I have being dying my hair bright, vibrant red for just over five years now, and Arctic Fox has been part of my color maintenance routine since day one. Vibrant red hair is not easy to maintain and keep from fading quickly, which can very quickly do serious damage to your hair if your only using ammonia-based chemical dyes every time you need to refresh your color. Arctic Fox doesn't damage hair at all. In fact, it helps undue the damage caused by permanent dyes because it doesn't have any harsh chemicals that strip hair. Arctic Fox is actually GOOD for your hair and works just like a conditioner, not like a hair dye. I add Arctic Fox to my regular conditioner (sulfate free of course) so that every time I wash my hair I'm also keeping my red looking vibrant and even healthier every time. I always wash my hair using the coolest water I can tolerate and after I shampoo I apply my premixed bottle of 3/4 sulfate free conditioner, 1/4 Arctic Fox Wrath + a dollop of Violet Dream and let it sit on my hair secured on top of my with a claw clip while I finish the rest of my shower routine, just like I would do with a nourishing hair mask. Once my routine is done, I rinse out my hair thuroughly in cool water and towel dry it only so I get the most out of conditioning my hair, and viola! My looks, feels softer and healthier than before I washed it, plus my red still looks like it did the day I first day I dyed it. It's a win win. Not only does Artic Fox keep my red looking great, but it leaves my hair healthier every time also. Plus the custom colors you can create by mixing different different Arctic Fox colors together are endless! I was amazed at the color i got by mixing Purple AF + a touch of Aquamarine! It sounds crazy to mix aquamarine and deep purple together, but the color came out a multidimensional dark blue/purple-ish color that changes color depending on how the light hits it. It's my new favorite color! It does come out very dark, so I apply it (no conditioner added) to the bottom 1/3 of my hair and lightly pull the color upwards into my red to get a perfect blended fade from bright red to deep blue/purple. I love this stuff. I am older and gray hair just does not look good on me. But as I get older my hair sucks up perm hair dye on the ends and turning them black, while about 2 inches at the roots will turn either blonde or red. But Arctic Fox fits the bill, and it smells good (like grapes). It does not damage your hair, as it is semi perm and no peroxide or developer. So far I have used Wrath, Poison, Sunset Orange, Ritual, Purple Rain, Transylvania. Purple Rain (now called Purple AF) and Transylvania were used as a mix. The colors will only bleed right after you apply them, but otherwise you do not need to worry about bleeding. Arctic Fox really is like using a deep conditioner with highly pigmented color in it. Leaves your hair shiny, soft and smelling like grapes. Wash you hair in cold water and only a few times a week, the color will loose its intensity and fade not go away. The Arctic Fox web site tells you how the colors fade, for example Wrath is red but fades to pink. So in the course of 4 weeks your hair will be vibrant red, magenta, dark pink, lighter pink. I do not bleach my hair, so on the front (the gray and white part) the color looks like what it is like on bleached hair. While the back is brown about a level 5, so it is highlighted with the color I used. If you plan to use it on unbleached hair then you have to use the more vivid colors.
