Best Handheld Vacuum For Pet Hair On Couch (2025 Update)

This product marketed as "Pet Pro+" is poorly designed. From the first use, dog hair gets stuck behind the debris rollers inside the dust cup. It's not simply a matter of pressing the release button to dispose the hair & dust. You have to dig behind to get everything out after each use. It's really inconvenient, dirty, and time-consuming. I purchased it to upgrade my Bissell Pet Hair Eraser, but am relieved I kept that old Bissell which I still use instead. Unfortunately I lost the BBB receipt but kept the Shark box flap with product information. See picture of that + problem. Please can you send me a better replacement?BBB Customer

Does an adequate job. This vacuum does not move a lot of air, but the attachment openings are small, which mostly offsets the low flow volume. As a result, this vacuum is not a good choice for weighty detritus – it just doesn't have the suction or air speed to pick up heavier materials. The smaller attachments cover very little surface area, so it's not a good choice for big spills, either. It does great on pet hair & dander, cat litter, dust & other lightweight materials though. The new Pet Power Brush attachment is a definite improvement over previous revisions. You're not required to clean the brush after every use to released trapped hair. The Power Brush is powered by the vacuum's internal battery, so using it will consume more battery, but I've yet to have an issue with the battery running out, even during extended use. The quick release bagless design is an improvement over older models that required filter bags, though the compartment is quite small. Once again, this vaccum is not intended for large areas or large volumn jobs. My only real complaint is the location of the power button. During normal use, that is where my index finger prefers to rest for stablization while reaching with the vacuum. I'll turn it off 20 times during a small job. I'm sure the power switch will wear out long before any other component, at least for me.HBailey

The suction of this hand vacuum is FANTASTIC! The attachments work very well as well. My only complaint is that the run time is relatively short compared to the time needed to charge – I get anywhere from 15-30 minutes max on a full charge. I mostly use to vacuum furniture, stair carpet treads, and miscellaneous fur on the wood floors so not a big deal but if you need to do a lot more daily vacuuming with this you may be annoyed by the charge it holds. Review update dropping to 3 stars because the vacuum takes a long time to recharge and you’re lucky to get even 15 minutes. I still think the suction is fantastic.Allie

This cordless has held it's charge for longer than expected. I used it off and on for miscellaneous cleaning two days in a row. I then thought I'd place it back on the charger, not because it was necessary, but I didn't want to be without it. The one disadvantage is that it has a reusable/ cleanable filter. The dust it filters is so fine that I'd prefer to throw it out and save my allergic reactions for bigger problems.Rlhumble

I would gladly give this a 5 star if it weren't for the fact that the power switch is tough to press. Really have to give it some push to get it 'on'. Otherwise I just LOVE it. Had a Dirt Devil before that lasted for many years, well worth the price. This one is even better as it has the quick flip option and really gets into tight spots well. I purchased the Dirt Devil yesterday for for a friend. I liked how the crevice piece is attached. After I charged the unit, I tried to turn it on. The on/off switch is very difficult to use. My friend has arthritis and I doubt she'll be able to operate this unit on her own. I'd consider keeping it, but I already have a cordless vacuumJane

This hand vac made my cleaning days a breeze with an unexpected benefit. We bought it because of the great reviews as a hand held vacuum to take along in the 5th wheel while on vacation. It turns out it's the perfect fit for our 4 sets of stairs! Overall, I really like this hand held vacuum cleaner. I have been constantly using this product for a week now and I absolutely love it. I basically use this product to clean my sofa, table, kitchen and even carpet floor since my apartment is considered small. A wet-dry handheld vacuum I've had for a LONG time finally decided to not work. I searching for a new handheld I came across the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser® Lithium Ion Cordless Pet Hand Vacuum. Upon reading the various reviews, I decided to give this vacuum a try and man I am glad I did. The powered brush head and good suction works great on our furniture to remove the cat hair from our two long-haired cats, Bella and Sassy Cat. I find the powered roller brush easy to clean. The included attachment fitment into the dust cup is firm, which gives me confidence in the ability for the attachment to stay in place during use. Since parts are available I also bought the dusting brush attachment and an extra brush roll and clip. Thank you for an effective (and good looking) handheld vacuum!Karl

