Reviews:
It's a very basic printer and I was able to get it connected to my phone pretty easily. It prints and scans from my phone just fine (although it's a little sluggish). My macbook, on the other hand, was a different story… I tried to get it connected to my macbook for hours and it never connected. Even looked up Youtube videos to troubleshoot and get different ways to connect it to my laptop. I gave up, it's a lost cause. Fortunately, when you sign up for the HP app, you can directly email documents to the printer itself and it'll print out. So I've been doing that as a roundabout way to print documents from my laptop and it has been working flawlessly thus far (I've had it for about one month). Overall, it does its job, but it obviously has some caveats. I wanted to splurge a bit more and get a nicer printer, but everything was sold out, so I settled for this one. I don't print or scan a ton, only once in awhile, so this will do for now. Also, I'm a simple man when it comes to printers. I just want something to plug into my laptop and just print and scan documents. All this smart app stuff is just unnecessary to me and overly complicated for what should be a simple device. But again, I had a lack of options. The app itself is good, I just find the idea around it for a freakin' printer to be ridiculous. So yea, it's a decent home printer, but if you need a printer for work, I would definitely look for something better. I would recommend this product for light home use… for someone that only needs to print or scan something once in awhile, like myself.David
As far as print goes, this wasn't a bad printer, however if you want the insta-ink option and wifi, you may be in for a fight. I bought this on a Friday night and after some struggling, was able to connect to my computer and phone, via wifi. I was never able to set up the insta-ink subscription. I kept getting "there in an error with your subscription". I did print several things, including a picture, and the print was very good. However, since one of the main reasons that I purchased this printer was the ability to save money with the insta-ink program, this was only a partial success. Fast forward to Monday, when I could reach out to customer support. After 15 minute on hold with the virtual assistant, I was able to connect with customer support. He understood the issue and said it would take about 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, he wanted to connect into my computer, which I was not comfortable with, so he kept having me do different steps. After another 40 minutes, I told him that I had to work and would have to contact them back. 1 hour down. After work, I contacted again through the virtual assistant. Again, they wanted to remote in, again I said no. Again said 20 minutes to fix. The printer was hooked up, I just couldn't get the insta-ink program to work. They couldn't explain why it wasn't working. after 1/2 an hour of doing the same steps over and over and she still couldn't get the insta-ink to work, I gave in and let her remote into my computer. She took another 40 minutes, but finally got the program to work but somehow managed to kill the wifi. I couldn't connect without a cable ( which was not included and I just happened to have from an old printer) and she had no idea why. She sait that was another department and I would have to contact them. Anothe hour and a half of my time (I'm up to 2 and 1/2 hours now) and still don't have my printer working. Fast forward to Tuesday, after work, I contacted the department that she instructed me to, this time I held on the phone for 20 minutes or so. Again, when rhe person answered, he sai 20 minutes to fix (this must be a standard answer for everything). This time, when he wanted to remote in, I gave assess. He kept taking to me, explaining what he was doing, but again, could only get the printer to work wit a cable. When I asked what he would have done it I didn't have a cable, he said that he could've mailed one or I would've had to gone out and purchased 1. But he was going to fix it so that I could print via wifi. After almost an hour and a half, he reset the printer to factory specs, had me turn off the printer and restart my computer. My computer came back on, the printer never did. He said that the printer was outdated and that there were better ones now. I gave up. He wanted to keep working, told him I wasn't interested, that I was packing the printer back up and returning to store. He wanted me to give more time… after giving HP over 4 hours of my life, I said enough. Packed the printer up, Will never purchase an HP again.JayneG
I needed a small all in one for the space it had to go into. Printers started getting rather large compared to what they were years ago and it was getting hard to find one to fit in the space. It's a cheap printer, feels like a cheap printer and I don't know how long it'll last but it may surprise me. HP claims it to have a 1000 page per month duty cycle and I don't print anywhere near that number so maybe it will last 4 or 5 years … or maybe not. I've only owned this a couple of days and so far all the functions seem to work OK. It was very difficult to set up using a wifi network with a security password so one word of advice – use your smart phone to install it on a secure network. The phone set the printer up quickly after I struggled for quite a while on the computer. Also, you need to log into the printer for internet access and it asks you for a password – I found it is either just the "enter" button or "space" then "enter" buttons. Once I got it all set up it seems to be working OK. One thing I've always hated with the 2 ink cartridge system is wasting some unused expensive ink; I've signed up for the trial of the instant ink program to see if it is more economical to do it that way. I took away 1 star because of the setup and how cheap it feels. I would have probably bought a little better all in one if they made more (and the store having more options at the time of purchase) of the size I need. If it lasts for 4+ years based on my usage that will be great.Vinny

