Here's by regime: exfoliate every other day, use a sulphur soap as a cleanser, I place this cream in my palm and add a tip pf water to thin it out into a paste then apply it and add a mint moisturizer and let that air dry. First I cut open the maddening shrink wrap inside the bubble pack, and load 5 swabs, ready to go, into the original brightly colored pack (current product is light green on a white background). With 75 year old hands, I smash the vial with slip joint pliers (30 pair are kept around the campus). As the title says, it is necessary to use the entire swab on each sting. We used to pay for a monthly spray but found out it is so much more toxic and expensive. I have grandchildren and this product is safe when dry and does the job splendidly. I put it on the perimeter of my house indoor and outdoor. I only have to use it indoor about once a year but do it about every three months outside. I put it around the doors and window outdoor. Do not use this version. The battery operated sprayer does not work and they have added soooo many steps in between you can't figure out where the problem is. So to assemble, remove from side of bottle, stretch out the line and flip it into position. Press into the opening until it clicks, switch it over to on. Remove the battery tab (the cut off so the batteries don't go bad), flip out the handle, and flip the nozzle to the correct version (narrow v. broad spray–indoor/outdoor). Then press and hold the switch. Keep waiting and waiting then start trouble shooting a literal F—ing poison. From what I can tell, whatever pump they use lacks the ability to do what it was designed for, making the cool handle, trigger, sprayer, etc. useless. I have yet to finish a jug of this. I've been using this product for years, and it works well to keep ants and spiders out. Years ago, the wand was a hand sprayer, you pumped the handle. Was it a pain after awhile? Yes. But it always worked. Then someone thought they had a better idea, and made a motorized wand. Now, I understand that for the price they couldn't spend a lot of money on making the wand, but on the other hand, it's worthless if it worked. My pug had a dark bald spot on his neck from scratching and I was looking for something that would hopefully heal the area and let his hair grow back. I discovered the skin soother and decided to give it a try and this worked like magic! I ordered the 2 oz stick version and loved it. The application was great. It was very easy and clean to apply overall. I applied it to the area twice a day for two weeks before I was able to start seeing results. The hair started growing back and the dark skin was lightening up and becoming less dry and flaky. At the same time, my dog was scratching at it less so that was a plus. Only thing is this stick was practically gone by my second week. It would not have come close to lasting the month. That being said, I had to order another to see continued results but I ordered the larger tin instead. My only issue with this product is the tin is a lot harder to apply. The texture itself is not as soft and smooth as the stick. I also had to use my own hands to spread it on which I did not like at all. It also gets messy in the tin as my pug sheds so there is now hair stuck in the product. My recommendation to the company would be to have the stick in a larger option and I would gladly purchase that. However, currently I greatly regret purchasing two of the tins instead of the smaller sticks. All in all, this product works and I would buy it again! Lately it's been to the point where I get a welt the size of a quarter and really vicious itching, to the point where I have scars from scratching them open. This is my trusty tool and I bring it out every summer. I have had it for at least three seasons and it’s still working on the original batteries. I tried everything until I tried this AND it quickly resolved my problem! I had a horse that experienced sweet itch (or so I thought) every summer after his hair thinned out. I thought it was the no-see-ums… Fly spray, shampoos, lotions, Swat, antibiotic creams, etc. No relief in sight and the condition was getting worse and worse (skin flaking, terrible itching, and finally hair loss). My various applications (and I tried them ALL) helped, but nothing reversed the problem. Then I tried the SOA… The horse SIGHED as I applied it. It is a little weird to use a bar of soap, but well worth the effort and not as hard as I thought it might be. The sulfer, aloe and glycerin provided soothing and long lasting relief to my guy. I used this salve for a bad case of poison ivy in combination with Marie's Original Poison Ivy/Oak/Sumac Relief Soap, Good Sense Calamine Lotion, and Dr. Mercola's Aloe Vera Gel (all available from Vitacost).
