Pros: – Tremendous sound quality. – Highly effective noise-cancelling. – Reliable Bluetooth connectivity. – Simple and intuitive user interface. – Comfortable and ergonomic ear-buds/ear loops. – Unobtrusive and non-distracting to wear. Con: – Extremely poor quality adhesive used on plastic button cover (see first image). – Details: I've had both versions of these headphones: this mode (the 350), and its less-sporty cousin, the 300. Both models of these headphones are fantastic at fulfilling their purpose. For both music, video, and phone calls, the sound is clear and suitably loud. The earbuds are some of the most comfortable I've ever had the pleasure of wearing, and extremely effective at noise-cancelling. They're lightweight and subtle, they stand up to sweat and exercise routines, and they're simple to pair and operate. However. As great as these headphones are, they do not stand the test of time. After approximately six months of daily usage (no stress-tests), I ran into the exact same problem with both models: the adhesive for the thin plastic button-cover eventually loses its potency and falls off, no matter how gingerly you treat it. When this happens, there is only one way that you can turn the headphones on; and that's by using a slender object with a fine point to press the power button (you can still adjust volume with the device that the headphones are connected to). This strategy will only last you for a couple months, however, as repeated depressing of the switch eventually erodes the switch until it is non-functional. I'd like to reiterate that this is not an isolated incident: this has happened with two similar models of the same style and design of headset. These headphones are great, don't get me wrong. But they seem to fill a niche reserved for occasional usage. Daily usage will quickly wear them out and render them unusable after less than a year. Warranty may allow you to replace your worn out headset, but if you are somebody that uses your headset every day, you'll find yourself running into this same problem. Recommendation: These headphones are great if you use intend to use them occasionally. However, the efficacy of the adhesive will eventually wear out, and they'll quickly become a nuisance to activate and deactivate before eventually giving up the ghost. For $75 USD, they are not a long-term investment.Byron

Below is my evaluation and review of the Plantronics Backbeat FIT 350 earbud headset. I would like to indicate that my opinions contained in this review are strictly mine and were not influenced by Plantronics. The Backbeat product arrived in a beautifully package consisting of an attractive outer sleeve and is a tight fit with an internal “box”, not cardboard, but “paperfoam”, so it should be more earth friendly. The box contains the Plantronics Backbeat FIT 350, instruction and disclaimer paperwork, and a small black cloth satchel. The box is well- formed to package their internal contents, just mentioned. The product paperwork and satchel are packaged within a black cardboard wrapper which folds over and encompasses the paperwork and satchel. It seems to be a pretty innovative and an attractive way to package the aforementioned contents. The black cloth satchel, when removed from the cardboard wrapper and unfolded, reveals that the satchel is a small bag with a very nice drawstring. This allows the bag to be closed. The drawstring is an elastic string, with a plastic retainer on the end serving as both a pull handle, and as a clip to keep the drawstring drawn, thereby closing the satchel bag. The satchel bag itself seems to be a pretty high quality cloth bag as well. It practice, this satchel is to serve to contain and protect the headset. Contained within the satchel are a short USB cord, used for charging the Plantronics, and small plastic bag containing a small and a large set of earpieces for matching the Plantronics headset to different user ear sizes, should the medium earpiece set, installed on the Plantronics not fit. The Plantronics Backbeat FIT 350 earbud device: Well made. The earpieces are made of a soft silicone and seems to seal the ear openings in a comfortable way. The loops help to keep the earpieces in the ear. The wire connecting the 2 earpieces to the control unit, I am pleased to report seems to be pretty robust and should wear well. Other earbuds, use think electrical wiring with just plastic insulation, and tends to break either at the loop, or where it enters the control unit. The Plantronics uses a cloth sleeve with the electrical wiring inside and I believe this should reduce the chance of wire breaks. Also, the wiring has a small clip which can be used to clip the earbuds to a shirt collar, offering some protection should the earbuds fall off the ears, though it is probably unlikely. When playing music, the sound quality appears to be good, though I think it tends to be more skewed to the higher frequencies, more base is needed. When used to receive phone calls, I find that the sound appears to be low in volume. The volume has to be turned up quite high on the phone to acceptable hear the person on the other end of the call. Other, earphone pieces I have, as the Plantronics Voyager 5200 have better volume compared to this device. I have not had a chance to test the earbuds when making phone calls in a windy or noisy environment. I suspect, the microphone would pick up the noise. The Voyager 5200 is specifically designed to filter them the noise, so I expect the Backbeat FIT 350 to not perform as well. But, for music, I think this earbud is pretty good. The negative I have is that the instructions should be better written. There are features which should be explained for those who may not have used wireless earbuds before. Overall, however, the Plantronics Backbeat FIT 350 is a quality earbud and should provide the user with excellent service for quite some time.Don L

I purchased this product from the Walmart app and was very disappointed when it arrived. I did not arrive in it's original packaging, but in a zip lock baggie so it obviously had already been returned. I charged it and the battery only worked for 15 minutes before dying and won't hold a charge. Obviously, this product was already returned to the store as defective and Walmart resold it to me. Not pleased. Waste of my time and money! If Walmart had sent me a working product, I'd be able to have a better gage for a more positive review. I bought these about 6 weeks ago. They work well so far… charge easily, paired easily with my iPhone, easy to control while wearing it. They don't fare so well when listening to music – they just don't compare to a good set of in or on-ear phones. My concern is the vibration that is felt with certain frequencies and at higher volumes. The vibrating part of the device sits really close to, if not directly on, the joint that opens and closes the jaw (temporomandibular joint or TMJ). There is a decent amount of research showing that prolonged exposure to vibration can cause various joint and/or soft tissue problems. That said, I've found no research looking specifically at this kind of headphone and it's potential impact on TMJ function. However, as an orthopaedic clinician, I'm familiar with the seriousness of TMJ dysfunction and would suggest that people use these headphones cautiously until more is known about their possible impacts on the TMJ. TMJ pathology is tremendously debilitating and very difficult to resolve; it would be awful to have developed such problems simply because we chose to use a device like this. Again, I don't believe there is any existing research showing a link between bone conduction headphones and TMJ pathology. This concern is based solely on my understanding of TMJ pathology, and the fact that in other joints of the body, prolonged exposure to vibration frequently causes important problems.Rick

I got these for Christmas and I am so happy with them!! I have very sensitive ears, or maybe it’s just that the ear canal is too small, but both the wireless Apple airpod pros and the Bose wireless earpods hurt my ears to where I just could not use them. These don’t go in you ear, but rather transmits sound through the bone outside of your ear. I know it sounds weird, but it works super well. They don’t hurt at all and the sound is great. They stay in place really well, even when I’m exercising and they don’t bother me.rachel.t

