is a charging dock, handheld vacuum wand, onboard accessory storage attachment (which you need to slip on the back of wand for stability), a duster crevice tool and a pet tool. The 2 attachments simply sit in their proper places on the storage attachment and it's set up, ready to go. I ran the power cord through the bottom as there is a groove that keeps it in place. I then plugged it in and charged about 4 hours. You can leave this vacuum plugged in continuously so its always charged and ready to use without harming the battery life. There is a round white power button on the wand in front that slowly blinks until its fully charged then turns solid. The on and off switch button is on the handle and a Boost button below that for the Deep Clean mode. When using the Deep Clean mode I found the battery remained charged about 14 minutes, so for longer usage I found the normal Eco mode works perfectly with plenty of adequate suction and has about 1/2 hour run time. I used this to actually dust my house – on tables and other pieces of furniture, picture frames, etc. Especially worked wonders on my carpeted basement steps! No more dragging my heavy corded vacuum around to accomplish that task! It picked up crumbs and other little items of dry cat food without a hitch. You can see when the dust cup is full and ready to be emptied. So after use you will need to empty the dust cup by depressing a yellow switch and holding it over a trash can. I suggest wiping out the cup with a dry cloth to help keep it cleaner inside. When the included filter needs cleaning you have to remove the dust cup and pinching both sides of filter you pivot upward to access it. Place over a trash can and there is a metal ring on top of the filter to help remove from the housing. Just tap it lightly to remove dirt and rinse with water only. Be sure to let the filter air-dry for at least 24 hours or completely dry before reinstalling. I have had no blockage issues whatsoever with mine but if you do notice a noise change while vacuuming check for blockages or objects that might be caught in the vacuum. There are instructions in the owner's manual for this. The manual also has an excellent Troubleshooting section which is most helpful if you need it. Shark made this vacuum so easy to use and future fix so keep that manual just in case! There are other available accessories you can purchase. However for this particular model it seems to be just the wide upholstery tool and a replacement battery. The tools that came with mine are sufficient and overall I am very pleased with its performance. It's not the quietest hand vacuum around but it sure does a great job of picking up things I need it to. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this very useful small household vacuum and love the fact its cordless. The Sharp Wandvac WV410 is the 2nd iteration of the portable handheld vacuum that has been quite popular. This new version has a lot of improvements over the older one and makes it a more versatile compact unit. The first thing I noticed when I got this vacuum is how light, small, and consequently ergonomic the design is. Like all shark vacuums, the build quality is superb even though the whole unit is made with plastic. The material is sturdy and seemed to withstand the regular rough handling when trying to vacuum some weird crevice. I never felt it’ll get damaged, which is not the case with a lot of these handheld vacuums. The unit comes with 2 attachments, however there’s no powered attachment. A charging base, which also acts like an attachment holder, is included and importantly has a small footprint. This helped me to set it up in a convenient location, and made sure the unit is getting charged after stow. Another good feature which I found quite significant is the use of detachable battery. Thus if the battery fails after it’s charge cycle has been used up, I don’t need to throw away the vacuum. Also if I need to use it more frequently, I can get a second battery (and charger) to swap on the job. I really love this feature. In terms of performance, I never thought this will replace my larger, corded units – you can only do so much with a small cordless unit – but I’m definitely impressed. Being a pet owner, I am constantly cleaning up dog hair and scattered food stuff all over the house, and for that purpose this has been working perfectly. The unit storage for dust and debri is small due to the form factor, but the hinge design for dumping these made it a breeze, and moreover it’s almost a no-touch solution. Thus, it’s quite easy to clean which again is something I miss in some of my other handheld vacuums. The vacuum is not the noisient out there, and the suction power is not extraordinary, but for the size and useability they are more than