I bought this because time is short with a 1 year old in the house so trimming is not currently an option. Here’s the lowdown. It’s £9, stinks of rotting flesh. Tried shoulders, hips and feet. Of which the latter two – nothing happened. Shoulders were patchy – not even 1/3 came off. Apparently results only last 5-7. Which begs the question- why bother even if it did work? It’s not often I’m disappointed in something. How do I get a refund? The only think this gets rid of is the £10 I binned in good faith.James1982
Okay, this is probably going to be a little bit of an embarrassing review. I feel that sometimes it's super important to do one of those every now and again. So I went online to look at YouTubers who have tried different hair removal creams. I have very coarse hair on my legs, armpits, and the nether regions. I came across this guy who uses this in his sensitive areas. He said that he also had coarse hair and that normally he gets bad ingrown hairs when he shaves down there. I thought, if it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me. So I ordered mine online through Amazon and waited for it to come. When it finally came I ripped open the package, read the directions, and prepped myself for pure pain! I've tried nair down below and I thought my who-he was going to completely burn off! First thing I noticed that I liked is that it was a thicker formula so where I put it is where it stayed. Second thing, is the smell isn't their initially but as it starts burning the hair off, it's not the greatest smell. Most creams don't smell good and I'm okay with that. I first tried it for the minimum 3 minutes… That did nothing! Since I'm not a first time hair cream removal person, I knew to try it for a little bit longer and give it another shot. I waited 24 hours so I didn't have any reactions on my skin and the next day I put it on for about 4 minutes 30 seconds. I checked a small portion before fully removing it and I left it on for another 30 seconds. Apparently this is allowed to stay on for 6 minutes total. When I left it on for 5 minutes, It did amazing! I've been using it on all areas that have hair and it's done a great job for me! I always have ingrown hairs and so far, nothing! I'm going to continue to use this for the next couple months and see if I still feel the same way. I'm pretty happy about this, I also decided to try it on the rear end. It did a great job in that area too! Normally I end up having a rash because of the friction of my butt cheeks lol. It's a bit messy. BUT I have thick leg hair. Like thick. When I do soft or hard wax. I have to go over 2-3x times for all my hair to remove. But with this was it was just one swipe. I have shaved, waxed and epililiated for many years. However I had never used Nads. On a whim I tried on my legs, bikini line and armpits. I have thick, dense, dark hair with fast regrowth. The biggest shock to me was how comfortable this is to use! The gel is not like wax that rips hair and skin, instead it only rips out the hair and is gentle on skin! The cotton strips are washable and reusable, so I can collect more with each purchase to aid in doing larger surface areas (I find once I use a strip to remove hair it doesn't work on the next area, so I have to use a new strip for every section of hair). Also love than any stickiness or mess is easily removed with water. Also a tip: place in a shallow bowl of warm water to help wax spread if the temp is cold in your house and gel is too solid!Jess

GiGi is great brand. I've always used (+10 years) their jar of wax, strip-free, and although a bit messy, I've learned to use it, almost hassle-free. I didn't care for this style of waxing…personal choice; however, I'd recommend others to at least try it. See if it works for them… It's a good price and was worth the experiment for me, anyway. I have always had to shave every day–sometimes twice! It seemed like the moment I stepped out of the shower, I already had stubble. On top of that, I have keratosis pilaris, so shaving was very irritating to my bumpy skin. I had wanted to try laser hair removal for a long time, but it's so expensive to treat all the areas–it would be at least $2,000 to treat everything. I figured if this device could even just help reduce the amount of shaving, it would be well worth the price. Since the hair on my legs grew back so quickly, I decided to take the extra time to carefully do individual pulses, especially on my calves. I want to remind people reading this review that this is hair removal is not only for ladies but also men who have unwanted hair on their backs, their chests, etc. So, this is at least a 6 week process and commitment which also requires maintenance every so many weeks as hair tries to grow back. The user must first remove hair from the areas that are to be treated by either shaving, waxing, or tweezing. That gets the area as smooth as possible and then by doing a weekly treatment with the IPL, you gradually kill the hair follicle and thus, stop hair growth. However, those pesky follicles can come back so that is why a maintenance program is recommended. Clearly, it will not be a s much or as aggressive hair