I used this product with my wife. We have been using the SmoothSkin Pure Mini once a week for about 4 weeks now as the directions instructed. The manual says that you can do a full body treatment in as little as 10 minutes, but it took 10 to 15 minutes to do both full legs. The product has 2 settings, regular and sensitive, the difference is the brightness/strength of the light flash. There is an internal fan because the bright light does produce heat, it sounds like a quiet hair dryer. It is very easy to use, just put the window side flush against your skin and push the button (either regular or sensitive) and it will emit a bright flash against your skin. There is a sensor that detects if the window is completely flush against the skin and if it isn’t it will not flash. For areas where it is not flat skin (ex: knees) there is a magnetic attachment that fits over the window that makes the window area smaller allowing for the product to be flush against the skin and flash. There was no discomfort, redness or irritation when using the product. After about 10 minutes of use the flashes do get warmer and warmer which can cause discomfort, I just waited a minute or two for it to cool off a little and continued the treatment. We used the sensitive setting on the inside of the thighs and on the back of the knee area since these are more sensitive areas and the flashes on the regular setting were a little hot. My wife has light skin and light hair on her legs and the instructions say it works best on darker hair, so she was a little skeptical on whether this would work for her. It wasn’t until after her second treatment (week 2) that she noticed a change in the growth of hair on the treated area compared to the non-treated tattooed area. The hair was not growing back as quickly in the treated areas because it was shorter than the tattooed area hair. I noticed that some of the thicker hairs were not coming as thick and a little squirrely (not straight) which made me think the treatment was affecting the hair follicles. We will continue using this product and doing the weekly treatments for the full 12 weeks and I will update this review when the treatment is done.PaulieB1
Home IPL devices for hair removal can really be hit or miss. Sometimes they work great, but suffer from slow speed or the bulbs don't last very long. Other models just don't work very well at all. With the Smoothskin Mini those problems don't see to be an issue at all and the results are great. The device itself is incredibly compact, making it very easy to manuveur and get it angled exactly how you need it to get both large and small areas of skin. It's comfortable to hold and overall the design supports an easy use. The Mini has several really amazing features that help make the entire process effortless. The first being the skin contact sensor that measures your skin tone before each light pulse, which makes sure you are using the strongest but safest light pulse for each pulse. It also sports several intensity and comfort settings to make sure that you have all the control and aren't in pain while using the device. All of this with a very quick firing light makes using the Mini effortless and incredibly quick compared to previous IPL devices I've used. The results are really great. After about 6 weeks I've seen really noticable results and because it's so easy to use is one reason I think the results will last. I don't dread using it and don't have to commit an hour to a treatment so continual use will be no problem. Comes with 2 comfort modes and three intensity levels for sensitive areas and more stubborn thicker hair and an attachment for precision it comes in handy for smaller spots. It has an automatic detection for skin tone so it measure what light level is needed. I am covered in tattoos so I did try it first on a small part of a leg tattoo that could easy be fixed if it damaged the color of it but had no issues using it on them. I love the compact size but I do wish it was wireless so I could use it anywhere in a more convenient comfortable spot in my house rather then plugged in the cord is long enough but that’s just me prefer cordless. I started with my armpits and bikini area once a week as directed those spots have the thicker hair on my body I noticed the difference of less hair growth in about 3 weeks but feel like if you had more thick corse hair it will take longer, I’ve shaved my armpits less often the hair also that grows back is thinner I hope eventually I won’t have to shave at all yay! I did my legs which the hair is very thin it takes about maybe 15-20 mins to do both legs entirely I’ve seen the difference with hair growth much more in a few weeks some spots hair has not grown back at all I do rub vitamin E oil on my legs and other areas on my body about 30 mins after to soothe my skin although it’s nothing like waxing no skin irritation at all. My boyfriend and I got bored today and we decided that he could wax my legs and I could wax his back since we both hadn’t shaved in awhile. I literally haven’t laughed this hard… ever. If I could post the video on here, I would. Honestly a great idea for bored couples needing something new to spend time together. I watched some YouTube reviews after I bought it and they all said it sucked and it didn’t work and LET ME TELL YA those people are big fat liars. You stick that puppy on there and leave it for about thirty seconds and then yank it off and ALL that hair is gone. We only had two problems the whole time. 1) He pulled too much at an angle one time and it ripped so he had to do it again (ouch). And 2) Idk if you can pull it too fast but one time the strip came off and the wax didn’t. The wipes are amazing though. They’re super slick and oily and with the tiniest bit of pressure that stuff comes right off. Highly recommend a cold wet washcloth to place on the area after you rip it. Anyways I’d give these bad boys an 8/10 for functionality and 10/10 for entertainment.Madeline