I ordered this vacuum for myself 3 years ago and recently purchased another for a house warming gift. I use this pretty much for every cleaning job. Clean up kitchen, my bathrooms, car, hard to reach surfaces in my house and garage. It has had its fare share of rough handling but my goodness.. it had never disappointed me. The battery still charges up pretty good with decent amount of backup. The overall quality is pretty rugged but still its portable enough to be used by anyone. Since we use it much every day, it stay on continuous charging – discharging cycle. I feel like it has already paid its worth. This is one of those items that you don't realize how much you need it until you buy it. Was happy to receive the Shark WV410 Wandvac Power Pet Cordless Hand vacuum as I had areas that I knew it would come in real handy for. It weighs just about 1.5 pounds so was easy on my arm and hand. Upon opening the box it was very simple to put together – basically all in just a couple of minutes. Included is a charging dock, handheld vacuum wand, onboard accessory storage attachment (which you need to slip on the back of wand for stability), a duster crevice tool and a pet tool. The 2 attachments simply sit in their proper places on the storage attachment and it's set up, ready to go. I ran the power cord through the bottom as there is a groove that keeps it in place. I then plugged it in and charged about 4 hours. You can leave this vacuum plugged in continuously so its always charged and ready to use without harming the battery life. There is a round white power button on the wand in front that slowly blinks until its fully charged then turns solid. The on and off switch button is on the handle and a Boost button below that for the Deep Clean mode. When using the Deep Clean mode I found the battery remained charged about 14 minutes, so for longer usage I found the normal Eco mode works perfectly with plenty of adequate suction and has about 1/2 hour run time. I used this to actually dust my house – on tables and other pieces of furniture, picture frames, etc. Especially worked wonders on my carpeted basement steps! No more dragging my heavy corded vacuum around to accomplish that task! It picked up crumbs and other little items of dry cat food without a hitch. You can see when the dust cup is full and ready to be emptied. So after use you will need to empty the dust cup by depressing a yellow switch and holding it over a trash can. I suggest wiping out the cup with a dry cloth to help keep it cleaner inside. When the included filter needs cleaning you have to remove the dust cup and pinching both sides of filter you pivot upward to access it. Place over a trash can and there is a metal ring on top of the filter to help remove from the housing. Just tap it lightly to remove dirt and rinse with water only. Be sure to let the filter air-dry for at least 24 hours or completely dry before reinstalling. I have had no blockage issues whatsoever with mine but if you do notice a noise change while vacuuming check for blockages or objects that might be caught in the vacuum. There are instructions in the owner's manual for this. The manual also has an excellent Troubleshooting section which is most helpful if you need it. Shark made this vacuum so easy to use and future fix so keep that manual just in case! There are other available accessories you can purchase. However for this particular model it seems to be just the wide upholstery tool and a replacement battery. The tools that came with mine are sufficient and overall I am very pleased with its performance. It's not the quietest hand vacuum around but it sure does a great job of picking up things I need it to. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this very useful small household vacuum and love the fact its cordless. The Sharp Wandvac WV410 is the 2nd iteration of the portable handheld vacuum that has been quite popular. This new version has a lot of improvements over the older one and makes it a more versatile compact unit. The first thing I noticed when I got this vacuum is how light, small, and consequently ergonomic the design is. Like all shark vacuums, the build quality is superb even though the whole unit is made with plastic. The material is sturdy and seemed to withstand the regular rough handling when trying to vacuum some weird crevice. I never felt it’ll get damaged, which is not the case with a lot of these handheld vacuums. The unit comes with 2 attachments, however there’s no powered attachment. A charging base, which also acts like an attachment holder, is included and importantly has a small footprint. This helped me to set it up in a convenient location, and made sure the unit is getting charged after stow. Another good feature which I found quite significant is the use of detachable battery. Thus if the battery fails after it’s charge cycle has been used up, I don’t need to throw away the vacuum. Also if I need to use it more frequently, I can get a second battery (and charger) to swap on the job. I really love this feature. In terms of performance, I never thought this will replace my larger, corded units – you can only do so much with a small cordless unit – but I’m definitely impressed. Being a pet owner, I am constantly cleaning up dog hair and scattered food stuff all over the house, and for that purpose this has been working perfectly. The unit storage for dust and debri is small due to the form factor, but the hinge design for dumping these made it a breeze, and moreover it’s almost a no-touch solution. Thus, it’s quite easy to clean which again is something I miss in some of my other handheld vacuums. The vacuum is not the noisient out there, and the suction power is not extraordinary, but for the size and useability they are more than adequate. Overall I’m quite impressed what Shark is delivering with the WV401 and I’m using it practically everyday. Without going overboard with features and design, the Wandvac provides provides the one thing I look for in a handheld vacuum – ease of use. There is a simplicity to this little vacuum that I really appreciate. It has two buttons, one for power, and the other a toggle for boost mode. Last it has a latch for unlocking the dust trap on the underside to dump out the contents it picked up. There are two included attachments, one for a wider area with a brush at the end, and the other is an extension of the end of the vacuum with a flip up brush at its tip. The two extra parts have little mounting points on the charging station that the handheld drops into for storage and charging, and once you find a suitable place for it all it is very compact and unassuming. The vacuum itself is shockingly lightweight yet very powerful for its size. It is well balanced making it easy to hold and maneuver into tight spaces. That is the strong point for it is tight spaces like in your car or corners of stairs or furniture. Being so small it does not have much room to store the debris so you either must plan on emptying it often or using it sparingly for the small areas a larger vacuum could not easily get to. I have been able to get it around and under the seats of my vehicles and use it regularly for cleaning up the nooks of my stairs where my dogs leave hair all the time. It is so easy to grab off the dock and get to work that it makes me feel more inclined to do so for even the smallest and quickest messes. I store it right next to my larger stick vacuum so it’s easy for me to get to and keeps everything of similar jobs in the same place. Battery life is great I typically have to empty the reservoir many times long before being at risk of running out of battery life. And when I am done just drop it back onto the dock so it's always ready to go. With the wide head attachment, it works great for clearing couches and other furniture of dog hair, and the smaller attachment gets into the small spaces like my stairs. It is also very quiet especially considering its suction power. I am very impressed with how well it works and how easy it is to use. For pet owners who need to get hair and dust out of all their corners or anyone who wants to be able to clean small spaces quickly and easily this is a must have and I highly recommend it.Josh

