The leaf blower works well overall. I primarily got it for blowing snow off the walks, deck and driveway. Unit runs surprisingly quiet compared to the electric one that I had before even when the unit Turbo button is on which maximizes the Power boost a lot. The unit comes with a 2.5 AH battery 40 volt what holds a decent amount of charge but I also have a 4 AH 40 volt from my Greenworks grass trimmer that fits the blower so lots of no worry about not able to complete the job. I really like the power lock Cruise control and variable speed option to as this easier to use. Recommend keeping the unit and battery chargers inside in winter months as concern about the housing to the unit breaking with the colder temperatures as it is just plastic. Highly recommendGeo W

I bought this cordless sweeper on June 12, 2016 I used the sweeper for three years when the unit quit working one day. I called the customer service and inquired what could be done. It turns out that the product was STILL covered under warranty. The kind CSR informed me that they would be happy to send me a new one to replace the nonworking one. Well, that is exactly what happened. within three days I received by express mail a brand new leaf blower that I was able to put to use immediately, because I have the two batteries that came with a Greenworks Twin Force 40V GMax 20 inch cordless mower. Purchased this about a month ago and have used it multiple times now. I was disappointed right away, as it could barely move grass over a sidewalk. 150mph?…highly doubt it…Feels more like 50. Its cheap plastic, feels flimsy in my hand, and the battery lasts about 6-10 min on high setting, (which is the only setting that has any decent power) nowhere near the "up to 28 minutes" that is claimed. This is with the 4.0Ah battery. Unless you are wanting to just blow some light dust, I suggest you buy something else.BillC
The battery lost a cell after one year of light use. The speed control failed after about 2 years. The motor failed at 4 years. Replacement motor is currently on factory hold. Although it is inexpensive, you can't get one. It's cheap, lightweight but the motor/speed control assembly is of poor quality. If not for the fact I have already invested in a couple of new batteries I would not have purchased another one of these blowers.kenh2012

Manual labor would be easier and more efficient than this. The process of blowing leaves is slow and requires several passes and a healthy individual could shovel leaves into the bin faster than this will pick them up. For over $200 there are many better products you could be getting. The only upside is that you don't need to run an extension cord. I know it's a sweeper, not a full blown leaf blower. But this works like a hair dryer. I have been in 100 mph winds and I just didn't see anything special with this sweeper's 120 mph claim. Including holding the forced air against my face. I am a truck driver and need to sweep out my trailer everyday. So I bought this one. However, it could barely move a nail from a broken pallet–on the highest setting, with the blower 2 inches away from the nail. It also had difficulty moving typical small pieces of wood and plastic, small torn off pieces of plastic wrap, the wood pieces about 1"- 4". It could not move a broken bag of dog food at all. I had to use my broom. It does well with dust, or extremely light material, that is not sticky. The sweeper is light. Very easy to hold and use. The battery took about an hour to charge and held its charge well. I used the highest setting for blowing because the lowest settings was absolutely ineffectual. I would not recommend this sweeper even for grass shavings on your sidewalk or driveway. Walmart's money back was very easy, and I put that toward a better unit.James
It is under powered for both vacuuming and blowing. If there is any moisture on the leaves or grass trimming, the unit will not blow them away or pick them up. The tube must be touching what ever you are trying to pick up or blow away. It's is faster to rack the leaves up and pick up by hand. Also if you hold the unit in your right hand the unit will suck your lose clothing into the blower grill, so you have to hold it away from clothing, making it uncomfortable to hold. It is also hard to clean out the area where the blower fan is after you take the grill off, leaves get caught in this area.Paul

If you are on the fence on purchasing this, please don't mistakenly skimp out on power when selecting a blower since an under powered tool can result in not getting the job done the way it was intend. Heavy duty for it's light weight (even with the 5.0Ah battery, or attach a shoulder strap if you don't think so). High quality, easy to take apart clamshell casing and is made of both dyed yellow & carbon black Polypropylene known for its impact & UV resistance. Non-slip nitrile/rubber covered handle design. Audible detent noise feature on speed setting dial, and low spring rate trigger design for ease of use. The impeller fan appears to be either non-dyed PP or POM. We ordered this much-needed leaf blower for this fall, and the first day we used it for clearing leaves from the patio, the front porch, and the street gutters and drains. Although I have not yet tried using all of the