Reviews:
I had the Canon Selphy but the ink cartridges only printed maybe 10 pics before I had to change. Opted for the Canon Tr150, Great printer. Compact, opted in for battery pack as well for portability and based on my use the first time(printing 4×6 Photo booth style pics), starter ink cartridge printed roughly 60 plus(hard to pinpoint as I had customers ask for 2-3 reprints, based off actual content count on drive). Worked well. Print quality looks good and print time was okay roughly minute per but towards end when I had multiple customers could of used a second printer though….overall I recommend. I'm above average user(events, weddings, portraits) so worth the money so far.Walter
I travel out of town and my company likes to print things last minute or make me print last minute with the possibility of not having a printer to print to. I decided to invest in a portable printer so I wouldn’t look unprofessional to my clients for not having paperwork ready. This printer was easy to setup. It has its own “wifi” so it’s almost like a bluetooth printer; no need to be connected via cable nor need a flash drive. The only con I have is that the ink doesn’t dry instantly so I’ve encountered ink smears when I accidentally touch the printed paper. It could possibly be because of fresh new ink but who knows. Either way, it’s great. I carry it in my backpack. I use the power cable but I think I’ll also invest in the battery to avoid having to carry the power adapter.STACIE
Portable compact printer designed for people on the go! Recommend getting the battery pack (LK-72, costs $99) if you want it to be truly portable. Set-up was a breeze, took me less than 5 minutes to get it connected to my home Wi-Fi (5 GHz) and was able to print my first doc as soon as the set-up was complete. It took me a bit to figure out how to switch networks from home Wi-Fi to my Verizon MiFi hot spot and to configure it to a "wireless direct" print option. All the magic happens when you select the "settings" icon that is displayed on the LCD screen, which wasn't quite obvious the first time I looked at the screen as I kept searching the app for settings option. It goes without saying "when everything else fails, read the manual". The online printer manual link on the canon app came in handy for instructions on how to configure, change settings, connect to cloud, etc. I was able to print documents off of my IPAD (over Wi-Fi), smart phone (Wi-Fi), and PC (via google cloud printer) with all the devices connected to my Verizon WiFi hot spot. I saw couple custom template options on the settings and haven't explored those yet, but I see them coming handy to print custom forms on the go. Haven't tried the USB option to connect the printer directly to the PC, but might be good option when you are not connected to the internet. I noticed the printer does consume quite a bit of ink when you choose high quality prints so be ready to shell out ~$40 for replacement cartridges. Overall, I like this printer and it is compact and portable even though it's a bit pricey for a portable printer, but definitely avoids the misery of running around to find a printer or begging someone else to get you copy of your presentation when you are on the move.TechGeek

Reviews:
Bought to replace an 8 year old Canon (MX 880) that finally gave up the ghost. Very pleased with the ease of setup and the performance. Little slower than my older one but more than makes up for that by doing more. My older model would not scan multiple pages as one document (I am a Realtor). This one does! Having only two ink cartridges instead of 4 in my old one is a plus. The ability to print from my phone is nice but probably won't get used all that much. Overall, very pleased with the purchase and look forward to many years of use.
Purchased a week ago. Smooth, easy wireless set up. Quick B & W printing. Prints card stock, photo paper, both glossy & matte very well. Rear feed great for cards & photos. Scanning is easy with numerous functions. Would give 5 stars if it had an ink system that was more economical. So far, I think this is an excellent printer and a good value. I had purchased a Brother printer in the store that was $100 more because it was in stock, and the Canon was not, but it would not print cards without jamming, so I returned it. Staples credited my visa without any questions or hassle. Had to order the Canon online, but it came overnight, and it is a much better printer, for a lot less money. Will continue to purchase from Staples due to this excellent customer service experience.SUSAN
So far, so good! I have terrible luck with printers and they just don't seem to last. This one replaced another Canon PIXMA that I was never able to get connected wirelessly and would constantly give me errors that it wasn't connected or offline. So, understandably I was a little hesitant to get another Canon. This one had decent reviews which were on par with or better than the others I was looking at, and since it was on sale for a fantastic price, I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm so glad I did! Setup was a breeze, and this is the first printer that I've had that not only easily connected wirelessly, but has stayed connected. Even adding my smartphone to wirelessly print was a piece of cake. This printer practically set itself up every step of the way. It does everything it said it would do and is easily meeting my needs. So far I'm extremely happy.ToyFoxGirl

Reviews:
Prints quickly and sharply. I was using an inkjet. The printing rate is about 30 times faster, and the quality about 20% better. I'm using Arch Linux and the brlaser project (AUR package available) got me set up wonderfully. Holds like 200 pieces of 8.5×11 paper and has a manual-feed place for paper I guess for legal pages? Automatic duplexing is awesome of course. The printer bends the paper a good deal, so when the paper comes out, if you set it flat on the table, the corners are up quite a bit. To get the paper flat requires some work, and it may relax over time.dartmetrash8
Needed a New printer since my old Brother printer decided to slow down and stop. The Brother printer with the duplex is is updated for my needs. Brother is a Great Printer and I'll been buying Brother products for many years. Soooo very happy Brother has been there with many choices of printers. Fast delivery. I will recommend. 10********** 🙂karro-us2014
The printer is quiet and of very nice printing quality. I have no disk drive on my PC for the driver installation, but you can download the driver from Brother. It does not bring a USB cable connector, but you can buy it at Walmart of $4.88. Link here: https://www.walmart.com/ip/onn-6ft-USB-Printer-Cable-USB-to-USB-B/847376288?athbdg=L1600.

