I received Protecting + Silk Blowout (Quick Drying Thermal Spray) for free from Influenster and OGX in exchange for my honest opinion- Let me start off by saying how extremely skeptical I was to use OGX products. I have heard terrible results people have had after using this brand. I decided to try it out for myself. For starters, this thermal spray smells lovely. I would agree it did cut my blow drying time in half and also did dry fairly quickly. This product left my long, curly, thick locks silky smooth and instantly soft! You can definitely tell this thermal spray holds in moisture and is a pretty effective blowout spray. Unfortunately the spray bottle itself needs improvement. I wouldn’t consider this product a mist, it’s almost like a very lightweight conditioner in a bottle. With that being said, I would recommend spraying the product into your hands to evenly distribute. Otherwise you’ll be spreading the product in only certain areas. The nozzle doesn’t exactly like to budge and it comes spraying out like a water hose. The bottle recommend to spray product on damp hair from roots to ends. I purchased this Heat block 22 from Ulta and wasn't too thrilled with the results. I purchased it to use with my Tyme Iron which heats at 400 degrees. While I do believe my hair is being protected with this high temperature heat spray, I'm not excited over the end results when it comes to my curls. I sprayed sections of my dry-clean hair prior to running my iron through for curls. I gave ample time for each strand to dry as well. I noticed that when i ran my iron through my hair, the curls were not as defined and looked weighed-down. This heatspray also says that it allows for a "clean release" when using heat tools…but when i used mine, i felt as though the iron was sticking or resisting as I was gliding it through. My normal go to brand is IGK but they were out and I definitely needed some heat protection so I grabbed this worst mistake ever. It did say hairspray and I cannot stand hairspray. It's made my hair feel so textured, tangled, and greasy the last 2 days not even dry shampoo is helping. My normal heat protection spray never leaves my hair smelling fried this did, so does it really work? I will be returning both bottles I bought and just sticking with my IGK brand. This is such a good product, but just a slight learning curve. I have fine, straight, doesn't hold a curl kind of hair. I bought this on a whim looking for hair spray. Well this is even better because it's hairspray and heat protectant. I spray this on my dry hair before curling it. It will be sticky and crunchy like some other people state. Once the product is dry (which is relatively quickly) I brush it out with my wet brush, then I go in with my curling iron. Once I'm done I will brush through my curls to style them and they will be soft but also stay in place all day. I don't even have to go back in with more product after that initial spray. I’ve given this product a more than fair amount of uses, at the minimum two dozen, or 24 times. I’ve tried all weather conditions you could think of, inside outside. At a point I realized, I was trying to make this product work, as if there is a mystery way to apply, 8 jus5 haven’t figured out the code to unlock it’s full potential.but, I think it’s just due to my love for village, how ride or die I am for other product lines, that I just expected, with no doubt, that this was going to be of the same high quality. But, use after use, night after night I couldn’t go to bed without washing it from my hair. It creates that heavy, greasy texture to your hair, that makes you feel as if it’s been a week since you’ve washed your hair. That’s this type of smoothing product, you know the type I’m talking about. The one thing I do use it for is in the morning I use it to initiate the first run through of detangling, my frizzy lions mane. It works, better than water, just use a light light amount a comb. Thankful that there isn’t a harsh scent to this product, it does have a light fragrance but nothing overpowering, or heavy floral. I’m so sad to say but they really missed the mark on this one…it feels like it came from a completely different company, because this is not even close to, or comparable to the dozen or more high quality products, I’ve had the pleasure of using. This is my first miss with biolage, all the claims on this bottle, I can’t even pick one that fits or is truthful. I’m so sorry, but I have to be honest, because I’ve had my hair ruined from products, reacting terribly to my frizz, I had to cut it off, so I take a review for hair care very seriously. This product is just okay! It doesn't really do all that I want from a luxury product line like [brand:briogeo]. I've tried and love many of there other products but not this one! Especially with a Finishing Spritz I'm looking for high shine, a little bit of added hold and some additional lasting scent. The shine was just minimal. The beautiful desired added shine I saw when first applied seemed to kind of "wear out" or