There is seriously NO OTHER Hyaloronic acid serum like this…. I switch back and fourth at night with propolis and there’s suck. Big difference in the morning in the moisture level and appearance of my skin… it’s crazy. Some people say this is too scented which is insaine to me because all the fragrances are natural fragrance and this one in particular is extremely light and fresh, I honestly don’t smell anything exept freshness and I love it. I love finding such good products but at the same time I’ll never be able to use a different one because no others come close to the benefits of this serum. Immediately after using the product, I broke out on my cheeks. It felt like my skin was burning, too. I thought perhaps it was contact dermatitis with a blanket that had softener on it or something since softeners irritate my skin (albeit I never experienced burning sensations with softener), but after trying this product day & night for 2-3 days, I confirmed it was the serum. My skin is still recovering from the marks of using this product around December 16th. Thankfully it’s not too bad now. This product may be for you, but it wasn’t for me; it’s also the first Hyaluronic serum I’ve tried so I think I’m just going to stay away from those. This was the only Glow Recipe product that made me have such a reaction. I give it 2-stars for packaging, smell, & consistency. subtly brightens skin because of the kakudu plum, something that isn't advertised but welcomed. a decent hyaluronic acid serum, can be sticky. best application is to apply it to a damp face, then allow a minute or 2 for the product to mesh with the water on the skin. then massage the product onto the skin until almost dry. and then spray face with a hydrator (water is fine). water another 2 minutes before massaging the product into the skin again and following with a moisturizer. i find that using an occlusive product (like a face oil) helps to reduce the stickyness. once the products have fully absorbed into the skin (which for me is about an hour) – skin looks bright and plump. it is a bit expensive for a brightening hyaluronic acid serum but it does work. it's also safe for fungal acne prone skin!kajalkumar

Okay so I wanted to give this product 5 stars so bad, but I’m finding it fell a little short of my expectations. There was so much hype around this product , and I received a sample from Sephora one day so I decided to try it. From the one time I tried it I absolutely loved it it was moisturizing and gave me that dewy glow that is really popular nowadays. So because of all that I decided to buy it, but after using it quite a few times I realized it was making me breakout, I’m wondering if the fragrance is what is causing it, because supposedly there is a lot of good ingredients in there. It could be because of my skin type, I have combo/oily skin for reference, or maybe I am sensitive to fragrance, which really sucks because the smell of it is partly why I bought it. It smells delicious like watermelon. I would say if you are not prone to breakouts and are not sensitive to fragrance than this could be a great product for that dewy glow because it does seem to help my skin in other ways but for me it’s not worth it because the breakouts it causes, which makes me have to work on my skin more, with another product. If you have sensitive skin or are prone to breakouts I would choose another product with less fragrance or less breakout causing ingredients, or even just a basic moisturizing product, since if you have oily skin you already kind of have the dewy glow you just have to hone in on it. So when Sephora came out with another one of their "Favorites" sets for $10 and featured the serum in the set I jumped at the chance to try it. It was a mini version, and it came in an all pink tube, which is recyclable. The product itself is pink and gel-like, and smells really good! ***Had to post the sunscreen review under this bc the sunscreen is not showing up 🍉 Glow Recipe Sunscreen SPF50 🍉 First time using it bc I have been using the Cosrx one more consistently. I have dry skin and this one gives me a less dewy finish compared to the cosrx one. For some reason, I even felt like it gave me a semi-matte finish lol😂 (which is not bad too). It’s just the total opposite of what I see on other people’s posts so I had some expectations 🧐😁💕 and was looking for that “dewy finish.” Oily or combination skin types will love this! I have been suffering with hormonal acnes for all most 3 years and I tried every cream or topical treatments but something or the other never worked and I was left with more irritation and inflammation on my face. Niacinamide is a god sent product for me. I have been using this for almost 30 days and it has shown some improvement. It has balanced my oil production and it has reduced water loss from my skin. There is still some inflammation there and I am sure it will go by after continuous usage of the serum. For all the newbies to skincare go for 5% first and then with increased tolerance you can move to 10% . Also if you have tried this and are noticing some tiny red bumps or acnes on your face do not panic, and do not stop using the product, stick to it and the bumps will gradually go with your increased skin barrier. I'm a Dentist and I have to wear my mouth mask(amongst other PPE) on a daily basis as a result of which I've begun to suffer from numerous breakouts localised to the area covered by my mask. After 1 week of use, the texture of my skin started changing and my breakouts started drying up. After 3 weeks of use, the texture of my skin cleared out, pore size visibly reduced also texture of my forehead from wearing a head cap smoothened out. There were good genuine reviews about the product. So I bought Niacinamide 5% to try actually. But today I am taking some time to write a review just because to express how much good the product is and how good my skin felt. Thankyou Minimalist. This review may help people who tend to have sensitive skin. I first tried the Vitamin C serum. The first day went well, then I started using it every day and about the 3rd day of the vitamin C serum, my skin started freaking out, making it itchy, red and dry. This was the first time I had used a strong C serum and I didn`t realize that you should space your days out when first introducing it to your regimen. I contacted their customer service for advice and Erica kindly lead me to the HA serum which has been working fantastic with my skin. She was very helpful and answered every question and concern that I had. Side note: The customer service at this company goes above and beyond and it is very refreshing to speak with representatives of a company that actually listen and care as I`m sure you all know how rare that it these days. It also makes you feel good that you are supporting such a company. Now back to the HA serum. I can see a noticable improvement in my skin. I mainly wanted something that was firming, hydrating and just overall made my skin look better and to my astonishment, this one hit it out of the park which never ever happens for me. I am also incorporating the vitamin C serum once or twice a week now in place of the HA serum and it is going great, no more redness or anything like before now that I am doing it correctly. I thought this might be helpful for people who tend to have sensitive skin at times…don`t ditch the Vitamin C serum! Just slowly introduce it or try the HA serum first which has a lower concentration of the C before going with the 20% strength Vit C serum. If you have very sensitive skin, you may need to start by going every other day with the HA, but for me I did every day right off the bat with no problems. And I do have mild-sensitive and dry skin. But after starting this serum my skin doesn`t even feel or look dry. I look forward to trying more TruSkin products and am thrilled that I found this natural line!