I have virgin dirty blonde hair. I bought the shade Transylvania which is a pure black color. I applied it last night to my clean hair, no products or nothing in it and let it sit in foil for about 40 minutes. I didn't apply the dye to my whole head, I just wanted to add pieces here and there throughout my hair like I've done in the past. Upon rinsing my hair out with cold water and letting it dry I noticed how faded the black looks. In the shower the water ran blue. I know black dyes typically contain blue but this was like a vibrant blueish green. In artificial lighting the dye in my hair looks like a dark grey, but in the natural sunlight it looks like a greyish green which isn't very pretty at the moment. I'm going to give it one more go before I decide whether or not to return this. I usually LOVE arctic fox dyes and have never had issues before but this black dye really needs to be reformulated.Jen

i decided to try this in conjunction with the sheamoisture low porosity line. i have thick 2b, 2c, 3a hair but not a ton of it. it's been damaged over the years from heat and coloring and probably from using the wrong products this whole time. my hair is low porosity and protein sensitive but this mask as a deep conditioner once a week has absolutely transformed my hair. it's soft both straight out the shower and air dried. it's not as tangled and way easier to comb through which has made my hair fall out a lot less. the mask is thick but has good slip and i don't feel my hair is stringy when i'm running it through my hair. i don't think i've ever felt my hair this soft before. highly recommend if you have dry, moisture resistant hairpia
I liked the texture of this and the way it applied. It was very smooth, had great slip, absorbed into my hair rather than just sitting on top and because of how well it applied, a little went a long way. Once I rinsed my hair out, I felt like it could’ve been softer and shinier. I’ve definitely used deep conditioners that left my hair feeling much better than this one. I don’t have curls, my hair is mostly straight. My hairdresser told me I may be in protein overload so I researched the best nourishing products without protein. I bought this and I did as the instructions asked. My hair looks and feels better. The smell is nothing to me. My hair is also thin and fine and it didn’t weigh it down. I barely used any. I had excellent results with this particular curling iron. It's a three times ceramic-coated for Less damage to the hair and it goes up to 400 degrees for high heat. There's an automatic shut-off in a 36 30-second heat up. Long lasting curls with a 1 and 1/4 inch barrel for larger curls and waves I do enjoy that it has a non indicator light, there are 30 different heat settings there's an extra-long cooling tip and there's a tangle-free swivel cord. I purchased the 3/4" and have used it many times. It works well for my fine shoulder length hair. I can use it for bouncy curls or loose waves depending on how I use the iron. I have other Hot Tools, Bed Head, Conair, Revlon, and Gold n Hot irons, wavers, & wands and this works just as well if not better. I tend to grab this more than other tools lately. I like it so much I purchased the 1 inch and the 1 1/2 inch. Those I returned – the 1 inch never turned on at all and the 1 1/2 inch turned on but never stopped blinking and didn't seem to get very hot, plus the barrel was just too large for my hair. I read all the negative reviews about this curling iron and would probably agree that it doesn't work all that great for creating curls. BUT I use the largest diameter size to straighten my curly/frizzy hair and have to say it works great for that purpose. I am probably on my 5th Revlon curling iron. All of them have been purchased to straighten my hair. I have purchased other brands but always go back to the Revlon product. I bought this one as a backup and for travel since it was on sale for a reasonable price. The cord on my new one is so much better as the cord on my older version of the same curling iron is constantly twisted and drives me nuts. I compared the Little Buddy heater with the Portable Buddy Heater for $20 more. I was planning to use it in a tent, and based on the sq ft heating capabilities thought the smaller one would work fine. The Little Buddy heater is VERY topheavy–as soon as I took it out of the box I immediately put it back in and ordered the larger unit. This option felt like it would be unsafe in a tent. I've used the larger option ("Portable Buddy") once and it worked great for what I needed it for. This box was possibly opened before I purchased it. It was sealed with a piece of tape that was narrow on top of another wider piece. I thought this looked funny, but there was another box on the shelf sealed the same way. My wife opened the packaging and noted the product did not seem brand new. There appeared to be missing packing material. We cannot confirm if this was used, but this was how it appeared. We plan to keep it since we did not have time to return it. I've been using this buddy heater quite frequently for 2 years now. It puts out a lot of heat, lasts between 5-6 hours as advertised, and it's pretty compact for the ice hut. The only issue I have with it is it doesn't light the way Mr.Buddy tells you to light it. The pilot light heats up the small electrode and allows propane through but unless you lightly lift the little buddy up and down once the propane is flowing, the pilot light won't actually be close enough to the gas being released to light it. Great for people with skin sensitivity. This does not make my skin itch