Aveda products have a great reputation and is a well known stable product. I tried this shampoo for approximately 6 months and it didn't suit my curly/wavy hair. Nice looking professional packing that smells delightful. Unfortunately I am unable to list and visible benefits to the appearance/texture of my hair so promptly stopped using it. So sorry to say this isn't for me, we are all different. I would recommend try before you buy if possible. I personally will not be using again. I have been using the Coconut & Hibiscus Shampoo for a month now. I really like the coconut scent, it lathers really well and I was very pleased that a little goes a long way as I have very long and thick hair. I wash my hair every 3rd day, but I wet my hair and condition it every day. I have been using the Shea Moisture Curl & Shine Coconut & Hibiscus Conditioner the 2nd day. I always use leave in conditioner but that day I had to use double the amount of what I normally use. Otherwise my hair felt & looked dry & frizzy. The product definitely did help with detangling my hair, not totally, but to a great enough degree where I was pleased. I didn’t notice any improvement in shine though. I was hoping to experience much more of an overall difference from all the various products I have used in the past. No huge noticeable difference, and more expensive than what I currently use. I love that Shea Moisture Curl & Shine Coconut & Hibiscus Shampoo contain no silicones, parabens, no phathalates, no petrolatum & no mineral oil. So I really enjoyed using the product on both my baby girl and my own hair. Because we have very very different hair types, I noticed some important things. She has a healthy head of very fine, very varied coil curls. The shampoo worked great on very wet hair, it lathered well for a clarifying shampoo without turning her hair into dry grass. I rinsed twice to make sure the water ran well and clear. The conditioner was light and moisturizing, as promoted. I took the time to work it into all strands while damp to slightly wet with a curly hair wet brush. Afterward rinsing the conditioner lightly, I put in the styling cream. Here I realized I'd put in way too much, but the effect was still very good. Her curls were less prone to tangling, moisturized and made beautiful defined coils. My hair is fine but wavy, not curly. However my hair is super dry. I like using heavily moisturizing products from time to time to feed my hair. The products were too heavy for fine straighter hair, but it really moisturized heavily. My hair has a healthy strong feel and a beautiful glisten that it has after a moisturizing hair mask. Overall, on straighter finer hair, I'd say use the conditioner thoroughly but rinse very well and easy on the styling cream. I didn't experience any waxiness anywhere.Thali22

I really wanted to like this product! I was excited to try it, It smells greattt! But I naturally have super thick/long hair and it did not do a good job of making my hair feel clean. My hair still felt dirty, greasy and itchy when I got out of the shower. It also produces very little suds, which is something I need a lot of to properly clean my thick hair. I even reapplied it, and tried to emulsify it while in the shower and still nothing. It might be a good one for some, but for all my thicker haired gals, this isn't the one. Just a heads up!Karigan
I work at Ulta so naturally I love trying different products. Since it’s close to summer I wanted to stop styling my hair and instead start wearing it natural (in the summer it’s just way too hot to style my thick hair and the humidity makes it not last anyways!). However, I have wavy hair with the potential to be curly with the right shampoo/ styling products. So, I wanted to try the coconut curls line to see if I could enhance my waves/ curls and it worked! I brought this product for a cheaper alternative. I was really disapointed with the results and damage ir had done to my hair. It made me lose hair, made my hair dry and frizzy. Although it smells nice its completly ruined my curls and turned them back to frizz. Not a good product. Shea moistuer is amazing!! It is just quite expensive! This range is Rich in fatty acids and vitamins, I always want products that have a lot to offer. The formula has a high percentage of biodegradable ingredients. I dyed and damaged my hair so much (over the course of 2yrs) to the point where my hair didn’t wave even a little bit. I tried Nat*reLab T*kyo’s repair line for ~1yr and while it did help with the damage, it couldn’t bring my waves back, and I had MAJOR silicone buildup on my hair and scalp (yuck!). Back in May (2021) I started using this shampoo along with the super smooth cream conditioner, and my hair has never looked better. After just ONE wash, my hair had more body and volume than ever before, and over the past few months, my waves have been coming back 🙂 They look more uniform, less frizzy, and honestly curlier than they did even before I damaged my hair. The bottle looks small, but the shampoo has lasted me 3.5 months so far and there’s still enough left for me to keep using it for 1-2 more months. I’m very happy I found these products and I hope y’all never change the formula lol. (side note: my hair has also grown about 6 inches since I started using this! I always thought my hair was just slow to grow, but this has really sped it up).A T.
