Best Laptop For Home Recording Studio (2024 Update)

I bought one of these several months ago. Ok I'm not good guitarist so take that into into consideration but I have player series strat and have always played strat style guitars and I'm not saying i love this guitar more than the Fender I love them both but as far as the guitar is concerned she got so much potential tonally. I have no complaints about the ascetic she beautiful sexy gorgeous took a little getting used to the weight and contours compared to the strat there is adjustment period but she just rocks. I never played a Gibson but if this guitar had Gibson I guess it be a little better but also 2grand more. If I have any complaint is she is finger print magnet always wiping down get some dunlop 65 and microfiber cloth. The Glossy neck won't appeal to all but I can deal with it. Fret work perfect. I'm not a gigging musician but i have no doubt she gig worthy. Oh also, get the pro coverage cause I found out ALL Les Paul are extremely fragile at the neck,It has to do with the angle of the neck, Google it, do your research on owning a led Paul little different than strat anyway the guitar is 600-GREAT VALUE then with 2 years pro coverage plus tax it was under 900 or somewhere around there. And if you get a bad quality then ask for another cause it is coming from Asia so there is variability in workmanship but mine is PERFECT. If I ever get rich maybe ill buy a Gibson but for now this satisfy my Les Paul needs. I wanted an alternative to my strat to emulate Slash sound lol I need to work on my technique but this definitely rocks a Les Paul sound. I did see a review or 2 that liked the sound of the 1950 better but I played them both and liked the 60s better but check them both out the inspired by Gibson line is definitely worth the money if you want a Les Paul without breaking the bank. Just take your time do your homework if you can go to a GC and play it then do that In rarely write reviews especially this long but I love this guitarMichael L

Let me start out by saying I'm not sure why so many negative reviews. This is my first Les Paul , obviously not a Gibson but it's build quality is fantastic. I also own an epiphone sg G400 Pro , I wanted to see the difference between the two and was pleased with the quality of my sg. The Les Paul came almost perfect out of the box , all I had to do was lower the action and put new strings on , I tuned it up and it was all set. I got the smokehouse burst , beautiful color , better than the pics. The neck is perfect like my sg , it's comfortable and easy to play. The pots are solid , the pickups are better than expected and the versatility of this guitar is amazing. You can play anything from the Allman Brothers , blues etc to metal and it handles it with no problems. The guitar came in perfect condition with no flaws , sharp frets , buzz etc. This is my third epiphone and this Les Paul is beyond my expectations , I couldn't be more pleased. The QC with epiphone has definitely gotten a lot better over the past couple of years. I would definitely recommend this guitar , it doesn't disappoint!Mike G.

About my order of Legion 7i gen 7, it was delayed multiple weeks late but overall I am liking most of it. I wanna start with the dislike/suggestions about my Legion 7i 2022 1. No SD card slot or whatsoever, if you could add it on the generation 8 i will like it 2. when i ordered there's no option for mini LED or 4k panel with adaptive refresh rate, it will be awesome if you guys Lenovo team will add that next generation 8 Legion 7/5 3. A software or key switch to control fan speed. 4. Option to add or upgrade to liquid metal thermal paste for GPU and CPU or if you can add a feature to add water-cooled connection like what XMG laptops from UK have been doing. 5. Option to get external eGPU for laptop for gamers/enthusiast. I will definitely buy eGPU if theres an option. 5. Add windows hello infrared camera LOG-in optiion but the fingerprint is good enough for some people. 6. Also make the laptop upgradeability a little easier do not hide or make some parts soldered. 7. Make the Legion 7model where airflow and reliability is focused more rather than THIN and LIGHT. Because if people wanna buy thin and light they will buy thinkpads, yoga or slim models rather than Legion 7, Most Legion buyers dont need THIN and light , They want COOL laptop with enough room for Performance and cool temperature that would accomodate 175 watts or even more desktop like POWER and performance. Apart from these minor suggestion, I LIKE everything about what i ordered.I will defenitely order again if all or some of my suggestions will be considered. I was first impressed with the many YouTube reviews concerning "Legion" laptops made by Lenovo. I was first skeptical, since I've always purchased Dell, HP or Acer laptops in the past… It now seems that some of those other companies put profits and huge margins in place of giving the consumer the latest generation of Processors, SSD Drives and Ram, at a fair price. It came down to two companies for me….. Acer and Lenovo. Both companies provided "state-of-the-art" technology and fair prices. I almost purchased another Acer laptop, but when I further reviewed the Lenovo Legion 7i on their website, along with the type of customer support they had on sale (warranty programs, XBox game pass add-on, gamer support, etc.) it became a no-brainer for me! The Legion 7i fit all the boxes I was looking for, even including the latest tech from Intel, the Core i7 12th Gen 12800HX processor, 32 GB of DDR 5 Ram, a 2 TB Gen 4 NVMe SSD, Wi-Fi 6e, a higher voltage regulator to max out the performance of the Nvidia RTX 3070i GPU, all at a price that beat out HP, Dell or Acer, PLUS FREE SHIPPING if you join their FREE Lenovo buyers program…..how can you NOT BUY IT. And when the product arrived (even much earlier than I expected…a nice touch Lenovo!) I was further impressed! And when the product arrived, I had to sign for it… another nice touch! Most other shipments I've had in the past (Dell) they just left the product at my door step and the delivery companies don't even seem to ring your doorbell anymore!!! When I signed for my delivery, it further showed that Lenovo cares. When I opened my shipment, it arrived in a very luxurious, cardboard box, a very very nice box! Similar to how Apple ships their products. When I took out my laptop, I was further impressed by the sturdy construction, similar to receiving a high end digital camera. The metal casing was just…..beautiful! And when you start it up, it was whisper quiet, even though I could feel the warm air moving out of the exhaust ports. The 16 inch screen is so clear and COLORFUL. Best screen I've seen in my many years of owning laptops. Thanks to the YouTube reviews, it helped me to decide to up my screen option from a 15.6" to the newer format, 16". Thank you YouTube reviewers! Things are so fast now! My old laptop was only 3 years old, but it's like "night and day". Like going from a Toyota Corolla, which is nice, to driving a Lexus ES 350! Even though my old laptop came with an Intel i7 processor, there is just no comparison when you also include a Gen 4 SSD drive, the DDR 5 Ram memory and that NEW Intel i7 HX processor!!! I know how fast technology moves, but I personally think this laptop will be very fast for years to come! Thank you Lenovo!!! Business looking laptop but the power of a gaming laptop of 2022. If you want an offline account for Windows 11 I would recommend getting Windows 11 Pro and lookup how to make a local administrator account. If you're looking for a small laptop that can do 4K gaming this laptop would be it. The games that didn't get 60 FPS in 4k were bad optimized games. I know they got the nights had a patch come out to fix the frames per second I haven't tested it out since then. You can run 60fps 4k ultra on MK11. Sniper elite 5 60+fps on high settings but I still run on ultra 40-60fps I've been very happy for the most part and still can't believe the power in this small package. Pros: Input output ports on the laptop. I would highly recommend getting a USB adapter to USBC so you can plug in your mouse on the right side of the laptop. Physical switch to disable camera. Same or Outperforms bigger laptops and its class. Very solid laptop sturdy keyboard as strong as my sager laptop no flexing on the keyboard. Cons: Does get very 🔥 🥵 when gaming. And you feel the heat through the aluminum body. You should OK with wsad keys. The sides get super hot. I would not put it in your lap or make sure you have breathing room between the Surface and the laptop. I was surprised it didn't have a button to do an FN plus F2 to turn off the monitor screen like most laptops. Doesn't have a 4K screen display. I hope this helps someone.Matt7000

