I have mixed white/black, curly hair (texture closer to the white side), so moisturizing is a daily must for my long, curly hair. I love the formula of the product. The product sprays out in a mist, which dispenses a bit more fine than previous leave in conditioners I have used. Due to that, I have found myself over spraying. I found out once brushing that the spray conditioner actually let out a good amount. However, I have since adjusted – takes a minute to get used to. The bottle itself is not my favorite. Although very pretty, the push top to spray the product is rather tough to push down with one finger. The top also spins so while attempting to spray the product it twists in a direction that does not spray on the hair. My hair feels moisturized and soft when using this product. I bought this product for $30, really excited to try and revive my frizzy, dry, straight hair. I feel like this product may work for people with fine hair, but it personally didn’t work for my thick and wirey strands. In addition to this, I live in a pretty humid place so that could also be why it’s not helping. The smell is also strange and reminds me of a public bathroom? Completely not what I was expecting 🙁 I sprayed around 10 times on the full length of my hair and brushed through it multiple times and saw no change. If anything, my hair feels even more brittle. I have both sizes, purchased the travel side to see if my hair liked it, and then bought full size after a recent business trip. so far so good. I have fine, wavy color treated hair that is crazy frizzy in humid weather. which is basically 10 months of the year where I live. I was on vacation and angry at the product I brought with me, and on a whim went to the on site store. I recently wrote a review how disappointed I was in the shampoo not lathering up as it used to. I use the conditioner too which doesn’t seem to have changed. I recently bought this spray to detangle and I’ve got to say it’s great. I spray it in shampoo and conditioned hair whilst damp and you can brush straight through it. It doesn’t leave the hair greasy either which was a worry on fine hair. A bit pricey but as it works it is worth it. XLoz1

Smell wasn’t great, but was secondary to the fact that it honestly was more drying to my daughter’s thick 3C curls than anything. Made it frizzy, even while I was braiding her hair after washing & deep conditioning. I also used my usual concoction Jojoba for moisture & grape seed oil to seal it in. Very disappointed. I should have took Additional pictures the day after. It looked like her braids were in for 4 days, instead of next day hair which is usually the neatest. Definitely returning.RazM

Been using this leave in conditioner for over 6 months now. Its been such a game changer in my hair care routine which mainly consisted of trying to tame my curly hair. I bought this as an alternative to wash out conditioner which do not seem to do enough for dryness and manageability. My hair is in great condition and much less breakage as the added bonus which has meant my hair is better than it has been for years. I have long, loose curls that turn more into waves the longer I go in between washes. Before I was a mom, I maintained my hair by combing/washing every other day. If I wasn’t about to wash, I didn’t comb because my hair would get too frizzy and lose some of its shape. Since becoming a mom, washing once a week is my new norm. The tangles and frizz were awful since I tried not to comb often. But since I started using this product, I can go that whole week in between washes and feel confident about my hair! Each night that I don’t wash, I apply Cantu, comb a little, and braid my hair for the night. It’s been easy to maintain, and I love how smooth and relaxed my hair turns out.In Need of Protein

I've used many Leave-in conditioners but this one actually works! The first time I used it the instructions said to apply "generously" of course when I realised how thick and creamy it was I decided to ignore this and apply a little more than I would normally but not by much. I noticed when I ran my hands under tap that the greasy feel came away before I'd even used soap! So, the second time I used it I applied it liberally. I have long hair and used as directed this time. By the time it dried I was very surprised that it gave weight to my fine hair and made it bouncy! So I highly recommend this product. I'm in my 70's and don't usually leave reviews because they would generally be negative and knowing not everybody has the same experience thought my 2 cents worth wasn't worth the bother. Over time I hope to discover that it's other promise of making my hair "healthier" comes to fruition. I'll let you know. I don't usually buy this product but I will in the future.veelav

