I would give it a 8! The pros are…. You never have to worry about cutting yourself. Your hair also does not grow back as fast as if you would shave or wax. I like it because I can bring it in my purse with me if I'm going somewhere and we realized that I might need it row quick and I can go right into the ladies Room and fix a spot that I missed That's one of the main things I liked about it. MUCH different than what I've tried years ago. This is a nice pump bottle and the cream comes out as cream. Not watery or seperated. Came out as cream. Even has a little cap to prevent an unwanted pump. The spong it came with makes so much sense. I sit over the side of my bath tub when using this. You totally don't have to, but I do. So first I apply cream to the yellow softer side of sponge and rub all over my legs. Then after 6 minutes I use the slightly rougher white side of sponge to wipe away. Leaves my legs hairless, smooth and moisturized. There is no chemical smell, no need to vent the bathroom, no headache. Nothing like I remeber. Has a nice light clean violet scent This stuff rocks! I feel confident enough to let my pre tween daughter to use it too.
Upon first look the description on the bottle is very deceiving. It specifically says “in shower hair removal cream”. Reading that you would think you could use 100% in the shower. Because the product is wrapped in plastic to keep the sponge attached you can’t read the instructions until after purchase and opening. The instruction state that you apply before your shower and wait 3 minutes and than shower without a direct stream on product. I do like that it does actually work and the sponge is nice to get the product off of you good. It really does work well and leaves my legs soft. I get horrible razor burn on the inside of my upper legs and bikini line when shaving, so was excited to try this as a shaving alternative. Upon opening the product, I noticed that the smell was not as terrible as other products I have used. You apply the product with a little sponge the size of your palm. You have to make sure the hair you want to remove is completely covered, so just my entire upper legs seemed to take a lot of product. Once you apply, you have to leave it on for 6 – 10 minutes, so make time for this before your shower. Once you get in the shower, you are able to wipe the hair off with the same sponge. I applied this on leg hair that had been shaved 2 days prior, and it seemed to do a really spotty job. I ended up having to shave to catch the hairs that weren’t removed, so I was not super impressed with the end result. Maybe it is made for longer hair? GiGi is great brand. I've always used (+10 years) their jar of wax, strip-free, and although a bit messy, I've learned to use it, almost hassle-free. I didn't care for this style of waxing…personal choice; however, I'd recommend others to at least try it. See if it works for them… It's a good price and was worth the experiment for me, anyway. I have never used a hair removal product and I needed to remove my chest hair (and I am a bit hairy). I tried this one after a minimal amount of research. I bought this because time is short with a 1 year old in the house so trimming is not currently an option. Here’s the lowdown. It’s £9, stinks of rotting flesh. Tried shoulders, hips and feet. Of which the latter two – nothing happened. Shoulders were patchy – not even 1/3 came off. Apparently results only last 5-7. Which begs the question- why bother even if it did work? It’s not often I’m disappointed in something. How do I get a refund? The only think this gets rid of is the £10 I binned in good faith.James1982

So I went online to look at YouTubers who have tried different hair removal creams. I have very coarse hair on my legs, armpits, and the nether regions. I came across this guy who uses this in his sensitive areas. He said that he also had coarse hair and that normally he gets bad ingrown hairs when he shaves down there. I thought, if it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me. So I ordered mine online through Amazon and waited for it to come. When it finally came I ripped open the package, read the directions, and prepped myself for pure pain! I've tried nair down below and I thought my who-he was going to completely burn off! First thing I noticed that I liked is that it was a thicker formula so where I put it is where it stayed. Second thing, is the smell isn't their initially but as it starts burning the hair off, it's not the greatest smell. Most creams don't smell good and I'm okay with that. I first tried it for the minimum 3 minutes… That did nothing! Since I'm not a first time hair cream removal person, I knew to try it for a little bit longer and give it another shot. I waited 24 hours so I didn't have any reactions on my skin and the next day I put it on for about 4 minutes 30 seconds. I checked a small portion before fully removing it and I left it on for another 30 seconds. Apparently this is allowed to stay on for 6 minutes total. When I left it on for 5 minutes, It did amazing! I've been using it on all areas that have hair and it's done a great job for me! I always have ingrown hairs and