Reviews:
This radiator was purchased to replace a DeLonghi radiator that had to be retired after 20+ years of service, and seems to possess the same quality construction, if not better. It has performed well thus far. The temperatures on the digital display have been consistent with the readings from the thermometer in the room, which allows me to set it and know that the room will remain at the desired temperature. Very pleased with this product.Laura O.
I bought this unit for my mother in-law that now lives with us, She had a basic oil filled space heater with no t-stat or child lock-out, just LO-MED-HI . She is 78 yrs old, and keeps her 12 x 17 ft + bath room at 76-80 degrees, my electric bill went from $ 75.00 to $ 350.00 after she moved in. My house is all LP gas, range/water heater . & pellet stove. My neighbor heats his 600 sq ft house at 66-68 degrees with your same ECO heater just 1-2 yrs. older, and his whole house is electric, except the dryer (gas) and his bill is about $ 175.00 a month . I just got my new bill and it was $ 273.00 . I have it set at 75 degrees on ECO and locked so she can"t mess with it. Now this current bill was 4 days shorter than the last one. If i could get her to stop using the electric blanket when not necessary, that would save more $ . The only thing that would improve efficiency would be a small 2-3" DC computer fan. integrated into the system to push the hot air up & out. Or maybe you already build one like that, i did not see one on your website. This ECO heater is awesome as does everything it promised. Thanks Dwayne , Placerville Ca.dwayne
This is an excellent unit and heats even the largest of spaces. We purchased this to help keep our camper warm during the winter so we wouldn't have to use Propane. This is so excellent it heats perfect and the temperature is great. It maintains accurate and everything works great.Cliff

Reviews:
This heater is great! We have a 2-story home with a finished basement and central cooling/heating. Our insulation isn't great and some of our pipes run along an outside wall. Every winter we have issues with our water lines freezing, because regardless of the time of year or what temp we set our thermostat, our basement is always very cold. We mounted this heater on the wall in our basement and we haven't had any issues since. It works great and is easy to use! We can't speak to the longevity of the product since we haven't had it very long, but we don't anticipate any issues. Definitely a great purchase for us, and we'd highly recommend! #sweepstakesSara
Some much quieter & smaller than my 10 year old infrared heater. Both 1500W. Too new to give it 5 s but if it lasts 10 years it will be worth every penny! I purchased a 1000W Heat Storm infrared heater, a couple years ago, for 12×12 enclosure and it heats the area easily during January & February making the space useable year round. I really like the auto mode vs manual select high or low setting. Has the option to wall mount but since it is portable and I am only using it seasonally I wont be using that feature. My sister in-law was so impressed she purchased 1 too.tpwoodchuck

It turns on but it doesnt do anything it doesnt blow air absolutely nothing. And i didnt buy the protection so but now i learned to every time buy protection for electronics..Sadreview

Reviews:
I have had infrared heater before and prefer it over regular electric heater as the infrared heater does not dry out the air and make the skin itchy. So far this Lifesmart's infrared heater serves us well during this winter season. I like especially the way it looks. It is more than just a heater – it practically a furniture rather. The only gripe I have is when it is first turned on, it could be very loud. But after a short while it becomes quieter. Hopefully this machine can last for a long time. (The infrared heaters we owned in the past died after 3 seasons on average.)A Child of God
Lost heat 3 weeks ago and it has been in use constantly , keeping most of my apartment comfortable while I'm waiting for new heating system. Many nights have been teens or even single digits temps. I like that the case remains cool to the touch allowing to be safely placed almost anywhere.RICK
I ordered the Lifesmart Infrared Tower Heater to use in the gaming room in my basement. It is smaller than I expected. As for the heater I received, it is ok and is inset in a dark wooden cabinet. It comes with a remote control and has various settings to keep you warm and comfortable. It has triple oversized infrared heating elements, too. Our basement can tend to be a little chilly as most basements are, so a heater like this will help take the chill out of the air without having to raise the household thermostat temperature. The wood casing makes it blend well with furniture and for practical purposes, this one will do the job.SheRa