I follow a modified Curly Girl Method, basically I just use approved products but have to diffuse my hair since it would take all day to dry and I don't have time for that. I have fine, thin/sparse hair that needs shampoo every wash (which is two to three times a week). I got this because I have done everything suggested to combat frizz but nothing worked. I wanted an actually CG approved and tested product. I am still having issues but since I've started diffusing my hair about 10-15 minutes after getting out of the shower my frizz has gone down a little. Maybe I just have frizzy hair and no amount of anything will help, but I thought I'd try clarifying too. This product smells nice and is not overpowering. Maybe if you are sensitive to smells it still might bother you but I think you should at least try it. It doesn't linger post shower and maybe only a trace scent is left. I have short hair (just above chin length when curly) so I don't very often catch wiffs of my hair. I only know this because I used this before I got my hair cut (it was halfway down my neck when curled so some hair in the front could reach my nose for me to smell). It does not dry out my hair and even before using conditioner I can run my fingers through my hair when putting conditioner in–not completely tangle free but a lot better than what I had used before (Shea Moisture Clarifying something or other). Also, my hair does not feel squeaky clean which is great and allows an easier time of putting in conditioner. My hair feels clean but not striped of natural oils, which is exactly as I had hoped! I will say it does not lather up a lot and since I wear glasses and can't see well enough without getting super close to a mirror I probably use more than you need. I use enough so I can see the lather and it is minimal. I like that the bottle is a concentrated squirt top so you can easily get it to your scalp. I would definitely buy this again! It will last quite a while since you don't clarify often (I do twice a month and may drop off to once a month if I see better results with the rest of my routine.) Ever since I started embracing my curls/waves and started the curly girl method I've been on the look out for products that work with my hair. I came across Bounce Curl after hearing so many good things about it across social media. I don’t really write reviews unless I see that a product actually works and it lives up to what it claims to do, so after trying this shampoo several times I thought that I’d share my personal experience so far. Not only has this shampoo brought in the moisture my hair craves but it has also reduced the amount of frizz my hair experiences. I must admit I was a little nervous trying this shampoo because my scalp tends to flake due to dryness however, I was very pleased with the results. Frankly, I was in awe because after my first wash, there was no sign of flaking in my scalp which happens a lot with other products. This in fact was the first shampoo that moisturizes and cleansed my scalp without over-stripping. I truly appreciate the clean and high quality ingredients Bounce curl utilizes and their dedication and care that reflects through their happy customers and results most importantly. I think that Bounce Curl lives up to the hype and I'm more than happy to continue to use their products. As a reference, I have high density hair, medium thick hair, and dry-prone hair (high-porosity perhaps) so this shampoo was perfect. I don't blow dry nor do I dye my hair. I use hair creams and sometime flexible styling hair sprays not related to this brand. With that said, with this shampoo I sometimes have to lather twice to really feel like I fully removed any hair products, other than that, this shampoo does lather well & has a soft smell to it. It's winter here at the moment and this shampoo is not helping with my winter dandruff, which it's okay, I scalp detox once a week & that helps for a while, not this brand either, but I'm mentioning it incase you think it helps moisturize your scalp. This curl cream would be great for you if you’re not looking to have too much hold in your hair. It’s thick, but it doesn’t create a very strong cast for me. As you can see, my hair is already frizzing at the roots and it’s not completely dry yet. There’s no cast to scrunch out. The pump is also really hard to use and only dispenses like a dime size of product with each pump, which means I need to pump twice just to get enough for one section of hair. It is very hydrating, so I can’t knock it down too much, but it is probably my least favorite ouidad product, which is saying a lot because I LOVE ouidad. I got the Husk curl care detangling conditioner and it left my hair easy to manage. The consistency of the conditioner was just right. Not too thick but not too runny. It applied well and evenly to my hair. The conditioner coated the strands and wasn't messy. I usually let conditioner sit on my hair with a plastic cap for 10-20 minutes. I was able to comb through my hair with minimal tangles and the small ones I had were easy to get through. My hair felt soft and moisturized. The conditioner is vegan and had no sulphates or parabens. It's complete with coconut oil, argan oil, and vitamin to give my hair what it needs to be manageable and look great.Ajann1983