The reason for this review is that I purchased these headphones to use with my phone and meditation. It does not work in the phone port. Nowhere on the site does it mention that it is only for computers. Still waiting for refund.PreSonus

Purchased these headphones for home studio mixing after they were highly recommended by some very trusted friends who have been in the mixing game for quite some time now. I am just getting started with mixing and recording myself but I love the sound and feel of these headphones. Very light and easy on the ears and even after hours of working with them they still feel comfortable. The sound is also very faithful to the real thing. By that I mean that previously working with only my studio monitors I experienced the "sounds great in the studio but awful in the car" phenomenon. Not so after using these headphones. Very true response on sound. Best used for mixing in the studio. Would definitely recommend for that purpose. I will probably buy a set of HD9 headphones for tracking since they are closed back and will not bleed. These may not be the best for tracking due to the open back nature that allows for close representation when mixing. Hope this helps.Ken

I am 20yo and an aspiring sound producer. I listen to a vast amount of music and just about everything I can find to play on these headphones. From usage in my studio projects to simple leisurely activities (games, music) these headphones are very strong assets. There is excellent outside noise rejection and cancellation once you start playing something. You'd have to wave your hands or cause a tremor in the room to let me know you're trying to get my attention. These headphones are powerful and comfortable, and I love to use them for absolutely everything I am able to use headphones to listen to. It even came with a handy PreSonus draw-sack, although the drawstrings quickly broke within a month or less of day-to-day usage. The only drawbacks for me were: (1.) the result of an accident that occurred where the headphones were plugged into a laptop and the laptop got knocked over onto the side of the audio jack, bending into and ruining my laptop's audio jack input, as well as the headphone's jack. The fall was less than two feet off the ground yet the impact was large enough to cause such damage. (2.) The cord is way too long for my style of usage when not in my studio. I find myself having to coil the string up in my pocket whenever I'm mobile. However, that's clearly not the type of usage it was intended for when it was made. Personal mishaps and usage habits aside, these headphones are awesome, and are an excellent buy for the asking price.Benjamin

I was hesitant to purchase the Surface Pro X based on some reviews I had read but with a drop in price, it was not that far off the Surface Go 3 and with better specs. I ended up buying both but eventually determined the Go was just too small for me. When comparing the two side by side and in multiple applications the Surface Pro X was better in almost all cases except portability. Not that the Go is not bad by any means, it is really a nice little multi-purpose machine but the extremely small size really hampers its usability for business. After loading up all the software I would normally use for business purposes, Office, Teams, Notepad++, 7zip, GitHub Desktop, Visual Studio Code, C#, Java, Gimp, and some other tools, I have found the performance to be very good, especially when running native apps and fortunately most of the key apps are native. Windows 11 now supports x64 emulation and it works perfectly. In fact, Office is actually running x64 emulation and is not native and I was shocked at how well it runs. To the point I thought it had to be native. Some pros: Screen is excellent Portability is very good; this thing is thin and pretty light Surface keyboard is excellent Battery life has been excellent. This is the first PC I have ever used where I didn't have immediate battery anxiety. Love the fact it is fanless and runs cool. First PC laptop/2in1 that I have ever used that didn't practically sunburn my lap when using it. Performance has been very good and stays the same even when not plugged in which is a nice change of pace from all my other Intel/AMD based laptops and machines. This is much more akin to the new Apple Macs. This is the base model SQ1 system as well and the new SQ3 based systems will probably be out soon, but this has been just fine and great price. Speakers are awesome Cameras are excellent MS Teams performance in video conference calls has been very good Cons Performance could be a bit better in games Windows 11 is not a great tablet experience compared to IOS or Android tablets, but it is surprisingly not as bad as I would have thought with such small touch targets. Still a better tablet UI when in tablet mode would be nice. Windows Store still needs a lot of work and it isn't always clear in the store which apps are native. I have only had one app so far not install and function. Also still way too many garbage apps in the store and not nearly enough good apps.durandal

Wow…I had to say this because tablets these days are a dime a dozen and the Surface Pro X demonstrates why a number of tablets have found their way into a junk drawer never to be seen again. It really is a myriad of products in one that fits a flexible style of use. If you are like me, I have a laptop, a smartphone, a tablet, a different tablet, and other various products that only do only one thing well but promise to be so much more. Since I don't game on a PC, professionally edit photos or videos, or need a computer to manage multimedia devices, the Surface Pro does everything I need quickly, efficiently, and looks good doing it. This definitely bridges the gap between a smartphone and a PC so well, that I don't feel the need to even have a laptop anymore. When needed, it handles the office duties in an ergonomic package then quickly transitions into a binge or browse tablet that goes anywhere, sets up comfortably in a bed, couch, or chair, and looks very classy doing it all. The built in stand has the perfect amount of resistance for multiple setup options and disappears seamlessly when not needed. I love that with other smart products, I can start something on the surface, transition to doing it on the PC or TV, then have it back on the Surface if desired. The compatibility was an awesome surprise that makes me feel like I finally purchased a product that will last more than a couple years and still be useable for many more. The touch screen, smart pen option, and the keyboard make it adaptable and a joy to use when sometimes you want to zoom quickly, but not have to type on a screen keyboard. It is built well, doesn't have any area that looks or feels like sacrifices were made to cut costs, and is extremely user friendly. We have spent the past 15 years getting devices for this or that while the clutter and inconvenience piles up. I can't wait to find more uses in my life to consolidate to this device and start feeling like technology doesn't need to be a mix/match of devices all with different charging cables and cords. While I will say, the power cord has a new connection I've never seen, I don't mind because I will be getting rid of so many others it will be well worth it. Do yourself a favor and pick up a Surface Pro, try out a friend or relatives, or go online and take some time to really explore everything this product has to offer because I don't think you will be disappointed anytime soon!!dbickpg