Just arrived and I've only used it once so far, but the suction in the 16V product is so MUCH more powerful than I anticipated – I'm glad I didn't order the 20V version. It charged quickly. I forgot to time how long it lasted, but I got everything done that I wanted to. The blower is out the back instead of the side like my previous handheld which blew the dirt away before you could suck it up. It's also louder than my old one, but seems to have double the suction power, so it's a good trade-off. We have 3 cats and a dog and this handheld got all the hair with no problem. Cleaning was a breeze. my only recommendation would be to offer additional filters at the time of purchase, just for the convenience of having one at the ready (for whenever). Thanks to the Black and Decker Product Testing Program, I received this Black and Decker Dustbuster, complimentary, in exchange for my honest review. The following opinions are 100% authentic and my own. I was super excited to be chosen to try out my first Black and Decker product. When my Dustbuster arrived, it was a bit smaller than I had imagined, which wasn't necessarily a bad or good thing, I just noted it. The suction seemed strong at first, when powered on, just the warm air it was blowing out seemed incredibly powerful for such a small handheld vacuum. Unfortunately, that's where the excitement ends. The suction is seemingly strange and I completely understand this isn't a big and mighty vacuum, but when I say it's strange it's almost as if the actual suction only exists in a certain portion or area of the mouth of the vacuum, as opposed to suction coming from the entire mouth. If I have a crumb, and I want it cleaned up, I must pinpoint this certain area over the crumb, as opposed to simply running the entire mouth over the general area of the crumb. It's tiresome and a bit annoying that I can't just simply swipe the vacuum over the area like most would generally do when vacuuming. It requires more effort than it should. The entry level dustbuster has a grey push button that must be CONSTANTLY held to work. It does not stay on unless you keep your thumb pressed on it. Very difficult if you have small hands or hand disabilities (such as carpal tunnel or anything else that makes ongoing thumb pressure hard). The suction is good. However, in order to use this thing you must hold the on button or tape it down. HORRIBLE design that renders it almost non-functional. Bought it at Target yesterday. Regretting my choice.Quinn