Pros: Prints well. Connected to WiFi well the first time. Cons: Main lead fitting is very weak, falls out all the time, doesn't seem to fit very securely. Printer too complicated. I am well experienced with pcs and printing but this one is just too faffy. It connected to my original older laptop via WiFi great but when I had to replace the laptop I had an awful time trying to get it to connect to the new one. Bought this printer because it had a higher spec scanner but it is currently scanning everything green. Wish I had gone for a more basic model. Expensive for ink tooElaine
Pros: Excellent prints with minimum setting up with the software I use. Quiet when printing and head cleaning. Intelligent identification of paper when loaded which is a bonus. Easy to use control panel and good access for changing ink cartridges. Overall I’m impressed and would buy again/recommend to others. Cons: Construction feels rather flimsy compared to previous models from the same company. The front tray lid comes off a little too easily and the whole front assembly is rather clunky. That said, it all works well enough.Steve
The Canon software made this the most difficult printer I ever installed – and I've installed many. The software has separate apps for specific purposes rather than download a single package. Very aggravating. The software often directs a consumer to a Canon website where that has a broken link or states the info is not available. I got so fed up when the software reports I did not have a connection established between the printer and computer despite being able to print a test page. Did I mention that it took me forever to see the printer in the Windows printer folder?Pat

Reviews:
My friend was slowly starting up her business and she started shipping products out every week. She didn’t have a printer when she moved so she had to resort to going to the UPS store to print out all her shipping labels. I thought it would be a nice supportive good luck gift to get her a printer that would get the job done for her. This printer was very easy to setup and I didn’t have any issues with the wireless connection. We were printing shipping labels from her phone in an instant which was a big sigh of relief for her. No more paying for shipping labels and having to drive to the nearest UPS store. I also had a bit of immature fun with it printing out a bunch of colorful funny pictures and they all came out just fine. I guess the only inconvenience she really had was that supposedly the printer would act “frozen” if she didn’t use it for a while so she would have to restart the printer and it would work again. Aside from that, she has had no complaints. This definitely works if you just need simple printing capabilities with low printing production.PrestigeXxclusivity
i DEARLY wish I could give this product high accolades. I'll start from the top, listing out shortcomings and negative experiences, but will also describe positives. A week ago, I was in desperate need of a color printer. A major event was coming up, and I needed to do color printing on Avery-style templates. Specifically, for making colorized, custom stickers. When I bought the printer, I did so KNOWING that it would come with a cartridge with very limited printing capacity (i.e., it would run dry after a relatively small amount of printouts). So, I also bought a cartridge with greater capacity. Using the cartridge that came with the printer, sure enough, the color ran dry after a couple dozen prints. However, even when I installed the refill cartridge, the color ink AGAIN ran dry after only a couple dozen prints! Moreover, I did some tests to make sure it really was the case that the color ink was running out, and not something else like 'calibration'. It really was that the color ink was running out. The other issue is that the Wireless Connectivity was NOT easy to setup. It was very hit or miss. In the end, when I connected it to a USB cable, setting it up was MUCH easier and more reliable. Oh, there were positives. It did a pretty good job with black and white printing. Its scanning capabilities were also top notch! The price was also GREAT! But, I do suggest you strongly take into account the issues I described above, before committing to purchase this. If those issues seem like they won't hamper you seriously, then it might be the case that this is the printer for you after all!KSHA
The mandatory HP app for setup and operation is tedious, and there's a glitch that times you out in the middle of setup, then refuses to accept the password you just created. Says it's invalid. I changed my password 5 times today while doing the initial setup. If you don't successfully complete the setup, some features, like scanning and document feed are inoperative. Speaking of scanning, hope you like the .jpg file because they do not even offer .pdf in the menu. I know its not an office machine, home use only, but really. . . Oh and the help/support function is clueless on the password and interrupted setup problems. There is no phone number for anything if you want help. This might be a good system for your school aged kids, but professional grade?? Different ballpark. Just a shot in the dark on 3 stars for quality, no idea since I just opened the box this morning. I cannot in good faith recommend this product based on today's first impressions. I seriously considered putting it back in the box and returning it.FunWithOfficeMachines