attachments those that I have tried have worked great. This is a very nice light and compact blower with plenty of power to do what it is intended to do. It is very easy to use and powerful for its size. I find it to be perfect for those jobs which do not need the power of a more powerful blower such as blowing leaves off a large wooded property. I bought this as a step up from my current worx single 20v blower. This is a big step up! I have used it on wet leaves in the yard & it really gets the job done. At first I thought I always had to use it on the fastest speed and hit the turbo switch. I was surprised at the volume of air that comes out on the lower setting. For dry leaves the lower setting worked great. For sticks and wet leaves the higher setting is needed and the turbo boost really comes in handy for stubborn items. It does use up the batteries faster than my old blower but that is to be expected because it has way more power. I did blow off my entire almost 3 car wide 70' long drive way, all of my sidewalks and all of the leaves out of my front yard before the batteries gave out. I have four 4 Ah batteries so, with a battery change, I can go to the back yard and finish up. It is light weight and easy to operate. This is another great product from the worx team. I had high expectations for this blower. I was disappointed for a change. If you have dry grass (I mean dry) on your driveway, it will blow it away. If you have a packing peanut on the cement garage floor, it will blow it outside. However, if you have wet, freshly cut grass on your driveway, this blower will blow some of it away; even when you press the turbo button. I also have your shredder/mulcher, but using that has to wait for reluctant oak leaves to fall! The blower/mulcher is perfect for rescuing maple leaves from the lawnmower. I was able to blow them all under the 3 trees and then use the mulcher to collect them. Some mulched leaves were put in place immediately while others are bagged until I get their destinations ready! Easy to collect off hardwood mulched area. Only sucked up one piece of mulch that I had to stop and remove. The bag does get heavy for me, so I limit my work time to 2 hours at a time. Wish I could use 100ft of the lighter gauge electric cord (14) since I only have 50 ft of the heavier (12) cord and that would be too heavy to drag around. Mulched maple leaves were a nice shredded size, but I am not sure how finely shred oak leaves will be. Blowing leaves off paved areas very easy!Valurcha
I bought this item for vacuuming out some rock beds in my yard. I tried it in a rock bed full of small sticks and was amazed at how much it picked up. Just remember to zip the bag before you start the vacuum. It is very powerful. The weight is to be expected with a vacuum of power. The power is amazing, the size is perfect, the weight is not light but it's all in the battery and even for me, a 5'3" petite woman, it was manageable. Love my new battery powered sweeper! I originally bought it to blow grass clippings, bits of mulch and other plant debris off a stone walkway that has grass between the stones and cannot be swept with a broom. I soon found a lot of other uses for my air-powered sweeper, as we have 2 covered porches and a patio which I can now clean up in a snap. And then there is the garage —- without moving objects (I do pull my cars out), I can do a quick floor cleanup in a short period of time (without moving objects it only gets about 90% clean, but hey, it is a garage, and otherwise I would not take the time to do it at all, so it would remain 100% filthy!).Ken
The sweeper was ridiculously easy to assemble and charge. It is very lightweight, fairly quiet, and easy to use. I got it to clear daily debris from my sidewalk and driveway. In this role it excels. It is clearly NOT a leaf blower, but an excellent sweeper. Think of it as a broom and not a rake. If what you want is a light, easy to use way to clean you hard surfaces, then this is perfect. It is not designed as a heavy duty leaf blower and you will find it severely under powered if you try to use it for moving leaves off of the grass in the autumn. This is a Great product! I think that the product could use a few adjustments to help out 1) like a deflector or muffler in the back near the plug to blow the air in different directions to keep it from blowing dust into your face. the same for the air coming from the bottom. the air coming from the bag at times blows the leaves back to where you just sucked up leaves. Again if only you could direct that air to the side and back. this isn't a big problem just a annoyance. 2) If this was a gas operated machine it would be much easier to use. 3) I'm not sure if the bag can come off the plastic but that would be a good think too so that you can wash it out and get ALL the dust from what used to be leaves. When you empty out the mulch not all of it comes out. don't get me wrong it all comes out but there is still some that get behind the plastic. 