Very disappointing. The packaging and color is super cute but the results were not. I usually get Clean Easy wax strips but since I couldn't find any, I bought these. I cleaned my armpit with toner and added talcum to ensure drieness and I popped it on. It only caught one hair and was the wax is too soft and wet for my taste. Then the wipes are drenched in a oil, which was nice I guess but it leaves your fingers and hand all oily. Had to wash my hands twice because after the first strip, I wouldn't be able to pull the next one since it was slippery. Also I couldn't rip "too fast" otherwise paper you're holding rips off. These wax strips are the worst. They smell like grape cough syrup, and have a jelly like texture to them instead of a hard wax. They dont do a good job of ripping the hair out, maybe 1/3 of the hairs under the strip come out, most of them just get broken off at the skin or aren't affected at all. Yes I was using them correctly. This is not my first time waxing at home, I read all the instructions, and even after using them correctly they didnt work anywhere near as well as any other wax strip. They're all garbage. So now the hair will grow back unevenly where some were broken off while others were successfully pulled out. Don't buy this product.Krista

I have shaved, waxed and epililiated for many years. However I had never used Nads. On a whim I tried on my legs, bikini line and armpits. I have thick, dense, dark hair with fast regrowth. The biggest shock to me was how comfortable this is to use! The gel is not like wax that rips hair and skin, instead it only rips out the hair and is gentle on skin! The cotton strips are washable and reusable, so I can collect more with each purchase to aid in doing larger surface areas (I find once I use a strip to remove hair it doesn't work on the next area, so I have to use a new strip for every section of hair). GiGi is great brand. I've always used (+10 years) their jar of wax, strip-free, and although a bit messy, I've learned to use it, almost hassle-free. I didn't care for this style of waxing…personal choice; however, I'd recommend others to at least try it. See if it works for them… It's a good price and was worth the experiment for me, anyway. But I'll stick with GiGi strip-free microwave wax!!zahc1900
So I am used to waxing my own eyebrows, however, because of a recent deployment, I was not able to bring my Gigi waxer along. I found these on amazon and decided to give them a try. They are for sensitive skin and worked great! I give them 4 stars only because I had to also tweeze my eyebrows a little bit more than usual and because you have to rub them to warm them up. I also had to cut them to get the right shape I was going for. But worked great and all the ladies (and some guys) wanted me to do theirs!yorleny.a
These are easy to use and work well for stubborn chin hair. The instructions are straighforward and I like that the kit also comes with lotion for you to wipe off any extra wax. It did take 5 passes to remove all the visible chin hair from one side of my face, and just one pass for the other side. So I can see that results may vary. I’ve only used this once. I’ve seen no skin irritation from the was or the lotion, which is great because I do have sensitive skin.Lizzy

I've been to professional sugaring salons and I usually love it. I've been using a sally Hansen wax at home during the pandemic but I bought this when my local ulta was out. This was dreadful. I first tried a week ago but it didn't grab any of the hair. I waited a week for my hair to be a bit longer. That helped but it was still tortuous. Bikini area missed lots of hairs. Underarms only pulled out like 5 each. The hair of my lower legs-seems like it just broke off at the skin rather than pulling from the root. I'll order the regular sally Hansen online next time.AO