This conditions hair as it's namesake suggests however this is not a rinse out conditioner. It's a leave in conditioner that really hydrates and softens/detangles hair! I use it as a leave in conditioner after washing, and as a curl/style refresher. I will apply it straight out of the bottle to condition my hair and I use it in a mister with distilled water as a refresher. It has the appearance of a gel, but when you rub it in, it has slip and is thicker than expected. Its like a emulsified hair gel cream as far as consistency that spreads easily on my hair and just melts. If applied heavily this can be sticky and dries leaving flakes or residue/white-ish cast – leaving the hair looking dull. This has slip but its not really emollient. Although I think that most, if not all hair types, can find some use for this, I do think it is GREAT if you have fine/limp hair. I know its a stretch for ethnic beauties to believe me especially when this product line is heavily aimed towards the non-ethnic market. For thicker, porous and/or more textured hair types, I recommend sealing this with an oil, cream or butter in order to lock in that moisture. I personally seal it with a butter, pudding or cream if I have time but I have worn it by itself. Even though, its not emoillent because its contains no oils, waxes or butters – it does leave a buttery/slippery texture to the hair that I suspect is from the glycerin content and pH balancing qualities which smoothes the hair strand. I just find that the moisture lasts longer when sealed and can offset any potential dullness when used excessively or over time. Ive used it alone for twist outs, paired up with a gel for a wash and go( didnt pill). Its really multi purpose. The smell is really a spa-like signature scent. Has a unisex cologne scent that is refreshing but not off-putting. Definitely synthetic but pleasant. It contains no protein nor any thermal protection qualities. so its just a general fuss-free conditioner.Breezy