I have had these for a little over a week now. Quality is what you would expect from a Plantronics product. The sound is great along with the Bluetooth range. Where these headphones stand out for me from other Plantronics headphones is the user interface on the right ear piece. The ease of pause, play, track skipping and volume is so much easier than the buttons from older units. The ability to change the amount ambient noise that you get is very helpful too. Comfort level for me is better than other units because the Ear cups are large enough to not contact my ears. Although they don’t not have active noise canceling i used them to watch Netflix on my iPad on a flight from Atlanta to Las Vegas and did not miss the feature. I didn’t need to max the volume out and was able to hear my iPad without trouble. Battery life is plenty. I never have an issue with needing charging throughout a day.ATCSUPGORE

I am overall satisfied as I can listen to music on the background, especially while cycling, without compromising my safety. Not to mention, in many countries it is actually illegal to have headphones covering your ears while cycling. In indoor scenarios, I can have them on and playing at moderate volumes, while carrying out conversations normally. Since I got them, many of my friends were curious about them so I let them try them out. Here's the collective feedback: – Fit isn't even close to snug. Even the mini version that I have hangs about an inch away from the back of my head, with the only contact points right around my ears. – Sound quality is poorer in comparison to similarly priced conventional headphones – The microphone works great indoors, but quite bad outdoors on the move. There are strong wind noises reported from the other end of the call. – The control button doesn't have a great feeling or feedback. It's low profile and has very little range of the click, oftentimes leaving me with a click and a miss instead of a double click, or even with a long click. It's worse when moving around, which is the main use case for these headphones. Also, when this happens when trying to double click in succession to skip a few songs, you may end up pausing the music with a click+miss and then redialling the last number with a double click. – Great battery life! Feels even longer than advertised. – Excellent range So overall, I'd give them a 4/5 because of the innovative underlying idea. These headphones are good – glad I bought them at the recommendation of a friend. In full disclosure, I don't really use them for their intended purpose (running). I needed to replace my headset for video conferences at work and wanted something small/discreet, lightweight, and with a decent battery life…these fit the bill. Pros: – battery life – I'm on MS Teams calls all day long (6-7 hours/day) and these can make it through on a fresh charge. If I do have to charge during the day, they top up pretty quickly (seems to be less than 30 minutes for a full charge) – very lightweight and comfortable to wear* – the mic seems to work well according to my coworkers & clients – discreet – small enough to be barely noticeable on video calls – neat little feature is the voice that tells you "charge me" when the battery gets very low (but it can startle you the first time the voice randomly speaks to you without prompting) – relatively easy Bluetooth pairing** and controls Cons: – *comfortable…to a point, that is. Not sure that they were intended for my extended usage but they do feel like they're pinching right in front of your ear after several hours. I end up feeling a fatigue similar to clenching your jaw too hard or for too long and wonder if that's the fit or a side effect of the bone conduction – **only pairs with one device at a time so you have to go through full pairing process again if, for example, you want to switch from your laptop to your phone – might be unique to my use case but these get in the way of using the headrest on my office chair. The loop between earpieces lays right where your head meets the headrest…can be pushed down but that moves the earpieces and reduces sound quality since it's not "bone conducting" properly (if that makes sense) – sound quality is "meh" to me (I typically use Pixel Buds II with my phone which has much better bass & depth of sound). I bought these after borrowing my partner's Aeropex for over a year. I was surprised to see that Aftershokz was now just Shokz, the aeropex are now called "openrun". I assumed it was just a name change and ordered my pair, excited to have my own. I was so disappointed when I first used these headphones- although they look almost exactly the same, you can tell they changed something about them. We did a blind sound test with the Openrun and previous Aeropex and both my partner and I could tell which ones were the Openrun. The sound quality is a little worse, not super noticeable but once I realized they sound more muffled I can't unhear it. The main annoyance is when the volume is turned up high (not all the way, anything over around 75%), the headphones vibrate a little bit. Specifically the part distributing the sound right outside your ear, so it's just a constant tickle that can be so annoying. I love some things about the headphones, they allow me to listen to music/podcasts and hear my surroundings, which has been helpful in all sorts of situations. This version also charges a lot faster than the prior, but they also seem to run through battery faster. I used to charge the Aeropex maybe once/week with regular use, but I have to charge the Openrun every 1-2 days. It's not a huge deal since they charge so quickly, but something to keep in mind depending on your use. Ultimately I don't think I'd repurchase. It feels like the company changed the quality while hiding behind a "new and improved" battery, which feels gross and exploitive. They're pretty expensive for the issues that come with it. I bought the headphones since the were promoted with "Premium Sound Quality" and compatibility with Mac. Unfortunately, there are two very disappointing showstoppers (in a nutshell version): – the headphone mutes automatically when connecting to the mac (mitigation described below) – the headphone mutes itself in the middle of calls spontaneously (mitigation described below) – the audio quality is really sub-standard when using the mic (Shokz know, but not interested/able to fix it) — Long version: Muting when connecting to Mac: An "Aggregation Device" with the openrun pro >mic< needs to be created in the "Audio Midi Setup". This will mitigate the issue. Random Muting Issue: The Shokz support pointed me to a 3rd party chrome plugin which disables the "automatic gain control" in chrome. Unfortunately, not every application provides such an option, so the random muting continues when using these applications. Search for "Disable Automatic Gain Control" by Joey Watts in the Chrome Web Store. Audio Quality: After several rounds with the Shokz support I got now a mail saying that they are aware about the audio issues with MacBooks but not interested or able to fix it. If i'd like to use the headset it with a Mac and want to have better audio quality, I'd should go and buy another of their headphones – the OpenComm UC. This comes with an USB plug, which is not acceptable when buying a bluetooth headset. It's 2022, not 1990. A macbook air comes with 2 usb ports, and I'm not going to block one of them permanently to use a bluetooth headset. If you manually select the laptops built-in mic, the audio quality "magically" becomes good. So it's simply a bug they're declining to fix.lukas

The concept of bone conduction hearing is probably only familiar to those that have had a recent hearing test. When that part of the test is performed you can actually hear the test tones with your inner ear through bone conduction. So this concept is not a gimmick and it actually works. I was quite surprised when I experienced it for the first time and I never knew that it was even possible. These headphones take that concept to a new level and instead of hearing test tones you can actually hear your favorite music or audio programming instead. The advantage being, that you have a way of listening to your favorite audio as well as what is going on around you simultaneously. In effect, technically, your ears become a two channel audio mixer with audio perceived from the normal way, through the ear canal into the ear drum as one audio channel and the audio perceived through bone conduction through to the inner ear as the second audio channel. So what does all of this get you? Probably for the first time in your life you can have your cake and eat it too. You can hear your favorite audio programming almost like background music while being able to hear everything else going on around you at the same time. This cumulative effect may take a little getting used to, especially if you have never experienced anything like it before, but the acclimation process is quick and you will get used to hearing two different and separate audio sources in no time at all. So, if you are in a situation where you need to pay attention to the sounds around you but also want to hear your favorite jam at the same time without losing one or the other, then these are the headphones for you!Anthony P.