and I noticed that my hair isn't falling out in clumps when I wash my hair. I might lose all of 10 hairs after washing with this. I tend to have oily skin and hair, this may be the difference between people who love this and those who don't. If you have oily hair, this is an excellent choice. Some people have commented that it's harsh on their hair, but that feeling lasts for only a few minutes right after rinsing. I don't use conditioner and this shampoo does NOT feel harsh after I brush out my hair. I’m allergic to some plant extracts such as lavender, rosemary. Many fragrance free products use these ingredients as fragrance and/or other purposes. Bought this shampoo because it’s real fragrance free to me. However, it made my armpit length hair tangled. It might be great for short hair. Instead of wasting it, I used it as shower gel. I have very oily roots that are very prone to build up. I usually have to wash my hair about every other day. Lately my scalp has been really itchy for some reason so I’m swapping out my regular shampoo for this one since it’s gentle. It didn’t get rid of the itch on my scalp but it is noticeably improved. This shampoo also got rid of all the weird oily build up that was on my hair and left it feeling really clean. I don’t think this would work for someone with dry hair and you definitely need to follow with conditioner for the length of your hair or it would be super dry. If I wasn’t having an issue with my scalp being weirdly sensitive right now I honestly wouldn’t buy this because I know there are products out there that are probably much better for your hair but for my current situation this shampoo is doing the jobe

I really liked how this turned out on my hair. My hair is already pretty dark but my roots grow in pretty fast so this was absolutely needed. It does not have a super strong chemical smell, and left my hair feeling soft: I have problems using color that often damages my curl pattern. This did not! This is my hair immediately after wash. For reference my hair is a medium to light brown with an ash undertone and some gray hairs. Midnight blue is really nice with an undertone of a blue tint but no actual blue to your hair. Jet black is very dark, sharp and glossy looking. Natural black still solid coverage but a softer tone to it. Chestnut brown has a golden almost auburn color to it. Red hot rhythms is stunning when first applied but quickly loses color in less than a week making your hair look very much like a box dye job. Golden blond is true golden warm tone but again you need a professional to lighten your hair first in order for the color to take all the way through your hair. I don't know who has their nose broken, but the conditioner smells absolutely fabulous. Reminds of a salon honestly. obviously when you're dying you need to have a fan going but even that's not a bad smell. Bottom line as with any color going darker than your hair tone is always easy and possible. And going lighter impossible without a bleach or toner to lighten it first before depositing color. I really liked this brand, it was new to me and this is how I feel about it. Now that I’ve went through the process of dying my hair and the color has now been in for a full day. First the packaging was very neat and you knew what you were working with. Once opened everything was in the box with easy to read instructions. I was super excited to see the dye bottle was a twist off top. Usually I have to cut the tip of the dye bottle in the boxes dye that I normally use. The dye mixed after a few hard shakes, but once I poured into my hair I could see that it didn’t mix all the way so had to give a bit more hard shakes to get it to fully mix. The liquid itself was runny, I like my hair dye a bit less runny. The smell of it was not too powering, and once on the head and scalp it did burn a bit while I sat to catch my hair. The washout was nice and not messy. A few rinses and it came out clear. The product came with a very nice sized conditioner, that has left my hair super soft. The conditioner had a very nice smell. It reminded me of tropical fruit. My hair still smells like it, and I work all day. All my hair caught the color and came out great. I would recommend trying this brand if you have it within reach. I've never understood why people would leave such dramatic reviews sometimes, until I found this product. I don't think I can get all of my positive thoughts and emotions depicted in this review alone. I've always struggled to find a good dry shampoo and thought I'd have to settle on some of the criteria I had, but this checks off all the boxes. It smells great, and the smell itself isn't very strong like batiste and other brands – it's light and floral fruity. A little goes a long way, and my hair stays oil-free looking all day. Other dry shampoos I've tried, I can feel the texture of my oils and the dry shampoo together, making me never want to touch my hair. I am still aware there is dry shampoo in my hair, but now I can run my fingers through without a gunky feeling on my fingers. I have very fine,straight, long hair. When I wash it, I have to put some kind of cream rinse or conditioner or spray on it to detangle it , since it is highlighted. My hair is usually too flat and would not be the way I like it till the 3rd day. I've tried mouse & spray texturizes; but the spray texturizers make your hair tacky and sticky and feel dirty. I wash my hair so it's clean, and then if you use a texturizing spray or mouse, it makes it sticky and tacky. The great thing about this dry shampoo is after washing my hair; I just spray specific