so far, nothing! I'm going to continue to use this for the next couple months and see if I still feel the same way. I'm pretty happy about this, I also decided to try it on the rear end. Not sure what the bad reviews are all about, but I love this product. I have coarse hair and over the years have over-shaved (shaved past where I needed to) and shaved incorrectly, and in the opposite direction. I thought I was doomed to get waxes forever or save up for laser hair removal, but alas! Anyways, I have tried nair several times and immediately after applying felt tingling and burning. Never left it on long enough to see results. It also did not come with a sponge, so it was messy and the smell made my body wreak of rubber until my next shower. Yuck. Nair burned so much I wouldn't dare put it near my bikini area. Veet on the other hand exceeded my expectations. It comes with a sponge making the experience so much easier and tidy. No product is perfect but I'd say 95% of my unwanted body hair is gone (bikini, under arms, legs, stomach). I left it on for 12-13 minutes, and didn't get any type of chemical burn or irritation. I've always been a shaver but I had gotten tired of the razor bumps, prickly little hairs that hurt when they start to grow back, and the dark spots that are left from the razor bumps. I watched one of Taina's videos on YouTube and she recommended this as an alternative to shaving and that was some of the best advice for hair removal I've had. It is so quick and easy to use and does not hurt at all. It starts working instantly as you can see the hair shrivel up. It does stink like sulfur so I recommended cleaning the area you applied it on really well. The results are a super smooth area where it looks like hair was never there. It had been decades since I used hair remover product. I decided to try it again. It is advertised as 27% less chemical ingredients than the previous formula. Wow, this stuff is amazing. MUCH different than what I've tried years ago. This is a nice pump bottle and the cream comes out as cream. Not watery or seperated. Came out as cream. Even has a little cap to prevent an unwanted pump. The spong it came with makes so much sense. I sit over the side of my bath tub when using this. You totally don't have to, but I do. So first I apply cream to the yellow softer side of sponge and rub all over my legs. Then after 6 minutes I use the slightly rougher white side of sponge to wipe away. Leaves my legs hairless, smooth and moisturized. There is no chemical smell, no need to vent the bathroom, no headache. Nothing like I remeber. Has a nice light clean violet scent This stuff rocks! I feel confident enough to let my pre tween daughter to use it too.
Upon first look the description on the bottle is very deceiving. It specifically says “in shower hair removal cream”. Reading that you would think you could use 100% in the shower. Because the product is wrapped in plastic to keep the sponge attached you can’t read the instructions until after purchase and opening. The instruction state that you apply before your shower and wait 3 minutes and than shower without a direct stream on product. I do like that it does actually work and the sponge is nice to get the product off of you good. It really does work well and leaves my legs soft. I get horrible razor burn on the inside of my upper legs and bikini line when shaving, so was excited to try this as a shaving alternative. Upon opening the product, I noticed that the smell was not as terrible as other products I have used. You apply the product with a little sponge the size of your palm. You have to make sure the hair you want to remove is completely covered, so just my entire upper legs seemed to take a lot of product. Once you apply, you have to leave it on for 6 – 10 minutes, so make time for this before your shower. Once you get in the shower, you are able to wipe the hair off with the same sponge. I applied this on leg hair that had been shaved 2 days prior, and it seemed to do a really spotty job. I ended up having to shave to catch the hairs that weren’t removed, so I was not super impressed with the end result. Maybe it is made for longer hair? Unfortunately I decided to try this product as it caught my eye and lured me with its fancy packaging and appealing price. I read the directions and proceeded to apply the product as instructed, waited the desired amount of time, which was halfway between the minimum and maximum limits, and used the cute little spatula to scrape off the cream. What came off was not my hair, but rather my beliefs that anything could be less effective than a dull razor, which I had to use because my legs were still covered in a layer of mangled hair and disappointment. Not only did this product fail to remove my hair, but it took almost the whole bottle to even cover my legs with one layer. This product was the biggest waste of my time, effort and money that I have ever encountered, but it all might just be worth it to write this review and warn the thousands, perhaps even millions of unsuspecting consumers that may be inclined to make the same mistake that I did when I decided to buy this terrible product.