Personal computing has changed quite a bit in the last several years. Many people used to rely predominately on desktops to do all of their work and play, and that evolved to more people using laptops, and now, “two-in-one” computers are catching on in number. A two-in-one being loosely defined as a tablet, but with the capability of attaching a keyboard to make it into a laptop, too, or having a keyboard that can fold back. They are usually ultra-portable and thin (no DVD drives, etc), light, and easy to take everywhere with you. The Microsoft Surface Pro X is such a device. New user note: Expect about 25-40 minutes initially to set the Pro X up when using for the first time. The usual updates after setup have to occur and with Windows 11 being so new, there are a few that install. The Surface Pro X has a high resolution 2880 x 1920 PixelSense display that’s bright and colorful, with good viewing angles. My unit has 8 gigs of RAM, a fast 256 gig SSD drive, and a Microsoft SQ 1 processor, which is an ARM processor developed with Qualcomm (think “very powerful cellular-style processor that could also be used in a cell phone”). The processor has been compared to an 8th generation i5U processor (good). Graphics are via an Adreno™ 685 GPU. The entire thing weighs less than 2 pounds. A 5 megapixel front-facing camera allows for good quality 1080p video calls (Thank you!), and a 10 megapixel rear camera with 4K video capability gives you some flex use should you want to take photos or videos with the Pro X, too. I found the rear camera just ok for photos, with so-so dynamic range and the pics a bit faded to be honest, but it does a better job in it’s “document” mode finding and saving documents, which is what I think you’d be using it more for on this type of device, anyway. Two Dolby high quality speakers are much better than average, with mics that pick up sound amply. Two USB-C ports allow for accessories. Thermal cooling helps keep things cool without fans, and battery life is rated at “up to” 15 hours (I get around 11-12 in mixed real-world uses). The Pro X has a good feel to it and is easy to hold or using the very good multi-position built-in stand in the back, use on a flat surface. A keyboard is not necessarily needed (though I recommend it), as Windows 11 allows for a decent on-screen keyboard and touch capability that with some practice, can be used nearly as well as a traditional keyboard. Along with the “Surface Slim Pen 2”, which feels comfortable to hold and use, you can get quite a bit done. Pair all of this with a Microsoft Pro Keyboard which magnetically attaches to the Pro X via a small magnetic connector, and you literally have a super portable laptop. I’ll be reviewing the keyboard and pen separately, as they are sold separately in most situations unless you find a special bundle. I find the Pro X to be speedy enough for all everyday things I have tossed at it. Office applications, light gaming, basic photo editing, etc. I haven’t seen any stutters or delays from it in use at all so far. The Pro X comes pre-installed with the new Windows 11. After many years of incremental updates to Windows 10, Microsoft has redesigned the OS into Windows 11, which has a slight Mac-ish feel to it, with commonly used apps and programs now appearing centered along the bottom in the start menu area (including a semi-traditional windows button which pulls up your pinned and other apps, taking over the tile area of Windows 10). Out of the box, you have icons to quickly assess a control area with access to commonly used apps and areas, access to a “widgets” area, and a quick access to a “Chat from Microsoft Teams” icon for quickly doing video chats and more with friends and family by using your Microsoft account. A files explorer folder, Microsoft Edge browser and newly designed Windows store icon finish the lineup. You can add or delete more as desired. Side note – eventually via an update, people will be able to install a limited number of Android apps into their Windows 11 computer as well. You can move the start menu over to the left to make it look more like Windows 10 but the center placement doesn’t bug me – it’s just one more thing to adapt to. One of my favorite simple new features is that when holding your pointer over a maximize (square) icon in the upper-right corner of a window and letting it hover, it gives you new layouts so you can “snap” various apps and windows next to each other in different configurations and layouts. You could do this before but it was cumbersome – this makes it much easier. Of course, the larger your screen the more and better this works. With the 13 inch screen of the Pro X, I usually don’t have more than two windows open together. Windows 11 is a combination of simply changing and streamlining the look and feel of Windows 10, while also adding a few new features. It seems to work – no one LIKES to learn new things, but I think once most people get used to it, they’ll like iAtlantaGreg

I bought it to replace my old laptop last year around November. I use my laptop mostly for graphic and UX design works and some gaming. Within 1 months there were some occasional freezes or unexpected shut-downs when I had more software running simultaneously. There were random Lenovo updates that I didn't care about that kept popping up. All of that was still tolerable for me. However, around a couple months ago, I started noticing streaks or glitching when I scrolled up or down on web pages. It looked like the web pages split or break diagonally or horizontally when I scroll up or down quickly. This also happens when I watch videos or play video games. This is not only very distracting also made this laptop unreliable for doing animations (which is a part of my work). Very disappointed that this problem that it occurred within less than 1 year of purchasing this laptop. I tried contacting customer support and putting in an repair order, but the process was convoluted and nothing was really resolved. I was asked to send my laptop for repair, and the box that I was supposed to put my laptop in arrived damaged. I regret purchasing this laptop, since with the price I paid I was expecting it last longer than this. I'll try to look into ways to fix the display myself rather than getting repair from Lenovo since the process is very long and doesn't seem very reliable.KM385932

Got this to replace a Dell precision laptop. Have been with Dell since 1996 and have always upgraded to a Dell laptop since then. Bought the P1 after my current Dell less than a year old failed boot from a win10 to win11 forced upgrade by windows system. I am currently using it for software development and some video/photo editing and have had no issues so far. 16 inch screen laptop is same size if not a tad smaller than my 15.6 inch dell laptop which is a surprise to me. So a regular 15.6 inch case/bag will fit this laptop. I opted for 64 gigs of ram and a rtx4000 graphic card. Have multiple virtual systems running like a breeze, linux, cloud services, local webserver for web app development and testing. This machine handles it all. One of the few light and thin laptops with usb-a, full hmdi, 2 usb-c, one being thunderbolt port available. Unless you go for a 5 plus pounder desktop replacement mobile workstation, this is the only thin laptop in its class to offer usb-a port.Bye Bye Dell

