Reviews:
This particular mop has some great features like the long cord, level of steam options, and the swivel head. It is pretty lightweight but does a good job of lifting dust, watersheds, and light foot traffic. The scrubber helps lift heavier, sticky messes if you repeatedly go over the mess or raise the steam leave. This model won't tolerate you pushing hard down on the handle so you need to be patient and just keep going over tough spots for it to do it's job, and it will. You'll need to remove the hot scrub pad immediately when you're done or place the entire unit on a counter while it cools to avoid damage on a wood floor. I left mine on a laminate wood floor while cooling down and it left white, cloudy stains underneath the pad on my floor that I cannot remove. Hard lesson learned. I find the mop head too large for smaller bathrooms.
I have many animals and hardwood and tile throughout my home. I have had a Shark and Orek steam mops before and thought they did a decent job. But I am a hardcore Bissell fan when it comes to vacuums because of the massive shedding from the pets not to mention my drooling Mastiffs. I went with this Bissell for the brand and am more than satisfied with my choice. This model, 1940W, does an exceptional job of cleaning both my hardwood and tile floors without streaking or having to go over the saliva enzymes 20x before it lifts. I can really clean my floors easily on the medium setting and did my kitchen, dining room, living room, and hallway which is about 1600sq. feet without having to refill the tank. The scrubbing pad made easy work of getting up any spills or sticky spots, all in one quick motion. This is steamer mop is far better than the other two I had. The cord is plenty long and the scent discs which I didn't think would be a big deal actually are. The whole house smelled wonderful and the scent even wafted upstairs. The large pad surface and swivel head are a huge plus. I highly recommend this product and Bissell in particular.ShoppingSherpa
I bought this when it was deeply discounted to replace my other current options, which were either a bucket/mop with a lil fabuloso or pinesol or getting on my hands and knees with a rag. I already have a Dyson handheld cordless vacuum, so I decided not to get the vacuum steam mop combo version, and just get this lighter steam mop only instead. Just as the Dyson made me not mind vacuuming, I thought that getting the lighter steam mop would do the same for me but for mopping, even though it's corded. I have to say, it does what it says it'll do. It's not as detailed as spending hours in the floor with a hand-rag, or as deep cleaning as soaking the tile floor with a mop-bucket but it's wayyyyy less mess, dries wayyyy faster, it's wayyyy more ergonomic, and more likely that I'll do this more often than the other two methods, which was basically out of desperation once a year. I also really like that the pads are reusable and washable, even if it's kind of a pain to remember to wash them, and don't even mind the cord. It's the perfect length to cover my entire kitchen without unplugging. Glad I held out for this. I'm actually looking forward to having and maintaining somewhat clean floors from now on. #sweepstakesErin

Reviews:
Steam mops are magical! My cleaning heart is so happy! We moved in three years ago and the floor in our bathroom has always looked like this. I probably scoured 30+ years of grime out of these tiles. So gross! Still not my favorite tile, but I can at least live with it for a little while longer and not get totally disgusted every time I look at it. The Bissell Powerfresh Slim 3-in-1 is my new best friend! Using the handheld pod, red brush, and a bit of elbow grease to scrub both tile and grout it performed really well. The grime was really built up and I had to clean out the bristles often, but I was expecting that for the initial deep clean. I also pretreated the tile flooring with a vinegar solution to loosen the dirt before scrubbing and that worked like a charm. For a big job like this I had to refill the tank several times, but if there was a larger water tank it would have added extra weight and made it difficult to maneuver the pod. Haven't tried the extension arm or the mop head yet, but I think it will be a great way to keep all that grime build up at bay.Anna
Assembly was simple although at first I didn’t realize the screw that holds it together was taped to the handle, and I worried it was lost. Also to those receiving this mop with what looks like a “used” water tank and are returning it because it appears to have been used and then returned: I believe Bissell water tests these machines to check for leaks and to make sure everything works properly before packaging up for the consumer, so you could order ten of these and all ten would appear “used.” If all the other components and packaging appear to have not been opened and used once before, it’s safe to say your product hasn’t been used and then returned. The power cord was neatly folded and the twist tie did not appear to have been undone before and retied, the mop pads were clean and smelled of the manufacturer not like someone’s detergent. The screw came in a sealed plastic bag taped to the handle. Pretty safe to say it hadn’t been used before. The scrub brush is amazing. I use it on the caulking by my baseboards to get up dirt and dust. I will say, the “light” steam setting seems a bit too light. Maybe just for a quick dusting of your floors. The high setting is the way to go if you really want to see some steam and a good amount of wetness left behind on the floor. I had mopped with my traditional mop a week before using the steam mop, and to be honest I wasn’t too surprised that the pad was dirty since I’ve always assumed the mop was leaving dirty water behind. Definitely purchase!Sarschmi
I was excited to buy this to clean/sanitize my floors in the entire house. I have large marble tile (very glossy) in first floor and semi gloss wood floor on the stairs & second floor. I started downstairs first, and worked my way upstairs. I followed the exact directions, and the first floor with marble came out terrible with super large streaks of water. I had it set to high steam, and was using the rough textured pad for the stains. I then began the stairs, and worked my way up to the second floor. Refilled the tank with water, and began the same process on the second floor and came out way better. This doesnt work great with high gloss tile. Wood is better to absorb the moisture it leaves behind. Pros: the cord is very long, and the tablet it comes with in the box left my house smelling really good. I will give it one more shot with the first floor’s marbel tile on low steam setting, and the white pad to see how it goes. If the outcome is the same, I’m going to return it.Chris