growth as in the beginning of the process, but there will be some regrowth and you tackle that as is necessary. I really love this shaver. After watching many positive review videos and my old shaver died, I bought this and am really impressed. You can shave with or without shaving gel/cream. The shaver gets close but not as close as other shavers, however it is more than close enough for a professional work environment. The biggest plus is that it is extremely safe, and I have been using for over a month and not one skin irritation or nick. Works great on scalp for shaving head also. This is the second OneBlade I have owned. As a stand alone, this is a good trimmer, especially for shorter length trimming. I like most of the new design, especially that the handle is slimmer with a better grip. However when compared to the last model, it falls short in allowable max trimming length and ease of adjustment. The reason is due to the rotating blade head. This new feature is not bad to have, though with the narrow blade, I've never felt the need for it. The rotation doesnt allow for a cap like the previous model, which had a simple dial to adjust length, all the way up to 9. This blade has an attachment which you need to rotate with your thumb. It's not the smoothest or easiest operation. It goes up to 5mm, which isn't bad for a face trimmer, but less than the previous. Overall, this is a solid trimmer which will get the job done well. I dont feel the blade rotation is better than an easier and longer guard adjustment.Jeremy O
This shaver is very impressive. I charged it for a couple hours and decided to give it a go on my 4 day stubble. It's worked like a dream, gives a very close shave almost as close at a razor, I was so impressed. I judge my razors based on how well i can get nice clean lines on my goatee and sideburns and this passed both tests! My goatee looks great and my sideburn lines are crisp and clean. Not sure what the bad reviews are all about, but I love this product. I have coarse hair and over the years have over-shaved (shaved past where I needed to) and shaved incorrectly, and in the opposite direction. I thought I was doomed to get waxes forever or save up for laser hair removal, but alas! Anyways, I have tried nair several times and immediately after applying felt tingling and burning. Never left it on long enough to see results. It also did not come with a sponge, so it was messy and the smell made my body wreak of rubber until my next shower. Yuck. Nair burned so much I wouldn't dare put it near my bikini area. Veet on the other hand exceeded my expectations. It comes with a sponge making the experience so much easier and tidy. No product is perfect but I'd say 95% of my unwanted body hair is gone (bikini, under arms, legs, stomach). I left it on for 12-13 minutes, and didn't get any type of chemical burn or irritation. I've always been a shaver but I had gotten tired of the razor bumps, prickly little hairs that hurt when they start to grow back, and the dark spots that are left from the razor bumps. I used this product with my wife. We have been using the SmoothSkin Pure Mini once a week for about 4 weeks now as the directions instructed. The manual says that you can do a full body treatment in as little as 10 minutes, but it took 10 to 15 minutes to do both full legs. The product has 2 settings, regular and sensitive, the difference is the brightness/strength of the light flash. There is an internal fan because the bright light does produce heat, it sounds like a quiet hair dryer. It is very easy to use, just put the window side flush against your skin and push the button (either regular or sensitive) and it will emit a bright flash against your skin. There is a sensor that detects if the window is completely flush against the skin and if it isn’t it will not flash. For areas where it is not flat skin (ex: knees) there is a magnetic attachment that fits over the window that makes the window area smaller allowing for the product to be flush against the skin and flash. There was no discomfort, redness or irritation when using the product. After about 10 minutes of use the flashes do get warmer and warmer which can cause discomfort, I just waited a minute or two for it to cool off a little and continued the treatment. We used the sensitive setting on the inside of the thighs and on the back of the knee area since these are more sensitive areas and the flashes on the regular setting were a little hot. My wife has light skin and light hair on her legs and the instructions say it works best on darker hair, so she was a little skeptical on whether this would work for her. It wasn’t until after her second treatment (week 2) that she noticed a change in the growth of hair on the treated area compared to the non-treated tattooed area. The hair was not growing back as quickly in the treated areas because it was shorter than the tattooed area hair. I noticed that some of the thicker hairs were not coming as thick and a little squirrely (not straight) which made me think the treatment was affecting the hair follicles. All of this with a very quick firing light makes using the Mini effortless and incredibly