It is a hybrid infrared. 60% of the heat comes from a relatively new PTC heater. 40% comes from infrared. It heats the air and objects in the room at the same time. I have a small home of 1250 sq. ft. I have three of these heaters at various places and have been able to shut my gas furnace down entirely. Since they are very stingy on electricity, my monthly heating bill is now much less than it used to be! I would recommend this heater to anyone without hesitation!ripr-5662
My neighbor called and asked if my heatpump was running all the time. I said yes a lot 15 minutes on and 5 minutes off. He said his is running full time. The temperature reached 22* here in southcentral TX. Which is very rare for this part of the country. I told him I would research portable heaters. After reading two hours of reviews about heating I decided that the best bang for the buck was the Dr Infrered 968 heater from HayNeedle. I ordered two, one for my neighbor and the other unit for me. We are both very satisfied with the way that this heater works the controls and safety features. Neither one of us has had to turn on the ac/ heat pumps for the main living area about 1,500 sq ft. Just read all the reviews. The Dr Infrered Portable is everything that they say.Michael
I've owned this heater for 18 months. Only used sometimes in the winter obviously, so it hasn't been run that much. Quartz tube already burned out. warranty is 3 years. $25 minimum shipping fee to send it to the manufacturer for repairs. Then I'm without a heater for an unknown length of time and it's a cold January right now. Tube is supposed to last much longer. Half the heat without it. Disappointed in the short life of the product as it is billed as a premium heater.BBB Customer

Bought last year when our old one quit working and used couple of months until the weather warmed up. Worked great and was more than enough to keep the front of the house warm. Never really used it on high only low with no issues. Pulled it out last month when it got cold and worked fine until today. Burning smell last night and woke up to a rather cool house this morning. Tried to turn the heater up and got nothing. Thermostat clicks, light is on, but no heat or fan. Dead after roughly 4 months of use! I believe it has something to do with how it draws in air from the bottom and blows it vertically. Just sucks in too much gunk from the floor like dust and hair which gums it up inside. Could do with a foam filter that is accessible for cleaning. Going to have to go with a horizontal design since I've had much better longevity from them.Brian
I received a complimentary Honeywell 360 Surround Heat Heater complimentary for testing purposes. I reside in a state that can have all seasons in one day. We also live in a two story so to keep the upstairs comfy we have to keep the heat lower in the cool months which makes the downstairs chilly at times. This heater has been perfect in our kitchen at the bay window. It helps us stay warm when it’s chilly. It is a great size and heats the whole room. This is a simple set up, no assembly needed and comes with a user manual that is easy to follow. It plugs into an outlet and has two turn style knobs. One knob controls the heat setting and there is two, low or high. The other knob is a temperature control that can be adjusted. Once the heater gets to room temperature it will automatically shut off and then turn on again and so forth. It is suggested to allow the heater to cook for ten minutes before moving after use. There is a handle on the top that is cool to the touch for easy movement/handling. This has been just so easy to use and just a great little heater for our downstairs area.ReneeC
I can always count on a Honeywell. The HHF360V doesn't have the fancy bells and whistles; it isn’t digital; no remote control. However, it puts out heat like a beast and never fails to run. I have two that have run as supplemental heat for years (through grad school, postdoc, etc…). Got another. I'm associating them with smart plugs and will use them to warm the garage on demand as needed. Clearly, this tactic to warm the garage with these space heaters would not work in the upper Midwest from Dec-March/April, however here in the South they will work perfectly.DrScienceNerd