I've been using this leave-in for almost 10 years (since my mid-20's) and I absolutely love it. I have long hair that comes down to about the small of my back, and although I have a lot of it it's pretty fine. Before using this leave in I used to know it was time for a hair cut because of the amount of split ends I had – my hair was like an indicator toothbrush; the bottom 2 inches would air-dry immediately after a shower and get weirdly fluffy because it was so split/dry. In the Canadian winter I would have a halo of constantly waving hair stands because of the dry air and static electricity, brushing it was a battle. As soon as I started using this all issues went away. No more static, brushing is ridiculously simple, and when I get into the hair dressers about once every 6 moths they're constantly surprised at how healthy my hair is (in particular because of how long it is and the almost complete lack of split ends). For as long as I can find it I will keep using this stuff. The extra bonus, which is also a major factor in my books, is that it's not scented. Especially relevant given the amount I have to use due to how much hair I have. I can use it without worrying that I'm going to smell like chemicals, flowers or baked goods. Because it has no scent it doesn't clash with all of the other things on my body that do (scent left over from shampoo as well as deodorant). I have thick strand, wavy, red, frizzy coarse hair.. and a lot of it. So it's basically dry feeling all the time. It often just shatters at the ends despite my best efforts and avoiding heat. This leave in, along with the Awapuhi has literally changed my hair. It's soft and manageable and sooooooooo healthy! My hairdresser asked if I'd gone somewhere else for a haircut between appointments because my ends looked so good. The length I gained was shocking(no more breakage, doesn't actually increase growth) I think the trick to avoid greasiness is to use a SMALL amount. My length is about mid shoulder, and thick.. I use slightly more than nickel size amount and rub it between my hands to emulsify until it turns white and looks like lotion. Apply a very quick small swipe to my crown/bangs where my frizz goes wild then work the rest through the length. My only complaint is the smell. It's not really pleasant, not bad. It reminds me of old men's aftershave smell or some sort of beauty products my grandmas used. Thankfully it fades very quickly and I never notice it during the day. I am about 3/4 through my first bottle and it’s lasted me 1 month – I absolutely love it. My hair is noticeable fuller and bouncier after using this and is super soft to the touch. I have oily fine hair so this definitely fits my criteria for a solid conditioner. Special kudos to the smell. Oh. Em. Gee. I was so close to not even trying this, I had been given a sample to try and almost gave it away but I finally tried it after a long stressful day and omg.. the smell alone sent me to heaven. I mean I know most hair products smell good but this is like a perfume for your hair, which this company actually makes a hair fragrance (I did some research after trying this mask) so I'm not surprised that this smells so good, but I mean it REALLY smells good! And as for the results, my hair is bleached and has about 6 different colors in it, it's long, down to my butt, and VERY dry/brittle. I didn't think the mask would do much but it doesn't have that dry tangled feeling to it like normal when I wash it, it felt sooo luxurious and soft. I am so thoroughly impressed, that I ordered a full size bottle right after trying it. It's THAT good! And I suggest getting it on eBa-ha-y or Mercri so it's not super expensive either! I spent more than I normally would have, at $17 for a bottle, and I'd be surprised if anyone can find it that cheap again, but hey, this stuff is my new therapy in a bottle baby! I didn’t know what to expect from this, but my hair actually loves it. It is such a lightweight spray it covers so well, I can feel the difference instantly. It makes my hair so silky and shiny but not at all flat. I have fine long hair and I use this on 2nd day hair after a load of dry shampoo on the roots, then this on the ends and it brings my hair back to life. Highly recommend. I have purchased seven cans of this since it came out. I've had intermittent sprayer issues starting with the third can but it was remedied by using the cans upside down. The two cans I currently have though that trick no longer works. Each is two thirds full and all I get is sputters, air and sometimes a little foam dripping onto the floor. I needed a product to tame my very frizzy hair, the OUAI leave in conditioner doesn’t help me it. I thought that being a spray instead of a cream it would not weight my very fine hair down. Boy was I wrong! I leaves my hair looking gross, like I haven’t washed it since the beginning of times, looks hard, wet, greasy, sticky, dirty and disgusting all at the same time. First thing I’d like to mention is my hair type it’s 4C 4Z, but now I’m relaxed so I’d say it’s a 1A texture currently. I relaxed my hair three nights ago from today and used 25 Miracle Cream as a Leave-in conditioner. The first thing I noticed was that the cream wasn’t too loose or too thick it was just right! Rubbing the product in my hands and then smelling it opened my airways completely! It’s extremely fragrant and perfumey, but I love fragrance and can appreciate the strong smell. I love when my hair smells just as good as I do. My hair was a little more than damp and just a quarter size went a long way, I have very short hair by the way. After I blow dried my hair it definitely smelled great, but I noticed it didn’t weigh down my tresses which is important for me because my hair is straight, so I still need it to have body and bounce you know? I will continue to use this product, if I continue to enjoy using this product I will definitely purchase this in the future. This product works well enough I guess. I found it to be pretty greasy feeling though and you gotta be careful not to use too much if you are using it to straighten the hair. the bottle lid can be hard to snap all the way closed so the product can leak into the cap and make a huge mess. I’m Caucasian with thin blonde hair. I got this as a sample and used as directed on the package. I have not mastered the blow out/ using a blow dryer to get nice smooth hair. Normally when I blow dry my hair it’s a frizzy, ‘wavy’ if you can even call it that, mess. With this product I was able to blow dry it to a soft straight finish and didn’t need to curl/ straighten/ do anything further. When I went to buy the product I scrolled though the pictures and it looks like it is meant for thicker, ethnic hair, but I’m here to tell you it also works on thin hair too. This is a great leave in! definently detangles, however, I wouldn't use this on its own. I have to use a ton of water ,but it does what is says. Not for thicker hair types. If you have a lot of hair, you will run out of this product. I have type 4a mid length hair , but, I dont have a thick hair density. Therefore it works great! I really like this leave in for me 3a/3b hair. It makes my hair so soft and manageable. Just spray in right after a shower and I can see the results the next day. Manageability also lasts for a day or so without having to touch up if your just bumming around for a few days. Definitely a new staple to my routine. I was a bit skeptical because i saw a lot of people with much more textured and thick hair saying that it didn’t work well for them for one reason or another. I have 2B hair that has suffered a lot of damage due to using heat & breakage from brushing with the wrong brush. Anyway i love the rosemary and mint oil from this company so i went ahead and got this product. my hair loves it, it leaves my hair looking really shiny and healthy even after straightening. (hair is straightened in photo) my hair looks soooo silky when i dont use heat and let it air dry with this product. My hair doesnt clump up either with this stuff either. In the past ive used other products that clump my hair up and make it all crunchy but not this stuff. The smell is immaculate too!!!! It smells so good that one of my friends said i smell good and he is so weird about scents and things like that. this stuff is already an essential in my hair product supplies and i would really recommend giving this brands products a try if you need some moisture for your hair!Momokuma