just plain went away after about an hour. The added hold was almost none existent. Now I wasn't looking for this product to hold my hair back in a ponytail but I was looking for it to atleast tame the fly aways. That lasted about 5 min before I saw flyaways again. ⭐️First of all let’s get this out of the way, I was incentivized. I received these samples for free from Influenster and matrix for my honest opinion⭐️ Now that’s out of the way… Oh my hair is loving me right now… I waited until shampoo day and it was well worth it! After using the amazing shampoo I was a little skeptical that my hair would take to this conditioner because it’s so damaged and after I wash it I usually have to put a million and one conditioning products in it just to make it manageable!!! Well let me tell you this is not the case! After issuing a decent size dollop I ran it through my hair starting at the ends and working my way up to the root. Then I added a little bit of water to make it activate a little bit and VIOLA! I let it sit in my hair for about 5 to 10 minutes and then I rinse with lukewarm water. I gently towel dry my hair afterwards and went to come through with a white tooth comb. This is the first time that the comb actually ran through my hair because my hair is so damaged. I literally want to cry. If your hair is out of control and it’s breaking to no end you should really try this and give it a little time and you will see such a difference. I want to wash my hair so badly again but I know I have to wait till it’s actually dirty! The smell is so lovely and it doesn’t fade away but it’s also not overbearing. Give it a try it!! I have very long hair, its about halfway down my back in length, so drying my hair takes what seems like forever. I have tried a lot of different priming sprays that are supposed to reduce drying time. This product works really well for my hair, it has cut drying time at least in half for me with my hair dryer. It has a mild and pleasant scent. The bottle doesn't last very long because of how long and thick my hair is, however it is completely worth it. I have to say I usually don't like a lot of docent products because it leaves my hair feeling oily, heavy and greasy. I have dark brown wavy hair past my shoulders and live in the midsouth where it is extremely humid. And extremely hot. My hair is dyed and I spend most days running between court, my office and the prison ( full Sun). So I worry about my color fading and most days I resemble ms. Overall, I was not impressed with this product. A but of background info: 1.) I have naturally curly hair and will use curling irons and straighteners to sytle my hair on occasion. 2.) We have hard water in our home. After using this product for both curly and straight hairstyles, I would not purchase this product or recommend to a ffriend. Pro 1.) No noticeable scent to the product. (Pro for some people) Cons 1.) My hair felt more static-y and rough than normal when using this product. 2.) My hair was frizzy as soon as I finished my style. I have fine, wavy, oily hair and scalp and most leave in products or heat protectants weigh my hair down to the extent that I feel a need to wash it the next day itself. But this one is different. I only needed to use a tiny amount and it felt very lightweight on my hair. After heat styling my hair looked and felt amazing without a trace of frizz. I received a BzzAgent sample product of the Kérastase Discipline Leave in treatment to try. The condition of my hair during the winter months can be a challenge. My curl /wave pattern is between a 2A and 2C with random coils. My hair is thick and beyond mid back length, so in the winter months it's more necessary to blow dry my hair. The texture of the leave in does not feel heavy, but I did need to use double of the amount instructed again for the length of hair that I have. I found that the treatment did cut down on my blowdry time, so that is a bonus. Compared to other heat protecting, straightening products, the Kérastase leave in had my hair more manageable and less frizzy. While not completely frizz free, styling my hair has been easier with less tangles. I'll get myself another tube (if I run out before) when it gets warmer to see how well using this product performs air dried. Air drying during the winter is not an option since my hair takes almost half a day, it's just too thick.hawaiana