Reviews:
This is my review of the Honeywell Digital Ceramic Tower Heater, Grey, Model HCE322V I really like this heater. I would have to say my favorite feature is the timer. Although, it would be better if the lowest time setting was thirty minutes instead of one hour. I also like that the tower rotates in a wide range, because when it’s not rotating, the heat range narrow. The coil is only about 2 inches wide. It does a good job of heating the bedroom though. One feature that annoys me, but is a good safety feature, is that if you pick up the heater to move it a little or something while it’s on, it turns off. Definitely an evil necessity. It has a very nice red digital display. Each button has a symbol displayed, to show the function, and also a red dot light above it to show which function is being used. It’s a nice slim design with a groove at the top back of the tower, for carrying it. Light weight. Can easily be stored in a small space. There is an easily removable dust cover on the back that can be taken off and cleaned. This is definitely the most high-tech space heater I’ve ever owned and would recommend it.tswa73
I received the Honeywell Digital Ceramic Tower Heater and its great! We have a heater that doesn't work very well and take forever to heat up but this one is very fast at heating and also has a temperature digital controls so you can set it at exactly what temperature you want it at. It has many other cool features like this including; programmable thermostat, powerful 1500 watt, dust filter, cool touch plastic housing, oscillating sturdy base, 360 degree tip -over protection, touch located digital controls, auto off timer option, and dual motor system. One of my favorite things about it is that it run very quietly. I don't hear it while I'm watching tv or while having company over. I have found it works best if you put it in a room or smaller work space it heats up better but it does still work great for larger rooms as well just takes longer to heat up the entire room. I think its a very high quality heater without spending an arm and leg to get it. I recommend this product for anyone that is looking for a good priced heater that actually works great!Bri
I bought this heater to replace a very noisy LASCO tower heater that never really performed well in my home office room even though it is slightly taller and larger diameter and rated similarly to the very slim and trim Honeywell. I am well pleased with the Honeywell slim tower heater. It runs very quietly to the point I have to listen for it when running on low. It's very quiet on high also. This heater displaces heat very evenly on oscillation. Oscillation is noiseless and heats room to comfort. I don't use the timer. The temperature setting has too wide of a range from off to back on. It shuts off 1 degree higher than set and cools down about 5-6 degrees before coming back on. Altho I use the temperature setting very little, it dose work well and is a nice added feature. I never leave an electric heater running when not in the room. After turning off, your desired settings have to be reset when turned back on, which is not really a factor for me. Since it's early fall I am only using the low setting for now. Later, as it gets colder, it should be nice and comfy when set on high. Way to go Walmart! A nice product.Charles