if i could give this product zero stars i would. For the past year i've been making my own sugar wax at home. i got tired of it and wanted to try out something else. Did countless research and found this product. To start off with, after putting the wax down and put the strip on, once i pulled nothing came off. the wax was stuck to my skin and wouldn't come off. They give zero instructions to begin with on what to do if wax does get stuck. Tried my legs, armpits and brazilian with this product and NO LUCK. barely any hairs came off and i was stuck in the shower for over an hour trying to get all the wax off my skin. I received this about 6 days ago, my first impression of the flawless hair removal device was excellent although I found the way to insert the battery could been better as it is sometimes hard to slide out/in. I like how the cap is easy to remove emptying the hairs, it’s really convenient to just stick it in my purse when on the go! In terms of hair removal , I found it to be great at getting those short tiny hairs around the upper lips. I love how it’s able to remove the peachy fuzz off my face instead of using a dermaplaning this device replaced that! It’s gently removed hairs on my cheeks and around my chin/neck. It nicely cleans up your face and is great for touch ups. This device is excellent for my sensitive dry skin as I got not a single bump or redness. I have been using this product off on for a couple of years. It works well when it works. However, it tends to get clugged up really easily. Even when you clean it out thoroghly it still isn't as clean as you think it is. Because there is a part in the top where you screw it on, and you cannot see all the hair that builds up in there. So, you even need to take that piece apart. But, be careful this is a little tricky because there are a lot of mall parts that can get lost. I suggest you use tweezers to this process on a table if you do not want lose any of those pieces. Overall, I would not recommend this product for an adolescent or someone who is unable to keep up with the cleaning process of this prosuct. I mention an adolescent not using the flawless facial shaver because he is the one responsible for clogging it up when shaving his little mustache. lolMelissa

I purchased the Rechargeable Eyebrow Trimmer a few months ago. It was a great purchase and a life saver. My eyebrows always look perfect now.. No more last minute trips to the salon. I have used some form of Sally Hansen hair removal cream for probably 15-20 years. Sometimes packaging would change, but the product always worked great, until this one. I apply and leave on for the specified amount of time, and all it does is remove some of the length of the hairs. It does not remove all the way to the skin. Struggled with PCOS for 25 years and only bleached unwanted hair on my face. Finally said done with the bleach and moved to full removal. Used Sally's bleach so logically I went with a product brand I've used. First application I followed instructions but let sit for 8 mins, came off great. I find it really easy to use as it’s waterproof so suitable to use in and out of the shower. The battery lasts a long time between charging which really helps too. I tried this Braun shaver for a few days. The shaver has a nice sleek design and the added travel pouch is a bonus. Very easy hand grip. Battery power is good and lasts a long while. It can be a little noisy, but not too bad. It's very good for close shaving, but sadly fails when used for edges of beards/moustaches. I bought this a week ago. It fits well in the hand, though a little heavy. I was able to use straight away, even though it suggested it needed a charge first. After first use there were some hairs that hadn’t trimmed to the same length, especially around the moustache. However there was no irritation and the whole shave was quick. The plum beauty personal hair trimmer is great. I like that it has 2 different size trimmers, and that it also has a guard that my husband can put on to help trim his beard/mustache. It’s ok, it works, I’ve had no issues getting the battery in or out even though that compartment seems to be a bit more towards an oval shape. I’ve used it several times without major issue. It does always sounds like it’s about to quit working, switched the battery and it still sounds that way so it is what it is. It gets the 12 little hairs off my chin every 2 weeks so I’m happy about that. Beyond that I’m not a fan and wouldn’t buy again. After searching for a multi tool for hair removal i finally broke down and bought 3 separate tools. This one i bought for facial hair, specifically nose hair. I dont know why there are so few nose hair trimmers marketed toward women. I dont need to trim my haircut too, but most of the multi tool trimmers that include a nose hair trimmer are marketed to men who also want a haircut trimmer. This one works great so far. I pulled too hard on it trying to get the comb part off and it came apart in multiple pieces. The good news is that they all snapped together easily and nothing broke. GiGi is great brand. I've always used (+10 years) their jar of wax, strip-free, and although a bit messy, I've learned to use it, almost hassle-free. I didn't care for this style of waxing…personal choice; however, I'd recommend others to at least try it. See if it works for them… It's a good price and was worth the experiment for me, anyway. So I am used to waxing my own eyebrows, however, because of a recent deployment, I was not able to bring my Gigi waxer along. I found these on amazon and decided to give them a try. They are for sensitive skin and worked great! I give them 4 stars only because I had to also tweeze my eyebrows a little bit more than usual and because you have to rub them to warm them up. These are easy to use and work well for stubborn chin hair. The instructions are straighforward