I was pleasantly surprised how much more power this little thing has. The suction is great not like the old hand held vacs. that plugged it the cigarette lighter in your car. This is a noticeable improvement. It's lightweight easy to handle and maneuver in tight and hard to reach areas. One of the unique things is nozzle extends out if needed to reach under chairs or car seats. Included is a small attachable brush and a little beater brush that helps to pull out pet hair from carpet or rugs. That attachment is of course made of plastic so I don't think it's made for big jobs like stairs or large rugs. I used it for mostly for upholstered furniture and car seats. It's very handy to have especially when a quick clean up is needed. I pull it out and run over the sofa to make sure there isn't any pet hair on it. Also you can even run over your clothes to get rid of hair or lint. The see through dust bin is easy to empty. The paper filter is recommended to be replaced after 6-9 months. I was surprised at how well this tiny vacuum works! I was looking for something quick and easy to vacuum my couches and this fit the bill! Not only is it small but it packs power. I have a dog that loves to lay on the back of the couches and this little vacuum makes it so easy for daily clean up of dog hair. It gets all the dog hair up and makes the couches look brand new! I. I have a very large golden retriever, so I was anxious to try this pet hand vacuum through the Walmart Spark Reviewer program. This replaces an old B+D Dustbuster that didn't have very good suction. This comes with a small base that we mounted on the wall with 2 screws. It is a cordless unit, however it needs to be plugged in, in order to charge. There are basically 2 ways to use this vacuum – the first is like a traditional hand vacuum and the second is with a detachable, motorized "pet head" with rubber tines that helps get pet hair up. I noticed some hair gets wrapped up in the tines, but it is easy to pull out/remove. It is very powerful and much more efficient than the hand vacuum that it replaces. There are however some key design flaws, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. We discovered after we mounted it on the wall that the power plug connects to the unit itself, not the base. That means every time you use it, you need to unplug it from the power source, then you need to plug it back in for charging after use. When you use it, you can really feel a very strong wind tunnel shooting out of both sides of it. This is annoying when you are vacuuming in tight quarters, like a vehicle. It literally blows right in your face. I don't notice it as much if I'm just vacuuming the floor, or a rug. Another issue I'm finding is that when I empty the chamber after use, the air filter always falls out in the trash. You have to be very careful in order for this not to happen. Overall I am happy with how strong of a suction it has and how much hair it actually picks up, but I think it needs some improvements to be 5 star worthy.phonequestion