In terms of sound: these are crystal clear when listening to music. I rarely use the voice mode because I don't know that it changes it much and the music mode actually sounds better to me even for podcasts and such. Obviously they are not going to be super immersive sound but they are well balanced and have a pretty hefty sound considering how they work. Connectivity: works great for my phone! I have a microsoft surface (which has its own issues) and they aren't the best with that. The sound comes out a bit tin-y and the volume is weird to control. Not sure if it's a problem with the surface, Zoom, or the headphones. But it still works for my work from home set up and I love using them for zoom meetings so I can hear what's happening in the house and also walk away from my computer if needed. The multi-point connection hasn't really worked for me but that also may be a problem with my computer. Comfort: I have the mini ones and they fit pretty perfectly. There is still room along the back of the head (sometimes this affects my hair and wearing higher coats but it's not horrible). They do move around a bit if I'm eating or bending over but not enough to fully knock them off or anything. I would suggest starting slow when listening using these. They are weird at first and they give my head a little bit of a buzzy, headache-y feeling if I wear them too long. Charging is quick and easy. The buttons and commands are simple and easy to remember. The microphone is great! My coworkers said it sounds better than any of the other microphones I've used. Answering calls is easy and clear too! I called someone in Costco and we could hear each other just fine. Overall, definitely worth the money!Jamie N.

LOVE these earbuds!! LOVE!! I have been searching for 2 months for the right style and fit. I have purchased, and returned, numerous earbuds from other manufacturers. Typically the earbud style will not stay in my ear. They will pop out in a matter of minutes regardless of what size bud I use. Therefore, I need the hoop that goes up and over the ear. I found other options with the hoop, but they did not stay in or on my ear. I had to mess with them all day. These are perfect!! I put them on and don't have to worry about them at all!! I wear them for 6 to 7 hours straight with no issues. The piece that goes up and around your ear is pliable, so that you can fit to your ear. However, once you bend to your ear, it keeps that shape while you're wearing them. Others I have tried are too flimsy and do not stay in place. They also do not cause any inner ear tenderness from wearing them so long. Sound quality is superb! The small carry case is the perfect size to fit in a purse pocket or even just your pant pocket. I bought these headphones because they said they were water proof/sweat proof. And they absolutely are! Im on the treadmill at the gym for 90 minutes a day. Sweat just seems to pour off my head and face. These headphones get drenched everytime and there still going strong! They dont fall off either because of the small hook that wraps around each ear. I would have been happy with just an average sounding headphone that could hold up to my profuse sweating, but these sound fantastic! Better than my over the ear full size JBL stereo headphones. You can control the volume and answer phone calls with 3 easy to use buttons on the right earpiece. I haven't tried going 9 hours without a charge yet. I usually give them a full charge every couple of days. I have a Moto G Force Smart Phone that the blue tooth picked these up almost immediately. There's no having to mess around trying to get my phone to connect to the headphones every time i work out. They came with a sharp looking circular soft zipper case and a variety of replacement earbuds. I have to say for the price i paid, about 40 bucks, these are a great deal for sure. They definitely exceeded my expectations by far! I definitely recommend these, whether you use them for working out or want a replacement for your current set of phones.Jimmy

This is the third pair of headphones from Treblab I've bought – needless to say I have been pleased with them in the past. I've had XR100, XR500, and am now enjoying these XR800s. Contrary to other reviewers opinions, I've been completely satisfied with the battery life – they actually do give me 8-9 hours on a full charge. The sound quality is very good (IMO XR500s were a little better). And I find these to be a little more comfortable than the past ones. If you think you won't like wire-joined left and right, you probably won't like 'em; but I was mainly looking for battery life and good sound (media and phone), and I think these are the tops – I'm used to and don't notice the cord.DrDon

I already have a pair of traditional wired ATH-M50X but decided to treat myself to the bluetooth version. They are basically the same headphone I already have, but without a cord. They do come with a cord, but it is quite short and isn't coiled. They come with a USB charging cord that is VERY short at about 14 inches. I find this a little too short, but it gets the job done. The instructions were a little TOO simple and consisted of just images and very little text. It was enough to get me started, but there was no information for any sort of troubleshooting. As this is my first bluetooth device, a little more information would have been helpful. The problem I had was once I connected with the transmitter that connects to my 'legacy' equipment, that was the sole device the headphone wanted to connect to. It took a little fiddling around to figure out how to get the headphone to connect to my laptop and cell phone. It would have been nice to have troubleshooting instructions. All that being said, the headphones sound as great as the wired version. I haven't had any problems with interference or a dropped signal. My house isn't very big so I can't really get out of range without going outside which I haven't tried yet to see how far the signal reaches. Great Headphones!!Nancy

When I first put them on I did not like how hard they clamped down on my ears and head. My ears are a bit sensitive to pressure and after wearing my Beats for an hour, my right ear often hurts. The Bose QC45s are so comfortable and sound really good. The ATs don't have all the features… I decide to try cranking the volume. Wow the ATs sound amazing at higher volume levels! The Bose and my corded Sony MDR-7506 start to sound harsh while the AT's just get better. I am very curious if the extra pressure squeezing my head has a positive effect on the sound? I do not mind the pressure on my ears as much as I expected. These have twice the battery life of the Bose and sound better, yes please.Coder J

I use these on my android phone wirelessly (bluetooth) and with my linux computer wired directly through the motherboard line out for pc games, youtube, music, and disneyplus. I also use them wired into a surface go reformatted with ubuntu 22.04. Got them to work with bluetooth with the linux desktop computer but I don't actually have the SMA antennae attached to it so it is not really a fair test. (it is laggy, but it did connect and produce sound) They work great anywhere they are wired and wirelessly on android with wired connections sounding better. I don't really use windows often so can't comment on that at this time. I'm not an audiophile, but the audio sounds crisp with nice bass when watching movies with special effects. Music also sounds crisp and precise. They do fit fairly snugly but feel comfortable on the ears and are well made. I previously owned a pair of klipsch reference but these seem slightly better built. I consider them an upgrade in build and sound quality.Robert