I have curly, frizzy extremely dehydrated hair. First of all, this conditioner smells like a a coconut punch to your nose. If you dislike fragrance, this will not suit you. If you hate coconut, smelling this will make you faint. I do not mind gentle coconut smell, but this perfume is too strong. However, I got used to the smell over time, so now I no longer notice it. The performance, however, is nothing special. I noticed that my hair became even more frizzy than before, and not moisturized at all. The dispenser is horrible. The dispenser hole is extremely small, and I must exercise in order to get a good amount of product in my hand. Do not try taking out the dispenser, because the product is like a clump of clay and will not exit the bottle without the dispenser. Just use the pump until you give up. This Pacifica Pineapple Conditioner is a great followup to the shampoo to lock in the right nourishment to produce the curls you need. It made my hair come back to life after hair dyes had caused damage of dryness and lifeless hair. It’s more youthful because it’s shiny, wavy and soft again! It actually works as promised! I just started my natural curly hair journey from when I started damaging it as a teenager! I feel like this shampoo was highly recommended and I just could get enough of how amazing it smells! I just finished this bottle and I'm sorry to say I won't buy it again. The shampoo itself is ok but I feel like it weighs my hair down. But I am hating this new container designs. It arrived leaking within the plastic bag. And then somehow, the bottle continued to leak from the top even though I had it stored upright. By the time I finished the bottle, the whole thing had a thick coating of shampoo on it. AND there's no way to open the top to add a little water to get all of the product out. I have to admit, I was a bit hesitant to try the , as it is intended for those with curly, thick hair. My hair is straight and fine. However, I often struggle with finding good conditioners because my hair is very long and tangles really easily. When trying this product, I really loved it! It left my hair feeling soft, detangled, and smelling amazing. The conditioner is thick in consistency, but is easy to apply to my long hair. A little went a long way. I love all the nourishing and moisturizing ingredients in this conditioner, which bring a little taste of the tropics to the dry climate where I live. I have tried out several of Maui Moisture’s conditioners, and this coconut oil one is BY FAR my favorite! This conditioner has an AMAZING tropical/fruity/clean fragrance to it. It has a medium thick consistency to it, which I prefer over being too runny, or too thick making it difficult to squeeze out of the bottle. I leave this conditioner on while I am performing the rest of my shower routine. This way I can give the conditioner enough time to soak into my freshly shampooed hair. I have pretty dry hair so this coconut oil conditioner does it wonders. Once it has been on my hair for a sufficient amount of time high brush it out under the running water. I have very tingle prone hair but this conditioner makes detangling a breeze. After rinsing out the product I am left with silky smooth hair that smells amazing. My mom has thick, coarse hair so I had her try out this conditioner as well. She too was left with beautiful, silky hair after using this conditioner! I have wavy hair and this conditioner really brought out and defined my wave pattern. I think this would be a lovely conditioner for others with wavy to curly hair. Hair background: I have medium to high density hair. My hair is medium porosity type 4a natural hair. Product: This conditioner has a thick consistency. it is white and has a very pleasent scent. in terms of the packaging I wish it was bigger because you tend to use more conditioner than shampoo as a curly girl. so I would change the packaging to be bigger and also an upside down packaging to help with product flow. Product on natural hair: Not sure if it is safe for color treated hair. However it worked well on my un-color treated hair. This conditioner is not as conditioning as other conditioners which is the main reason why I rated it as I did. it absorbs very well into my dehydrated hair but it didnt condition it well. It also did not have alot of slip and I found detangling my hair with flowing water easier than detangling my hair with this conditioner. it is an overall ok conditioner for natural hair but it needs a follow up leave in conditioner. Wash Day Delight with @carolsdaughter and @influenster. Received this free product to try for my honest opinion. The Pros: The Wash Day Delight water to shampoo has to be one of the coolest shampoo and conditioner products I have ever tried. The shampoo has a twist up precision nozzle allowing you to place the product in specific spot. I was able to target exactly where I wanted to place the shampoo on my scalp before working the shampoo into a lather. The shampoo rinses away leaving no residue. The formula does remove all product build up The Jelly