We’ve had this hand vac for years (10?) and it always worked great for picking up pet hair, human hair, etc. It was especially useful on stairs that are hard to clean with larger vacs. Unfortunately, a small plastic part broke inside the clear part of the vacuum. At first, it continued to work, but then overheated so it is dead. My main objective for this was to get a corded version of a hand held compact device for use in my RV because I hate the limitations of battery operated devices, ironic as it is. This solves that problem, but has limited reach for tight spots. This could be remedied by designing a hose attachment with a crevice nozzle long enough to reach under small spaces, especially those in cars. I like the long cord, the power of it, and the rubber nozzle for pet hair. It is a bit noisy so wear ear plugs if you are sensitive. It also kicks up the dust and hair, so be prepared. It might be nice to see a version of this in both corded and battery so that there could be a versatile option for power. The filter is not easy to clean and gets filthy very quickly. I've cleaned mine about 10 times since I've owned it, and often tap out any loose dirt and use tweezers to clear out the heavier lint in the folds. It reminds me of an air filter I used to buy for my Toro lawn mower once a year. Buying new filters for this would be expensive, and it might be nice to see a cleanable filter. I guess that might cut into their bottom line, however, I'm not going to shell out money on expensive filters every week. The main design flaw is in the switch, which turns off when it hits objects as its being used in tight places. Upon cleaning my car, I kept hitting the handle on certain areas and had to keep turning it back on. Put the switch on the back. The shape is gimmicky, and the handle seems a bit in the way and could have been more streamlined. Overall, its a good product, but not perfect. Its great – so long as you keep your expectations realistic. Remember – its a handheld vac, so don't expect the suction power (and therefore, speed) of a Dyson! It's has limited suction power and takes a little more time to get the job done. For my first test, I had spilled some grains of dry rice inside a kitchen cupboard, and this little guy sucked them up in less than a minute – BUT! it took a little patience to get the job done, and that was hard grains on a hard surface (wood). The second test came in the car. It doesn't work so well for soft bits of fluff that can 'cling' to the carpets in the car (in other words, soft dirt on soft surfaces). This takes a little more patience, and is best done using the little brush extension to dislodge the target dirt. By contrast, small hard gravel on the car mats is not a problem. So, in my experience, you need to be patient for bits of dirt that are able to 'cling' to the host material; otherwise, for hard dirt on hard surfaces, it's a piece of cake. I'm an Uber driver, and its primary function is to keep the car clean in-between passenger rides. It's absolutely perfect for that. Small enough to store hidden-away in the side door compartment. After each ride, I check for dirt on the passenger carpets, then break-out the Bissell for a quick vacuum and Bingo! – back to a clean car in no time, ready for the next ride. TOP TIPS: 1. Keep the filter 100% clean, otherwise the suction reduces significantly. 2. Keep it fully-charged using the USB connector that plugs into the car. It needs to be fully-charged to be effective, otherwise it loses suction power. I use it every day, and I love it. One of my best purchases of all time, and – yes – I would buy it again.Curlytop

I use this for my car! It’s great for small messes like debris that ends up on the floors from your shoes! It fits perfectly in my cup holder! It does an OKAY job with pet hair…but i also have huskies so a stronger vacuum like at the car wash are more useful in my case when it comes to pet hair. They’re also not always in my car so it’s not a huge negative to this product. The battery life is also pretty good! My only complaint is how small the collection area is. It doesn’t hold much so you have to empty it quite frequently – even multiple times throughout the use you’re needing it for. For how big and long it is, I would think it would have a little bit bigger of an area to house what you’re cleaning up. Instead, majority of it is the battery/suction mechanics.Mae

Wanted to like this as it looks sleek and seemed like the perfect solution to clean my computer parts. However it is just a 'rushed to market' product with big design flaws that make it a deal breaker: 1) The battery life is a joke – takes 3.5 hours to charge and last only about 5 minutes in use ! This is the biggest deal breaker 2) Suction power is really bad – even for the price. If you add the brush attachment it is further lowered to the extent that this is no better that a plain brush moving dust around rather than vacuuming. I had bought this mainly to clean my laptop and mechanical keyboards and it does not work very well at all. I cannot imagine this being any use at all for any heavier work (ex. cleaning car). Without the brush pulled out it is slightly better and may be able to pull food bits. 3) The dust compartment is tiny – rendering this useless for anything beyond vacuuming fine dust off electronics (and it does not do a satisfactory job of even that) – unless you are OK with emptying out the container every few seconds in the middle of vacuuming 4) The air outlet vent is on the same side as the vacuuming surface. So if you attach the attachment like it is supposed to be attached, it will end up blowing dirt and dust all over the place. It should be in the opposite direction ! All these clearly suggest this is a product that was not well thought out or tested adequately. I am returning this.Debashish