I've gone through about 3 of the same mics as I thought maybe my first one was faulty, the mic is perfect and good in the start, but the mute button has had an issue across all 3 of the mics I bought. It's fine in the start but after about 6 months, the mute button doesn't work properly, so I had to mute from inside the computer settings instead of the actual mic. I used it for streaming so I had to mute a lot, not sure if i'm the only one with this issue, but it's something for them to look intograceyyy95

The microphone itself is fine but they ship it with absolute garbage cables. Flimsy and in my case, already bent in two directions. Instead of replacing it, here is there official response: "I'm very sorry but at this time we have suspended all spare parts services. These are normally fulfilled out of our office in Westlake Village but due to COVID-19, we've been forced to shut down our shipping/receiving operations to ensure the safety and health of our staff. If you are looking for a great USB microphone this is my favorite one. It feels solid, and sounds great, I love every feature of this microphone. Don't underestimate its size, it is definitely a Yeti. You don't have to speak directly into the microphone. There are adjustments that can change where the direction of the sound is recorded from. You can change the Gain on the mic itself, which is another added bonus.Laura12345

I already have a pair of traditional wired ATH-M50X but decided to treat myself to the bluetooth version. They are basically the same headphone I already have, but without a cord. They do come with a cord, but it is quite short and isn't coiled. They come with a USB charging cord that is VERY short at about 14 inches. I find this a little too short, but it gets the job done. The instructions were a little TOO simple and consisted of just images and very little text. It was enough to get me started, but there was no information for any sort of troubleshooting. As this is my first bluetooth device, a little more information would have been helpful. The problem I had was once I connected with the transmitter that connects to my 'legacy' equipment, that was the sole device the headphone wanted to connect to. It took a little fiddling around to figure out how to get the headphone to connect to my laptop and cell phone. It would have been nice to have troubleshooting instructions. All that being said, the headphones sound as great as the wired version. I haven't had any problems with interference or a dropped signal. My house isn't very big so I can't really get out of range without going outside which I haven't tried yet to see how far the signal reaches. Great Headphones!!Nancy

When I first put them on I did not like how hard they clamped down on my ears and head. My ears are a bit sensitive to pressure and after wearing my Beats for an hour, my right ear often hurts. The Bose QC45s are so comfortable and sound really good. The ATs don't have all the features… I decide to try cranking the volume. Wow the ATs sound amazing at higher volume levels! The Bose and my corded Sony MDR-7506 start to sound harsh while the AT's just get better. I am very curious if the extra pressure squeezing my head has a positive effect on the sound? I do not mind the pressure on my ears as much as I expected. These have twice the battery life of the Bose and sound better, yes please.Coder J

I use these on my android phone wirelessly (bluetooth) and with my linux computer wired directly through the motherboard line out for pc games, youtube, music, and disneyplus. I also use them wired into a surface go reformatted with ubuntu 22.04. Got them to work with bluetooth with the linux desktop computer but I don't actually have the SMA antennae attached to it so it is not really a fair test. (it is laggy, but it did connect and produce sound) They work great anywhere they are wired and wirelessly on android with wired connections sounding better. I don't really use windows often so can't comment on that at this time. I'm not an audiophile, but the audio sounds crisp with nice bass when watching movies with special effects. Music also sounds crisp and precise. They do fit fairly snugly but feel comfortable on the ears and are well made. I previously owned a pair of klipsch reference but these seem slightly better built. I consider them an upgrade in build and sound quality.Robert

It is fast. Video resolution is outstanding. It provides a lot of configuration options. And I know I am going to make very good use of this unit, creating children's books, editing photos, etc. It's not perfect though. For such an expensive device, you would expect that they would load up on the key spec's where they could, or at least make it easy for you to upgrade yourself. Offering 16GB of standard memory was great, and providing an open slot to add another chip to make it 32GB is outstanding. However, I am less pleased with the storage option. A 500GB SSD is just ok, especially for a device that is intended to be used for media (photos, videos) editing and creating. Being able to theoretically replace the drive with an up to 2TB SSD is good. However, finding a drive of that size that meets Wacom's spec's was not so easy. Actually, I was unable to find one, and turned to Wacom for guidance, and really got none. They just spit back the same requirements for an SSD board that are listed online, with no help on who makes a compatible such item. The SSD card also has a spring load, which makes it difficult to reconnect the non-slotted side to the board with a screw since it does not lay flat when inserted. Bad design. A regular USB port would be nice since that is what standard thumb drives use so I will have to make use of adapters. I wish it was at least a pound lighter, especially since it has no keyboard, but I can live with it, I guess.gmckayca

Hasn't run correctly since I started using it. I had a big project so my back was up against the wall. So after a series of freezes, crashes and restarts, I barley squeaked out my project. I have been trying to work with Wacom to fix the issue. Three factory resets later, I was told my ONLY option, because I bought it with B&H, was to send it in to be worked on. DO NOT buy this. After updating my knowledge of impedance matching ( amp to headphones ) I decided that I needed a new high impedance set ( besides my 300 ohm 650's that are just too warm ). The Beyerdynamic T1 was my obvious choice but high price and recurring great reviews of the DT 889/600 ohm made me decide on the 880's. Received in record time from minidisc …..Many Thanks , These are fantastic value for build , comfort and steller sound . Paired with my relatively high output impedance class A amp (33 ohms ) they punch way above their price range comparable to my planar magnetics and high end Audio Technica headphones that are now confined to my low impedance output amp Very detailed precise soundstage and realistic reproduction of acoustic instruments with a "gotcha by the balls " energy presentation. I did modify slightly with Dekoni hybrid pads and nuggets on bare headband improving comfort and reducing weight , the pads balanced the response and increased the soundstage noticeably.Stuart A. C.

Headphones are a very personal choice so I can only comment on what I think. After a lot of research I decided to give these a go. I produce electronic music (house, techno, drum and bass) and so far I’m liking these. I also have a pair of Audio Technical ATH-M50 and yes, the Beyerdynamics are much more forward in the top end, but the level of detail this brings out has had a positive impact on my mixdowns. Bottom end is decent. I didn’t have a chance to try these before I bought them but would recommend you do, if you can as the pronounced top end may not be for everyone.Rajesh D.