quick compared to previous IPL devices I've used. The results are really great. After about 6 weeks I've seen really noticable results and because it's so easy to use is one reason I think the results will last. I don't dread using it and don't have to commit an hour to a treatment so continual use will be no problem. Comes with 2 comfort modes and three intensity levels for sensitive areas and more stubborn thicker hair and an attachment for precision it comes in handy for smaller spots. It has an automatic detection for skin tone so it measure what light level is needed. I am covered in tattoos so I did try it first on a small part of a leg tattoo that could easy be fixed if it damaged the color of it but had no issues using it on them. I love the compact size but I do wish it was wireless so I could use it anywhere in a more convenient comfortable spot in my house rather then plugged in the cord is long enough but that’s just me prefer cordless. I started with my armpits and bikini area once a week as directed those spots have the thicker hair on my body I noticed the difference of less hair growth in about 3 weeks but feel like if you had more thick corse hair it will take longer, I’ve shaved my armpits less often the hair also that grows back is thinner I hope eventually I won’t have to shave at all yay! Truthfully, it works best for nose hairs. I had bought the 'flawless' model for the fine hairs around my lips & jawline & it is great – 5 stars. But it isn't shaped to get at nose hairs. This one is, so I got it, too. Both have become an easy part of my routine. (I dealt with the depilatory creams so long & dreaded using them. Very happy to toss those.) Now, every few days I take (literally) about 1 minute to go over any area that needs attention. Not only is the hair not growing back thicker, it's also not growing back as fast. I was pretty skeptical of this product, especially after the numerous negative reviews. My skin is incredibly sensitive, I regularly get rashes from supposedly sensitive skin products. I applied it as instructed (waiting one minute outside the shower then got in) and it all immediately washed off. I was disappointed. When I got out, I dried off my legs then applied it again. I left it on for about 8 minutes then rinsed it off with a washcloth. It worked wonders on my legs! My hair is thinner and pretty fine, so it may just not work well on thick hairs. I also used it in my armpits which worked but it did burn slightly. Once I rinsed it off, I immediately put on a nourishing deodorant and an aloe based lotion on my legs and they feel good. Okay, if you're like me, you remember Nair as having a very distinct smell that left your hands feeling kind of weird after lathering it on. This personally worked great for me. I used it on my legs. I put it on, waited about a minute then got in the shower. I washed my face and everything else, which took maybe about 3 minutes. The nair didn't just come off when the water ran down my legs, which was great. After that I rubbed it off in circular motions with a wash rag. Took all the hair and left my legs super smooth. I had tried veet before, and that left my legs a little red and itchy. This did not. This also doesn't have as bad a smell as the normal nair. It definitely still smells, just not as bad. I received this about 6 days ago, my first impression of the flawless hair removal device was excellent although I found the way to insert the battery could been better as it is sometimes hard to slide out/in. I like how the cap is easy to remove emptying the hairs, it’s really convenient to just stick it in my purse when on the go! In terms of hair removal , I found it to be great at getting those short tiny hairs around the upper lips. Exceeded Expectations! Been Bald shaving for close to 25 years. I've used several different methods from the head blade to regular blades to conventional electric rotary shavers. The Balder Pro changed everything. It worked so well on my head that I tried it on my face. Wow, did it worked! I've found that I can shave my head and face using a "slick" type shaving cream in the shower in less than 3-5 minutes, saving so much time than leaning over the sink and making a mess. It had been decades since I used hair remover product. I decided to try it again. It is advertised as 27% less chemical ingredients than the previous formula. Wow, this stuff is amazing. MUCH different than what I've tried years ago. This is a nice pump bottle and the cream comes out as cream. Not watery or seperated. Came out as cream. Even has a little cap to prevent an unwanted pump. The spong it came with makes so much sense. I sit over the side of my bath tub when using this. You totally don't have to, but I do. So first I apply cream to the yellow softer side of sponge and rub all over my legs. Then after 6 minutes I use the slightly rougher white side of sponge to wipe away. Leaves my legs hairless, smooth and moisturized. There is no chemical smell, no need to vent the bathroom, no headache. Nothing like I remeber. Has a nice light clean violet scent This stuff rocks! I feel confident enough to let my pre tween daughter to use it too.