Reviews:
For a multi-surface steam mop, I was pleasantly surprised at how light the machine was. Not only is it light but it stands by itself (without leaning on a wall), is a beautiful color, is easy to glide into tight spaces between cabinets or under stoves, not much residue is left behind, the cloth over the foot holds a lot of dirt, attachments are super easy to put on, it only takes roughly a minute for the water to steam up after initial plugin, and has a nice area for the cord storage around the handle. When it came to using the steam mop over a large area, I had to plug it in to a couple different outlets and wait for the water to steam up each time. I also discovered it's wise to start with the grout cleaning attachment first, for tile floors, then use the cloth base to remove the residue. I'm not sure how long the grout brush will perform for, as the heat & brushing action really skewed the tough plastic bristles after 1 use. On that same note, there is no place to store the bristle attachments on the machine, so it might be a sign they are not built to last long. I may also recommend earplugs when using the brush attachments as the steam rushes straight to the floor and creates a super loud "hissing" sound (best to have the kids out of the house when cleaning the floors). I attempted to clean the grout on our kitchen floor, which probably hasn't been cleaned in about 1-year (usually by toothbrush and hand), and found the steam mop to be best at cleaning up old food and stains. I didn't notice too much difference in the color of the grout (grayish) after steaming it. I also tested the moldy grout in our bathroom with the grout cleaning spout, but was unable to remove much of the mold. What's great about the steam mop is that's it's chemical-free so I totally feel comfortable letting my son help me clean! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this steam cleaner!
I was looking for a lightweight steam mop. After researching dozens of items and reading a multitude of reviews, I decided to give the Bissell Power Fresh 2-in-1 a try. I must say, it was the BEST decision I've made in a long time. It's easy to assemble and use and it does a great job of cleaning without harsh chemicals (pet and children safe). My Main Reasons for purchasing the Bissell 2-in-1: 1) It has a visible water tank so you always know how much water you have left. Although the tank seems small, I was able to do my kitchen and dining room before having to refill it (and I was using the "steam" constantly). 2) It heats up quickly (within a minute or two) and has a light which shows you when it's ready. 3) It's lightweight (approximately 5-6 lbs) and maneuverable. 4) I have 2 dogs who are constantly going in and out and a lot of foot traffic. The microfiber pad, which was already installed, cleaned the floor swiftly and completely. It was easy to remove and when I put it in the washing machine with detergent ONLY (no bleach or fabric softener) it came out clean and fresh. 5) I wanted a "corded" steamer so that I could do all my rooms without interruption and there were only few models with cords. If you have a large space there is nothing worse than having to stop every 20 minutes to "recharge" the cordless models. 5) Assembling the steamer was a breeze. Snap the handles and water tank in and you're ready to go. 6) Also, Bissell supposedly donates a portion of their proceeds to helping animals. I can't verify whether or not this is true but, if so, this is the "icing on the cake" for me.Jo
I have had a steamer on my wish list for long time, so when I received this one from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I couldn't wait to try it out! I was impressed to find out that this steamer is actually made to be used on other hard surfaces in addition to the floors, so we put that feature to use immediately. I first tried it in the bathroom, where there are lots of surfaces to be sanitized (having 5 boys in the family means lots of cleaning up in our bathroom). We first used it on the tile floor, then removed the long handle, and used the steamer in hand held mode to make it easier to clean the countertops and faucet, hard to reach/clean areas around the toilet, and the tile and grout around the bathtub. Being able to use this as a mop and then as a hand held steamer is really my favorite thing about it. We also took it outside and used it on the metal security door with great results. Other places we used it include the kitchen sink, faucet, and handles; the washing machine, the dishwasher, all the door handles, and a weird sticky stain on a door! We also use it weekly on our engineered hardwood floors and have had great results. You have to be careful to not leave in it one spot for a long time, or it could damage the wood. However, we've had no issues whatsoever using it for four months. Since we have small children, I really appreciate the ability to sanitize things without using chemicals that can be dangerous and unhealthy. I admit that it took me a while (and some research) to believe that the steam was actually sanitizing. I think I simply was used to the idea that you have to have gloves and a strong smell and toxic chemicals to really sanitize something! This is just so much easier and safer! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to sanitize (or just clean) in a safe way.amberhowardhere

Reviews:
I've tested a decent amount of vacuums over the last decade. This is the first one I've tested that was made for hard surfaces and I was excited to get it mostly for my wife who always uses whatever other vacuum on our hard floors almost interchangeably as our carpeted areas. While I normally would sweep hard floors and them vacuum up the pile or let our robot vacuum with mop attachment do all the work for me. Setup was a little overwhelming looking at first but not too bad. The whole thing comes in more pieces than I would normally expect to find but the instructions lay out what everything is pretty nicely and after the initial shock it wasn't too hard to figure it out. I put it all together and let it charge over night (it suggests at least 4-5 hours of charge time before the initial use). I'm pretty happy with the steps required to actually use this vacuum. It's mostly a supplement to our robot vacuum/mop. I'm happy with the robot but we usually go around the are and pick up/move everything off of the floor in the entire upstairs before we run it so it's a process. It does a good job but the setup and reconstruction of the area before running it makes us use it far less than I'd like. So having a vacuum that's made for sweeping and mopping that I can easily setup and break down is key. When you want to use this, just fill up the clean water tank with mostly water and a small cap-full of soap. Then you're ready to go. The first time I hit the power button, I was surprised as it kind of drives itself forward. Pretty nice to lighten the load but you're also fighting against that push when your pull the vacuum back again. Overall it was a nice little assist, I think. The vacuum and mop did a pretty nice job of cleaning the floor pretty quickly but it did require an empty and refill of the tanks before I was finished. That doesn't take too long so it was no big deal. After I was done doing the whole upstairs area, the battery still had about 60% left (I was worried because when I first started it up, it looked like the battery was draining very quickly). The nice thing about having a screen with all the information on it is that you can see at a glance how hard the vacuum is working and what battery level is remaining. After you're done the instructions recommend you clean the dirty and clean water tanks as well as the roller and roller protector after each use. This is the only annoying part since you can't really just grab the vacuum to do a quick job and put it back but the cleanup of these things doesn't take too long. The base station does include an auto-clean feature for the roller so you have that going for you and there were 2 additional rollers included with this vacuum so you can always just rotate them if you need to clean one. Apparently there's an app that goes with this vacuum. The instructions just said that you can "perform all functions from the app" but I don't really know what functions those are. I did not download the app and can't imagine what I would possibly need it for. The functions on the vacuum are very minimal and can be adjusted with just a few pushes of the 3 buttons on the vacuum. I just didn't want another app on my phone. The only weird thing I didn't love about this vacuum was how it sat on the charging station. It leans forward quite a bit for some reason. I would expect it to just sit straight up and down but when the head is locked and you place it on the charger the handle leans forward at what feels like a 30 degree angle. Far more than you'd expect. Enough that I thought I was doing something wrong. I couldn't figure out a better way to place it on the charger though so I'm going to assume it's just how it was designed. I got used to it quickly enough but it was a weird thing when I first saw it. Overall, I like the vacuum. It does a good job supplementing our robot vacuum by being easy to get up and running and being easy to break down and clean when we're done (while not needing to break down the entire upstairs before using it since we can move things while vacuuming). If you're looking for a nice hard surface vacuum/mop and this fits your budget, give it a look. I was impressed with it for the most part.swemoney
I never taught about using a vacmop before i was kind of skeptical and it would take me a while to clean my hardwood floors .. was kind of an event to say. Not anymore… thanks to this Tineco Floor One s5 Extreme i’m actually looking forward to do it now. I will attach some pictures to see what comes in the box and it’s pretty straight forward plug and play kind of situation as well with some before and after situation. Everything is very intuitive to use but you can check the book or type the name of it on youtube and they have an interactive video in how to use it for first time. It comes with 2 extra brushes and an extra filter that will come in handy when you’ll wash and let dry the ones that you’ll be using first(about 24hrs) they recommended doing that after each use and you’ll want to do that and don’t forget to empty the messy water each time so u prevent bad odors. The design and features are very modern … it has a voice and a screen that will assist you in your cleaning process. To be mentioned here is the feature that senses the proportion of a mess when on auto and turns gradually the blue light into a red one, sign that you should insist in that particular area till becomes completely blue and it’s scary accurate!!! The stand acts like a support and charger (which will take somewhere 3-4hrs for it to be fully juiced up). They also recommend using ONLY Tineco cleaning solution or just plain water. Make sure you youse warm-hot water with or without solution since will tackle the dirt better. I’m happy with the product and it really saves me a lot of time and does a great job!!!Denisik91
I totally underestimated this machine. When I turned it on, the brush kicked in and almost dragged me acoss the floor! Not really, but I was surprised by how powerful the brush was for such a compact package. This mop is no joke. I'm a busy and stressed-out professional, so lots of housekeeping chores don't get done on a regular basis. I've been meaning to clean the kitchen floor for quite a while — I had food and coffee spills, tracked mud, etc, on the floor in places, and serious grossness under the oven and fridge. I figured that I'd give this machine a workout. It really worked. It took several passes in some areas, but the machine just kept working at the mess until it was all clean. The dirty tank strains out the solid materials to make it easy to dump without clogging your sink. It also uses less water than I would expect, so I didn't have to dump the tank nearly as often as I thought I would have to. The clean tank and the dirty tank have good capacity. One super thoughtful little detail is that both tanks have flat bottoms, so they can be put upright on the counter, and you don't have to lean them against anything like you do with other wet vacuums. I really like how it is as maneuverable as a light vacuum, it does a great job on hard floors and we can also use it on floor mats that aren't too thick. That brush-forward design really gets right up to edges and corners. It is very user-friendly. The display is large, bright and useful, and the voice prompts are really helpful. Even self-cleaning is super easy. I'm just not sure what benefits you get from the app or its wifi connection.Snarltoof

