I'm a Kapha-Pitta constitution and before finding Ayurveda I struggled to lose weight even after taking different diet approaches & exercising a lot (up to 3 hours a day). My results were always average and I couldn't shake the body bloat and mid section fat until I started using herbs to address my nervous system and endocrine system. My focus was on adrenal, cortisol, insulin, blood sugar and thyroid. I've been having amazing success with ashwagandha, triphala guggul, berberine, guduchi and iodine. After using herbs for 6 months weight management is so much easier now (no rapid gains), my body composition has dramatically improved (less bloated in the face/jaw line and lost a significant amount of weight around the mid section), I have loads of energy, my sleep is deep and restful and I'm very relaxed and happy. I've included Trim Support for the past month & results continue to be positive. I'm super grateful to have found Ayurveda medicine.
I have taken 1 Women's Support tablet every weekday (mostly), with a break on the weekends, for a few months. It's helped my period start more gently, if you know what I mean. This is good, unless I'm paying attention 🙂 Background: I have pretty textbook cycles and no debilitating issues. My biggest problem has been major inflammation during the heaviest part of my period that makes it feel like gravity is trying to remove my entire reproductive system and causes constipation, which makes it really uncomfortable to use a cup or disk. Sometimes I like to test "hormone balancing" herbs to see what they will do. I have had some throw my cycle off the textbook 28 days, so I know there are definitely impacts.
I accidentally ordered this product over the Gokshuradi Guggulu which was what I intended to order thinking they were the same thing. When I realized I figured I'd just use this & see if it helped. I'm primarily pitta-vata constitutions. Well after a few days it's made me feel way worse & I had to stop using it altogether. I've had ALOT of fluid loss from this product which has irritated both my bladder & kidneys tremendously. I needed something more calming & soothing. This wasn't it. Probably better for kapha constitutions since it felt like it had more diuretic properties while using it. Wish I could return this product for the Gokshuradi Guggulu so upset 🙁

I tried the Herbivore Nova Brightening Serum that I was gifted by Herbivore, in exchange for my honest review. First off, the packaging and color of this serum is so bright and fun! I bought this product when I went to visit Sephora with a friend, and this was recommended to me by one of the employees there to fix my reddened cheeks and complexion (I wanted something to brighten/whiten me out evenly). I hesitated on buying it since it was more expensive than products I usually try out, but I find myself liking how it feels after some weeks on it. It definitely has some smell at first (tumeric) and it's important to clean the place where it's pumped out with a finger (may leave some residue), but it absorbs near instantly into the skin and doesn't feel tacky, gooey, or oily like some serums I tried. For something which seems to have a sort of thicker consistency and its vibrant color, it really is a product which just instantly blends and absorbs into the skin and I really like it. I got a pretty generously sized sample of this in an order a few weeks ago, and after finishing it I decided to buy the full size. For reference, I have very fair, oily, somewhat sensitive, acne-prone skin with mild rosacea. First, let me address the scent. Yes, it smells like turmeric because it contains turmeric (duh). I knew what I was getting so I wasn’t bothered by the smell. I also think the scent is pretty mild and it doesn’t linger. If you don’t like the smell of turmeric or have never smelled it before, this might not be for you. Personally, I was interested in this product largely because of the included turmeric. I struggle with skin redness and the anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric can help with that. It’s also supposedly good for acne. So far, I really like this serum. I’ve been using it for the past couple of weeks as part of my morning skincare routine. It’s moisturizing and spreads over the skin easily. It’s a gentle formula that hasn’t caused any irritation or breakouts. It doesn’t make me greasy, but I find it gives me a really healthy glow upon application. I have a bad habit of picking at pimples and my acne marks take forever to fade, but I do feel like this is helping speed up that process. At first I didn't really know what to expect or think these would do anything, but I had been looking for something with ashwagandha and thought why not. At first I took 2 pills daily (the first week just to kick start it into my system) and then went down to taking 1, I hadn't been getting a lot of rest either around when I first started my new job, so I figured that maybe the ashwaganda was making me feel a little too relaxed and extra tired and went down to 1 pill. I honestly didn't know if the rest of these ingredients were working until one day at dinner my family commented about how much I'm "glowing"! So I knew they worked. I also been struggling with damaged hair for the last year and my curls had finally come back out of nowhere! At the time I didn't know a thing about biotin or collagen and ever since this product I've looked into it and knew this was a miracle in a bottle! However, I do think taking 1 pill a day is fine, it worked great for me and like I said, I felt the ashwaganda could have been making me a little more sleepy since I took these in the morning; ashwagandha is notoriously known for its stress relieving & relaxing qualities, but if you're someone who does have a regular sleep schedule and gets an average amount of rest (unlike me), then don't worry about these making you feel tired or anything *if you do decide to take these in the morning. I’ve been taking these for about 5 weeks now and I have noticed two main things. First, my mood has improved! My skin has always been pale so I’m not sure about the brightening effect, but my skin seems moister after finishing one bottle, probably because of the main ingredient phytoceramide. I am very happy with this organic Amla powder. I put a teaspoon in my green drink in the morning as it strengthens the immune system. My dad have heart failure and his h1ABc is bordeline. He is usually hungry every two hours and he feel that his body is shaking whenever it happen. We received this and the arjuna for his heart at a wrong timing bec his heart concerns were flaring up that time. Lower leg edema and pulmonary edema. So we didn’t see the effect. Didn't even think much about it until recently I started noticing that my skin has a firmer, smooth texture and feels more "plump" when I touch my face. The skin on my face is normally bumpy and unevenly toned, but I've noticed that I can totally go without makeup and feel glowing, dewy and with an even tone and texture. I’m not big into serums as I’ve only just recently gotten into the multi step skin care. I love the design of the bottle with high shine thick glass. The beads in the serum are visually kind too are nice to rub in. 2 drops on my forehead 2 on each cheek. Rubs in smoothly evenly. It never feel sticky at all which for me is big because most have a little resistance when you rub them in. Does well as my base layer under my moisturizer and foundation without causing any of it to apply or wear differently. Does not cause my skin to “glow” though. However these formulas are made for your specific skin type so without trying a custom one I’m not sure if there’s another one better for me! Feels great on but I didn’t see the effects of it.rae.h
Well upon first impression of opening it I realized it was not in a uv protecting bottle so I then knew immediately that it was not going to be a strong product for the skin which I was bummed about.