Reviews:
The Pixma TS64210a is a decent budget option for those looking for a multifunction printer that can operate as a jack of all trades. However, the ongoing operating costs make it potentially less appealing than other options at the price point. Setup was simple as expected. Hooking it to my wifi network was simple and the printer was immediately recognized by the Canon app. I had this installed from a previous Canon printer which recently stopped working. In addition to setup being easy, functionality is quite good with this Pixma. There's a small, somewhat useful screen that enables you to view the various menus and options available to you. It's frankly sufficient; while other models may tend toward larger, touchscreen based interfaces, they've kept it simple here and likely kept the cost down. Print quality was reasonably good across various types of printing for me. Document printing will be as good as expected, but normal color printing (non-photo based) was just OK. Compared to my previous Pixma (the MX922), this felt like a slight step backwards in this regard; color reproduction wasn't quite as accurate and appeared ever so slightly more washed out. It's not terrible, but it's not the best you can get. I'm not sure if this is down to Canon's decision to reduce the total ink cartridges down to two, one for black and one for color, but thus far, I'm not a fan of this decision (which I'll discuss more in a bit). Photo printing is adequate for this range of printer; again, not stellar but it does reasonably well and with a higher quality print setting and better paper, I found that it performed more to expectations compared to standard color printing. About the ink cartridges… Again, I'm finding to be not a fan of this setup. My previous Pixma had numerous inks, including two different black cartridges and something like 5 color cartridges. To some, this seems like a worse setup based on pricing alone. However, in my experience, that worked VERY well, as it allowed you to only replace what you used. In this case, if I use a lot of blue in my prints, for instance, I'll eventually need to replace the entire color cartridge. Pricing is at least somewhat reasonable, but to me, this is going to cost more in the long run and might have the potential side effect of worse color reproduction on prints (though this is wholly speculation on my part). The rest of the features here work as expected. The scanner is nice to have, and while there's no document feeder, the trade off is that you get a much sleeker and slimline printer, which at least in my case, is more "wife-approved" in design. The scanner works as expected, as does the copy function. In general, there's no extra fluff here; no "fax" feature (which I've personally never used) for instance, which did nothing but add extra components and space to my previous printer. Overall, I'm happy enough with this printer. It performs a wide number of functions decently well, but doesn't exactly excel at any. But given the price range, it's not really expected to. If you're in the market for a compact printer that can do it all, this is one to consider.Jturn
The Canon PIXMA TS6420a All in One is a good, basic, easy to use home printer. With it you can print, copy & scan documents. It is compact so it has a small footprint on your desk. This model doesn't include an automatic document feeder, so that adds to the sleek look. However, it DOES have auto-duplex so you are able to print on both the front & the back. Also small is the paper tray – it is quite small holding approximately 100 sheets of paper. The tray sticks out about 2" from the printer. You can push it further in, but then you can't print from it. On the plus side, in addition to the front tray, you can feed various sizes/types of paper from the back – such as your photo paper.I find the printer to be solid, but I find the parts to be somewhat flimsy. The paper tray, paper exit tray and rear paper feeder all feel as though I might not want my 12 year old to handle them. They seem like they might easily break – but so far, so good! Setting up the printer was very easy – I used the suggested website and the set-up was a breeze. My network easily found the printer and WiFi connected on my one and only try. That is a nice change from some other recent electronic devices that needed multiple attempts. The set-up process forces you to look at the VERY small 1.44" OLED display, which at that size, is not a touch screen. Personally, I needed to be right up on it to see what it was telling me. Once I got through the ink installation which was easy & intuitive, the printer needed to do its alignment. Using 2 sheets of paper, it was a slow process, but everything came out great. Once all of that was done, I was easily able to print from my PC and my iPhone. That made me happy! Copying was easy as well. Unfortunately, I have not had the occasion to scan as yet. This printer is definitely on the slow side, however after printing/copying a variety of documents and photos, I find the print quality of the Canon TS6420a to be surprisingly good! After printing stops, I do find that there are a lot of sounds coming from under the cover – on its own. I don't know what is moving around in there, but it stops after a bit. Somehow I equate slow with less than, and this printer isn't that. It is making a great little home/office printer for us. We don't need super fast, we need quality. In that area, this Canon printer doesn't disappoint.BBReviewer
I've used a ton of printers over the past few years, both in my job and personal life. My wife is a teacher, so inkjet printers tend to get worn out quickly in our house and it seems like there is always something new on our shelf. When I received the Canon PIXMA TS6420a for review, I was hoping it would compare favorably with similarly priced printers I've used in the past. What I found was a bit of a mixed bag. First, the good: after a pretty ordinary out of the box experience, I was impressed to see Canon includes a sample pack of their high quality glossy photo paper (4×6 size) and also that the quick start guide is really just a QR code for you to scan with your phone. This isn't new, of course – what was new is that the QR code took me directly to a page with a link to the Android app which made setting up and using the printer SUPER easy. Huge kudos to Canon for that. I was also extremely impressed with the quality of the photos I got with the included glossy paper. Regular color prints for a presentation and office document were just 'good' – not mindblowing but good enough that I'd be fine printing something to hand out at the office. Also, the manual feed slot that flips up from the back of the printer is a pretty good design and makes it really easy to print envelopes or photos without opening the main tray. There really isn't anything "bad" about the TS6420a, but there's just too much compromise for me. The color ink is a single CMY cartridge for all 3 colors, which means you're going to waste a lot of ink unless you always print the same amount of each color somehow. When Red runs out, it doesn't matter if you have yellow and blue left – too bad. For me the real dealbreaker is the size of the paper tray, though. The main tray only holds about 100 sheets and it just feels super tiny. Yes, the rear flip up tray can hold plain paper, taking you to 200 sheets, but it's all just too small. If you're looking for a printer primarily for photos that does a few other things, the TS6420a does reasonably good quality photos for a reasonably low asking price. I think the costs of buying the tri-color ink will add up over time, and the low paper capacity makes this frustrating to use for home office tasks.Abhaxus