Love this mop. Cleans carpets, windows, furniture, just think of what you could possibly clean. Believe it or not this mop with detachable handheld steamer will remove wrinkles before your eyes. BEST PART, it takes regular tap water. Awesome absolutely amazing tool. Comes with attachments. Clean grout, windows, baseboards, even removes paint mishaps from your wood floors, not floor finish. Talk about bare feet on a clean wood floor, Whoa baby! I never could get a shark to last over 1/2 a year if that. Sturdy and flexible and what a blessing!Grimm
u hust received this item today. I was excited to use it si ive only used this one time so far, on my hardwood floors. It heated up quickly and lasted longer than expected. It was able to get up some spots that regular swiffering or mopping couldnt get. I do not like how short the cord is. I dont have a large house and my stuck vacuum can be plugged in the center of the house and go everywhere. This steam mop have to be plug in two separate outlets, and would've been more if I did the whole house. Also i don't like that the plug can't be clipped on the cord to store. That seems like its just obvious for it to gave that little extra piece. Those are my reviews so far. I'll update if it warrants.Tracy
we moved homes and omg, when I say this, I mean it, but this is my absolute most favorite utility ever. the previous home owners weren't exactly the cleanest and this steam vacuum wasn't gonna take any of that. paint on the floor that even those industrial grade stain removers couldnt peel? no problem. sticky icky gooey set in mess on the counter? no problem. nasty stains in the bathtub? no problem. disgusting window stuff? consider it gone. cabinets dirty and messy? not anymore. this little tool has been phenomenal when it came to cleaning everything around the house, the house legitimately felt like it was brand new after we were done with rhis. btw for anyone wondering, I did all this by using the pressure attachment only on the steam vacuum, nothing else. while steaming the messy spots, I would rub it back and forth with the steam vacuums nozzle itselfShamim

My wife and i were totally happy and satisfied with your product ( the McMculloch canister steam system) We cleaned the kitchen sinks, the Granite counter tops, and ceramic floors in the kitchen and bathrooms. We also cleaned the sinks and showers and toilets. We were amazed with the results. Would I purchase this product again? Yes in a heart beat. Robert J. SmithRobert
I love this steam cleaner it makes cleaning so much easier and knowing I'm not using harsh chemicals makes me even happier. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is I wish the steam would last longer before having to refill. Otherwise it's a great cleaner. Every home needs onerobin.s