This my second pair. My first pair was damaged, when not in use. They were 3 years old, and used 5-7 days a week 3-10 hours a day. If they were not accidentally damaged I would not have needed a new pair. But when I did. I never hesitated to go right back to what works so well for me. To add to this story. My co-worker has gone through 5 different kinds. In the past 3 years. She was never going to buy another pair. This past April I bought her a pair for her birthday. She is equally as happy with hers as I am with mine. She now also puts hers to use nearly every day, several hours a day.Michael

These phones check all of the right boxes but don't live up to what I was hoping for. I really liked that these were rated for hearing protection, and I wanted the "aware" listen-through feature. Unfortunately, I think I'm going to continue on in my search for the right product. After using these headphones daily for a week, here are my observations. The aware listen-through is considerably louder than real life. It brings the noise floor way up, and I don't like that. The default setting is 3 notches above off, and even the lowest setting is louder than real life. I wish that the whole adjustable range for the aware feature was between 0 and 1, not higher. I don't want them to amplify everything, I just want a natural, transparent experience that's the same as not wearing anything. This makes conversation at a natural volume awkward and difficult. The equivalent acoustic distance of this effect is also distracting. Fans in the background, air filters, etc (all things that I've tried to make quieter) all sound closer and louder than I want them to be. Turning the unit on, and the beep tone when you turn them off is louder than I like. This is super subjective and almost unfair to even include in a review, but if you were watching TV and heard the same beep at the same perceived volume, you'd be startled and instinctively reach for the remote to turn it down. This level does not seem to be adjustable. The next thing I noticed is that there is no memory between uses. After I have the aware volume bumped down to 1, the next time I turn the set on, it's at 3 again and I have to turn the volume back down. This means I'll have to fiddle with them every single time I turn them on. It adds a step to the process, and that's something that inevitably makes me avoid a particular piece of PPE. The next interesting bit that I encountered was while using a pad sander. The volume of the sander was perfectly at the level of where these phones start to attenuate for hearing protection, and as a result, I could hear a fluttering, ticking kind of noise as the hearing protection was turning on and off several times per second. I actually thought something was wrong with my tool's motor at first. It seems that the attack and decay thresholds for the hearing protection are set at the exact same level, and that causes this indecisiveness. It would be nice if the hearing protection either remained on for a reasonable hold-time or didn't turn off until a lower point in the sound's decay. They could also fade to off instead of instantly switching to zero. That would smooth things out and keep them from turning on and off constantly. The hearing protection's attack threshold is not adjustable. When I turn on my dust collector, it's still loud to me. Louder than without hearing protection, actually, because of the aware feature running so hot. I really wish that this threshold was adjustable because that's one of the fatiguing sounds that I was really hoping to drown out in my shop. Some of the product descriptions need more detail. It was unclear to me whether these headphones would function as a headset for two-way Bluetooth communication or not. The only mention of microphones that I could find were in the aware and hearing protection descriptions. I believe the only mention of headset, two-way, duplex, or call functionality like I was looking for was in the Rockler email blast and not on the product page or manufacturer's site. They're also listed as "magnetic earbuds" with no explanation. Transducers are magnetic – radio waves are magnetic. Well, it turns out that the earbuds have a little flat spot on them, and they snap together when you take them out so that they don't fall off your neck. It would be nice if snapping them together would pause your music, mute the mic in a call, etc. but they do not. Chalk up another feature request. I did not have luck pairing these headphones with my computer for Zoom. I tried on two different laptops, unpaired, re-paired, paired as the first and second device, both at the same time, restarted everything, checked for driver updates, etc. (I work in IT) and I just couldn't make them go. Another note on Bluetooth is that the headphones announce each time you've connected or disconnected to a device. This means that if you pair them with a laptop in your garage, and then walk away, you get a connection/disconnection announcement, and a second one when you return, and that gets old fast. The announcement is louder than I'd choose, which also doesn't seem to be optional or adjustable. The last bit that seems worth sharing is that with earbuds wired like this, the tops of your ears get busy with PPE really fast. Wearing these with a pair of safety glasses is awkward. Adding dust protection or any kind of a respirator would be difficult. I would have never thought of this before, but if you wear glasses or use dust protection that hooks around your ears, keep this in mind.Jim

First these are NOT noise canceling earphones using active noise cancelation. They are standard earphones that just provide noise blocking by the fact they fit tight in the ear. I had difficulty putting them on in order to achieve any significant sound isolation. They were not comfortable. The sound quality is abysmal. A pair of cheap foam ear inserts can provide the same level of noise isolation. Cannot recommend.gcevans02

I bought these not knowing too much about them. I've had the beats earphones before, but got uncomfortable after a few hours of having them in your ear. So I bought the solo 2 because they are affordable compared to $300 or more for the new models. But I can see after using the solo 2's that I'm sure they are worth the money. I'm very pleased with the sound. These babies cook! No distortion and acceptional bass no mater what volume. I make hay in the summer and that's the reason I decided to try these out because earphones just aren't loud enough when your behind a 451 cube naughty old diesel case tractor with a new holland 271 bailing singing away also. I can finally hear the music over the noice with more volume to spare. I would recommend these headphones to anyone looking for good quality sound, wireless, and long battery life. Beats. Who needs em? At least thats what I thought until a dead pair came my way. I was pleased enough to go chasing another pair for the Mrs. sure a good pair of Bose or Sennheiser will sound better but cost much more and to be fair, pushing 50 my ears arent what they were 25yrs ago so its ok going audiophile but spend too much and you quickly become audiofool! Nice design, pretty sturdy build, reasonably lightweight but band prone to moving about on top of your head a bit. Remote with built in mike is handy but cord feels slightly flimsy. Plugs on these seem a particular weakness and prone to snapping. Not a problem to myself, have soldering iron will fettle. Overall Im most happy with mine, they carry a decent base without getting ruffled, have decent top end, are well weighted and defined and are a massive step up from Apples earbuds which they have replaced.stcommsuk