Upon first look the description on the bottle is very deceiving. It specifically says “in shower hair removal cream”. Reading that you would think you could use 100% in the shower. Because the product is wrapped in plastic to keep the sponge attached you can’t read the instructions until after purchase and opening. The instruction state that you apply before your shower and wait 3 minutes and than shower without a direct stream on product. I do like that it does actually work and the sponge is nice to get the product off of you good. It really does work well and leaves my legs soft. I get horrible razor burn on the inside of my upper legs and bikini line when shaving, so was excited to try this as a shaving alternative. Upon opening the product, I noticed that the smell was not as terrible as other products I have used. You apply the product with a little sponge the size of your palm. You have to make sure the hair you want to remove is completely covered, so just my entire upper legs seemed to take a lot of product. Once you apply, you have to leave it on for 6 – 10 minutes, so make time for this before your shower. Once you get in the shower, you are able to wipe the hair off with the same sponge. I applied this on leg hair that had been shaved 2 days prior, and it seemed to do a really spotty job. I ended up having to shave to catch the hairs that weren’t removed, so I was not super impressed with the end result. Maybe it is made for longer hair? It has been years since I used a Hair product. I hated the smell and had concerns about chemicals I was applying to my skin. I decided to try again as I have sensitive skin. I went with this particular product so I wouldn't have to use my hands and hoping Aloe in this product would help with any sensitivity that may occur. I tested an area just like the directions said to do and found I needed to apply a little more than 3 minutes but my skin was not irritated. I put the came on while I let it sit a little longer and when I pulled of the cap some of the hair splattered onto my floor. Just to be safe I currently have the cap off so this won't happen again when I use it. I followed the directions again for applying and taking off hair and it worked perfectly. There were some areas that were missed somehow and applied to that area. Glad the smell wasn't too strong. The biggest thing I noticed after use is that my hair very noticeably started to grow back two days after. Just use to seeing it appear a couple of days after I shave. Back in the 1970s I was a teenager and Nair was THE ONLY THING that we used for hairy teenage legs. The stuff stank! My friend once shmeared some of it on her legs and then touched her closed eye by mistake and didn't have eyelashes or her right eyebrow for a whole month. So, I guess the stuff works. Flash forward to 2022 and I see this stuff on sale here at iHerb and I thought to myself, "Hey, it's been 50 years, they must have done something to make it smell better." They haven't. But it still works beautifully. And you know what, you have to have it on for 3 to 5 minutes, no longer than 10. I can live through that for the clear, hairless skin I want. I recently tried this Dermaflash Luxe+ and I can say that I have been very impressed by this product. It is a simple and straightforward product too that gently exfoliates the skin. I absolutely love this product and plan on never shaving my legs with a regular razor again!!! This does hurt a little bit to use but the discomfort gets better as you continue to use it. I used this on my lower legs and it went pretty fast. You can see that it pulls the hair out from the root. This epilator charges quickly and the battery stays charged for awhile. It works on short hair which is great but if it’s too short it doesn’t get it all and you need to go over the area again after it grows a little bit. This is my first epilator so I didn’t really know what to expect. It hurts, definitely yes! But if you power through it for a few seconds it stops hurting so much. The smooth skin after is quite nice. I was very excited! But that excitement quickly faded when my hair started to come back all ingrown! 80% of my hair follicles are red, itchy black dots. The first time using this on my legs took me about 2 hours because of the pain, yes on the lowest setting it lasted that long! I'm a T-Girl so my hair was thicker than the hair this is expected to be used on and it hurt a lot! I always hate going and getting a wax or anything to do with a salon and my eyebrows! I like to do them myself because I like them done a certain way. So when I found this product I was sooooo happy how well it works. It also has a light so u can see what your doing. It removes hair gently and so well. I pull my skin tight and go in small circles and it removes the hair perfect. Another thing is you have to do is make sure u keep it clean, and it will work until u need a new battery. I purchased this product from Walmart last week, and I'm glad that I did! I'd been eyeing this product for a while because I already own Flawless Finishing Touch's Facial Hair Remover as well as their Nu Razor for the entire body, and I am pleased with those products. I wasn't very impressed with the WAHL eyebrow hair trimmer that I'd been using because the shape wasn't helpful for carefully removing hair without risking cutting too much off. I would definitely buy the Flawless eyebrow remover again; it's beautifully angled to trim eyebrows without fearing taking off too much hair. This product is also easy to clean; just remove the head of the device and use the brush that comes with it to remove the hair. It definitely removed some hair, I don't know why it didn't get all of it, because my hair has never been thick. Also, IT STINKS. It smells even worse while removing it off the skin. The product needed more information on don't do's, like can you wash your skin (of the smell) or can you apply a second time? or how long before you can apply a second time?S
I did a patch test in my bikini area for 6 minutes and I didn't have a bad reaction but also it only took away half the hair. So a few days later I decided to apply all over and leave it for 10 minutes nothing more as they said don't exceed 10 min. But I STILL GOT A CHEMICAL BURN. it was so painful I never experienced such pain before. It was so hard to wash and only cold water help. I later applied neosporin and after that day I've been using coconut oil to not let my already burned skin rub against each other and cause me more pain. I'm never using it again. Also I've tried it on my armpits, only removed half the hair.Sam

As an esthetics student I wanted to be able to practice my applications at home. I absolutely love this kit. Although immediately upon feeling the strips it came with and the consistency of the wax, I went and bought the traditional wax strips. Upon reading other reviews I noticed a lot of user error. First use the pre cleanse, then powder to dry the cleansed area. Make sure the wax is warmed up to a maple syrup like consistency and run the stick on the outside of the wax not the middle of the pot. Apply a very THIN coat of wax in the direction of the hair growth. Apple the strip and warm up the wax in the direction of the hair growth. Place tension on skin with one hand and rip off strip in opposite direction of hair growth with the other FAST. Repeat process until cleansed area is clear. Then repeat with next section of hair. One strip can be used about 3-4 times then discard.Aesthic/s.
