Always sweep up any dust and dirt before spraying. Works best to spray in small areas then mop. Bruce cleaner leaves the floor with a nice finish shine and no leftover residue. Recently we ran out of the Bona Hard-Surface Floor Cleaner and happened to get the new and improved version. Don't waste your money! It streaks and leaves a sticky film and the With the new and improved formula, the floor is no longer shiny. It is now dull and shows prints. The old stuff worked great! With the new and improved formula you are to use a damp mop which gets the floor too wet no matter how much you wring out the Bona microfiber mop, plus it still leaves the floor dull, streaked and sticky. I bought this cleaner to clean my tile floors because my understanding is that it’s a neutral cleaner. When the professional floor cleaning company came out to clean them, he showed me a crazy amount of film he had to work to get up. This is the only cleaner I use. I sprayed it on, dry mopped it like it says in the instructions and the resulting floor was embarrassing. I always have this at home because I want to keep our floor clean, I usually just clean the house on weekends but when I discovered this product, I'm cleaning more often because I am really pleased with the results. I bought a Bissell crosswave cordless max last year for Christmas because this was sold out. Originally I wanted this I did a lot of research and thought the Tineco one was far more advanced considering they had come out at the same time. My Bissell broke and again it hasn't even been a year I did not buy the warranty for it because I thought it would at least last a year. But I decided I'd buy my original choice and I'm far from disappointed. The issues I had with the Bissell I don't with this. Bissell was bad at streaking and would leave a puddle of water behind the brush roller was so soft it wouldn't pick up dried messes larger food bits would be pushed in front of the Bissell instead of being picked up. The Tineco one is streak free has a studier brush roller that makes picks up dried messes easily it is an auto mode machine so it distributes water and detects water never leaves a puddle behind large food objects like dog kibble gets picked up easily. I have a fairly high number of animals and a senior dog who doesn't have 100% bladder control so these machines are used day in day out. I recommend this to anyone its perfect for everyday use light to heavy messes.Alysun Lusty
I chose this thanks to the Vacuum Wars youtube channel. We used to have a Bissell Crosswave but it didn't last long at all. It started to smell pretty quickly and got clogged a lot (dog hair gang!) I assumed it was our habits so we bought a second one and the same thing happened again, even with more vacuuming and better Crosswave cleaning habits. This time I decided the extra money would be worth it and so far it definitely has been! The only con so far: the clean water tank really should be larger. We have a medium house, nothing large or fancy, and we can't even get through a full room (kitchen especially) without refilling the tank.Cam