and I like that the kit also comes with lotion for you to wipe off any extra wax. It did take 5 passes to remove all the visible chin hair from one side of my face, and just one pass for the other side. So I can see that results may vary. I’ve only used this once. It has been years since I used a Hair product. I hated the smell and had concerns about chemicals I was applying to my skin. I decided to try again as I have sensitive skin. I went with this particular product so I wouldn't have to use my hands and hoping Aloe in this product would help with any sensitivity that may occur. I tested an area just like the directions said to do and found I needed to apply a little more than 3 minutes but my skin was not irritated. I put the came on while I let it sit a little longer and when I pulled of the cap some of the hair splattered onto my floor. Just to be safe I currently have the cap off so this won't happen again when I use it. I followed the directions again for applying and taking off hair and it worked perfectly. There were some areas that were missed somehow and applied to that area. Glad the smell wasn't too strong. The biggest thing I noticed after use is that my hair very noticeably started to grow back two days after. Just use to seeing it appear a couple of days after I shave. Back in the 1970s I was a teenager and Nair was THE ONLY THING that we used for hairy teenage legs. The stuff stank! My friend once shmeared some of it on her legs and then touched her closed eye by mistake and didn't have eyelashes or her right eyebrow for a whole month. So, I guess the stuff works. Flash forward to 2022 and I see this stuff on sale here at iHerb and I thought to myself, "Hey, it's been 50 years, they must have done something to make it smell better." They haven't. The Parissa Brazilian Hot Wax kit contains a cup of hard Wax, wooden spatula and an ultra soothe oil. Getting the wax ready for use was quite easy and quick (microwaving for 3mins to melt it). Before applying to my underarm, i tested it on my hand. When it was ready, I applied it under my arm and within few mins the wax had harden. I initially thought it was going to be painful taking off the wax but it wasn't, it came off really easy without any difficulty taking the little strands of hair with it. The Ultra soothe oil was applied afterward to remove any leftover wax as well as soothe my underarm. Overall, the process the easy and I loved the results so far.

I've only used this wax once, but so far, it's the worst wax I've ever used. Did not apply well at all, didn't stick to really any hair, and was SUPER brittle when removing. It just broke into pieces rather than peeling off smoothly in a strip. I usually use Cirepil Blue hard wax, but I got this with the gigi mini warmer to save some space for home use, but I am thoroughly disappointed in this wax. I have the at home wax heater. This saves me a lot of money to wax myself at home instead of a salon. It is us easy to use. It takes a bit of a learning curve and proper technique to get the hang of it. However once you learn how to wax properly, it is was better to do this yourself. I have other DermaFlash devices that I love but unfortunately this one unfortunately falls way below average! It is made so cheaply that I was extremely disappointed when I opened it, inserted, the battery, and used it! I could not in good conscience recommend this product! Not only should the plastic have been much more formidable, but the vibration should have been a bit stronger! The roller ball is useless as it is…had it had some vibration it would help bring down any swelling as this product claims to for puffy eyes! This is great for reaching anywhere you are nervous about using the larger Dermaflash wand and want precision, like near your eyebrows. I will say that the razor on the end is a little more loosely fitted than on the larger wand. I thought about returning for another due to this because it might present a safety issue, but the razor seems to stay put. It can be popped out with some light finger pressure though without pushing the eject button. So I deduct a star for this.JJ
I was excited to try out the Dermaflash Mini for the peach fuzz removal and the de-puffing rollerball. The rollerball is really nice and I noticed my under eye bags lessen after using it a minute. I’m not sure how long the de-puffing lasts, but it really feels nice and relaxing to use the rollerball all over my face. As far as the de-fuzzing goes, the razor removes peach fuzz but not as much peach fuzz as disposable razors do. It was a little disappointing to read the razors are only supposed to be used once so that adds an extra cost if you were to use this product more than 3 times (it comes with 3 blades). I had to use a disposable razor to finish the peach fuzz removal. I really like how small the product is and I will probably bring it with me when traveling for any peach fuzz touchups, though. This is one of the biggest failures I purchased. After checking so many reviews, I decided to buy this epilator, not from Amazon, but from a different website. BUT I had to come here and share my thoughts. I’ve been epilating my body for 15 years, so I guess I’m “educated” enough to share my experience.