I'm not crazy about it, but it's not strong and it dissipates after a while, so I'm okay with it. This makes my hair look GREAT. I smooth it onto my air-dried hair, then use my hot iron. I normally straighten the shaft, and curl the ends. This product makes my hair look silky and "finished" and definitely holds the curl at the ends. After much research, I bought Olaplex 6 + 7 and Kerastase Ciment Thermique at the same time. At first, I liked Olaplex more, until I found myself reaching for the Kerastase more and more until eventually, I exclusively only reach for the Kerastase. Olaplex definitely has a more silicone feel and more slip. My hair gets oily pretty quickly so it wasn't the best for my hair. Kerastase on the other hand…WOW. This stuff makes my hair noticeably more shiny and less frizzy, with no greasy or oily feeling. The second day hair is just as good, if not better! I have been heat styling every other day for 4 months and I credit this product as the reason my hair still doesn't feel or look damaged. This product is on the pricier side but it is worth every penny and a little goes a long way. I received this product as a free sample box from @bzzagent It’s a heat protectant and moisturiser so I don’t burn my hair any more. I have medium length, wavy, thin, dry hair, color-treated and prone to frizziness. First off, this product smells absolutely amazing and it lasts all day long. First of the scent is amazing. It’s citrusy but not over powering and leaves my hair smelling fresh all day long. It has a creamy texture that applied nicely to my damp hair and didn’t make my strands sticky or weighed Down. I love that I can put this in after the shower and then blow dry my hair and it is extremely silky smooth and shiny. It has helped tremendously and I absolutely love styling my hair now. Been buying this for over a decade. Recently they change their novel and every time I spray at the nozzle sticks in the downward position and I have to lift it up. It’s incredibly annoying. I am hoping to swap it out for the old sprayer if they have it in stores but if they don’t I will be looking elsewhere for a new heat protection spray. It is one thing to raise the prices (used to be 6.29 back in the day) but when you downgrade the quality of the bottle it makes me not want to bother anymore. I contemplated buying a spray bottle to put this in but why, I’m already paying $10 with tax for this! Love it! Have curly hair so bought it to straighten my hair to cut it evenly, my hair has bounced back perfectly! I used leave-in first, wouldn't recommend it on its own. Similar thickness and viscosity to castor oil, coats the hair well. I used loads on top of my leave-in but it didn't weigh my hair down or make it look product-ty, just super smooth. If you have very fine hair perhaps the spray version might be better, I chose this one because it's more concentrated. It's a good-sized bottle that will last me a while especially as I'll only need it for when I want to trim my hair, definitely recommend 🙂Marya P
I love that this isn’t that expensive and it literally gets the job done. I love the Fantasia brand. First of all their stuff smells good. When I first started straightening my hair I was using these products by Fantasia and my hair grew off the charts. My momma always talking about how long my hair has grew. I switch up but I do use the Heat protector hair straighting serum and it makes my hair so soft.But the smell I would have to say is my favorite part about this product! I tried the shampoo and conditioner in sample size packets it lathered up so good the smell is amazing! Makes your hair so soft Would definitely recommend you to try it outjennifer.f

This product overall seems to do the job. (I am uncertain how to tell how protected your hair REALLY is from the heat…). A little goes a long way. I have curly, fine hair, and if I use too much of this product, it feels greasy and weighs my hair down. However, if you use just a bit, it seems to work well. The packaging is nice, it looks great alongside the shampoo and conditioner set. Aesthetically pleasing and different packaging. The smell, while nice in itself, is way too strong in this line, and that holds true for this product as well. Overall, I like this product, will continue to use (in moderation), and would recommend it to a friend. I was given this product to test in return for my unbiased opinion. I am so happy I found this product! I received 3 products from the Biolage R.A.W. line to try out – the shampoo, conditioner and heat protector, and this heat protector is the star of the show. It smells amazing, is lightweight, conditions my hair, and protects it from the heat. I recently colored my hair for the first time in years and was nervous about the heat styling I do, because I FINALLY have gotten my hair healthy again. I received this the day before I got balyage (bleach) done, and this arrived just in time. I put this on my damp hair prior to blow-drying, or a little bit on dry hair before I curl my hair, and my hair stays shiny, hydrated, frizz-free and looking HEALTHY. This product is an absolute dream! It smells amazing and works wonders. I have used the same heat protecting spray for years, but this product has me making changes and feeling great about it! It is very light, yet it protects your hair (especially since mine is color-treated and damaged as all get out!) and smooths out all those flyaways. This product pairs really well with the shampoo and conditioner and is definitely on my list to re-purchase after I run out. The packaging is great and I feel like it is a product that will last me a long time due to only needing to use a small amount each time.