I purchased these Beats EP wired headphones almost over a year ago. At the time, these were one of the cheaper models you could buy. I unfortunately did not do any research or look up reviews before purchasing them. I wish I had. It states on the package that they are lightweight, comfortable, comes with a carrying case, adjustable earcups, control music with remote touch and you can manage calls with remote touch technology. Unfortunately I don't own the right kind of phone for the remote touch to work properly. I have an android S9. This is compatible with iPhones. I still can hook it up to my phone and listen to music, I just can't control it with the remote or the phone call option. Yes you can adjust the strap, but it does not fit as tight as I would of expected it to fit on me. I personally do not think these headphones are comfortable. Definitely not noise canceling either. The main issue I have with these Beats EP is the cord. It is not wireless, and there is no easy way to store them without the chance of damaging the cord. When I looked up reviews, one of the biggest downfall was how the cord would break off. Yes it comes with its own carrying case, but if I were to bring these to work, I wouldn't be able to store them in my backpack, purse or bag without worrying that I might break it. The sound overall is the best feature on these headphones. The quality of the sound is very powerful and loud. You really hear every beat and all the bass. I love that about these Beats EP headphones. If I were to purchase Beats again, I would definitely spend a little more money and upgrade to the wireless options. Amazing headsets overall! When my loyal Logitech h390 headsets died after 8 years of faithful service I found myself trying to replace them. That took me into a 2 year adventure in which I tried new office Logitech, gaming Logitech, regular priced and very expensive Sony, regular priced and very expensive Jabra and even some Oodo. I tried $100 headsets as well as $ 500 headsets and even tougth the sound quality was good there was always something that didn't quite work well: battery life, the bluetooth not binding correctly to more than one device, quality of the mic, etc etc etc. I had settled from some Jabra a few months back but got the chance to try this Bose for a couple of weeks and oh boy was I glad! I returned the test Bose to my friend and immediately got this one for myself. Battery life is amazing, easily 3 to 4 days of using the headsets for both music and zoom calls for more than 8 hours a day. The boom mic works really well but I'm extremely happy to say its not needed as the built in mic works really well too. They are comfortable to weark, fold really well and are very lightweight. I highly recommend this product to all that would listen to me.Marcos

The good – The headset is super comfortable and the soft ear cushions do a great job of sealing around the ears. – The ANR noise reduction is even more effective than I expected. Listening to videos, movies, or TV with ANR makes everything so much easier to understand. The Not So Good: – The Bose connect app is way better than nothing, but it frequently says it cannot find the headset and sometimes fails to properly switch the active BT link when there are more than 2 paired. – The headset works really well to Bluetooth connect to devices like a phone or laptop where you can initiate the connection on the phone/laptop, but it is very difficult to pair with "blind" devices like the Bluetooth transmitter I have on my TV. The guidance providing for pairing to BT devices never mentions how you accomplish this pairing. – When I first received my QC35 II headset a few weeks ago, I was able to pair to the Bluetooth transmitter on the TV, but since then the headset has stopped working with that device and all my attempts at restoring that pairing, including removing all the paired devices and starting over, have failed. Meanwhile, the Bluetooth headset of another brand I have used with the TV transmitter for over 5 yrs, still works perfectly. – The headset works really well with 2 paired connections (laptop and phone), but when you are able to add a 3rd paired device (e.g. TV), it becomes unreliable in switching to that device either through the phone app or using the headset switch. I have given up trying to use the QC35 II with the TV transmitter, and instead just use my old Bluetooth headset with the TV (sigh), and use the QC35 II only with my phone and laptop.Steve

It's nice to be un-tethered to my laptop… It's liberating to walk from my office to the kitchen and even bathroom while still listening to some interview or conference call with mic on mute. That liberty makes me wonder what took me so long to finally purchase this.. While on the phone and unplugged, there is a high frequency hiss from the microphone which is a little annoying… however I can hear my self very well to the slightest detail and the person on the other end can hear me very well also.. And of course I can hear the person much better than my entry level Sony smart phone headphones. And let me tell you, the fact that I can be more present and hear my dad more clearly on a phone call whilst doing yoga is just priceless. It used to be that holding the phone up to the ear resulted in short conversations… Then headphones changed the game and made it more enjoyable and now these Bose headphones just upped the game to the point where I could listen to someone with more intention and attention. This is gold! Whilst in wireless phone call mode, you are not in noise reduction mode.. In fact you hear your surroundings clearly. I wish Bose gave you the option to customize the EQ of the mics.. That would help a lot. The other option is to use the stereo 1/8" to 1/16" adapter cable for the phone calls… this allows for noise reduction capabilities I think… one definitely doesn't hear the mic hiss like when in wireless mode. The noise reduction while listening to audio from the laptop can be disorientating at times…. it's amazing how for granted we take the basic association of the noise from things shuffling around as you move them. It's mostly the lower frequencies that get filtered out, and a lot of it has to do with how well the ear cup contacts around the ear and insulates exterior sound. Due to the disorientation factor I'm still deciding the right time and place for this device. However the fact that there's less noise makes it for a much better listening experience. To my surprise the headphones will auto shut-off if there is no audio playing from a connected device. This can be annoying if you're scrolling through social media and only engage a video's audio every once in a while. I honestly thought these would give me the option to just use the noise canceling feature all by it self so I can work in silence, but that is not so (unless I haven't figured it out yet). When I connected to my laptop which is exactly 40" from the headphones and then also connected to the cell phone 24" away and started a phone call, a wave of nausea hit me, which is a key indicator of 2.4GHz over exposure. I also have a bluetooth keyboard and trackpad which doesn't help with the EMI toxicity exposure issues. So now I just keep my tethered Sony headphones connected to the phone while I'm sitting at my office…. kind of silly to be shuffling around between headphones still, but the fact is I'm just very aware of the 2.4GHz exposure symptoms and have to keep it at a minimum. I've been exposed to a lot of EMI in my little electronics workshop and can tell you if it's too much.. It primarily manifests as slight nausea and then just loss of focus and lack of energy. It's important to be aware of this if one is to voluntarily add more EMI sources around their head. So far the Bose headphones by them selves are okay (tolerable) for radio emissions. The biggest plus with these headphones was that I can hear my dad better and feel like I'm right in the same room while on the phone. I purchased these in 2018 after some close calls on my bike, not hearing traffic around me. In short, I love them and still use them nearly everyday for bike riding (indoor training or outdoor), working in the garage while my kids are playing, listening to podcasts, … For louder activities (e.g. mowing the lawn, using the table saw), I use earplugs and pause if needed for a few seconds. Speaking of which, the big button on the side is perfect to pause/play/skip tracks when I have gloves on or need to pause quickly to listen to kids, talk to my wife, etc. At some point (maybe 6months?) one ear began to rattle. But I was able to return through the warranty, no trouble at all. AfterShokz Support was beyond helpful and kind. The 2nd pair has had no problems after nearly 2 years. Sound is not as good as over-the-ear or in-ear headphones, but (1) I don't need that all the time, and (2) I am worried about protecting my hearing for the long-term. If I had to note a drawback it would be the big bad around the back — wish it could tighten/resize a little. But I've gotten used to it over time and I only notice it now when I'm wearing something with a high collar. I highly recommend these for outdoor activities, listening to music/podcasts when you still need to be available to someone (e.g. kids, coworkers), and for saving your ears for years!Jason O.