Reviews:
It is very small/compact but it needs room for all the trays to fold out so you can add paper and it has a place for the output paper to land. So the space saving is nice in theory but impractical. I have used high quality multi function laser printers for 20 years and 'assumed' the quality of the print would be pretty good on this one since the technology is mature. The print quality is not great. Yes it prints, No is doesn't print fast. The price is attractive but like everything, you get what you pay for. I would say if you dont want an inkjet printer because you rarely need a printer (like me) and you dont care about how well the printed page looks – then this is a good fit ( considering the cost of replacement toner) but for me the print quality is marginal at best and each time I want to print – this think is like a transformer – you need to open up all its flaps etc.Ciao
So far this printer has been worth it for my family. Each page it prints has crisp text, which is a plus for anyone with vison problems. The step up of the printer is really easy. 1. Unbox and place the printer where you want it. 2. Connect the USB cable to your system and turn it on. 3. Install the drivers. (if you have a home WIFI chose install option #3) This installs the wifi drivers. Once this is done the end user can disconnect the usb cable. 4. Start printing. Note **The install drivers come on a CD, which is hard to believe in 2022. And the installation program can be downloaded from the company's website for those without a cd or dvd drive in their system.** Once this printer is connected to the wifi network it can be used from even a mobile phone (without the company's mobile app) it works with direct print which for me was a plus! Even though that function was not listed on the box or in any of the manuals that came with the printer. So far I've liked everything about this printer, it's easy to setup and use. even installing the tonner cartage was easy. On the plus side the cost of the replacement tonner cartage is far less than I would have thought $50 – $60 dollars. If you are primarily printing black and white pages then this printer is the one for you! Inexpensive and a small foot print a plus for small apartments or office's. (I have it sitting on a small table out of the way) But well worth it to the budget minded consumer.wolf421
The set up was easy except for my computer lacking a CD player. Pantum associate led me through getting the driver. The printer is only black ink, which is what I wanted. Once you attach a USB cord to the computer you can then print what is on your screen. However, I do miss having SCANNER! I didn’t realize that when I bought the Pantum.Mary

Reviews:
The Canon Pixma ip100 prints well for a portable printer. I will be taking it on a trip next week and will try it out as a "road warrior" printer, but so far it has worked well. Easy to set up — if you have Win 8 or higher, you don't need the install CD to set up, just plug it to your laptop and it automatically acquires the Canon drivers. I had no trouble installing it on my desktop (as a second printer) or my other peripherals. It will also serve as a backup printer if my desktop printer is either engaged or stops working. The bluetooth dongle shipped with the Pixma doesn't work, but I realized it was a copy of the original and at some point, I'll purchase the authorized dongle. All in all, the Canon Pixma has not presented any problems with respect to installation and print quality. You'll hear from me if it does.lrolston
This printer is replacing the beloved by me, but no longer in production, BJC-55. This printer is a fairly large device for a portable printer. I obtained a case that it fits in for extra protection and it takes up half the space in my computer bag. Setting up the printer is easy, and it prints very well. The ink takes a LONG time to dry on Avery clear labels, so if you're going to print address labels to or from, I would print those on a regular printer either at a hotel business center or before leaving home. I carry this printer with me to be able to print adhesive name badge labels that are affixed to postcards describing places I am visiting. It works perfectly for that. I also use it for business purposes to print forms/instructions when I am at a client site visit. Unfortunately, I cannot rely on hotel printers as often they are out of paper, or worse, empty ink cartridges with no replacements available. I obtained the external battery to be able to use this printer without a power source attached, but have NEVER been able to figure out how to use the damned thing. Again, the BJC-55 was a superbly designed and extremely functional printer and I have no idea why Canon would stop making such a fabulous device and replace it with something like this.8849chrystinp
This printer is simply the best portable unit I have purchased.. Easy to install and setup. It does all the work itself and makes itself ready to use in minutes. The color quality is amazing and easily matches the photos i print from my color laser. I now have purchased 3 of these. I kept one and gifted the others. Buy one used to test my remarks. Later you'll buy s new one!telle6107