Needs some EQ (directly running from a macbook pro 2017) to get working properly I think. I use eqMac and take the oratory1990's presets as starting point. Also eqMac itself directs to certain presets you can use. With those, bass becomes more for my taste. Although you shouldn't really listen metal with these, hard rock and similar things are okay, but I think this shines more when you have high mids. I really enjoy listening Yes, Rush, etc with these. And reviews you see where it says "feels like nothing", they are right. Listened for hours on end, never felt any discomfort. May be hot in the summer but sitting in a home at around 76 degrees, didn't feel hot. And noise bleed is not too much, of course not suitable for an office setting, but you do not need to shield yourself from your family in your home as to not disturb them. Still, you can hear a lot with the headphones on, so you may want to shield yourself from noise anyways. Outside noise interferes a lot.Eren O.

The design of the headphone, with the outer steel frame makes it look very sturdy and virtually unbreakable. The fact that the inner softer headband automatically moves to adjust to my head makes it very convenient. The spiral freely extendable cable connection of the headcups through the headband is a smart choice, as there is no fear of overstretching and breakage. I purchased this product after my purchase for my first gaming laptop. The sound quality that these deliver shocked me. I don't know if it's because of the audio capabilities of the PC is this is a new venture for me; but I also use these on my Xbox1 X console. And sound almost just as great. They are loud and clear. And using Dolby Atmos on the console really brings out the immersion they state. However, outside of connecting to a PC they have one flaw for myself. On the console there is no mute button. It does come with an inline remote but that only works for the PC. These headphones are best suited for the PC. They do sound amazing on console but at times if you're in a loud environment such as myself, it would be nice to be able to quickly mute them. That's why I give it 4 starts.EAgui

Fantastic sound and great build but not including the USB cable is seriously irritating. It requires a type of cable that is not clear in the paperwork in terms of specification and cannot be bought in eg PC World. It would be much better to add £20 to the price and bundle a cable. I gather this is a big gripe from a number of buyers. Dans la boite il y a un cable de 3 metres (bien pratique) un cable avec micro (dans mon pack il est défectueux, mais pour la deuxième commande de même casque tout est bien, bref je ne l'utilise pas, sinon c'est dommage) et un adaptateur 6.35 à 3.5 Jack. This is my first headphone of audiophile grade. Before buying ATH-M50X I got all the relevant details from HeadphoneZone gurus. I would suggest that every headphone buyer should first talk to HeadphoneZone guru before making any purchase. Based on your taste of music genre and listening habits they would suggest right headphones. I had confusion between ATH-M50x and DT 770 Pro. It's been more than a month with these cans and I am loving it. In online reviews you might see people suggesting that these can be used without DAC/AMP but that's not true. If you want to unleash the true sound I would really recommend to get a dedicated DAC/AMP. I am using ATH-M50x with iBasso DC03 (also bought from HeadphoneZone) and could really understand the difference and what these cans are capable of. I am using the following combination: Dolby Atmos Music Mode(OnePlus 7T Pro) + EQ tweaking(10 band EQ with 7T Pro) + Audio Technica ATH-M50x + iBasso DC03 + Gaana (Plus/Premium Subscription) and now each of the songs are sounding way more beautiful. I guess since DC03 has dual DAC and that might be the reaon it's so powerful and it doesn't eat up much battery as well. Words can't justify this listening experience but still Ihave tried my level best. Totally recommended 👍🤘 A big thumbs up to headphone zone for suggesting this purchase. Love you guys ❤Shibin D.

I purchased these headphones about three weeks ago and I really enjoy them. The quality and construction is fantastic. Having different length cables that disconnect directly from the headphones allows me to quickly jump from my DAWs to other devices with ease. I primarily use them for the follow: 1) Keyboard (Yamaha P-45) 2) Recording my own music through a Focusrite (singing, guitar, and violin) 3) Create my own digital soundscapes in a variety of prosumer DAWs on my laptop 4) Listening to music on my phone 5) Teaching remotely on Zoom on a laptop I agree that these are perfect for someone seeking really great quality headphones without breaking the bank. There are a couple of things I saw mentioned in previous reviews that I agree with and you may want to consider if you spend a lot of time wearing headphones for your work. 1) They are a bit heavy and after recording or mixing for about an hour I start to feel pressure on the top of my head where the headband rest. 2) They're also a bit tight on the ears, especially if you're wearing glasses. After about the same amount of time I start feeling a soreness where the ear pieces of my glasses are compressed by the cushions. That being said, I think they were a bit stiff out of the box and are wearing in and/or I'm getting more accustomed to them. Either way, I probably should take breaks more often. Haha! Taking them off for about 4-5 minutes usually relieves it.Damian

I love the E series of Lenovo laptops. This is my third one over many years. I must say that this time I opted to get the fingerprint reader. This is the only feature that I've found doesn't work hardly ever. I, first of all, had a hard time finding it as I expected it to be at the bottom right of the keyboard as it has been in so many other Lenovo laptops. This time, it's located on the power on/off button. That took a while to figure out because there was no quick start manual with the package. I haven't given up on it yet, but we'll see. I also opted for the backlit keyboard. It's ho hum from what I expected, but that's okay. Not essential. Otherwise, I love all the features and the ram and the speed of the data transfers etc. I have opted for the E series primarily because it offers me the Thinkpoint built in mouse at the center of the keyboard (that little red dot that nobody knows what to do with). I worked for many years with that red dot on my corporate expensive Thinkpads from 1990-2017 when I retired. Love, love, love Lenovo!SandyB

I love my new Lenovo, it exceeded my expectations. The camera in the computer is better than the majority of external cameras on the market, which is hugely convenient given I use this function often and clients have noticed this too. The build quality is excellent, the processing speed is more than acceptable. If I had to compare it to any other laptop I owned, it would be the Mac Book Pro, which lasted me longer than any other laptop I had and was usable for 6 years (unheard of for me.) No more apple however, since their products are not worth the price. The Lenovo is both solid and light and the display and functionality is fantastic. It may be one of your last chances to own an Office Suite permanent license if that matters to you (I was thrilled to find it and hate subscriptions. Go Lenovo.) I am so far delighted. If I had one complaint, it would be noisy fan speed when a lot of processing is going on. On the flip side, I am happy to know things are cooling off. Way to go Lenovo! The price was decent, factoring in all warranties and etc. It was about the same price as my Apple laptop, but I have reached the point of needing something durable and willing to pay it especially when I started using my computer. Lenovo was helpful as far as working with me on my healthcare provider discount and the machine came much more quickly than advertised. I would recommend this computer and Lenovo generally (I did also consider a workhorse station but my processing needs and other issues made it out of my price range) but I will say I have faith that if I care for this computer, it will be durable and reliable. I should note the battery life isn't really as advertised when data heavy online programs that are electronic record systems that also contain zoom– keep it plugged in you will not get the full battery time. For the price I paid, I have no complaints. It does everything I need it to do and nothing it doesn’t. The battery life is solid, the screen is bright enough, speakers are passable and the keyboard is excellent. I did notice that it runs better on win11 than win10 which is fine for me. If you prefer windows 10, it’s still fast, don’t get me wrong, but it feels just a little snappier on windows 11. My only other small gripe is that I can only charge the laptop on the left side, where some other devices in the price range would have either side as an option. Otherwise this machine does not disappoint!Evander