adequate. Overall I’m quite impressed what Shark is delivering with the WV401 and I’m using it practically everyday. There is a simplicity to this little vacuum that I really appreciate. It has two buttons, one for power, and the other a toggle for boost mode. Last it has a latch for unlocking the dust trap on the underside to dump out the contents it picked up. There are two included attachments, one for a wider area with a brush at the end, and the other is an extension of the end of the vacuum with a flip up brush at its tip. The two extra parts have little mounting points on the charging station that the handheld drops into for storage and charging, and once you find a suitable place for it all it is very compact and unassuming. The vacuum itself is shockingly lightweight yet very powerful for its size. It is well balanced making it easy to hold and maneuver into tight spaces. That is the strong point for it is tight spaces like in your car or corners of stairs or furniture. Being so small it does not have much room to store the debris so you either must plan on emptying it often or using it sparingly for the small areas a larger vacuum could not easily get to. I have been able to get it around and under the seats of my vehicles and use it regularly for cleaning up the nooks of my stairs where my dogs leave hair all the time. It is so easy to grab off the dock and get to work that it makes me feel more inclined to do so for even the smallest and quickest messes. I store it right next to my larger stick vacuum so it’s easy for me to get to and keeps everything of similar jobs in the same place. Battery life is great I typically have to empty the reservoir many times long before being at risk of running out of battery life. And when I am done just drop it back onto the dock so it's always ready to go. With the wide head attachment, it works great for clearing couches and other furniture of dog hair, and the smaller attachment gets into the small spaces like my stairs. It is also very quiet especially considering its suction power. I am very impressed with how well it works and how easy it is to use. I've been decently happy with this stick vacuum. It was originally a gift that was returned to me. I happily started using it as a secondary stick vacuum. It works well although I'm not impressed with its operating time, but will make do. The stick accessory leaves much to the imagination; more awkward than anything. Recently, the plastic connector clip between the metal tubes broke (photos on the website are misleading; photos make it appear as one when it's actually two) and I can no longer use it as such. Bought this when we were trying to find a litter substrate everyone agreed on- my little guise STILL hold litter in their forepaws and distribute it through my apartment. This hand vac, and it's attachments, quickly became the only vacuum in my studio. we've moved to a much larger apartment and this is still the only vacuum we need- a pass or two over our couch takes ALL of the cat hair. It also pulls the sisal thread out of the carpeted cat tree on a single sweep! Storing this thing, though. I'm here to see if theres an official wall mount. (I can't find it, if there is one.) I tend to leave the narrow tube attached to it; i need that one the most. Even without it, its too long for every drawer and cabinet I have; its current home is under the low coffeetable my TV is on. As such, its kicked sometimes. This thing does not care. I'm glad that the dust bucket is so well connected, and so thick that it resists cracks. My only gripe is truly that this needs some sort of dock to hold or sort the accessories, keep the cable somewhere memorable, and hold the vaccuum somewhere easily accessible.
A wet-dry handheld vacuum I've had for a LONG time finally decided to not work. I searching for a new handheld I came across the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser® Lithium Ion Cordless Pet Hand Vacuum. Upon reading the various reviews, I decided to give this vacuum a try and man I am glad I did. The powered brush head and good suction works great on our furniture to remove the cat hair from our two long-haired cats, Bella and Sassy Cat. I find the powered roller brush easy to clean. The included attachment fitment into the dust cup is firm, which gives me confidence in the ability for the attachment to stay in place during use. I ordered this vacuum for myself 3 years ago and recently purchased another for a house warming gift. I use this pretty much for every cleaning job. Clean up kitchen, my bathrooms, car, hard to reach surfaces in my house and garage. It has had its fare share of rough handling but my goodness.. it had never disappointed me. The battery still charges up pretty good with decent amount of