I would like to question the rated for pet(s) statement on the box. Maybe I should have read the fine print to see their definition of a pet. Apparently a German Shepard is not the pet they meant in pet rated…. It clogged after a couple of passes on a sofa. There is a rubber flapper on the inside canister where the particles are sucked in, however the dog hair gets caught and balled up behind that rubber piece. It took a lot of time unclogging balls of dog hair. I get it, I could vacuum and sweep every day with this critter of mine and still have dog hair! I thought that maybe, just maybe I could get a little reprieve in the endless cycle of a dog hair fiesta. This vacuum is like hiring a house cleaner, you have to pick everything up and clean before the keeper gets there. Also, if you don't have a German Shepard, I am sure this little vacuum would work great.Cami

I never leave reviews on anything but I have to for this one. First of all I am a huge fan of Shark products. I have the hard surface vacuum and the spin and scrub steam mop. I have owned them for several years. When I seen this vacuum in the store I compared to others but ended up buying this one because Shark has always been the best. I even got rid of my Bissell Crosswave to go back to the Shark. With that being said, I absolutely LOVE the suction this vacuum has. I bought it to use on my furniture, small messes around the house, and my car. When it works, its amazing! BUT the battery life SUCKS. I mean full charge and it might last 15 minutes. The instructions say it takes up to 3 charging sessions for the battery to "learn" its battery life. Well, evidently mine is hard headed because it hasnt learned yet. I came on here to see if a replacement battery would help, thinking I just got a bad battery with mine. After seeing all of the reviews about the battery I guess its just a faulty make on Sharks part. I wish they would fix this issue and offer a replacement since so many people have the same problem. This is the worse Shark handheld vacuum I ever owned from Shark. The opening is way to small and clogs up easily and it doesn't hold a charge as long as specified and the dust catcher is is very minimal . I have bought many shark products in the past 10 yrs, I'm talking handhelds, (which only last till warranty runs out) but they do get the job done. Same way with steam cleaners, I've bought 2 and warranty expired, they just quit working. This time I went with a different brand, have to wait and see how it does. Now as to their upright vacuums, I am still using the same one I've had for over 10 yrs and works like a charm. Here lately their products seem to be going down hill. I plan to send an email to the company in regards to this last purchase, because this vacuum is a piece of crap. This is my reveiw, late but still got it off my chest after trying to clean up a mess and it won't pick up, because clogged again. I love this vacuum! I have a toddler, a cat, and a dog that I’m constantly having to follow around and clean up little messes. I got so sick of dragging my full-size vacuum out for one mess of goldfish smashed into the carpet so I invested in this handheld vacuum and it was the best idea ever! It has 2 suction speeds an extendable nozzle to get in hard to reach places so it really cleans up what I need it to fast effectively! I also love that it’s cordless. Love the pull out extension nozzle for easy reach into corners and around furniture or when cleaning out the car. The two speed on/off button is also very convenient. I was gifted this Dustbuster by a family member and I love it! I have dogs and cats so I'm constantly trying to clean up their hair from everywhere. This has made my cleaning easier and faster. This works great on my stairs in-between the banisters, around my fireplace and by my sliding glass doors. The special head gets all the hair off my furniture with ease. I really like the one touch empty system so I'm not getting my hands dirty. The battery charge really lasts through my cleaning routine. It just stopped working. I’ve had it less than a year and I thought maybe it wasn’t fully charged each time I went to use it. So I made a point of trying to fully charge, it turns on and then shuts off immediately. I’ve had for a while but truly I use once a month mostly to just suck up crumbs in my couch. In the year I’ve had it, it worked well the first two or so times. I’m pretty disappointed.Lucy B