TL;DR – This serum, and the Vitamin C one, -DO- show signs of positively affecting skin long-term. They both just created breakouts for me, so I can`t use them anymore. That doesn`t mean they won`t work well for you.The serum does even out my skin and hydrates it. My skin is sensitive and picky about what I put on it, but this serum doesn`t irritate or inflame it — so it`s gentle.The only downside is that despite it saying it doesn`t clog pores, it makes me break out into tons and tons of blackheads (I`m not exaggerating). I was using it in conjunction with TruSkin`s Vitamin C serum, so I stopped trying each one, one at a time — both separately kept making me break out, and just made it worse when they were used together. I stopped using them entirely and the bad blackheads went away after a few days — so I used them again, and whoop! The blackheads came back with a vengeance. So now I don`t use either at all, so I can`t really tell you long-term benefits of their use.TruSkin`s Retinol cream facial moisturizer doesn`t give me that problem though; it works great. It`s a shame I can`t use these other two.ANYWAY, like I said in the beginning — I was noticing positive changes. I just couldn`t keep using this serum, or the Vitamin C one, long-term because of the severe breakouts. So if you try these serums and they don`t give you blackheads, I definitely suggest keeping at it because I think they`ll be good for your face long-term.

Hyaluronic acid is a humectant (binds to water) and you're supposed to apply it to damp/wet skin after you've washed your face so that the hyaluronic acid binds to the water and clings onto it. Then, you use an emollient moisturizer on top of the hyaluronic acid serum to seal both the hyaluronic acid and water into your skin. It seriously makes a world of a difference if you follow these steps. Your skin will drink in the water, hyaluronic acid, and moisturizer. I like to follow up with an occlusive moisturizer as the "cherry on top" to minimize transepidermal water loss from my skin as much as possible because I have dry and dehydrated skin and prefer the "greasy face" that I affectionately call the "healthy skin" look. But, you don't need the occlusive moisturizer is you prefer a more natural skin finish and don't suffer from dehydrated skin. Honestly, if I could give this item 10 stars I would. I love this hyalauronic acid. I use this everyday morning and night! It makes my skin so tight! Once dry I do a sunscreen(in the morning) or a serum at night. I just want to say most of the reviews are missing some of the best benefits of this moisturizer!!! The combination of ceramides and fatty acids found in this blend are incredible for repairing the skins moisture barrier. It’s definitely not just an average moisturizer! Unfortunately, redness in the skin isn’t always caused by the same condition. This description of this product CLEARLY states that it will help with redness IF it is due to being parched and dehydrated. Sometimes you have a condition that causes redness, sometimes it’s irritation or inflammation or maybe dryness. Glow Recipe kindly gifted their new serum to me to try–which was very exciting–and I immediately started using it when I received it. I don't struggle with a lot of redness but I AM always interested in trying products to help strengthen my skin barrier and improve my overall skin health. For the most part, the ingredients in this formula seem solid which made it more appealing. I've used it both morning and evening and have found that using it at night before bed provides a light amount of overnight hydration that's still noticeable by morning although I wouldn't recommend this solely for hydration. It also works great for me in the morning and doesn't interfere with makeup application over it if I don't use a primer and meshes problem-free with any primer that I've paired with it as well. Unlike some serums that I've used, this one absorbs very quickly and doesn't leave a tacky residue but rather my skin is left with just a soft, hydrated sensation. The packaging is very on-trend with the brand–very cute and appealing–and I appreciate that it's dispensed easily with a pump. In terms of formula, the majority of the ingredients are beneficial with a couple of exceptions; I wouldn't recommend this for those who particularly struggle with acne as it can potentially exacerbate especially fungal acne. It does have a light scent which is derived from natural ingredients rather than added fragrance but this may also be problematic for some. Overall, however, the serum contains a blend of ceramides, lipids, glycerin, niacinamide, and some other reputable elements that have proven to be beneficial. I have dry, sensitive skin, so having a soothing recovery serum in my daily routine is important. More important than I knew… Most people would probably use this kind of serum only AFTER damaging their skin barrier with too many active ingredients or other irritants. But not me. I use it every day as a preventive