It took me a while to figure out how to print to the edge using my macbook pro. If you use a PC, I think it's more automatic the settings. The customer service is good, they took control my monitor and helped me figured out a way to print to the edge. The only way we could print to the edge is by right clicking and opening up the image as other then Photos on mac and printing as matte photo paper to get it to automatically print from the rear using card stock or photo paper. The quality of printed images isn't great. I haven't actually tested on photo paper yet so it could be better if you use photo paper perhaps. But so far I find the colour intensity kind of faded and not as intense even while I selected high quality print on cardstock and regular printing paper. I don't know if my default ink cartridge is faded but I tried refilling the cartridge with more ink and it's still not that great but passable. I like that it works and prints to the edge and can handle cardstock. If you're using this to scan frequently. This doesn't have auto load page by page. You have to load manually so takes a while to scan each page. I got it on sale about $150 tax in a while back so good budget printer and you can always refill ink manually if you find the cartridges expensive. Look up online on how to do it through Youtube. At first I got the black and I returned and got the white so it's less of a bulky black box.JY
If you are looking to print wirelessly then do not get this printer. After connecting wirelessly taking an hour after it fails repeatedly. It attempts to print 10+ times failing every time then will randomly print. If you want to print another document it will go through the same prosses resulting in taking over 30min per page. If you want to print another day then you will have to go through all the connectivity prosses again. Thought I would give Canon a second try but was very disapointed.JJ
We bought this printer before Christmas for occasional printing. I wanted something with a small footprint, didn't cost an arm and a leg for replacement ink and provided good quality. Wireless made it much easier to use with multiple sources, three computers and phones. Connection was easy, I just followed the manual. It has been a great little printer, far surpassing my requirements. Printing is quick and clear. This Canon meets our needs. I would recommend it to anyone that requires occasional printing.Roy

Reviews:
Horribly disappointing. Ink cartridges are very small, requiring constant/expensive replacements – ink supply will deplete rapidly after printing regular office documents (not the more ink intensive photos). Furthermore, the scanner feature will not work if ink is low – thus necessitating additional purchases before using an entirely unrelated feature. I feel ripped off and stupid for having been suckered into this product.Solar
I am a big fan of Canon product. Their things work well with each other with no hassle and good reliability. This unit is just what I wanted to replace my 15 year old Canon printer. It even uses the same cartridge as the old one which is great as I have a multi pack of same. Light, small, easy set up, easy use, reliable Great iteration on a great Canon product.mrnice
The Good: Set-up is basically straightforward and easy. Wireless Wi-Fi hook-up went smoothly. Print colors are fine for everyday use. The less good: Ink cartridges are located underneath the scanner, not easy to find; and you must be sure to load paper carefully to avoid a paper jam. Overall, I am happy with this Canon Pixma, and see it as a good, inexpensive printer.Molly