Very badly packaged! Purchased this product with ten other products when everything was $6.99 (I believe it was a Black Friday special). EVERYTHING was damaged!! All ten of the products were thrown in a box with nothing securing them! Well, you can imagine what happened when going through the shipping process. a couple of the products were bursted open which caused all of the products to be greasy and sticky when they arrived to me. Extremely messy! I was highly disappointed but didn’t want to go through the trouble or sending them back. I really love the scent! So sweet with a hint of fruit but not overpowering. I have 3B curly hair and use it for CGM (curly girl method) styling. The product is nice to use on wet hair, makes it softer and easier to manage, it's also good to refresh your curls the next day after washing your hair (I make my hair slightly wet, and use it). I recommend applying some styling gel on top. Never made my hair greasy. As you only need a small amount, this bottle will last for a long time, years, if your hair is short or medium length. I have THE MOST tangled hair ever and I have spent tons of money on shampoo, conditioner, hair masks, leave-in conditioners, brushes, you name it…..In the end, the results were always the same. I ended up standing in my bathroom for I don't even know how long, fighting with my hairbrush, spraying multiple products onto my hair that I just spent ages washing, trying desperately to get the knots out of it or to just get the brush to go through it at all. I live in France and ordered several hundred dollars back in December for my parents to bring from NY. I had never tried the products but after reading all the reviews praising them, I thought there would be no way they wouldn't work. Well I was wrong, I tried the Climate Control, Moisture Lock, Conditioner, Curl Quencher, Deep conditioner AND I could not get a brush through my hair with any of the products. I was really bummed as I was looking forward to finally have something that worked to tame my curls especially for the summer months. What made it worse is my experience with trying to return the product to Ouidad. The reason I ordered A LOT of product because I had confidence that it would work. Unfortunately my parents had to cancel their January trip due to last minute Covid travel changes implemented by France. I wound up traveling to the states in February and that is when I finally had the opportunity to try the product. After writing to Ouidad about my predicament and asking if they can make an exception, due to the circumstances of my situation, for which I have proof and allow me to return the unused product.The manager Saouda gave me a hard no, she didn't even attempt to meet me half way. Policy and rules prevailed!!! Instead of looking at it as an individual case. Guess they don't see me as a future customer so why bother making exceptions. Anyway, its my own fault for trusting the reviews and not the product before ordering such a large amount. Moral of the story, particularly for overseas clients… try the product first to make sure it woks for your hair. I have super thin curly hair. I'm from MS and just moved to Denver CO. Going from humidity to dry weather really did a number on my curls. My hair was so dry frizzy not shiny and no bounce. I got this in a goodybag at an eventI have been using and LOVING this leave-in treatment since I got it at the end of last month from the event. It is a lightweight milk that sprays in a fine mist. The scent is heavenly! Somewhere between coconuts and the beachI have used this on both my natural hair and my curly and wavy extensions. For natural hair, I use it as the Liquid in the L.O.C method and generally when I need extra hydration. It softens my hair and keeps it hydrated, it’s not oily and it doesn’t weigh it down. I also like it especially for use when I have protective styling, it’s a quick and easy way to add hydration.For my deep curly extensions, the leave in treatment helps to define the curls and reduce frizz. When I don’t have time to use a curl enhancer for defining the curls on the unit, I simply use this spray and finger comb/detangle the curls. For my wavy extensions, the spray helps me detangle, add hydration without weighing it down or leaving oily residue. I also simply love the scent, I may have abused it by spraying a LOT of this onto my units- one time I was on the tube getting off and a girl must have got a whiff of it because she said to her friend, that girl’s hair smells amazing loolI love this leave in conditioner! This has lots of great reviews but I noticed they're almost all coming from people with fine/thin and straight or short hair, and they rave about how it's non greasy and lightweight. Well sure, if that's you, this is probably great but it says it's for all hair types and it is NOT, and usually most SM lines work for more textured hair, but not this. I have thick sorta course 2b/c super frizzy natural ginger hair (which tends to be extra coarse and frizzy). I live for the coconut hibiscus curl line but wanted to try something new so I got a travel size bottle of this. It was like scented water (and speaking of that, it's coconut scented but also has a very strong earthy monoi/gardenia scent to it-not my thing, I don't really like it but it's ok) and made my hair tangly even if it wasn't before. When it was already tangly before, this just made it worse and made it impossible to comb through without breaking apart my curls and feeling like it was causing breakage. My hair looked dull and frizzy felt super dry upon airdrying (I don't blowdry so no comment there). I tried using more to see if that was the issue, but when I used almost half of the mini bottle in one go, my hair still didn't feel soft and had no slip and the only difference was that it now dried sticky, but still frizzy and dry though. Upon looking at the ingredients more closely, I think I know the culprit! GLYCERIN is the 3rd ingredient!!! A lot of us thicker/coarsier/curlier haired ppl can't tolerate glycerin in large amounts. It's a humectant but that means it can also pull moisture out of the hair, and into the air, and that's obviously what's going on here. It does not lock moisture in at all, by nature, and needs occlusive ingredients like oils to lock the moisture in, but when the glycerin is higher on the list than any oils or butters, well, you do the math. So I'm not going to say this is a horrible product, it obviously works for some, but it is NOT for all hair types. If your hair is thick, coarse, wavy or curly, long, or especially any combination of the above, take heed. In all fairness, I've never had these watery type leave ins work for me, but I was hoping since it's shea moisture it might be different, but nah. Thick and creamy leave ins seem to just be a necessity for my hair type. I would recommend the coconut hibiscus curl and style milk instead, even though it's a styler it's way more moisturizing than this. I like to use it after applying more of my regular conditioner as a leave in after I shower. Gives me beautiful curls every time. I hate to leave a bad review but I still love shea moisture and would DEFINITELY recommend their other products and the brand as a whole!Vcurt