backup. The overall quality is pretty rugged but still its portable enough to be used by anyone. Since we use it much every day, it stay on continuous charging – discharging cycle. I feel like it has already paid its worth. This is one of those items that you don't realize how much you need it until you buy it. Very poorly designed and engineered–my first disappointment with a Black and Decker product. No simple plug-in interface for charging; instead it must sit upright on a plastic charging saucer that takes up space and is unsteady as you try to lower the vacuum onto its charging contacts. Even when you manage to get the vacuum into position, the vacuum sometimes wobbles over and falls off the saucer. In order to store the vacuum while charging, you must put it on this saucer rather than lay it on its side, which is the easier way to put it down and charge it by simply inserting a connecting power cord. Just arrived and I've only used it once so far, but the suction in the 16V product is so MUCH more powerful than I anticipated – I'm glad I didn't order the 20V version. It charged quickly. I forgot to time how long it lasted, but I got everything done that I wanted to. The blower is out the back instead of the side like my previous handheld which blew the dirt away before you could suck it up. It's also louder than my old one, but seems to have double the suction power, so it's a good trade-off. We have 3 cats and a dog and this handheld got all the hair with no problem. Cleaning was a breeze. my only recommendation would be to offer additional filters at the time of purchase, just for the convenience of having one at the ready (for whenever). Terribly designed charger. The vacuum cleaner perches vertically on it. It rocks. It can fall over and crash at the slightest touch. It can break in the fall or be dangerous. This is "cheap" at its utmost. The wall hanger was missing altogether, but from the diagrams it is hard see if the cleaner can be charging while it hangs. Probably not, so what's the point? I love the suction power of this little hoover. It's so handy in my job as a childminder to quickly pick up crumbs. The jobs it makes so simple are pvc door frames at the bottom where dirt gets trapped or the cutlery drawer. Using the brush attachment on those jobs cuts the time it takes to complete the tasks. I have to give a mention to Eufy customer support who replaced my hoover after the rubber nozzle stopper was lost. It is a bit of a design fault and renders the hoover useless when it goes missing. Now my whole household are aware of the part we can take care when emptying the dustbin. The exchange was very quick and dealt with efficiently & friendly. Really pleased.
Good little vacuum. Suction isn't great, don't expect it to be anywhere near other cordless levels but it's good for the odd cleanup around the room. Sometimes can have trouble picking up things it's directly pointed at, closer approach to the floor is needed. Filter is good, a little too good because it clogs up with dust frequently. Regular cleaning / emptying required in order to maintain the already limited suction power. Battery was excellent out the box. Now about a month later I can see it depletes within 10 minutes or so. Charging with micro USB is a plus and 2/3 charge bar level can do a decent sized room comfortably. Overall good product; it's lightweight, off button can annoyingly be accidentally hit but no big deal, easy to clean reusable filters are a bonus, brush extension is good but with the extra length you can noticeably tell power is being lost. Nothing that will rival the big boys like Dyson and Shark but it's reflected in the price, great for cars or general dusting in hard to reach places with conventional vacuum tubes. You could look at the lack of suction as a positive; it won't grab objects, instead gently removes the dust. I'd recommend but buying at around £25.
According to the marketing materials and the product manual the filters are washable. The joke is that you can't separate the outside pre-filter from the inside filter as shown in the product manual or the marketing material. The outer filter is supposed to twist on and off (contrary to the manual, page 10, that shows it coming straight off) but it was so tight that I indented and almost broke out the fine mesh of the outer screen in the process. The reassembly process and the small icon on the filter show it twisting on and off. Even so, I had to use a pocket knife to get it loose enough to remove. I have no idea how a person with weak hands could accomplish this. Just another case of a techy designer using a CAD system and never testing it outside of the computer geek world, shoving it into production and screwing the consumer in the process. I won't buy another one.

