I was so impressed with this sun screen. Having combination skin, I hate the feeling of having a film over my skin, and dread touching my face as I know my skin will be oily on the T-Zone and butterfly area after a hot day. The consistency of this cream is runny, and it applies easily on my face; I didn't notice a white cast, but I am Caucasian with a tendency to get freckles when I am in the sun. Ugh. I wanted to love this so bad that I would forgo every other sunscreen I have, but unfortunately it DOES leave a white cast, despite what it says on the description. To give sunscreen lovers an idea of the feel and weight of this formula, it's almost identical to the way La Roche-Posay's matte sunscreen, which I also don't love for the same reasons. I bought the non-water proof one to try out, in hopes that the waterproof element is what makes this apply chalky, but after using a completely translucent SPF (which isn't waterproof and has some sketchy ingredients, hence my search for its replacement), I'm so totally spoiled and cannot fathom the idea of any sunscreen that doesn't seep completely in. Am I being unrealistic? Most likely. But I definitely don't think it's fair to say "leaves absolutely no greasy feeling or white cast on your skin." Also it smells really strongly of alcohol, which I know is a common ingredient in these milkier sunscreens, but such a turn off. Amazing sunscreen! I have been using for about a year continuously and no issues. I have darker complexion skin (melaninated sisters & brothers this works for us). It was really important for me to find a sunscreen that didn't leave a whitecast, and this works beautifully. I’ve been on a mission to find a sunscreen I can enjoy. I think I found it. I have oily skin, so finding a sunscreen that isn’t greasy or super shiny is the mission. This sunscreen is so light!! I will keep buying this sunscreen until they stop producing it or I die, whichever comes first. I really struggled with finding sunscreen that doesn't make me too oily, give me a horrendous white cast, or make me break out, and this is it. I never get burnt wearing it, and it doesn't pill or clog my pores. It is super smooth and plays well with whatever products you use over or under it. In the summer, I usually skip moisturizer and just use this as my base layer, and I think if you're concerned about excess oiliness this is the way to go. As a disclaimer, I usually rock a somewhat dewy look (too much work to fight what nature gave me) but I don't like outright oiliness and for me this hits that sweet spot. I have to say that I really loved this products. I read everyone’s comments but I gave a try. I do have a few tips 1. If you have a white cast, you may be using a lot more. My suggestion is to use a nickel size amount of sunscreen. Dot your face with it (one for forehead, two for each cheek, side of nose, one dot for chin). DONT rub it, but instead pat it. 2. Give it at least 10 minutes before you add makeup. I like to give sunscreen a minute to set in so I feel more comfortable with makeup. I realized that the longer you wait, the better makeup goes well for skin 3. Don’t believe when it says Matt priming. Don’t get me wrong, it is Matte but it doesn’t blurr your pores. It just leaves a soft touch (like a tissue paper) but I do recommend to wear an extra primer just in case if you’re oily or combination 4. Give it a few days to adjust with it, you may see a white cast but after you keep rubbing, it eventually goes away The reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that it’s a small bottle size and I just wished it had more. It is a beautiful sunscreen, minimal citrus scent, no crazy white cast and not oily. That perfect medium. Texture feels like a light moisturizer. I bought this one, because of the good review of James Welsh (youtuber) and since it's promised to be a nourishing, high spf mineral sunscreen with little to no whitecast. What I like about it, is the light texture, and the fact that it leaves no greasy feeling on the skin. But it has a noticeable scent to it and my sensitive skin can feel a bit irritated by this. Mostly I combine this spf with others, because it does leave a certain white cast. Overall it's a nice mineral sunscreen.

I think this is a moderate mineral sunscreen and the only reason I will give it 4 stars is because it sucks the moist out of me! After trying one nano-mineral sunscreen from Paula's choice many years ago and then continuing with chemical filter sunscreens, I've decided to give mineral sunscreens another try. After all the one from Paula's choice had some silica in, so of course it was too mattifying for me. I went with Make prem because the reviews were good and I liked the ingredient list. Unfortunatelly it did not reach my expectations. It really has that silky-powdery kinda touch on skin, but it dried me out too much after a few hours. I used a mist, serum and moisturizer underneath. Also, I noticed the foundation did not work so well over it – I ended up with a few patches. I heard a lot of good things about this sunscreen so I had to try it out for myself! This chemical sunscreen has a thin, runny texture. It also absorbs quicky (as it contains alcohol) and leaves a beautiful silky finish on the skin. I like how it doesn’t feel like a sunscreen when being applied. This is my favourite spf for my oily/ combination. I also have very sensitive eyes that are irritated by chemical sunscreens but this has been the most comfortable to wear. I try other brands but then I always come back to this one. Would highly recommend.