I love this steam mop. It is super easy to use and saves so much time. I have 5 cats and a dog, my floors get gross quickly and are very difficult to keep clean. This mop takes all the effort out of scrubbing the floor. What use to take almost an hour takes about 15 mins. The cord is super long and the steam mop is very sturdy but not to heavy. With the spin setting it basically walks on the floor all by itself. This has made my floors look great andy life so much easier. This is my 4th of 5 big shark item and I seriously love them all. Shark is such an innovative and dependable brand it's my new go to.Morganssss
I was so excited to unbox the Shark S7201 Steam & Scrub with Steam that I received in exchange for my use and honest review. It came very securely packed and all items were in perfect condition. A handy instruction booklet was included. I was happy to discover how easy this product is to use – the pads connect very easily and the Steam & Scrub is so easy to operate – just the touch of a finger and the pads do all the work for you. There is a Steam Blaster mode that makes hard-to-scrub spills come right up. My favorite thing about this product is that I can feel good about not having to use harsh chemicals on my floors – with pets this is a real concern. I highly recommend the Shark Steam & Scrub with Steam.gigdeb
I have owned a steam mop before but it just wasn't that great. It would move the dirt around. You really have to vacuum well before you use a steam mop because this does not actually pick up the loose dirt. It was easy to put together, however, when I was trying to turn it on the first time, it kept blinking. You need to pull back the handle for it to start. It uses distilled water to preserve the inside parts. The hot water will disinfect your floor but I also squirted a bit of cleaner on the floor after a pet accident. You should not add chemicals to the water reserve. Once turned on, it kind of moves itself around but it is not hard to pull back. I love that it has lights so you can see the dirt better. It has 4 pads, which I definitely need. I do pet sitting and my floors get filthy quickly so the added extra pads allow me to continue on instead of stopping to wash the pads. The water reserve is not large so you will have to add more water. I didn't see a notification light as to when the water is low, which would help. There may be one, but I didn't see it. This mop gets the job done quickly! And most importantly feels so nice on my feet after I am done. The rotating pads really do a good job. There is a steam button for heavily soiled spots. It did not get rid of some of the dried-up gook but I just took a sponge and scrubbed it a little. I like not having to use harmful chemicals to clean the floor and feel good using this around pets. The pads are easily washed in the washing machine and you can add bleach if they become stained. I have used this on both tile and laminate. I am extremely happy with this mop. It definitely beats using a regular mop.LoriH
8. Shark Steam & Scrub All-In-One Scrubbing And Sanitizing Hard Floor Steam Mop S7001

Product Details:
Reviews:
We have a few thousand square feet of glazed ceramic tile in our home, therefore we hoped that the Shark Steam & Scrub, Scrubbing and Sanitizing Steam Mop Model S7001 would be a new, better method of keeping those floors clean and sanitary. We have other Shark products which perform well, thus we had high expectations for the Steam & Scrub mop. My initial impressions are somewhat mixed, and somewhat less than we had hoped for. The Shark Steam & Scrub Steam Mop requires very minimal assembly. Snap in the upper handle and it is ready for the attachment of the scrubbing pads, filling with distilled water and almost immediate use. The Model S7001 has a few upgraded features as compared to the more basic Model S7000. The Shark Steam & Scrub uses two microfiber scrubbing pads, and comes with a total of four pads. The pads are composed of Polyester and Nylon which washes clean very easily, and should also be reasonably durable. Replacement pads are also available. The Steam & Scrub also comes with a plastic cup which Shark refers to as a filling “flask”, which is uniquely shaped to accommodate the narrow lid of the water tank. The cup holds approximately 8 ounces of water, and the water tank on the Shark Steam & Scrub has a capacity of approximately 16 ounces. I found that when operated primarily in the “Normal” cleaning mode, 16 ounces of distilled water provided approximately 30 minutes of steam operation. Shark recommends using only distilled water, which is clearly intended to prevent the formation of mineral scale deposits which would occlude the steam producing components. Shark does not approve of using any other fluids or chemicals in the water tank, including vinegar. Since vinegar cannot be used, the Shark cannot be readily descaled if mineral deposits resultant from using tap water were to clog the internal components. The supplied microfiber scrubbing pads are easily attached to the bottom of the unit. They are a large 7-¼” diameter which gives the Shark Steam & Scrub a wide cleaning path. The scrubbing pads have an integral donut shaped plastic ring with teeth that align with slots in the drive spindles. The attachment of the scrubbing pads to the spindles is completed with four Velcro pads. Even with the integral alignment aid, the scrubbing pads do not center absolutely perfectly, which results in minor oscillation of the mop head while in operation. The Shark Steam & Scrub is equipped with a very long power cord of over 22 feet, which is very convenient in reducing the necessity to unplug and reconnect at other electrical receptacles. There is cord storage on the handle, but there are no provisions for storage of the scrubbing pads. The unit is very lightweight, and subject to tipping over if left upright and unattended with the power cord dangling. The Steam & Scrub is rated at 1120 watts, which means that it is drawing 9.3 amperes of current. Resultantly, the electrical resistance potential of the long power cord can result in the cord and plug feeling slightly warm; but not dangerously hot. Preparing the Steam & Scrub for use simply required filling the water tank with about 16 ounces of distilled water utilizing the provided filling flask, attaching two microfiber scrubbing pads to the spindles, plugging the unit in and cycling the single control button on the front of the unit to the desired cleaning mode. Tilting the handle back towards the operator activates the motor which drives the rotating scrubbing pads. The Model S7001 has three Cleaning Modes, as compared to the two modes of the Model S7000. The Cleaning Modes are “Light”, “Normal” and “Deep”. The Model S7001 is differentiated by the addition of the Deep cleaning mode that the S7000 lacks. Both the amount of steam generated and the rotational speed of the scrubbing pads are controlled by each of the Cleaning Modes, with “Deep” cleaning mode producing the most steam (and consuming water fastest) and using the highest scrubbing speed. The Steam & Scrub carton label claims that the scrubbing pads rotate at 150 Revolutions Per Minute (RPM), presumably at top speed in Deep cleaning mode. The S7001 is also differentiated by its mop head having two, four LED “headlights” which are very effective. Shark also makes the product claim that the Steam & Scrub “Steam Sanitizes 99.9% Bacteria Removal”. It is important to understand the steam sanitization capabilities and procedures in order to evaluate whether or not the Steam & Scrub will meet user needs and expectations. The following is excerpted directly from the Shark Steam & Scrub User Manual, and explains how sanitization may be accomplished in actual use: TO SANITIZE*: 1 Attach clean Dirt Grip® Soft Scrub Pads to the scrubbing mop head. 2 Plug in the unit, tilt the mop handle down, and press the mode button to select the DEEP setting. The pads will then start spinning. 3 Wait 30 seconds for the unit to begin producing steam. 4 Start mopCurmudgeon1
The machine works as stated and I really liked it but it leaves terrible swirl and streak marks on the floor. If you have a small floor with no windows to shine across them you won’t notice. But if you have a long expansive hallway like mine you will. I used distilled water and cleaned the floor several times with fresh pads (8) just to be sure it wasn’t residual cleaning product from previous cleaners. Returning is becoming a nightmare! They want me to ship this one back to them and send me a new one. Like that will do anything but cost me time and aggravation. But here’s the kicker, you can’t get the handle back off to ship it back! The CS agent told me to get something bent just perfectly to fit behind the hook where the cord goes and stick it in there. Lol!!!! Even if I had this magic tool the pin is not visible to push it with. I currently await a call back because it ain’t happening. This is a huge pain!! I’m including pictures but it’s difficult to see in photos. They are much more prominent in person.Momof3
This Shark Steam and Scrub Steam Mop offers outstanding cleaning power and a lightweight, easy to handle design. The steering and maneuverability are remarkable, and make cleaning my hard floors as easy as can be. The smooth handling, low-profile design allows me to reach tight spaces around the house with ease. It is perfect for scrubbing big or small areas around the house. Even though it is compact and lightweight, I was quite impressed with how effective it is at cleaning and sanitizing hard floors. The cleaning method it uses is a combination of steam and rotating heavy-duty cleaning pads. I really like that after it is used, all that remains is a very slight dampness that quickly dries, unlike a traditional mop. It features 3 cleaning levels: Light, Normal, and Deep. Included is a water filling flask, and I was surprised by how little water it takes to fill the reservoir, and how long it lasted with the water tank filled. I used it on the Normal setting, and was able to clean my Master Bath, Home Office, and Living Room one one and half tanks of water. The water reservoir is very easy to fill because it takes so little water and thankfully there is no dirty water reservoir to drain. It feels very well built and is exactly what I would expect at this price point. The cleaning pads are suitably heavy duty, and I expect them to last quite awhile. Shark has included 2 extra cleaning pads, for a total of four in the package. The cleaning pads are washable, but what I have been doing is hand washing them with dish detergent. It features bright LED lights that are useful for illuminating hard to see areas. Another great feature is the 22 foot long power cord that minimizes the amount of times that I have to change outlets.Kotor