to Cream conditioner is quite the same. The jelly like consistency affords you time to pay particular attention to your roots and ends and all while working the conditioner into a smooth creamy lather. The conditioner rinses clean and leaves no residue. The bonus…this conditioner acts as a detangler too. Which is perfect for girls like me who struggle with knots and tangles after washing my natural curls. The Cons: As awesome as this product is, it’s not my perfect match. The shampoo had a drying affect on my hair. While washing I felt my hair was drying out. After the first rinse my hair felt crunchy. The conditioner feels so nice and creamy, but it’s detangling properties were no match for my tangled strands. Final word: I really like this shampoo and conditioner. I was so very excited when I saw these products because I had heard so much about the brand and I really wanted to try it. However, my experience was not as I hoped that it would be. Pros: I absolutely LOVE the packaging of both the water-to-foam Shampoo and the Dream Detangler Jelly-to-Cream Conditioner. The nozzel of the Shampoo bottle was wonderful and very easy to get the product distributed. The wide opening of the conditioner jar, without the sharp edge that usually shapes your fingers after you try to get some product out of the container, made it very easy to scoop out the product with my hand. Cons: The smell was not to my liking (sorry), but the biggest issue is how dry and brittle my hair was after the wash. It sounded as if I was trying to wash out a plastic bag. Super crunchy and very worrisome for both myself and the person whoms hair I was washing. I was hoping that the conditioner would help but it did not. There was a little bit of softness once I applied it but it did not help much when I was detangling the hair both with my fingers and a a wide tooth comb. Also, so much hair came out when I was finally able detangle the very small sections that I had to work with because the hair was not detangling much with this conditioner. 😓😔 Disclamer: I am a Cosmetologist and I tried this product on 3 different curly hair types [3B (soft curls), 4A (curly hair) and my hair a 4C (super curly) with similar results on all 3. I have really long somewhat thick wavy hair (below my butt) and this is the best thing I have found to wash my hair with. It's such a light gentle cleanser and lasts me well over a month per bottle. If it doesn't last you that long then you are using too much. I read the other reviews and had some thoughts. If you apply under running water, it'll all wash away before you can lather it. Just apply outside the water stream then pop you head back under and it'll lather nicely. I also only use this on my scalp to preserve my natural oils on my hair. (the shampoo washes down hair length anyway when you rinse) If you are used to silicone shampoos then I can see why ppl think this is drying. Give your hair some time to detox from other silicone products and it shouldn't feel dry anymore. As for the frizz comments…. it's a cleanser, not meant to control frizz. Follow up with a nice silicon free conditioner. (I like Not Your Mother's: Activated Charcoal and Purple conditioner) This product leaves my hair feeling light and bouncy and smells amazing too! I opened the shampoo, and the smell of refreshing coconuts filled up my bathroom. I put a generous amount in my hand and scrubbed my scalp a few times before I started to rinse.I closed it and placed it on the side of my bathtub. As I reached out and grabbed the conditioner, I noticed the shampoo top could not close tightly. However, the top itself never closed tightly again. I received the L'Oréal Ever dandruff shampoo, conditioner and micro scrub complementary from Influenster for testing and reviewing purposes. I started using the products a week ago and wanted to give it a great test before reviewing and I honestly have to say this is the BEST shampoo, conditioner I've ever used for dandruff!!! I have tried many other brands and this one really done the job. I had never used a micro scrub before and I honestly think that it helps better to use it before shampooing and using your conditioner. So I received the L'Oreal Ever Curl Vox Box had the opportunity to test out the shampoo, conditioner and cream gel for free. I have naturally wavy/curly hair, nothing too curly, but my hair definitely isn't straight. I expected these products to really boost my curls and make them less of a crazy mess. Because my curls are so wild and messy, I typically straighten my hair to get everything under control. So when I first used this product, I was pleased with the smell. It's very refreshing and light. The shampoo was very thick and I had to splash some water on my hands to get the shampoo to loosen up. Everything was easy to get out of my hair I did not notice any residue in the morning (I always sleep at night). I was dissappointed that when I woke up, my curls were no different then they would be without that shampoo. However, my hair was a noticeably softer. The smell of the shampoo also lingered around throughout the day, which was great. I actually really like this conditioner. The first time I bought