Reviews:
The Comfort Zone CZ550 1500w Electric Radiant Space Heater with Adjustable Thermostat, is a great little compact heater that we are using in the colder months out in the garage and also in the newly added family room. I love it's portability. It really knows how to crank out the heat quickly and quietly. Additionally, we love all the features this one comes with. I start it out on high to get the chill out of the air, then once it starts getting toasty, I turn it to low. I especially like the safety overheat protection feature in case I go inside and forget to turn it off. On especially cold mornings I also use it in our Family room that isn't part of our central heating system. Its my favorite room in the house, but in the Winter months, I used to freeze. Not anymore! This heater is just the ticket to keep me warm while I enjoy my morning coffee. Another thing that made me chose this particular heater is the all metal housing that does not get hot to the touch. This is a great little heater with many important user friendly features. I love it!Chio
I bought this two years ago, it worked ok it really just took the chill out of the air. Now that it’s another winter my second winter with these bad boys, I feel like they suck! I did buy two at the time, they’re dangerous around kids although my kids knew not to touch it the heat on the item made it really hot. My second thing is this year they no longer work. One of them the button for “on/off” got locked in the on position, I have tried to fix it… the second just won’t stay on unless I bang on the floor.. almost like there’s a short on the inside somewhere so I had to write a review so others could know. I do not recommend this product it is a waste of your money. Find another!Roses
This magnificent, 1500w portable electric radiant space heater by Comfort Zone, provides heat, quickly, effectively, efficiently and safely. It has an adjustable thermostat, a metal body with stay-cool metal housing, plastic legs that snap into grooves, a tip-over safety feature, overheat shutdown and alarm and indicator lights. The heater takes up little space and is fairly quiet. It is sturdy, compact, lightweight, easy and convenient to carry and transport from room to room, wherever and whenever added warmth is needed. Reviews:
This has been an effective space heater. I keep my room around 75F/22C, and it’s only raised my electric bill about ten dollars. The fan seems to work well which makes it way better than the ones that don’t have fans. It’s really convenient to control it with my phone. The room it’s in is about 110 sq ft. The only complaint is that I should have gotten one that had optional feet because I have ended up moving it around a bunch. Other than that one thing, I’m happy with it so far.YvonneB
Love these units! This I bought for my rv – perfect for this use. I work in property management and this is the only model that works exceptionally well with a digital thermostat, mounts on the wall and is reasonably priced. (Tenants run off with the free standing models). Extremely easy to mount and simple to operate – simply hang, set your temperature and walk away. If for some reason the thermostat seems off for your needs, it can be recalibrated (although it is a bit tricky). Love the new dark color as past models were always white. Downside is that the remote is cheesy and inefficient so we don't use them, nor are they needed…Lori
What sets this heater apart is the WiFi control (either with Google Home if you have it, or with the dedicated app). Easy to set up a schedule (I have it set up with Google Home and I can control from anywhere with my iPhone app). The room I am using it in gets some heat from other parts of the house, but not enough – this heater brings it up to temperature within an hour or so. The thermostat on the device is not 100% accurate – but usually it is close enough. I think it is expensive compared to other basic heaters – you pay a lot for the WiFi featureBBB Customer Patrick

I love this heater! It works great, and the vintage look was exactly what I wanted. It heats up my room very quickly – definitely does the job. It's not a heater with all the bells and whistles (two speeds, manually operated), but that's exactly what I was looking for. Just a simple, well made, and good looking heater that works. Heads up, it makes a whirring sound, but I actually prefer that white noise. All in all, very happy with the product!Hcvb
I received this as a birthday gift so it's not a verified purchase, but I know the purchaser ordered it directly from Vornado. There really is no competition to this heater that I know of available today. Even most of the all-metal heaters you find are lightweight and have cheap-feeling controls. Not this one. It's solid and the controls feel heavy duty. The low (750 watt) setting is nearly silent and it's perfect for directing a stream of heat toward one person or two people sitting close to each other, or when you only need you warm the room up a little. The high (1500 watt) setting uses a higher fan speed so it sends heated air all around the room for fast heating. The orange power indicator light on the base is useful because it reminds you that the heater is turned on, which would be easy to forget if it's on the low speed or if the thermostat had shut it off because the room reached the required temperature. This isn't the cheapest heater you'll find but you get what you pay for. This one feels like it'll last for many years.Ken14
10. Vornado Automatic Whole Room Heater

Product Details:
The awrh sits atop of vornado’s next generation of whole room heaters. the modern styling on the outside hints at an enhanced design within – including automatic climate control to automatically adjust and maintain a balanced room temperature. while the heat output is enough to keep everyone in the room comfortable, the awrh’s exterior remains cool to the touch. using specifically tuned airflow called “vortex action”, the awrh creates a twisting current of air that flows fast, warm and gentle – circulating the heat throughout the entire room using the walls and ceilings as pathways. from touch sensitive controls, to remote control, to the auto-off timer, the awrh is certainly top in its class!!