I have fine, straight hair that I grow for donations. Currently I have 18 inches ready for harvesting. I use a deep cleansing tea tree oil shampoo because my scalp gets very oily but as you can guess that means my ends will get very dry, and brittle even with normal rinsed out conditioning. I got the small bottle of Ouai leave in conditioner as a trial. I add it to my last 4-6 inches of hair right after my normal wash routine. I apply while hair is still damp. For first use, I used a heavy, over applied amount to dry hair and left it braided in overnight, before my morning wash. It has been 3 weeks if regular use, the ends of my hair are soft, feel hydrated and do not have the frizzy texture anymore. Down side is I feel the scent is very strong. It's not unpleasant, but overpowers any other scent based products I use, including body sprays or lotion.The Meg

Amazingly transformed my hair to the way it was decades ago when I used very little effort, before all the highlights came into my life and damage repair products entered my hair care regiment and this was very easy to use. After using the detox shampoo, I towel dried and sprayed this over my hair and the smell was divine. Other clients must agree because this company has just come out with a line of perfumes and candles of these scents by popular demand. It was one of the best detanglers I've used in a while, and I styled it with the Revlon heat styler. It was great all day, my hair smelled good but not too strong like other shampoos and conditioners lines are sometimes. It just smelled all over as if I've been to the spa and had a great massage with some delicious essential oils. And my hair looked like it had just been styled and cut and it glistened, was smooth bouncy and in 99° weather with 100% humidity there was not a frizz on my head all day. Even when we had a sprinkling of hot sizzling rain in the late afternoon, my hair stayed fresh, soft and kept its style. The only other product I used, it was a sample of Verb ghost oil that I ran through my hair before I left for the day. But it was only a few drops on the middle part of my hair that tends to frizz. So far I like it. The second time I used it, it didn't seem as dramatic of an effect of a good hair day, but then later in the day when my hair was dry I sprayed more on and it gave it a nice glow and body. I will probably also use rinse out conditioner before I spray this on my hair.Nena

I have fine, long (mid-back) hair and an oily scalp. I wash my hair every second day. I had decent volume in my youth, now my hair has about half the volume it used to have. I usually air dry my hair. Most leave in conditioners I have tried have either been too heavy or have done nothing useful for my hair. This one actually does a nice job of making my hair smooth without weighing it down. I spray the conditioner on the bottom two thirds of my towel dried hair, avoiding the area near the roots because of my oily scalp. The conditioner definitely helps with detangling and my hair is wavy without being frizzy once it has dried. The scent is quite strong when you spray on the conditioner – not bad, just strong – but the scent disappears once your hair is dry. I bought a small bottle to test out the conditioner and will definitely be buying the large bottle going forward.LindaInNepean