I've been using this product for about a year. Before I would use Sally Hansen. It works. It does miss a few spots especially in the upper lip. I do find that the hair growths a little faster compared to Sally Hansen especially in the beginning, however, if you keep using it once a week for a year, the hair growth does slow down. It does not smell as strong as other hair removal creams. There is less time required for the hair removal. The tube is really easy to get the cream out of. I like the moisturizer it comes with. It does not burn my sensitive skin especially if you leave it on an extra 2 minutes compared to Sally Hansen where my face would be super red and inflammed. Make sure to moisturize often, Glee does dry you out a little more. Negatives: The plastic hair removal tool SUCKS! I used it twice could never get it to quite work. Just use a damp cloth, it is much faster and works so much better. You will see actual results with a damp cloth versus the plastic crap. For the price, the tubes are a bit small. You can probably get about 3-4 uses, so it's not the most budget friendly. Mentioned it above, it tends to miss certain areas especially areas you really want to get rid of (for me always the upper lip) and the hair does growth back faster than others so I'd suggest trying it out for a month and seeing how it works for you, but I still recommend.migonz1990
ok so I've only tried this once. Used it on legs and bikini area. Left on the minimum time, as instructed. Hopped in shower. And nothing. Nothing came off!. And the little scraper? Very rough edges-felt as though it was scratching my legs. So i wasnt actually able to use it, but i did use a wash cloth. I will try once more and leave on max time-will update if there are changes. *I really like the thickness of this product. Love that there isn't a harsh smell. Okay, so I was skeptical. I have very thick body hair and get terrible razor burn and have to shave every day to keep my legs smooth. I also have not had success with wax in the past. I stopped waxing because it was super painful, would leave terrible bruising on my pale skin, and wouldn't even remove the hair from the root. The hairs would mostly just break off, even when used correctly. Not so with sugaring! From my very first application, even while figuring out the flicking motion, it was easy, much less painful, left no bruising, and actually removed my hair! I can't stop telling my friends about this guys. I love this. After sugaring my legs once, I didn't have to pull out the sugaring pot again for two weeks – on the first try! Super excited I tried this out and will definitely be incorporating this into my routine from here on out. The best part is that it's water soluble if I make a mess (which I'm prone to do). One note: I have had some trouble figuring out the flicking motion when sugaring my armpits. I don't know why I'm struggling with this specific area, but I would love to see a tutorial on this, because I just have not had success! I have gotten Brazilian waxes for years now. I have a major issue with shaving my armpits because it always irritates and gives me ingrown hairs, and I constantlyyyyyy have to shave them. Used on my legs and armpits. I started with my legs and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was – picked it up on the first try and was able to do both legs with just one glob of sugar each. Nearly painless! Armpits – totally different story!! I think because my pits were warm, the sugar was gloopy and sticky and never hard enough to actually rip off, so it was just a huge mess. I ended up standing directly in front of a fan, which helped a bit, but next time I will definitely ice my pits before applying any sugar. It was also a challenge because of the angles. And, SO painful (and unexpectedly bloody)! I think I just have super thick armpit hair. I was pretty skeptical of this product, especially after the numerous negative reviews. My skin is incredibly sensitive, I regularly get rashes from supposedly sensitive skin products. I applied it as instructed (waiting one minute outside the shower then got in) and it all immediately washed off. I was disappointed. When I got out, I dried off my legs then applied it again. I left it on for about 8 minutes then rinsed it off with a washcloth. It worked wonders on my legs! My hair is thinner and pretty fine, so it may just not work well on thick hairs. I also used it in my armpits which worked but it did burn slightly. Once I rinsed it off, I immediately put on a nourishing deodorant and an aloe based lotion on my legs and they feel good. Okay, if you're like me, you remember Nair as having a very distinct smell that left your hands feeling kind of weird after lathering