measure. It is very easy for my skin to become dry, irritated, flaky, and sensitized, but I feel that keeping this serum in my nightly routine has been a gamechanger for me. It seems to help to keep everything copacetic, even when I'm using AHA's, BHA's, and Vitamin C in my routine. Though, I still have to use products wisely, and not overdo it, as anyone should. Love the ceramides. The hit of niacinimide is a huge plus. Oh, and don't forget the glowy, fresh skin. I had a lot of texture on my skin (tiny little bumps), especially around the perimeter of my face, my jawline, and the hollows of my cheeks. I started using a whole Glow Recipe routine (8 products) about 6 weeks ago. The tiny bumps began rapidly disappearing by day 2 or 3, and before the month was out, they were nearly 100% gone. My skin became very smooth and even, and I feel like this product was a huge part of those results. I also stopped having acne breakouts, and any new spots are small, and they come & go very quickly. Though, I used other products from Glow Recipe, this serum seemed to soothe irritation and even everything out the most. On top of all that, this serum has a lovely, creamy texture, which sinks right into the skin. It isn't sticky, and it doesn't leave any weird residue on my skin. The green glass bottle is lux and beautiful, and I love the cleanliness and the dependability of the pump. It plays well with other serums and products, and it doesn't pill. I really like this serum as it's light-weight and gives you such a pretty natural glow. It's not skin-irritating at all which was my problem with some other serums I tried. I subbed in Glow for another facial oil and while I noticed my skin was nice and soft (and that the product smells great) I also started seeing my pores getting really clogged (especially chin & nose). I began developing whiteheads on my chin that weren't there regularly. I was applying Glow as my last step, using 2-3 drops and patting them into my skin, only in the evening. There is seriously NO OTHER Hyaloronic acid serum like this…. I switch back and fourth at night with propolis and there’s suck. Big difference in the morning in the moisture level and appearance of my skin… it’s crazy. Some people say this is too scented which is insaine to me because all the fragrances are natural fragrance and this one in particular is extremely light and fresh, I honestly don’t smell anything exept freshness and I love it. I love finding such good products but at the same time I’ll never be able to use a different one because no others come close to the benefits of this serum. Immediately after using the product, I broke out on my cheeks. It felt like my skin was burning, too. I thought perhaps it was contact dermatitis with a blanket that had softener on it or something since softeners irritate my skin (albeit I never experienced burning sensations with softener), but after trying this product day & night for 2-3 days, I confirmed it was the serum. My skin is still recovering from the marks of using this product around December 16th. Thankfully it’s not too bad now. This product may be for you, but it wasn’t for me; it’s also the first Hyaluronic serum I’ve tried so I think I’m just going to stay away from those. This was the only Glow Recipe product that made me have such a reaction. I give it 2-stars for packaging, smell, & consistency. subtly brightens skin because of the kakudu plum, something that isn't advertised but welcomed. a decent hyaluronic acid serum, can be sticky. best application is to apply it to a damp face, then allow a minute or 2 for the product to mesh with the water on the skin. then massage the product onto the skin until almost dry. and then spray face with a hydrator (water is fine). water another 2 minutes before massaging the product into the skin again and following with a moisturizer. i find that using an occlusive product (like a face oil) helps to reduce the stickyness. once the products have fully absorbed into the skin (which for me is about an hour) – skin looks bright and plump. it is a bit expensive for a brightening hyaluronic acid serum but it does work. it's also safe for fungal acne prone skin!kajalkumar

I have been using these face serums for about a month now and literally my skin has never looked better. I'm a huge skincare buff. I normally use products from drunk Elephant and Cerave but so far this has replaced that. I put a drop of each serum needed into my palm after cleansing and than just pay it in on my face and neck. Instantly my skin looks better. The only problem I have with these serums is that they have a bit of a smell that is unpleasant. It's mostly the glow one. But it's all understandable because they are natural but ugh that glow one smells rough 😂kaitlyn.m

So my mom gave me this product thinking it might help me! I�m 36 and I have PCOS with acne prone skin, dryness, irritation etc. I was getting puffiness around the eyes, not to mention my forehead lines and laugh lines were becoming more pronounced.