Reviews:
I have several of the Vornado products, including 2 of these. You need to read the instructions to understand pushing Power to get into the various modes. The remote, as many say, is near field, and I dont even know where they are. I also recommend their yellow/black floor fans. I have 3 of those. They circulate an amazing amount of air and not only good in the shop, but for drying out carpet after shampooing . ALSO I think they should add under "where did you purchase" a "both", as I have done for several of their productsskipdog
Used them and bought as gifts for years. They are wonderful, Warm soothing heat from heaven Nothing compares. You owe it to yourself to buy their products. . It’s truly a lasting gift. So warm so small so effective at what it promises. Everyone should have their heaters and fans. If you like to be warm or cool. You must try itMrs D
Let's start with the basics: The Vornado TAVH10is a compact, adjustable, air circulating whole room heater with remote control and touch sensitive LED display control panel located on the top. The operating instructions are easy to understand. The My highly positive opinion of the Vornado TAVH10 started to form as I removed the heater from its box. Printed on the inner box flap is the message: "we expect this product to be PERFECT – if it's not WE will make it right." I appreciate companies which stand behind their products and value quality and customer satisfaction. The heater has a 5 year SATISFACTION Guarantee! I placed the heater in the living room (800 sq. ft.) and set the temperature to 76 degrees, which it achieved within 15 minutes and maintained without a hitch. I did not need to increase the television volume to compete with operating noises. I really like the fact that the heater circulates the air; yet, there was no noticeable 'air drafts' which could blow/move dust and papers around. The outside of the heater remained cool to the touch during operation, so I had no concern about my dogs burning themselves if they came into accidental contact with it. The heater sits very stable on the floor with zero tipping over tendency, even when bumped. The safety mechanism (located on the heater's underside) is a pressure-activated switch which is depressed when the heater is set down on the floor. Lifting the heater immediately activates the auto-off safety feature. The Vornado is by far superior to any ceramic, element or oil heater I have owned. My only criticism is that the control panel is very sensitive and there is no panel lock. I highly recommend the Vornado and would not hesitate to buy a second one!

Works great for a small room. Designed to hang on wall saves floor space. Exactly as pictured, great value, and would recommend. I like the temp control, it's easy to use and remote means you don't have to get up or out of bed to adjust temperature. Light on heater is a little bright… I use it as a nightlight for room.Diane
We use this heater in a bedroom that had its radiator removed before we purchased this house. The room is approximately 12' by 14', and getsmighty cold on freezing winter nights. We used to use a floor space heater, but the ones we has were 1.) noisy; 2.) a fire hazard if anyone left dirty laundry too close; 3.) drove up our electricity bills noticeably. The Heatstorm eliminated all these problems. The quartz technology is safe and very effective. The fact that it mounts on the wall saves floor space and minimizes fire hazards. It's much cheaper to run, and is considerably less noisy. The quartz element should last us about ten years (20000 hrs), compared to the 3 – 5 years lifespans our electric heaters have lasted. Last but not least, it's thin and attractive, the size of a shirt gift box. All in all, we are very happpy with the Heatstorm.Louise the Thrifty

I thought for years this was the best portable electric heater. Now it seems to have a better thermostat. I have used and even worked at selling portable electric heaters and I see no need buying any other unless you just want something smaller. Sure no advantage to buying a more expensive one. No 1500 watt will be safer or produce more heat. None are meant to heat an entire house unless it's a tiny house. Great for one room. More than enough for any bathroom I've seen. Radiant heat can be felt 6ft or so away. Great for work shop. Light weight makes it easy to move from room to room. Safety shutoff if tilted or turned over.ted
This a very cost effective space heater to warm any area during a chilly winter, or – as we had during the early part of the Wisconsin spring – a slightly nippy start to spring. It works to warm a bedroom, normal sized living room (unsure of those with an open plan large setting), or a small area of a basement that you are working in. It has three settings, and has tip-over & overheat protection. I like this product an awful lot, and thus I'll give it 4.5 stars. It does NOT have a remote, but I bought a separate one for that purpose. I am taking a half of a star off because EVEN though it does have tip over protection (meaning it shuts off in that case), it is slightly more easy to tip over than I thought it was. So if you have pets, it might NOT be the BEST idea to use it when they are out playing – NOT so much for safety sake, but to prevent your fur baby from getting injured stepping on it.cpp_progjoe
We got this heater to use in our son’s chilly bedroom (roughly 15’x15’) as supplemental heat. It worked great and heated the room comfortably on high in about 7 minutes. We placed it on a chair in the middle of the room and that worked well; sides, back and bottom stay cool. We also tried using it in a larger room but it was not quite as successful. It is surprisingly loud (doesn’t matter low or high setting, both are equal). It does not oscillate. The thermostat does a good job if set, the unit shuts off until the room dips below the set temperature. Drawback of thermostat is it does not have any indicators of temperature rather is just a gradient dial (skinny to fat). It does have a great safety feature of if tipped (front, sides, or back) it shuts off. The cord is also a good length to allow for use further from walls or other items that could catch fire. Overall, a decent heater but depends on your intended use.Gypseiz