it on. Maybe even hurt a little to rub it off afterwards only for therr to still be missed spots of hair. Let me tell you, they have turned their formula around! This personally worked great for me. I used it on my legs. I put it on, waited about a minute then got in the shower. I washed my face and everything else, which took maybe about 3 minutes. The nair didn't just come off when the water ran down my legs, which was great. After that I rubbed it off in circular motions with a wash rag. Took all the hair and left my legs super smooth. I had tried veet before, and that left my legs a little red and itchy. This did not. This also doesn't have as bad a smell as the normal nair. It definitely still smells, just not as bad. I actually used this because I had to the first time I used it. I was at my guy's house (this was when we had first started dating way way way before we moved in together) and it was all he had. This shampoo is okay, it really isn’t the best. I have a sensitive scalp, along with thinning, dry hair due to bleaching it and as this has almond oil in I thought it might do well. The smell is nice and fresh, however the day after shampooing, my hair was greasy and looked like it hadn’t been washed at all! I’ve been using head and shoulder products ever since I was a little kid. I have been battling with dandruff throughout my life. There’s shampoo and conditioner product really does what it says. It gets rid of dandruff and itchy scalp for a couple days when you use it but if you stop using it for about a week your scalp symptoms start coming back. I'm going to be honest – this product burned my face. I do have sensitive skin, but I have a pretty high pain tolerance, and this was just too much. It almost seemed like I had to cake the mixture on my face for it to even work. Sometimes it was very successful while other times, I was pretty disappointed. This is the best product for my skin and hair type. I have extremely dark hair and I have a fair complexion. I tried bleaching but it just turned my mustache into a blonde mustache. 😂 I’ve tried waxing but the skin on my face is way too sensitive for that. So this cream hair remover is what I use. There are two things that you need to do when using this product. One, spot test. I know most products say to spot test but it’s EXTREMELY important to do this so you know if you’re going to have a reaction and how long you should leave it on for. I literally JUST used mine and left it on for 30 seconds too long and I can feel my upper lip burning. And the second thing you need to do before using is check the expiration date. Once I did my normal routine and my face started burning so badly. I knew I didn’t leave it on too long so when I started checking around the bottle and packaging, I saw it was expired. It burned my face so badly that it actually scabbed! BUT if you follow the directions and check the date, it’s the best product I’ve been able to find to meet my needs. This product is my weekly go-to. I have naturally very fine hair on my face and body. Due to the sensitive nature of my skin, I choose not to remove the hair due to breakouts, general itchiness, and the unappealing regrowth aesthetic. I bleach the “peach-fuzz” on my face once a week using this product and it delivers! The downside is that this has an itchy and burning sensation, but the workaround I’ve found is to lightly prep and moisturize the skin with coconut oil! The smell is still strong, but my skin doesn’t feel as irritated. I also find that the hair is bleached to a more blonde color, so when wearing foundation or other face products – the hair can turn a bit “brassy”, but overall this is the product that has worked the best for me for 10 years.dana.r

Unfortunately I decided to try this product as it caught my eye and lured me with its fancy packaging and appealing price. I read the directions and proceeded to apply the product as instructed, waited the desired amount of time, which was halfway between the minimum and maximum limits, and used the cute little spatula to scrape off the cream. What came off was not my hair, but rather my beliefs that anything could be less effective than a dull razor, which I had to use because my legs were still covered in a layer of mangled hair and disappointment. Not only did this product fail to remove my hair, but it took almost the whole bottle to even cover my legs with one layer. This product was the biggest waste of my time, effort and money that I have ever encountered, but it all might just be worth it to write this review and warn the thousands, perhaps even millions of unsuspecting consumers that may be inclined to make the same mistake that I did when I decided to buy this terrible product.