I absolutely love Black & Decker, but this handheld vacuum was average for me. It does pick up but you have to take your time with it. The suctioning isn't very powerful with this one. However, this would be great if it had a little more suction power. The battery life is excellent, it last for quite a while, a good couple of hours. I will say it is rather noisy, that's another thing I'd like to see redone. I do like how it comes with the brush head that you can pull up or down to help pick things up. It is very light weight, I don't have any issues there, it doesn't hurt my hand while using. There is a button on top to push that pulls the bottom piece off to empty and clean it. The filter is kept where you empty the container, very easy to pull apart and clean. However it does get dirty easy, any little bit of dirt will cause this to not suction as good. So it will need cleaned pretty frequently. Overall, it's alright, something to maybe keep for in the car. But I'd love to see the suction a little more powerful to pick up better, and the noise reduced some. I also probably wouldn't recommend, over one of their other vacuums.Peachy

This dustbuster works great and is just what I needed. The suction on this handheld vaccum is incredibly powerful for being so lightweight. I was able to quickly and easily clean up a huge pile of sugar that spilled all over my kitchen floor. It was much easier and less time consuming than dragging out the vacuum or sweeping. The dustbowl is extra large so it holds alot of debris and is easy to detach and clean out. It works perfectly for picking up all the crumbs and little messes my kids leave behind. It is really great for cleaning out the seats and floors in my van. It's incredibly easy to handle and use. Even my kids are able to use it with ease. This powerful, handheld vacuum has already made our life easier with four young children. We're in the car often with driving them to school and sports. Having this handheld vacuum so easily accessible has made it so much easier to quickly tidy up our van. Another perk is that my kids love to use it! A wet-dry handheld vacuum I've had for a LONG time finally decided to not work. I searching for a new handheld I came across the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser® Lithium Ion Cordless Pet Hand Vacuum. Upon reading the various reviews, I decided to give this vacuum a try and man I am glad I did. The powered brush head and good suction works great on our furniture to remove the cat hair from our two long-haired cats, Bella and Sassy Cat. I find the powered roller brush easy to clean. The included attachment fitment into the dust cup is firm, which gives me confidence in the ability for the attachment to stay in place during use. Since parts are available I also bought the dusting brush attachment and an extra brush roll and clip. Thank you for an effective (and good looking) handheld vacuum!Karl

I ordered this vacuum for myself 3 years ago and recently purchased another for a house warming gift. I use this pretty much for every cleaning job. Clean up kitchen, my bathrooms, car, hard to reach surfaces in my house and garage. It has had its fare share of rough handling but my goodness.. it had never disappointed me. The battery still charges up pretty good with decent amount of backup. The overall quality is pretty rugged but still its portable enough to be used by anyone. Since we use it much every day, it stay on continuous charging – discharging cycle. I feel like it has already paid its worth. This is one of those items that you don't realize how much you need it until you buy it. I have another Bissel vacuum cleaner as well and overall I am happy with the quality they put into their products. I hope this review helps you in your purchase decision.Gurdeep

Its great – so long as you keep your expectations realistic. Remember – its a handheld vac, so don't expect the suction power (and therefore, speed) of a Dyson! It's has limited suction power and takes a little more time to get the job done. For my first test, I had spilled some grains of dry rice inside a kitchen cupboard, and this little guy sucked them up in less than a minute – BUT! it took a little patience to get the job done, and that was hard grains on a hard surface (wood). The second test came in the car. It doesn't work so well for soft bits of fluff that can 'cling' to the carpets in the car (in other words, soft dirt on soft surfaces). This takes a little more patience, and is best done using the little brush extension to dislodge the target dirt. By contrast, small hard gravel on the car mats is not a problem. So, in my experience, you need to be patient for bits of dirt that are able to 'cling' to the host material; otherwise, for hard dirt on hard surfaces, it's a piece of cake. I'm an Uber driver, and its primary function is to keep the car clean in-between passenger rides. It's absolutely perfect for that. Small enough to store hidden-away in the side door compartment. After each ride, I check for dirt on the passenger carpets, then break-out the Bissell for a quick vacuum and Bingo! – back to a clean car in no time, ready for the next ride. TOP TIPS: 1. Keep the filter 100% clean, otherwise the suction reduces significantly. 2. Keep it fully-charged using the USB connector that plugs into the car. It needs to be fully-charged to be effective, otherwise it loses suction power. I use it every day, and I love it. One of my best purchases of all time, and – yes – I would buy it again.Curlytop

