I'm glad I got these solid tires, because I live in a city where there's broken glass everywhere. I got tired of getting flat tires on a daily basis, so I bought these Stop-A-Flat tires to put an end to the madness. They work great, however they added a significant amount of weight to my bike, which takes away most of the fun in riding. Plus, whenever I turn the front wheel either left or right, I can feel the inner ridges of the solid-tubes collapsing on each other, which makes it feels unnatural … it feels almost like someone is trying to pull my bike downward into the direction I want to go (if that makes any sense). This Stopaflat tube EATS NEW TIRES FROM THE INSIDE OUT. Do not buy this product unless you are able to buy new tires every two weeks! I put these in my tires and they were not wide enough. I cut the valves off the old inner tubes to make the Stopaflat tubes fit – as per the Stopaflat website. This worked but the Stopaflat tubes ground through the rubber inside the tires, leaving a thick layer of powdered rubber inside the tire. I found this out just yesterday when the sidewall collapsed on my front wheel, allowing the Stopaflat tube to protrude out the side.micmar-206504
I bought the 26"x1.95" foam tubes to use with my *OLD*, slightly-worn-out 26"x2.0" tires. This means that my tires were only only 50 thousandths oversized, which is a 2.5% error from the perfectly matched size. This disregards the extra slop that would result from using these slightly worn-out old tires. During installation it took almost no effort to install, and after I was done there was HALF AN INCH of slop in the tire. It took almost no effort to install them by hand using no tire tools. This ended up DANGEROUSLY LOOSE. It's a good thing that I had new tires on-hand, that were NEW, tight, 1.95" tires (which is exactly the tire size called for). These ended up so tight that they REQUIRED METAL TIRE TOOLS. It takes a ton of force to get to the last section of tire to go on the rim. I like that, because it means that when I take a tight turn it's not going to tear everything off the rim and cause me to slide into traffic. The seller needs to note if the tire is AT ALL LOOSE after installation, DO NOT PROCEED.physics_junkie

I have used a lot of Bell tubes over many years. These 20" will be used on a recumbent tadpole model. I expect them to perform every bit as well as the many 26" Bell tubes of the past and present. I use the 26" in my 26, 27.5, and 29er tires. Yes, a 29er. Never a popper in any of these, and always even inflation around the tube (I check before installation). And they have always taken any inflation pressure, low or very high.Carol

Does not fit all tire and rim sizes indicated. I could not mount it with four tire levers and I'm a good sized man with pretty good hand strength. Three local bike shops would not touch it. The only positive reviews here are from folks who didnt come back and update after their tire went flat. These tubes are well known to consistantly fail and leak or blow-up at the valve stem. I got so tired of replacing them for my littel girls bike. 4 of these failed at the valve stem even after having a bike shop do the install with correct tire pressure. Got a semi-decent pair of training wheels for very little money. Only downside is they are drilled for Schrader valves. Set them tubeless. Schrader actually seems to make the process easier. Now, it did NOT get punctured through the tire while riding, but it DID have a split directly on the wheel !! I checked the wheel tape and it is true it is not properly positioned fully across the channel, but the split was in a well protected spot, so while I will re-wheel tape (not that MEC has any with good reviews) I am concluding that this tube is defective. No pinch marks that I can see, and they would never be centred against the wheel anyway. The Norco tubes that I was trying to replace after 14 years seem to be much heavier duty. Unless I have done something wrong, I do not recommend these tubes made in China.Michael

I bought 1 to replace a dry rotted 10year old tube and 4 more of them so i would have spares at home and not have to work about running to the store. Well I went through all 5 in under a month. this is casual riding to the store half a mile away or just around town on a nice day. Only one tube did i find a puncture all the others after 1 or 2 rides after riding about a quarter mile would just slowly lose air until flat. I believe Goodyear had a large run of defects with bad seams. I recommend other brandsJames

Bought these for my cruiser bike thinking they would last a long long time since their Goodyear AND 30% thicker. What a scam. They are thicker and harder to insert but when I aired them up they both popped at about 25 lbs of air. Took them back this morning and bought 2 slime tubes. I know they work. Read somewhere that Goodyear is not what it used to be. Guess it's true.James

I've tried a mess of 700X23C tubes and the Conti’s are my forever choice. The tube comes out of the package ready to go and *not* stuck to itself like some others I’ve used. These are the smallest/lightest of any I’ve tried, useful coz I stow a spare in my on-bike repair kit and these food nicely into a small package (usually get 2-4 flats a season). I’ve never had a failure unrelated to a puncture or pinch from clobbering too big a pothole. Work fabulously on my 23C wheels, haven’t tried them on other sizes but ostensibly they’ll work from 20-25 as it says on the package.Luberoni
I used to buy the MEC brand tubes, but stopped a few years ago due to the poor quality. I often had failures primarily with the seals round the presto valve. I was happy moving to Continental tubes until now. We’re on a cycling trip in France and have had two Continental tube failures with a seam splitting in less than 200 kilometres. Brand new tubes. Previously I bought Continental inner tubes from Halfords and to be honest the quality control on them was very poor. I bought two inner tubes and both were misshapen when I blew them up, however both of the recently bought Schwalbe inner tubes were perfect. I not only recommend these but also strongly suggest to Halford that stocking Schwalbe inner tubes instead of Continental ones would be a good idea. Now if only I could fix the pot holes that require me to keep replacing my inner tubes in the first place I would be even happier !KevK

These are good tubes except for one minor problem. It is very difficult to get accurate pressure reading with a SKS digital Airrchecker gauge due to the profile of the stem. I also needed new O-rings on the end of the Pump too prevent minor leakage while filling. First time I've run into this problem with Schwalbe tubes. I've never had this problem with Kendra or Conti Tubes. Good tubes, but be forewarned.johndetuerk