I bought this two months ago to replace my previous Shark steam mop (a different model), which my daughter "borrowed". I have also had other brands of steam mops in the past. I like that the water tank is removable and can be filled directly from the tap and there is not a little jug which needs to be stored somewhere. I like that it is light and relatively small and hence easy to store and carry. I also like that it stands up by itself. My previous mop had the flip over option and the cloth was like a pocket, with only one side open. Unfortunately it shrank on its first wash and never fitted properly again, often coming off mid-mopping (one of the reasons I did not press y daughter to return it), so I liked that this model's cloth attached differently. The bit I did not anticipate with this model was that whilst the cloths stays on fine when mopping hard floors, I cannot use it to steam clean carpets as the cloths sticks to the carpet in preference to the mop. I wish I had known this before buying this mop. This is the first steam mop I have had where you have to prime the pump to get the steam flowing. This requires you to pump the handle a few times. What the instructions do not say is that you have to continue the pumping action to keep the steam flowing. Now, this happens automatically as you are mopping the floor, but when you stop to move the mop around furniture (which most of us have on our floors) the steam stops and then you have to pump it several times to get it going again. Same issue if you want to hold the mop on a stain to give it a while to soften, steam flow stops. So, overall I would not rush to buy this model again, despite it having some good features.CN263
If you are looking for a small, steam mop that delivers big results, look no further! I decided going in, that this steam mop was going to just be mediocre. But, much to my surprise, cleaned like no one’s business! The little water basin could be a little larger, but it’s not a deal breaker imo. Once plugged in, expect to be ready to mop away in about 20-30 seconds. Yes, for once a product literally gives an accurate description. I use a spray bottle with 1-3 ratio of vinegar water and spray as I mop to give a little extra disinfectant. By the end of my clean, my washable reusable mop pad is filthy with yuck. Let me also state, I use my shark mop FIRST (vacuumChrista
The mop was super quick and easy to set up and the longer cable meant getting around large floors wasn’t such a task after all, I was reluctant to buy in favour of a cordless but couldn’t find one, I guess for electrical safety reasons these cannot be cordless. Plenty of steam, remember to do the pump action if you experience low steam with it. It takes me moments to go around and do all of our floors here, and the mop came with two pads so I’m not without if the other one hasn’t gone in with the mucky wash yet. The pad head itself twists around in movement so I can easily manoeuvre it down the sides of the toilet and any other skinny gap floor areas that fit. The price was competitive in the sale, and for something as good as this I would go as far as saying overall my purchase is outstanding. Highly recommend!Rachel

Reviews:
Purchased this product as an update to an original FloorMate, model # H2800, that I've had for many, many years. Have much more floor to wash now and am much older. Wanted the rotating spin-scrub brushes and the much larger wash solution tank which are an improvement over the original model. Am disappointed. The old FloorMate out-performs this newer model in the wet vacuum mode, by far, plus the newer model leaks significantly more wash solution than the older model when stationary. The tank is properly seated so that is not the problem. Thought for sure that Hoover would've gotten a handle on this issue on updated models. While the FloorMate remains a great concept, the performance of this new model is not acceptable to me. Will resort to using my original FloorMate and resign myself to filling the wash solution tank 8-10 times as opposed to 3 times but the flooring will be almost instantly dry. Will 'gift' my sister-in-law with this new model so she can wash her back porch floor with ease as she does not require the same level of almost instant dryness that I prefer.Reenie
This is my 4th floor mate, my last one the brush would not stay attached, This one I'm having a problem with the clear cover staying on. But all in all this is a good concept for cleaning and then rinsing the floor. I wash my floor and then suck up the water, then put clean water in the tank and re rinse the floor. I have 2 old doxie who pee, and this machine really helps with the clean up. I also use it on the rubber mats at my back door during the winter and rainy season. Until summer when I can take my mates outside for a go pressure washing. The company just needs to look at a better design for the brush and now the clear cover.LINDA
I bought this specifically to clean my laminate floors after a basement remodel that left a layer of Sheetrock dust is n the textured laminate. We scrubbed, mopped and everything else to try and clean the laminate, but couldn't get this layer of dirt off the floors. Bought this vac to try since we'd already tried everything else. Mixed the cleaner with a cap full of vinegar and tried an area. Couldn't believe the dirt I emptied out of the container after one pass. After this we decided to move all the furniture and do one whole room. Not only did it get all the dirt out of the distressed floors, it scrubbed the laminate back to looking new. We'll to say the least we ended up doing every room in the house because the dust had come up through all the vents. The heavy traffic areas we did twice and still were able to pull additional dirt off the floors. I read a lot of reviews and did a lot of research before buying and the main reason I decided on this one was because of the rotating brushes. They scrub the floors in both directions and suck up the water when pulling it back. I live this vac and have also used on my tile floors. It does not clean the grout, but I wouldn't expect it to, but does an amazing job on the tile. I will be making another quick pass to n all the floors again just to see how much additional dirt I can get off. Great purchase, don't be scared by the other reviews. The vac will leak a little when water is in the cleaning container and you leave it in one spot, so if storing with water in the tank, our a towel under it.Doug