I love the earplugs. They work well for sound protection. They protect my ears, but still allow me to hear and communicate with co-workers when I'm not using bluetooth. Bluetooth works well and the controls on the headphones are intuitive and easy to use. Very easy to set up with all my devices – phone, TV, laptop. My only complaint is with the foamies. I apparently have really small ear canals. The XS foamies still hurt my ears. I wish there was a smaller size or that they were tapered for more comfort. My husband has a different brand of noise cancelling earplugs with foamies that are tapered, and made with a very comfortable material – closer to the material used for disposable foam earplugs – so the foam stays compressed long enough to comfortably insert the plugs. I purchased these recently, as I do yard work several days a week with mowers and line trimmers and needed some ear protection that was compatible with a brimmed hat, which ruled out traditional earmuffs. The noise protection is phenomenal – even with a gas-powered leaf blower going full tilt, it's only a background hum, and the music is still crisp and clear. Sound quality is excellent – the slightly boosted bass is just right, prevalent but not overbearing or muddy, and the mids and trebles are reproduced well. The only slight niggle is the fact that I need to push the silicone buds back in to reseat them from time to time, but that's a very minor gripe compared to the upsides. I only wish I'd ordered these earlier, and if anything ever happens to this pair, I'll be ordering another set straight away!Dan P.

I’ve had these headphones for several months now, and they’re still as good as the day I got them. I wasn’t looking for anything fancy, just functional and affordable, which they definitely are. I had a problem with skull candy headphones breaking on me (I went through 4 or 5 pairs in a year) but these feel super sturdy. The sound quality and noise blocking is excellent, and I love having co trip buttons on the phones themselves. My complaints are on the microphone, when I try to have a phone conversation, I get told I pick up a lot of background noise or that I sound like I’m going through a tunnel. also, the low battery notification is way too frequent and irregular. Sometimes it will notify you every 30 seconds, or 2 minutes… either way, having a song interrupted multiple times to tell me something I’m already aware of is irritating.RayBird440

Good detailed sound, cuts out external noise when listening, battery lasts forever, charges quickly, quick and good bluetooth connection, stay connected over distances and through walls. I don't want to keep a phone next to my head for long periods of time or really at all, so I use these most often to talk on the phone or when listening to my recordings, environment must be quiet for microphone input to be good, not silent, not noisy. I don't have to keep them connected for calls, connection takes only a few seconds. I got them for $20 but I'd say they could sell for $40-$50. Only complaint is personal, it's not quite comfortable for my ears, maybe my ears are big or awkward shaped, or I'm wearing them wrong with bad placement, but I can keep them on for a few hours, rest for 10 minutes then put them back on. I've never been one to spend over $50 on headphones and these were just short of that. My ears don't work well w/ in-ear options either so I took a chance on the JLab Audio Bluetooth headphones. I even bought the accidental coverage because I know how clumsy I can be. Pros: – easy to connect and rename on my mobile device – the audio quality between lows, mids and highs are pretty impressive. – the headphones have never been so loud to blow out my ears. – grips to my head pretty well without concern of slipping while I walk, jog, hike, row machine, stationary bike and even when I'm doing boxing basics. – Accidental coverage: I did need to use it and it was completely worth it that I bought it again on my next set. Mainly you pay the accidental cost which was in the low $10-$15's if I recall correctly. Totally worth it! No hassle, most stores have an abundance of these, and I walked out w/ a new one. – My son and daughter kept stealing it from me as it works great on their school Zoom meetings and school laptops. Wired headphones… way more affordable, yes, but these are actual just as ideal for my kids (even for P.E.) – With COVID I work remotely… with these headphones we aren't competing in audio volume and during my work and school hours… we just have to worry about our speaking volume. Cons: – not sure why but audio from my MacPro or HP Laptop are never clean. I actually owned the earlier cheaper/discontinued model before it broke and never had poor Windows/Mac audio. – it's fragile… I'm clumsy and with very low impact and the right angle… it landed perfectly on the ground affecting the volume buttons. I attempted to fix it myself, opened the headphone housing itself and discovered it was far too damaged. I previously owned a version of the BackBeat FIT headphones. Loved them! Actually two pairs of them (lost the first one). I was concerned this version might not be as good, given the reviews I read here. Sadly, my concerns were realized. I've now had these headphones for exactly one year. I'll start with the things that I really like about them. I use them both with my phone (Samsung S9) and with my Garmin 645 Music running watch. They can pair with both devices very easily and with updated firmware on the watch can control the volume as well. The sound is good but not very strong in the bass. This is due to the fact that they do not seal into the ear, which is a good thing. I like to be able to hear my surroundings, and these do a fine job with that. Often, when I encounter other runners, they seem surprised that I can hear them despite obviously having headphones on. Their range is adequate but could be better. With my Garmin watch, the watch must be worn on the right wrist as the receiver for these phones is in the right ear and the Garmin music watches are known for being weak bluetooth transmitters. However, with the watch on the right wrist, they rarely have any drop outs. They are very comfortable and never once have I had any concerns that they may fall out. I have noticed that the reflective material on the band seems to be wearing off, but I have not shined a light on to see how well they actually reflect. Since I do run at times in the dark, I like that they have the reflective material on the band. I have them for one year almost exactly to the day. Unfortunately, they have been getting progressively more difficult to get them to charge, as if the connector is failing. Now, I can not get them to charge at all.Morven