I already used one of those at work, so I already knew i was getting a quality product. Besides the component that I selected that will vary per order, what I like the most about this laptop is the over all feel. The unit feels sturdy, good on the hand with some sort of a mat suede plastic (whatever that is), and has a great keyboard — in terms of tactile feedback. I'm substracting one star because I wished the battery were removable and that the camera were better.Literally_nobody

It's the basic model of the Surface Pro 7+ line, without any single upgrade or enhancement. It heats up pretty quickly, with as little as 1 hour of use. It may be my fault that I am putting more workload on it than it can take. A metal tablet stand with a fan is suggested to keep it cool. The battery life sucks. Less than two hours of internet surfing brought the battery from full charge to 25%. There is no i3 option with a 1TB SSD and 16GB RAM. RAM is ok, you will get by, however, the storage will suck being limited to 128GB. Really hate the fact that you have to pay $200 for every single upgrade or enhancement on Surface Pro lines. Thankfully there is a microSD card slot, so you can put a 1TB microSD card in it. But be warned that even the best SD cards are limited to a max 90 Mbps speed, with average real-world speeds being only 10-12 Mbps. So it definitely cannot compete with your internal SSD. You will be however able to play STEAM games installed on the SD card though, or use the SD card for storing files. Hopefully, in the future, Microsoft will start shipping Surfaces with an SDUC card slot, instead of the current SDXC standard. SDUC cards reach up to levels of 900 Mbps (ten times more than the current standard), which is almost comparable to SSDs speeds. The other alternative is to use an external SSD card, but it is kind of a hassle to lug it everywhere. I like the Surface Pro 8 better, but it is very expensive. I got this for $600 so I can't complain much. The geekbench score is twice (and sometimes thrice in random tests) compared to my previous full-sized laptop (5 years older). Not bad at all. Lucky for me, I have a desktop too so that I don't have to completely rely on the Surface for my productivity. The touch screen is not comparable to Androids by any means. Thankfully Andriod apps are coming to Windows, and hopefully, Microsoft will improve the touchscreen experience for those apps, finally. In the case of Surface Pro, the price and limitations are not justified for a PC that is trying to be a tablet but fails to be any of them. If you don't have any use for Windows OS, definitely get an Android tablet.qwerty49

I have had this laptop since 2019. From the get-go, it was riddled with problems. A slight shift in weight or change of angle on the computer and the keyboard automatically disconnects, requiring you to remove the keyboard and put it back on to reconnect the device. The keyboard is not only not included in the price of the laptop but is ridiculously expensive especially considering the fact that the mouse broke just after the warranty ended resulting in me now having to take a mouse with me wherever I go as my right click is no longer functional. The battery life of this laptop is heinous if I plan on going to university for more than 2.5 hours I must bring my charger as more likely than not it will die within that period of time – this is not due to general wear and tear as it has been like this from the beginning. I have spoken to several other friends that had also bought this laptop at a similar time, and all have had similar if not the same problems. I would not recommend it to anyone.maddieh1212

Bad computer overall- I am a high school student with this computer and I am required to have a computer that is able to be used all day, and this computer is a nightmare to deal with. The keyboard breaks after a couple of months (At least 75% of people who I know with this computer, their keyboard has broken) and the replacement keyboards are ridiculously expensive. The battery runs out in a couple of hours even with minimal use and on battery saver mode. It is frustrating to use anywhere not on a desk (as the keyboard is 'floppy' and the design is impractical). The screen breaks incredibly easily (mine somehow broke while it was in a case, in my bag). The computer is pretty fast, however, but that is about the only good thing. Everyone I know with this computer unamisously agrees that it is not worth the money and frustrating. Don't get this, especially for your kid.alex21496

Sennheiser's newest Momentum 4 Over-Ear headphones return their well known audio quality with a touch of modern styling. The Momentum 4's include a nice cloth-feel carrying case that included more goodies inside. Along with a quick tip manual, a USB C cable, aux cable, and 2 male prong aux to female aux adapter (for flights) were included with the headphones. After previously owning a pair of Sennheiser headphones during the early craze of the Beats days, I knew to expect outstanding audio quality and comfort. The earcups are soft and while the can make the outside of your ears sweat a little, were comfortable enough for me to be worn for hours at a time without ear strain. In addition to the comfort, they truly sound amazing and immerse you into what you're listening. From the blows of fighting to the wind blowing when watching the anime Attack on Titan, I really was in awe of how I could hear every detail in each scene. The bass trembled when buildings were toppled. Dialogue was crisp. As for music, highs were well pronounced and did not sound harsh. Lows were smooth and did not overly engross the music. To put how well these headphones sounded in perspective, I usually do not like to exclude myself from the outside world by drowning out outside noise with headphones. After wearing them for several hours, I am brought back to wanting to experience the immersive audio again. In addition to the thrilling audio, the Momentum 4 has outstanding battery life. According to Sennheiser, it is able to last 60 hours on a single charge. In my testing, I found the same. After using them for several hours a day (1-3 hours each day, sometimes less or more) for several weeks (not days, WEEKS), they performed amazingly and it wasnt until the beginning of the 4th week I had to charge them. WOW, crazy battery life. Another thing to also note is audio can be played wired without the need for the battery. If the battery does die, you are still able to play music wired via the aux port. Sennheiser added touch sensitive controls to their newest headset and included them on the outside of the right earcup. Actions include control for audio, calls, and noise cancellation. One of the actions while listening to audio is by tapping on the surface on the outside of the earcup, audio can be played and paused. Another action that can be done while listening to audio is by swiping up or down, the volume can be raised or lowered, respectively. One last action I would like to mention is when on a phone call, is by swiping to the left or right, the call can be ended or answered, respectively. I did find these controls helpful and did not find it easy to accidentally do any of these actions. Lastly, I also liked how Sennheiser incorporated for audio to be paused when the headphones are removed (setting can be changed from the Smart Control app if preferred otherwise). Sennheiser also has an app called Sennheiser Smart Control that can be downloaded from the Android or Apple app stores. This app allows you to control audio equalizer settings, update the firmware of the headset, a Sound Zones feature, Active Noise Cancellation settings, and a Sidetone feature (for adjusting how natural your voice sounds during a call). Right off the bat after opening the headset, there was an update that needed to be performed and the only downside to this was I found the update take over 40 minutes to install (Sennheiser did state before the update it could take up to an hour to complete). In the app, a cool feature I noticed was how you can set "sound zones". This lets you customize audio equalizer settings depending on your location. When you step into your "sound zone", your audio will automatically adjust to the setting you set in the app. Other than the amount of time it took to update the headphones the first time, the only other downside I found was in the new design Sennheiser incorporated in the headphones. The earcups are not able to fold in nor the headband and become more compact for storage as compared to the Momentum's previous iteration. They are only able to be stored in their U shaped position. Overall, the Momentum 4 sounds amazing and made me fall back in love with over-ear headphones. They sound great, are comfortable, and have new useful features that allow for control of audio and calls without having to touch your other device. I recommend them to anyone looking for quality headphones that will last them for years to come.MoGJ