The actual steam part works great, no doubt about that. I've tried it for cleaning and steaming clothes, but the unit can be clunky and awkward. The cord can be a problem simply because you have to be near an outlet all the time. The unit is not super steady and balanced, so it sometimes tipped over or tilted forward like it was going to fall. There was no way to tell how much water had been used up or when it was empty until it just stopped producing steam and then you'd have to wait several minutes before you could water in it again, so that was a little annoying. It's not a bad steamer, but it definitely has some design flaws.Kimmie
This is not much bigger than dollhouse furniture if you ask me. I bought this months ago and if I had actually taken it out to use it before now, I would have returned it. I had no idea the parts were this small! Good for cleaning very very small spaces! Couldn't handle the laundry area at all. Only good for maybe a sink. Not to mention almost gave my self third degree burns 10 minutes after letting it cool off. The top says 5 minutes. I normally love Bissell products but this one I am extremely disappointed with!Jessica38
Very Good product, only used it a couple of times so far on kitchen stove, stove hood grease and tile backsplash. Basically super heats the greasy material to make it easy to wipe or scrub off and loosen dirt and grime build up. I still chose to complete the task using a mild cleaner but it definitely made it easier and reduce the total cleaning time. We will see how the seals and plastic parts last over time but it seems solid and I'm a mechanical engineer who has designed plastic and metal parts my whole career. Only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is that it is cumbersome to use at times having to hold the tank in one hand depressing the steam button while scrubbing with the hose end in your other hand, then putting that end down to clean up the residue. A trigger built into the hose end that the attachments connect to would be a game changer freeing up the other hand.

Purchased this direct from Shark.com 2 weeks ago. The shipment arrived in 2 days, much faster than anticipated. The Steam Mop itself is great. Easy to put together and very light. We have all tile floors, so this is the best tool. After taking a few passes you can really see what a difference the steam mop makes. The detail and wand tool are great for showers. Have not tried the clothing tool but can tell from the fine steam that comes out, this is better than my clothing steamer. Highly recommend purchasing extra mop pads, as it is convenient to have another clean and dry one if you are covering a larger space.bobbie724
We purchased this pro model to replace our previous model which we had for over six years. I love these mops! This one spot cleans better than the normal model, and seems to throw more steam. I feel like I have to fill the reservoir more often, but the floors look cleaner, so I'm ok with that. Ive yet to try the attachments, but if they're anything like the previous model, they will be wonderful. I only regret that they didn't include the plastic ring to glide over rugs with the large mop. It was nice to steam clean smaller area rugs. It gave them a fresh look and cleaned them up in between deep cleaning.projectbronco
I love this steam mop. I use it 3-4 times a week on my tile, though sometimes more often. It is easy to use and a tank of water will clean my kitchen. Refilling is easy as is changing out pads. Buying multiple pads is a must. If you have a lot of tile I suggest having at least 6, and if you have a houseful of tile much more than that as you will want to change them often so you aren’t just spreading the dirt around. The pads do end up fairly stained, which is unfortunate but not a problem. I air dry them after washing in the machine. I wish this could go on vinyl plank, but after talking to a flooring expert it’s definitely for tile only. I don’t use the other attachments regularly, but they do work decently.Happywithcleanfloors

After failing over and over to get my whole main floor clean (luxury vinyl) I bought the SpinWave. No more bucket and mop. No more rinsing and rinsing. No more slopping water or water an solution. And my husband seems to get some sort of satisfaction from running it! I find I need 4 sets of pads to change out when one set gets dirty – maybe this is because I finally found a method to clean the floor that works and I have lots of work to do. I didn't get the battery powered one because I thought it ran down too quickly. The cord is easy to deal with. I wish there was a docking station of some sort to rest the spin mop in – give it even more stability. I recommend removing the pads after mopping rather than having the unit sit on flooring with wet pads.
I usually use a spray mop but it wasn’t getting the stuck on food from the floor. I’ve tried many other mops and nothing worked. This Bissel eventually gets the stuck on food off- you just have to keep the spin mop over the food for about 60 seconds. It’s better than getting on your hands and knees to scrape off the food. I didn’t notice much of a difference between the regular mop pads and the scrub ones. It feels like you’re operating a professional floor cleaner. I used an all purpose cleaner rather than the Bissel solution. It works well without their solution. I like that the water canister comes off completely and can be cleaned. I’ve used a steam mop of theirs in the past and it would get moldy because the canister couldn’t be removed. I’ll still keep my spray mop for quick messes. The Bissel takes longer to clean the whole floor but does a deeper clean.Sarah B
I bought the corded Spinwave because I needed extended time to clean hardwood floors after removing carpet. It did a great job removing built up padding print on the hardwood floor with the scrub pads. Then after drying, I used the soft pads to apply another hardwood cleaner to help the floors shine. I had to wash the scrub pads frequently because they lifted so much dirt from the floor. I also used it on my hardwood and it really made them shine. Plan to use on a couple more projects with hardwood floors that need some help. Definitely liked using hot water with cleaner as directed and no battery to recharge. Worked smoothly unless pads got off center. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I love the Shark Steam Pocket Mop. It was easy to assemble and did not require any tools. The directions are easy to follow and it comes with a measuring cup to make it easy to fill with distilled water. We filled it with water, plugged it in, waited 30-45 seconds, and began mopping. If you want more steam, just pump the handle a few times and it increases the amount of steam released. It works great around the stove to remove oil that splatters out of the pan. It is also great for use in the bathroom to disinfect the area around the toilet. It comes with two mop covers that are machine washable. We use it on our porcelain tile and hardwood floors and it works great. I wish it held more water so I did not have to refill it as often. It is small and lightweight but does a great job steaming the dirt and grime off our floors. I highly recommend the Shark Steam Pocket Mop!Joseph12
Right out of the box, this mop was easy to assemble and begin using. It is recommended that you only use distilled water in the mop. I used the mop on my tile floors and it was very easy to move around since it was so lightweight. It dries very quickly and cleans and sanitizes. I love that the cloth attachment comes off so easily and can be thrown in the washing machine. It would be nice if it were cordless/battery powered, but the cord is long enough that I was able to get around most of the house. I also wish it held a little more water so that it didn’t have to be refilled so frequently. Overall this is a great mop, is easy to use, and dries quickly without leaving a chemical smell or residue.sage33
We had two different inexpensive steam mops when we lived in the UK. They were easy to use and made cleaning up the kitchen or bathroom a breeze. They last longer if you use distilled water because it was eventually the hard water that built up in the first one that it quit steaming after 3-4 years of steady use. When we returned to the US, I bought this one based on the good reviews. It came with two washable pads which is convenient and you can use either side for cleaning. However, I was disappointed to find after buying it that the pumping action is necessary to produce the steam. This means when you are trying to push it or pull it across the floor, a lot of the energy you put in results in the handle going inward instead of the mop moving. This makes it much more laborsome to mop and makes for a sore arm. This was annoying at first but after a few month it stopped producing much (or any steam) and instead drips water on the floor behind it. So now we basically have a $60 piece of junk as it doesn't steam.Ticket to Ride fans