pieces around the front & the crown, rub it in to my roots, wait a minute, brush it through , and I have instant thickness and body & my hair takes shape and is styled. My hair is not sticky or tacky and is very full. I've spent so much money trying every other Premier brand, and they just make your hair feel dirty. I love this product. Ive been waiting to rate this product as my opinions on it kept changing. I bought the biggest bottle and I'm nearly done with it so I think my time has come to say what I feel. First, I'm going to mention that I have medium brown colored hair, medium/leaning thin on thickness. I tried to follow the directions on this bottle BAD MISTAKE. You have to work fast with this product. You spray, start working it in immediately. If I waited even 3-5 minutes, I could not get any of the white coloring out. I think there is a major difference in this issue if your hair is lighter. Yes, it does feel very light when its in your hair, you definitely don't feel disgusting and they may be on to something when they say it 'actually cleans hair.' However, I found this product to be too unreliable. Sometimes I felt like this was IT but too many times I thought that it's really not that great. I would try a travel size first. I never knew how other women can maneuver both a brush and a hairdryer at the same time. Maybe it’s a simple task for most people, but it’s never been easy for me. That’s why I needed this product. I think it’s an ingenious invention! I have very fine hair that tangles easily, so brushing repeatedly while drying is a must to prevent it from drying up into a big tangle.I will say, this device is quite bigger than expected and rather heavy however, once you get used to maneuvering it, it’s really very intuitive. Just hold out/onto sections of your hair and brush from top to bottom, repeatedly. It helps to separate the hair in layers, too. This device gets the job done fairly quickly with minimal tangling.A final note of caution: The high mode gets surprisingly hot… I’d say it’s closer to the heat level of a hair straightener than a blow dryer. So be very careful not to touch the brush part OR the upper handle with your fingers while it’s on high heat. I think my blow dryer I've been using just went obsolete in my world. I've been fighting curly, unruly frizzy hair my whole life. Been using a professional blow dryer with a specific round brush, and painstakingly drying my hair with the little attachment and a round brush for decades. Gave up on that and started ruining my hair with a flat iron. Still never could achieve that shine I've always dreamed of. UNTIL now. I feel like this thing has been the best kept secret to women everywhere. Works fast, doesn't yank or break my hair, ALOT less breakage noticed in the sink than anything else I've ever used. Fast, and works wonders. The highest setting is truly hot, I only had to use medium setting and it works beautifully. It is slightly heavier than I would prefer, but easy to use for me. A bit loud, but for this hair I could care less. It's shiny, bouncy, and manageable, without a drop of serum or any leave in conditioner, just used a thermal heat protectant spray and voila. I'm sold. As long as this unit lasts, I will be raving about it. Thank you for making my life easier and helping to keep my hair healthy longer. My favorite thing about it? Unfortunately, it is true that this item is very short-lived. While it still turns on and blows hot air, the bristles have become warped and now snag and pull at my hair, severely damaging it. The design of the brush prevents removal of residue (like heat styling products) from being effectively removed — the styling cream gunk builds over time. The "cool air" setting only works with a high fan, so setting styles with cool air is impossible. Also, the labels for the heat settings wore off within a week. While any styling tool will damage your hair, this one is particularly pernicious. I have so much more breakage than ever before. My hair isn't ruined, but I am displeased. Also, the last time I used it, my hair became so hot that I burned my hand — on my hair. That was when I decided this product is going in the trash. It's too bad, because I bought it less than six months ago. While it is easier and faster than blowdrying, you'll be paying for the time gained in remarkable hair damage.Carrie

I got this Volumizer because my blow dryer went kaput, and I wanted a dryer that wouldn’t make me look like I had gone out in a wind storm. This volumizer definitely works! I felt like it made my hair look thicker but at the same time smooth after I washed. I did towel dry my hair before I used it, as suggested in the booklet. It didn’t dry my hair any faster than a regular dryer, so if your concern is speed, you would need something else. However, it doesn’t do too bad if you want to smooth your hair as you colonize. I like the fact that you can remove the brush attachment to clean and I used it briefly without to dry my hair some at the roots before I did the rest. The temp settings are nice too, if you don’t want high heat or you have thinner hair, in which lower heat is probably better, and the cool setting is also nice if you don’t need heat. I was given this to review by TryIt Sampling. Very nice little hairdryer. The attached brush makes it easy to blow dry your hair. However this is not for short hair. I have super short hair and I found it not to be helpful at all when the brush was attached. So I remove the brush and use just the dryer part and I got very nice results as well dried it fast and didn’t get too hot as I did not