I’ve been using this for about six months now, I noticed baby hairs growing and less shedding after the third month. I’m not sure why this is listed under old, I believe it’s a recently released product. The battery lasts long, it’s easy to use, I do also use this along with my scalp stimulating shampoo and hair serum occasionally. The results could be a combination of all the products. I see my hairdresser every 6-7 weeks. This week I had my third visit since purchasing this product. Last time she said she THOUGHT something was happening. This time she was the one who brought up the subject. "It's definitely working," she told me. The right side of my scalp is thickening nicely. The left is still sparse, and she suggested I spend a little more time on the left than the right. She has two customers who are interested in my progress, and says she'll tell them that in her professional hairdressing opinion, this is worth trying. I have baby fine thin hair and have some hereditary hair loss going on. At 60, I have been losing a little bit here and there but not much. I highly recommend that the company advertise interest and monthly cost correctly/clearer. iRestore's product is of very high quality combining higher numbers of LED and lasers than the competitors at only a modestly increased price. I decided that as I was already investing in hair replacement (surgery and PRP treatment) I would also give this product a try. While this product likely doesn't compare to the massive LED unit I'd been using at my local medical facility, I also could not commit to going for treatment twice per week. The iRestore product is so much more convenient. And that's is something I can commit to using. The helmet is comfortable and while my scalp does sweat a bit during use, it is not uncomfortable. I've had laser hair removal completed in a dermatologist office multiple times (4-6x each at different offices over many years), I've also owned several at home devices. Nothing has ever worked long-term. I've owned my tria for almost a year and a half. It has changed my life. On my neck, chin and upper lip I have seen a 98% decrease in hair growth. Consistency is key. It is difficult in the beginning but it gets much easier and less painful as the laser decreases the amount of hair growth over time. I started using a topical lidocaine but after around 4 treatments I no longer needed it. Now I use weekly for maintenance and it takes maybe 2 minutes in the morning to just zap and move on with my day. I use it every week. I am now working on my arms and legs. The only downside is how time consuming it is to treat larger areas, I wish there was a larger tria. I would highly recommend this device. Ok so I’m a blonde so this didn’t do much for my hair but to be fair I gave up pretty early on. BUT you guys—it ANNIHILATED my spider veins. I’m so pasty white I’m literally translucent and I had 3 kids in 3 years and I had all sorts of little spider veins all over my thighs. I did a lot of googles about different lasers and this one is very similar to the ones they use in doctors offices to get rid of blue and purple spider veins. It absolutely does! I wish I took more before and after! Here’s a couple of tips—you’ll know when you hit a spider vein bc it’ll hurt. But sometimes you’ll be right over a vein and not feel anything. My tip—go slightly off center and kind of play around w tilting the laser at different angels. You’ll feel it, you’ll nail that vein and in a few weeks it’ll just slowly fade away. It doesn’t work immediately for the veins, but it absolutely works. Also, try doing it right after you get out of a warm bath, your veins will be more noticeable.Laura

But it turns off automatically, and I can tell when it does because my head starts to feel really warm and tingly. I have noticed significant regrowth in certain areas, but I'm not 100% convinced it's all this device, but a combo of this with minoxidil, which it even says in the instructions it works best with. I've had a Cappilus Pro 272 for about 6 years and gotten *maybe* 2-3 months out of use for it due to chronic battery failures. They charge enormously for replacement batteries and in fact just rendered the entire investment in their product moot since they no longer even sell the V4.8 batter or have any kind of upgrade program. They offered zero advice on what to do about this other then "throw it away because its useless".
When the product works, it seems to be effective, so I'm giving it 1 star for that and since it is not possible to provide 0 stars..

I think you came a long way with this version of Capillus cap. It's easier to use and the ergonomics is easier to understand and use. The only problem I have with the cap is the clip that comes with it is the clip's glue isn't strong enough and sticky enough to attach to the transformer cable. Work on that. After conducting thorough research I decided to invest into this product. I was attracted to overall design, quality of the equipment, as well as company' reputation. The cap looks great, although it's quite big for an average female head, so definitely pay attention to the measurements. I bought this cap on Black Friday 2019. I had a hair transplant from Bosley in early December with 1500 grafts added to the frontal region and started using the cap in early January after the grafts healed. Following graft surgery, Bosley recommends using different therapies to make the surgery a success. They recommend PRP, laser therapy, and minoxidil (Rogaine). I decided to do all three. The Bosley Revitalizer 272 cap runs around $2599 and is never on sale. The Hairmax cap retails at $1999, so it is already a less expensive product. I purchased this when it was the TSV. Worked fine for a few months, then it would not power on. Returned the unit for an exchange. The second operated fine for about 2 months, then it also stopped working in the middle of my treatment this morning. Unfortunately, now returning that one for a refund. I’ve been using this for about six months now, I noticed baby hairs growing and less shedding after the third month. I’m not sure why this is listed under old, I believe it’s a recently released product. The battery lasts long, it’s easy to use, I do also use this along with my scalp stimulating shampoo and hair serum occasionally. The results could be a combination of all the products. I read a lot of reviews and watched videos before investing in this and found a decent deal, but I think for the price, it should include other “teeth sizes” for the band so you can share it with family with different head/scalp sizes. This is a great product and did exactly what it promised. First of all, I had noticed my part getting more “obvious”, not actual bald patches. So I think I started before it was too late. Second, I used it exactly 3 days a week and used a timer to make sure I did the full 11 min, as directed. I had my hair stylist check every mo. for signs of new growth and after 4 mos she definitely saw new hairs coming in. After 6 mos I noticed thicker hair overall. I can only go by my own experience, but I would say if you are willing to make a six month commitment and follow the directions, it works. I returned this item after reading the enclosed info. I had obviously missed a lot of info from the online presentation. First my hair loss did not fall into the highlighted area on the diagram that was enclosed, so I guess the success stories didn't apply to me. And although I would have tried it anyway, I did not realize that once the hair follicles were stimulated to regrow, you had to continue to use this product for the rest of your life in order to keep the new hair. Didn't quite make sense, but knew I was not upset enough about my thinning hair to do that. I know only 11 minutes three times a week, but considering I only spend about 6 minutes a week cleansing my hair with WEN; and maybe hit it with a blow dryer for 5 minutes once in a blue moon. 33 mins a week messing with my hair?