Why, Missha? Why change what was possibly the greatest sunscreen for dark, oily, acne prone skin? This new formula is creamy, the old one was watery. The new one has a "natural" finish aka will be greasy by the end of the day (old one didn't). The new one has a different smell, but I like it. is the winner for my #sunscreen finds this year. It comes is a big bottle of whooping 200ml. Firstly it starts applying like a moisturizing sun milk and is not tinted. This property makes it very easy to spread and layer. And amazingly once set it gives a sating finish . It does not move around like many mineral spfs which contain heavy silicones do usually. Once set it does not move unless its 2 hrs or you sweat it off. There is almost no white caste and it blends on the skin beautifully. I’m on my third bottle! Ive been struggling with oily skin and this not only has great coverage but also keeps my oil in check. If i dont put this on my face just looks like it has been drenched in oil at the end of the day. Might be too drying for combi/dry people. And has a slight white cast which i personally don’t mind. The bottle is HUGE and for the price it’s really worth it. I cant finish the bottle within a year if i just apply on my face so it can be used on the body as well. I personally love this product because I have very dry dehydrated skin! This makes my skin look and feel light-weight and luminous at the same time. I would definitely recommend this product for dry skin that isn’t super sensitive and even if you have normal skin type and you are looking for that clean gorgeous glow this is it!! I also love how hydrating this is, it is like a moisturizing sunscreen. If you are scared to be to glowy then you could definitely try skipping your daily moisturizer in the morning and just go in with this at the end of your skincare routine. I wouldn’t say that this sunscreen is heavy, I think it is very lite-weight and long lasting with no white cast which I love!! The sunscreen does have a little fragrance but honestly it doesn’t bother me, I have sensitive skin and sense none of my other products have fragrance this just adds a elegant floral smell! Hydro UV Defense is a broad spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen gifted by Laneige for review. Adore this brand and was considerably excited to try their new sunscreen. First of all, it has a clear finish and more importantly: no stinging of the eyes! Unsure if this sunscreen is water resistant but it held up great during outdoor exercise. A big plus since I’ve unfortunately had painful experiences with other sunscreens. Application leaves my dry skin looking dewy and hydrated. By far my favorite sunscreen! I have medium/tan combo skin with olive undertones and this disappears beautifully following cleansing and toning with zero white cast. At times I forget to moisturize on top of it and nothing slides off of it all day. Even with moisturizer it does not make my face oily, which is a godsend. Many users have commented on the scent but quite honestly, I think it smells fresh and quite lovely and not at all like the typical sunscreen smell. At 39 I'm new to wearing spf every single day, and loving it. I've discovered sunprise spf 50+++ and I'm genuinely shocked by it. My makeup has never looked better or lasted as long. It just works as the perfect primer. I also use a bit of the nyx angel veil primer down the centre of my face. But on its own this primer was never anything special. But the combo of sunprise and this primer and my makeup is completely in tact 10 hours later. I have dry skin with oils coming through on my nose and reviews warned me this could be a bit drying. I find it a little bit drying around the eyes. So I moisturise before using it and it's just perfect! And if worn without makeup, it's perfect too, not shiny and greasy looking. Absolutely love it!
This has been my go to for YEARS – I have very sensitive skin and chemical sunscreens burn my face. This is a full mineral sunscreen – and like all mineral sunscreens, it's got a slight white cast, but you're never going to find a US made sunscreen with as little of a white like this one. It has a milky/lightweight/matte powder feel and finish. There will be a slight pilling if you keep trying to rub it in after it's already dried, so be weary of that. This one is for the MOST sensitive of skins, as it's a physical barrier – it's also great for those with oily skin because it's so mattifying.I'm no longer wearing this one daily but there are days when I wake up and my skin feels a little raw already and milky mineral sunscreen like this are always going to be my go-to for that: Solid B!