put it on the hot setting. So I let my daughter use it who has not quite shoulder length hair and she found it to be a very nice hair dryer as well. Although when the hair is really wet after a shower it does take longer to use this dryer. She found she used her prior hairdryer to dry the hair to just damp and then she would finish it with this hairdryer using the attached brush. She really liked the ease of use. How nicely it fit in her hand it was not awkward at all. It made the hair smooth and shiny. Not frizzy at all. She then tried it on my granddaughter who has just longer than shoulder length hair. Once again,It took longer to dry the hair using just this hairdryer but it really made a huge difference in her hair. It smoothed it down and made it soft and shiny. And it flipped the ends and made them bouncy and curly. It Gave her hair a whole new look. My granddaughter was extremely happy with the look when she was done. This is a great blow dryer for those who want smooth looks with volume. It is easy to grasp and hold while using and doesn't bother my wrists or hands, and is not heavy. It has several heat modes so you can choose according to your hair needs. I use the medium setting for my fine hair. I section my hair and use the dryer on those parts, working my way up. It takes little time to dry, as the brush lifts and separates your hair. You can go under the hair like I do, for volume, or for smoothing just brush it down on the hair strands. It can get quite hot, so be careful with your fingers. I can dry my hair much quicker with this dryer by taking sections, compared to a normal blow dryer and brush routine. It cools quickly so that I'm able to put it away when I'm done with my makeup. I use a flat iron to finish up, but normally it is just minimal, because the blow dryer does such a great job. I would recommend this for anyone who wants smoother hair. My hair is pretty straight, so I don't know how it works with someone with some curl. I can set it on the low setting to dry my bangs slowly, so I can get them where I want them. I would definitely recommend this dryer over some others that I have had. Originally when I picked the color off the lime crime website it looked more like a tan neutral almost with subtle hints of peach close to nude color, and then when it arrived and the I swatched it – it was so far from what it looked like on the website? Hence why I usually don’t like purchasing make up mostly “lipsticks” online. However, I was extremely surprised how beautiful it was with little to no make up on and just very light mascara and lashes and how beautiful it went with my pale skin it wasn’t too dark and it wasn’t too late it’s the perfect shade for any occasion. I wouldn’t say it’s a nude color, I guess it could be placed in the nude category but I’ve found it had more hues of browns grays purples almost like a very dry it out purple with subtle and when I say subtle I mean very subtle hints of pinks and peaches and just all sorts of colors that I can’t quite point my finger on may be a little bit of a gray but mix those all together and you get this beautiful cashmere color that goes on smooth! I love that it’s a liquid lipstick aka VELVETINE matte (so I know it won’t be coming off on my teeth, clothes, drinks or even when I’m eating greasy foods – THIS HAS STAYED PUT!) I’ll even go as far as saying it lasted one very long passionate date night with my husband 🙊🙈😂 (insert blushing emoji here)  This was actually my second time purchasing this shade, and I would definitely purchase it again and again! Limecrime has great sales from time to time so make sure to look out for that! I would NEVER recommend this dye to anyone. It only gets a star because it smelled nice. I got Sea Witch and it has dyed every surface my hair touches that color if the strand is wet. As soon as any water hits my hair, the color just starts running everywhere. I just put a little gel in my hair so I could braid it and my scalp has turned green again and so are my hands. My hair has been falling out more than usual after using this dye and all my towels, pillow cases, every surface in my bathroom, the sink at work, they are all covered in little hair strands that turn the counter top green. It’s infuriating. I get that washing your hair means color will come out, but I’ve NEVER had any other brand wash out like this or turn every surface it touches that color. I will never be buying it again and I’m probably going to take this color out of my hair soon. I’ve dealt with this for almost 2 weeks and it’s only getting worse. I love this brand so much. I’ve used maybe five of their colors, but the jello and chocolate Cherry are my absolute favorite ones. First off, the color penetration is excellent. If anyone out there is looking for tips, try rinsing your hair with cool water every time you wash it. Keeps the color longer and stays vibrant. The smell is a plus!!! And the price isn’t bad considering you’re getting over two more ounces of color compared to Manic Panic. I’ve been doing my hair funky colors for about twenty years now, I’ve tried literally every brand out there. I’ll start with what I didn’t like. If you have small hands you’ll probably dislike this one. The push down handle (not sure of its proper name) is too far out. My thumb was having trouble reaching it. And once i started twirling it, the on/off button kept turning off because it’s poorly placed right in the center where your fingers tend to grip the hardest. I had to stay focused so that I wouldn’t turn it off again and again while trying not to burn myself. And for what I liked…it curls well and holds its heat. I returned mine because it frustrated me so much. There seems to be a mix of reviews but ultimately you’ll have to try it for yourself. While this curling iron does an okay job curling hair, some engineer should be fired for putting the on/off switch exactly where your thumb goes as you are trying to curl your hair. As others have noted, the on/off switch keeps going off accidentally, as you happen to even slightly touch the area where the switch is. I recommend that the switch be moved to the end tip of the curling iron, so that a person is not constantly hitting the switch by accident. Or a different type of switch be employed, one that is not so sensitive to touch.Gin