The Brother – MFC-J1170DW Wireless Color All-in-One inkjet printer in black is a nice, compact printer that is mostly easy to install. Since I am a CPA in public practice, I use all kinds of printers for all sorts of applications-mostly laserjet for fast numerous printing of lengthy tax returns, but all in one inkjets for billing and other miscellaneous printing jobs. The only hiccup that I had was after I had officially set up the printer. So, on its LCD screen there was a message that a firmware update was available. I hit the arrow that takes you through a series of prompts to eventually have to enter a password. Well, silly me, I thought the password was the same one as my online Brother account and even changed that thinking I had it wrong when the message on the machine's screen kept telling me that I had the incorrect password. Little did I realize that on the back of the machine there is a little stamped area that not only has the machine's serial number, but also has a PWD and I believe 7 combo of letters, caps and lower case, numbers, and special characters. The easiest way for me to enter and read was to use my phone's camera to take a picture and read and enter it into the machine. I did wind up calling Brother's toll free number, speak with someone off shore, I believe from their accent, which I do not like. However, after almost pulling my hair out over this password thing, all was done. I already had the Brother set-up program and its utility type programs so downloading the necessary software to my older desktop was easy. I have a newer Dell 2 in 1 on a different floor and that connected to this new Brother machine quite easily, too. Pros-small enough to set on an ottoman, see attached picture, or on any desk surface area. Quick 1st paper out, quality of print, and speed. This is good for smaller office type jobs or smaller home type jobs. I also had the Brother Mobile Connect app already downloaded to my smartphone and I love using that to print necessary items right from my phone. The literature states that ISO print speeds are up to 17ppm for black print and up to 16.5 ppm for color print. I used wireless connectivity, but there is ethernet available, automatic duplex (2 sided) printing, and many things , like the Cloud, Dropbox, etc., can be reached directly from the machine itself, and a 20 page auto doc feeder. Con-Does not state on the box that it is compatible with the recently release Windows 11, so I would call the toll free Brother number and get an opinion on that if you have that operating system. I have not priced replacement Brother brand ink for this machine-there is a "Refresh" Brother program found at www.RefreshmentEZPrint.com that is similar to that of HP's instant ink program where the machine communicates with them seamlessly and for a monthly fee, based on projected number of pages to be printed on a monthly basis, you will receive ink without even having to request it by mail or some other delivery service of their choosing. This machine comes with only starter cartridges for Bk/C/M/Y. The standard ones per Brother will print around 200 pages where the high yield print up to 500 ;ages. I will be looking into the best ink pricing to see what is the most economical way to buy ink because unfortunately, that can be more in the long run than the machine itself.KansasMeddlingMom
So, this little printer is a highly impressive specimen. Not only was it incredibly easy to set up and get going with the easy-to-follow instructions, but it prints like a bat flying out of hell! I actually swore with surprise the first time I printed off a text page and it just shot out of there like a high velocity rifle round–printed with perfect accuracy. This is a compact, user-friendly printer—highly economical this inflationary day of age, with ink that according to my research is actually rather economical to replace too! That is a huge win for me all around. The size means that this printer is friendly on most workspaces and is honestly perfect for the occasional printer like me who wasn’t looking for something crazy fancy or high-volume. What I really wanted that this printer has, is the ability to scan documents easily to my Onedrive account. I upload manual timecards to my company via scans, and my old printer lost its ability as it is so old to connect to my Onedrive account to upload scans directly to the Onedrive folder I had selected. Getting this Brother printer set up to do it was easy and now I have that ability back again! I am very pleased with this. Altogether, I can’t think of a better entry-level printer at this time. I do miss when entry-level, beginner printers were cheaper, but this printer seems to have the ability to do it all while being user friendly and compact, and I don’t know if I can give it a better recommendation than that! Thanks for reading and hope this review helps you feel confident in your purchase!Bren
Pros: * Wireless * Multi-functional * Easy to set up * Small footprint Cons: * Uses ink cartridges (vs refillable tanks) * Touch screen is hard to use * Can only print files (other than Word docs) through their proprietary program Keep in mind, I'm reviewing this compared to my experience with a variety of multi-function printers from different brands (including Brother), both wired and wireless. Also, I'm running Windows 11, as an FYI. Personally, I prefer the tank printers over the cartridges. I don't print that often, so the ink frequently just sits there, and after using for the first time after a couple of weeks of rest, I tend to get better performance with the tank printers than I do with cartridge printers. Plus, there's the environmentally friendly part of using the tanks, as well. The touch screen is difficult to use – the buttons are entirely too small, and even with my smallest fingertip my touches weren't getting registered correctly (i.e., I pressed 8 and it registered a 5, and this happened multiple times). Red flag and star loss for me: I can't seem to get any PDFs or pictures (JPGs and PNGs) to print unless I use their proprietary program to open and then print the file, which is a pain! I've never run into this issue with any other printer (wired or wireless), so I'm not sure if it is a Brother thing or something else. I was able to print a Word doc from Word without a problem, however! That all being said…it was easy enough to set up and get connected wirelessly to my computer and network, but with the requirement of going through their proprietary app to print anything, I personally would pass on this printer. That extra hassle just isn't worth it when other printers don't have this restriction.erinb16

DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!!! CHECK THE SPECS, FEATURES, AND WHATS INCLUDED, BEFORE BUYING!!! Iam guving one star because there is only one spot where it says a usb cable is needed and it should be in the product description but its not so i didnt see that i was going to need it. The printer must be connected with a usb cable in order for it to work and you cannot even set it up unless you have it. So i cannot set it up until i go buy a usb cable for it. That is the one piece of equipment that is needed in order for it to work so why would you not include a cable? even when you go to check out it never did the essential add on pop up with a usb option so i still didnt think i was going to need additional items That didnt happen when i added the printer to the cart but even if it did i probably would not have gotten one. Since i didnt see that it was needed.Nothappywithcustomerservi
Just delivered, a bit of trepidation about 'installing' as previously had an ITDepartment for this. Fairly intuitive, though not sure what to do with the CD disk~~ (Never required installation . . . ??) Located the ink cartridge install sites, plugged the cord in, turned on the printer & MacBook Pro computer, and jacked in the DSL connection. Installed paper, located test page to print ~~ Tapped 'Print' and up came the selection tab. All this without benefit of an instruction book; amazingly simple! Since the sales info indicated lack of compatibility with any OS X systems beyond 10.2 Sierra, I printed from my Mac with that system first. HOWEVER, curious to find out whether it might also handle 10.15 Catalina, I jacked it into my newer Mac. Printed equally as well from both Systems . . . Sierra & Catalina! If you are not 'techy', I fully recommend this printer, with the caveat that is doesn't appear to have font size adjustment? Apologies if it does . . . brand new to me today, and simply quite thrilled that any printer can be this intuitive and easy to connect~~!!BelleWA
Must be made by the contractor that makes the lowest-end HP printers. Same form factor and 2 print-head integrated cartridges- pigment black and dye C-M-Y. Biggest drawback USB only. There is something to be said for a small, light weight printer one take along when traveling or up at the cottage. But I would skip this one and get the TS302 with wireless and for another $15 ($69) it can do a LOT more. Would be even better if these printers had a battery pack. When I got mine, Canon was selling these for about $25. There are ways to refill these HP-type cartridges, which I plan on doing in the future.David