it, I didn't. I decided to give it another try and k actually really like it. I use it as a rinse out and when I "squish to condish". I feel more comfortable using this for squish to condish rather than a normal rinse out conditioner because those are not meant to be left in the hair and this one is. I do rinse this out though. I really wanted to love this product and I did in the first month of using it. I applied it in the shower and brushed through it really easily, it helped revive my waves, and I really liked the smell. Unfortunately after about a month of use I started noticing really bad dandruff at the front of my hairline, big dandruff flakes, and the nape of my neck was itch. Then I started getting this weird buildup on my hair after the shower. My hair just felt really tacky, when I tried to brush through it, it got tangled immediately because it was sticking to itself, I even noticed some white buildup on my brush. So the next time, I washed the brush, washed my hair with a clarifying shampoo, and made sure to wash out the conditioner well…really well. And it still left this really sticky gross buildup on my hair. It was almost impossible to even run my fingers through. I shampooed my hair twice with a clarifying shampoo and went back to one of my old conditioners and my hair is pretty much back to normal. There is still maybe one part that is still a little sticky/tacky so I'll have to wash it again. Maybe this works for some people, it just didn't work for me. First off I love Kerastase hair products. However I have wasted money accidentally purchasing shampoos by them containing sulfates so this shampoo made me happy and as an added bonus, this is formulated for curly hair! I have no idea what type of hair I have but it’s basically wavy and frizzy not coiled curly but curly wavy if that makes any sense? I have not used this shampoo without using the conditioner that goes along with it so I can’t speak to how this works without it but I feel like a hair care works best when they are paired with their are complementing product and for my hair the shampoo along side the conditioner works really well. My hair is soft it smells great and unlike some sulfate free shampoos the stuff lathers is up really well in the shower! so for me this is a five-star product and I have nothing bad to say about it. I don’t use curl enhancing products to actually enhance my curls I use them to hydrate because I tend to blow dry my hair straight so again can’t speak to how well it’s curling my hair but I can tell you that my hair definitely feels more hydrated and the more hydrated your hair is the more your curls will bounce and shine and look pretty. I did receive this shampoo as part of a promotion so it was free but these are my actual results it’s not like your product will be confiscated unless you give it a five star review lol.KarenKitties
I received a free sample of this to try and review. My hair has a curl when air-dried, so I was hoping this would be a better alternative to using gel and a diffuser for volume. I tried this three different ways. I used this as an add-on to my dry hair that was curly first. It made my hair seem oily, so I definitely wouldn't use it that way, even though the curls stayed. The second way I used it was adding it to damp hair and letting my hair air dry. This actually loosened my curls and left them less defined, which I didn't like. They did stay the same all day, and the smell was nice. No oily feeling and probably the best way of using it. The last way was using my diffuser after applying this to damp hair. I lost almost all of the curl with this product in when I used the diffuser. I'd say if you add this to damp hair and let it airdry, it will give you the best results. I prefer the way my hair looks with a mousse more than this for sure. It may work better only very curly hair.nd1129
I want to love this product, it really is amazing, but it weighs my hair down on day 3 and over. I typically wash my hair once a week, but when I use this I have to wash at least three times a week, which I hate because I lose more hair! My hair is fine so I’m sure that doesn’t help, maybe if I had thicker hair this wouldn’t pose an issue. It smells amazing and can compliment any perfume you may wear. It definitely defines curls and/or waves and holds them in all day! It doesn’t too much stop the frizz though; I found my hair just as frizzy as before. Overall, if you have fine or thin hair with deep waves or curls and wash daily or every other day, this product is for you!! However, if you don’t wash often, probably not the best choice as you will need to use it daily for curl refreshing and it doesn’t layer up well for daily use on the same (unwashed) hair. I did only have to use two pumps for my mid-back length hair, so a little does go a very long way!CCharityC