1. The 3 speeds are USELESS. It doesn’t pull out from the root, it SHAVES!! That defeats the purpose of an epilator.
2. The large head does nothing. I go over the same area again and again and my hair is still there!
3. Doesn’t catch the small hair – just the longer one (again, useless!)
4. The adjustable head hurts your skin – it “catches” your skin from time to time while using it. It HURTS and leaves MARKS on your skin.
5. The battery life is too short. If you’re really “hairy”, one charge won’t do it.
6. I’ve never had ingrown hair from my previous epilators, well I have them now from this one.
Do NOT BUY THIS useless device. I guarantee it’s a man that designed this device, cause no woman would approve such junk.Christine S

I would give it a 8! The pros are…. You never have to worry about cutting yourself. Your hair also does not grow back as fast as if you would shave or wax. I like it because I can bring it in my purse with me if I'm going somewhere and we realized that I might need it row quick and I can go right into the ladies Room and fix a spot that I missed That's one of the main things I liked about it. I feel like I am always in a hurry so I forget to do things or I forget to shave 1 leg and not the other lol. The only cons that I have, are You always have to make sure that the batteries in it are a good brand. It doesn't work as well if you use cheaper batteries. Which that's OK with me however I don't think it should matter what batteries are in it I think it should just work the same. And the other con that I have, is that I had a hard time cleaning it. At least for the 1st time… there several different things you have to take apart and clean and put back together so it's kind of like a puzzle lol but once you do it once or twice then you'll know how to do it. I ended up buying all 3! the 1 for my legs the one for a facial hair and the 1 for my eyebrows. And I will say, that the 1 for the eyebrows is absolutely my favorite. I would give that a 9.25 and the facial hair flawless remover, I would give about a 9. It's definitely worth the money! However, there are a lot of coupons out there were you can get that for 30 or 40% off with their selling it for and that's how I bought my 1st 1. I bought this knowing the reviews were terrible but I still thought I'd give it a shot. Keep in mind I'm middle eastern so your girl is h a i r y. This was one of the quickest wax's I've ever done & I've tried every wax hair removal under the sun. I did my lower legs in less than 10 minutes I kid you not. I knew I had to run to the reviews to tell you all. If you follow the directions to a T, you'll be set. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 is due to the fact that there isn't not enough wax. I did both my lower legs & I used more than half. If you were run out of wax mid way, you'd need to heat up another wax for another 45 minutes. So as long as you got time, you're good to go. It also can be very sticky but that's how all the All Purpose Honee consistency is but nothing a little oil can't help!Zay
it's not so bad of a product. If you are a smaller person with fine to lightly coarse hair then this is a perfect product for you. I on the other hand have coarse hair and a lot of body area to cover so this wasn't nearly enough to get the job done. One cartridge covered one and a quarter legs. I had to shave the rest of the way. I did like this and I will do it again however I will need a lot of wax on hand because this does take a lot since there's not a lot of product.arbi
