I read about Reserveage Collagen Booster by Reserve Life Nutrition in Vogue Magazine and was intrigued about it's anti-aging claims and the glowing reviews. The first thing I did was go to their website to read the actual ingredients and dosage. I realized that I was already taking many of these ingredients although the type of collagen seemed unique and it was a higher dosage of hyaluronic acid. So, I started taking the same ingredients in Doctor's Choice brand which worked great – skin seemed more hydrated and healthier. One month I decided to go ahead and purchase this Reservage product to see how it compared. I didn't feel or look any differently than using the same ingredients in Doctor's Choice! The special ingredient in Reserveage that they feel is extra beneficial is Resveratrol from grapes/wine. I drink red wine as per my cardiologist and do not feel the supplement in Reservage had any extra benefit. I did go back to purchasing the actual supplements within Reserveage Collagen Booster since it was much cheaper.
This product I took it long long time ago, and I remember it made my face brighten up, it just gave me very healthy skin and overall nice looking. I don’t know why I stop but maybe because of bit high price. Now I am 61 years old and I said why not try again… so started taking it and it’s in my 2nd bottle and it’s looking good. I quickly received collagen after the order. It is easy to work with IHERB store. 5 STARS. I have been taking collagen from different manufacturers for several years. New Chapter Hair, skin and nails is non gmo and vegan which is important to me because, in my opinion, supplements should be "clean". Too many companies use gelatin or cheap fillers. New Chapter supplements are fermented so your body can readily use the nutrients. I did notice my nails were a bit stronger after about a week. After 1 month I noticed that I gained weight – around 2 kilos. Just so you know I have fast metabolism and it's not that easy for me to gain weight unless I eat like really a lot! I believe it's mostly due to water retention, but even when I try to cut down my portions it doesn't help much. If you read the testimonials you'll see that biotin has such side effect. Also noticed some breakouts around my neck area. On a positive note: I noticed that my nails are stronger now. This Maxi Hair formula is slightly weaker than the version that has 120 capsules in terms of biotin. Here the ingredient is only 2000 mcg, but dosage is only 2 capsules per day, which is convenience.The same rich composition and good quality. Great product with good results. Capsules are medium size, they are easy to swallow. I suffered from severe hairloss after COVID. Maxi Hair vitamins helped me to see visible results at the end of the usage of the first bottle. Small thick hairs were visible and my hair got visibly longer and thicker (I dye my hair and I see how fast the hair grows during the month). The only thing that is not too convenient is that there are 4 capsules and the usage should be regularly split during the day. I received this product free from Country Life and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. First impression? Nice clean packaging the bottle was glass which I liked and it looked good quality. After further use, the capsules were on the bigger side which was not my favorite but I liked that they didn’t smell fishy or weird (no scent unless you really stuck your nose in there). I took this supplement before and understanding as with most vitamins and supplements in order for them to remain effective, or to see the benefits, you must keep taking them and this one is no exception. About 3 weeks after I tried them for about 3 months I noticed my hair texture change and thinning started again. I kicked myself and couldn't order the next bottles quick enough. 5 months later, I'm finally back to where I was the first time around. Unfortunately none of the products worked for me. I’ve been taking the DHT blocker, NutraM, EFA complete, NutraM serum, and using the laser cap twice weekly (basically, every product available) for several months yet none of these products have made a difference in my hair shedding or regrowth. Granted, my case is an unusual one, but nevertheless I was hopeful in this company and there image. I understand hair recovery isn’t something that happens overnight, but many of the products imply seeing results within a 3-6 month range, (I’ve been on them longer.) I’m a 56 year old woman and the last couple of years I’ve noticed clumps of hair in the tub everytime I shower. I do have long hair but the clumps of hair fall was something new. With my age there’s hormonal changes that affects my hair fall and baldness runs on the male side of my family. Eventhough I’m a female I also noticed my 2 older sisters have thinning hair as well. Many good things to say about this awesome oil also a little downside. The oil is super thick and sticky. U might want to mix it with other essential oils like lavender or peppermint for hair growth. It makes the scent better as well. I had thinning hair and now it’s very thick n healthy. The bottle could have been better as oil would sip out n make the whole bottle sticky. Had a problem of hair falling out. Thanks to this product new baby hair are growing. As I hate this structure because is very thick and sticky. I took a coconut oil and shea butter, heated it up and made a mixture together with black castor oil. I apply it once a week before going to bed, massage into scalp and then I put the shower cap on the hair. Leave overnight. When wake up, wash it properly! And hair feels nice and fresh and new! As a 1 year user of Timeless Hyaluronic Acid, I trust the Timeless line for quality and decided to try out the Pure Line Argan Oil as a compliment to the HA with the hope of replacing my existing skin cream. I ordered the 4oz refill size as it was a good $$ value (Shipping to Ontario is about 2 weeks for anyone who is wondering). I would have ordered the larger bottle, but wanted to make sure I liked it first. So, I have been using the oil for 1 week now, and