I should have read the most recent reviews first before purchasing. I have longer hair and I thought this curling iron looked like it would do the job…NOT at all! First of all, I don’t know what is the deal with where they have placed the on/off and turbo buttons, but as you are using, my thumb kept hitting it and turning it off. Next, no matter what products I used before or after, it does NOT hold any curls. At first I thought maybe my hair was ‘too clean’ so I tried it several different times, and same results! I even made sure not to curl too much hair at one time and did smaller sections. Don’t be fooled…when you’re using it, you’ll see the curls, but as soon as you’re finished and go about your day, they are GONE! Disappointing because it took a long time to curl all my hair. I love this this product! Finally something that does NOT make my hair more frizzy, crunchy, dry or greasy. I have fine to medium curly long hair, I am of Eastern European descent. I just use a very small amount like directions advised, worked it into my wet hair, scrunched it with my hands and let air dry. My hair is sooo soft, no frizz and my curls are defined. I have been searching for a natural product without chemicals that actually works. I love it! It also has a tropical fragrance that is not overwhelming and smells so good! I found this product yearssss ago when I first started the Curly Girl Method. It was very runny, white and much lighter. I ended up repurchasing it and when I opened it, it is incredibly yellow and thick and the ingredient list is completely different. I received a sample of this and I am struggling. I have thick fine hair that is greying. I’m thankful that I received a sample and know that this product is not for me. I thought it could be good for styling my hair, no. The tiniest amount into damp hair abd my hair feels heavy and looks lank. I searched the product online and found the YouTube video from the brand. They recommended putting a small amount in your hair, twisting it and demonstrated theses lovely young girls with freshly washed long hair, applied the product to make hand crunched beach waves and only showed the initial application and implied that this would lion great when dried. There’s a reason for that. I tried their technique, freshly washed hair, towel dried to damp ready for styling just like the demo video. Rubbed a small amount of product in my hands, applied, twisted my hair just like the vide. Cute. Then it dried. To crispy feeling, lamb looking hair with extra frizz. It feels awful. I’ve used this product multiple times, I’ve tried following the brand recommendations and lank crispy frizzy heavy greasy hair is not a look I desire. I have gotten this as a sample twice in my life and both times I thought my hair always looked stunning when I used it — so I finally pulled the trigger and am very glad I did. My hair is naturally wavy with a tendency to frizz in humidity. My hair will get poufy without product but too much will weigh it down and look greasy. You only need a TINY drop of this (like pea-sized) for medium length hair and it just works. Worth the splurge if you tend towards drugstore hair products because it will last so long. It also smells incredible. I wish it were a pump and not a squeeze top because it’s easy to get too much product but it’s truly better than any other similar product (tried leave ins from Ouai, OGX, IGK, Amika, and probably others and this one still wins)rutherfoodie
I was looking for something that would protect the dry, splitting ends of my hair until I can get a haircut. My hair is very fine, very straight, not color treated, and prone to oiliness. I've never been able to get much volume or fullness out of my hair, no matter what product or styling method I use. But this seems to help somewhat. I apply it to the bottom half of my hair while damp, comb it through to distribute it, and then blow dry it. The few times I haven't dried it after applying this stuff, it left my hair sticky and sort of crunchy, so if your hair is like mine, it's not going to work as an air styler. It does give my hair a little bit of grip and texture, and my hair doesn't seem to get oily quite as quickly when I use this, so I can usually go 3 days between washes instead of just 2. Only downside is that it might be irritating the skin on my neck and behind my ears; I get painful cyst-like almost-pimples that never quite come to a head but stick around for days at a time. This might be partially due to how hot my room is at work, but it's definitely worse when I use this on my hair. I'm going to try washing my neck and behind my ears after styling my hair to see if that helps, because I really do like this product for my hair. My skin is particularly sensitive, so this probably isn't a problem for most people.ACB