I am about 3/4 through my first bottle and it’s lasted me 1 month – I absolutely love it. My hair is noticeable fuller and bouncier after using this and is super soft to the touch. I have oily fine hair so this definitely fits my criteria for a solid conditioner. Special kudos to the smell. Oh. Em. Gee. I was so close to not even trying this, I had been given a sample to try and almost gave it away but I finally tried it after a long stressful day and omg.. the smell alone sent me to heaven. I mean I know most hair products smell good but this is like a perfume for your hair, which this company actually makes a hair fragrance (I did some research after trying this mask) so I'm not surprised that this smells so good, but I mean it REALLY smells good! And as for the results, my hair is bleached and has about 6 different colors in it, it's long, down to my butt, and VERY dry/brittle. I didn't think the mask would do much but it doesn't have that dry tangled feeling to it like normal when I wash it, it felt sooo luxurious and soft. I am so thoroughly impressed, that I ordered a full size bottle right after trying it. It's THAT good! And I suggest getting it on eBa-ha-y or Mercri so it's not super expensive either! I spent more than I normally would have, at $17 for a bottle, and I'd be surprised if anyone can find it that cheap again, but hey, this stuff is my new therapy in a bottle baby! This stuff smells really good and defines my hair/moisturizes it. I gave it four stars because it doesn't really help with frizz and I also am being nit picky over the lid. I've noticed that the product gets in the lid and whenever I open or close it, a tiny bit of product comes out at me. So I've trained myself to just hold it over my hand and not towards my face/self haha. I'm trying to get back into taking care of my curly hair so I bought several different products and I liked this one. Smells like blueberries and conditions pretty well. Just need to find something else for my frizz I suppose. Also not sure why it says it's only at Ulta? Maybe because of the size but other places have this product. Just maybe not as big of a bottle?Jmoe

Absolutely LOVEE this leave in conditioner . I use it on our four year with really pretty curls that just lack the moisture especially during the night. This product helps her wake up with cute little curls that aren’t super frizzy and I just add a little more leave in conditioner and water to her hair to help freshen it up in the morning! This conditioner helps a ton and makes doing her hair ALOT faster! It smells wonderful on wet hair however when it starts to dry it does smell a little different and I’m not sure that it’s just my pregnancy that causes me to smell it differently but either way it still smells good just a little off! Def worth the purchase and I’ve been using this stuff for about 7 months . Not oily at all like most products and doesn’t leave any residue in the hair. Also makes the hair super soft when u go to wash it out !Mama

this leave-in is my soulmate. i'm in love. i have 2a-3a dry, high porosity hair. no matter how much conditioner i put in, my hair will get dry the moment it's all rinsed out. i've tried leave in sprays to combat this and they don't do ANYTHING compared to this absolute gift from god. a little goes a long way, but it also doesn't weigh down my hair at all, so i'm able to use a good amount and get sufficient moisture without ending up with flat, lifeless hair. plus amazing price for the size. smells so good too. would swim in this if given the opportunity.annie

Can I obsess over the smell for a moment? Amazing! It was the first thing that literally blew my mind! It’s a mix of cocoa butter (obviously) and this amazing smell that I’ve never been able to pinpoint in some hair products but reminds me of a great smelling man! Lol. Let’s move on. The product is super creamy but it doesn’t leave your hair feeling gunky or heavy. It’s super lightweight and left my hair shiny and the curls so defined! My hair already looks and feels healthier after just one use! I have naturally curly hair but I always straighten it because my curls won’t stay intact once it dries. Ok so! I love this shampoo. This has been the only shampoo to clean my hair and bot dry it out. My natural gwols know how frustrating it can be to wash, moisturize and style your hair and then it be dry and toe up the next. I know how it feels to buy a hundred plus dollars of products to be disappointed or mixing them with new products so money isn't wasted. I washed my hair the first day I bought this and fell in love. My hair was soft. It didn't dry out after and the tea tree leave-in…girl use that too! I haven't tried the detailing conditioner yet because they were out of stock when I purchased. Probably because of that half off sale. I did find that this and Taliah's apple aloe deep conditioner work well together. My hair was shiny, easy to comb and style. I also used the Tgin moisturizer. I have a mix of 4b and 4c hair. My daughter's has 4b hair and it works perfect for her. Her wash and go's hold all day even after recess and a long day at school. My sister has used a nice amount of the leave in and moisturizer, now I have to buy more lol. I am going to try the honey mask and the anti-breakage serum. I will be leaving reviews also. I want to note I am leaving this review after a few weeks of using. I like to get a feel. I washed my hair with the Taliah apple aloe shampoo and it was giving dry and not for me. Let me start off my by saying this product is AMAZINGGGGG ! I usually have a very hard time finding the right products for my hair especially when it comes to shampoo . My hair is usually VERY dry and soaks up moisture QUICK most shampoos tend to leave my hair even more dry and brittle feeling. this shampoo along with the conditioner has done wonders for my hair. After washing my hair with this shampoo it’s left feeling so soft and manageable making my hair easier to stay detangingd throughout the wash process ! I have moderately frizzy but mostly straight Caucasian hair and I've been using natural, sulfate/paraben free shampoos for a year or so now. I like TGIN because it makes my hair SUPER silky and soft. The conditioner detangles so well that I can easily wide tooth comb my hair straight out of the shower. However, my hair does feel very heavy and has NO volume whatsoever after using this. I also have to wash more frequently as my hair gets oily way faster, oily to the point it looks bad. To the touch and the eye, my hair looks fantastic with this product but I might look for something that doesn't require such frequent washing in the future.Jauhnam8