I use this headset on a daily basis for jogging for an hour a day and this every single day. I like the fact it s proofed for sweat and humidity, and it is an open headset that keeps you aware of you surroundings what really important is for safety while jogging! For that I am satisfied. BUT I am to say that I am very disappointed by this new 2100 model. -Big issues with the battery, frequently not loading while plugged for hours! even though the charging LED is on -the battery drops down frequently, Nothing more annoying than confidently charging it for hours to have it shut down after 5min of run! -commands are not well designed, volume handling is not responsive -sound was clearer on previous versions, especially voice over Prior to this I had: the 3models from plantronics: BackBeat GO2, and Back beat Fit both first and second version! So I know what I am talking about in terms of regression here. And yes, its firmware is up to date, reset has been performed several times, full resynch and all and it's handled with care. And I had no solution offered by the customer service. I used to praised the back beat fit, but not anymore. The Shokz OpenRun Pro! Pretty good pair of headphones for anyone that isn't into noise-cancelling headphones and wants to also hear ambient noise. Having owned two other pairs, the AfterShokz Aeropex & Aeropex Mini, I definitely love the OpenRun Pro headphones. When it comes to audio quality, it isn't audiophile grade like my Audio-Technica R70x open back cans. However, sound quality is very good and comes through easily in low noise environments. If you are outdoors or in noisier environments, you'll have to bump the volume a bit higher. One thing I loved about the OpenRun Pro vs the Aeropex & Aeropex Mini is that when listening at higher volumes, the OpenRun Pros produces less haptic vibrations and isn't as hard on my tragus (outer ear), meanwhile the quality isn't sacrificed. Battery life is great, and I got quite close to the 10 hours listed. Standby time is also great, as I was able to go 2 days listening to ~4.5 hours of music each day. Wearing these while being active is no issue. I've worn these while playing tennis and running, and they stay in place very well. The fit on the OpenRun Pro is also quite nice, and I didn't have to stretch them out on my yoga block like I did with my Aeropex & Aeropex Mini. The weight is also unnoticeable, and there wasn't any ear fatigue I experienced. I am able to wear these all day without having any issues regardless of what I'm doing. The only thing I would nag about is that the OpenRun Pros don't have next/previous controls. Having used Shokz/AfterShokz headphones for quite some time now, was hoping this newer iteration of their bone conduction headphones would provide that functionality. The inconvenience of having to go for my phone/tablet to change tracks gets quite irritating 🙁 Though the OpenRun Pros lack certain playback controls, it is still quite a great pair of headphones. I bought the headphones since the were promoted with "Premium Sound Quality" and compatibility with Mac. Unfortunately, there are two very disappointing showstoppers (in a nutshell version): – the headphone mutes automatically when connecting to the mac (mitigation described below) – the headphone mutes itself in the middle of calls spontaneously (mitigation described below) – the audio quality is really sub-standard when using the mic (Shokz know, but not interested/able to fix it) — Long version: Muting when connecting to Mac: An "Aggregation Device" with the openrun pro >mic< needs to be created in the "Audio Midi Setup". This will mitigate the issue. Random Muting Issue: The Shokz support pointed me to a 3rd party chrome plugin which disables the "automatic gain control" in chrome. Unfortunately, not every application provides such an option, so the random muting continues when using these applications. Search for "Disable Automatic Gain Control" by Joey Watts in the Chrome Web Store. Audio Quality: After several rounds with the Shokz support I got now a mail saying that they are aware about the audio issues with MacBooks but not interested or able to fix it. If i'd like to use the headset it with a Mac and want to have better audio quality, I'd should go and buy another of their headphones – the OpenComm UC. This comes with an USB plug, which is not acceptable when buying a bluetooth headset. It's 2022, not 1990. A macbook air comes with 2 usb ports, and I'm not going to block one of them permanently to use a bluetooth headset. If you manually select the laptops built-in mic, the audio quality "magically" becomes good. So it's simply a bug they're declining to fix.lukas

These Shokz OpenRun Pro Bluetooth headphones have a lot of fantastic features, but I’d wager they’re really limited to some specific use conditions. They are not great everywhere, but do excel in certain circumstances. Out of the box, the headphones have a nice storage case with a molded insert, they’re lightweight (29g), and quick and easy to get turned on and paired to your mobile device (Bluetooth 5.1). To pair, just hold the volume up (+ button) for 6 second. You’ll hear voice prompts on the headset. The charging cable is only about 2ft long, is pretty thin, and is a proprietary magnetic connection, so be sure to keep track of it otherwise you’ll struggle attempting to charge them. While charging, the led on the side of the headset is red, once fully charged it will switch to blue. The Shokz app found and connected to the headset without issue and gave some easier ways to adjust equalizer settings if you didn’t like using the buttons on the headset. There are 2 EQ settings in the application: Vocal and Standard. The Standard setting was pretty balanced for general audio, perfect for music. The vocal setting boosts some of the higher frequencies and is great for phone calls or podcasts. On Standard EQ setting, music was balanced, but flat. There is more bass in this model which is an improvement over some of the previous models, but the bass is clearer on these. If you turn the volume up too much on bass heavy music, I find the headset almost tickles me and I don’t like it. The biggest caveat: little to no privacy. Anyone with in several feet of you can hear the music you’re listening to or hear the voices on your phone call. The high frequency audio comes out of the normal speaker directed at your ear, only the lower frequencies are actually bone conduction. While this is great for running as you can blast music while still hearing your surroundings, it’s not great if you’re looking for privacy in what you’re listening to. If you listened quiet enough and had more of a cubicle or office setup at work, you could get away with no one hearing what you’re listening to, but if you’re in a shared flex space, the noise will bother others. Overall, from previous models, these have enhanced bass, better battery life, easier to use controls, and a quick charge feature (5 minute for 1.5 hours of usage). They’re also IP55 rated to protect against sweat, splashes, and raindrops. If you need a pair better suited for worse conditions than that, Shokz also makes a IP67 rated model (regular OpenRun), or even a fully submersible IP68 rated model with onboard storage for swimming (OpenSwim). If you don’t need those features, you want the latest bone conduction technology, and you’re an avid runner or sports athlete that likes to hear your surroundings, these are a fantastic purchase.stangapds

I talk on the phone a lot during work, and listen to audiobooks/podcasts while I'm not on the phone. I also cannot stand having things inside my ears, not only is it uncomfortable but I also prefer having situational awareness of what's going on around me. For my use case, there isn't anything else out there that can hold a candle to these, literally nothing else comes close. Given they do not actually go in my ears, they are incredibly comfortable. I can wear them all day and most of the time I actually forget I'm wearing them. There have actually been quite a few instances where I spent 30+ minutes frantically looking for them, only to discover they were on my head the whole time (while my co-workers look at me like I was an idiot and laughed amongst themselves). I have been an aftershockz/shockz user since the first iteration, and these leave the first generation aftershockz in the dust. The only disappointment from this company was the OpenComm, which do not play nice with any apple device (constant stuttering audio). The mini size is just icing on the cake, as the regular size always left a giant band around the back of my head. The mini size fits me perfectly with very little room between my head and the band. Shockz has documentation and a printable tool to determine if the mini's are the right size for you on their website. These aren't audiophile headphones and they aren't for everyone, if you want good sounding music, then look elsewhere. For podcasts, audiobooks, and phone calls; these are beyond amazing.EnormousSnail