Ladies, you have to use the WHOLE system to see true results. Can't just use shampoo and conditioner to see much of a difference. Pending on your curl type, you need to use the finishing products after the shampoo and conditioner. I was skeptical at first, so I purchased the "Starter Kit" for my curl type. When I used all 4 products together, WOW!!!!! My curls have never looked so good! It's not cheap when you go into buying all 4 in full size… But, oh so worth it! I've recommended this line to several people, and they have all agreed with me you have to use the entire line to really get the full benefit, especially the Curl Defininf Gel. For years I worked laboriously to smooth, straighten, transform my natural curly hair. I finally gave in, as my hair grew more & more silver and a different texture! So I embraced my curly hair and started the process of finding quality products. I found them , but they all smelled exactly the same! Then I saw an ad for Living Proof Curl Products. Absolutely no coconut, beach smell!.. just fresh flowers, gentle breezes, with a hint of a subtle spice that smells like sunshine!! I was very excited to try Living Proof Curl Shampoo since I had heard positive things about the brand, but was hesitant to purchase since it’s a little higher end. I have very frizzy, full, curly hair. It’s also dry from coloring and heat styling and some of the curl shape has been lost from Keratin treatment from years ago and constant straightening. Some curl styling products don’t do much for my hair. I was SO impressed with this product. I have had an issue lately when I comb my wet hair. I typically wore my hair straight and now that I’ve been wearing it naturally curly, sometimes I just twist it into a bun and this seems to give me a lot of tangles. Lately after showering, despite combing my wet hair immediately, I have bad tangling and knotting. This also results in more hair coming off on my comb. However, after using this shampoo in conjunction with the Living Proof Curl Conditioner, I didn’t have this problem. I was so happy that I didn’t have a tough time combing my wet hair and have a bunch of hair come out. It was so much easier to comb through my hair and miraculously I didn’t have an abundance of tangles or knots. The smell is so pleasant as well and my hair even held the scent the following day. Why is this deep conditioner only 8oz's????? Everyone Knows how important deep conditioning is for natural hair.So Why Is This Deep Conditioner only 8ozs? I Feel Deep Conditioning is just as important as co-washing. I deep condition twice a week which is a MUST for my type of hair . I have 4c, past shoulder length hair. I don't understand why the co-wash is 16 & 32oz's but the deep conditioner is only 8ozs. I have have low porosity hair so moisture and deep conditioning is important for my hair. I always have to purchase 2 jars and even that is hardly enough. It's sad because this product do well for my hair. But it's an inconvenience to have to purchase 2.I Actually love this product but I reach for another brand more often because they give you way more then 8ozs. So please make this product at least 16ozs. It's actually my favorite deep conditioner but I don't use it as of as I would like because running out of product and having to purchase more then one is an invoice. This product is great but only if your hair is properly cleansed beforehand. Even with proper cleansing, this deep conditioner deposits the right amount of moisture. Otherwise, it can be mediocre in the moisturizing department. If you’re looking for something that will make your hair super soft, I recommend something thicker and/or more moisturizing. My other gripe is how little product one gets for the price. I wish they had more for the price for sure.
The product is scented like a coconut meringue to me. It has quite a thick texture but doesn´t weigh my hair down or leave a greasy film. Also it makes my fly aways a lot less and with having very dry and damaged hair it has definetly helped a lot. It also didn´t irritate my dry scalp and I use this 2 times a week under a cap. The only downside is that it comes in a jar which isnt great in the shower and you cant really detangle your hair with this conditioner. You also have to use quite a bit to cover your whole hair but I also have pretty long, thick and curly hair so it might just be me.maria.e

I'm going to try to explain this in a way that makes since… ok stay with me. For the longest time the only way I could wash my hair was in the shower because it allowed my hair to flow in the natural direction (towards the back). I couldn't sink wash anymore because flipping my hair in the reverse direction (towards the front, forehead) would knot and tangle my hair. Detangling would always be a headache after sink washes, so eventually I gave up. Before this product I would have to use an abundance of conditioner just to detanagle my hair. BUT BAAABY!!! this shampoo right HERE!!!! I can now shampoo my hair in the sink again and easily detangle it without conditioner! This for me is a big deal because it allows me to cleanse my hair any time of day I want and not solely around showers. ( I know it may not mean much to some, but there's a method to my madness). My hair is very manageable after using this shampoo. It smells great too. Let me also add that my hair was slightly damaged prior to using this (plus other Mane choice products) and my curls are BACK and popping! These products have brought my hair back to life I couldn't be happier.