I use this for my car! It’s great for small messes like debris that ends up on the floors from your shoes! It fits perfectly in my cup holder! It does an OKAY job with pet hair…but i also have huskies so a stronger vacuum like at the car wash are more useful in my case when it comes to pet hair. They’re also not always in my car so it’s not a huge negative to this product. The battery life is also pretty good! My only complaint is how small the collection area is. It doesn’t hold much so you have to empty it quite frequently – even multiple times throughout the use you’re needing it for. For how big and long it is, I would think it would have a little bit bigger of an area to house what you’re cleaning up. Instead, majority of it is the battery/suction mechanics.Mae

Wanted to like this as it looks sleek and seemed like the perfect solution to clean my computer parts. However it is just a 'rushed to market' product with big design flaws that make it a deal breaker: 1) The battery life is a joke – takes 3.5 hours to charge and last only about 5 minutes in use ! This is the biggest deal breaker 2) Suction power is really bad – even for the price. If you add the brush attachment it is further lowered to the extent that this is no better that a plain brush moving dust around rather than vacuuming. I had bought this mainly to clean my laptop and mechanical keyboards and it does not work very well at all. I cannot imagine this being any use at all for any heavier work (ex. cleaning car). Without the brush pulled out it is slightly better and may be able to pull food bits. 3) The dust compartment is tiny – rendering this useless for anything beyond vacuuming fine dust off electronics (and it does not do a satisfactory job of even that) – unless you are OK with emptying out the container every few seconds in the middle of vacuuming 4) The air outlet vent is on the same side as the vacuuming surface. So if you attach the attachment like it is supposed to be attached, it will end up blowing dirt and dust all over the place. It should be in the opposite direction ! All these clearly suggest this is a product that was not well thought out or tested adequately. I am returning this.Debashish

I bought this product on Friday March the 11th (2022). That night I did a small test run and it worked fine then. Then I left it on the charger for 24 hours! After that I was using it to clean my car, then starts shutting off on me! I keep turning it on and off for while, and it just kept shutting off. I put it on the charger an hour and a half, then used it again, just to have it keep turning off on me again. I’ve charged this 3 times now, This is stupid! I literally just bought this thing! There no where on the internet or the instructions on how to fix this junk!SKehr

The slim design is nice looking and saves space. It seems like it is a little less noisy than other hand vacs that I own. The suction is adequate – it's great for picking up debris from tiles or wood or linoleum, not so much on carpet. The built in nozzle can be pulled out an inch or so and then widened to increase the size of the cleaning swath. I think that's pretty cool! It also comes with a crevice nozzle and a dust brush. The battery seems to last a good while. I have used it about a dozen times so far, for just a few seconds or maybe a minute or so at a time, and it have only had to charge it once. There is no battery life indicator light so I guess I'll know that it needs a recharge when the motor slows down or the battery just dies. The dirt cup is pretty small so it's not going to hold a ton of debris, but it's great for small messes. The dirt cup is super easy to remove (twist it off) and the filter can be cleaned. I keep this vacuum in my kitchen and it has been terrific for quickly grabbing and sucking up small, dry kitchen messes, and for picking up cat and dog food that my messy animals have dropped in the floor. This dustbuster is great for what it is. I mostly use it in the kitchen and nook area. I use it to clean up crumbs in and around the burners on my gas range, counter tops, table, and chairs. It also works great tackling dry food spills. It is small and light enough for my children to use when they drop cheerios on the rug. Fairly easy to operate with a slide button to power on and off. It is also pretty easy to empty and clear out. The catch is with it being so compact the dirt storage chamber is not very large.KatieCat