it is a positive experience for the most part. The oil is very light and unscented which I love as I have allergic reactions to strong scent. It also absorbs so fast that I find I have to be very quick to apply it or it will absorb into my fingers before I get it to my face. Still, even if I have to use a little extra, I am only using about 3-4 drops maximum. I try to apply it to the driest areas of my face first (for me, this is the T-zone), then massage the rest all over the face. Any left over residue is massaged into my cuticles and finger nails. I apply it on cleansed skin, before bed and after applying the HA as the Argan oil is absorbed with the acid and helps to seal the HA into the skin. There is no greasy feeling or worry about staining the pillow because both disappear into the skin within a minute or so. In the morning, my skin feels soft and smooth. It is not necessary to use face wash when showering, water is enough. I apply the HA again, immediately after showering when my face is still damp and follow with 1-3 drops of Argan Oil. Within a minute or two, I can apply foundation. My skin feels soft all day even in the harsh dry air of my office. I have had no adverse effects from the oil, so no redness or break-outs and I have very sensitive allergic skin. My only complaint is that I cannot afford a truck-load of the stuff to fill my bathtub so that I could soak in it! I also bought the Hyaluronic Acid Vit. I started using Wow products 3 weeks ago and can see a definite change in my hair and skin! I sought out Wow because my hair was thinning and falling out. Im not sure if it was my diet changes or my age (49) that caused the fall out but it didnt matter. My hair is now growing, getting thicker and healthier. I haven't seen a change in fall out yet but I have no doubt these products will eventually stop it. Right now my hair is full and wavy so I dont really notice the thinning as much. I use the coconut shampoo and condition with saw Palmetto twice a week after the onion oil. I use according to directions and rinse with cool water. Afterward I use the leave in conditioner. I've been enjoying using this product instead of mascara for fuller lashes. Sometimes I do a scalp treatment, followed by a conditioner rinse, then a shampoo out, and conditioner again. I also put it on my feet at night for a great night's sleep. People do castor oil packs on their liver with this–I don't bother with that messy procedure. Castor oil has been around for many years. I’ve always heard of my older generations in my family using this product. I tried it out and generally use a pea size amount for my full face/brows. I apply a small amount to my face massage in an upwards motion and apply the remaining oil to my lashes and brows. My skin has not had any breakouts and feels hydrated. My brows/lashes on the other hand are so soft and seem thicker. I use this for eyebrow eyelash and hair growth. Yes it works! Without question. My loss has been somewhat extreme so the regrowth is very obvious. I only put it on the scalp though with an eye dropper and rub it in. If you already have hair loss I wouldn’t recommend combing it through your hair. As the consistency is like honey and it will likely pull out more hair and it’s hard to wash out. A drop in eyes before bed is wonderful for dry eye. For oil pulling. This works better than any oil I have used. Only 2-5 minutes. Rather than 15-20 with others. I find if I do longer than 5 minutes my mouth get irritated. The first couple times I used it my gums got very puffy and sore and I was concerned but I think it may have been part of the healing process because after the first couple days it was fine and my normally inflamed mouth began to heal. I have extreme toothpaste allergies and it’s been a nightmare. As a moisturizer on body and face it helps to heal and I find as thick as it is it still doesn’t break me out. As a castor oil pack. Lovely for detox, cysts and fibroids. As a laxative I find it doesn’t give me any side effects like cramping. All of the otc stimulant laxatives have given me terrible side effects and this just gave me a gentle bm. I know some people claim it tastes terrible but I don’t find it has much taste. What it didn’t work for that others have claimed: Lips. It makes my lips VERY irritated. Dry heels. Found no change. I’m considering trying the Jamaican black for hair but I just like the idea of the fact this is organic. And it IS working for me for hair growth. I have thicker brunette hair that is about six inches past my shoulders and pretty smooth and easy to deal with. I was recently wanting to try something new for heat protectant. I had high hopes for this, but it made my hair feel SO dry and hair to manage. I usually wear my hair in a clip, and I let the ends flop over the clip. I started using these vitamins after being told about them by not one, but TWO dermatologists out of separate offices where I have gotten my routine skin checks. I went ahead and tried it despite the hefty price tag (about $80 per bottle which is a one month supply). The bottle contains 120 capsules, so four pills a day. According to the label the potency is so high that I went ahead and started using half of the recommended dose, or two pills a day instead of four. Since I have acne prone skin I didn’t want to take an excessive amount of biotin which can make my acne worse (and deeper). Just two pills a day for almost one month and I have baby hairs growing back where my hairline has been receding! It’s incredible! Pills are easy to swallow, great ingredients with no clean fillers. I will continue to use for at least the next six months to decide if I should continue, depending on regrowth or thickness which will hopefully come back. This is a great product for thinning hair. Im going natural in the process my hair was shedding a lot Im a 2 week time frame I notice and a difference when I went to the hair salon plus my hair isnt shedding as much. The only side effect I have is a itchy scalp which I use a light biotin oil or whatever you choose. I Highly recommend this this product!mmay7219