Using the shampoo my hair felt like a cloud, now no I've never touch a cloud but I imagine it's quite soft and fluffy. Now don't get me wrong I'm a garnier girl at heart and no I'm not going to switch out my maoke syrup shampoo for this yet completely but its s definite kicker. Love how my hair felt after the very however I think an ingredient in it awoke my dandruff, disaster. This probably happened because I decided to dive into the line using nothing but pink lemonade my hair probably couldn't handle the drastic change. Who knows definitely not me all ik is I'm back on sulphur8 hoping to take this beast once again. For the conditioner I didn't find it to have much slip for detangling, I didn't have an issue as once my hair gets water it detangles but more slip needed. This is really fantastic shampoo. My hair has been really prone to getting tangled lately and since I've been using this shampoo it's been much easier to comb. It's also one of the few shampoos that entirely gets rid of my frizz. My hair stays very soft for days afterwards. The only reasons I didn't give it five stars is because it isn't available in a bigger bottle like most brands have. Most brands have a regular size bottle and a 'jumbo' size one. My hair is down to my hips so it doesn't take long for me go through a bottle (usually about two weeks or so). I would love to have a bigger size so I don't have to constantly go out and buy it.DLS

This curl cream would be great for you if you’re not looking to have too much hold in your hair. It’s thick, but it doesn’t create a very strong cast for me. As you can see, my hair is already frizzing at the roots and it’s not completely dry yet. There’s no cast to scrunch out. The pump is also really hard to use and only dispenses like a dime size of product with each pump, which means I need to pump twice just to get enough for one section of hair. It is very hydrating, so I can’t knock it down too much, but it is probably my least favorite ouidad product, which is saying a lot because I LOVE ouidad. Let me just start like this—I was one of the group of people that were DevaCurl devoted. I was soley using their product for two years and started developing thinning hair. I have spent months trying curl products. I have tried CurlSmith, CurlMix, Bumble & Bumble, CurlyWorld, and Monat. All of these had their strengths and weaknesses, but for my curl type it didn’t vibe. First week using Ouidad—I was so hooked. It’s clean ingredients, water soluble, and has product for every curl type. My Curls are bouncy, light, and so moisturized. I have so many friends and followers on IG that we’re following my curly journey. Best results I’ve had. I have the whole right curl line, deep repair mask, and melt down mask. I can’t put into words how thankful I am to find a product that has given me my curls back. I have sent everyone I know with curls this recommendation. They aren’t paying or sponsoring me. Just for reference, this was purchased for and used on biracial, relatively thick, spiral curly hair. This is a very lightweight, non greasy product with relatively good slip. It ends there. If this was the only product you wanted to use. No gel, no mouse, no oils, no creams, no leave in, no frizz control, I mean zero other products, then this might work for you. It immediately interacts with other products by leaving white clumps all over your hair. It doesn't matter if you use less/more of it or if you use less/more of the other, it is a disaster. I've tried this with SEVERAL other products from different lines and it always ends with the same result. It doesn't absorb later and disappear, instead the clumps turn into white flakes. Thousands of small white flakes. Like you've had glitter distributed through your hair. Water doesn't rid it. You must completely shampoo out the product.Donna L

This conditioner is amazing! Of all the conditioners I’ve ever used (I’m in my 20’s so I’ve been through a looot of conditioners!) this one is by far the best. I don’t need a huge amount of it to get my hair untangled, and when I do brush through it I barely have any tangles at all. It’s also very gentle on my hair and the smell is light and not overpowering. So impressed with this product and very glad to have found it. Okay, at first I was suspicious about this product because I really only knew Sun Bum for their sunscreen so I was a little confused seeing they did products for hair. But guys…this product is AMAZING. As someone who constantly buys products to help her curly hair, this has been a life changer. I bought this on a whim because I was like, what's the harm in another product supposedly for curly hair? Boy was I surprised!! I used to cowash because I was having such a hard time keeping my hair from getting frizzy but as a consequence my roots would get kinda greasy and sometimes my curls didn't look as hydrated as the cowash would advertise. Finallyyyyy I found a product that actually hydrates my hair, makes it look great curly, and isn't making it frizzy or puffy. The only con about this product is that I really really wish they made versions of this product in larger bottles because the conditioner tends to go quickly especially if you have long curly hair like me. Delicious! Smells so good! I bought it to control frizz in my wavy hair. I am using in conjunction with the Curls & Waves Styling Creme and it is a nice combo for soft hair.