It's not often i find something for my curly hair that just works and i need to review to hopefully help others in their curly hair journey. I have a mixture of tight and loose curls and ringlets but my hair is prone to frizz. It doesn't matter what i put on my hair and i have tried everything, 2 days later i have a halo of frizz. This cream is amazing, definitely a holy grail for me. I use it as a curl cream (leave in) and 6 days later i still have no frizz. This is unheard of. I love the creamy texture, don't be put off by the oil in the name as it's not greasy at all. It leaves my hair soft, bouncy, defined and shiny. Yes shiny, something curly girls know is hard to achieve. I follow up with either the souffle or gel and hover over with my diffuser so as not to break the cast. Then finally use the serum to scrunch in. My hair has never looked or smelled so good. Worth every penny and i have literally paid a fortune for those sponsored curly hair brands that pop up but leave your hair feeling like straw and do nothing for your curls.Kirsty

Curlsmith gifted me a free sample of this conditioner in exchange for my honest opinion. This cream is rather rich, but you need very little product, so it doesn't weigh down the hair. I'd start with a dime-sized amount and add more as needed. I tried it on two different textures, 3C and 4C, both shoulder length. I got the best results using a nickel-sized and quarter-sized amount, respectively. It makes both curls and coils look healthy, shiny, and hydrated. It doesn't weigh hair down, and I love, most of all, that it doesn't leave hair feeling soft, not crunchy. It looks fabulous and actually feels like hair! I have to note that following the directions is crucial for my desired results, especially on coily hair. I comb it out completely before washing, and constantly rake my fingers through it while washing and conditioning to keep it detangled Once the Oil-In Cream is raked through soaking wet hair, I use the recommended praying hands method to cover the strands as best I can, but I also gently tug as I go to elongate the coils. I find this helps immensely with shrinkage. Tie it up and fluff it in the morning and it's good for 2-3 days without reapplication, unless you feel like a little additional moisture. If you wash weekly, it doesn't leave hair a sticky, greasy mess, either. Overall, while using this cream takes a few extra minutes of care, the results are well worth the effort. Also, considering the amount needed even on thick hair, this jar holds a good amount of product. This is my first experience with the Curlsmith brand, and I'm delighted that it does what it says. I have heard great things about this product on media platforms that I decided to give it a go. I purchased the smaller tub for my first purchase incase it did not agree with my hair. I have tried many products over the years and many products claim to do wonders for curly hair and these many products have ended up being a let down. This product without question does exactly what is says on the tin. From my first use I could see the difference and feel the difference it made to my curls. I have 2c/3a curls. This cream is thick and a little goes a long way. It did not way my hair down at all. My curls were tighter and so much shine to them. There is no cast or crunch. My curls are so soft. The smell of the product is out of this world. I hate products that do not smell nice. This one smells like a fruit salad. I can not recommend this product highly enough. I have type 4 hair with low porosity. It’s incredibly hard to find products that work well in my hair. The favorites of the hair community don’t do anything good for my hair and it’s very frustrating. This leave in is great. It allows me to detangle my hair easily with my fingers and makes my curls pop. I first use a herbal spray with honey that I made and then a pea sized amount maybe a little more and then finish with a sealer like Aunt Carole’s Pomade (also purchased at Target) and my hair is great.