I bought a Bissell crosswave cordless max last year for Christmas because this was sold out. Originally I wanted this I did a lot of research and thought the Tineco one was far more advanced considering they had come out at the same time. My Bissell broke and again it hasn't even been a year I did not buy the warranty for it because I thought it would at least last a year. But I decided I'd buy my original choice and I'm far from disappointed. The issues I had with the Bissell I don't with this. Bissell was bad at streaking and would leave a puddle of water behind the brush roller was so soft it wouldn't pick up dried messes larger food bits would be pushed in front of the Bissell instead of being picked up. The Tineco one is streak free has a studier brush roller that makes picks up dried messes easily it is an auto mode machine so it distributes water and detects water never leaves a puddle behind large food objects like dog kibble gets picked up easily. I have a fairly high number of animals and a senior dog who doesn't have 100% bladder control so these machines are used day in day out. I recommend this to anyone its perfect for everyday use light to heavy messes.Alysun Lusty
I chose this thanks to the Vacuum Wars youtube channel. We used to have a Bissell Crosswave but it didn't last long at all. It started to smell pretty quickly and got clogged a lot (dog hair gang!) I assumed it was our habits so we bought a second one and the same thing happened again, even with more vacuuming and better Crosswave cleaning habits. This time I decided the extra money would be worth it and so far it definitely has been! The only con so far: the clean water tank really should be larger. We have a medium house, nothing large or fancy, and we can't even get through a full room (kitchen especially) without refilling the tank.Cam
Overall: I really love it! Easy to use, quick and sufficient; Great for daily use & for family with pet. I do list detailed limitations below but it solves my biggest problem (a quick daily cleanning) so I am still happy. Pros: – Battery is sufficient for 800-900 sq.ft – Capture pet (cat) hair, dust, and small trash on floor; great for daily clean; – Its design makes it easy to move; – Less noisy compared to Roomba/regular vacuum (but still not quite; just relatively quieter) ; Limitations: – The clean water tank is kind of small; requires refill if you use max clean mode or have a slower cleanning process; For dirty water tank, it's enough for cleanning process but usually require to dump all dirty water before its self-clean (so it does not over the dirty water limit) – It has clean gap (about 3cm/1.2 in) on the edge that its brush cannot reach so cannot work for near kitchen cabinet cleanning; also its wide brush design makes it hard to go into corners near toilet; – Its brush is designed not to hurt flooring which means it also cannot do deep cleanning (e.g. clean out stains on tile grout) – Cleaning dirty water tank can be nasty if you have pet and long hair;Ali

Bought this on Saturday as I have a new dog that has had a few accidents in the house, on the carpet of course! I was shocked at how quiet this machine is, no need for ear protection to use this. Has great suction power and leaves very little moisture behind, carpet dried completely in about 2 hours. Easy to clean when finished. Love the hose cleaning attachment. I added white vinegar to the final rinse when cleaning out the machine. Machine keeps the solution warm while working. Easy to set up, easy to use, and easy to clean and put away. The engineers did a great job designing this machine. Can't go wrong with a Bissell!
Works pretty decent but the heating element seems a little weak, needs an option to just heat w/o running the vacuum so you're not stuck listening to it while it warms. Would have been nice if it came w/a small separate brush for tight spaces. Suction could be a little better but overall not bad. The hose needs to be an inch longer, it's a stretch to get the head to wrap around and mount in it's holder. Did a pretty good job, although required a bunch of passes, cleaning old dirty seats in an old project car. I legit thought they were gray for the last 2.5 yrs I've owned it…
I have used this to clean wine stains and dog potty accidents. This is excellent at cleaning wine stains but I did not feel like it really penetrated down to the urine stain left by my dog. I even used the PET PRO OXY Spot & Stain Formula for Portable Carpet Cleaners and still noticed a faint urine stain afterward. I had to use a different product altogether to clean this. I am disappointed as the dog messes are the primary reason I purchased this product. Otherwise, this is easy to use and easy to clean.