I have a pretty oily and pale skin so I've been on the search for a sunscreen that protects, spreads well, and will not make me break out or look even greasier. I'd tried every product that (wrongly) claimed to do so and had almost given up on finding a perfect solution, especially for every day use, until this. Now, it's the only brand I'll use. Feels amazingly breathable on, not cakey nor does it clog pores. My only tip: it's thin enough to be able to spread and absorb well, but you'll want to work quickly and start with a small amount and build up as needed. If left to sit or slathered too thick, it can leave streaks of white cast that I've seen even on my pasty complexion, so I'm sure it would be even more noticeable on darker skin tones, but that's probably true of many sunscreens. It sinks into skin right away. Does not leave tacky feeling or white cast. It has very minimal scent and gives you sufficient sun protection from UV light. A great option for the summer and daily use. It is good for sensitive skin. I think it will work for both oil, combination and dry skin. I highly recommend! Try it out.

It's really hard to find a nice mineral sunscreen that isn't thick and doesn't make you look like a ghost. I'm pretty pale, so this blends in pretty easily (if I had a darker skin tone, it might leave a whitecast) and it soaks into the skin really well so it doesn't leave a greasy film on my face! I’m a big fan of rice cream and serum. I was hoping to love the sunscreen too, especially because it’s mineral. The sunscreen has good consistency but leaves white cast on. I was so impressed with this sun screen. Having combination skin, I hate the feeling of having a film over my skin, and dread touching my face as I know my skin will be oily on the T-Zone and butterfly area after a hot day. The consistency of this cream is runny, and it applies easily on my face; I didn't notice a white cast, but I am Caucasian with a tendency to get freckles when I am in the sun. The cream lasted pretty much all day, and I did not get sunburn at all; what's more, my skin felt absolutely fine when I got home. No slimy, oily nose and cheeks to be seen! Ugh. I wanted to love this so bad that I would forgo every other sunscreen I have, but unfortunately it DOES leave a white cast, despite what it says on the description. To give sunscreen lovers an idea of the feel and weight of this formula, it's almost identical to the way La Roche-Posay's matte sunscreen, which I also don't love for the same reasons. I bought the non-water proof one to try out, in hopes that the waterproof element is what makes this apply chalky, but after using a completely translucent SPF (which isn't waterproof and has some sketchy ingredients, hence my search for its replacement), I'm so totally spoiled and cannot fathom the idea of any sunscreen that doesn't seep completely in. Am I being unrealistic? Most likely. But I definitely don't think it's fair to say "leaves absolutely no greasy feeling or white cast on your skin." Also it smells really strongly of alcohol, which I know is a common ingredient in these milkier sunscreens, but such a turn off. I don't usually mind any type of fragrance in my products either – this one just bothers the heck out of me for some reason. Fingers crossed for the non-spf version, which I'll be trying next. I have been using this for a little over a year and while I do love innisfree, I probably would not repurchase this exact sunscreen again. For one, I do love the scent and the feel of the product but it is really low in spf and protection. I have their other higher spf sunscreens that I will be repurchasing however, so this is not an issue! I recommend this as a reapplication of spf throughout the day but not as a product alone for spf. The scent is light and natural, stays on all day. I love that it is not greasy or leaves behind any stickiness.kristy.l
I usually use whatever I can get at the drug store, nothing that I truly love. I dislike how most sunscreens either feel or look heavy, or smell bad, but I’ll wear them anyway because sunscreen is essential! But was different from the first use. I don’t know how this makes sense but it smells cute 🥺 like fruity in some way? But the scent disappears as soon as you apply. No white cast. Light formula that glides on, but not greasy. I’m on my third tube of this. It has a higher SPF (50++++) than any Innisfree sunscreen made for the US market. I love that it’s a physical sunscreen because chemical sunscreens sting my eyes. This doesn’t. I’m very pale, and even though it initially has a white cast, the cast disappears after a few minutes. I also find it moisturizing enough that I can skip my moisturizer when using this. I need to order several tubes at a time!Strawberry P.