I've been using this product for about a year. Before I would use Sally Hansen. It works. It does miss a few spots especially in the upper lip. I do find that the hair growths a little faster compared to Sally Hansen especially in the beginning, however, if you keep using it once a week for a year, the hair growth does slow down. It does not smell as strong as other hair removal creams. There is less time required for the hair removal. The tube is really easy to get the cream out of. I like the moisturizer it comes with. It does not burn my sensitive skin especially if you leave it on an extra 2 minutes compared to Sally Hansen where my face would be super red and inflammed. Make sure to moisturize often, Glee does dry you out a little more. Negatives: The plastic hair removal tool SUCKS! I used it twice could never get it to quite work. Just use a damp cloth, it is much faster and works so much better. You will see actual results with a damp cloth versus the plastic crap. For the price, the tubes are a bit small. You can probably get about 3-4 uses, so it's not the most budget friendly. Mentioned it above, it tends to miss certain areas especially areas you really want to get rid of (for me always the upper lip) and the hair does growth back faster than others so I'd suggest trying it out for a month and seeing how it works for you, but I still recommend.migonz1990
ok so I've only tried this once. Used it on legs and bikini area. Left on the minimum time, as instructed. Hopped in shower. And nothing. Nothing came off!. And the little scraper? Very rough edges-felt as though it was scratching my legs. So i wasnt actually able to use it, but i did use a wash cloth. I will try once more and leave on max time-will update if there are changes. *I really like the thickness of this product. Love that there isn't a harsh smell. After debating for a while I decided that I would try hair removal cream instead of shaving. I have used some in the past and have always been out off by the smell. This one didn’t have the usual smell, in fact it was quite pleasant. I did the patch test and with no adverse affects I decided that it was time to do it. Due to lockdown I had large amount of hair on my legs and knew that shaving this would be a long task but using the hair removal cream made it nice and easy. It’s simple to apply, I left it for the full length of time and was impressed with the results. Unlike with shaving I had no red bumps on my legs. I did find that my legs didn’t feel as smooth as they would be with shaving but I put this down to it being the first time in a couple of months where hair was removed. There was also some spots where it didn’t remove the hair at all but I applied a small amount of extra cream and it then removed the other hairs. Usually my hair grows back very quickly but it has been over a week and I have noticed that it is significantly shorter than it would normally be after this length of time if I had shaved.Bethw97
I wasn’t really impressed. It didn’t remove much hair on my lower leg. The upper portion of my leg more around my knee was so smooth, but the lower half was not. I ended up having to shave after. Now after the shave my legs were the smoothest they have ever been. I do like the spatula it comes with! Super helpful to put on the cream and remove it without getting it all over my hands. It didn’t break out my skin at all which was also super nice as I’m sensitive to almost everything. I may attempt again and update my review! Would love to hear others thoughts or tricks. I only used cream before, maybe 15 years ago and it was horrible! First, the smell was horrendous, then was the itch and burn, the skin was irritated and all the experience wasn't a pleasure. Nowadays however, the ingredients changed, leaving you with the best possible experience! It's a bit messy. BUT I have thick leg hair. Like thick. When I do soft or hard wax. I have to go over 2-3x times for all my hair to remove. But with this was it was just one swipe. Maybe I had a bad bottle, but the straw inside (which pumps up the product) went less than half way down the bottle. I didn't notice this until the pump stopped working when the bottle was still over half full. I could tell from the shape of the straw at the end that it hadn't snapped so it was put in like that. now very very messy to get any product out so I just gave up and threw it away. It has been years since I used a Hair product. I hated the smell and had concerns about chemicals I was applying to my skin. I decided to try again as I have sensitive skin. I went with this particular product so I wouldn't have to use my hands and hoping Aloe in this product would help with any sensitivity that may occur. There were some areas that were missed somehow and applied to that area. Glad the smell wasn't too strong. Love these! There was a time where I could not find these anywhere and I freaked bc all the other brands did not work for me! These are the only ones that don’t leave my sensitive skin irritated, and they don’t leave clumps of reside behind. The fabric strips mold to your face so they don’t wrinkle causing the wax to fold and making the pull off painful. One box costs me less than getting my upper lip threaded or waxed. One strip is enough for my upper lip. Considering there is 12 double sided strips in a box, this Can last me 12 lip waxes