I received the InfinitiPRO Cool Air Styler complimentary from Conair and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I personally struggled with this curling iron. It is different than what I am use to and your thumb gets tired from pressing the release button so often. My hair did not take or hold the curls very well. However, this curling iron has great hair saving features to ensure you don’t burn your hair. Heat setting is adjustable – I tried all settings on my hair and it still didn’t want to hold the curls. When using, curl small chunks of hair as it won’t effectively curl when too much hair is wrapped around the barrel. The plates do wrap and glide nicely. The cooling fan is a cool feature but makes the styler quite noisy for a curling iron.sydney.r
I received this product for free from Influenster and Conair in exchange for my honest review. I want to commend a company making such an affordable product so everyone has a chance to get a unique hair styling tool. With this curling iron, it has plates that work as a straightener so there are a ton of different styles you can create with this one iron. You can clamp hair like you would with a straight iron and glide down rounding out the bottom of the hair for a polished blowout type style. You can do a half twist and glide down the hair to create a lose wave type curl. You can wrap up as a traditional curling iron. You can twist multiple times and glide down to create a different type of curl, the options are truly endless. I found it to heat up in a quick enough time and my curls held for slightly less time than some higher end curling irons I have in my collection but again for the price this is a great option. Now my only real negative about the iron is how far the curling iron opens. I found it extremely difficult to get my section of hair in between the plates bc it didn’t open far enough and it was def a learning curve to figure out how to get my hair in between the plates. Using smaller sections of hair helped but sometimes I like using bigger pieces as I don’t have much time to do small sections before work. This is a neat curling iron. It has a built in fan to instantly set your curls and reduce heat damage, which I think is pretty effective. However, huge learning curve to get the consistent perfect curl and I believe the product design works against itself. For example, the release button to open the iron is, hard to use to me, alot of resistance, and wish it opened up more. I also ruined several of the curls before I started getting the hang of curling in an awkward vertical position. Mastering a technique with this iron costed me several ripped out hairs 😵💫 Something to keep in mind. I would say that those are the only things I did not like, however once I did get the hang of it, the curls are STUNNING. Since the Pandemic started, my hair has been looking less than satisfying. I stumbled upon this leave-in conditioner, and after using it for the last few weeks my hair has completely transformed! It has gone back to my original curl pattern (more of an S wave) I actually thought I had lost my curl pattern. My hair is now soft, the curls are extremely well defined, moisturized and shiny. I also have much less shedding when I wash my hair in the shower. I am so glad that I purchased this product. This was exactly what my hair needed!!! Let me start by saying I am a big loyal customer of Mielle. But since I opened the bottle I disliked the smell 😩. It reminded me of ocean scented aromatics, febrezze, soaps, etc . I use the babassu shampoo , I got this for my husband , well I tried it today and I was please with the results it cleaned my hair wonderfully and the smell toned down in the shower, I did picked up some sweet aromas. If you don’t have allergies to perfumes or scents or strong scents don’t bother you, than this line is a 5 star but for a nose like mine is a 4 . The deep conditioner and leave in gave me so much volume , clean feel, defined light curls, but the smell of the leave in has already given me a headache. Maybe tone it down with the fragrance ? Definitely has a learning curve. I also don't agree with Conair's recommendation for heat temp vs hair type. I have thin fine hair and I definitely needed to bump it up to around 15-20 range out of 30 to get the effect I wanted. Lower than that it just didn't do very much. It wasn't hot enough! I had where the dial is. It's very easy to move it when trying to use the waver. Other than that, once I took the time to play with it and find what works for me I really like it.Danielle
I'm obsessed. I've been wanting a triple barrel iron for awhile. I just didn't know which one to get. So I decided lets try this one. What's the worse I have to do buy a different brand if it isn't what I like? Played with it as soon as I came home. From my 1st use of this iron I was impressed with it. It’s lightweight, temp is completely adjustable, & it’s really user friendly. No crazy learning curve here. I don’t necessarily section off my hair every time I use it. I just start @ the top & make my way around my head. We don't have a huge amount of storage in our house so getting the bigger play sets was not going to be easy. I saw these small sets advertised recently and decided to give them a shot. They are awesome! My daughter gets just as much enjoyment if not more out of these small sets and they make it really easy to switch out her "store" for the day. She loves doing everyone's hair and makeup! I love the large variety this comes with. It's also laid out really nicely so everything has a spot. It even comes with a little selection menu so we can tell her what we want done. It's small but so interactive and great for saving space!