I do most of my printing, scanning, and copying on my laser printer. For several years, I've been looking for a Color Inkjet Printer without the All-in-One stuff. I finally found this unit and was overjoyed. So now that I have it, here's what I know so far. It's as advertised. Setup was fairly straight forward. I've only printed one thing on it so far, and it was on plain paper, but I was surprised how nice the picture came out. I've used inkjets before, several years ago, and this seemed faster and a much better print on plain paper than I could expect. I look forward to using it with photo paper.Donald
I was in need of a printer last minute. After shopping around I figured B&H is the best place to go. I found this printer that's in my budget. I've never had such an easier set up for a machine like this before. Simply plug it in and follow the online instructions. Was able to print what I needed withing five minutes of taking it out the box! I call that impressive. It works for all basic printing needs and they even include two photo quality pages to print on – call that a bonus! Although it doesn't have a physical scanner, the compatible app makes scanning and printing an absolute breeze. I'm so glad I made this purchase and will continue going to b&h for the things I need.Benjamin

DO ***NOT ****BUY!!!! You have been warned!!!!! very bad printer. If you want to use this printer for printing and NOT as a paper weight. Please, look at a different printer. This printer is very hard to setup wirelessly. This printer will power its self off after idle for a time, then, the wireless connection is lost. You then have to go thur and re-set up the wireless connection every time you want to print. I haven't tried to print wired. This printer should work with Amazon Alexa i can't get that to work either. The App is very frustrating making you jump between printers Wi-Fi hotspot and your network and then, the printer times itself out. you have to start over again. I WILL HAVE GREAT SATISFACTION FROM SMASHING THIS PRINTER FOR THE TRASH CAN!!Unhappycustomer
Historically, I’ve struggled with printers. When you need them most, something always goes wrong. What I hate most is when it won’t print a black and white page because I’m out of one of the colored toners. So far, I love this printer. I love that it’s white, not a big ugly black box. If it were a pretty color, I’d love it more. The only thing I haven’t liked is that it turns itself off after several hours. There may be a setting to fix that but I haven’t researched it yet. The toner it came with has lasted quite awhile. I’ve printed labels with color, pages of baby shower games, posters and documents, and so far it isn’t saying its low. It linked with my iphone and MacBook very easily. Haven’t had a single issue.Bcar
I bought this printer despite the many negative reviews I read since they had to do with things like installation or poor wifi connection, and I believe those are not really product issues. I followed the instructions and was able to set up the printer in less than 20 minutes. It has not been a problem for me, and has survived the first month of heavy duty printing since I’m a graduate student and my partner is a teacher. The ink that comes with the printer isn’t much- I’m already basically out of ink- but it’s good to get you started in a pinch. The scanning feature is also great, and using the canon app on my phone makes all the difference controlling the printer as well. High recommend for students or folks who need something slightly above just printer, but don’t need the faxing, double sided printing, or the copying features.JoeLinks

terrible, just utterly terrible. As with every other product, the HP stands for Habitual Problems. Initial setup is annoyingly tedious and overly cumbersome, and that is just getting it connected to your network which it will not remain connected to. Every time you try printing a document you have to reconnect, reset and sometimes just delete your entire connection and go through the entire setup process again. I knew better than to try an HP product. they have always been problems but i decided to give it another shot. Never again. Just stay away from anything HP. The only reason it even gets one star is because you cant give it less.michael
I would stay away from prebuilts, i bought mine with same set up except the r7 3700x. other than cpu and gpu everything else is trash. the case too small with no vents whats so ever to keep system cool. one stick of ram which is terrible for gaming. cpu cooler i wouldnt call it a cooler tbh does nothing and keeps temps high. cant access bios on motherboard. power supply is minimal 80 plus bronze i believe. had to upgrade everything except the cpu and gpu. i bought it in march of 2021 and was my first gaming pc coming from a console. terrible experiance, i wouldve build my own if it wasnt for the lack of parts at the time. please do yourself a fav and build your own and stay away from prebuilt at that price those companies put the cheapest lowest quality parts and charge higher than good quality parts. this would be my first and last prebuild purchase. hope this helps.EJ
The HP Deskjet 2732 is a good all-in-one color printer. This is every printing device you need all in one small, pretty package. This printer is capable of printing, copying, and scanning documents and pictures. The printer I received is mostly white, with indigo (almost a navy-blue color) around the top, excluding the scanner cover. It is a wireless printer and is easily set up by simply using the WPS option on your router. There is a QR code that can be used to easily install this printer on a device such as a phone or tablet. If you want to install the printer on a computer, simply put in the address listed and follow the instructions that are given. This must be the easiest printer I have ever installed! I am a home-schooling mom so I print a lot and have already enjoyed printing some colorful diagrams and schedules that can be used this year! I also frequently copy information I find from outside sources. I have not yet printed pictures but do know that there is various setting under print options so you can choose the quality and size that you want. Picture paper can be used in this printer. There is a slider where you put the paper in that will allow you to adjust in size for picture paper or envelopes. I am incredibly happy with this printer and would recommend it to others!Krissi