I purchased a pair of these headphones almost week ago and haven't taken them off my head other than to sleep. Here are my 2 cents on the headphones. The battery life is insane, the advertised 60hours at mid-volume is pretty close to what I've gotten. Other than the initial charge to full, I only needed to charge them once last night. Probably the best aspect of these headphones is never having to charge them which seems kinda weird, but being double the battery life of XM5s or QC's its pretty notable. The audio quality is great. I'm not an audiophile but they sound great (what you'd expect from Sennheiser) with punchy bass and crispy highs. if the audio profile doesn't suit you the Sennheiser app provides an EQ to help you tune the audio to your taste. The active noise cancellation (ANC) and transparency modes work well but lag behind some of the competitors in the space (eg the sony xm5s). The ANC still works well and honestly if you aren't directly comparing them next to other headphones you won't even notice. The build quality is magnificent. The padding and headband are comfortable, and overall makes wearing them for long periods of time very easy. So people say that the weight is kinda heavy but i like the weight as the heft makes them feel a bit more durable. The touch controls work well and let you control most of the features straight from the right ear cup. The smart pause feature will pause your audio when you take off the headphones or remove the right earcup but doesn't pause the audio when you remove the left earcup for whatever reason, which is weird not to include, but if I don't want my music to pause as I talk to somebody I just remove the left earcup. I guess I could justify it as unintentionally providing flexibility in using the headphones. The app that Sennheiser offers as a companion with the headphones, which lets you tune the EQ, create sound zones, and change side tones works well. with that being said I have noticed that the headphones don't automatically connect to the app when i open it up (even if they are connected to my phone) and will take a second to connect. there has been a couple of occasions where the app just can't connect to my momentum 4s at all, and I've gotta turn off my headphones to reconnect them to the app which can be a bit annoying. also updating the firmware on the headphones take a while so do it at night if you plan on doing it. Even with all that being said the app can be fixed and doesn't really diminish the experience. Overall these are great headphones. If you don't mind not having the best in class ANC (but still good) and a mildly buggy app these headphones are fantastic. The battery life and audio quality alone are reasons enough for me to suggest the headphones.Scott

PROS – Excellent balanced sound – Intuitive touch controls – Stellar batter life – Crystal clear microphone on calls CONS – Headphones un-pause often while wearing around neck DESIGN + COMFORT First, the basics. The Momentum 4s come in a hard shell carrying case. The case has an invisible zipper, giving the case a clean look. Inside the case there is a mesh pouch and elastic holders to keep the 3.5mm headphone cable, airplane adapter, and USB-C cable tidy. Overall, the design is attractive, but a departure from the Momentum 3s and the models before it. Gone is the metal and exaggerated features for a more modern and what I assume a more widely appealing look, however the headphones now mostly blend in a sea of similarly designed headphones. While I won’t call it a “con” of these headphones, it’s okay to be different. That being said even with the additional plastic in this progression of the Momentum line, these are still obviously premium headphones. The ear cups are clean and smooth to give ample space for the new touch controls. This smoothness is contrasted with a graphite-colored cloth along the outside of the headband which has a obviously dialed in head clamping force, something that Sennheiser has perfected over the years. The foam along the inside of the headband is firm but supportive, while the ear cups is soft and comfortable allowing these headphones to be worn for hours on end. CONTROLS + PORTS Most of the controls as I mentioned are now touch on the right ear cup with the exception of a power button. A tap will play/pause, swipe forward/back to skip/restart. The Momentum 4s have an adaptive ANC which adjusts to the environment around you, but if you have this disabled you can adjust how much of your surrounding environment is blocked out by “pinching” or “zooming” on the touch controls. Additionally, with a quick double tap you can switch between maximum noise cancelation and full transparency mode if you are wanting to have a conversation with a person without having to raise your voice. One issue that I did have was with the head detection feature which utilizes "wear" sensor to detect when the cups are over your ears to automatically play/pause audio. The audio sometimes un-pauses with the headphones around my neck, which can be annoying in the middle of a conversation. I believe this is due to the clamp force causing the ear cups to touch which it then interprets as being on your head. This is definitely not a deal breaker so for now I have disabled this feature and I just play and pause manually. Sennheiser has been issuing new firmware updates so I'll be checking back to see if this gets fixed. APP The application is your place to tweak and enhance your Momentum 4 experience and there is quite a bit to unpack. The obvious inclusions are the equalizer and connectivity settings when you can manage up to two simultaneously connected devices. Sennheiser even provides a “Sound Check” feature giving you a guided method to select from different samples which sounds the best and then produce its recommendation of what equalizer settings you should use. In addition to the touch controls to select the level of noise cancelation you can adjust this through the application as well. And if you want to have certain settings in certain geographic areas, Sennheiser has you covered there too. By creating a Sound Zone you can adjust ANC and equalizer settings when entering and leaving a location automating how your headphones work when driving or traveling from your home to your office in the mornings and afternoons. Finally, Sidetone allows a mic monitoring like feature which passes your voice through the mic to the headphones when on a phone call, this is especially helpful to avoid something that I’m often guilty of, which is talking on the phone loudly when my headphones are on and the ANC is turned all the way up. SOUND And how do the headphones sound? In my opinion these headphones default setting is extremely well balanced to begin with, but I finally settled on -2,-2,+2 as my EQ settings. I listen to a mix of genres from Pop, Country, Rock, and Hip-Hop and thought the Momentum 4s provided adequate thumping bass, dynamic mids and crystal clear highs for a highly immersive audio listening experience. And on the other end the microphones sound great too! I work in an environment (data center) that has loud but pretty consistent sound and the noise canceling microphones are able to nearly eliminate the noise for the people on the side of the line to hear me clearly as well as block out the noise so that I could enjoy my music and not the buzz of computers and fans around me. Is the ANC perfect? No, it's very close to being on par with other brands and does a great job for 95% of peoples' day-to-day lives. Finally, the last great thing about the Momentum 4s is the stellar battery life that lasts over 2 days (60 hours total) and blows many other competitors out of the water. I wanted these for mix down in my home studio and was hoping to use them for tracking also. The sound is quite good, I will probably keep them for mixing BUT…the phones are HEAVY and not particularly comfortable. The REAL problem is the stupid coil cord. What an awful design! Very heavy, and not long enough. I can buy a new straight cord for twenty dollas. WHAT A DEAL! (being sarcastic there). There is also tons of handling noise coming from the cord, much worse than any of my other phones. Like I said, these are probably OK for mixing (I will more than likely break down and get the new cord) but not at all good for standing up vocal tracks. Might send 'em back, not sure yet. The worst headphones i have ever had the displeasure of buying in my life. These headphones are the max of discomfort on my head and made my ears hurt within 15 mins of trying them. The telephone cord is annoying to use and just confuses me when i bought a professional headset not an office brand cheap pair. Sadly you cannot return headphones due to store policy so i am down valuable money for taking a chance on these headphones. Please save yourself the trouble and do not repeat my mistake.Seaton H