which saves me almost $60 from a salon. That alone is enough to keep buying this product! The new packaging comes with powder to apply to you waxing area to help the strip adhere only to hair not skin. I would say that is a nice add in! I usually go for baby powder but now that it’s included as a bonus the kit seems even better. I do wish it came with more post wax towelettes, and smaller too. I love these. When using them, if your skin is sensitive, or you’re nervous, put a light coat of powder in the spot you’re going to wax first and test a small spot before going all in. Rub them between your hands until they are warmer and softer, but still take a little pulling to get apart. For my eyebrows, I draw a line to match my brow line and cut the strip so that it fits easier and I can get more hair without being scared it will take the whole brow off. I use the scraps for between the brows. I wish they gave us more of the wipes to get the wax off, but you can use any oil you have on hand on a napkin once you run out. Be sure to smooth them down with pressure in the direction of the hair, then rip them off in the opposite direction— against the grain if you will. These are awesome! Well worth the money! I’ve been waxing for years, and now I have these wax strips. No more mixing some messy wax. Just put the strip between your hands and rub back and forth quickly, building up heat by friction. I do this for about one minute. The wax will be on both sides when you part the strip. The people that harmed their skin may have left the strip on too long; the ones that did not have much hair removed, may have not pressed the strip enough before waxing. You just press firmly and strip. It also comes with some calming pads. Feels so nice and makes the skin soft. I love this product! Although I must confess that the first time before buying it I wanted to read some reviews first in order to buy safely, some reviews were very negative, since for some it caused burns or irritation to the face. But just as there were negative reviews there were many positive ones, so in the end I decided to buy them and the truth is they are wonderful, it worked well for me and my daughters too.isnotu.l

It works for me! I'm medium (olive/tan skin) and I was worried it wouldn't work but so far its not painful for me and I can see a difference in hair. It doesn't do a good job with my thick chin hairs but it's great for upper lip that are finer hairs and for my legs and pits. Like anything it just takes time and you have to be patient and on a schedule.emiemiree
I purchased this product last summer and began using it immediately. I love that I don't need to purchase gels to use with this, like many other machines, because I'm allergic to the ingredients in the gels. I used this for 5 weeks and really began seeing results mid-summer. I had to discontinue use of this due to pregnancy. However, it's February now, and I can still see the results. I still have a lot of hair growth, because I didn't use it for the full 8 weeks, but all hair that was removed during the summer is still gone. It has not grown back. Please understand that hair grows in cycles. This machine is only supposed to be used once per week for 8 weeks…possibly a little longer. While we may be impatient and want to get faster results, using it more frequently will not yield faster/better results because hair grows in cycles. You can't kill hair growth after you already killed it. You also can't kill hair growth that is not in active growing stage yet. I really started to notice results after 4 weeks of use because I was able to see the thinning of the hair that was growing in. After the 8 weeks of use are done, you may still need to use a round of it from time to time, as we develop new hair follicles every so often. This does not mean that the machine doesn't work. It simply means, your body is producing more hair follicles. This machine promises to get results in the same amount of time as getting your hair professionally removed. Compared to the price of that, this machine is pennies! I can't wait to start using it again and hopefully be finished with my use of it by summer time so I don't have to deal with shaving so much during the summer, ugh! The only negative I can say about this machine is that the light is incredibly bright…making it uncomfortable to use when you have a migraine. I too had high hopes for this product after having done lots of research. I too have fair skin and dark hair which should be the ideal combination for success. I followed all manufacturers recommendations for preparation prior to use. I "used up" the flash head that came with the unit and the overall result is absolutely no change in either the amount of hair or it's rate of regrowth. (Reality check…. the flash is used up when it no longer fires…. not after 5000 or however many flashes. That is a scam on an already overpriced item of questionable value) I went so far as to only use the unit on the high setting and was doing two, 10 minute sessions per day. Still no visible results. Great packaging…… convincing sales and video presentation on the ME web site……. but none of those things translate into an effective device. For what it does the price should be in the $10 to $15 dollar range. For close to $400 I expect to see results. Do not buy! It's a huge waste of money.BikerReverend