Initial setup with Google Assistant was quick and painless. The smartphone app allows the user to easily dial in a specific temperature. I wouldn't suggest this unit to people who are searching for a heater that will fill a large room. We have this in a small dining room and it can only manage to warm half of it. With that being said, I don't have any fears of the unit over heating or causing any issues.J567
I think its pretty good. I use it with my new echo 4th gen and it works really well. Has safety features like a tip over sensor and over heat sensor. I can change or maintain any temperature I choose (above house temperature but below 89 degrees) just by speaking. Very useful when I am busy doing something or if I just feel lazy and don't want to get up. I also have it connected to the Alexa app so when it detects that I am coming home, the heater will turn on. Really useful during the winter. Overall, I would recommend this product to any person that wants a heater. And I got the heater for $120 there might be a price change from the time I got it but hopefully not.Isaac
Solid packaging, everything arrived in one piece. Sharp looking, although the unit is a bit light and, of course, all hard plastic. Would have preferred a heavier base, but the wind won't blow it over. Don't look for hardcopy directions in the box, included in the app. Smart setup typical, the usual – find the wireless, but no real issues. Google integration seamless. Took me a minute to figure out the Oscillation command. I'll save you the trouble. Use exact, "Hey Google, Heater ossiculate on/off". So you can see I love it as a Smart device and all its tricks, scheduling and the design. Now as a heater? not so much, 3 stars at best. It's very quiet, but the fan doesn't blow all that hard either, but the heat is good and hot. And the 750 sq ft. coverage they claim, haven't tested, but my 300 sq ft room, would seem to be the max. And my California cool, take the edge off, is not Midwest cold. I can feel the heat blowing about 3-4 ft away, that's it. So if you're looking for a 10 degree bump, this is a good one. More than that, you're on your own. But if you're a techy, you'll enjoy!Ripster