Thanks to the Black and Decker Product Testing Program, I received this Black and Decker Dustbuster, complimentary, in exchange for my honest review. The following opinions are 100% authentic and my own. I was super excited to be chosen to try out my first Black and Decker product. When my Dustbuster arrived, it was a bit smaller than I had imagined, which wasn't necessarily a bad or good thing, I just noted it. The suction seemed strong at first, when powered on, just the warm air it was blowing out seemed incredibly powerful for such a small handheld vacuum. Unfortunately, that's where the excitement ends. The suction is seemingly strange and I completely understand this isn't a big and mighty vacuum, but when I say it's strange it's almost as if the actual suction only exists in a certain portion or area of the mouth of the vacuum, as opposed to suction coming from the entire mouth. If I have a crumb, and I want it cleaned up, I must pinpoint this certain area over the crumb, as opposed to simply running the entire mouth over the general area of the crumb. It's tiresome and a bit annoying that I can't just simply swipe the vacuum over the area like most would generally do when vacuuming. It requires more effort than it should. I’ve been using this dustbuster everyday for a few weeks now. I am so happy with this product! This dustbuster has a very long lasting battery life, great suction, easy to empty and is light weight. I use it to clean around my cats litter box, in my car, and for small messes in the kitchen. It works like a charm! If I was to change one thing about this product I would put a lock feature on the button. I have gotten used to pressing the button and it no longer bothers me but see how it could be burdensome for others especially if they have arthritis. I was honestly expecting this to be better than it is. It does pick up some stuff but not like I had hoped for. The suction power is average, just wish it was better and picked everything up. I will say it does charge fast and holds quite a bit. Also it has a magnetic brush head, you can flip up to use or down to not. If this had better suction power it would be awesome. I also want to mention this comes with the piece that you can hang this on the wall which I do like. Honestly, I'd go with another model, maybe a newer one over this one. This cordless has held it's charge for longer than expected. I used it off and on for miscellaneous cleaning two days in a row. I then thought I'd place it back on the charger, not because it was necessary, but I didn't want to be without it. The one disadvantage is that it has a reusable/ cleanable filter. This little hand vacuum is my favorite thing, I had a older one different model same brand and I thought I loved it but this one is far more superior, my husband tried to swipe it for his garage and I told him I don’t think so mister! I love that it is a 16V and has two power settings, it is sleek looking, the suction neck extends a good amount and the the way it is designed is perfect for getting into tough spaces and against walls and into cracks. You can wash the filter out which is super nice and it keeps a charge for quite a while but also has and indicator to tell you when the battery is running low. My only complaint is that you have to be careful when putting it back in it’s charging dock as the release button can accidentally get pushed and all your dirt falls out but this only happened to me once when I was hurriedly putting it back on the dock, so it is avoidable. Also this model blows from its side and not the back which is an awesome feature for this little vac because the ones that blow from the back and be tricky and blow your dirt around and I don’t have that problem with this hand vac and that makes me happy. This dustbuster is one strong vacuum and it’s perfect for the home and especially the car. It has an extendable crevice tool that makes it so easy to get in right spots. Especially between the seat and frame of the car or in between the cushions in my couch. This device has a great design. First it’s lightweight and has a see through window that allows you to see all the dirt and know when it’s time to empty. To empty, it’s so easy. Just a simple push of one button and that lid pops open. There’s also a filter inside. You don’t need to replace it, just give it a good cleaning. These two pieces comes apart very easy. I also like the look of the dustbuster. It’s got a sleek look and i got to say it’s attractive. It also comes with a charging dock and screws are even provided so you can mount the dock. The Black & Decker 16V Advanced Clean Dustbuster has the most powerful suction that I have ever experienced with a hand held vacuum. I decided to try out the Dustbuster on three different cleaner opportunities. The first opportunity was removing cat hair from my curtains. I have a cat that climbs into a window seat everyday, she rubs against the curtains as she opens them leaving behind an excessive amount of cat hair. Because the curtains are delicate, I am not able to use a regular vacuum cleaner on them. The Advanced Cleaner Dustbuster has two settings making the lower setting delicate enough to use