I have owned 2 sets of the ORIGINAL Remington TRAVEL Hot 10 roller set for over 6 years and absolutely LOVED them. It had the METAL bottom that the curlers sat on inside the case which heated the rollers very quickly (within 5 to 7 minutes). The new ones look the same but do not have the metal bottom they have a plastic bottom that NEVER gets hot so consequently nor do the rollers. I was told by the Remington customer service that "the plastic is over the metal to protect consumers from putting their fingers on the hot metal". I said "but the heat is not transferring. Why don't you put a plastic screen that is full of holes to let the heat come through to heat up the rollers? " Well guess what… when I went to return the new rollers I noticed that Remington did sell a large set of rollers that did have the plastic screen with the holes! They obviously know that there is a heating problem with the newly designed travel sets but they are making no attempt to pull these defective roller sets off the retailers shelves and replacing the defective ones. I gave the 2 new sets over 30 minutes each using different wall receptacles and they never did heat up enough to put in my hair . Very disappointed because the older ones were GREAT!Very Disappointed
I ordered a second set of these curlers because there weren't enough rollers in one set for my whole head. I do have somewhat thick and long hair, but not much more than average. I would think most people would need two sets unless their hair is very fine and short. I was also not very pleased with the wire clips that are meant to hold the rollers in. They kept shooting off across the bathroom. I use those plastic claw clips on mine that I got at the Dollar General. That works much better. I do really like the case these rollers come in. Others I've used in the past had hard plastic cases that always seemed to crack and break, letting cool air in and making them work less efficiently. This case is fabric and soft vinyl, and it seals tightly. The case is also very small, so it takes up less space on the counter. What I REALLY like is how well these rollers work. If they are pinned tightly on the head and allowed to stay in long enough to cool, they curl really well. My hair is thick, fine, and very straight. It's really hard to curl and to stay curled, especially when it's humid as it has been where I live. These curlers set my hair very firmly and the curls stayed all day. My hair was even still somewhat wavy when I woke up the next morning. Now that I have the second set, I know I'm really going to love these.merry-gifter
My father found this and brought it up to me. It is brand new with the box and it came just in time! I am a newbie. Even if I have curly naturally, I am constantly looking for how to enhance them and to take a better care of them. I love how practical they are by being small and compact. The pink is cute. The voltage is worldwide so you can use it everywhere. It heats pretty quickly. I did not find any issues with the pins. They don't crease the hair. However, there is a certain learning curve and I am not sure to be there quite yet. It is not very intuitive making not so great for beginner. Practice makes it perfect! I decided to try this product. I have black hair, which I have dyed with black hair dye to cover grays. I knew that this will lighten my hair and pull out the red. Now it's too brassy. I have medium brunette hair and this kit turned my hair orange. It says that people with brunette to black hair can use this product. I have used many highlighting kits by L’Oréal and had wonderful honey blonde highlighting results. I also regularly color my roots with L’Oréal, so I am not new to coloring. Love It. I've now used this 3 times. The first at the tips, the second up on the mids and the third was to add highlights. I used a highlighting cap and use blue conditioner every few weeks. It did not damage my hair in the slightest. I got a lot of compliments. I have natural dark brown hair and it came out an ashy/caramel color and not the slightest bit orange. I will mention that my hair was 100% virgin. There was no color on my hair when I used this…that may affect the results.Kristen

Having tried many styling products over the years now being in my late 50’s at last I have found one that’s suits my hair perfectly! Other products have made my hair greasy or have left a residue on my hair. After washing & conditioning my hair I spray 3 to 4 sprays and comb it through. I then blow dry & straighten my hair.I have long hair which is professionally coloured and is thick & wavy & can be a little coarse if I don’t use the correct products. I love love love this detangling leave in conditioner spray. My daughter has super tangled hair after the shower and it's impossible to brush her hair but this spray really works.