Ok I know the WAXING Kit says at home starter kit! Oh no no no! Unless U are a COSMETOLOGIST & U already know how 2 properly use this machine & also wax correctly! So this wax kit is absolutely fantastic! Its the same kit I have used in my salon that I owned for years. Here's the thing u will not know how to operate this correctly & jack your skin & hair up if u have not been properly trained like a stylist has. I see all the bad reviews & its clearly only bad because the folks haven't gone thru proper training 2 do it rite. As Cosmetologist we learn how 2 do it thru our 1500 hours n skool & n some states you can do a week or 2 long class 2 get ur waxing license. I am not saying go 2 cosmetology school & get license 2 learn how 2 operate this but I will highly advise u 2 find a friend or family member that is licensed 2 wax 2 show u how 2 properly wax. Also I am gonna advise u 2 find a few brave souls 2 let u practice on b4 u literally let it rip on yourself! I honestly can't believe Y they have this 4 sale & marketed as a at home kit because this is exactly the same as the professional kit. First of all I am an esthetician in training, I needed a wax warmer for my kit to get licensed and this was on sale with everything included so I went for it. Couple of things: the honee all purpose wax is just awful, it gets everywhere and is extremely difficult to clean up, you need a ton of micellar water, AND for my skin personally it gives me the WORST folliculitis. However, the hard wax is fine and I went to Sally's and got the blue hard wax with azulene, much better. The wax warmer itself even on the lowest setting gets too warm for hard wax so you don't get the perfect pearl you want/need unless you keep turning off and on the wax warmer. The hard wax once it hardens is easy to scrape off, but not the soft wax. It is hard to do large areas with hard wax so I'd suggest getting a sugar wax or just a different brand of soft wax all together. The warmer itself works a little too well, but it's better than microwaving. I'd say it's a good starter warmer, but it's very cheap so maybe not for an actual spa.Tina

I've been to professional sugaring salons and I usually love it. I've been using a sally Hansen wax at home during the pandemic but I bought this when my local ulta was out. This was dreadful. I first tried a week ago but it didn't grab any of the hair. I waited a week for my hair to be a bit longer. That helped but it was still tortuous. Bikini area missed lots of hairs. Underarms only pulled out like 5 each. The hair of my lower legs-seems like it just broke off at the skin rather than pulling from the root. I'll order the regular sally Hansen online next time.AO

Did countless research and found this product. To start off with, after putting the wax down and put the strip on, once i pulled nothing came off. the wax was stuck to my skin and wouldn't come off. They give zero instructions to begin with on what to do if wax does get stuck. Tried my legs, armpits and brazilian with this product and NO LUCK. barely any hairs came off and i was stuck in the shower for over an hour trying to get all the wax off my skin. I actually used this because I had to the first time I used it. I was at my guy's house (this was when we had first started dating way way way before we moved in together) and it was all he had. This shampoo is okay, it really isn’t the best. I have a sensitive scalp, along with thinning, dry hair due to bleaching it and as this has almond oil in I thought it might do well. The smell is nice and fresh, however the day after shampooing, my hair was greasy and looked like it hadn’t been washed at all! Which resulted in using a lot of dry shampoo and drying my scalp out even more. I wouldn’t ever buy this shampoo again, it personally just didn’t work for me.beth.r
I’ve been using head and shoulder products ever since I was a little kid. I have been battling with dandruff throughout my life. There’s shampoo and conditioner product really does what it says. It gets rid of dandruff and itchy scalp for a couple days when you use it but if you stop using it for about a week your scalp symptoms start coming back. But this is an affordable hair product and I recommend it if you’re struggling with dandruff or scalp problems.kevin.t