First of all, I'd like to say that when I bought this product, I kept in mind the wireless ability, noise cancelling feature, price, then quality, in that order. It does not come with a bag or anything to hold it, so if you're looking to have something to put it in for carrying, you'll have to get that separately. I bought a wireless bluetooth adapter to plug into my laptop, and while the sound won't go through thick walls or around corners easily, I'm plenty happy to have it at maximum quality while I'm in my room.2. Sound Quality 7/10 – They have average sound quality. It doesn't get too bassy, and it's not too rough on the higher frequencies. I've used these headphones for some music mastering and they do an okay job (they pass on music editing but they're not that great), but they should be perfectly fine for casual use. There is a slight decrease in performance when the noise cancelling is turned on but it's not that noticeable to me. By using the cable that comes with the device, you can get a wired connection. I haven't noted any significant increase in performance by wiring it up though, and the microUSB – USB that comes enclosed does not do a great job of keeping the connection stable for wired listening. However, the cable provides a decent enough connection to charge. You buy these things for the wireless capability anyways.3. Noise Cancelling 8/10 – The great part is the noise cancelling part. My bathroom is rather close to my room, but I can turn on the fan and then turn on the noise cancelling and it reduces the noise by a ton. Unfortunately, it won't reduce noise like bed-springs coming from the room above me.4. Battery Life 9/10 – I've had these headphones for a little over a month now, and I can say that the battery life seems to be doing okay. You see, there isn't a great indicator of battery life on these things. FYI When fully charged the red light at the base of the headphones will turn off, and when they run out of battery they emit a sad sound after you try to power it up before it dies again. After having forgotten to charge the headphones for a few days, my estimate is that they last for about 25 hrs on bluetooth. I haven't checked the battery life with the noise cancelling on, but I would suspect around 10 hrs.5. Comfort 6/10 – Well honestly, they're a nice balance for me. They feel comfortable around the ears and all, and the material surrounding the ears is nice. However, it should be noted that these headphones do tend to feel a bit tight. It doesn't bother me too much because if I have them on for that long, then I feel that it is a good health indicator to myself that I've probably been wearing them for too long.6. Durability – I'm not quite too sure on this point. I've noticed that sometimes switching it off doesn't quite switch it off and it tries to connect. I've gotten around this point by flipping it all the way to noise cancelling, then going back to switch it to off. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't. I get the feeling that it might be related to a low battery since it has only happens then, but I'm not certain. The headset itself is quite durable.I recommend this to anyone on a slightly lower budget that can't afford those top end wireless headphones. I think these are a great deal for the price, and definitely recommend.B.J.T.

****UPDATE****I'm going to preface this by saying I am in no way paid to do this review, and I'm not affiliated with the company whatsoever.Guys, Cowin's customer service is AMAZING. I have no idea why people are saying they had trouble with their customer service department, but I have nothing but praise for them. When I first purchased my original pair, I took the few moments to register the product with them on their website, and that extended my warranty from 12 months to 24. EVERYONE SHOULD DO THIS IF YOU PURCHASE THESE HEADPHONES! This is the reason I was able to get a replacement with no trouble. I contacted them on the 24th about how my headphones had broken and they immediately shipped me a new set. It has only been 4 days since I first emailed them, and I already have a replacement pair! I included the above photos in my email along with proof of purchase and my address. That's it. No probing questions, no shipping my broken set back to them, no paying for the shipping of the new headphones. Cowin is incredible, and they clearly stand behind their products.Also, they have made a few changes to this model since I purchased mine (which was about 18 months ago). Of note, the "volume up" button is now the more superior of the volume buttons. It was on the bottom previously, which didn't make a whole lot of sense. Changing the volume is now a short button click instead of a press and hold, which is also more intuitive with how other devices work. The bluetooth has a longer range, as I can now be on the opposite end of my two-story house from my device without the sound cutting in and out. The ear cushions are made of a different material now, but they are no less comfortable than my previous pair. And they are SO COMFORTABLE on my head. If you wear glasses, I wouldn't recommend them simply because they sit tight against your head. Not too tight, though, and the plush ear cushions are easy to wear for a loooooong duration. For reference, I am a medical student, so I am listening to lectures or music for 8-12 hours each day, and these never get even the slightest bit uncomfortable.Another major improvement on the 2019 model is they FIXED THE MICROPHONE. The old microphone was so quiet on the receiving end that it was about impossible to use without shouting, rendering it effectively nonfunctional. This mic works wonderfully. My voice comes in loud and clear on the other end. So the older reviews about terrible mic quality are defunct now. The sound quality of the headphones themselves is surprisingly good for the money. I'm not a sound engineer by any standards, but I have no qualms on the audio quality.All in all, I am thoroughly impressed both with Cowin's customer service team and their desire to constantly improve their products. They have clearly been paying attention to people's product reviews and are making changes to make their products even better. Buy the headphones. They're a fantastic value. I have no regrets whatsoever.—-ORIGINAL REVEIW STARTS HERE—-I loved these headphones while they lasted. I bought them a year and a half ago, and they worked great for my purposes. But yesterday when I picked them up, one of the swivel joints broke. The speaker on that side still works just fine, but the headphones no longer sit flush against my head, negating the noise-canceling aspect of the product (see attached photos). I took excellent care of these too and always transported them in the provided case, so it is not an issue of me being too rough with them. It's a shame. I really liked these. The around-ear cushions were super comfortable (though not with glasses on), and they seemed like a good value for the money…but not when they only last a year.S.

Let me start off by saying that I love these headphones!My only comparison that I have to these are a pair of BOSE quiet comfort 35 ii. These head phone obviously preformed slightly less and the aforementioned, but so much better than I was expecting.I bought these ANC headphones becuase I recently started working on solo projects at work in a call center and needed to block some of the chatter out.These headphones did just that!They don't cancel out the direct talking within 5 to 10 feet, but they do dramatically reduce (75-80 percent) the further away conversations. And this is what they are advertised to do.The sound quality is great. I have messed with any we settings on my phone and it sounds like the conversations from the podcast I listen to are happening right there by me.Bluetooth pairing is a breeze and the connect is amazing. Without barriers the headphone stay solidly connected over 150 feet from my phone.Battery life on these is phenomenal. I would have been pleased with 10 hours or so, but I have gotten around 3 times as much. (I started to record exactly how long, but after about 20 hours I stopped) I listen to podcast that are over an hour long and was easily able to make it through 25 before it made it to the low battery beep. I have repeated this again and again all the while with ANC on.On to comfort. I wear these headphones off and on for 8-10 hours a day at work. I have worn them a couple time for 4 hours straight and the whole time there was no discomfort or pains.