I had been looking for new headphones for a while. I needed to replace my beats solos, I hated the sound of the beats. It was quite unenjoyable. The 440s are built extremely well, although made primarily of plastic they don't feel cheap in any way. The adjustable headband can be increased in size in order to fit larger heads. Right and left clearly marked (Red:Right Blue:Left) Also labelled on the headband. Overall these headphones are very customizable. The 10 foot coiled cable is durable and of high quality. The cable is really cumbersome when using headphones with a cell phone or iPod, I suggest purchasing a replacement 120 cm cable from China, by doing that these headphones become more portable and mobile friendly. The carrying pouch is made of synthetic leather. I've used the adapter to listen to records through my receiver, used it with my iMac, taken it around places, used my iPhone and iPod classic. These headphones have handled every situation they were placed in with flying colors. The only complaints I have would be the headband padding (which is non-existing) which makes the headphones a bit uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. For $100 there really isn't much to complain about, there is a lot to be praised such as the amazing sound quality and frequency response. These headphones were a much needed upgrade.girasol3

I have been really impressed by these headphones, and so has my wife—who uses them the most now and claims that they are hers my right of conquest. Oh well, she can have them if she enjoys them so much! Anyway, onto the review. For the price, these are the best Active Noise Cancelation (ANC) over-the-ear headphones I have tried so far. They have two levels of ANC, a high and a low, a “be aware setting” that uses the built-in mics to enhance your awareness of what is around you, and a mode where any electronic noise filtering is turned off and you are just utilizing the normal isolation of the earcups for your listening experience. The high level of ANC, is comparative to my Airpod Pros. While this is not saying a lot considering Airpod Pros do not necessarily have the most incredible ANC, the difference is that these JLab Studio Pros have a reported 43 HOURS of ANC listening time at medium volume, which is far more than the 3-1/2 to 4 hours ANC time I get on my Airpod Pros. For the price of these headphones and the quality of the ANC, I think that I would want to equip my whole family with these on a long flight. Not to mention, it includes a USB-C to 3.5mm headphone jack that can allow you to plug into the airline’s audio jacks for movies and such. The quality of the audio is middling. There are three EQ settings built in. A balanced, bass boost, and Jlab signature setting. Much to my irritation, the instructions included with these headphones did not tell you how to change between these settings: you need to press the up and down volume buttons at the same time to change between the EQ modes. Of these three, I like the Jlab signature mode the best. These headphones are lacking in bass and treble clarity in general, but that really isn’t a deal-breaker if you are looking into quality ANC headphones at a decent price. Overall, these get a solid recommend from me. I think they would be popular for individuals who travel a lot, like traveling executives and don’t want to risk expensive headphone varieties getting broken or stollen. They are very well designed, made very easy to setup, comfortable, and have very good clear sound! Now, I do not miss a word or sound! However, I am giving a four star rating, because allthough the earpieces are made of a very hard plastic, I fear they might crack if they fall. A big plus is, the battery lasts forever! I have watched eight (8) movies in the three days that I've had them, and the battery still has half a charge! By the way, the JLab Audio Studio Pro Bluetooth Wireless Over-Ear Headphones come with a ten (10) inch charging cable, which I wish were much longer! The JLab Audio Studio Pro Bluetooth Wireless Over-Ear Headphones, are very easy to use, and connect to your bluetooth device. Once your device is on bluetooth mode, it's a breeze to connect to the JLab Audio Studio Pro Bluetooth Wireless Over-Ear Headphones! The controls of the JLab Audio Studio Pro Bluetooth Wireless Over-Ear Headphones needed to turn on/off, are comfortably placed on the lower side of one of the earphones for very easy access. There is a small round button which when pressed for eight seconds will greet the user with a friendly "hello", and right after will say how much charge the headphones have. To disconnect, the same button is pressed for two seconds, and the voice will say, "goodbye". Close to the comfortable small on/off button, is an oblong shaped button which controls the volume, and sound. The included user instructions are very clear to see, follow, and understand. I decided to give the brand a shot as a wireless product, which I didn't own before. There are definite quality differences here, as the price point certainly would qualify. To be true and fair, the actual fit and functionality of the item is very good. They fit quite comfortably over each ear. The buttons and set up are easy enough to navigate. Yet… here's the problem: inconsistency with the actual stereo sound through the right ear speaker. No matter which source I use (home PC, Nook tablet, Samsung phone) via Bluetooth, it can never consistently capture sound in both ears from beginning to end. It has become frustrating, especially when I rolled the dice and gave them a shot. The noise cancelling portion actually worked well within its limitations. Others have written of a lack of bass, and they are right. That's ok with me.. if both ears are receiving sound. It is disappointing. Not sure if I should purchase another one to see if it is a fluke in manufacturing.JoseQ