Bona is the absolute best for cleaning hardwoods. I have 2 young children and a dog and all i have to do is spray this stuff, let it sit a minute, then mop it up. I use the mop system with the sprayer and microfiber cloth. It worked great for awhile but then the sprayer stopped working so i no longer buy the cartridges. My wood laminate was dull and whitish matt for some reason when we installed it and finished all the decor. No matter how much I'll mop the floors it just had this whitish look, though laminate itself did have a little bit of shine before we laid it. I tried this product and it did make it glossy and eliminated that white shade. I used microfiber mop to spread it and it did the justice to my floor. Looks good. Don't know how long the shining will last yet as just did this today, but there's still left for couple more times. The only thing that I did not like was the smell of it. All day it is hanging in the room and open windows did not help much.jollier13
Love this product so far! My husband put down a coat of the Floor Restorer about 2 months ago ( only after using the Rejuvenate Daily Floor Cleaner). It has held up well on our new floors. We have a 1 year old black lab puppy, two cats and a whirlwind of a toddler all over these floors, all the time. I just cleaned the floor with the Rejuvenate Daily Cleaner and put another coat of the Rejuvenate All Floor Restorer over where my husband did a spot two months ago, you can barely tell where he did his spot before, it looks so shiny and uniform, and we aren't slipping on it constantly. It's kept our new floor nice and scratch free. In our kitchen, it's been down for two months also, I couldn't get a good picture, but it wears down to what the floor looked like before we applied the Restorer to it. I highly recommend this product, just follow directions carefully and use the Rejuvenate Daily Cleaner on it beforehand. On a side note, to do a quick clean I use the Great Value Wet Mopping Cloths on it a few times a week, and it doesn't seem to affect how quickly the finish wears at all. The only thing that seems to affect the wear of the All Floor Restorer is how often foot traffic goes over certain areas. The pictures below are in the living room, I have to do it in sections so I took a picture of where I stopped with the All Floor Restorer, so you can see the difference between the floor before and after. Also, my cats decided they were going to walk over where I applied the Floor Restorer about 10 minutes after I was done, and they didn't leave footprints. I used this product on my ceramic tile floors. It was a disaster. After a couple of weeks, I noticed, spots that looked dirty. I mopped and mopped, but this mess would not come off. I had to get down on my knees to try to scrape it off. I finally used Goo-Gone paint remover and it took the spots and stains right off. I’ve used Bona for over twenty years and have always been happy with it. I bought the refill and used it to do my family room, the last room I had to do for this time. I now have an ugly film that shows marks and has no shine whatsoever. I can definitely see where I used the old I had and the new I just purchased. In our new house we have wood laminate flooring in the living, dining, kitchen, and halls. We did a lot of research on the best way to keep them looking their best. We found out a lot of the products claiming to be the best for this type of flooring, actually makes them cloudy and discolored looking. When that happens, you have to strip the floor, reseal it, and then the floor is never the same. After reading customer reviews and manufacturers reviews, we decided to try the Bona since we are elderly and don’t want to have to strip the floor. I got this for my wood laminate floors at home. I mixed some with warm water in a bucket and used it on my floors. It worked great! They were cleaner and there was no strong chemical smell. I have used this on the hardwood floors in my upper level, which are Acacia wood,and on the floors on the main level of my home, where the wood is oak. It is very effective, but what I like best is that there is not a strong smell and it is ready-to-use. You don't have to mix it with water and then wonder if you got the ratio correct. This is my 2nd machine. I love the ease of using it, as it doesn't hurt my back like mopping with a large mop however it has its drawbacks. I have multiple large dogs and a family that is in the landscaping business so we always have dirt and mud being tracked in. My kitchen floor is vinyl tile and white so everything is easily noticed. The first one I bought lasted about 8 months and then a piece broke off where the water is sucked into so I had to quit using. I bought the 2nd one and made sure to take extra care but I'm experiencing what many on here have stated. It takes me 3 tanks do to my kitchen which is about 300 sq ft. Because I have to go over each area multiple times. Ii don't mind doing this but it's a lit of starts and stops to get the floor cleaned. However once it's done it looks great. I wish there was a way that you could make the brushes scrub harder for the tough spots, and maybe add a heater to keep the water hot so the floor would be cleaned faster. Also because of its size you can't get into the hard to reach places and you would still have to mop those areas. I will continue to use my machine until it breaks down but hopefully their will be improvement soon. Lastly as everyone has stated the machine does leave water trails especially when standing still, I have just learned to clean those up as I go and when I'm done I have to papertowel the last spot to soak up the water.Colleen
I was expecting great things from this particular PowerDash product. But after reading the reviews, it was true, the vacuum didn't pick up the water left on the floor as I was expecting. I called customer service and she said to add some water in the collecting tank but it still didn't pick up much water. I miss the Floormate (sold out). I will wait for that. I like Hoover products. I realize people can be very harsh and critical and say don't buy this but you gain even better ideas from their comments. I don't expect a miracle from any machine. I can't expect a product to miraculously clean the grout of the tile. It's really a blessing that companies such as yours can give us an easier way of living. I had a floormate for 15 years that needed to be replaced. I purchased the PoweDash Hard Floor cleaner in May 2022 The new machine was flimsy and inferior design from the old machine from the onset. Less than six months later, it no longer works. The machine stopped dispersing the liquid onto the floor. My husband, a mechanical engineer, evaluated the machine with no success. I contacted Bed Bath and Beyond and I was instructed to call the manufacturer. That was done and three days later there is still no callback from the message left. Save your money and the headache. Always trusted Weidman products on my floors but thought I'd experiment with this product on my stainless refrigerator door and BOY WAS I SURPRISED!!! What a shine!! Of course it never really dried on the metal so you have to wear gloves now when opening the refrigerator door. Still, you can't beat the shine!! I am considering trying this on my Mustang GT. I have hardwood floors. When they were laid, the individual pieces were already finished. Bona products (which I'd used with great results on a floor that was laid ""bare"" and finished on site) did not work well. So I tired Weiman's. I recommend it highly. The Cleaner picked up dirt, but I also used the shine product with GREAT results. I recommend both products for best results. I wondered what mop to use and ended up using a Swiffer DRY mop but putting microfiber cloths onto it. Worked well. Then I washed the microfibre cloths right away.D.

I’ve actually been using this for years before I discovered Grove. I have a house full of antique hardwood floors, so not sealed. I use the Bona mop system for daily cleaning because it was recommended by flooring experts. But, when a deeper cleaning is needed, that product falls short. Method floor cleaner for wood has enough safe, gentle surfactants to get the floor really clean, especially if there’s a really dirty spot or some mysterious sticky spill. The almond scent is not overpowering. It’s not my favorite scent. But, it’s not objectionable. I do truly wish Method made refills since the plastic squirt bottle would be easily reusable. I haven’t found any better product on the market than this one, including all brands. I highly recommend this.Catherine D.

When I lived in a house with almost all hardwood floors there was a lot of sweeping and mopping involved to keep them looking good. As a fan of method products and environmentally-friendly items in general I immediately bought and started using method's Almond Squirt and Mop Hardwood Floor cleaner in conjunction with their now-defunct O-Mop. Yes this squirt and mop liquid was environmentally friendly and smelled lovely. Yes it was easy enough to find at the local Target and even in some grocery stores. That being said it was good really only for a quick touch-up or spot-clean. I still had to get on my hands and knees with a cloth to remove any type of dried stain. It also didn't leave the floors with any type of long-lasting shine like Murphy's Oil Soap did. Eventually I stopped buying this method hardwood floor cleaner and returned to Murphy's Oil Soap.