on the curtains but powerful enough to remove the cat hair. Next, I decided to try out the Dustbuster on my car. The extended crevice tool was phenomenal reaching places that commercial car vacuums are not able to reach. The skinny mouth of the extended crevice tool was able to reach tight places and pick up cheerios that we had been trying to remove for over a year. The power of the Advanced Clean Dustbuster was far superior than any other vacuum I have used in my vehicle. Lastly, our house is under construction. We are removing old carpet, carpet pad, carpet glue, ceramic tile and grout while replacing it with vinyl floors. There was a lot of fine debris that was left behind from sweeping the floors. The Dustbuster was able to suck up those fine particles with out any hesitation. In addition to the superior suction, the battery life on the Dustbuster lasted three 9 hour days of continuous usage before needing to be charged. So in the end, I am extremely happy with the Advanced Clean Dustbuster. Emptying it is so simple, you do not have to touch any of the debris that has been sucked up. I use this everyday as part of my bedtime routine. I have a cat and dog and I have ocd when it comes to clean sheets. I take this and it quickly sucks up all the hair, dirt from paws and everything else. I use it to vacuum my desk chair everything. It has powerful suction. I dont even use the brush attachment because it can pull the pet hair right out. I use it on high power so it doesnt last as long but I dont need it to. It charges super fast. Was happy to receive the Shark WV410 Wandvac Power Pet Cordless Hand vacuum as I had areas that I knew it would come in real handy for. It weighs just about 1.5 pounds so was easy on my arm and hand. Upon opening the box it was very simple to put together – basically all in just a couple of minutes. Included is a charging dock, handheld vacuum wand, onboard accessory storage attachment (which you need to slip on the back of wand for stability), a duster crevice tool and a pet tool. The 2 attachments simply sit in their proper places on the storage attachment and it's set up, ready to go. I ran the power cord through the bottom as there is a groove that keeps it in place. I then plugged it in and charged about 4 hours. You can leave this vacuum plugged in continuously so its always charged and ready to use without harming the battery life. There is a round white power button on the wand in front that slowly blinks until its fully charged then turns solid. The on and off switch button is on the handle and a Boost button below that for the Deep Clean mode. When using the Deep Clean mode I found the battery remained charged about 14 minutes, so for longer usage I found the normal Eco mode works perfectly with plenty of adequate suction and has about 1/2 hour run time. I used this to actually dust my house – on tables and other pieces of furniture, picture frames, etc. Especially worked wonders on my carpeted basement steps! No more dragging my heavy corded vacuum around to accomplish that task! It picked up crumbs and other little items of dry cat food without a hitch. You can see when the dust cup is full and ready to be emptied. So after use you will need to empty the dust cup by depressing a yellow switch and holding it over a trash can. I suggest wiping out the cup with a dry cloth to help keep it cleaner inside. When the included filter needs cleaning you have to remove the dust cup and pinching both sides of filter you pivot upward to access it. Place over a trash can and there is a metal ring on top of the filter to help remove from the housing. Just tap it lightly to remove dirt and rinse with water only. Be sure to let the filter air-dry for at least 24 hours or completely dry before reinstalling. I have had no blockage issues whatsoever with mine but if you do notice a noise change while vacuuming check for blockages or objects that might be caught in the vacuum. There are instructions in the owner's manual for this. The manual also has an excellent Troubleshooting section which is most helpful if you need it. Shark made this vacuum so easy to use and future fix so keep that manual just in case! There are other available accessories you can purchase. However for this particular model it seems to be just the wide upholstery tool and a replacement battery. The tools that came with mine are sufficient and overall I am very pleased with its performance. It's not the quietest hand vacuum around but it sure does a great job of picking up things I need it to. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this very useful small household vacuum and love the fact its cordless. The Sharp Wandvac WV410 is the 2nd iteration of the portable handheld vacuum that has been quite popular. This new version has a lot of improvements over the older one and makes it a more versatile compact unit. The first thing I noticed when I got this vacuum is how light, small, and consequently ergonomic the design is. Like all shark vacuums, the build quality is superb even though the whole unit is made with plastic. The material is sturdy and seemed to withstand the regular rough handling when trying to vacuum some weird crevice. I never felt it’ll get damaged, which is not the case with a lot of these handheld vacuums. The unit comes with 2 attachments, however there’s no powered attachment. A charging base, which also acts like an attachment holder, is included and importantly has a small footprint. This helped me to set it up in a convenient location, and made sure the unit is getting charged after stow. Another good feature which I found quite significant is the use of detachable battery. Thus if the battery fails after it’s charge cycle has been used up, I don’t need to throw away the vacuum. Also if I need to use it more frequently, I can get a second battery (and charger) to swap on the job. I really love this feature. In terms of performance, I never thought this will replace my larger, corded units – you can only do so much with a small cordless unit – but I’m definitely impressed. Being a pet owner, I am constantly cleaning up dog hair and scattered food stuff all over the house, and for that purpose this has been working perfectly. The unit storage for dust and debri is small due to the form factor, but the hinge design for dumping these made it a breeze, and moreover it’s almost a no-touch solution. Thus, it’s quite easy to clean which again is something I miss in some of my other handheld vacuums. The vacuum is not the noisient out there, and the suction power is not extraordinary, but for the size and useability they are more than adequate. Overall I’m quite impressed what Shark is delivering with the WV401 and I’m using it practically everyday. Without going overboard with features and design, the Wandvac provides provides the one thing I look for in a handheld vacuum – ease of use. There is a simplicity to this little vacuum that I really appreciate. It has two buttons, one for power, and the other a toggle for boost mode. Last it has a latch for unlocking the dust trap on the underside to dump out the contents it picked up. There are two included attachments, one for a wider area with a brush at the end, and the other is an extension of the end of the vacuum with a flip up brush at its tip. The two extra parts have little mounting points on the charging station that the handheld drops into for storage and charging, and once you find a suitable place for it all it is very compact and unassuming. The vacuum itself is shockingly lightweight yet very powerful for its size. It is well balanced making it easy to hold and maneuver into tight spaces. That is the strong point for it is tight spaces like in your car or corners of stairs or furniture. Being so small it does not have much room to store the debris so you either must plan on emptying it often or using it sparingly for the small areas a larger vacuum could not easily get to. I have been able to get it around and under the seats of my vehicles and use it regularly for cleaning up the nooks of my stairs where my dogs leave hair all the time. It is so easy to grab off the dock and get to work that it makes me feel more inclined to do so for even the smallest and quickest messes. I store it right next to my larger stick vacuum so it’s easy for me to get to and keeps everything of similar jobs in the same place. Battery life is great I typically have to empty the reservoir many times long before being at risk of running out of battery life. And when I am done just drop it back onto the dock so it's always ready to go. With the wide head attachment, it works great for clearing couches and other furniture of dog hair, and the smaller attachment gets into the small spaces like my stairs. It is also very quiet especially considering its suction power. I am very impressed with how well it works and how easy it is to use. For pet owners who need to get hair and dust out of all their corners or anyone who wants to be able to clean small spaces quickly and easily this is a must have and I highly recommend it.Josh

I have owned a couple of different hand-held vacs over the years, both with and without a cord. None of them have really had powerful suction or battery life, making it incredibly difficult to use them for spot cleaning. The cordless brand I owned previously didn’t seem to last past 5 minutes. Needless to say, I had resolved that I would never own another cordless vac due to their inherent lack of power and battery time – until I found this Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Cordless Hand Vac. What’s In the Box The Pet Hair Eraser Lithium Ion Cordless Hand Vac contains a 10.8V lithium ion battery and 3 interchangeable cleaning tools. The three tools included are the crevice tool, the motorized brush, and an upholstery tool. You can even extend the length of the upholstery tool by first inserting the crevice tool into the upholstery tool, and then attaching it to the base unit. This unit also comes with a charging cable and the filter has already been inserted into the vacuum base. Right out of the box, the hand-held vacuum already had a slight charge. However, the manual recommends charging the vacuum fully prior to using it. A Quick Note About Charging the Vacuum Note that this hand vac may need up to 8 hours to be fully charged. For some reason I didn’t read that