Reviews:
I have a nice remodeled bathroom with one regret – it does not have heated floors. I like the cooler temperature in the house overall, but not when I get out of the shower still a bit wet and it is cold. I have been looking for something that can heat up the bathroom space quickly and look stylish. This heater ticks all the boxes. It looks fantastic – modern, nicely enclosed in the white wooden-(like) casing. I like the front display and the decorative black screen that looks really sleek when the heater is on, and glowing reddish-orange. It heats up very quickly. One thing that needs to be kept in mind – the back of this heater can't be put against a wall – must be several inches off the wall, I assume for safe operation. I use the 30 min timer so I don't forget to turn it off when I leave. The only improvement that I would have liked to see is for the remote control to have a better range. It would have been so nice to turn it on without getting out of bed so the bathroom pre-heats before I go in. But all in – amazing!Nikk23
This heater looks nice but doesn't really heat as well as advertised. It was okay in a livingroom but could not seem to handle the larger family room which is much less than the advertised space that it should be able to heat. Also, the cabinetry is not well put together. The top is loose – like it could lift off. I don't feel very secure with this heater so I will be returning it.Mary Bl
I received a Duraflame – Infrared Quartz electric heater in the mail , about 3 weeks ago . It was super easy to assemble . I love the color of the electric heater . Small, but powerful. I believe the low reviews are because of the users lack of knowledge. There are two safety switches. One on the bottom that is compressed when the unit it on the flat service and one on the back that detects objects. You need to make sure the unit is on a flat surface and make sure nothing is near the unit to trigger the rear sensor. Also, the heater draws 2.5 amps so if you have a weak socket or a socket with other items it could throw the breaker or cause other issues. Read the instructions. It has a 3 year warranty. Ceramic heaters produce heat the fastest out of the other types.Junior
I'm really impressed with this heater. I bought it a couple years ago and use it practically 24/7 during the winter, and it's still going strong. It's nice and small but cranks out the heat with a good fan. The tipover automatic shut off is really sensitive, which is good. If it even rocks a little, it shuts off, so I don't worry about it starting a fire. I'm getting more than I expected for the price, which is rare these days. I almost never post reviews, so that should tell you how happy I am with it. I'm scared I might have just jinxed it, though. Fingers crossed it keeps going.Laura P
This is my third Honeywell space Heater. They work great, heat the house very well. I started with a smaller space heater for my bedroom 5 /- years ago. It still works like a charm. I put it on a 1 hour timer when I get in bed and it heats my room perfectly. I then bought a large tower heater for my open space living/tv room area. Keeps the area toasty. I bought the third for the other end of the house down the hall. The timer & temp controls work perfectly. I use the timers and let the heaters cool down a few minutes between restarting them again. I’ve tried other brands & they weren’t even close to Honeywell’s space heaters.FM