I bought this item after being a continuous swiffer wet jet user. Every time a new version would come out, I'd buy the newest one. And this was a great item, for the amount of time it lasted.. I used it for about 7 months & the trigger pulley for the steam boost broke off down inside the stick. And the way it is designed makes it impossible to fix or replace just the broken part, as there are no parts available for this issue. The trigger actually engages & connects all the way down the entire stick, which is completely enclosed, so even if it just slipped off the hook inside, you still have a useless steam boost that still works, heats up & comes on, but because you have to pull the trigger, to engage the steam whenever you need it, you basically have a steam mop that's warmed & ready, but with no way to use it. I do have to say though, I am a mother of 6 children, and this thing would clean up even the stickiest of messes!! It would make the entire house smell wonderful (I always bought the gain scent) & I always know that the germs are being killed wherever I mop! And, even though it's so much more convenient & sanitary than reusable mopping pads, these steam boost pads can get quite expensive if your entire house is all hard flooring. But it was well worth it to me not having to worry about washing my mop pads every single day & having to wash it by hand if it gets dirty before I'm done mopping. But at the same time, even though they can get expensive, 1 mop pad does quite a large area. And it's better for me to know that my mop pad I just used in the bathroom, isn't being used in the kitchen, etc. I just toss the germs in the trash can, along with my worries of cross-contamination! So yes, even though the trigger mechanism broke rather quickly on my unit, I still got tons of use out of it & I'm actually shopping for a new steam boost right now to replace my broken one. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, just go easy on the steam boost trigger, and try not to just 'let it go' when you are disengaging the trigger as I believe this made it wear out & eventually break the inner mechanism much faster. Also, the kids will fight over 'who gets to mop'!! It heats up in about 30 seconds & it was well-worth the price. I just hope they fix the design-flaw of the trigger, so it's not totally enclosed inside the stick. Or, they start offering a part to fix this flaw. I am buying it for my 2nd time & would again because I certainly got my money's worth of cleaning out of it! It's lightweight, easy to get out & put up, heats up quickly, has a convenient hanging hook, and it cleans awesome!!Jessers320
My Wife and daughter love this steam mop however, we are on our third one (4th if you include my daughter). We bought our first a few years ago. After using it for a few months, we bought a second one for the upstairs so my wife would not have to carry it up and down the stairs. At the same time we bought one for my daughter. It was not long before the trigger on the first one broke. Perhaps a year and a half or so… So my wife reverted to carrying the newer one up and down the stairs again. Within the year the trigger on the second one broke and when my wife told my daughter about it my daughter said something to the effect of "Oh yeah, mine broke too. I forgot to tell you. We waited a while and then I bought another one for my wife. The trigger on this one just broke. So 4 have broken in as many years. The reality is that its more coast effective for me to just buy another one than to spend my time complaining to the company. Enough however, is enough. you need to be made aware,YET AGAIN, that you have a defective design. GREAT PRODUCT but with a defect. Every time it's the same thing, the steam trigger breaks. I have taken it apart and have determined that the 2 plastic nubs on the side of the trigger which hold the trigger into the fulcrum of the pivot inside of he handle have broken off. There is also another plastic catch which has two sides to it and one of those sides had broken off. I have read enough of these reviews to have been made aware that this is a known issue with this model and that MANY other people have experienced the EXACT SAME issue. Might I suggest that if Bissell intends to continue to market this model, that you simply re-design your trigger and make it in Metal and while you are at it, put a trigger lock on it. At the very least, make the trigger out of metal.Eric
This is my second time with this particular steam mop. The first time about 4 to 6 months after purchase the steam mop would not stay straight it kept twisting and turning and was difficult to maneuver. I liked this mop because it steamed and smelled very nice and floors looked clean and shiny. However, I decided to get a new one. I've had this one for about 4 yrs and only use it ocassionally. Well sadly the trigger handle snapped as the two tiny plastic pieces that hold it in place broke off of the trigger handle so now when I squeeze the connection cannot be made for the steam to be released. When I opened it I saw the cheap plastic and two little tiny bits that broke off so I figured I would go on line and find the part replacement at Bissell. Unfortunately, this part and NO other parts for this steam mop are manufactured for replacement. I think when you sell a product with cheap parts that are easily broken you should at least manufacture replacement parts because it is very likely they are going to break easily and you are going to have some very unhappy consumers. As much as I used to like this product when I bought first one, after the second time around I am convienced that I will NOT be purchasing this product nor recommending it to anyone :(. Very dissatisfied when I called and was told they are sorry they have no replacement (s) for this product. My Advice: DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON ITEMS THAT ARE MADE WITH CHeAP PLASTIC PARTS (especially when there are no replacements 🙁Miss Valentina

This product is great. It puts the Shark steam cleaner to shame. Its very powerful and last quite a long time on just a cup of water. It will give you about 15-20 minutes of continuous usage. However, if you press the trigger sporadically, it can last about 30-45 minutes. The steam blast is loud and packs a punch. I use this thing to clean and sanitize everything from my bathroom to the kitchen (always sanitize the nozzle with bleach or alcohol after use to avoid cross contamination). Another great feature is all the attachments it comes with so you can steam clean almost anything. My only issue is the quality of some of the attachment. The small brushes and scrub pads aren't really reusable. After the first usage, they start to fall apart, especially the scrub pads which are excellent for cleaning your tub and tile. You can buy more attachments online, but its kind expensive costing 10 for 5. One reason I switched to steam cleaning was to save money on cleaning solutions, but if I have to constantly buy the attachments, eventually it will work out to cost more than the cleaning solutions. But I recently used the steamer to clean this very disgusting fridge in the apartment Im renting. The steamer blast through all the filth, chocolate syrup, spilled soda, and other unknown substances with extreme ease.Monster_Review
I bought this tool to clean 1/2 grout tile floor grout. It worked great for the first 10 minutes, and it would great for the process, except it is not designed properly. I has a special small nozzle head, upon which small brush attachments are placed. There are three pieces, brush, nozzle, and nozzle attachment (to hook to hose or hose extension). The nozzle is made of thermoplastic, like the rest of the unit, except the pressure chamber cap, which is brass. The nozzle needed to be made of brass as well. The thermoplastic heats up, and a threaded piece (with o-ring) when at temperature cannot handle GENTLE scrubbing with the brush. (e.g. for the purpose it is made.) The nozzle fitting jumps the threads every time, once it heats up. So the unit is only good to use for about 10 minutes, before the nozzle gets soft from heat, and falls off constantly. If they made the nozzle out of brass, and the end piece (nozzle attach) out of metal, it would work great. But they didn't, so it is pure frustration to CONSTANTLY put the nozzle on again, and again, and again. This gets 1 star. It works great for 10 minutes, then its useless. If used with the larger attachments, it would probably be a great value; but I need it to clean grout. It says it cleans grout, but it really doesn't.MesaGuy
I've only used the MC1275 once to clean shower floor tile grout using the scrub pad attachment. I filled the steam chamber one time with distilled water, and the steam was ready in approximately 5 minutes. It was easy to control, but did a marginal job restoring the whiteness of the grout. The scrub pad itself came loose and separated completely from its plastic base in under 10 minutes. While the steamer worked as advertised, steaming cleaning the grout didn't live up to my expectations, and the scrub pad's durability was a major disappointment. The good – it produced steam reliably; control is easy to maintain. The bad – the scrub pad is virtually useless for scrubbing applications; steam alone will not magically clean discolored tile grout.beforemytime