initially, and after charging it for 4 hours, the red light was still blinking. I thought I had a defective unit or something! But no, the manual does state (right at the top!) that the unit should be charged completely which takes about 8 hours. Having been a long-time fan of Bissell products, I have to say that I am really impressed with this little hand vac. It’s small, but it’s mighty! The power of suction is outstanding, and although I didn’t fully charge the unit (against the recommendations!), I used it on a few separate occasions for about 10 minutes each and noticed no decrease in power. I try to keep the litter picked up around the litter box; otherwise the cats just continue to track it everywhere despite having one of those special rugs at the entrance of the litter box. Using the crevice tool, this little vacuum absolutely came in handy for picking up litter all around the box and the bathroom floor. We have a thick red rug under the bed in the second bedroom, so I vacuumed the perimeter using the motorized tool and it worked beautifully. While the tool with the flat head is deemed the “upholstery tool”, I think it also worked well to quickly vacuum the small bathroom floor. The hand vac using the crevice tool was also perfect for running along baseboards where pet hair, dust and dirt seems to collect daily, such as the downstairs entry way. I might add that emptying the dirt collection tank is a breeze. Simply press the button and remove the filter. It’s that simple. What Could Be Better I do wish that there was an indicator for how much battery life remains as I am a visual person. It would give me a feel for knowing when the battery needs to be recharged so I don’t get stuck in the middle of a cleaning event and cannot finish. I suspect that when I feel the power is reduced, either via sound or suction (or both), then I will know it is time to recharge the battery. I also wish that there was an indicator light for how much charging time remains when the unit is charging. I like to conserve energy and simply don’t want to leave it unattended to charge for hours on end. Final Thoughts I am truly blown away by this mighty, little hand-held Bissell vacuum. It is light and very well-balanced, so you can take the time you need to clean. The lithium-ion battery is rechargeable and makes this a powerful little unit. My husband mentioned that this is one of the most compact lithium ion batteries he has ever seen. I should also mention that many companies that design these little vacuums get the handle wrong. Too often the hand (no matter how small yours is!) either doesn’t fit well with the handle or there is nothing ergonomic about its shape, making your hand cramp and fatigue quickly. Not so with this Bissell. I literally vacuumed dust out of the jacuzzi, vacuumed litter from around the litter box and the surrounding floor and baseboards, vacuumed the perimeter of a large rug, and then vacuumed the floor of the second bathroom all in one shot! Overall, this is the best hand-held cordless vacuum I have ever owned, and I absolutely recommend it.
I adopted my two kitties last fall and with this heat they’ve been shedding a ton! My couch, carpet, stairs etc. we’re all covered in hair and honestly working up the strength to pull out our large heavy vacuum was low. So it just build up. I looked at a few videos online comparing hand held vacuums and this one seemed promising. Love how light it is, easy to clean and does a great job cleaning. Comes with few different attachments which are helpful. Surprisingly quiet and the air it blows out is cool (our other vacuum blows out hot air!). Only used it a few times but love it so faraila.c
I have a long-haired cat that gets his fur on everything. I just got a new sectional couch and I needed a handheld Vacuum that worked well. After looking around at different products and reading many reviews I settled on the Pet Hair Eraser. I seen a fair amount of complaints about battery life, but Since I only use this on my sectional and stairs on a nearly daily bases since I got it, I have not ran out of battery power in the middle of a clean. I just alternate the days I do each one. I have never used the item for more than 10 mins so I have yet to actually witness the battery power go low enough to stop working. Above all, it works pretty well at getting the pet hair off of the furniture and high traffic carpeting. It is fairly each to clean and comes with a couple of useful attachments. My main reason for buying this one is because of the rotating brush attachment. For a handheld that runs off battery, the suction is above expectation. The only tips I would give is to make sure to NOT leave it pulled it once it is charged up if you are not a nearly daily user of it. Supposedly leaving it connected to it's charger plug could wear out the re-chargeable battery quicker. Also, clean it out completely once a week if your a near daily user or if you pet(s) shed a lot. This will help keep the vacuum working like new and avoid and sudden issues with suction or the rotation brush unable to turn. Doesn't take long to clean it out. If you have pets… get this hand held vacuum. Not a pad product at all.