The Honeywell Energy Smart Infrared Heater is a very efficient, quiet and fast way to add warmth to large spaces. The infrared has 6 quartz elements and is specifically designed for extra large rooms. A clean and cheap way to supplement your homes heat supply. It has a programmable heat and thermostat settings, and an automatic shut off built right in. This makes it perfect for business' or homes. This model comes with a remote control so you can access it from the comfort of your chair, very easy and convenient. The digital panel has manual controls and a large lit LED display for easy setting. I am able to use the two settings, Low uses 1000 watts, and the high uses 1500 watts of power. The casing is cool to the touch and has a handle on the top for moving or adjusting your unit. It is designed with safety features such as an automatic shut off in case of accidental tipping, the plug is a grounded three prong plug, and also built in protection that prevents the unit from over heating in order to keep you and your family safe. This infrared heater has casters [wheels] on the bottom for ease of re-positioning. It weighs about 20 lbs. and is fairly good size. It is about 12" wide, 15 1/2" deep and right at 16" in height. I choose this heater because I have a completely open floor plan in my home. Kitchen, dining, living room and family room. When I am up during the day I turn my heat pump way down and these rooms get very cool so I set my Honeywell and it takes the chill off of all four rooms very well. The settings allow for heating with the space heater alone or to set lower to accompany my heat pump. It will adjust to about 60 degrees up to about 83-85 degrees. The large LED display also shows your energy usage at any given time. This model all has a permanent filter to help prevent dirt and dust from getting into the unit. I am not sure exactly how much it has saved me on my heating bill but so far I would estimate approximately 1/4 of my usual bill so far. The Honeywell Infrared is the best space heater that I have come across. I would highly recommend this model for any large and drafty areas.GoodCop
I loved how I was able to stay warm and snug under the covers while warming up the bedroom, by using the remote control. This way I didn’t have to wake up to a room that is so cold, it makes you want to stay in bed all day long! Using the (included) remote, I turned the Honeywell Energy Smart Infrared Heater on, used the up or down arrows to select the EnergySmart thermostat and set it to a temperature that was comfortable enough for me to stick my toes out from underneath my warm blanket. It will show me the Current room temperature on the left side of the lighted display, and the Desired room temperature on the right side. As the Current air temp approached the Desired temp, the heater will automatically adjust the power consumption to provide consistent warmth without wasting energy. I noticed that the display for the EnergySmart thermostat cycles through “high”, “low”, “fan” (no heat) and “at temp” (which means it has reached the desired air temperature and the heater shuts down at this point). When the Current air temperature dropped back down below what I set the Desired temp at, the heater turns back on, blowing the warm air around the room again. The timer allows you to set the heater to run for 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours in the selected mode, (Constant Low – L1) or (Constant High – L2) or EnergySmart. The timer counts down the hours and automatically shuts off with a polite “Beep” to let you know it’s shutting down. What’s good about using the EnergySmart thermostat instead of the constant low (L1) or constant high (L2) heat, is that you are saving up to 25% in energy bills! You can estimate the cost to operate the heater to determine if this is the one for you by multiplying the watts used times .001 to convert into a kilowatts measure and then multiple that by what your local electric company charges you for a kilowatt hour. Example: My local electric company charges $0.046040 per kilowatt hour in the wintertime. (I found this on my electric bill) So if I ran the heater in constant high mode (L2) (which uses 1500 watts), for 4 hours, it would cost me $0.27 (1500 watts x 4 hours x .001) x (0.046040) = 0.27624 Running the Honeywell EnergySmart Infrared Heater in Constant Low (L1) or EnergySmart settings is more energy efficient and might be a better choice if you are concerned about too high of a draw on a circuit because they only use about 1000 watts compared to Constant High (L2) which uses 1500 watts. Those two options will also save you money. Using the formula above ((total wattage x 4 Hours x .001) x Cost per Kilowatt hour = Cost To Operate), and the wintertime kilowatt hour charge from my electric bill, it would cost me $0.18 compared to the $0.27 cents that the Constant High would cost. NOTE: Both the heater unit AND the remote has all the same buttons, so you can do everything with the remote that you can do on the unit control panel. Also, the remote has a “holder” underneath the handle of the heater so you don’t have to worry about losing it. I really do like this Honeywell EnergySmart Infrared Heater and HIGHLY recommend it for someone who needs more heat in their home. As long as you have a clear, flat space to set the heater that’s at least 3 feet away from any wall, you are good to go!vhester
And loaded with options! A very impressive appliance for the price, this Honeywell infrared heater delivers instant comfort while utilizing power modestly. The unit is attractive, light enough to carry (and has a conveniently-located accessible handle), has wheels so it can easily be moved or re-directed and although it is moderate in size, offers a surprising amount of options and can quickly heat even a large area, such as my kitchen which has a cathedral ceiling. Honeywell touts this as being an energy-saving device and estimates the cost to run the heater on a high constant setting (1500 watts) for four hours will cost approximately 71 cents; however, there are many variables to consider when figuring this amount, such as room size, initial temperature of the room and how well the room is insulated. There is an Energy Smart setting which allows the consumer to preset a desired temperature digitally and the heater automatically adjusts to attain and maintain that setting rather than selecting low, medium or high which is also an option. It is also possible to select “My Temp” setting which will allow the heater to store two separate preset favorites as well as a timer option which can be set so that the heater will run for two, four, six or eight hours and shut off automatically. One of my favorite things about this particular model is the fact that it has a remote control which is quite intelligent and has most of the options that are also available on the digital screen of the heater itself. There is also a fan/blower setting which may be adjusted for comfort. There are myriad safety features which include automatic shutdown should overheating occur and a four-way tipover switch that shuts down the unit should it fall on its front, back or either side. The actual “elements” are quartz crystal bulbs which will allow for extended life of the heating capacitors, another energy-saving and appliance life-lengthening strategy. Another health-conscious feature of the heater is a removable, cleanable filter which is easily and conveniently accessible. Thus far, I have found this to be an excellent product and I look forward to many warm, cozy nights thanks to Honeywell’s cutting edge technology and engineering!ezriderman