4) a sling that can connect to the front and the back of the handle to have a better balances when using the sling. As far as the performance his thing Rocks! It was picking up wet leaves like nothing which caught me off guard. It sucked up about 20 wet leaves stacked together at once. Which made it clogged up. Had to turn off and remove the leaves which turned into mud. Yes, that how good the suction is. The biggest problem was the extension cord, then the air blowing towards my face. I looked like I was inside the bag I was so dusty. I kept putting my hand in front of the air to deflect it and thought man if they put a small piece of plastic that rotated to direct the air coming out would be great. The air coming from the bag at the bottom isn't bad, but if you could also direct the air that would be good too, but not that much of a problem as the air coming from the back by the handle. I had about 4 years of flower bed debris to clean up – a thick mat of leaves, pine needles, pine cones and some small branches. I wanted a way to mulch all this and not toss it in the landfill. I considered the mulchers where you put leaves into the top and they are mulched with a couple of pieces of heavy string trimmer. I decided against that type because I no not like the designs that don't make it easier and quicker to replace the string trimmer line. After reading several of the reviews of the Turbine Fusion Vacuum, I decided to purchase one. I must say it grinds debris almost into a powder! It can even handle pine cones and small pieces of branches that might be mixed in with the leaves. The way I have used it is to first rake the areas into piles then go suck up the piles (this seemed like a reasonable way considering how matted the debris was). One complaint I saw in the customer reviews was how messy the vacuum was due to the amount of dust generated. Well I understand the dust because of how fine the debris is chopped up. I did find a way to use the Turbine Fusion and minimize the messiness. I found I could lay it on the ground next to my piles of leaves with the vacuum bag on its side then turn the vacuum on and feed leaves to the vacuum tube. They get sucked in and the dust stays mostly on the ground around the bag (I, of course, do not stick my arm into the vacuum tube because the last thing I'd want to do is have my fingers anywhere near fast spinning sharp blades!). My perception is as the bag fills, the suction power is reduced (which is common on indoor vacuums with bags) but this is compensated for when I feed debris into the vacuum tube instead of relying totally on suction power. Overall, I am impressed with the Turbine Fusion. I don't plan to use it on a frequent basis but when I need it I will be glad I have it.KevinG
I bought this unit for the mulching ability and the convenience of having the bag on my shoulder. Tbh, I hesitated because most of the time multi use means mediocre at the multiple uses. I was genuinely surprised and delighted. I tried the "weed eater in a garbage can" method to mulch my yard waste and it was adequate but inconvenient and the pieces were too inconsistent. The turbine fusion mulcher though: it mulches down to a beautifully consistent and easy to use mulch that I love spreading on my beds. See photo for comparison. Pros: convenient, consistent, can mulch more than it states (very small twigs are ok), the blower is powerful a bonus for my purpose. Cons: (these are realistic but dis not stop me from getting work done), Not fast work: the vac is good, not superbly strong, just give it time when it seems like it's not picking up. We used the blower on our gravel driveway. Some of the smaller, lighter bits of gravel are pushed by the blower, but adjusting height and direction can lessen this effect. All-in-all, much easier and more efficient than raking. Fully-charged battery runs for about 15-20 minutes. The unit is not heavy; I used it for about 45 minutes (we have 2 batteries) non-stop, shifting from hand to hand. Again- much better than raking. I only wish we would have had it sooner in the season. Next year, we'll start using it as soon as the leaves start to fall.Chiquita

After I received this blower (took 3 business days for it to arrive) I charged up the battery, took it outside to my driveway which had rained the day before, and blew all the damp leaves and twigs like they were bone dry, they flew over fifteen feet across the lawn, and I did not have it on full power. The lever for holding the power at a steady speed is a god send. I have used extensively several days have not had to re-charge the battery yet. I highly recommend this leaf blower to everyone
I am very excited about this leaf blower! My previous was electric and I had to move the cord all over the house. Now with this blower, I am able to roam freely. And I wanted something that had a lot of power and this meets the demands of my yard. Each year I get pummeled with leaves, and this is a great tool to handle the work. I am easily able to clear my flower beds and use it to clear out my garage of leaves very quickly with just plugging in the battery. Thank you Greenworks for a great product!Dan121
I know this term is overused, but I was stunned at how well this blower performed. I last purchased an electric blower 20+ years ago for almost the same price as this one. It was awful. I swore I'd never buy another. Fast forward and I see good reviews on battery powered blowers as long as you buy a powerful one. I caved in and am glad I did. Non-gasoline powered blowers have come a long way.Mongo
